Raviel walked around the busy streets of the capital. It was a rather sunny day, slowly transitioning to a nice evening. Not too hot nor too cold. The young mage kept a speedy pace, glancing up and down at a map. He had never visited the capital before. It was definitely much different from his home town. Not that Raquey wasn't busy, but he was simply unfamiliar with the layout and the architecture.
Taking a left, the young Shenxiao finally spotted The Mare's Leg. Oh thank the stars, he did not get himself lost in the streets. Right so...he was supposed to meet up with the captain of the Golden Dawn knights. Cross team trainingstuff, he was told. In all honesty, he was kinda nervous. He didn't really know what he was getting himself into.
The bell at the door ringed faintly as Raviel peaked his head inside the mostly empty locale. The taver wasn't one of the most famous around the capital, but he had heard good things about it. Well, he was supposed to find his man in there, so might as well walk inside. Closing the door behind him, the youngster scanned the are with his purple amethysts to see if he could recognize the man from the decrption he had been given back at Golden Dawn base.
Moving over the counter, the rubber soles of his tabi boots making no sound as he pushed pas table and chairs, Raviel approache the only person that seemed to match his description.
Gently tapping the man's shoulder, Raviel called for his attention: "I beg your pardon, sir, are you the Captain of the Golden Dawn Knights?" He asked.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] “The Mare’s Leg...Yuurei is going out of his way to make sure I repay my life debt with interest. Zaven, the Shadow of Dawn, and the captain of the Golden Dawn sat at a table at the weirdest pub in all the Royal Capital. It was decorated like a horse stable, complete with old feeding troughs in the males bathrooms...it was fucking odd. He sighed as he waited, he was not particularly busy with anything but he wanted to make sure that the person that Yuurei was sending over had time to go around the Golden Dawn base before training began. He ordered a pint of ale, something with a citrus blend...it would help him to keep his cool just in case the person who was coming was a hothead or worse...a numbskull. [break][break]
It did not take long however, as someone with a timid sounding voice called him out as the captain, begging his pardon even, which caused Zaven to chuckle a little. He stood up and looked at the Silver Eagle that stood before him. ”Yes, that would be me. I am the Shadow of Dawn, Zaven Blake. A pleasure to meet you. In the future be more sure of your words. Come take a seat and let us have a chat before we move on to the actual training. Do you have any questions?” He asked with a sly smile that he kept throughout talking. He awaited the questions eagerly as he drank the pint of ale.

Well hey, he had got the right guy first try. He just didn't know what to make of him yet. He was...weird. Strong but weird. Shadow of Dawn? What was that supposed to mean? Was that some sort of title the king had given him? Some recognition for a past deed maybe? Who knows. The guy seemed pretty prideful though. He could understand as much.
"The honour is all mine, Master Blake." Raviel quickly answered, a graceful bow following his words, as per customs. "I'm Raviel. Raviel Shengxiao." He would add a hasty introduction, remembering that he hadn't given the captain a name or anything. He didn't have any title or stuff like that though.
The young man took seat besides the man, looking at the counter more than Blake himself. The guy was prideful and pretty straightforward too. He probably took note of his doubts, seeing as he was asking if there were any questions to be asked. Raviel hummed, trying to weight words in a way that would not sound either rude or disrespectful. He indeed had a few things to ask, but he was unsure how to ask them. The guy told him to "be more sure of his words" which was a puzzling sentence on its own. He didn't seem to stutter much now, did he?
"What is the Shadow of Dawn?" the blonde inquired, eyes following the pint the knight was holding in his hand. "What kind of training will I have to do?" He would add soon after. Better know what you're getting yourself into. Not that he had much say in the matter anyway, but hey. Knowing something is certainly better that going in blind.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] The kid seemed unsure of himself or nervous...it was normal for people to be this way around Zaven now, but it was something the man did not like. When called Master Blake, and then when the kid took a seat and just stared at the counter Zaven wanted to almost knock on the kid’s head to make sure he was awake. He was about to give up after offering to answer questions until the kid spoke up asking about the Shadow of Dawn, then about what kind of training that he would have to endure. Zaven took a drink before leaning forward in a semi serious tone [break][break]
“The Shadow of Dawn is a title I was given for my service to the kingdom...I am actually surprised that you do not know that yet or have not heard of me. I was one of the few people that received their titles just after the five year war with Diamond. It stems from the fact that I am a Shadow Magic user and hail from the Golden Dawn Magic Knight Squad. I excel at gathering and brokering information for the Wizard King...more efficiently than any other squad and move about in the shadows unless I am needed to make a direct assault. As for training...We will start you off with learning how to control your mana using magical amplification items that will allow you to fill an area with your mana before trying to control it and make it into a tangible form. After that we will focus on close quarters combat training so that in any situation when you are out in the field you will be able to defend yourself. That is what our training will consist of...now quit hanging your head. Have a drink, this is a tavern after all.” [break][break]
Zaven would say before finishing his pint of ale before looking at his new acquaintance.

Raviel hummed, taking all the new infromation in. So he did do some cool thing with the king. Crazy.
"Understood." He answered, even though he didn't really know what the guy meant by "magical amplification items that will allow you to fill an area with your mana before trying to control it and make it into a tangible form". Wast that going to be Attack Creation training? Should he tell him he already could conjure up thing and weapons made of silver?
Another thing that had him curious was if he would be training alone or alongside other knights of Blake's house. He didn't think this was some kind of one on one thing. He didn't expect any kind of special treatment or anything of the sort either.
The young blonde prince didn't have the time to say anything else, as he was prompted to order something to drink. Was he really supposed to drink on the job? Besides wouldn't that screw up with his to do list and training regimen?
Raviel looked around the counter, trying to spot something that could interest him. He honestly didn't feel like he needed anything, but maybe he should just get something so that he wouldn't appear rude. "Uuuh...may I have some water please? Maybe with a slice of lemon in it?" He asked the bartender, hoping it would be enough to satisfy the Golden Dawn captain.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] Hearing the kid order a water with a slice of lemon was...baffling to say the least. He did not understand why someone would come to a bar for a meeting and not order anything less than an ale, so the meeting was already starting off on a boring tone. However, Zaven was eager to get to training and as soon as the water was delivered to the table Zaven leaned in and spoke to the kid. ”The training will be a one on one thing for the most part, I will also bring along one of my good friends, his name is Drake. He is also a member of the Golden Dawn and is pretty close to your level in training so it will be good for him as well. Once you are done with your water we will move to the Golden Dawn Headquarters and I will take you to one of our spare bedrooms where you will be staying for the duration.” He said as he finished the ale. [break][break]
”We will begin the training in the morning at dawn. The first will be a mild run around the keep and then will resume with daily exercise and training with hand to hand combat. Afterwards we will move on to what I mentioned earlier.” He said as he saw that so far the young lad had hardly spoken. He wondered if he had intimidated the man that bad.

The Silver Blade
Raviel would keep quiet as he listened to the dispositions the Captain laid out for him. Sounded easy enough. He was used to much much much harder things when it came to training, but starting simple would not really hurt anyone. Especially sinw he had just been td he was about to train with someone from Golden Dawn.
"I look forward to meeting Lord Drake." He answered politely, finishing up his drink and settling the glass back on the counter. He would also read for behind his back and pull out the money required to pay for his order. Once that was done too, the young blonde would push himself up straight, the rubber soles of his tabi boots making no sound as he did so. He was ready to leave for the Golden Dawn premises, as instructed.
"I am ready to depart at your earliest convenience." He stated.
