Hinota closed her eyes for the briefest of moments in the attempts to calm her mind, this wasn't exactly the easiest thing given the circumstances but she needed to before she made another mistake that wasn't in her normal nature. She had no idea what had come over her but she didn't like it. It was true in her own mind she was given no other option but to fight, the elder dragon wanted to gain knowledge and the youngest had daddy issues so wanted to fight them, Saki instantly took up the invitation and so even though the other three were looking for a more peaceful resolution it was taken from them in that single action. It hadn't been the elder dragon that had taken her option to fight off the table but Saki's due to her need for battle and she wasn't best pleased with it, then again she wasn't best pleased that the four of them had been led there on false pretences either. Her eyes opened after a brief second and seen one of Seren's spells being thrown back at the pair of mages flying upon the broom and so started to manoeuvre to fly above it and at least take most of the brunt of the damage away from them, that was of little consequence as Seren had sacrificed her second broom golem to protect them both.
"I apologise for my earlier outburst elder, I don't do well in these sorts of situations." she bowed her head from the broom her voice sincere on her apology "You do not deserve disrespect in your own home I know this and it was not you who removed my ability or two of my colleague's abilities to decline this fight. I ask forgiveness for my earlier outburst" she finished, she was remorseful for her actions, she knew it was also her own decision to give up her mantle and as much as she would want it back she had no right to demand it. Perhaps in time, she could find something of equal or greater worth and trade for it back but that was another issue for a later day.
"However elder, you are also at fault as we were brought here under false pretences..." she said her voice still gentle as she brought her hand up hearing what Seren had said to her nodding bringing up her hand and moving it towards Pangu, a magic circle that starts out red and changes to a baby pink, the aroma of strawberries seem to come from the circle as deep red and baby pink rose petals come flourishing forward towards Pangu before starting to float around him as if trapped in a wind current knowing with some effort it may help Saki too. "You could have just sent out a request for help acquiring knowledge, most magic knights and even some citizens would happily help with that, but on top of wanting that knowledge, you also ask us to bow as if we are insignificant which we may be to someone like yourself and those in this temple but we also deserve respect to walk in proud to help another learn." she continued her voice respectful but soft and saddened "You also demand an offering before even agreeing to see those you wish knowledge from. I could understand if people were seeking an audience with you as you are the emperor here from my understanding and of course, deserve tithing for your time is valuable." she sighed shaking her head knowing that in the end, she might end up rubbing them up the wrong way again but still she needed to get it off her chest as she was sure even elders had things they could learn. "I know my words mean very little, I'm still a child in the eyes of yourself and your son but it is food for thought." she said her tone showing she knew that she still had a lot to learn but hoped the elder dragon would help her learn why his court was run such a way and why there was a need for such deceit in the pursuit of knowledge.
"Just because I don't like battle Seren doesn't mean I can't read the tide of it, it was a skill my mother and father taught myself and my elder brother Ozma." she explained with a smile "My father and elder brother are both crimson lions and my mother is in the same squad as you." she notified the other proudly. "No battle should be drawn out longer than it needs to be Seren, it can cause the tide of battle to turn against you and could cause a lot of unneeded injuries or damage." she explained further to help the sagely witch understand her thoughts. She understood that she had just taken on the strain of the healing but really all she could do was help everyone keep getting hurt from the initial heat, there was nothing she could do about the damage they were taking from hitting their opponent or the damage he was throwing back, she felt so feeble and useless at that point but she knew she had to keep going forward as nothing good would come from self-pity.
"I'll do my best Seren, help the others keep safe and let's end it quickly." she said with conviction in her voice once more, sure she didn't want to be in this situation but there was no backing out of it now, if she did it could mean the difference of them getting through this ordeal slightly scorched or getting full-on cremated like a piece of overdone toast. She could only watch as she saw what Seren was doing with a high dose of anxiety, she knew however that risks occasionally were needed to throw the enemy off balance for a brief moment and in that moment victory could be won but something told her that it may be harder than that, all she could do was wait and see from where she was sat hoping that her mana would hold out long enough to see this through.

Tchazzar was pleased with Seren’s control over her magic. The way she caused a flash by countering Beliath’s change of direction of her spellmade him nod in approval. The witch, as talkative and loud as she was, definitely had great magical prowess and used an element that he found unique. Beliath winced at how loud the blond Blue Rose was when she shouted. God if he could kill her he would. But she was performing impressively, and would be a boon to his father’s court without a doubt. As she flew high up within the temple walls, the large dragon’s eyes narrowed. As she descended she created a beautiful spiral, almost like a dance of power that made Tchazzar note that this would indeed have been more than a worthy offering for an audience. Not only that, but he was impressed. No matter how tough the circumstances.
