After the attacks stopped for some time reports came of a bigger attack from similar creatures, seems they came further out of wherever they are hiding. The knights have been asked to help stop the creatures before the city is overwhelmed.

Another uneventful day at the Black Bulls Headquarters. It was one of those times where Kusa wasn't given an assignment, giving him free time to do as he pleased. On this particular occasion he'd chosen to read a few books in the comfort of his own room, decorated simply with less adornments and more practical items lining the walls. Within the small quarters was a single bed pushed up hard against the left wall with a single side table with top drawer. A plain wooden desk and seat sat on the corner with bookshelves lining the remaining wall space with various pieces of parchment littering the ground and counter tops. The tomes he'd recently taken an interest in varied from topic to topic yet each one shared a commonality in the subjects they covered including, but not restricted to, magical theory, precise mana manipulation and the transformation of elements. Since his last mission with the Crimson Lion, along with other encounters and mandates, Kusa had come to the undeniable conclusion that his strength was lacking. And sorely so. He'd almost lost consciousness against a rogue who'd used the Township of Sossei as their playground, managing to save a few Citizens (save one) which cost a toll on his body. It'd taken him days to recover from that encounter. And then his mission with Hania, the heir of the Ravencrest Family. It was then that the Elf knew he'd need to expand his abilities if he were to be of any use while teamed with others on missions, bridging the gap of his lack of offense with indominable support. He needed to become the Knight who held up his fellow members, giving them that extra edge to complete their mandate, whatever it may be.
While he was deep into his magical studies, a simple pattern knocked on his door. 1,2,3. At first Kusa didn't respond, the noise almost part of the ambience as his attention delved into the books contents. The knock came again, and again he ignored it. It didn't happen thrice as his lack of compliance caused his door to be kicked in, his large framed Captain strolling into his quarters and placing a heavy hand on his shoulder. His gaze immediately switched to Malcolm who proceeded to give the reason for his intrusion. The influx of attacks on convoys and traveler had decreased with the demise of two Minotaur's which stalked the forests outside Sossei, mainly in due part to his companions dominating powers. To this day Kusa was convinced the success of the mission would have been up in the air if he'd chosen to complete this himself, the Elf thanking the Spirits that the wandering Crimson Lion had stumbled into his town. Apparently the moment of reprieve was short lived as the safety of the trading routes were once again compromised with reports once again flooding in of attacks to carts and their inhabitants. This time the assaults were becoming more frequent, and the results were more bloody. Once again the aid of the Magic Knights were requested, and seeing as Kusa was part of its initial incursion he was ordered to finish what he started. There was no arguing with the Captain. Everyone knew that.
Kusa, now more prepared than what he was during the last mission, packed his small pouch with a few items before wrapping his body in the ebony cloak of the Black Bulls. Before he left the door he strung the bow over his shoulder, resting the drawstring around his chest and clipping the dark quiver to his waist belt. He walked out of the Headquarters and towards the town.

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝I hear a song of woe shadowing our past in sorrow.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]Several weeks. It had been several weeks since the juvenile minotaur had been killed and the route travellers and traders had been safer. He had remained within Ssoshi checking the routes during his morning run, this was to make sure personally that there were no traps and if there were he disarmed them. More than that there was still a bad feeling at the pit of his stomach that it wasn't over, after all, where there is young there have to be elders somewhere. He really did dislike being in the Forsaken Region for so long and it had nothing to do with the common folk, it was more the surroundings in general. His sensory was growing ever stronger and the mana swirling around became increasingly more vivid, so did that pulling feeling. That feeling he couldn't ignore when he had awoken from the coma after Kikka's darkness ended.
During his time in Ssoshi, he had helped repair a church, helped a child by being their show and tell partner at school. That was an interesting experience, to say the least. He told them a bit about his family not letting anything slip that shouldn't, the staff that worked for them, what it meant to be a magic knight and even answered some questions. He visited Laric every day making sure he had everything he needed until the day his parents came to collect him. It was quite a saddening thing, Asmostia had become fond of the boy and was saddened to see him leave. The family had even been given a green mantis escort to make the youth feel safer. He was asked if he would visit and he said he would attempt to once or twice a month. Within that week he had a folder filled with different pictures, gifts from the young male.
He was just starting to pack up, he had been away from the estate and his squad for so long that he knew that they would start thinking something had happened to him. He did send letters every few days but he knew eventually Winter would come and hunt him down eventually. It was then it happened. More reports started to roll in, what had happened previously was tame in comparison to what was happening now. From the reports he had managed to get his hands on, this time there were six of them and they were raging. He couldn't blame them in all honesty, two of their young were missing... well... dead and likely nothing more than bone by this point thanks to scavengers. "Seems I was correct in my assumptions." he said to himself.
He had requested through official channels that Kusa be assigned to this task with him if anything happened, the best people to handle a situation were the ones who started it. He also believed this would be a good way for the other to get stronger by having someone who used some of the similar specializations that he did. He couldn't restrain but he could help him strengthen his sensory abilities and likely help him find a restraining tutor to help him there. He knew there was a nature based one inside the Golden Dawn, perhaps he could request them to take the task but it would mean twenty questions by the captain most likely. He started walking down the path at a quick pace in the hopes to get to the last noted attack, hopefully, there were tracks to follow or this would be a waiting game that he didn't want to play due to the price of playing.

Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Light Class & Type: Relic ¦ Accessory (bracelet) Magic Specializations: Physical Reinforcement ¦ Healing Appearance & Lore: A simple bracelet made out of reinforced glass with an opalite charm dangling from it almost like a pendulum, that gives off a dull light during the day and a bright light during the night preventing any natural shadow from forming.
There is nothing of major historical importance or deep story into where this item came from. The white-haired heir of the Ravencrest family has suffered from terrible day and night terrors since he was young and still does to this day. When asked what is wrong he brushes it off telling people not to worry it was a condition he had. He will never go into the terrible things he sees, in fact, he personally wishes he could forget he quickly realized that his perfect memory was a double edge sword and at times he truly wished he didn't have it.
His elder sister Lydia was the first to realize that it happened more when he was in an emotional state or surrounded by darkness. She also realized that he refused to sleep unless every light source he could find was active or he would sleep outside under the sun during the day, this wasn't optimal as he was to be trained to take over the family if anything were to happen to Lydia. Still, there wasn't much anyone could think to do to help him as he refused to open up but even if they could that came with a different set of hurdles they had to get over. Hania earlier in his life wouldn't take things from people due to his treatment before being adopted.
It took a while but Lydia finally found a way to help her younger brother, she had a crystal made with light inside and told him to use it when he sleeps. She said it was hers and she just wanted to see if it would help. He was reluctant but she said it only had to be a few days so he accepted. Throughout those few days, he slept somewhat peacefully so it was clear that it helped but not enough, she could only guess that the light wasn't strong enough. She realized this would be fine for a normal child afraid of the dark but it was clear to the pink-haired woman that this wasn't a normal situation.
She personally designed what she believed would help him the most, she chose the materials, their appearance even the opalite that dangles from it. As the bracelet was being made she slowly started to imbue her own element into the glass beads and the opalite as the former was created and the latter was shaped. It took close to a year to complete but Lydia seen it as something that should be done slow and steady, this was to make sure that it was done right the first time and that no matter what it would be near indestructible for whatever he may face in life.
On what is now classed as Hania's eighth birthday after a certain incident happened, she gave him a box, within it laid the bracelet. He was told to keep it with him always as she would be there to keep the darkness at bay and watching over him so he could be at peace while he rested. From that moment he has always kept it with him even if he hasn't always worn it.

This ability will become an imbued speed buff when it ranks to intermediate.
Hania has been taught how to wield may weapons since he was six years old, however, he has always prefered wielding weaponry that has tied into his true heritage. The fact he clings to a family heritage that seems to have abandoned him bothers his nanny Winter, as much as she and others have tried to knock some sense to him he keeps telling them it is still part of who he is. That he won't abandon part of himself just because his family didn't care for him.
The weapon was a gift from Alyssa Lilygate on the day he received his grimoire. She told him he had now become a man in his own right and it came with the responsibility of protecting things he held dear. He took the words to heart, treasuring the jian that was given to him.
The jian itself almost seems to hold a faint icy white glow when held by Hania as if it resonating with his element. The weapon itself is 28 inches long weighing 1.7 pounds. The sheath and hilt have a black and white design to it, while having ice blue crystals on the bottom of the sheathe, and two at the top.
The top of the sheathe and the hilt have a navy blue silk cord on them. The cord on the sheathe is tied and looped before having two dangling tassels with the same ice blue crystals on them. The top of the hilt on the other hand seems to have had the cord tied and a charm attached. A small lantern with the same ice blue crystals at the top and bottom of it.
Type & Uses: Trigger ¦ 6 uses Rank & Specialization: Senior ¦ Attack Creation Mana Cost: 24 per trigger ¦ 45 Recharge Range & Speed: 80m ¦ 40 m/s Stats Affected: +12 control (self) Description: Swinging the blade releases a flurry of what appears to be ice blue feathers, within a two-meter wide arc and a one point twenty-seven centimeters tall. These feathers edges are razor sharp and will cut through fabric and into the skin as if they are paper dealing senior damage. A direct hit will induce symptoms of frostbite and minor hypothermia.
The town of Sosshi was in a mild state of panic as reports of further attacks on merchants and travelers flooded the official channels. For the most part many of its citizens were unaware of what was occurring outside the walls and carried on with their day to day lives unhindered by the bloody events. Others weren't so blissfully ignorant and had picked up tidbits of information from those who had seen the carnage first hand, spreading rumors which further fueled panic. This resulted in a drop in trade and commerce, affecting the townships economy. As one of the furthest settlements from the heart of Clovers Capital they solely relied on trade and the sudden stop of caravans and convoys crippled its gears of industry, the effects seen on the shelves of merchants stalls and inventory.
Kusa, fully clad in the attire of his ebony Order, paced through the town with his emerald eyes scanning his surroundings. Before he'd left the Black Bulls base his Captain had advised that the Ravencrest heir had requested the Elf specifically. Obviously Hania was acting in more of an official capacity than their previous encounter, leading Kusa to believe that current events were more dire than what they were. It begged the question though, why had Hania requested his assistance when there were other Knights who were stronger. No doubt the Crimson Lion had other members in his squad that actually knew how Hania fought and could find someone who complimented his abilities better than the himself. Once in the heart of the township, the young Ravencrest was easy to pick out. Nobility tended to keep an arms length between themselves and Sosshi so his attire stuck out like a sore thumb amidst the travelling stream of cotton and cheap fiber.
The Elf approached Hania, raising his hand in a simple gesture of greetings "Good to see you again. I'd ask how the transit from the heart of the Kingdom was, but I've heard you've set up temporary residence over the last few weeks." Kusa extended an open palm, offering to shake his hand. This was something uncharacteristic of the young Bull as his history with Nobility was one of prejudice and torment, however Hania had changed his mind so his perception on those of higher birth weren't systematically categorized together. Once there customary greetings were completed he proceeded to walk with Hania down the cobblestone streets, his sandals clapping against the paving "I just received the official reports from Captain Watanabe. It was a stretch to think we'd solved the problem but I was optimistic -" his eyes skimmed the parchments contents, noting the detailed level of damage, injury and subsequent deaths "Considering my experience with Minotaurs are limited, I can't offer any predictions on the situation. Are we perhaps dealing with something similar to what we encountered a few weeks ago? Or is something more sinister a foot?"

