Michail's opinion of Pierce didn't necessarily change. It neither worsened nor improved based on the other blond's response to him. Given that Michail had never heard of Pierce beyond 'being a part of the family', he assumed that meant he had no feats to his name. Similarly, he never heard what Squad the young man belonged to, so he assumed that he didn't belong to a Magic Knight squad.
"...Mm... no, even if they hold back, we're likely to still lose this. We're not sparring against them to win. I very much doubt our beloved head of the family would put me with someone whom I've never met over my sister if she expected us to win. And given we're facing Victoria, this only further emphasizes that. I know little about her beyond what I've heard, but I know that while Lydia's away, she's entrusted with overseeing Carrion. In other words, we're competing against a mage Lydia hand-picked to fill in for her. That wouldn't just go to just anyone."
Michail ran a hand down his face, sighing. Just his luck. All of the generals were, obviously, incredibly strong in their own rights. By no means were any of them a slouch. However, Victoria was picked by Lydia to be her stand-in when she could not be in Carrion. In a sense, they were facing the second Queen. And that was precisely why he was filled with so much dread. As well as the fact he couldn't help but ogle the woman's body.
To make matters worse, his passing glances did not go unnoticed by the redhead. Not only did she notice it, but she also commented out loud about it! His eyes widened a bit, cheeks turning a rosy hue that almost matched the shade of his own magic. Wait, did she just say he needed to ask-no! No he couldn't just ask his cousin's friend's relative something like that! Not just that, she was a general! It had to be a joke! It was definitely a joke... unless... no, there was no point in risking it! "Stupid, stupid brain!" Michail screamed within his own head.
Pierce brought up an irrelevant point that Michail did not really hear, as his brain was focused on another matter entirely, nor did he hear Victoria's answer. However, even if he heard Cooper's concern, he would have answered something along the same lines. They would not always be so lucky and get to fight opponents who were their equal or weaker than they were. Against a stronger opponent, teamwork would be crucial, and strategies changed.
Michail, thankfully, was used to working in teams. However, what he was not used to doing was working with others when Waylynn wasn't involved. Furthermore, he only knew how to play the role of the rearguard. The primary issue at large here, however...
was that he was a massive simp.
It wasn't until his eyes took notice of the sword that manifested in Victoria's hands did he realize that the fight had started. Realizing that he had spaced out trying to decide on if he should ask or not, he didn't have time. Immediately, the Ravencrest shot one of his weaker, albeit effective spells: Blood Magic: Very Very Crazy Arrow Go.
Six projectiles were shot out in front of him, crimson in color and visually took the appearance of blunt arrows. Each one would barely place a dent in the general's mana skin should they land at all, but Michail knew that these wouldn't be enough to actually stop the general. Most likely, she would dodge them all. And for that reason, Michail cast another spell:
"Blood Creation Magic: Hyper Mega Deluxe Crimson Bird!"
In addition to the main golem cast by this spell, four more accompanied it, for a total of four. The birds were crimson but looked like a Raven -- a testament to Michail's love of his family at large. Each one took to the skies, hovering above Michail and Pierce ten meters above the two. They weren't doing anything yet, but the second Victoria drew closer to the two Ravencrest, Michail ordered them to all rush her. In addition, if the birds themselves were under attack, they were to rush her.
Artillery Support: Those with this perk can reduce the required control it takes to produce an extra ammo by 5.
Description: Despite Michail's... bizarre... naming convention, the purpose of this Spell is quite simple, befitting of its rank. Upon the Spell's activation, a single arrow like projectile will be shot out towards the opponent, a deep crimson in color--blood, in other words. It exists to push a target(s) back, rather than to impale. Upon contact with a target, it bursts. Michail excels in long-range combat, and thus keeping opponents away from him is his top priority.
Due to Artillery Support, for every 5 [CON] he has, he can make additional projectiles. In addition, for every ten points in [POW], he can push a target(s) back an additional five meters should the attack successfully make contact with a person, with a base 2 meters for Junior, with an impact that can be described as "blunt", causing some pain. By sustaining the Spell, he has the option of reforming these "arrows" to strike again in the following round.
Blood Creation Magic: Hyper Mega Deluxe Crimson Bird Element: Blood Rank: Junior Size: Up to 2m Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Type of Golem: Predator Applicable Perks: Ease of Creation Description: Blood Creation Magic: Hyper Mega Deluxe Crimson Bird and Blood Creation Magic: Super Cool Ultra Crimson Beast were inspired by Michail when he saw the Black Bull's Chisana in action. He thought to himself, "I can do that, too." And so he went to work training so that he could create golems after the dungeon, refusing to be bested when it comes to producing quantity in magic, but also respecting the notion of letting others fight for him instead of having to do it himself. Something he oddly never considered before.
The golem takes the form of a solidified raven, clad in blood instead of its usual black color. It seems that it constantly drips blood, thus giving away its position when flying, but Michail cares little for that. What he cares more about is that he can use these for distractive purposes while he himself remains hidden, allowing his enemy to fixate on the incoming quantity of enemies and thus allow for sneak attacks. Normally, a golem user would only be able to make additional golems per 10 [CON] they possess. However, due to Michai's talent for producing quantity over quality, he is able to ease up on this, instead being allowed to make more dependent on his own rank. As a Junior golem, he can never make more than five additional golems per usage of the spell, however. In addition, though these golems can be used for the purpose of travel, they cannot hold more than one person at a time, and their speed will be lowered to 5m/s for said purpose. It fights using its beak, talons, and other methods of fighting that would be typical of a bird, including picking up prey of up to 200 pounds a few feet off the ground and dropping them. In addition, it is able to send very limited amounts of data to the caster such as when its in combat, if it defeats an enemy, and if itself is defeated via telepathy to the caster.

Cooper followed Arata and Waylynn to the training area he had already been steering on a plan in his head it would be a matter of how long they could last they had time to set up traps, plan or anything like that. Cooper wanted to use this or it was more like he had to with the help of Waylynn he was sure that they could at least get some sort of advantage on Arata. He observed the battlefield that would be their dance hall making notes of the terrain, weather, the current mood and even the clothes of everyone the smallest detail may be able to help get a read of what could happen. It was at times like this when Coopers' mind was racing with ideas he felt almost comfortable but he looked at Arata and knew he was outclassed fear kicked in it made him wonder if his own brother had ever felt like this.