When Vael was called out to watch and be impressed, the minotaur would let out a chuckle. He could see himself becoming good friends with the overly eager and enthusiastic witch. He liked her. She would be a breath of fresh air in this mostly dragonine and dry-fire court of the old desert empire. [break][break] Hinota on the other hand…Hinota surprised the eldest dragon as he sat behind his son. She’d retained her noble respect after her outburst, and while a part of his annoyance remained, he buried it down underneath his calm and calculated exterior. [break][break] “I believe you misunderstand, young one. I wanted to see how the treatement of people in need had changed over the centuries I was asleep. Many people in the past would rather deal with their own problems before helping a young boy in his time of need. Yet the Magic Knight and the young blond chimp responded quickly. Their sense of duty is admirable, but your skills individually and your personalities as your own people are what I was curious to see. You have a witch, two nobles and somebody who grew up in circumstances quite unkind. You’re all very different and are driven by individual interests. But you persevere, you come together to aid a boy in need who is following a selfish goal. That tells me more than you can know.” The eldest dragon paused and tilted his head as he watched Beliath puff up and take Seren’s attack straight on; he noted the chipping of bright red scales and the growl escaping his son. “We are not testing the way people respond to dragons, we’re testing the way human interactions have progressed.” [break][break] “The offering and kneeling…well…” The dragon lord emperor quieted for a moment. His eyes stared down at the people inside of his chamber. ““Yes…I suppose it is my Pride that still demands I be treated as before.” There were a few gasps around the room by the members of the ruling council. “Your words are taken into consideration…perhaps I will…loosen my demands for future cases. The times have changed, after all…” His voice boomed over the room as she spoke, making little pieces of rock and lava to quake around the ground surface. When it came down to his son, Tchazzar broke into a laugh. He loved his blood and flesh very dearly. [break][break] “I believe you misunderstand. Beliath is young, but he represents physical power and fury. It is a mindset I have long since lost, and sometimes his military strategizing is brutal enough to have won me entire kingdoms. As a contrast my daughter, Valdra’gaera, represents underhanded tactics, strategic ploys and usurping thrones with illusions, poisons and highly skilled magical rituals. I have let them take on their own paths in life, and while they directly compete with each other, they provide me with valuable insight into all of my options. I always have tried to take the most noble and negotiatory approach with other kingdoms, but people have always feared dragons. They’ve always found us monsters to hunt. Same with minotaurs, succubi, devils and even angels. My council was made with so many different point of views that they battle and then meld into the needed outcome.” The large scaly black paw motioned around the room at the rest of the shadowy figures on the spikes. [break][break] Beliath on the other hand was holding his own ground, but taking damage from Seren. He was getting annoyed at her lack of despair and need to give up. He’d attempt to strike her down with one of his large leathery wings, moving at 20 m/s for intermediate damage. He would then attempt to swipe at the broom that Hinota was on at 20 m/s and slap Pangu with his tail, moving at 15 m/s. The paw for intermediate damage and the tail for junior. He looked angry and his movements were a bit less coordinated and more emotional. [break][break]

This Round:Beliath took Seren's powerful damage straight on. It seemed like it chipped a lot more scales than usual and the dragon was getting angry. It definitelydidn't just tickle. Everyone is still taking junior damage from FIRE FIRE FIRE. Pangu has a warning for missing a round. Tchazzar was observing the party curiously, clearly impressed by both Hinota and Seren. Hinota remained hovering on her broom as the elder dragon spoke to her, explaining further what he was trying to learn and why he was trying to see it. She had to wonder what exactly would drive him to such lengths, she knew every race, culture, kingdom and even individual person could be selfish and act irrationally at times. Her recent outburst proved that but most people learned from their mistakes apologised and tried to better themselves from the experience. She tilted her head for a moment as he spoke of the magic knights and who she guessed was Pangu sighing "With due respect your highness, it might not be polite to call someone a chimp they may take offence to it even within your hallowed halls." she wasn't trying to cause ripples but she knew some people could be sensitive about being called names even in an endearing manner or as a superior to someone lower in the food chain. She was sure that nothing was meant by it but all the same, even if Pangu didn't take offence to it the next person may do and it could end up with someone being hurt or worse someone's demise.
Hinota lowered herself a little so she might be at the same eye level as the elder dragon and nodded to his words "It is true that we are all different but the same could be said for you, your family and court..." she explained softly "Like us I am sure there are differing opinions and points of views and some times clashes due to it but when duty calls or in the time of need petty squabbles and quarrels are swept aside for the greater good and continued survival for you all." she finished a gentle smile on her face "Strange and wonderful things can bring people together... I believe that this expedition can be classed as one of them." she chuckled covering her hand with her mouth, she didn't mean anything bad by her last statement but when they had started this task they thought it was too help a young teenager get to a temple so he could save his families dying business, none of them could have foreseen this coming and though it had its fair few bumps in the road they had each gotten stronger in themselves and with the others they had travelled with if nothing else there was always that silver lining.
