The door has shut behind the Noble as he left his bedroom for his day off from work. Birds could be heard chirping outside, the smell of nature flowing through the base, and even the heavy footsteps of other Magic Knights maneuvering around the building. It was never really a good thing to have a day off whenever you work for a Squad such as the Azure Deer. Paperwork will get backed up along with other stuff that really would make anyone go crazy. But today was a day that the Noble was told to get some relaxation while things were kind of slow for him. This day off was actually an order from the Captain herself. Though, the only way that he had agreed to it was that he could pick someone to have the day off with him. The first person that had come to mind was the newer member of the Squad, Joseph Cobborn. He was an interesting person to meet whenever Naxel gave him the tour of the base that day. The way that he reacted to everything, his personality, and even the interesting sign language that he brought to light. Naxel figured that he would wind up becoming a great ally and asset to this squad. He was a freshling of course, but being new wasn’t anyway to measure what someone will become. Some people can show promise at a younger age while others are late bloomers with their abilities. The Noble didn’t really know what this new person could be capable of doing. So, he figured that with this day off he will try to learn more about this new member.[break][break]
Naxel had made his way up to the top floor of the dorm building. It was a horrible walk most of the time, but the new senior rank room was a lot better than his old one. The size of the room was a little bit bigger with some nicer new stuff. One thing he really liked about it was that he could still have a window for his little friend that visited him quite often. That little bird has grown so much since Naxel had help nurse it back to health. A smile would always come to his face every morning when he woke up to the little guy sleeping. Any who, as Naxel made his way into the main building of the base was when he was greeted by some of the night shift Knights. Those guys usually had it rough, from what he has heard. Though, Naxel did hear that most of them had requested the night shift, because there was less eventful things happening then. It was something he never really understood, but, hey, it was what they wanted. Naxel then made his way down by the training area and sauna to get to the staircase. Making his way down a couple of floors until he arrived at the Junior and Intermediate floor. The floor was still fresh within his mind as he made his way down the halls. Minor cases sucked a lot, but it was always fun doing the field part of the cases. It was always better than sitting at a desk. But, Naxel had made it to the office of the newer member of the Squad. He gave the door a couple of Knocks before walking in. “Sorry to barge in like this.” Saying with a sincere tone to his voice. “Junior Knight Joseph. You have the day off today with me. Let’s get out of here.” This time speaking to Joseph as he was looking directly at him.[break][break]

Moving their belongings had been far simpler than expected. It's strange to think about, the realization of just how little he had actually owned. They hadn't owned instruments since he didn't play any. His only belongings had been clothes that all looked relatively similar, and a few notebooks. Those notebooks held no stories, nor poetry. They were mostly where he wrote notes on different books, musical pieces, the different sounds of instruments, or life. It was easier to hide all these subjects of interest from possible peekers into what was private by keeping all of these things mixed and meshed. But due to the nosiness of a certain cousin, everything was mixed in normal writing, drawing to mimic sign language, and a mix of holes and dots of thick paint to mimic braille. Not all of them had tried to dig through the notebooks, but one had certainly been more than enough to cause the unusual mix. The more annoying it was for others to read the better, as those notebooks were not meant for the prying eyes of others. No hobbies in his life existed outside of things relating to their goal of becoming a magic knight. Technically even the path to better mental wellness had been fueled by that as well. Maybe one day there would be a time the young man wouldn't be quieted each time extreme emotions peeked through every day life.
The only way to become a good magic knight would be to keep trying to improve, approach fears that made the heart tremble in waves with a mind calm enough to still the reverberating waters. Keep going up the path even if you're scared. One this day it was the smallest of progression, learning about paperwork. At least it had been easy enough to find the office door with his name on it. While it helped that he had sunk so many hours and days of his life into reading, that didn't instantly create the mastery over such things. Paperwork was still something new to the pale peachy pink eyed individual. At least every word was easy enough to comprehend, making that at least one less thing preventing him from completion. It took a few hours to finish everything, but Cobborn had no idea where to hand each thing to. Maybe this was something he should have thought of asking about when he was being given that tour. “I wont find out where these go just sitting here, will I?” The orange haired person signed these words quietly to himself as a way to keep himself on track. There was no need to waver or falter, even when you don't have the answer. Why? Because there's always a way to find out. In this case he could just someone with more experience about what should be done with all of these things after his part in them was completed.