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝I hear a song of woe shadowing our past in sorrow.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]He waited at the heart of the small village just watching as people went around their business, since the reports had started coming in the village had been pretty much been in lockdown for the safety of the citizens. They, of course, wouldn't stop people leaving if they really wanted to but they would let them know there were dangers ahead without going into too many details. The village he had been staying within was becoming increasingly unsettled with each passing day, it wasn't exactly like he blamed them. The threat had been dealt with but now it had come back and with vengeance. The white-haired male was worried that something like this would happen and that was why he remained, he would rather have been back home training, reading and the likes than being in a village situated in the middle of the forsaken realm.
His duty came first and so he had remained and requested when he required sent to him. Winter wasn't at all pleased but being a former Coral Peacock vice-captain she knew better than so many in her current station that duty came first. He stood awaiting the requested Black Bull Kusa. he would work with another if he needed to but the man had said he would see this through to the end with him and that is why he was the one requested. He knew that the other wasn't as strong as himself and his own sensory was far superior to Kusa's, but that meant little as the other would need guidance if he was to grow stronger. He didn't have offensive properties and it was unknown if any would form in the future so he at least wanted to help him to play to his strengths.
"It is a pleasure to see you too Kusa." he said calmly turning to look at the other, it was true given how he dressed within the sea of lower fabrics and cotton when he was wearing a white and blue silk flowing silk hanfu. He nodded "I have indeed and been helping around the village as and when I can. Laric went home last night with his family with a Green Mantis escort." he informed the other, he did this to allow him to know what was going on. "I knew it wasn't over, after all, where there is young there are elders." he said thoughtfully, he watched as the other extended his hand and he blinked. He had never been one to shake others hands and he wasn't about to start now, it wasn't that he thought that people held some unknown disease it was more how he was originally raised.
"You will have to forgive my poor manners, but, I do not do such contacts with people. My original upbringing is still very much ingrained." his tone sounded sincere in his apology, he was raised even within his current life that certain greetings were fine and others not so much. He placed his left hand to his chest, his right hand slightly away from his body with the palm facing towards Kusa as he bowed slightly. "I hope the days have found you well." he said standing it was the best greeting he could do for the other and he truly hoped that the other wouldn't hold it against him. Once the greetings were done he moved down the street next to Kusa, he brought his hand up to chuckle lightly "I'll need to get you some shoes or better sandals as people would be able to hear you a mile away with those ones."
He wasn't meaning it in a rude way, nor did he believe that the other couldn't afford to replace them but he had access to materials and such the other didn't. "Just a bit, as I told you on our last meeting there was more to this. They were only young meaning they'd have been reckless." he said stopping for a moment looking at the sky as he listened to the other. "I doubt it is more sinister, however, it is logical that they are adults looking for their young and tearing through anyone they believe to have caused their disapperance." he said in a stoic tone "If I am correct it means they will be more organised and far more dangerous but it will allow us to get closer to the source and chopping off the head once and for all." He knew how cold that sounded but his duty was to the kingdom not to the things threatening it.
He started moving once more towards the entrance of the village "I believe we should head towards where we saw the young and could work from there." he said looking to the other to see if he agreed with him. "I also feel your mana has gotten stronger since we last met, seems like whatever your captain puts you through is working." he said attempting to give the other a boost in morale because in all honesty he had no idea what the hell they were going against. With everything said and done, if Kusa agreeed he would start running towards the location of where they saw the young last, he made sure to keep to a pace that the other would remain close, if he fell behind he would slow his pace to what was needed.
