[attr="class","demiscroll"] Today started out just like any other for a young royal. Amaya stirred, feeling the light that snuck through a crack in her curtains. Groaning lightly in protest, she tossed the blankets back over her head, drifting back to sleep for a few more minutes before her usual morning welcome party started the morning routine of first acknowledging her need to wake up to tell her how it is necessary to just open the curtains before taking the comfort of her barrow away. Startling the girl again, falling out of bed as Amaya did every morning with a groan. Amaya rubbed her eyes, looking back at her Grimoire as, like clockwork, every morning she fell out of bed, it always fell off her nightstand. Landing on the ground in front of her as if acknowledging it belonged with her. [break][break] "You would think by now we would stop this, huh?" She asked the book picking it up. A small smile rested on Amaya's face before wrapping her arms around the book in a hug against her chest. "Let us show the world what we can do," she said in a whisper to the book. The Grimoire looked the same, but she knew it was no longer just some snow white grimoire with light gold feather like markings in the shape of two wings around the four leaf clover resting in the book's center. She somewhat accepted but also detested her light pink mana that tended to encase and glow within her Grimoire when it was used. [break][break] Amaya slowly stood up, stretching the sleep from her bones and going about the usual routine of taking a prepared bath, enjoying the assistance of adequately washing her massive length of hair. She examined the length of it floating in the water around her like freshly colored grey moss on a freshwater pond. She looked up at the ceiling in deep thought of the eventful mission of a few weeks ago. Something wasn't right about Taiyo suddenly acting the way he did, and the bird, His former spirit Cyra, was back. She faintly remembered the bird, but something about the bird's attitude wasn't right. Something wasn't sitting right with that. She shook it from her head and decided it was better not to dwell on it. She was not in a bond with a spirit. She couldn't understand the link or bond needed to hold a spirit. She grew curious, looking over the edge of the tub at the Grimoire sitting on the vanity. Would she ever gain such a partner to have such a bond? She closed her eyes, letting out a light chuckle acknowledging that if the universe wished for her to have a partner, it would grant her one in due time, just as it did with her spells. [break][break] She got out of the bath, allowing the servants to assist in her hygiene regimen while getting dressed, making the morning routine complete with a quick slipping and tying her high-heeled shoes. Today she held a simple style off-shoulder pink top with long flowing sleeves reaching her elbows with a waist-high flowing crimson red skirt resting to her mid-thigh. She usually would argue with the little choice of pink with the shirt instead of the usual white or blue. However, today she didn't need to insist on a shirt change. She often enjoyed showing her upper legs with her lower, hidden by her knee-high heeled boots, but she didn't trip as often nor felt so constrained by her clothing getting in her way. She adjusted her holster correctly on her right hip as her left hip held her trusty relic, 'lady madness.' Heading towards the door, she accepted the freshly folded mantle from her head handmaid as she nodded, draping it on her shoulder correctly and running out of her room. [break][break] Amaya headed towards the front of the Ravencrest estate, requesting a broom from a servant as she passed heading out front. She accepted the requested item thanking the servant before placing her mana into the broom as she sat on it, crossing her legs to the side. She rested her left manicured nailed hand on the wood as her right rested in her lap as the broom took off towards the first known stop of the day, the Coral peacock base. Amaya enjoyed her time flying much more than a carriage ride. It was so free and not restricting. Going anywhere on a broom was her go to unless told otherwise. She let out a light laugh watching the world fly past her. Nothing could rain on her parade besides seeing the beckoning signal of a fellow peacock waiting outside the headquarters for her, an urgent expression on her face. [break][break] Amaya allowed her broom to descend before receiving a quick file. She looked through the file while listening to the explanation. "There you are! We missed you on the urgent message we were asked to send. You needed back in Sosshi immediately. A terrible trouble is brewing there, and we can't send anyone else." Requested the member. Amaya rattled her brain, trying to think of Sosshi before the flashback of Taiyo caught the minotaur's axe with ease before cutting through it without so much acknowledgment of a softer side. Maybe it was just her, but she felt it was a bad idea to be sent to this place again. She shook her head, pushing the worry back. [break][break] "You can depend on me. I will head there immediately and tend to the issue." She spoke in confidence, hoping to ease the fellow peacock's worry. She allowed a soft smile to return to her face before turning her head and self away, taking back to a quick ascend into the sky before rocketing forwards with urgency toward Sosshi. A curious and worrying thought crossed her mind. Was Taiyo going to be there, and was it going to be the one she saw last time, or was it going to be the one she loved dearly. She closed her eyes, letting out a disappointed sigh as another thought came to her head. Cyra was going to be there naturally, making it possibly worse between what time she got to spend with Taiyo, regardless of whether they were on duty. She knew the bird didn't like her. She couldn't blame Cyra for possibly hating her. However, one thing Amaya wouldn't stand for was allowing the spirit free reign to tear her Taiyo to pieces for his past mistakes. [break][break]

“There is always danger that comes with beauty.”
