- Flashback -

"So you ready to start gardening with daddy today?" Corvo asked out loud holding two baskets of gardening tools in both hands. He waited and got no answer, so he started to look around playfully. "Now where did my daughter run off too? Ooohh Samantha! Samantha where are you?" he playfully asked out loud looking for his daughter, setting the two baskets down on the tall green grass.

"Oh my gosh I can't find my daughter, what am I going to do? Whose going to help me plant all these seeds? Oh well I guess I'll find someone else to help me." he said loud enough for his daughter to hear. A second later a young girl jumped from behind a bush! "I'm right here daddy!" her voice chuckling from hiding from her dad so well. "I can help you!" she said running towards him.

"Aah! There goes my precious daughter!" he bent down to her height and had his arms open, she ran into them so he could pick her up. "You've gotten so good at hiding! I couldn't find you!"

"Really!? Mommy says you could find anyone! When you try really hard!"

Corvo chuckled hugging his daughter. "Yeah but that was a loooong time ago. Now are you gonna help me plant these seeds like you promised?" he put Samatha down and started to tickle her.

"Hahahahahahahaaaaahhaaa! Yes! Yes!~ Yes! I'll help you~! Hahaaa!" Corvo stopped tickling her and was chuckling himself, reaching for the gardening tools. Samantha still laughing looked up into the sky, and saw a large black shadow slowly start to cover Kikka. "Daddy look whats that?" she asked him pointing at the darkening sky.

Corvo looked up with a hint of worry in his eyes. "I-I don't know baby."

- Present Day -

"Overtraining as always! Why are you always so stubborn!" Valo's mother Eliana shouted at him from her kitchen window, which was right next to the backyard where Valo was doing one finger push ups. "300, 301, 302, 303, 304. I'll be fine!" he said back to her continuing his condition training, beads of sweat falling from his forehead. His sleeveless loose white shirt was all sweaty as well, Valo was focused on completing his training though not letting anything distract him.

"Can't one of you guys talk some sense into him!" She shouted once again, but this time at wraiths nearby. Kiyoshi and Anata had already gotten familiar with Eliana and her home. Being Valo's mother they gave her the utmost respect. Charlotte and Nanami we're already really close to Eliana them practically being family.

Kiyoshi was not to far away looking at the distance, the castles from the noble region in his sights. His eyes looked over Kikka, it was in a much better state now nearly back to how it looked before their attack that time ago. The Kikka restoration process had proven to be a success while all those lives lost will always be a tragedy that could never be forgotten, the town could move on to better and brighter days. The swordsman had hints of regret on his face, and in his eyes. Though commanded to do so by his master Lillitu whom was also only taking orders from Svenm they inflicted a lot of pain on the people of Kikka.

Anata came up behind him. "Lots on your mind brother?" she asked him in a soothing voice. She already knew what troubled him, she only hoped he would be willing to talk about it this time.
