Deep underneath the glorious Royal Palace of Clover, a darkness lurks. This darkness can make the abyss of night seem pale in comparison to its sheer malice. This darkness goes by the name of Malacath, an Arch-Daemon. Currently possessing the body of the former Wizard King Nero, he seeks to rain destruction upon Clover. Today is his day. Today is the promised day of darkness.
Wandering the dark halls, Cedric the Prince of Clover went to visit his Uncle. He often found himself doing this every couple of weeks. Most could not bear the sight of the former King, but he still held onto hope that one day the man he looked up to could be returned to normal. A sigh escaping his thin lips, the blonde Prince placed a slender, pale hand against the rugged walls. It's been a little while Uncle. I know I haven't been visiting as often as I should, but the Kingdom has been in need. I just hope that one day you can return to it. The Prince was a proud man, it was only down here, hundreds of feet underneath the Palace that he found himself truly vulnerable.
Only shards remain of that man now, but today he and I are no longer going to sit here and listen to your pathetic whining. Malacath spat out, growling from the body that appeared to be Nero but was painfully no longer so. Cedric bit his lower lip. I don't know if you can hear me Uncle, but I'm sorr- He was cut off as a branch began to tunnel its way through the cell Nero was locked in. This was impossible. The cell was formed of otherworldly metal resistant to all forms of magic. Even Malacath's magic had been unable to pierce it. How could this be? Cedric summoned two swords of light magic and aimed to subdue his Uncle, but in a matter of seconds it was all over. The cell crumbled under the strength of the branches and vines crushing it, and void magic consumed the room. The Prince was knocked unconscious as portals began to open up all over the palace.
Sitting in his office, Jagen was working on paperwork. The purple haired man was awaiting the arrival of Captains Yuurei and Ardere, as they had both been summoned to meet him. Then, he felt the magic. This dark presence. Someone pierced their defenses with the snap of their fingers. Who wielded such power? The Wizard King need not say anything to his Advisor; Samson. The man nodded and began running down the hall. Encasing himself in Ethereal magic, he felt a pain underneath his eye-patch. Daemon. He knew their presence, these enemies of his. Rushing down the halls, the Advisor aimed to engage the enemy. But back in his office, Jagen stood up for a moment. The red cat of fate leaped onto his desk. What is it? Are you trying to tell me something? This spirit of his who helped him command the red string of fate magic rarely communicated with him. But as the Wizard King turned around to look out his window, he saw a truth that none of them had seen before. It was all so clear now. This was before he was instantly teleported out of his office, nowhere to be found. Where had he gone?
Rushing through the halls, Samson spotted dozens of void portals opening up. Chunks of the Palace were sent into the void. Magic Knights and Royal Guard ran to fight against the Arch-Daemon, but they were instantly thwarted. The former Shining General spotted the hulk of a man known as Nero. Standing there is his ragged clothes, the massive muscular man turned back before tossing his glasses to the ground and crushing them. Nero! Stop! Don't let this Daemon control you! A voice called out to him. This was not the raspy voice of Malacath, but of Nero himself. It had been months since anyone had heard his true voice. It is too late, I'm afraid. This world will be sent into the Void. Samson yelled and unleashed a powerful onslaught of attacks onto a man he respected. Even across the battlefield, he found a massive amount of respect for this man. He did not want to hurt him. This kindness is why after an intense battle, the Void magic overwhelmed him and sent the Ethereal mage through a brick wall before he could unleash his true strength. He could only hope Jagen would deal with this man, but little did he know the Wizard King was nowhere to be found.
Far across the Capital, portals began to open up within Balgon Prison. The Void magic began to burst through the walls of the prison, opening it up into the world. Corrupt flowed out of these portals like a river as the inhabitants of the prison were transformed into minions of Malacath. Fights began to break out between those corrupted, those not, and the prison guards. Hell broke loose inside Balgon and slowly began flooding into the streets. As holes were burst into the Royal Palace, Malacath slowly began to enter his Consumption form. A corrupt type of spirit dive almost. His body changed from that of Nero to a solid dark form with spikes and a tail, befitting that of a Daemon. Standing atop the roof of the Palace, he smiled. Today was the promised day. A dark day.