The nobles residing within a young king’s court didn’t know the danger of those words until one Lady Cherry walked into their faraway royal palace and bowed before their king. Her locks were like liquid gold, her skin perfect like the most beautiful white marble, and her lips were as red as the magical roses that only bloomed once a year, at midnight. Her mannerisms were pristine, and her beauty found her a place within the hearts of all men, even the king. He became cold, cruel, only cared for Lady Cherry and gave her everything she wanted…He even went to war for her because she wanted Tchazzar’s riches…
It was brutal, a trench war in its worst sense. No side was winning, and despite the fact that the king’s armies were tired and lacking in resources, he pushed them to continue. To continue until they saw him as a mad king…A conspiracy took place, where the sister of the King came to Tchazzar, begging him to end the war. And he did, in a day the Jaws of Fire and his council swept through the kingdom, letting the unhappy peasants deal with the king as they wished…yet Lady Cherry appeared before the Dragon Emperor the very next day, with that same bow, those same golden locks, those same luscious lips…A seduction that should’ve worked but didn’t. The sister of the late king had warned Tchazzar of the woman who turned her once great and beloved brother into a mad tyrant. He let the woman remain in his grand temple, but showed no interest in her. Not until she started attempting to tempt the members of his council to betray him. The Jaws of Fire’s punishment was swift and harsh. He turned to the strongest magician he had in his court, and asked them to curse Lady Cherry to suffer forever in her pining of all the world’s power and riches. Her form, he found next morning in the council room.
A long, thin and light rapier that always appeared to be covered in blood upon first glance… only those that bother to touch it find that the blood, while still bright red and fresh-looking, is completely dried down (and also impossible to remove.) A single beautiful rose sprouts from where the hilt meets the blade, one that only fully opens its petals once the blade tastes blood. The blade only welcomes a woman as its master, as all men that have ever touched it have received large cuts from both the hilt and the blade.

Taiyo Vermillion - My Burning Passion is to be the Best!
Taiyo had been getting stronger and he knew it was just the beginning. Even though things weren’t as great as he would have hoped, there was nothing that was going to stop him from getting stronger. His spirit was back and yet she refused to communicate with him and to add insult to injury, the bird would speak with other people. While she didn’t like everyone around, she still spoke to them yet when it came to her actual partner, she was giving him the ultimate silent treatment. Taiyo understood that she felt abandoned by him due to how much attention she was getting or really the lack thereof. Originally, Taiyo gave Cyra tons of attention but with having his responsibilities slowly increased and all the other people he had to give attention to, the attention he gave her wasn’t as abundant. Just like that, she decided that she wasn’t satisfied with the amount of attention she had and vanished. Taiyo didn’t know why. He still wondered if it was because he was too weak or if she was fed up with how in sync they should have been but wasn’t there yet. It was annoying that he couldn’t find the answer. It didn’t matter though because he was much stronger now and she was back. Even if she wasn’t going to utter a word to him, he was going to do his best to fix their situation and make up with her. Putting on his mantle, he stretched a bit before walking out of his room with Cyra perched on his head. Knowing that the bird wasn’t going to respond to anything he said, he kept quiet. He had more important things to deal with. One day he was going to be head of the family. Before he was really insecure about that, he was starting to fully embrace it. Not that deep down he wanted this but it was his duty and maybe what was best for his family. Emily had already told him that it was his problem and that was that. What would be better was if he could fix all the problems he kept inside first but they always seemed too great for him. Those problems were to be kept inside until he was strong enough to take care of them. In the meantime, it was all about smiling and keeping himself positive.