Cooper took a deep breath and walked over to Waylynn talking in a lowered voice. "My dear cousin I think I have an idea." Cooper picked up a stick a began swiftly drawing in the dirt "This X is Arata. This Circle is you and the Square is me." if ever Waylynn stopped Cooper or asked a question he would have been more than happy to indulge her. "The base of the plan is rather simple if you set up traps to secure an area he may be able to fall back to at first a home base if you will. When the battle commences starting with some light attacks probing for reactions get an idea of what defense that will be thrown up." Cooper stops and thinks to himself for a second its quite possible that this idea could back farther instead of Arata defending he would go on the attack as a response but cooper didn't really have any other plan other than fall back. Part of him hopped Waylynn would pick up on it and recommend something. "After we have an idea of what we're up against I will stay back keeping an eye on any illusions or tricky Arata will throw up keeping you informed on top of that I will also provide support magic to make your attacks more potent." He took a step back. "You my dear cousin will rush Arata down in a display of powerful magic it will be a fantastic display." he gives an almost goading laugh. "Of course I am more than open to suggestions you do know your powers better than me, though I do think being on the offensive will be more benefiting than being on the defensive in this case allowing ourselves to be overwhelmed with Arata shadow magic may prove hard to come back from." Coopers face shifts slightly as almost a thousand doubts hit him all at once. Did he even know what he was on about?
Magic items research parties and tricks were his areas of knowledge not battle and it's not like you can read a book and gain experience in combat. On one hand if this plan is even semi-successful he won't have to take such a huge hit to his pride, on the other hand, if the plan fails then I'm sure he will be told everything under the sun how he could improve in short it was a win-win for Cooper. Though he was really considering building a weapon the lack of offensive spells is much more of a hindrance than he realized against an opponent who has more than two brain cells.

Waylynn really was hoping that she could figure out how to eek out some sort of win in this situation but the experience gap was large enough that she wouldn't be surprised if the shadow mage had already cast spells that she simply couldn't see. It seems that Alexander was about to learn something important, perhaps if she were a bit more prepared she would be envious of the chance but as far as she could tell he was simply set up to be on the receiving end of an even more painful lesson. Well it wasn’t her problem right now, Arata was.
She tried not to react when he suggested that they set up traps but when Cooper echoed the sentiment she nearly winced. ”Just who has been bragging about my training in that area, I could have sworn that I didn’t tell anyone and it’s not as if I’ve been going at it in missions.” She sighed of course ‘someone’ was spreading it around but maybe she was just revealing herself and Cooper had been guessing. It didn’t matter now, she’d all but admitted it out loud. ”I’m starting now then, brace yourself for when it starts.” The spirit pumped it’s tiny fist into the air.
”yeh let’s do this.” Waylynn started at the area cooper had designated and waved her hand over the spots, the magic circles faded almost as soon as they appeared, not that she expected them to go unnoticed by a competent sensory mage but she could at the very least use them to eat up attention or help Cooper stay out of the actual fight.
She brushed her hair to the side, it was frustrating knowing that she was likely outclassed, almost surely even but she wanted to put on a good showing. She looked back to make sure Cooper was in the right position. She whipped her grimoire forward now and cast the spell as fast as she could, her newest spell and the one that she considered had the highest chance of successfully hitting. ”Salena Bomb!” Waylynn collected the ball of salt and sent it forward trying to detonate it around ten meters from Arata the semi-circle covering the whole twenty meters beyond that point, hopefully enough of an area to catch him inside of.
This posed it’s own problems obviously, such a large maneuver cost her line of sight in any case but it was the only way she could think to hit if he was an illusion, then again if that were the case she could have easily been aiming at the wrong area entirely. ”And to be clear, no I don’t think we’ll have hard feelings about the injuries, if nothing else I’ll get to test my Healing Magic.”

Alexander was thinking on how he would handle Ferdinand. Once hand on his grimoire before being interrupted. He looked towards Lydia as he heard what she said. He would be fighting her instead. That was truly an horrifying thought., Having to fight such a powerhouse even with the handicap he knew he stood no chance. His mind was calm though, not due to being cocky or arrogance but excitement as he smiled softly.
"It is a True honor to fight you, I am aware then even with that handicap I stand not a chance against you. But If you see it fit for me to fight against you instead. I will not doubt you intentions in the slightest. I shall fight you with all I got. I am know I will lose however, that won't stop me. Within Loss is Knowledge and within Victory is arrogance. To climb to the top one must experience the fall first. Or so I read in a philosophy book before"
He would say as he took out his grimoire in preparation. He had no experience in real combat against someone of his own family. Having spent most of his life studying and training his body, he was indeed a hermit as didn't know how to react to any and all situations. He had only met Lydia a few times in that past, and even then most of his family rarely even seen him before now. His eyes were calm and filled with determination as the way he spoke, He truly believed in learning from everything he possibly can, even the most cruel defeats can prosper new knowledge. He was prepared to Fight with all he got even if it ended with him breaking a few limbs. With grimoire in hand as he opened it/ He only knew a few spells of junior level but in this battle he would need to use all of them. He eyed her sword for a moment as he had always wanted an actual sword in which he can wield beside the one made from his magic. He soon looked Lydia right in the eye. As a sign that he was ready. Taking a swordsman stance. As if he was about to draw a blade. his Grimoire glowing green as it floated next to him.