The Royal Capital. Heart of the kingdom and certainly lived up to its reputation as a grand city. Dwarfs even Silva, the town who houses the squad she was soon to join. She had been here recently as part of a chain of errands for the churches in Hage, so Bryn had an idea of the splendor the city's citizens upheld on a day to day basis. Today, as she was to enter the ranks of the Silver Eagles in the near future, was designated to be a welcome to the ranks sort of spiel. Her Captain-to-be, Yuurei Krane, made it a habit to find ways to go about delivering what needed to be said in the most roundabout methods. Rather than just tell Bryn what was expected for the day visit, the instructions given once they stepped out of the portal was to kill time till he returned. 'Whatever the hell that means.'
Truth be told, she just had no idea what to do until the Silver Eagle captain showed his face again. This high-end town was every bit as foreign to her as the arts she enjoyed. Physical activities aligned themselves to a more modest sort. Since they separated, Bryn had yet to come across any fields for children to run about nor signs of sports. She considered her attire practical but earned some strange glances from the fellow ladies that passed her by. Bryn couldn't help but be a bit self-conscious! Looking over, the ladies of the royal capital surely were more covered up compared to the pugilist. Dresses were the most common sort, though aprons and worker outfits also followed suit. Only the most tomboyish of sorts wore shirts and pants like men, even if that was far more suitable to physical labor than a fluttery piece of fabric. Plus, if trouble came afoot then how would any of those articles help? She mused about the thoughts some more as the day passed and her legs walked about the capital without much of a care.
It was a simple day, yet something about it concerned Bryn. Something that did not sit quite well with the overall pace. People were going about their business and nothing had happened thus far to make her think ill thoughts. As she concluded that all of this was naught but figments of her imagination, then came the action that confirmed her woman's intuition. Screams coming in the direction of the prison, with cries for help from the stationed magic knights posted up somewhere in the capital. Bryn's body sprung into action and she ran towards the sounds of the pleas. A part of her was pleased to get some action going, but another still held that unnerving sensation. She would have to deal with it as her legs dashed towards what would become the second coming to the Fall she remembered.

It was his day off and, for the most part, he had been spending his precious vacancy by gliding a few meters above the capital. It had only been minutes since he had left the Golden Dawn headquarters and thus far had still been pondering on what he should accomplish for the day. He stood on his broom, suspended in mid air, as he watched the nobles go about with their day. He enjoyed the cold breeze as he paused there to ponder, however, moments after, the cold breeze took a sudden stop. The air stood still as dark clouds came rolling in. Rain, perhaps?
"It's oddly dark for this time of day-" His thoughts were cut shortly as screams were heard. He turned towards its direction, a commotion found at Balgon Prison. Faust hurried over and came a tad bit closer, approaching with caution. From his current height, Faust had the perfect vantage point to witness the chaos that ensued. Darkness spewed out of the prison like sludge and, within this darkness, were individuals—dark and twisted, corrupted by the darkness that now came sprawling out the Capital's streets. Upon observation, Faust noticed that these were, in fact, previous guards and prisoners of Balgon.
He clicked his tongue and sighed. It was no simple magic at play, it was demonic in nature, sure enough. Though it wasn't all. More commotion were then heard, explosions and the sound of falling rubble. Again, he hurriedly turned, this time towards the Royal Palace. Chunks of the palace went missing and continued to lose more as he stared blankly at its destruction. He could barely think with all the chaos that suddenly came one after another, adrenaline pumped through his veins, it was time to choose between fight or flight. He turned his attention back towards the prison, briefly assessing the situation, then back again towards the castle. "What-" He uttered, unsure of what to do nor what was happening in the first place.
With what was transpiring, it was the best course of action to first warn the citizens before doing any other action. He lowered himself closer towards the ground with his broom, floating inches above the heads of those down below. "Go! Go! Go!" He exclaimed as he zoomed above the clueless nobles wandering around the Capital. "There's danger near the prison! Please head out immediately! Avoid the Palace as well!" He kept shouting on repeat and herded those nearby to go the opposite direction, a preemptive measure to hopefully avoid any further danger to befall on Clover's civilians.
He then turned back towards the prison after giving his warning for the citizens to evacuate, whizzing across the the sky as fast as he could. On his return nearing the prison he'd witness, the corruption spreading more and more across the streets of clover together those who had fallen to its influence.
Rushing water like thunder reverberated around Flora's room jolting her awake.