Heading in to work, Taiyo spent time looking around at those who were there. Seeing members of his family there including his dad was always something that made him smile. He remembered when he was the new one in the squad. It was quite stupid of him to do many things. His debut wasn’t as spectacular as it could have been and he ended up being an embarrassment. Luckily he found a mentor in his former vice captain and she promised to train him. That was the first time he felt as though he was truly taken seriously. He was nothing important, just a little kid running around playing Magic Knight and it was honestly pathetic. He was pathetic. It even got worse when he tried to make friends with Hania and everything always went wrong because of him. He was just not a good fit. He was weak and incredibly pathetic. Even so, through Hania’s words, he held his head high because Lions didn’t bow their heads.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when he was tapped by a senior member of the squad. It was here he was given another mission in Sosshi which he immediately assumed it was Minotaur related. He was right! There were reports that these beasts were attacking the city and he was supposed to go there to stop the attack. Nodding, he walked out of the Headquarters and grabbed a broom, taking off to get to Sosshi. The last time he was there, Amaya had learned spells which was pretty good for her. She was getting stronger and that was showing. He wondered if she was going to be there like before. Guess it was something he’d have to wait till he arrived for. He landed right outside the city and got ready to go in and do clean up. This time around, he didn’t have his relic nor his sword but that was okay, he was more than capable without them. Amaya flew toward Sosshi as quick as her broom could carry her, coming to a stop above the spot she was to meet any possible help. She had helped she wasn't to be on her own on this mission. She knew her skills had improved in a lot of aspects from her hard work and she had just achieved finally getting her first two spells the last time she was here. However, she wasn't going to be able to take out minotaurs on her own out right. She didn't have that kind of power. She wasn't strong without her blade and her speed. She looked around before looking below her seeing the notable bright red hair with ball of blue feathers nested on top of the red haired male "Taiyo...." She whispered taking a deep breath calming herself down, pushing back her worried thoughts as she allowed the broom to descend next to him before getting off it. [break][break] "You got the same mission as well Taiyo?" Asked Amaya looking up at him "Also good morning Cyra, how are you feeling today?" She asked acknowledging the spirit. As much as she was sure the bird hated her, she was going to attempt to remedy that hatred for Taiyo's sake as lord knows the boy needed all the help he could get with the Jealous, pissed off bird. This made Amaya happy she in turn didn't have a spirit cause she was sure it would nag her or she would naturally annoy it. [break][break] She smiled before looking at the town. "Lets try to get this mission done quickly yeah? we can chat later" She spoke moving towards Sosshi while removing her Rapier from her hip. Lady madness was a odd relic for her. Yes she was best with her extremely light weight weapons and knew how to use it with the best around. However the oddity to her was the mysterious magic it held. She wasn't the best with using it's abilities, nor did she understand them or the blade as a whole. the blade was an extension of what she can do and her specialty was with rapiers regardless. She could use any rapier and defeat someone with masterful skill as easy as breathing. It was the magic and the presence of power and want of power she felt every time holding the rapier. Maybe it was the fact she felt like she had the power to assist the tides of battle and stand on her own. Maybe it was the understanding of the blade's blood magic and its hex and curse usage . "Alright Lady Madness, lets see if we can get to know your magic yeah?" she spoke to the blade. She made a mental note of taking Hania up on the offer of seeing if the relic can be adjusted to better fit Amaya and her own abilities. [break][break]

Taiyo Vermillion - My Burning Passion is to be the Best!