So the warm pale skinned azure deer knight stood up before gathering the different completed pieces of paperwork. It was during this time that he heard the knocking. Feeling a bit surprised, the man paused their actions for a moment. Pale pink eyes looked over towards Naxel with a surprised expression. It took another moment for such things to wear off, eyes going back to the papers. Half of them were in his arms at this point, the other half of the desk. Should he just finish doing this, or go along? A break was certainly not something Joseph was used to thinking about, let alone taking. This wasn't the right time for words to escape him, these arms and hands were busy! Breathe! He took in a deep breath before putting down the pile. There, now he could say things! Even if it was with hands rather than lips. “Hello Blake sir. You didn't barge in at all, I'm just a bit surprised. Are you sure I’ll be taking the day off with you? I just finished this, I was going to ask someone what to do with these after they're finished.” Should they be picked back up now that the words have been signed out to Naxel? Then again, the young man had accidentally revealed what was likely a need to experience at least one break. Who reacts to such an offer with talk about work? Apparently this guy.
Things felt a little awkward whenever Naxel watched Jospeh give a response to his statement. The young man had used this sign language, he presumed, to give his answered back. Naxel didn’t know how to speak with sign language, but turned his head over to the other Knight that shared this room. They had followed what was going on since the Senior Knight made his entrance into the room. When Naxels eyes met theirs was when the Knight figured that Naxel couldn’t really understand what Jospeh had signed. “He asked if you were sure he was taking the day off with you. Also, Joseph, I’ll handle the paperwork for you, and tell you where it goes later.” They had said to both Naxel and Joseph before locking their eyes onto the Noble. “Since he likes to talk in sign. It wouldn’t be a bad idea for you to learn how to talk in it as well. Respectively, Sir.” Free speaking to the Noble who was their superior in the room. Naxel didn’t really mind it at all that they freely spoken their mind. In fact, they weren’t wrong that he should give learning this new skill a try. It would help this newly, always nervous, member become a lot more comfortable in the squad. He then kept that in mind as he turned his body around to face the exit of the room. “Thank you. I will take that in advisement.” Having his head turned a little towards the other Knight. He would then turn his head the other way, a little, to speak with Joseph again. “Lets get going. I am sure your office mate would rather come with me if you don’t. Hehe” The words of him wanting his partner for the day to take strongly while also throwing in some humor as well.[break][break]
After he spoke to Joseph, Naxel made his way out into the hall as he began to head for the staircase. The walk wasn’t long since one set of stairs was very close to where Josephs was located. Naxel made his way down the stairs as he hoped that Joseph was following closely behind him. When he made it to the ground floor was when the Noble would begin making conversation. “Despite being thrown a day off so soon, I would like to thank you for joining me today. Captain Carmelita was forcing me to take a day off from my daily duties, but i didn’t really want to. The only way I told her I would do such a thing was if you would join me.” Pausing for a moment as he would turn down the hall that lead to the Grand Entrance. “Since I first met you I’ve had this curiosity to know more about you. So I figured that we could head to Narin’s Magic Knight Hotspot to hang out and relax. It is a pub, but they welcome all Magic Knights, young and old. Just don’t make the boss lady there mad, or she will bring down the firepower that would make the Captain look like a kitten.” Informing Joseph on the day that they had planned together. Naxel did speak the truth about wanting to know more about the newer member of the Squad. There were a lot of people within said squad that he did know. Most of them he only spoke with when work was forcing them to speak to one another. This, though, was something he wanted more than work. Naxel wanted to become friends with Joseph as well as wanting Joseph to know he had a friend within the squad. Allies within any squad was always something worth having. Some people could be hateful while others wanna see you strive. With this, Naxel wanted to see and help this young man strive with all the power behind him that he could. But, by the time he had finish speaking was when they had made it to the front entrance of the squad. Naxel opened the front door to begin making his way down to Nairn.[break][break]

Peachy pink eyes showed a little surprise before his bodies muscles loosened a small bit. That's right, taking a break didn't mean he wasn't going to learn further and do more after. The break was a bit forced, but that wasn't a bad thing. A quiet voice finally sprung forth from their throat. “Thank you very much, I look forward to that.” This was spoken to the person he shared the office with, looking at them while he did. Joseph hadn't really expected the suggestion that others learn sign language to make communicating with him easier, though it was nice. With family such things were typically treated as burdensome, but here it seemed to be viewed as being considerate. Blake had been nice since first meeting, but Joseph still hadn't quite expected them to be so accepting of the suggestion to learn sign language. “I try to speak with my voice when possible, but I’ve used sign language a lot longer than spoken...” Would the reasons behind it be said? Not in a workplace setting. Was there any setting where it would be okay? Not a question Cobborn was interested in digging into that day. “So... it gets hard when my emotions get high.” That was an honest answer, even if the reason as to why wasn't fully explained. Even that little bit of information felt a bit private though. His fathers family had a way of seeing things that they did their best to instill within the boy.