"What? Kuku, what's going on!"
Outside, Flora could hear shouts and the sound of boots running through the hallway then suddenly hard knocks on her door. Confused, Flora rushed to the door throwing it open.
"What's happened, kuku?! What's going on!"
"Vice-Captain Flora we're under attack!"
"Attack?! Kuku by..."
"There's no time! The Captain is calling for you! Head to the battlements and prepare for a fight!"
The Blue Rose knight then rushed out to her post. Confused, but understanding the situation Flora quickly got dressed throwing on her dress, shoes, and securing her witch hat on her head. Looking around her room, a messy but functional space, Flora quickly placed some choice items into her bag.
"Kuku, this... to take notes. Something to write with. Umm, umm...., kuuuu... and these! Okay, let's go."
Ready, Flora rushed out of her room to meet Captain Lazuli. Entering the hall, the shouts, orders, and rushing she sound that had woken her were now all the louder.
What is going on, kuku?!
Not wanting to waste any more time, Flora used her Witches' Forest magic to create her own specialized broomstick transformed from a single hair on her head.
"Wha... kuku... what is this?"
Reaching the battlements, Flora was greeted with a scene that she had never thought possible. Raque was gone, swept away in an instant by a wave of unparalleled destruction. Several of the Blue Rose knights could be seen flying above the wreckage looking for survivors while others tended to and healed survivors in the courtyard. This wasn't an attack or any sort of battle, this had been a massacre, and they had been totally unprepared.
Seeing Captain Lazuli, Flora quickly flew to her.
"Captain Lazuli! Kuku, what's happened!"
"We were attacked! This is no natural-"
The Captain was quickly cut off as a deathly cold yet beautiful voice called out like a melody over the tide.
"Come, come brave Clover knights...the Orb of Souls and I are insatiably hungry.”
"Kukukuku, so she thinks attack our town and issue a challenge...."
Flora's gritted her teeth in fury.
"Give me the order Captain, kuku, and I'll bring her back in pieces."
Flora was already beginning to inch forward on her broomstick ready to ride out to war, when she heard the Captain shout at her.
"Flora! This is not your fight."
Dumbstruck, Flora turned to the captain.
"But..."
"This isn't the only area that's been attacked. I'm sending you to the capitol in my stead. I'm needed here to protect these people. We just received word The Captain of the Silver Eagles is leading the defense there."
To Captain Lazuli's right, one of the Blue Rose knights opened a portal directly to the capitol.
Flora looked at the portal, then back at her captain and nodded.
"Understood, kuku."
Flora began to move towards the portal but then heard the captain shout from behind her.
"Flora of the Witches' Forest!"
Turning her head, Flora saw the captain smiling. It was rare for Lazuli to call Flora by her full name unless she was in trouble.
"DO US PROUD!"
Behind the captain, several of the Blue Rose women roared and cheered. Grinning, Flora gave her captain and her squad the magic knight's salute, then rushed through portal into the capitol. Instantly reaching the Clover Kingdom Capitol, Flora snarled. The Captain was right, it seemed like the whole kingdom was under attack. Worse yet...
"Void magic... kuku..."
Flora had faced this sort of magic before and had even built counter measures against it, but she had never witnessed the magic being used on this level.
No matter, kukuku. The squad and the captain are counting on me and I refuse to let them down, kukuku!
Flying up higher so she could be seen, Flora crossed her arms and scowled. She didn't know what kind of enemies she would be facing her today, but that didn't matter.
Kukuku... today they will come to understand the power of a true witch of the Witches' Forest.
Clearing her voice, Flora issued her challenge.
"I am Flora of the Witches' Forest! Kukukuku, this kingdom is under my protection! Any that dare attack come and meet your demise! Kukukukuku!"
Summary: Flora is awoken by attack on Raque, prepares to fight, is told to help defend capitol, is portaled to capitol.

HP: Grand mana skin + Senior health Buff: Intimidating Aura (title), Mana: 185/185 Mana Regen: 45 +10 per enemy hit (world tree) Spell Casting limit: 7 Items held:
Rank & Element: Jr, Blood Class & Type: Relic, Accessory Magic Specializations: Healing, Hex Appearance & Lore: The witch hat of Flora of the Witches’ Forest. Having received the hat as a child the hat is ever present on the little witch’s head, and marks her as a witch of the Witches’ Forest. Unbeknownst to most, Flora has tinkered, experimented, and fiddled with her hat in hopes of giving it abilities much like a certain witch hat created in an experiment by the Coral Peacock’s magical squad.