She was caught off-guard hearing a growl come from their former guide as Seren's attack seemed to do some real damage to him, without realising it her eyes started watering, she was crying at the damage that their current opponent had taken. Her attention turned back to the elder dragon, it was clear she was upset and though she felt the rage in her again she was able to push it down, she knew it was a bad feeling and knew she would need to let it out eventually but now wasn't the time or place for such a nasty feeling or what it could do. "You didn't have good interactions with other races before?" she asked her tears quickly drying from the immense heat as they rolled down her cheeks until they stopped completely. It was then he spoke of the kneeling and tithing that he had pretty much always demanded since he ascended to his throne she would have to presume, even she could agree there was a time and place for it and within reason, she could see why it was done this time but times had changed and if he wanted people to be more open to him and his court then he would need to learn to bend a little. He had every right to request these things if people were wanting an audience with him and his court but if he invited people to his court bowing, of course, could be understood as a sign of respect but the tithing likely wouldn't be due to the circumstances.
She blinked in surprise when he said he would think on perhaps loosening that protocol, it seemed by the gasps of others in the chamber that it had blind-sighted them too. She smiled nodding and bowed a little "Thank you for taking my words into consideration your highness, it is important for everyone to change and evolve as time flows on after all if we remain stuck in our ways then we are doomed to meet our demise ahead of what would normally be natural." her tone was again respectful as she had spoken to the elder dragon, she was glad that she could see that he may have to change too for the current times "Also, there is nothing wrong with having pride, it is when a person that is too prideful that they can fall from the light and end up in the darkest of despair" she said warmly she remembered many fables and stories about nobles, heroes, commoners, gods and the likes that had let their pride get the better of them and it had always ended terribly and she didn't want that for anyone as everyone she had met from this court thus far though having a different outlook to her seemed to be extremely nice people and that included their current enemy who seemed to have a distaste for them.
She listened to him once more and closed her eyes "Physical strength and fury, they can be ample weapons in the right hands but when a person allows it to control them or they become overly emotional then the once strong weapon becomes a loose cannon that can and will do damage to its own allies in a blind rage, sometimes with irreversible results." she stated as if reading from a book, this wasn't the case she just remembered her brother being told those words by their father when she was younger, her eyes then opened. "There are ways to use military tactics without getting brutal, no kingdom really wants a war as it is costly in both yul and loss of life, the kingdom we currently find ourselves in is a peaceful one for the most part so negotiations would work better than an all-out war as you've said times have changed." she said warmly she could understand his daughter's way of doing things even if she found a distaste for it, it was more like a scalpel in the fact only those that needed to be taken out were thus sparing a lot of innocent life. "I can't say I have a taste for espionage but between the two evils it is the better one as only those who are meant to get hurt do, there are of course going to be casualties even with a scalpel but it's less severe than with a warhammer." she said showing her opinion that if something bad was to happen which she saw as the better option as it saved more lives, she understood that warhammers also had a time and place to be used but honestly shouldn't be the first option on offer.
She continued to filter through what he had said and nodded "You are a wise ruler to always go down the peaceful route first, unfortunately, people don't always do what is in their best interests and act in haste on emotion." she said knowing that she recently had been guilty of that with her outburst "Then when a more aggressive path is taken they cower acting as if they never had a chance and that the diplomacy never happened and that they're the victims in the whole ordeal." she had seen that with many noble families over the years, her own family had even been a target at one point, the idiot opposing family had seemed to have forgotten that the heads of the family were magic knights and with the code that the family themselves followed would never be the original aggressors due to the ramifications that would have gone with it. "People fear what they don't understand." she said simply to the last part "The unknown scares us regardless of race and very few want to spend the time understanding those things, races, people etcetera that they fear." she feared the dark power in her that Zaven said that she possessed, the one that had almost taken his life when he had taken the life of an owlbear, she didn't want to understand that power because she didn't want to possess it but knew eventually it would get to a point where she'd have to or it would destroy her but that was future Hinota's problem.