[attr="class","florencetext"] As Lydia looked towards Alexander to see what he would say or do the vice captain would listen as Hania spoke up. She would let out a small sigh as had already asked if anyone had problems with the training for the day. Fine Noire won't have to hold back with her magic. Let's see just how much stronger you've gotten. Lydia's gaze would of course stay focused on Alexander the whole time. As the youngest Ravencrest spoke she would just shake her head. That's only half true you can learn nothing from defeat and you can also learn from victory. [break][break] It just depends on how you look at things. The wind mage had already made a huge mistake. The fight had already begun and Lydia was giving Alexander a chance to cast a spell before she actually started her attack. However the blonde haired mage would only take a sword stance as if he was waiting for Lydia to make the first move. In most cases that would have been a good choice so that you could see what the enemy could do. In this case however Lydia's magic and power was already known and it was clear she was stronger in everyway. Lydia would then take out her sword before reinforcing it with her light magic so it could match magical attacks. [break][break] The head of the Ravencrest family would then rush forward appearing in front of Alexander before he more than likely knew what was going on. She would then thrust her sword at his chest that would deal junior damage if it struck him and most likely knock him back from the force of the thrust. However she wouldn't stop there as if he did get pushed back she would use her speed to keep up. She would then try and kick him at full force and speed in the side which would knock him to the side and most likely down while dealing intermediate damage to him. This time however the vice captain wouldn't follow if her attacks hit. She would just speak to him in a cold tone. I'm done playing games. Hurry up and cast a spell to fight before I actually get pissed off. [break][break] Hania and Noire [break] Noire would listen as Hania spoke to her. It was almost hard to believe that the heir to the Ravencrest family was gone for two months. It wasn't that she didn't notice he was gone it was more of the fact with everything that happened it had been a busy two months. Not only that he was a magic knight just like Lydia and most of the others in the family. So the Raven haired general was use to him being gone for a few days. "Maybe she's having me go easy on you since you just got back." Noire had of course known Lydia for years but even she wasn't sure what went on in the women's head. [break][break] As Hania poked her cheek the steel mage would blink in suprise. "I wasn't pouting I was speaking the truth." It seemed that Hania wanted to fight Noire without her holding back. She of course didn't mind after all it just made it that much more fun. Besides it wasn't like the ice mage wasn't use to fighting her at full power. All they needed now was for Lydia to give the okay to fight without holding back which the glass mage did. As Hania spoke about training his spirits partial dive soon Noire's eyes would light up. [break][break] "Well make sure I'm the first person you training against when you do it'll be so much fun. You know you should also tell what happened when you were gone she'll find out anyway ya know." Seeing as they were given the okay Noire would make a gap between the two of them. "Well lets get started then." Without waiting she would throw the axe currently in her hand at Hania. This was of course to distract him from her main attacks however if the attack did manage to hit he would take intermediate damage. [break][break] She would then take her actual axe of her back coating it in her actual magic before running at the white haired Ravencrest. Once she reached him she would slash at him for grand damage before trying to kick his feet out from under him knocking him to the ground. [break][break] Michail and Pierce [break] Victoria would just keep walking towards the two Ravencrest she was to fight as she waited for them to react. After all it wasn't like she could just fight them from afar as her magic requried her to be at least within three meters of them. That was honestly what made it a pain to fight Michail as unlike her he was a ranged mage. Pierce she had never really saw much of so she wasn't sure what his magic could to. However it seemed that even as she was getting closer to them the coral mage would do nothing. However Michail on the other hand would go on the attack firing six blood arrows at her. The tips of the arrows however seemed to be blunt which confused the general. She was of course able to dodge or just outright destroy them with her own magic. [break][break] At this point she was no longer walking towards them. She would pick up the pace and actually start running towards the two of them. Michail however had already summoned his golems which didn't attack her outright. Which meant he was most likely using them as a offensive defense meaning that they would only attack when she got close enough. This was of course a problem as it would give him time to move out of range. Well it would have if Victoria didn't summon five more of the same sword. Once she got within three meters or the golems got within three meters of her she would send the five new swords at the golems. [break][break] The swords would get rid of the golems unless the blood mage ordered them to dodge. However he would have to worry about Victoria first as she was in range. She would first push Pierce out of the way as she didn't plan on fighting someone frozen in place. She would then throw her last sword at Michail before following it up with a left hook to his face if he was still in range. [break][break] Waylynn and Copper [break] Arata would watch as Copper and Waylynn made a plan to fight him. He of course wasn't able to hear what they were talking about. Not that it mattered much as he would see the plan they were drawling. He of course wouldn't try to stop it but he would speak to them as Waylynn was making her traps. "That's not a bad plan however you shouldn't have drew it while I was watching." As the salt mage finished cast her traps he would cast his own spell at the same time as her second one. He would then send an orb of shadow towards the two of them. [break][break] As it reached them it would blow up into shards of shadows taking out her traps. This of course didn't leave him much time to counter her second spell. So instead he would let the attack hit him. Taking the damage he would also feeling the attack lower his durability not that it mattered much. However he didn't account for the blast knocking him back twenty for meters. It was a pain but he was the fastest of the generals. He would then use the fact Waylynn had lost sight of him against her and would rush forward towards the two of them. He would try to tap Waylynn on the shoulder. "We'll see just however well you're healing can keep up." [break][break] He would then try to kick her in the back of the knee taking her to the ground. He would then use another spell this time it was a shadow dagger and he would throw it at Copper. He would then rush the coral peacock mage aiming to grab the man by the arm and throw her to the ground before aimming a punch at the mans gut. He would of course use his sensory to keep an eye on Waylynn to counter her next attack.

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝I hear a song of woe shadowing our past in sorrow.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania remained silent, he ran over the two months he had been absent from the families estate. It wasn't as if he had gone no contact as he sent a letter to inform Lydia where he was lest people be sent to look for him. He didn't need that kind of grief in his life, not to mention he liked going into his library and study. Then there was the fact he would also have needed to deal with Winter but he was pretty sure he had to deal with her anyway. His eyes went to Noire as she spoke to him "Perhaps, but I wouldn't believe so." he said thoughtfully, he didn't know what went through his sister's mind, but he wouldn't believe that she would ease him back into training given the type of people she knew he had been around for the last two months.
"If anything I would believe it is because we are around so many of the others." he continued, it was a reasonable conclusion as to when he normally trained with the generals it was only himself and those he was training with. There was also the fact that he knew that a letter would have been sent requesting his specialized incense during the time he was out cold. There was going to be questioned as to why he hadn't been the one who sent the request, then there was also the fact that he didn't request for the teas and such that often were used in unison with them. He wasn't looking forward to that in all honesty but he knew it was one that would happen after the training session most likely.
"I think it is to protect them..." he knew his training had been more intense than most if not all of theirs but it was to prepare him for his lives path within the family. "You were still pouting, it was kind of cute." he said with a smile, he wasn't interested in the woman romantically but more like a sister. At this point, the generals were as much members of his family as Lydia was or at least that's how he had viewed them. He was raised with them and they had played large parts within his life as he grew and even to this day and he hoped into the future. "Thank you Lyd." he said looking to Noire moving a decent amount of space from her, he needed to see just how much stronger he had gotten in his absence, there was also the fact he didn't want to insult his partner by being able to fight at his full strength while she was held at a severe handicap.