Having reversed and engineered the Coral Peacock’s process, and in her own mind perfected it, Flora succeeded in imbuing her own witch hat with blood magic. Utilizing techniques extracted from the Coral Peacock’s experiment, as well as pieces of cloth collected from her deceased sister Majolica, a user of blood magic, Flora imbued her hat with some of her sister’s power.
Dubbing her hat the Bloodflow Coronet, Flora believes the hat to symbolize her and her sister’s dream of eventually becoming Witch Queen. Flora believes that this hat will also serve as her crown when she accomplishes her goal. The hat itself is smaller than typical witch hats and is black, purple, or very dark red depending on the light. Flora’s ornamental yellow, green, and black strip runs around the rim as well as a star with a lidless eye pin. Abilities:
While wearing this witch hat, the user gains the perk Cleanse
Cleanse: Twice in a thread, the healing mage may cleanse a target of a single debuff of any kind and of any rank. Once the healing mage reaches Grand, they will be able to do this three times.
Type & Uses: Flow, Active turns 3, Overheat 2 Rank & Specialization: Jr, Healing Mana Cost: 8 | 4 Range & Speed: 25m, 10m/s Stats Affected: Description: This ability causes an orb of red blood veins to surround and connect to the target. These veins transfuse blood into the target healing them while the ability is sustained.
When cast, the red veins sprout up and around from the witch’s hat creating the cocoon around the target.
Type & Uses: Flow, Active turns 3, Overheat 2 Rank & Specialization: Jr, Healing Mana Cost: 8 | 4 Range & Speed: 25 meter range, 10 meter aoe, 10 m/s Stats Affected: Description: Similar to Lifeblood Cocoon only over an area.
When used, this ability creates a sphere or dome of red veins that connect to and heal all persons within the area as long as the ability is maintained.
As AoE healing ability, Lifeblood Scaffold automatically drops one rank, doing nothing at junior.
Type & Uses: Flow, Active turns 3, Overheat 2 Rank & Specialization: Jr, Hex Mana Cost: 8 | 4 Range & Speed: 25m, 10m/s Stats Affected: -healing Description: An insidious ability that curse’s the target’s blood causing the body to reject any healing used on them. When the hex is cast on the target, they suddenly feel themselves stiffen as if afflicted by rigor mortis, though the feeling quickly passes.
When afflicted, if a spell is cast at the same rank but Flora’s power is +5 over the healer’s control, then the heal will have its potency dropped by a single rank (junior cut in half).
If Flora's hex is +10 in power than player B’s control, that buff/healing will be erased completely.
If Flora’s power is +15 over the healers, then that heal will now damage the target equal to a spell one rank beneath the heal’s.
Name of Spell: Witches' Forest Magic: The Braided Broomstick Elemental Type: World Tree Rank &a Spell Type: Intermediate, Attack, Transformation Range & Speed: 20 meters (Range), 10 meters per second (Speed), 2 passengers Mana Cost: 20, 10 Stats Effected: +6 power Applicable Perks: Battle Knight, Elemental Oddity: Blood Description: Flora runs her hands through her hair and pulls a single hair. Using her Witches' Forest magic, Flora transforms the hair into a broomstick made from braided hairs. The broomstick allows Flora to fly as well as fire a single, 1.5 foot projectile for intermediate damage for every round the spell is sustained.
Due to this spell being of the world tree element, this spell is able to naturally steal 10 mana from a person per individual spell that touches them a post.. The attack portion of this spell also makes use of ammo rules.
From studying Majolica's notes, Flora has discovered how to use the transformation aspects of her magic to transform parts of herself. By using these techniques on a single strand of her hair, she can create a broomstick with offensive capabilities. The broomstick looks like a tightly knotted braid of clean hair the same color as Flora's. The brush end of the broomstick is also made of hair but is much more rigid to allow for sweeping.
Offensively, the broom can create spines of tightly woven and hardened hair to fire at enemies. When the broomstick attacks, strands of hair and plant from the broom rise up automatically and begin to quickly braid the projectile together. The process looks similar to thread spooling.