Even with the attack that Seren had delivered Beliath had stood his ground and other than the broken scales it was like nothing had actually happened, well that was until he got angry. None of them were giving him the reaction he wanted and it seemed like it was now getting to him, she had no idea why as wasn't their solidarity and individual attitudes what they wanted to study? it was all so strange to her that he was like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum because he wasn't getting his way. She was about to say something but before she could she seen a clawed hand aiming right for her and where she tried to dodge she couldn't move fast enough so was struck from the broom making her cry out in pain but managed to grab back onto it at the last second making her dangle from it. She was in immense pain but hung there for a moment "Seren, Pangu... a change in tactics is needed." she called out to her two companions with a smile as she moved to lower her altitude, as she was pretty much on top of where Seren had damaged before dropping onto Beliath and winced due to not only the great amount of heat he was giving off but the damage she was seeing. "We're told to fight the way we see fit, that there is no wrong or right way..." she knelt down removing her own mark after placing one onto Beliath's injury knowing it be slow but it would heal him over time "The strong can afford to show mercy even to an enemy." she said quietly looking to Pangu and Seren, she had no idea if this would work but she wanted to try. "Seren, you have a stronger healing spell than me right? Mind lending me a hand this wound looks really bad." she called out to the sagely witch, she knew the three would still have to be on alert but hoped they would follow her lead and end this fight now showing they weren't like those in the past that hunted them and they were capable of the compassion they were long since deprived of.

[nospaces] Pangu could only watch as the broom in his hands burnt away into nothingness upon touching the dragon's scaly skin. He knew that coming into contact with his foe would cause some damage, but he didn't think it would be enough to destroy Seren's weapon with a single touch. Surely her golems were sturdier than this. The beatings he'd seen the witch give with her trusty steeds were proof enough of that. The broom must have been damaged in a previous fight without him noticing. It was the only thing that made sense to Pangu as to why this would happen so suddenly [break][break] While the dwarf was trying to process the absurdity of his weapon falling apart in his hands Beliath continued his assault on the group. Pangu seemed to be a particular target of his rage as the dragon attempted to swipe at him with one of his paws. He was too distracted by his situation to notice the attack coming his way and took the full force of his opponent's attack. The swipe easily sent the small man flying across the room. He hit the ground with a loud thud and tumbled for some time before finally stopping. [break][break] For a few moments, Pangu lay there on the ground doing little more than coughing. After his fit died down some he tried to assess the damage caused by Beliath. The attack wasn't enough to break his mana skin, but just barely. If not for the Spells placed on him to sustain his health he would have been in much more trouble. Not that the stronger of the two lasted for long before Seren dispelled it to deal a heavy blow on their foe for massive damage. It seemed like a good enough trade-off. He wasn't in any immediate danger of dying and he'd like for this to be over with sooner rather than later. While it hurt to admit most of their damage was done by Seren and having her tied down with healing was causing the fight to be a slog. [break][break] Meanwhile, Hinota was floating around having a pleasant conversation with the elder dragon. While Tchazzar had said some interesting things before he had little time to pay attention to him droll on during combat. Even now he mostly tuned out his words. Good thing too or Pangu would be ranting right about now. [break][break] He didn't have much to rest after his coughing fit had completely died down, however. The dwarf looked up to see a rather large tail coming his way. Pangu quickly swung his arm in the direction of the incoming tail and unleashed a Spell. “Arbuda!” Once again a blast of chilling wind burst out from his body. The knockback caused by the Spell would slow down the assaulting appendage just enough for Pangu to roll out of the way. [break][break] It was then that he heard Hinota call out to him. He quickly scrambled to her side and what happened next was something he never could have expected. She started healing the dragon. Of course, she would. Whatever. If it kept them alive and let them end this then may as well try it. Still, Pangu made sure to keep an eye on Beliath just in case. [break][break] WC: 542 | TWC: 8196 [break][break]

Targets enveloped by the spell will heal one intermediate health level per post. This spell is also capable of potentially cleansing debuffs based off of Seren's control. If applied for three posts, this spell can grow back small digits on a person.
This spell also provides an "interception fire" effect. When those enveloped by these runes are attacked, the spell will provide an interception counter in the form of an ethereal spiral of runes capable of clashing with incoming damage. If the originator of the attack is in range and the clash succeeds per normal attack rules, then the attack may carry on and potentially deal up to intermediate rank damage to the attacker. This spell may only make 1 + 1 Counterattack for every 30 control Seren possesses.
As an Ethereal Spell, each target affected will lose 5 mana which will be granted to the caster. Each target may only be affected by this spell's drain once per round. (In the case of this spell, this effect is optional)
Ethereal Spells have the unique power to bypass any objects or structures in their path, though the spell drops a tier in overall power and strength. This can be thwarted by spells whose power or durability stat (depending on the spell in its path) is +5 than the user of this magic’s power stat. These spells cannot bypass structures or creations that are of higher rank than the spell itself.
Seren may create 1 additional Fairy Compact for every 30 control she possesses.
Seren may also sculpt the counter attack to avoid affecting 1 + 1 additional targets for every 30 control she possesses. This will cause the spell to lose 20 Power.

To reaffect a target, Seren must fire at it again.