He wanted a fair fight, okay he knew she was stronger than himself but he was growing and quickly, it was something that his gifted memory afforded him. He kept his ears open at what was going on between Lydia and Alexander, it was clear that the youngest of his cousin truly was clueless. 'He is about to get a harsh reality check and one that is honestly needed.' he thought to himself his eyes remaining on Noire, he knew better than taking his eyes off the woman as where she may have been the youngest of the four generals it didn't make her any less capable than the other three. This was something he knew first hand a calm smile appeared on his face.
Seeing the other's eyes light up as he explained his plans to train in spirit diving with Amostia, he was trying to figure out who was happier about it, Noire or Amostia it honestly was a close call in his opinion "I promise, I will request a gauntlet the day after so I will train with the four of you at the same time." It was rare for him to request a gauntlet instead of it being placed on his training schedule but it wasn't completely unheard of. "I believe that conversation will come up after training, incense was requested while I was gone and not by my own hand." he said quietly, it wasn't something he honestly wanted to speak loudly about. He wasn't too sure just how much his cousins knew about his conditions, he and Lydia had, had a heart to heart the day before he left to collect a rare bottle of wine he knew she liked as a thank you.
He told her things about his past and she told him a secret about herself, they were more alike than he originally thought and that gave him a sense of ease that he hadn't felt in a long time. "I agree, we're burning sunlight and we both have other things we could be doing." he said with a soft chuckle, his stance was as relaxed as it had always been. He expected her to throw the axe and quickly moved to the left before dashing forward. He was bringing the fight towards her for once, normally he would attempt to stay at a range for safety reasons but he was having none of it now. The axe still caught his clothing barely missing his arm, he took note that he moved too late and stored it for later. 'Timing is off.' he thought frustrated at himself, it was like learning something he should already know and it irritated him.
As he ran he gripped his hands a tanto appearing in each his eyes focused on his target, it was clear that the world around him didn't exist in that instant. That wasn't to say that he wasn't fully aware as to what was going on just that he wasn't giving it his main priority. Noire was his opponent and so she was the one she concentrated on fully, he used his sensory out just so he could be fully aware of any other incoming attacks, accidents happened after all. The tantos were twenty centimetres long and looked like they had a black tassel at their hilts, the blades themselves seemed to be almost see-through but the blades almost gave off wisps of black icy mist. Seeing the attack coming he jumped at the right second, he was still faster than her, getting around her he done a twist attempting to slash at her back.
He was unsure if the attack would land but if it did it would senior rank damage to her as well as tear through the fabric of her dress. "Fair is fair." he would say if the clothing alone was damaged. At the end of the day, he was close enough that she would need to disengage the skirmish as he was within the range where her axe was useless but his tanto could still work perfectly. It was true that that axes and the like had their uses but only if the enemy was out of arms reach but they were pretty useless for how close he was to her and they would both know it. There were of course exceptions like spears that could double as a quarterstaff, axes weren't as diverse.

It seemed as though Pierce had simply gone dark. Was it fear, or something else? In any case, that only made it that much harder on the Ravencrest who was used to working in teams. The fact that this was about to turn into a one-on-one fight was made even worse, but he had no time to worry about complaints.
From the moment that Victoria began closing the gap, Michail moved outwardly. This wasn't an opponent whom he could idle around with. He was going to have to use as much effort as he possibly could muster. Anything less than three hundred percent of his best was going to surely result in a humiliating defeat, and even then it still likely wouldn't be enough. However...
As expected, Victoria effortlessly dodged his arrows. But that wasn't the only trick up his sleeve. As she was drawing closer, she eliminated the golems that were coming closer. Five swords for five golems. Either her control wasn't that high, or she was still holding back. Either way, he didn't really have the time to dedicate too much to thinking. He had to keep his distance, and the best way to do that would be with a barrage.
The arrows might have been destroyed, but they were still recastable. Once more, as she shot out swords to fend off the golems, Michail utilized his Spell, hoping that he would be able to at least hit her once to knock her back and keep the distance. Though she was a superior mage in all aspects, if she got close enough, it was over. There wasn't even a chance he could pretend he'd be able to keep up.
As a precaution in case she got too close, Michail readied his current strongest defensive spell. It wouldn't mean much when faced with someone who was much stronger, but it would at least allow him to stay in the fight a bit longer, ideally. But there was one more thing he had to do. Most likely, she had managed to avoid the arrows, and the golems were all, and now that he had his armor. He wasn't as close now, but he was at least still more than an arms reach away--
A sword pierced his armor.
One hit. His armor at least would give him a few more rounds, but a bit of desperation while moving around, he cast his improved sword spell. Though he wished not to use it, it was currently the best thing he could do right now. The distance between them wouldn't last, but if he could at least land this hit in, it might cause her a bit of stun. Victoria, the Empress of the Sword, being hit by an opposing sword spell? As fast as she was, the distance between them wasn't as vast as it was before. Surely, she'd struggle to react to this blow...!
This was why Michail was able to create up to three more, each one meant to cut off escape by gauging her own size thus far. Perhaps being a simp had its advantages after all...!!
The golems had served as a decent distraction, but he wasn't out of the woods yet. He had only been lucky to use his armor before that sword hit, coming at him when he was thinking of his next move after the fact. Ugh, why couldn't he have Waylynn? This would be so much simpler...

The situation for Cooper was not good he spent so much time thinking of a plan that he didn't realize that he had reviled it right in front of the enemy this is what you would call a huge mistake and he would soon pay for it. He watched in awe and fear as the deference crumbled and the speed that he was attacked with left him dazed and confused. Cooper felt his mana skin shake as the shadowy knife made contact he tried to quickly retreat but felt his arm grabbed and yanked over Arata's shoulder. Coopers body hit the ground and he grunted, however, he saw the punch winding up he would not lay idly he knew he couldn't withstand too many blows. Rolling to the left the punch clips Coopers back as his grimoire pages flipped and a card flies out it spins into his hand, soon after he places onto the ground it expands out into a large card Cooper says slightly out of breath "Balducci Levitation." The card floats up slightly off the ground and keeping his momentum from his roll keeps heading left from Arata trying to gain as much distance as he could. The then keeps flipping a a king of clover flies out of his deck "Deal Power" he announces. The card speeds towards Waylynn attaching itself to her shoulder as a sense of power would flow through her. Cooper was watching Arata getting ready to try and avoid another attack incoming he knew that another strong hit would put himself out of this he was trying to think how her could make an opening for Waylynn but as it stood there was no clear weakness nor advantage he could make Cooper ended up feeling more useless then ever before and felt as if he was making a complete fool of himself.