A beautiful day it was, and there were a lot of things to do today. The Wizard King had decided to call upon him once again, and it was to speak about stuff. He figured that it had to do with his reports on the Giant Coliseum that he had explored with Hanami. The appearance of a Daemon taking over a dungeon was surprising and new to Yuurei and apparently it was the same thing for the entire kingdom. He figured it would be a relaxing time within the kingdom and he decided to bring both Kouhei and Sekai with him on this trip as he would leave the base left to Hanami. His trip to the Capital was an easy ride as the Silver Eagle Base was not too far from there. It wasn’t just that, but the young captain would easily teleport him and his cousins into the capital.
It was a beautiful place indeed and it was as lively as it could be. The people within the Capital enjoyed their day without knowing the fact that the former Wizard King was still alive, yet possessed with a Daemon. The problem was, they couldn’t just end that man’s life as easily as Cedric wouldn’t allow it. The noble was fine with that, but he knew that if Nero escaped with that monster inside of him, then the people wouldn’t forgive him or the Wizard King for allowing this to happen. He would shake his head like that would be the last thing he wanted to happen.
Still, he would look to the two of them as he would have a smile on his face. He wore the same outfit as he had been wearing for the past year. He had no shirt on with his mantle on his shoulder, his tattoos being revealed for all of those to see.
“So, I’m going to head to the Wizard King and see what he wants to talk to me about. You guys can go around and do whatever you want during the meantime. If anything you know where to find me, but please enjoy your time here, and stay together. Also if anything happens please do your best to take care of the people here.” He said to both of them.
“Of course, I will be my best behavior. Come on Kouhei.” She would say as she would separate from Yuurei as they were heading off in a different direction.
Kouhei would nod as he would look at Yuurei and knew that his cousin would be fine on his own. Yuurei was now on his own as he started walking towards the location where Jagen was. He remembered that also Bryn was inside of the Capital as well, which meant that he would have to find her after he saw Jagen as well. The people within the Capital would see Yuurei walking around the area as they would wave at him as they had his attention. He would wave at them with a smile on his face, but while walking through the area his face would become serious. This wasn’t a joke, the presence that he could feel through such distance was crazy and he could only tense up from the magical presence. He remembered this feeling as it was the same thing he had felt about three years ago. This was the Daemon and it seemed like he had escaped; how did Yuurei know this? Well, it was simply the prison he was in was suppressing his mana until now.
He started moving towards the direction of where it was coming from, but at the same time, he decided to do something else. The Silver Tempest would do something different as well as he knew that there were a lot of innocent people in the Capital. The noble would surge all of his mana presence out into the opening as he could sense multiple evil signatures appearing throughout the Capital. He would hope that there were other wizards within the Capital who would come to his area, but at the same time, he figured the other evil mana presence would come to his area as well.
“This is fucking stupid, I jinxed this bullshit from happening, and now he’s fucking loose. Well, I figured this would happen, but who would have thought it would be today of all days. I hope that those two help out with the civilians inside of the Capital.” He said to himself as he was waiting for what was going to happen.
It was the dawn of a glorious day within the Capital while Malacath stared down onto the city of panic people. Citizen had noticed the commotion that had started at the Balgon Prison. Corrupt Prisoners had begun pouring out of the building once they saw their way out. The sight was truly glorious to the daemon above. Especially when his corrupt minions began taking sight some pathetic Magic Knights that dared approached the Prison to become brave warriors. What pathetic fools they were. Corrupt prisoners and guards quickly swarmed the few Knights that had come to be protected. Each Knight there had a minimum of three corrupted minions jump them with all the power they could muster. Each of the few quickly fell while their screams were heard amongst the citizens of the Capital. Those Citizens took notice to the screams which led them to become more panicked than they thought they would be. Magic Knights, the people the citizens trust to protect them, quickly falling like flies in a house. Malacath enjoyed each and every moment of the sight that he was blessed to witness. Until he noticed people had began running towards the main entrance of the city. Shaking his head with pity, these humans were fixing to wonder whether they should shit or just fall to the chaos consuming the city. The Arch-Daemon lifted his hand out in front of him to point it at the main entrance. Demonic power began to quickly form around each of the entrances, as well as the Main. Portals then formed that stretched across the entire opening of each spot around the kingdom. Citizens took notice, but continued to run onward anyway. One citizen, at the main entrance, ran right right into one of the many portals that blocked their way. Unfortunately, that citizen had disappeared into a cloud of dust that blew on the other side of the portal barricade.