Family business was supposed to be strictly kept in the family. At this point though? There wasn't really a never on that information now. If they no longer saw him as family, then there wasn't a reason to keep their secrets when and if he felt like speaking them. The bare minimum on himself was nothing to worry over. At the least it said that he didn't go quiet just because he felt like it. There was no deciding that he wasn't going to vocally speak, as the man always wanted to use that option. Why? It was the one other people typically understood. Nobody likes it when others can't tell what you're saying. It feels a bit like speaking into a void with how lost the words could quickly become. Was that a joke Mister Blake just told? “I'm pretty sure if I took too long that he would push me out of the office.” With that spoken, the young man backed away from the papers full of completed work that laid on his desk before leaving after the brunette. That man really could move, couldn't he? Was it that exciting to take a break from work? But it was when they were on the ground floor that he found out maybe the other wasn't all that eager for breaks either. It was a bit of a surprise that the other would want a break with the peachy orange haired young man. Naxel looked around the same age as he, but was stronger and more experienced.
What did Joseph have to show for their eighteen years of life? Someone raised by pacifists that was called by something that wouldn't exactly involve pacifism. To him it felt like the world was a colorful place and to avoid violence all together was to ignore an entire color. But it was still starting later than others typically would. When one gets their grimoire was the time people typically prepared for the world before or during the time they ran for the next goal. “I'm surprised you're curious about me when you're the one with experience.” Shouldn't he be the one asking questions about the brunette? Not like the junior was the type to ask someone questions of the personal variety anyway. Then again he didn't even ask himself enough questions, let alone other people. Books definitely didn't have everything you needed to know between their pages, that much was certainly clear long ago. Sure, for missions he would seek and grasp for information outside of pages, but that different. Wasn't it? Maybe he needed to learn from work a bit and what is asked of him. What was the first step of getting to know someone? Everyone should at least start with some honesty. If you can't do that much, than how could he expect it out of other people? It wouldn't make any sense to do such a thing. It would feel very stupid to say out loud, but nothing would ever change if he didn't.
It wouldn't make sense to expect yourself to change when your actions themselves remain unchanged. “I've never actually gone to a pub before. Honestly, the idea of taking a break never even occurred to me since deciding my goal as a child.” Cobborn was still following Blake, but that that didn't change just how awkward he felt at this time. Saying that out loud make him feel kind of stupid. Maybe he had been focused on the one goal a bit much? Though it was hard not to, wasn't it? Magic knights get to help people. The better you get, the more people an individual can help. Of course learning to work as part of a group was also a more effective way to help others too, right? There would always be someone with different skills than yourself. What kind of place was that pub though? Why would someone that strong be running a place where people relax? Then again, why not? What a weird thought. “I was raised better than to needlessly cause trouble...”