[attr="class","piercetext"] This is bold text use it for dialogue or whatever. This template uses break [break][break] The battle had begun, however Pierce wasn't prepared in the slightest. His mind was racing as the woman stepped forward. It was as if a nightmare had come to light. His body began to freeze up and he felt his strength begin to drain from his body. 'This. This isn't normal magic' Pierce thought to himself. The blade that Victoria had pulled from her grimoire. The sword with a graceful rose scent. Pierce uncontrollably let the smell invade his nose, however he didn't have much time to think as the event began to really start up. [break][break] Victoria's grimoire began to glow with a fury the coral mage had never faced before. The closest recollection he had to the feeling was a time when he was at sea in the middle of a massive thunder storm. The sounds of rain slamming against the deck of his ship forcing his body downward, and the cruel cold cutting winds slapped against his face with a painful searing sensation. 'T-This' Pierce thought to himself, and before he knew it the situation had changed. It was as if he was sheep looking towards a hungry wolf. [break][break] As shameful as it was to admit. Pierce couldn't move, his body covered in a cold sweat as a dark shadow seemed to cast itself over Pierces eyes. Was it because he was weak? Or maybe he lacked the courage to fight. Regardless of what he thought he felt he truly felt hopeless. He wasn't a front line mage, and given the situation he was most definitely the one who shouldn't be standing face to face with the opponent, however what could he do when Michail had requested such a simple request. Neither of them knew what they had just signed up for after all as a brilliant light shown from both Michail and Victoria's grimoires. The match had just begun as golems crafted from pure blood began to form around Michail, and without a moments notice swords formed around Victoria eluding a rather dominant aura. [break][break] In a moment the battle had started, and just as quickly it seemed to end. The blood creations that Michail had summoned quickly got mowed down by five blades. A single blade piercing into each target sending the blood creations out of control. Coagulated blood quickly before it splattered against the ground causing Pierces eyes to widen as his mind drifted to the far off seas once more. This time his mind escaping to the point he began believing he was once again on the seas. [break][break] And in that moment Pierce would feel a hand press against his chest pushing him roughly, however the Sea lord cracked a wicked smile. "Haha. Lass if you just wanted to feel up this pirate you could have asked!" Pierce would scream as his left hand moved at his fastest speeds. Grabbing the locket from his pocket and launching it whilst sending his mana into it. The locket would be meant to fly beside Victoria's head. If she didn't notice the once frozen man the pocket would activate creating a beast directly in front of her as she tried to pass Pierce. [break][break] The Pirate would also further his plant quickly kicking off from the ground his body still shaken, however now only due to the sea legs he'd adapted to with his long life off land. The Pirate didn't falter however. He was more sure than ever that he needed to at least stop the girls speech or movement. Otherwise the swords could just pierce him instead of some creation of mana. With that in his mind Pierce moved forward unsheathing his blade a thin black shadow casting over his bright eyes as he'd move his arm in as he'd send his blade in a diagonal fashion towards the mages backside had she not given him any face, however if she'd turn around she'd be met with a bewildered looking Pierce. The blond mage not sure whether or not to hold back had finally decided Victoria was none other than a threat to his existence. "Now then where were we" Would escape Pierce's lips if his blade would have grazed over the girls armor, however it was a rather far off dream for either him or Michail to actually land a lethal blow. [break][break]
Combat Summary
[break] tl;dr After being pushed to the side from Victoria. Pierce would take upon his Sea Lord persona completely overcoming his initial fears. After being pushed to the side he'd throw his magical pocket watch after imbuing it with his magic and throwing it in front of Victoria. The large ten foot long boat was intended to not only block Victoria's path, but as it also floats off any surface it should in theory also block her sight (Silas's choice). After the boat would begin to form Pierce would follow up his initial move with an impolite strike to the warrior princess's back side as she'd initially decided he wasn't worth her time due to his frozen state. It really did feel pointless planning in the first place but that was more going through the motions, if she were going to train for her traps or proper strategy it wouldn't be a rush job right before the fight started. No; Planning, good planning took time and she had already expected to pay for it by the time she felt the tap on her shoulder. The kick indeed brought her to the ground but she got knocked down enough times to know how to pivot back to facing. She let go of the traps, regardless of him being able to break them she was just wasting her time using them if he could sense them so easily, setting them had ended up being pointless with the fight going as mobile as it was now that Cooper was trying to fly around. Cooper's spell would help a little but even her opening spell didn't really dent him. There was only one thing to do then, be a pain in the ass long enough. "How very predictable targeting the weaker support mage first. Not that it doesn't work." "Don't just comment on it, Do something!" Of course she was already planning to but the Spirit would prompt her anyway.
"Cooper, back towards me." If he wasn't already headed in her direction she hoped he would turn so that Arata would be semi behind him for her plan to make any headway. Shouting spell names here, while cool, was counter productive she cast the Intermediate Salena Scythe and hurled it close to the ground to fly under Cooper's levitating card and hopefully hit Arata in the leg. As an additional measure of drawing attention she did decided to name her Junior spells, more of distractions really but if they connected all the better. "Salt Shot! Salt Sickle!" One from either side not nearly as fast but hopefully with the addition of announcing them it would draw attention. She hadn't raised higher than a kneeling position, since she had gotten kicked but it didn't matter for casting.