Taiyo had arrived outside Sosshi city with his spirit, Cyra, on his head. Before he could enter, he was joined by Amaya. While last time he grabbed her and spun her around off the broom with excitement, this was not the time nor place for that. People were in danger and his usual smile was nowhere to be seen. ”Hey. Yeah, I got the same mission.” He was about to move into the city to battle but that was when she addressed the bird on his head. ”Good Morning, Amaya. I do find that I am well this morning and yourself?” Now Cyra wasn’t exactly angry with Amaya. How could she be? The girl did nothing wrong. Just because more attention was given to her when Cyra vanished doesn’t mean that she should hold ill will towards the girl. Her gripe was with her partner, Taiyo.
After their little chat, Amaya brought up what he was thinking. They should go get the mission done quickly and they could chat once it was over. He nodded and started walking towards the city where the big battle was going on. Without his swords or relic he walked towards the area where the Minotaurs were attacking, assessing the damage and the situation at hand. He noticed that Amaya was beside him and she drew her rapier. It was nice to see her ready for the fight at hand and with her having spells now, he didn’t have to worry about her. ”I believe in you. You got this! Now go kick some ass.”
With that said, his eyes landed on one of the Minotaurs who was about to slam his ax on one of the citizens. Moving in quickly, Taiyo appeared between the beast and the woman, and grabbed the blade. ”Come on; pick on someone who is able to fight back.” He smiled and pushed the beast and the ax off, causing it to stumble back. He then turned to the woman. ”Are you okay enough to walk? If so, get up and get out of here. I’ll protect you.” The beast that was thrown back started chuckling. Taiyo turned his attention back to the beast and smiled. “YOU STOPPED MY ATTACK! NOW THAT WAS NEW. I'LL SHOW YOU!” Taiyo moved in and punched the Minotaur in the chest which ended up making it clutch its chest in surprise as it fell to the floor and died. ”Good show.” WC: 411 TWC: 1,154

"I am doing well, wasn't expecting to get to my squad headquarters and find myself needed for such a Urgent mission." She said with a smile. She was happy the bird seemed in a better mood, now all that depended was what mood was Taiyo in? Was he going to be her usual smiling knight that brighten her day or was he going to be something else entirely? That was when she noticed he did not bring his sword or the mysterious Dagger he was awarded. She looked up at him as she allowed him to caught up to her as she nodded feeling her cheeks grow a bit hot from blushing at the encouragement from him. She knew she had it and could hear it every second but here recently something else seemed to make her enjoy the encouragement from him even more.
[break][break] She turned her attention back at the task at hand. These minotaurs were more organized. They seemed much more intelligent then the ones they have meet last time. By logic, the ones they faced had to be the considered children of these more mature and intelligent minotaurs. She adjusted her blade moving along with taiyo as she found it surprising how much faster he seemed compared to her. She broke off from beside him moving to a minotaur taking its sweet time trying to beat down a door as she could hear "Hey! Leave them alone, you big brute!" Called Amaya to the beast getting its attention.
[break][break] "And you tiny one think you can stop us." Laughed the minotaur towering over her as she tightened her grip on her hilt. If there was one thing she hated, it was the acknowledgement of her height. She looked up at the minotaur before quickly backpedaling out of the way of it's axe. "Don't call me Tiny." She commented swing her blade up in a vertical arc sending a large narrow wave of Rose pedals at the Minotaur catching it off guard hitting it square in the chest with the blood illness racing through it. Out of surprise it staggered backwards only to raise the blade finding no opponent infront of it "Hey Brute, keep your eyes on me!" She called from behind the monster as she sent two stabs into it's back. Watching it fall forward being struck for intermediate damage along with an additional 25% Junior Damage.