During their trip down to the main entrance of the base was when Naxel was able to get some information and chuckles. One thing that caught his attention was that Joseph was curious about why the Noble was interesting in him. He knew exactly why he was interested in the young man. Part of him knows that this newer member will one day grow to become a powerful asset to the squad they’ve both joined. Naxel sees great promise in him like he does with another member of the squad who isn’t afraid to take chances. Despite the member sometimes getting into trouble with some of his sneaky actions. But mainly, the noble wants to get to know all about as many of his fellow squad members as he can. After all he is trying to become the leader of this amazing squad one day or another. To him he knows that getting to know his members will help him go a long way when it does come time for him to lead and entire squad. For now, he wants to help Joesph get acquainted with someone higher up with the squad to where he can show the member that he always has someone to come to if ever needed. Plus he still awaits the day that they two would start training together, so Naxel will learn what kind of power this member can handle. Another curiosity struck him was when Joseph mentioned that he had never been inside of a pub before. They were walking out the door of the base when those words struck the Nobles ears. To think about it, Naxel hasn’t really asked the young member how old he was or if he wanted to go. The place they were headed wasn’t mainly for people to go get drunk at. It is a safe haven for members of the entire Magic Knight order to go and hang out. “Don’t worry Joseph. The place where we are going is more friendlier than any normal pub. If you haven’t been to one before then this is a place to begin.” Softly speaking as they make their way down the path that leads to the town of Nairn. “Think of it as like a beginner pub. Just without all the hateful, horrible, or gruesome people you would find in other places.” Speaking once again as they would continue on towards the town.[break][break]
After a good bit of walking towards the town they would enter the community to where they would start heading to the pub. It wasn’t that far from the part of town they had entered. Usually it only took a few moments along with a couple of turns before you would arrive at the destination. When they would arrive would be when Naxel would stop in front of the door to turn back at his partner. “Well, here it is! Do not mind how it looks on the outside, because the inside is open and clean.” With those words escaping his lips was when he opened the door to make his way inside. Once his eyes saw the inside he had noticed that the old woman had did some rearranging to the place. There were more tables that were bigger for large groups of people while she did some redecorating the booth like tables on the far side. It was a beautiful sight to see. Not to mention the greeting the two would get when they entered the Pub. “Welcome Sir Naxel and fellow Azure Deer!” The woman seemed to be in a happier than normal mood today. “Hello to you as well! This is a newer member to the Azure Deers, Joseph Cobborn. He is an interesting fellow, so do not scare him too much now, hehe.” Saying to the woman before he would make his way over to his usual spot in one of the booth like tables. When he sat down he would throw his hand up to gain the attention of the woman. “I’d like the usual please. Whatever Joseph would like as well. Place it on my ticket if you don’t mind, please.” Saying aloud as he would turn his attention to Joseph once he would take his spot. “By the way, to answer your statement earlier. I have interest in you because of what I know you’ll become. Anyone else, in any other squad, would see new members as just members. But me, I always see new members as great assets to the squad. Everyone, young or old, has the potential to become something great that they don’t even know what it is yet. For example, Captain Willow was someone who I hold deeply to my heart. He... I mean now she... Taught me everything I know about caring for other members.” Taking a second to take in a couple of breaths. “She was very kind, caring, and loyal to her squad and members. So, that is where I learned to see great potential in people who join our squad.” Finishing his statement to allow for his partner to soak in everything that was just said. Which everything he spoke of was true. Naxel just hoped that Joseph would see the potential in himself like the Noble does him.[break][break]

Naxels comment was a little bit confusing. Were most pubs not friendly? Books made public houses to be a term that could refer to a number of different types of businesses. It ranged from places like a home that can publicly serve alcohol, an inn that could serve alcohol, taverns, and even bars. Should he have asked the higher ranked what kind of pub they were actually going to? Then again if he's thinking of a type that typically has unsavory characters, it was likely a bar. A home that can serve alcohol to the public wouldn't typically have anything unsavory, same with an inn. Taverns serve food, not just alcohol. Though similar to a bar in some aspect, it is a setting more friendly towards families and the like drinking, eating, or even playing a board game at a table. A bar was the sort of place people typically went either looking to drug themselves into a stupor, find trouble, or find someone to take to a bed. Would it really be okay to be lead into a bar? Blake was kind so far and also a magic knight. Joseph was a bit confused, but had continued to follow the brown haired man along. The two were actually getting to town and traveling over a bit quicker than expected. His question of why the other wanted to get to know him more never really felt like it was completely answered, at all.
It was only a matter of time before they had were already entering the building, so asking any questions about what type of pub or what was meant by unsavory wouldn't have been useful. It would also have been weird to ask again why the higher ranked individual had any interest in him. Maybe the other didn't know that the term didn't just refer to bars? Cobborn wasn't sure what they had been expecting, but it hadn't been an old woman and a clean looking establishment. It definitely looked like more of a tavern than a bar. Then again, maybe it was just a bar with a lot of tables? Either way, it didn't look like a questionable place to step in. He loosened his bodies muscles a bit, something his body had gathered and stored during the mental confusion. That meant the tenseness in their muscles released when there was more clarity. gave the elder a smile before waving a bit. “Hello miss, thank you for the warm welcome.” It seemed like the more experienced one out of the two was quite eager, already introducing him to the elderly woman. Did Naxel think he was a bunny? Did he really seem that easy to scare? Or maybe the brunet didn't think of all the strong emotions that exist outside of fear. The young adult shook their head a bit, causing their long braided peachy orangey hair to sway a bit.