When the scythes hit they leave behind salted wounds, reducing the control of their magic and increasing the power of Waylynn's own magic. This can also suppress or prevent Buffs and Healing may even be reversed if Waylynn has the appropriate power in a clash. Waylynn can produce additional blades in accordance with ammo rules. If Multiple targets are debuffed the overall debuff is lowered by -1. Due to Staggering Curse each round the curse increases by 1
Name of Spell: Salt Sickle Elemental Type: Salt Rank & Spell Type: Junior- Attack/Hex-Curse Creation Range & Speed: 25 meters 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 activate/5 sustain Stats Effected: +2 Power/-4 Power Applicable Perks: Apex Predator, Staggering curse Description: Waylynn manifests a sickle blade made of salt with a sinister Hex attached to it which she controls with her mana, on the first target it damages it sinks in and becomes a curse that siphons the enemies Power and funnels a bit of it back to Waylynn. The longer the Hex stays affixed the more power it will drain from it's target (Up to 3 more Power after three rounds) although the power waylynn gets will remain unaffected. Waylynn can create additional blades in accordance with ammo rules however the debuff will loose potency (debuffing 1 less per additional target)
Salt Shot Elemental Type: Salt Rank & Spell Type: Junior- Attack Creation/Hex Range & Speed: 25 Meters 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 Initial / 5 Sustain Stats Effected: - 4 Durability Applicable Perks: Apex Predator, Staggering Curse Description: This spell compacts a ball of salt roughly the size of a fist and launches it at a target, with higher control Waylynn is able to create multiple shots (as per Ammo rules). The balls of salt can leave a nasty bruise or scrape and knock people back 2 meters (plus 5 meters for every 10 power Waylynn has). The shots burst and leave behind a hex that debuffs durability of the opponent's spells.

Alexander soon felt the her sword striking his chest, using this as an opputinity he was sent flying backwards. Soon able to recover from the junior level strike. As he was flying back he would hit the ground with his fist, Which he used to dodge the second attack but just barely.
From that position he would soon gather wind into his hand, taking the form of a Sword. Swinging it in midair, a slash of wind that would deal junior level damage was sent at lydia. And as soon he put his foot on the ground after a tumble. He pointed his finger at her. Wind gathering and spinning as he sent out a Pointed twister like attack that got bigger the farther it went. Using these two attacks in hopes to atleast deal some damage. He was aware he wouldn't get to do alot but He was gonna try his hardest.
He had the power of wind after all, Eventually it could become strong but for now, he had to use the hand he was dealt with. Additionally he would Snap his fingers using his free hand. He would be enveloped in a healing wind that would recover his wounds, Being a junior level spell he was able to heal the damage he had just taken. This wind would stay wrapping around him till he had no more mana

[attr="class","florencetext"] Lydia's first attack as she expected had hit the wind mage sending him back. However, it seemed the force that knocked him back managed to protect him from her second attack as he somehow managed to dodge it. At the end of the day however it didn't matter as the vice-captain was only getting faster as the fight went on. Soon she would move too fast for him to even have enough time to react. As Alexander sent his first attack towards the vice-captain she would easily sidestep the attack. As the second one came at her Lydia would simply cut the spell with her sword that was covered in her magic. It was interesting that he had gotten up but not moved to engage Lydia from close range or long range. [break][break] The younger Ravencrest kind of just stood there. His healing spell of course didn't go unnoticed and could be a problem if she let it run freely. However, she didn't plan on allowing that. Her grimoire would open as she cast a spell and a spear of light appeared next to her. She would then send it flying towards him at thirty meters a second. If struck by the spell it would deal no damage to him. However, it would vanish leaving a ruin like hard on his body. It would also stop his healing spell. In fact, if he kept it going it would actually damage him. The glass mage would then rush him again aiming a slash at his side. [break][break] However, that was a faint and the real attack would be a kick to his legs to knock him down and deal intermediate damage. If the kick landed she would follow up with another kick as he was falling. It would once again deal intermediate damage. The force would also send him flying back a meter or two.
[break][break]
Hania and Noire
[break]
As Hania spoke the Raven-haired girl would listen and nod along. It made sense that it was for the other Ravencrest members as they wouldn't even last a minute if the other generals didn't hold back. This however meant she had to hold back as well to make it fair. Well had to until the request not to hold back was allowed. She would frown as he once again claimed she was pouting but there was no point in fighting over it. Noire of course didn't mind the second part. While others might have thought it was flirting she'd known the heir to the family long enough to know that wasn't the case. [break][break] The steel mage was surprised that Hania said he would request the gauntlet after his spirit dive training. However, she would also let out a sigh. "I guess that means I won't get a one-on-one fight." As the actual fight started she wasn't surprised that the ice mage managed to avoid the attack. Noire of course took note that he moved fast than her now. While it wasn't fast enough to make it so she couldn't react in time it also was enough of a difference to make it so she couldn't avoid the attack without her dress getting cut on the side. It was clear he was trying to fight up close to make her ax useless which was a smart move. [break][break] After all her ax was what she was the most skilled without. However, Noire wouldn't give any ground. She would instead throw her ax to the side before making a steel sword in her right hand. She would then go for a slash at her chest in hopes of getting him to dodge or try and block it with his own weapons. The raven-haired girl would then and grab one of her arms using her stronger strength to throw him to the ground for intermediate damage before following it up with a punch to the chest for intermediate damage once again.
[break][break]
Michail and Pierce
[break]
Victoria's first set of attacks would work perfectly as she managed to not only take out the golems but her sword itself struck the blood mage. However, she didn't get a chance to follow up with her punch. It seemed that Pierce managed to break out of whatever was holding her in place and would throw a necklace past her face? However, before the boat appeared Michail would attack once again sending three blood swords at her in hopes of cutting off her escape. Victoria would just summon another sword spell this time giving off a lavender smell. She would summon two more of the same sword to counter two of the swords coming at her before using the one in her hand to overpower the last one. [break][break] She would then use her first sword spell to cut past the boat blocking her from the blood mage before it came back to her side. As much as she would have liked to deal with Michail first the coral mage was engaging her in close combat. She would use the lavender sword to block his strike at her. The rose sword would then be sent at him dealing junior damage if it hit and knocking him back ten meters. If that worked she would then turn her focus back to Michail rushing him. However, she wouldn't try and attack with the sword just yet. She would instead try and grabble him locking down his movement and pinning him to the ground. She managed to take him to the ground she would then lock her legs around his own. [break][break] However, she wouldn't stop there as she could summon a dome of swords around the two of them cutting the coral mage off from them. "You can yield now or we can do this the painful way."