[break][break] She shaked her head looking around moving to the door "I am sorry those brutes scared you all, When you can, get to safety." She spoke to the door seeing a growing shadow behind her only to move to the side seeing an axe barely miss her, implanting itself into the barely standing door. She moved away from the building looking over her shoulder at the minotaur retrieving his axe and slightly gaining after her "They are quick." She spoke to herself stopping on her heels turning to the creature. She was focused on distracting it from the building, watching the family emerge from inside it, running from it as she smiled a bit relieved to see them all safe. [break][break]

The Minotaur attack was in full effect and destruction was left in its wake. Taiyo almost witnessed one of the beasts killing a woman who happened to be on the floor. Before the attack could be completed, he was in between them and took that time to protect the woman from the incoming attack. Though it caused him to receive a cut, he didn’t care. He pushed the ax back which in turn sent the beast back. As the beast taunted him, he moved in and struck it in the chest with his fist which caused it to collapse and die. Taiyo looked over at the destruction for the next area where there was a Minotaur. Seeing a big brute Minotaur chuckling after destroying property, Taiyo had found the next one who’d be going down.
Taiyo rushed over to where the Minotaur was and folded his arms. ”Hey there; mind the property. People have to pay for those damages.” As the towering beast looked down at Taiyo, it laughed boisterously. “LISTEN UP, PUNY MAN, I’M GONNA PUT THIS AX INTO YOU AND YOU’RE GOING TO LAY DOWN AND DIE!” As it charged towards Taiyo and swung at him, he jumped over it and landed on its head. Then he jumped behind it. ”Come on, try again but this time, I’ll also attack.” The Minotaur turned around and furiously looked at Taiyo. “YOU DARE?! I’M GONNA DESTROY YOU!” As it charged at Taiyo, Taiyo dashed as it and used its strength against it and threw it into the ground and smirked. ”My turn.” He threw his fist into the chest of the fallen beast which made it cough before it died. ”Alright, one more down.”
Seeing the next area, Taiyo rushed over to that space and got right in front of the beast. ”Hey! If you decide to lay your weapon down, we can both go about with our lives.” This made the Minataur look at Taiyo as if he was an idiot. “AND WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WANT TO LET YOU LIVE?” Taiyo pointed at the areas where he took down the other two Minataurs. ”They both tried and died; it will bring the same result.” He appeared very peaceful about it. “I WILL DESTROY YOU AND AVENGE MY BROTH-“ Before it could finish its sentence, Taiyo dashed towards it and struck it in the chest with his fist which made it fall backwards clutching its chest before it died. Amaya looked at the minotaur infront of herself tilting her head in thought of how to tend to it. She took note of it and the one last one she could hear causing trouble on the backside of the building that separated it from herself. " Alright, Can you just go away and leave these people alone, mindless bloodshed and misery is not what anyone wants and this will only result in your death." She Spoke hearing a laugh from the minotaur as she sighed flicking her rapier to clean off the fresh blood from the minotaur. "Then respect my wish and not haunt me for your death." She spoke gently Raising her rapier up before swinging down sending a large wave of rose petals straight at the minotaur, slamming straight into it's chest as it staggered back in surprise "Puny flowers?! Weakling." Roared the minotaur feeling a odd sensation through its body [break][break] "Weak? You just haven't met with my thorns yet!" She spoke racing straight after the petals, watching the minotaur lift his ax only to feel the narrow blade dig its way through the beast's chest before she pulled it out flicking it to the side as the creature feel over backwards. "This is getting too much." She spoke to herself watching the creature's body on the ground as she shaked her head. She turned on her heels walking away from the body walking calmly towards the last sound of a minotaur attacking a building. She sighed hating the sight infront of her "Hey you! Minotaur. If you want to hit something, Come for me." She Called getting it's attention. She was tired of dealing with these minotaurs and senseless killing She decided once again to go with her bread and butter of her attacks swing the rapier up in a vertical swing sending a wave of petals against the minotaur. She darted forward straight after the petals sending two strikes to the Minotaur's chest, giving it no time to refuse her wish. "I'm sorry." She spoke taking out a loose cloth, wiping her blade clean of the creatures blood before sheathing her blade. [break][break] She took a deep breath feeling her legs screaming from all the running around along with her heart beating quickly in her chest. fighting the original minotaurs wasn't that scary cause there was only two and they were in range of hurting anyone else. However they were in Sosshi, in a town with civilians. Some lives were possibly lost in the battle and a lot of the buildings weren't very sound from the damage and destruction. "Such is the way of this life." She whispered to herself calming her inner thoughts down as she looked around soon finding taiyo as she smiled towards him "I do believe all of them have been slain." She spoke reaching into the satchel at her side pulling out a spare cloth wrapping, "Do you need me to possibly heal your hands?" She asked moving closer holding out the wrappings. "I am sure punching through minotaurs can cause pain and injury." She commented.

