The young fire mage grinned with excitement and expectation, a few of his attacks had landed but with the ice mages current healing spell he was able to heal from the damage. This wasn't surprising, as Valo was preparing to release an onslaught of attacks on the ice mage to make it harder for him to recover from. The Green Mantis knight had yet to show his true output of power, his mana reserves still very high, he could still move faster and hit harder if need be. He still had a plethora of tools and spells he could use. He was also ready to see the same thing from Hania, knowing he had more to give. But the ice mage didn't have that same thought, not only did he stop attacking but he also turned off his Spirit Dive transformation. The wildly excited Valo dropped his guard, and his face full of confusion. He didn't understand what was happening for a moment, was he stopping? And why now? Things were just starting to get really good in his mind. Agneya came flew in next to his shoulder, she also looked confused. "Are they giving up? Does this mean we win? I knew we were going to win but, it's not the victory I had in mind." she said out loud crossing her arms with a disappointed look on her face. "I want absolute victory. We should keep fighting. I don't care what he says." Valo heard the fire spirits words loud and clear, and half of him agreed with her. Half of him wanted to continue till he had proven himself to be the victor, to prove himself to be strong. But the other half had a much different thought, thoughts that could see Hania's point of view. "Valo! Let's keep fighting!" Agneya shouted, but right after her shout Valo's necklace Last wishes started to glow a feint red and orange color. In the next moment Charlotte had been summoned and stood beside Valo. The fire mage looked startled at her sudden appearance. "Hush young Agneya." Charlotte's voice startled the fire spirit even more, Agneya huffed and decided to quiet down. The motherly wraith then looked towards Hania noticing the familiar yet different mana coming from him. She couldn't place her finger on it, but there was something about the ice mage that was familiar. It wasn't a sinister feeling though, so she wasn't worried. She then turned to Valo with her signature motherly smile on her face. "I believe you have summoned me, Valorisse. Be it unconsciously perhaps. But maybe for some much needed guidance on the current situation. So I have only one thing to say. You have nothing else to prove, to anyone Valo. Especially him." Charlotte spoke knowing full well Valo knew she was talking about his father. And that was all she did say, taking a step back and letting Valo make his decision. Most times Valo didn't have the luxury to stop fighting, to not put his all into something. Especially seeking strength, if he gave any less than 100% he would be proving his father right that he didn't have what it takes. That he was born weak and will forever be weak. Apart of him still had this mindset, this thought process that leaded him blindly, with the will to never give in no matter what it takes. In some ways it was useful, it had gotten him this far. A Grand Rank class Magic Knight, A Royal Knight. One of the strongest mages in Clover. Goals achieved, and many more to go. But maybe it was time to look at things differently for a change. Valo placed his hands in his hips and took a breath in and let it out. With a warming grin on his face "I gotta admit Ravencrest, I was starting to enjoy myself. You were giving me a good fight. Plus it didn't feel right from the beginning with you not being at one hundred percent." Valo also started to deactivate his spells, the blue embers that were rising from his skin started to vanish. He started to walk towards the ice mage with his right hand open for them to shake hands. "So we'l call it a match for now." He left it up to the ice mage if he was going to shake his hand, if he did or not Valo would turn his back to Hania and start exiting the Arena. Charlotte had a small but very happy smile on her face as she followed the fire mage, Agneya still looked rather disappointed but was coming around with his decision. She flew next to him and landed on his shoulder. Charlotte and came closer and whispered in his ear. "I'm proud of you Valorisse." The fire mage sucked his teeth. "Yea, yea. Let's not make this into a thing alright. The next time we fight, he ain't getting off so easy." Do you think we should also make our presence known brother? I know you can sense the similarities between this Hania Ravencrest and...Ito. As I do. No. We are not needed at the moment. I sense the same thing you do, but this Hania is not Ito. Perhaps there is a connection there, but it's just something to note. No need to take action. As you say brother. What did you think of Master Valorisse's fight? He did...fine. Reckless. Especially his mouth. But he did fine. As he was walking out, he raised his voice loud enough for Hania to hear. "Thanks for the tips. Next time we fight, no excuses! I mean it this time! Oh and by the way sorry about the Ravencrest talk I just wanted to give you a little push is all, tell Lydia not to kill me or whatever." Valo said as he exited the Arena with a single hand wave.