[break][break]
Waylynn and Copper
[break]
Arata's attacks would land on both Ravencrest and as Waylynn made her comment the shadow mage couldn't help but smirk. "Well of course after all it only makes sense to take the support out first. Don't worry however Lady Waylynn I won't leave you out." It seemed Copper would do his best to get away from Arata which was smart. The man was going to follow him. However, the salt mage would send her own attacks at her again. This time however she would dodge the first attack thanks to his sensory seeing it coming even as it passed under Cooper's spell. [break][break] The second two would get dealt with by his shadow dagger. Assuming Waylynn hadn't gotten up just yet he would rush her before bringing a knee up to her face dealing intermediate damage if stuck. He would then follow up by grabbing the back of her head and slamming it into the ground dealing intermediate damage once again and hopefully dazing her. His focus would then turn to Cooper as she would run at the card mage trying to grab him off the card he was floating on before putting him in a chokehold. The shadow mage would hold him in it until one of three things happened. Those of course being he yields falls unconscious, or Waylynn forces Arata to break his hold.

The sword mage Veronica however had no intentions of letting Pierces magical item get in her way. The smell of freshly blossomed lavender began to fill the air. Pierce noticed it quickly since the majority of his time spent was smelling the salty sea and the body odor of the other occupants of his ships. This smell however he'd smelt numerous times when he bedded various nobles within Raque. None the less the coral mage instantly grew more aggressive as Veronica swiped her sword with no real challenge, and tore apart the vessel Pierce had just made. That wouldn't have caused him to stop his attack from prior, however it did give him a moment to realize that Michail was a blood mage as she defended against three of his strikes letting the blood splatter around them. 'Blood... But from where' Pierce thought as his blade swung. Veronica had already realized he wasn't going to back down a single bit as he swung full force. [break][break] The blades would connect as a crack would spider down Pierce's sword quickly before the force blew apart the sword. The sword now only having about three inches of a blade, and hilt. The initial force would have sent Pierce back nearly ten meters, however due to the blade shattering and absorbing most of the strike itself before shattering the mage would only be sent back five meters, and quickly come to as he notice Veronica dart towards Michail. 'Is she fucking serious?' the sea lord though his face flushed with rage. 'She's still looking down on me?' Pierce though as his eyes darkened and he darted towards her. He had finally realized that Michail was his only chance at winning. In other words his blood magic was the only thing powerful enough to stop their opponent even for a moment. [break][break] As the distance closed Pierce would tear the coat from his body throwing it in front of himself nearly three meters from the pair, however just as Pierce was making ground he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. Veronica had finished her spell and a sword quickly shot forward. The coat did nothing to stop it, however it seemed to miss its original target stabbing through his shoulder cleanly, and as his coat finally his the ground Michail and Veronica would notice the coral mage wasn't even able to properly use his mana skin and the magic sword Veronica had spawned was the only think keeping him from bleeding even more, however from his left shoulder down to his hand a thick layer of blood covered his arm. What Michail and Veronica wouldn't have seen was Pierce literately push the blade through his arm himself. [break][break] After a few moments of trying to look strong the Pirates teeth chattered as the dome came into view. "YOU FUCKING BITCH!" Pierce screamed spit flying from his mouth "I CAN'T EVEN USE MAGIC AND YOU STILL HAVE THE GALL TO HIDE BEHIND THIS FUCKING SHIELD!" Pierce screamed so loud the entire platform could have heard him. HIs eyes were dark, and his breath ragged as he fought to keep his eyes opened. His right hand spun the hilt in his hand as the blade now sat closest to his pinky. The coral mage would waste no time slamming the shattered sword against the dome. "I thought I said" Pierce muttered a bit softer. The blood loss causing him to feel even weaker. "I'm your fucking opponent" Pierce said with a cold tone attempting to keep Veronica's attention as his blade kept slamming against the dome with no effect at all. Pierce heard her speak, but he had no intention of calling it quits here. Regardless of whether or not Lydia cared, Pierce had other reasons for not backing down. [break][break] He had hoped his scene was enough to keep her attention on his as his arm quickly made a pool of blood below him. The blood pooling around him would be of use to the blood mage on the other side should the dome come down. Pierce didn't care about the training at this point either. The woman had utterly shattered both his boat and his sword. For someone to destroy a pirates vessel the Sealord wouldn't let something like that slide. "Hey... I don't have long left" Pierce said a deceptive smile "So why don't you come out, and let me see if that face is as tough as-" Pierce managed to spit out before falling to a knee. 'Fuck it's too soon' Pierce thought gritting his teeth as he turned his head upward. His eyes once weak now turned crazed, as if he only saw Veronica as a target. 'It hurts. It fucking hurts. She fucking did this' Pierce thought to himself his body tensing his eyes turning into an animalistic glare as the Coral mage just seemed to giving a death glare. He wanted more than anything to stand, but as he tried his body would constantly deny him. 'DO FUCKING SOMETHING!' Pierce screamed inside his head as the air around his swirled, and finally with a loud cracking sound a purple veil of magic covering Pierce began to form. [break][break] It was the first time Pierce had felt a mana skin. His body began to warm up as even the sword lodged inside of him was covered. 'I... Feel so warm' Pierce thought to himself. 'Why... Why am I sitting in a pool of blood... G-Get up' Pierce thought to himself weakly picking himself up. 'Not done' Pierce began to think. "I'm... Not don yet you shitty sword mage' Pierce muttered. The blade he once held falling to his side. He didn't have the strength to hold onto it anymore. He barely had the strength to turn his head upward. The sword mage had ruined his plan to help support Michail's blood spells, and now she hid behind a sword dome. The pirate was at an absolute loss for words. He didn't have the ability to move let alone dodge if another sword came barreling towards him. [break][break] The bandages covering up Pierce's body from the left side down was now drenched in blood. Had his mana skin not stopped the blood he'd have never stood up. He wasn't even sure if he was even standing. There was so much pain it was hard to determine if he'd been in a dream or in reality. His hazy vision just got blurrier and blurrier. "Get out" Pierce muttered his body pressing against the dome "Get out of there, and fight me damn it" Pierce muttered softly. His plan prior was completely ruined from the dome he couldn't just let Michail handle it himself as they were facing a nightmare in living flesh. Pierce felt a second wave of pain as his mana skin faltered and he instantly turned towards Lydia. His teeth gritting before turning back to Veronica. The coral mage wasn't about to beg the family leader to heal him since they hadn't even scuffed the armor on this generals body. Pierce had never felt so helpless as he used his weakened body to bang on the dome as if it even mattered at this point. [break][break]
Combat Summary