Targets struck by the spell will suffer intermediate rank damage.
As an Ethereal Spell, each target hit will lose 5 mana which will be granted to the caster. Each target may only be affected by this spell's drain once per round.

“Nihaha~ uh oh~”
She’d made a pretty sound strike, and to be honest, she’d done far better than she expected, but it had also made the dragon very very angry. The dragon’s wing thwhapped outward as the dragon roared, it was like a smash attack from a certain video game and Seren went flying… also like a certain video game...
...but not before attempting to parry the strike with one of her brooms.
*smash*
The broom shattered leaving her with one good one and a great deal of turbulence as she flew around the room like a drunken mosquito. Eventually, she made land, skidded, and came to a stop with her back against one of the walls or statues of the chamber. Seren had no idea where she was as she comically used her broom as a walking stick and looked around her. Her vision was still swimming.
“Ni~ha~ha~ow~~~”
Gradually, Seren found her bearings. Perhaps Hinota’s soothing voice was its own source of healing. Seren continued making her way back to the conflict by using the broom as a walking stick. “~~~Thaaaaaat’s the ol’ pepper boy~~~~~ thaaaaaat’s the ol’ slugger~~~ niho~”
~~Nihaha~ I see the strategy now~ Hinny is going to put them to sleep with a long speech then I’ll~~~ Nih---oh~ nih~ohhhhhhhh~
Gradually Seren’s faculties returned and she began to hear what her bosom companion was actually saying.
~Nihaha~ uh oh~~~
The sagacious witch thought for the second time. In her own mind, Seren had been doing her best to follow the law of sacred hospitality, something very important in her instincts as a far traveler. Essentially it boiled down to this: so long as she was not harmed (treated as a proper guest), Seren would follow the rules before her so long as they did not violate her person. A guest should be afforded kindness and a certain immunity, and in return, the guest does something to return the favor. What Seren was witnessing, however, was something completely different.
“Nihaha~ what is this aura~? ~Could this be the legendary ‘saint mode’ which surpasses the likes of the standing of the great sage~ niho~? ~Bodhisattva Acceleron~?~! ~niho~!?”
The witch (who may or may not have been suffering a concussion) coughed the heat and dust out of her lungs as she resummoned both of her brooms.
“Panguchi~ here niho~”
Sending one broom over to her OTHER bosom companion, Seren boarded the remainder and hovered over to Hinota. The witch offered a great big sigh. She was very tired, and frankly, a little worried for Hinota.
~Saint Mode leads to many things unnatural~ niho~ love and world peace~ but it typically costs the life of one who uses it~ niho~ and I don’t wanna see that happen niho~ not one bit~~~
“~Ethercanon Magic~~~ Fairy’s Compact~!”
There were two targets for this healing/counter attack spell. The first, of course, was Hinota. The second however, only vaguely surprised herself. Seren had never been fighting to kill, but even so, the matter of this duel had not yet been settled. Seren took a deep breath and shouted.
“Nihaha~! Because I am very wise I know~! That this young lady with her ultimate mama smile has exhibited the greatest strength here today~! And though my maneuver was downright beautiful~ perhaps even the most beautiful so as to say that if this were a Witch Arts Refine that I would would have been the clear winner~ Niho~ but~! ~As any witch~ nay~ any living creature knows~~~~ NO ONE IS STRONGER THAN MAMA~! ~This is no sage’s insight~! Niho~! This is what each and every creature knows from its original breath~!”
Standing on her broom like a tightrope, Seren put both hands on her hips and gave a great big nod with furrowed brows.
“There are good mamas~ and there are bad mamas~ ---BUT MAMA IS ALWAYS STRONGEST~ NIHO~!”
The cacophonic witch shouted with puffed cheeks. She was like a baby now.
Combat Summery: 1) Seren blocks wing attack with broom and loses it, she also takes one junior heat damage. 2) Seren recasts broom spell to bring number back to 2. 3) Seren casts Fairy's Compact on Hinota and Beliath. This heals them both intermediate damage. Seren sculpts the counterattack portion of the spell so it does not trigger on either of them. (-20 power for the spell.)
Hinota spoke a lot. She had a lot of opinions, a lot of topics that she found her opinion valuable on. Tchazzar listened, and disregarded some while accepting others. She was the true definition of a noble. A princess even. With all the good and the bad parts. He was rather glad Valdra’gaera hadn’t grown up with the need to always butt in everywhere, even if Beliath saw it otherwise (his sister always spoke too much anyways). When she changed the combat tactics after taking a swipe from his son, however, Tchazzar raised an eyebrow. [break][break]
Beliath was anger. He was fury. He was savagery and combat madness. His title was the Incarnation of Power and his strength was nearly unrivalled by anyone in court and yet these…these adventurers dared to stop fighting back? One of them even started screaming about their mom? Sometimes…sometimes Beliath swore that he was surrounded by idiots. Even his sister could understand that you’re meant to give someone a fight when you ask for one. Yet, when all of his enemies stopped attacking and one of them started healing him instead, Beliath found all of these humans…beyond saving. His eyes stared down at the humans scornfully as his magic chipped away at them, slowing their movements, boiling the water out of their blood. Yet they had the audacity to refuse to fight him.
