[attr="class","glentext"] The involvement on Hans on something like a mixer was rather unexpected, but considering that Charles knew him and so did Suna, it wasn't too surprising. The silver mage felt a bit relieved that the dark mage agreed. He couldn't see himself going to a mixer alone with no male company, its not like he didn't mind Suna. His friendship with Hans could be considered a bit different with Suna. Plus the blue-haired elf was going to be the one in-charge of doing all of that, which was a bit nerve-racking. Even after what happened at Kikka, the Black Bull was nowhere prepared for something like a mixer. He didn't see himself of what many people will call a "ladies' man." Being a member of the Black Bulls, his overall lazy and monotonous personality. Not only that, but even if he was probably one of the most normal out of the whole bunch most people will be afraid of him. [break][break] As the trio of mages spotted Verena, Hans suggested to say hi, but at this moment Charles realized he had to go. He remembered he had to run some other errands and unfortunately his time was up. The silver mage looked at both Hans and Suna. "Crap... I just realized I have to do something else and now I have to go. Anyway, if you have the chance tell Verena I said hi." He said to the two, whoever was willing to say that, but now he had to go. Maybe they'll be able to talk about Kikka another day but now wasn't the time. At least there was peace and everyone was able to enjoy the festival. Suna had raised an eyebrow when Charles stated that he knew the Reinsberg noble (Verena Reinsberg). How did he know her? As with the previous encounters, she was finding that the world was becoming smaller and smaller. Or rather, her various circle of friends all somehow related to each other, as if there was some unseen force bringing them all together. It was peculiar, but finding out about all these connects were also exciting at the same time.
"She’s a fellow bookworm. Of course I would know her!" She waved her hands in the air, as if the explanation was the most natural thing in the world. But if that raised more questions, she would continue on further. "We met in Hapshass," she explained, "Found some books, taught her some of my sound magic, and she even came to help me organize my books when I first moved in. Now, the better question is," she raised a finger up in the air and tilted her head slightly to the side, "How do you know her?"
Verena was not the only female mage she recognized. "Yes, Shizuyoru." She nodded, now directing her attention towards Hans. "She and I fought a bear together, and we even made a little trip down to the broom-maker’s house for her to get her own magical broom. Can’t be a witch without her proper broom, right?" The last part was more of a rhetorical question, as she did not really expect the mercenary to answer.
As for the pretty mage, the blue-haired elf still could help but let out a little sigh of envy. (Hinota Yuiee✾) Such a doll, with her fine feminine features and gentle demeanor. Even her name was pretty. Suna would not be surprised if the female was a lady bred and raised in a noble household. Not only did Hans seem to know her, but Charles as well. Nonetheless, she pushed the little nagging thought away and focused on enjoying the moment. No need to let a bit of jealousy ruin her day.

No, no, that could not be it...or was it?
Hans was licking his treat, and Suna watched him curiously as he bit down into it. "Is it sweet? Is it soft? Does it melt in your mouth? Is it good?" But it seemed like her last question was answered when he took another bite. She would need to go get one for herself. That is, until he made a motion towards her, offering some to her.
Her blue eyes lit up, and she leaned forward to bite into it. "Mmm..." The chocolate basically just melted into her mouth, and was that a hint of marshmallows she tasted? She drew her head back to look at it. Marshmallows confirmed. "So rich..." she nodded in appreciation, licking her lips of every last trace of the sweet treat. It was even better when it was her man feeding it to her...which brought to mind the last time she fed him. She eyed it for another moment, and if Hans was not fast enough, she would steal the rest of the chocolate. Then she would take a few sips of her tea to wash the rich sweetness down.
Suna cupped her hands around the mug, feeling the warmth seep into her hands. The hot drink had also done wonders for the cold, and she could feel her insides all nice and warm now. "Hmm?" She turned at the mercenary’s gentle prodding towards Verena, and nodded. This was a first, him initiating a contact—and she was all for encouraging it. "Let’s go!" But first, she gave Hinota a little wave and said cheerily, "We’ll be right back!"
But then Charles said he had to leave, and left her with a greeting to pass on to Verena. "Oh, okay. See you around then, Charles!" She waved farewell to the silver mage before proceeding towards the summoner’s direction. "Verena!" She called out, "How are you doing? What treat did you get? Is it good?" Leave it to her to bombard the poor noble girl with questions.
"Did you see Charles? He just left but told me to say hi. Honestly, that boy." The elf shook her head, emphasizing the last word, though it was with fondness. Little did Suna know that there was some chocolate still clinging to the corner of her mouth, so it would be up to the people around her to point that out...if they chose to do so...