[break] tl;dr [break][break] Before anything I'd like to explain that Pierce doesn't know how to use his mana skin properly. Hence forth most attacks can/do hit him in the course of this training. [break] After attempting to attack Veronica. She'd break the Pirates coral vessel with a simple swing of her sword would shattered the weak boat. After that she'd go about slapping Pierce away, however her initial knock back was halved as the sword he held would shatter taking most of the impact to itself. After trying to chase Veronica he'd attempt to cover her view, however it only served to hinder him as she sent a sword at Pierce as the coat was thrown. Thinking quickly Pierce would assist the sword in stabbing all the way through in hopes that Michail the blood mage would be able to use his blood. [break] Plans seemed to change when Veronica IMMEDIATELY put up a dome. Leaving the Coral mage with a sword lodged within his body. After raging from the pain the Coral mage would bleed profusely. Trying his hardest to stand, with no avail, however only when his mana skin activated was he able to stand once more. HE's in a rather weakened state. His mana skin slightly binding the blood inside his veins, however it only helps so much as he isn't trained properly with his mana skin. At this point in time the Pirate is using what little strength that remains to pound on the dome with little to no effect. [break][break] Items Used:

Cooper acknowledged Waylynns command he diverted his card as it drifted around the momentum shifting rapidly to point him in the direction of the salt mage however spark of panic hits him as he since the string of attacks Arata releases. The card creates a trail of blue glowing lines it covering the battlefield for only a few seconds as he heads to Waylynn. However, he wasn't ready for Arata's change in priority Cooper tries to avoid but feels something grasp his leg and before he knew it the card was hurtling off in the direction Waylynn without him on top. Cooper slams in the ground his back arching in a way that can only be described as painful. His leg still gripped Cooper kicks him off before standing up he knew too well that he wasn't going to last long but thought he could at least delay him. Cooper rushed Arata throwing a few laughable swings it was embarrassing to watch as if Cooper was a squirrel charging a raging magical beast. With each swing Cooper knew further and further his like of combat experience or any real training in it is what was holding him back. Even if he landed a bunch it would do barely any damage and not change the invertible result. Cooper felt his front leg fallout beneath him as he once again came tumbling to the floor before Cooper could even roll out the way he felt the clench of his windpipes as Arata pulls him into a chock hold. Cooper stood little chance of breaking the hold yet he refuses to be taken out in such a manner he tried his best to pull Arata off once again trying to buy just a little more time. He kept trying to slam his elbow into Arata's stomach or pull free in some way but he couldn't hold out much longer and felt his vision begin fading to black "That could of gone bet..." He is cut off as the last bit of his vision fades. His spells soon came after the card dropping from the sky vanishing in a sparkle of blue the symbol on Waylynns shoulder fades the power of the spell losing it effects.

[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania had gotten ready for what was to come, it was true he had become stronger over time but he was still used to the generals holding back on him, even if it wasn't to the extent the rest of the family were currently going to be getting today. He had all but asked for the training wheels and protections to come off. It had been the first time he had requested such a thing to happen, he was unsure if he was ready for such a thing but it was too late to rescind his request. Not to mention how incompetent it would make him look. No, he was willing to deal with the path he himself had requested. It was about time he stopped having those who trained him to hold back as they did, if he wanted to become stronger he needed to find out his flaws properly.
"You know how my gauntlets go when I request them, I face you each one in a row then, in twos and finally at the same time. So, if you talk to the others I'm sure you can go first." he said calmly, he was well overdue to be pushed through one of those hellish gauntlets, luckily they only happened a few times a year to the extent he was going to be asking for his next one. She could still be the first to face him after he learned his dives but she would have to get the other three to agree to that. He noticed that where he was faster she still managed to get away with only her dress being torn by his ice tanto. "Tch." he said sucking in some air, he knew that he would have to work on that.
He knew he would never be as fast as Lydia due to the element she was born gifted with, but he wanted to get as close to that speed as possible. If he could get faster then that could be an additional person who he couldn't save previously, he knew he would never be the strongest person but that was a weakness he knew he would never really get over. The only reason he was as strong as he was was due to the bracelet he was gifted on his eighth birthday from Lydia. He shook his head he couldn't be thinking about that right now, Noire was still too powerful of a threat to take lightly. He fully expected her to throw her axe to the side, after all, it was no longer of use, he had gotten inside her defences. He made a note to look into a spell that allowed him to manipulate the floor to give him additional speed.
Seeing the attack coming, he did dodge but not as she would have expected. He didn't move to the left or right, nor did he pull back. In fact, he dropped exactly where he was, of course, meant she didn't have access to grab his arm and swiped at her legs hoping to take her legs out from her. Whether it worked or not he would flip back onto his feet and bowed to Noire "I am sorry to stop short Noire but I am requiring aid." he said his voice calm his eyes showing the fatigue he was till under from recovering from his coma without having access to all the medications and care that were usually afforded to him "I swear when I am well and have trained my dives, you will be my first battle even if I must fight you twice on the same day." he said with a micro smile.
"Lydia, I am requesting permission to leave the platform." he knew better than to leave without getting that if she was also taking part in training, even if it wasn't his this time. It was then he would change a hybrid language that he used when he wanted to talk to her privately in front of others "I was in a nine-day coma without my normal care or medicines, I spent a further two months without them trying to see if I could do without them, but, I've realized it was foolish of me and I shouldn't have. I require my medicines and rest, so I request retreat." he said to Lydia alone, he would be able to tell by looking at him let alone his tone that he wasn't trying to pull anything, the fact he was asking to back out of training she had 'requested' the family take part in was unlike him as he would normally see his training through to the end.
When given he would nod his thanks to his sister "I will make up for the lost training." he said speaking in common once more before turning Noire "I'll see you in a few weeks for that training then Noire." he said with a small wave before he moved to the steps of the training platform and headed back towards the house, he knew he was going to get an earful from Winter it almost made him wish he was well enough to stay and train because she was one of the very few women he never wanted to have pissed off at him. Best to get it done sooner rather than later in his mind but he had learned a few more things about himself within that short interaction.