The Incarnation of Power had never faced enemies quite like these. He preferred armies trying to brutally slay him, dragon hunters, assassins not…kids. One of them couldn’t survive a war in his army if her life depended on it. And so the dragon with the blood red scales turned around to his father, practically shaking with anger as he said. [break][break]
“They’re yours.” He gave the three mages a slap with his tail, one that wouldn’t deal damage to them, but it clearly displayed the dragon’s annoyance. He lifted his large form up into the air, before some sort of magic seemed to take him, a transformation perhaps, that turned him back into a pouting Toby, now sitting on one of the elevated rocks long the other council members. [break][break]
Tchazzar’s loud voice boomed through the hall, his laugh dispelling the harmful magic. It seemed as if all of the heat in the room was absorbed back into the large elder dragon as he lay down comfortably in his lava. [break][break]
“My my my…Well alright…now you’ve given my son new things to scheme about with my daughter…albeit in a very vexed manner…All things considered, you’ve passed through my little set of trials, so you may collect your rewards from my treasure trove. Congratulations… Once you’re done, you may take your leave from whence you came. Vael will escort you through the desert.” [break][break]
All Adventurers may roll for 4 loot items in discord (should be 3 but Saki quit so I’m giving you hers…)
[break][break]
<THE END>[break][break]
Requirements for this part: [break][break] Do your exit post and then roll your dice in discord for your rewards. [break][break] 250 words each minimum
Seren was scooted like a wad of waste paper, and just like that combat was ended. Seren was just a little surprised that they were not in fact all dead.
~So the gamble of Saint Mode was successful~ Niho~ but I feel like it was just barely~~~
“Nihaha~ everyone still have their faces~?”
She asked after the ceremonies were over. She looked over Hinota and Pangu each to see that they were both still in one piece.
“Hey~ Hinny~ it looks like you really made your point~ niho~ but do me a favor and never to that again~ Nihaha~ it’s not very good for my heart~ my life is one thing but I don’t wanna see you lose yours~ I say this both as someone older and as someone shameless invoking the right of big sister mode~ you may have been a strong mama for a moment~ but I won’t lose~ Niho~”
Seren pouted while wagging her finger.
“~So put Saint Mode under lock and key until you’re really seeing something worth dying for~ Niho~ I say this because I am wise~ but I’m sure that there's at least one person who values you more than the world~ wink wink~ but I bet it’s at least two~ Niho~!”
Seren seemed to have already made herself at home as she conducted her own mini debriefing. Not that she was planning on staying, her promise involved her doing the opposite. She had a bit of future tribute to offer. Actually, probably more than a bit.
~I’d probably be in a lot of trouble if I forgot that~ Niho~ but what am I gonna tell Captain Lazuli...~~~
Suddenly, Seren broke out into a cold sweat. Just as the great dragon had emitted a terrifying wave of heat, it was almost as though an equally terrifying wave of cold had struck her from somewhere just a little nearer to home. Surely that was just her imagination. Surely…
*gulp* *niho~*
The words ‘dragon diplomat~’ and ‘not the face niho~!’ collected on the tip of the witch’s tongue for later…
Looking now at Pangu, Seren gave a thumbs up.
“We did it niho~ but you seem very very tired~ shall we go look at our shinies and be on our way~~~~?”
As Seren bounced on the syllables of that last word her gaze wandered from Pangu to Toby.
~Nihaha~ I feel like they’re almost making the same face~
“Haaay~ Tobyyy~ I have things to do but then you can tell me all about the neat neat desert after~~~kay~~? Let’s play again~! Niho~!”
She shouted while waving her arms in large arcs over her head. She did it half to tease him, but at the same time, she really did need to learn a great deal more about the region. Especially if she was going to have to navigate her way back here alone…
Nihaha~ everyone came here wanting something~ and it feels like nobody got it~ a solution where no one is satisfied and yet it's still a happy ending~ Mr. Tchazzar is not to be underestimated~ niho~ sage’s insight~
-That was Seren's final thoughts on the subject. At least, for now.

