[attr="class","text"] [attr="class","header"]Rihug [break]Appel Some cool quote or whatever [attr="class","header"]Appearance
Appearance The most accurate way of describing Rihug would without a doubt be odd. He had wild purple hair that often stood up, making him look crazy. A blank face which was described as seeming expressionless and made a lot of people consider him to be dumb when he was a child. And a pair of dark brown eyes that under certain lighting may even seem coal black. He was almost as skinny as a twig and was of average height compared to most people his age. The color of Rihug’s skin was pink like most of the populace though he did get tanned easily after which it could turn light brown. As a commoner Rihug was dressed rather humbly. Most often being found wearing a simple shirt that was in that awkward middleground between being green or gray. Simple black cotton pants. And a pair of old shoes that used to belong to his uncle. But hey, at least they were comfy. [attr="class","header"]Personality Rihug likes to consider himself a low energy type of person. He doesn't let himself be affected by the worries of the world and instead just enjoys the many benefits of a low energy lifestyle. Of course many people consider him lazy. For Rihug these people have not just realized the incredibly complicated makings of the world and the fact that so many hard working people have never been rewarded for their effort. Due to this he believes that it is good to strive for a low energy way of life because then low effort gets rewarded by small results and thus a person doesn't feel cheated which often leads to depression or alcoholism. Truly the low energy lifestyle is the right path for everyone to follow and if implemented widely could lead to much happiness in this sorrowful world. Unfortunately the world hasn't caught up yet to this realization. Another quality that Rihug considers himself being is smart. Not overly smart because overly smart people are often dragged down by their intelligence in the void of overthinking things, which was the mortal enemy of the low energy lifestyle. Rihug was smart enough to avoid work which meant that he was also quick-witted enough with a sharp enough tongue to talk himself out of said work. Rihug may not wield a sword (because wielding one would be too high energy) but his tongue was sharper than any blade when it came to slaying the adversaries of hard work and responsibility. Of course not even he could afford to be 100% low energy all the time. There were just certain situations in life that required some level of effort. After all, the same way a battle needed to be lost for a war to be won, sometimes a man needed to go "high energy" so that he later could enjoy being "low energy". Another thing that needed to be addressed is that despite trying to spend as little energy as possible Rihug was the type of person to rush in to assist someone if they were in trouble. Because it was pretty hard to be low energy if you were plagued by thoughts of guilt for things that you were not able to do. [attr="class","header"]History Rihug was the youngest of four children to a simple and yet somewhat well off, considering his circumstances, apple farmer in the forsaken realm. As a child he had expected to do all the things that were expected of a child in such a family. He helped around the house and did his best to stay out of trouble. It was only when he displayed signs of showing his first magic when Rihug started to become the person that he was known to be today. To be blunt, his magic was "unnatural". It wasn't anything horrifying that could leave him ostracized by his community. However it was different enough to distinguish him from his family and seemingly useless enough for people to not think of him as some kind of prodigy. Even the uncanny amount of mana that he possessed, compared to the rest of his family, didn't make the people in his village think more of him. To these common people without any magical knowledge it hardly mattered if a person had more mana if they couldn't cast any noteworthy spells. Maybe if Rihug would've been born somewhere else then perhaps things could've been different. Seeing the unique situation where his magic placed him, Rihug understood it as a sign from some higher power. Since he wasn't neither gifted enough to be some prodigy nor average enough to fit the general mold, Rihug figured that it meant that life wouldn't be expecting any significant things from him and so he could just take it easy without putting much effort. Thus his low energy lifestyle began. Surprisingly a lot of people were not okay with Rihug's new way of existing. Especially his father who was a devoted believer to the "hard work makes a decent person" school of thought. He also believed that just like with a dusty carpet a good whacking could do wonders to get the slothfulness out. So he tried to punish the lazy out of him which just resulted in the fact that Rihug got very good at running and hiding. Which in turn resulted in many situations where his father would yell bloody murder throughout the whole plantation while his son would be hiding in the apple trees like a monkey. However by the time Rihug turned twelve his father had given up on reeducating his son. If the man was to be believed then it would be a lot easier for him to become wizard king then it would be for his lazy son to change his ways. Which was a testament to the boy's dedication because his father was notoriously stubborn. The man just told his son that his new job would be to guard the family's apple orchard which in layman's terms meant that the man wanted Rihug to pretend to be busy. Despite popular belief no one actually ever stole apples. Rihug was also warned that once he turned fifteen he was going to be kicked out of the house, which he didn't mind that much. Rihug really didn't fit well with his family after all. Eventually the promised day arrived and Rihug waited at the Grimoire tower with the rest of the people when we're ready to have the remainder of their lives planned out on this single day. Eventually the books started to choose their owners and Rihug awaited for his to come to him. He unsurprisingly didn’t possess too high expectations and would be happy with whatever he received. However the damn book didn't show up. Confused he looked around trying to understand if his Grimoire was being late while those that were already chosen snickered. Then it happened. A bright white light filled the air as a platinum colored book appeared in front of him, ready to be taken. At the front of that book there majestically stood a four leaf clover. Rihug had gotten the Four Leaf Grimoire. The legendary Grimoire that only a destined chosen one could wield. The Grimoire that someone else should’ve gotten instead. The silence that followed afterwards could have been mistaken for a spell. The “chosen” meanwhile was having other issues. This was bad. Rihug's low energy life was being threatened by a freaking Grimoire. A Four Leaf Clover Grimoire would attract attention no matter in which realm he was located. And attention meant a hassle in all possible forms. So if Rihug ever wanted to have anything similar to a low energy life he needed to hide in a place where no one would pay much attention to an individual like him even if he had a Four Leaf Clover Grimoire while also having a way to earn a living for himself. He needed to become a magic knight. In all honesty the plan was sound. In the magic knights they should have at least a couple of four leaf clover users, meaning that he should if not slip under the radar then in the least be so unassuming by comparison that no one would pay attention to him. Besides a Four Leaf Clover Grimoire was a free ticket to enter the magic knights if Rihug had ever seen one. All he needed to do was to join them and then slowly slip into obscurity by being competent enough to not get fired and yet not too outstanding to catch unnecessary attention. Rihug was sure that with his type of magic it shouldn't be too difficult. So for the following year Rihug was doing something unimaginable. He was actually training in order to get accepted into the Magic Knights. Fortunately a Four Leaf Clover Grimoire and an actual goal that he wanted to achieve was a good enough reason for Rihug's dad to veto his decision of kicking his son out. In fact the guy was even bragging to the whole village that his lazy son had finally gained some sense and was training to join the Magic Knights where he'll most likely become somewhat noteworthy. If only the man knew why Rihug wanted to go there. So after a year Rihaug finally left his childhood home for good in order to fulfill his destiny of living a low energy lifestyle. [attr="class","header"]Magic
MAGIC DESCRIPTION: PELICAN SUMMONING MAGIC Allows Rihug to summon magical pelicans that can act as guards, fighters, scouts, etc. Rihug then can imbue these pelicans with different magical elements thus making each pelican type completely unique. In simple terms Rihug could be considered a jack of all trades type of wizard without any masteries. During fights Rihug’s magic is used to counter his enemies by summoning golems that could exploit their weaknesses. As a summoner Rihug mostly relies on his golems while he himself stays away from the front lines. Unfortunately he himself is unable to cast any other magic besides summoning.