Talking about orders, pale pink eyes glanced at the menu that hung over the bar area, making a quick choice. “Some Ginger beer and meatloaf with potatoes, if that's alright.” He wasn't sure what the usual was for the brunette, but perhaps that would be quickly discovered. How often did they go here in order to have a ticket? In any case he sat at the same table that Blake had walked to and sat at. Everything was going a bit fast, but that seemed to be the theme of life lately. It was king of interesting, did that mean he would become something less pathetic? Somehow, a tavern didn't seem like the kick off place for that. Learning to relax was important to though? Probably. The booth was certainly comfortable to sit in. She? He? Joseph hadn't expected an answer to his question now, nor so much information to come with it. It sounded like something happened to the person the brunette looked up top. Was asking too much? You don't know until you try. “Was Willow effected by the shattering?” It was the sort of event that had effected many people and places, but not himself personally. But... He than she, the was mixed with the suggestion that they still live. How could it now sound like someone effected by such a massive event? He sighed a bit, pale pink eyes looking to the table.
“You're a very nice person, but I don't really see that much potential in myself. You know what I did before becoming a magic knight? I was just working to try to speak and get out of my own head. My mother was an operatic singer whos voice was never forgotten by most who heard her sing. She died of a mysterious illness that no doctor could figure out, but her life drained with each sound she made. My father was so traumatized by it that he tried to make sure that I would never make a single sound again. I don't remember my mother, just as I barely remember my father, because I had to block out out to block out the other... Though I can't be upset at him for that. He caused my magic to change before I ever got my grimoire, and is why I decided I wanted to be a magic knight. I... I'm starting later in life than most by years, talking with my voice is still awkward, but... Everyone in my fathers side has music inside always playing. When mine went silent, I could hear the worlds tunes from everything and everyone... How could I not want to help in some way after hearing?” He had been compelled by that desire ever since their own internal song had stopped. He didn't look up at the stronger mage, not when speaking about such things. Not when expressing how he didn't see the same potential the other did.
The Senior Azure Deer would sit there in his seat as he watched his company take theirs. Joseph looked over the menu of the old ladies before deciding to go with the meatloaf. A lot of people had told him that he needed to try the dish as it was apparently delicious. Normally the Noble would usually pick one thing, and then continue getting it until he had lost his taste for the dish. Which, this would only be the tenth time he had selected his current usual to eat. Meat stew. A very basic dish that would appear like a dish you would find in a commoners household. Well, whenever they would find enough ingredients to make such a dish. The old lady was very quiet about what she used to cook all of her food. Some Knights joked about her getting rodents out of the back to use as ingredients for all of her dishes. Luckily, Naxel was able to enter the woman’s kitchen before to drop off some of his dirty dishes that he had eaten on. From what he saw was an abundance of fresh looking meats that seemed to have been retrieved that day. So, hearing all of the other Azure Deers talk about the place was just hilarious to hear. Maybe one day he would inform the old lady about the rumors to where she would unleash her wrath on them. Now that would be an amazing sight to see. Any-who, Naxel then went on to say what he wanted to begin saying to the newer member of the Squad.[break][break]
When the Noble had finished everything he wanted to say was when he gave his company a chance to respond. The first thing Joseph had spoke of was a question about Captain Willow. He had asked if he had been affected by the shattering events that had caused this world to go all different in ways. Naxel would nod his head to inform Joseph that what he said was accurate. The search for Captain willow was a very long personal mission that he had done. Luckily, he was able to find her to know that she was doing good and well now. Naxel was just only a Senior ranked Knight at the moment to where he doesn’t know the stress of Captain just yet. One day he will become the Captain, and hopefully make his old Captain proud of what he has accomplished. FIrst he would need to hit Vice-Captain before even thinking about becoming captain. Yet, that is just a thought for another time other than at this moment. Naxel then continued on to listen to what else his company had to say. It was a very sad story that he had went on to say. His mother passing away from a mysterious illness, but left a great mark on the hearts and mind of those who had heard her sing. Now his father didn’t really sound like such a good person from what he could tell. But it was good to know that he had decided to join the Magic Knights to where he could help people. That itself is a great quality to have, and something to where it would make Naxel smile on the Inside.[break][break]