[attr="class","posiescroll"] The Minotaurs were all defeated by Taiyo and Amaya. He stood there, looking at the damage they left and sighed. They were getting out of hand and they needed to be stopped. He looked at his hand and smiled. He was much stronger than before and he was happy with that. Looks like all of his training was paying off at last. There was something he felt inside that made him even happier amidst all that was going on. It was the sense of pride that he felt in Cyra. She was impressed by his growth and even though she wouldn’t tell him that she was proud of him, he could feel it. It was truly something that he didn’t expect. She hadn’t uttered a word to him since announcing her return and all he felt from her was anger and other negative feelings. This was the first positive feeling he got from her since she got back and he was quite happy with it. [break][break] Amaya walked up to him letting him know that all the Minotaurs were defeated. Taiyo looked at her and smiled. She pulled out wrapping from her satchel which was probably for his hand. She even asked if he needed her to heal him. He held his hand out for her so she could wrap it and heal it. ” I would like the healing, yes. It is only a scratch but it’s probably best I get it healed one time.” He looked at her and thought for a second. ”Amaya, can we talk? Not here but some time later? Maybe at your estate or mine?”

Amaya smiled as she cleaned his hands off with the bandages before Amaya lifts up her left hand pointing her palm towards her targeted allies. A small ball of a baby pink light about, the size of a Ballard ball, will fly from her palm. "Taiyo." She spoke allowing a seal to form under him as the ball of pink light moved to taiyo forming a pendant on his shirt as the magic began to repair and mend his body. "You want to talk sometime? What would you like to talk about? If you want we can speak at the Ravencrest estate if you are alright with that." She spoke a bit worried on why he wished to talk in private all of the sudden. Though she does need to speak with him about a lot of things stirring up inside her recently. She wanted to get some things off her chest about herself that she doesn't allow to be seen outside the estate. She just worried of what he will think of all she kept hidden.
[break][break] "If you wish just let Jianyu know when you would like to request a visit. I often have a very booked schedule of teachers and various others I tend to have to meet." She spoke in thought out loud nodding in silent acknowledgement of something before retrieving her broom "For now, we should assist ensuring the citizens are all safe and report back." She added seeking out any injured citizens, tending to their wounds. Once she was sure they were healed and alright she got on her broom allowing it to lift her up "I will be awaiting for your request." She added deciding it was best to head back to headquarters.

[attr="class","posiescroll"] The fight was over. All enemies were gone. With that, Amaya and Taiyo regrouped and Amaya offered to heal his hands, believing that punching would have hurt his hands. Seeing no reason to object, Taiyo let her use her spell to heal his cut. This was a good way for her to use her newly acquired spells so that she could get some experience with them. As the pink ball of light surrounded him, he smiled as he watched it go under him and the pendant forming on his shirt. He felt a warm sensation around the cut and then there wasn’t any more stinging. His hand was good as new. [break][break] He then asked her if they could talk later in private which would be at either of their estates. She sounded worried about what they were going to speak of but she didn’t have to worry much. Taiyo just had things he needed to bring to the light. ”A lot of things that I think you should know.” This was when she suggested they talk at the Ravencrest Estate which Taiyo was fine with. She then told him that whenever he was ready to do it, he could let her butler know and she’d clear her schedule for him. ”Okay, sounds good.” Rightfully, she suggested that they get back to the citizens and help them out. Taiyo got back to assisting people and trying to make sure the survivors were safe and sound. Once it was time to go, Amaya told him that she was waiting on his request. ”Alright, later Amaya.” He departed, heading back to the Royal Capital where his squad headquarters was.