Hinota knew very little of her opinions would be taken into consideration, she had much learning to do herself and that came with time, in honesty she had no idea just how long she would be within the world but she did intend on growing as much as she could before her lives light was snuffed out. She didn't honestly care how her change in tactics was taken, she wanted the fight to stop, in fact, she honestly was over the entire desert, the temple and its inhabitants. She would have rather taken another beating from her parents than be there right now. When she was satisfied enough healing was done she would drop the spells just as the heat faded only to get a slap from their opponent's tail to indicate that he was pouty because they seemingly had spoiled his fun. All she could do is watch as he flew up and transformed into Toby once more
"I hope we can meet each other again Toby." she said waving to the pouting boy on high after the elder dragon spoke, "Thank you but I need nothing you are willing to give." she said bowing slightly before bowing and walking out of the chamber to wait for the others in front of the temple. This experience had given her to think about, to say the least and she had even made a few people she could call friends even if they were on opposite sides of the scale but that's what it was to be human she expected. "The differences make us beautiful and strong in our own way." she whispered to the now setting sun.

[nospaces] Pangu grunted and fell forward onto the ground when the dragon's tail hit him. He glared at the now human-looking Beliath. The slap didn't hurt his body as much as it did his pride. 'Impetuous brat. Just because you didn't get your way you feel the need to take it out on others. The privilege of the naturally strong. I bet if you weren't a dragon you wouldn't be acting like this.' He was starting to think that the dragon's young appearance in his human form wasn't a coincidence. [break][break] And what did the father do once his son whipped his currently pacifistic enemies? He laughed. Pangu wasn't sure why he expected any different from him. The group was just a toy for his son to play with while he watched in amusement. Why should Tzacchar care if his experimental playthings broke when Magic Knights were a dime a dozen? He'd likely just send out one of his children to find more. [break][break] “I AM very tired Seren.” Seren is right in assuming that the dwarf wore a similar expression to Beliath. He returned her thumbs up with a frown and playfully stuck his tongue out at her. Pangu said the next bit through chuckles. “Come on. Let's pick our share and go home.” [break][break] At least the heat had finally died down and they were free to leave. Pangu didn't care whatever the dragons thought of the group. He was just glad that this ordeal was over with and he was allowed to leave. Not without picking his share of the loot, however. Unlike Hinota he didn't plan on walking away empty-handed after all the trouble he went through to get this far. [break][break] Pangu picked his staff up off the ground before looting the treasure room for his rewards. Once belonging to a princess, Ghyr Maryaa is a shawl that is known throughout the ancient world as a mystical object. It was a gift to the princess by a noble suitor, a token of his love, as well as an item to be used when faced with unprecedented danger. For you see, the princess was a target, the last of her line, and the only heiress to her fortune.
Woven in silk and imbued with Ethereal magic, the shawl would be the princess' most prized possession. Until her caravan came across a dragon hungry for its next meal. The shawl would find itself taken into the dragon's hoard, unused and collecting dust. It was there that Seren would find the shawl as though it was calling to her as though it were an old friend.

Cosmic Solar staff
Rank & Element: Junior | Solar
Class & Type Magical Weapon
Magic Specializations: Attack
Appearance & Lore:
Long ago there was a powerful mage that could manipulate the power of the sun. He was a kind old man, well-intentioned and god-fearing...one who always put the others before himself and worshiped the golden sphere in the sky daily. Sadly, others grew jealous of the elder man's ability and war would brew. A band of hooligans would come time and time again to fight the old mage in order to steal his magic from him. It wasn’t until the mage found out that he could lock his two most powerful spells within a weapon, before he finally hid from the thieves. Unfortunately, just after his magic was sealed away, the man was stabbed in the back by the hooligans that had broken into his home. But they were unable to decipher the way the staff worked and died from a Sun Curse about a week after.
Hundreds of years later, the being known as Tchazzar, The Jaws of Fire, stumbled upon a staff in a random curio shop and thought to acquire it for his armory, keeping it there every since.
This item has a unique way of being activated. The user will spin the staff around as fast as they can, and then stop the staff with their foot. Unlike any normal item, whenever this item makes contact with the users foot it will feel like a light tap with a small ting noise following it. The staff will begin to glow in the users mana before a bright solar like star will begin to form in a sphere around the user that is 5 meters in diameter. From there the user can point the staff, or their hand, outwards. The solar star would then begin to grow a little bright before a stream of solar flare shoots out of the sphere towards the direction the user pointed. If anyone comes in contact with this flare will deal juniors worth of damage. It also travels at a speed of 10 meters per second at a distance of 10 meters in area. The item can be activated for 5 rounds with a 4 round cooldown stage where it can’t be used.

Tamashi, your relic, donated to you by Zaven [Made my Yours Truly, your GM]:
Lady Madness
Rank & Element: Junior|Blood
Class & Type: Relic Weapon
Magic Specializations: Hex and Curse| Physical Reinforcement
Appearance & Lore:
“There is always danger that comes with beauty.”