After Joesph finished speaking, Naxel had began to move his lips to begin responding to his company. That was until the Old lady had walked out of the Kitchen to bring the orders that they both had placed. This had come as a shock to the Noble since it usually took her a little longer to make food for more than one person. Well, they were the only two within the building at the moment, so that makes a little more sense to him. Luckily she had taken notice to his shock of her bringing out their food very quickly. ”Now don’t get all spoiled just because I brought your food out a lot faster than normal. You two were lucky enough to come while I was making meals for some of the homeless like I normally do. I had just finished making a few plates of meatloaf to where I could spare one to your friend. Your dish on the other hand is as easy to make as me slaying the mana beasts back in my day. HAHA.” She would say to the two Azure Deer Knights before walking back towards the Kitchen with her laugh still going. Naxel didn’t really know what to say to all that she had said. Nonetheless, he would turn his attention back towards Joseph while he began digging into his stew. “First, Yes Captain Willow was affected by the shattering. I assume she left the squad afterwards so she would be with her people. A bunch of good folks they are, but can dress strange at times. For the other, just because you don’t see potential in yourself doesn’t mean others do. Everyone can not all play the same roles when it comes to every scenario. I just happen to have good offensive spells along with good tracking magic as well. So, that would mean that I can’t block every hit from a creature or opponent. Nor could I step back and heal someone. Whatever it is that your magic possesses will flourish with us at the Azure Deer.” Taking a pause to take a couple bites out of his soup. “Heck, we have a member who is just like how you are. She is usually off hiding out somewhere in the Kingdom. Though, it is hard to track her down as well as keep her in your sights longer than a few moments. I’ve only had a couple encounters with her, so I don’t know her fully, sadly.” Stopping to take another bite out of his soup. “How is your meatloaf by the way?” Finish off what he had to say with a simple question about his food.[break][break]

“Thank you for the meal madam.” The young pink eyed man said when the drink and food was placed. This was the only polite thing to do, after all. Joseph didn't know much about meatloaf, only that it was a common food that didn't cost a lot. This was because the meat was ground up, then mixed with bread and egg. This meant it didn't have to be especially good cuts, they just had to grind up. The bread not only gave the meatloaf more body, but it also made the 'loaf' more tender. The egg added a small amount of body, but also held everything together. These were things he didn't know about, but were some of the many reasons why it was something cheap enough for even a commoner to enjoy. Receiving the food was nice, though unexpectedly fast. It made sense that she already had a batch made for a different reason. All he knew was that the tavern owner seemed to be a good business person at the very least. They can afford to feed the hungry and make food, it was a good reminder of the have and have not. This was a country ruled by both class and magic. It wasn't enough to have strong magic, not if one stepped on the wrong toes. Why this was so drilled into their mind? His fathers family was a line of powerful magic users, it was basically a requirement to be in the family.
This wasn't for a crave of power, but the importance sound was to a family of musicians. A family of people who avoided conflict and fighting, they were only one of multiple families with the very same last name. Their line of Cobborns weren't even the only commoner family full of musicians. For those who were of a certain status or lower, there was less freedom to choose your future job. What he had done was completely reckless, but was also in the dreams of many to succeed at getting in. Many people dreamed of becoming a magic knight, but on was more likely to find a noble part of one of the groups. At the least it seemed recent times had more commoners like himself allowed inside. Despite wanting to treat Naxel as an equal, a small part gnawed at him. The man was very nice and optimistic, it was the sort of thing the peachy orange haired young man wanted to hear. A sip of ginger beer was creamy and crisp in flavor, the bite coming from the main ingredient. It had a small amount of alcohol, but not nearly enough to get one tipsy, even if you had them until your bladder was ready to burst. “I'm flattered that you believe in me so strongly, but I will only ever do my best. I didn't get the calling to outshine or stand out.”
The information on Willow had been vague at best, only something understood if one had known Willow before the shattering. Did Naxel know how much they had changed, or did he know as little as spoken? “My mother was a star brighter than any darkness in her life, so I was told. Flashy fires tend to burn fast, though the songs outlast the flesh. I don't want to be remembered, only to make a positive difference. If my future is too bright than my body might burn as hers had.” Some might find it strange to have no hurry to rush to be one of the best. It was a good ambition to have and those who achieve it can appear otherworldly. People who seem to exist as part person and part myth. Maybe they will seem less incredible once Joseph had more experience and strength under him. But maybe not. Then again, maybe the senior azure deer was more fond of the idea of new comers coming in and enriching things than anything realistic. It was sweet, but not rational.
