Name of Spell: Broodmother's Bassinet
Elemental Type: Cloth
Rank & Spell Type: Junior | Defense Creation
Range & Speed: 10m Radius | 5 m/s
Mana Cost: 10 | 5
Stats Effected: +4 Durability
Applicable Perks: Shield Bash
Description: Raising his arm above his head, Kingsley speaks the name of the spell. A large mother-of-pearl rune circle appears at his feet, expanding out to 10m radius, with Kingsley at the center. At the edges of the spell circle, roughly a hundred ribbons of white silk emerge, flying in an arc and crisscrossing one another in a basket-like weave, until they form a dome with a flat floor (as flat as possible given the terrain beneath). The dome has a durability equal to Intermediate, and reverberates the force of physical attacks back at their origin, dealing Junior damage so long as the attack doesn't destroy the dome. The dome may be granted to an ally instead, by extending his arm towards the ally during the casting of the spell, so long as they are within 25m of Kingsley. Due to the silk nature of the barricade, there is zero visibility on either side.
Name of Spell: Vizard of the Viceroy
Elemental Type: Cloth
Rank & Spell Type: Junior | Restraining
Range & Speed: 25m | 10 m/s
Mana Cost: 10 | 5
Stats Effected: Blind, -4 Control
Applicable Perks: Tightly Bound
Description: Kingsley points at his target, speaking the spell's name, as a ring of rose colored runes appear at the tip of his finger. From the runic circle, a black tragedy mask made of silk appears, emblazoned with an orange butterfly pattern, with closed eyes and open mouth/nose holes. The mask has four outstretched straps of black cloth attached to the sides, lined with sharp spines. The mask flies towards the target, interior side first, attempting to latch onto their face. If the mask reaches its target, the four straps clamp around the back of their head, locking the mask on tightly and dealing 1/2 Junior damage in cuts. The mask attempts to blind the target and interrupt their ability to concentrate, reducing Control by 4 at full rank power. After a single turn of blindness, the mask opens its eyes, granting the unfortunate victim their sight back. Additional masks may be created in a single casting per the ammo rules. The mask has a durability equal to Junior.