The nobles residing within a young king’s court didn’t know the danger of those words until one Lady Cherry walked into their faraway royal palace and bowed before their king. Her locks were like liquid gold, her skin perfect like the most beautiful white marble, and her lips were as red as the magical roses that only bloomed once a year, at midnight. Her mannerisms were pristine, and her beauty found her a place within the hearts of all men, even the king. He became cold, cruel, only cared for Lady Cherry and gave her everything she wanted…He even went to war for her because she wanted Tchazzar’s riches…
It was brutal, a trench war in its worst sense. No side was winning, and despite the fact that the king’s armies were tired and lacking in resources, he pushed them to continue. To continue until they saw him as a mad king…A conspiracy took place, where the sister of the King came to Tchazzar, begging him to end the war. And he did, in a day the Jaws of Fire and his council swept through the kingdom, letting the unhappy peasants deal with the king as they wished…yet Lady Cherry appeared before the Dragon Emperor the very next day, with that same bow, those same golden locks, those same luscious lips…A seduction that should’ve worked but didn’t. The sister of the late king had warned Tchazzar of the woman who turned her once great and beloved brother into a mad tyrant. He let the woman remain in his grand temple, but showed no interest in her. Not until she started attempting to tempt the members of his council to betray him. The Jaws of Fire’s punishment was swift and harsh. He turned to the strongest magician he had in his court, and asked them to curse Lady Cherry to suffer forever in her pining of all the world’s power and riches. Her form, he found next morning in the council room.
A long, thin and light rapier that always appeared to be covered in blood upon first glance… only those that bother to touch it find that the blood, while still bright red and fresh-looking, is completely dried down (and also impossible to remove.) A single beautiful rose sprouts from where the hilt meets the blade, one that only fully opens its petals once the blade tastes blood. The blade only welcomes a woman as its master, as all men that have ever touched it have received large cuts from both the hilt and the blade.
The accepted owner of the Dragon Dancer Daggers naturally attains the Sinister Magic Perk while wielding them.
The best way to defend yourself from one person’s offense is to attack their strengths. The Lady Madness can send forth a large wave of crimson-red blood petals (with a range of 25 meters) towards her mistress’ enemies, suppressing buffs and healing while also debuffing their endurance by giving them a blood illness. This causes damage on their next hit by a factor of 25% of the strength of the debuff.
The amount of petals created by this spell go off of the Ammo Rules.

Appearance & Lore:
Found deep within the bowels of a giant red lava dragon's lair, it sat waiting for its saviour and a worthy successor. Praetorius was once an armor worn by a member of the Royal Guard nine centuries ago, before the time of the Clover Kingdom. A leader of a thousand men, the Royal Guard had laid siege on the dragon's lair, and lost. All that is left of his is this armor, collecting dust within the bowels of the dragon's lair.
Ornate, beautifully carved, and light, the armor is easily worn and does not impede much against a body's natural movements. Forged with magical embers, it retains the magical properties of the element. Do not be fooled by it's old design, it is still a very durable, and holds an ability that would be the envy of warriors. It, however, did not save its previous owner from the dragon's wrath.

Pangu, your Relic, Made by Yours Truly, this GM:
Dragon Dancer Daggers
Rank & Element: Junior|Sound
Class & Type: Relic Weapon
Magic Specializations:Sensory|Attack Creation
Appearance & Lore:
Once used by an ex-lover of Tchazzar’s, centuries before the council was formed, the Dragon Dancer Daggers belonged to a skilled elven assassin known as the Bronze Rose. The assassin had killed over a hundred people with the semi-sentient magical relic blades, telling the dragon that they had been in the family for centuries and were crafted from the scrap leftover metal from a magical harp belonging to a great musician. One evening, when the Bronze Rose didn’t return to the Dragon’s chambers, the Jaws of Fire found the daggers casually placed on the top of his treasure pile and kept them there, as a memory of an old friend.
The Dragon Dancer Daggers come alive when they accept a new wielder as their master. Their adornments of bronze around the grip are sharp to the touch of the unwanted, usually causing anyone who tries to pick them up horrible deep wounds, as if they fell into a rose bush from 20 meters above. Once a new wielder worthy of the blades comes along and the bronze thorny adornments around the grip smoothen and disappear into the hilt, as if never there.
With craftsmanship unlike any seen currently, the daggers have large holes in the center of their blades, allowing for any skilled and loved master to twirl them in silence or cause a soothing melody, reminiscent to that of a harp to resonate around the area.
Abilities:
The accepted owner of the Dragon Dancer Daggers naturally attains the Watchful Eye perk while wielding them.