Many fleeing Citizens took notice to the one that tried running through the barricade of portals. As they saw the persons body turn into dust they would become panicked to the point of wanting to give up hope. To make matters worse, a corrupt prisoner had suddenly fell from above the Main Entrance gate. Then two more had dropped onto the ground as well, and continued more until these corrupt beings stretched from one side of the entrance to another. Not only at the main gate, but at every other exit point to the city as well. Malacath watched as these events had happened to smoothly to his eyes. “This is all going according to plan. These weak creatures will now know true terror. Not a single human will be left alive at the end of this day.” Those words were just thoughts that the Daemon had said to himself as the chaos continued to move across the city. For him, Now it was just a matter of patience as the city continued to fall more and more as each moment went by.
Heading towards the Prison was a Wandering Citizen that had seemed to want to show no fear and help the city. As she headed towards the Prison was when some corrupt prisoners and guards had taken notice to the poor creature. These Corrupt beings had already obtained a massive kill count so far by taking the lives of Magic Knights who tried holding them back at the prison. Now was their time to go in for a delicious victory over a damned fool who wished for death instead of running! There were five corrupt beings that surrounded this Clover Citizen. Each of them watched her very closely for a quick moment as they were overhead on the roofs of buildings. When the moment had started to become right was when a couple of them decided to take their first moves. One of the prisons had created a ball of within the palm of their hand. They would then chunk the flame to where it would land 5 meters in front of the Citizen Target. The fire would smash the ground to where it quickly spread into a wall of flam in the shape of a circle with an area of 40 meters. It’s intention was not to strike the moving citizen, but to stop them from moving any further ahead. After the wall of flames had been created, two other prison guards jumped into the circle with both of their hands covered with gauntlets of pure lightening. They would stare at the Citizen with the look of blood thirst on the opposite end of the circle. Both Prisoners stared for only a brief moment before one dashed straight for the Citizen. It ran at its top speed of 15 m/s with its right arm pulled back. Right when the creature came within a few meters of the Citizen it would thrust its arm forwards to where it sent a strike at its targets head. The other Prisoner had a bolt of lightening formed within its hand. Waiting for the Citizen to make their move.

In another part of the Capital, was a Magic Knight of the Golden Dawn Squad. This Magic Knight was doing their duty by helping the citizens get to safety. Little did this Knight know was that the Citizens would be heading to their doom no matter where they went. The Knight had decided to make his way over towards the Prison to lay his eyes upon the chaos that was Balgon Prison. Below him was around 4 Corrupt Prisoners that had two other Magic Knights in their Sights. Those Knights fought bravely against these Corrupt Prisoners, but ultimately fell to their power of darkness that consumed them. Tearing the Knights apart while throwing away, to the side, what they took from these poor bastard Knights. It wasn’t until one of the prisoners had caught glimpse of something flying over their heads. They had locked their eyes onto the Golden Dawn Member that was bearing witness to what happened with Balgon. The Corrupt beings didn’t take any time to hesitate their assault towards the Golden Dawn member. Two of these prisoners bared the magic of crystal, while the other two held the power of lightening within them. The two prisoners that held lightening each had quickly formed lightening around one of their hands. When the lightening was right for fire they would thrust their arms towards to send one bolt of lightening, each, at the flying Golden dawn. These bolts of Lightening sped through the sky at a speed of 20 meters per second. Aiming to strike the Knight down to the ground. While on the ground was where the other two prisoners had formed sharp crystal shards that covered an area of 20 meters below the Knight above. To where if he fell, he would fall down towards his death by being impelled with crystal shards.

As the chaos spread across the Capital, a group of bigger creatures had made it to another part of the Kingdom. Corrupt Guards had began roaming in groups of two as they laid siege onto the Kingdom Capital. In their sights were a group of Clover Citizens that became unlucky by being spotted by these things. One guard held the power of crystal within him, and its partner held the destruction of lava. The Crystal Guard had formed a sword of pure crystal within their hand. That Guard made its way closer to the group of people with its blade held backwards. Right as it approached two of the citizens was when he thrusted his blade forwards to slash the two towards the ground. Their blood pouring out of their bodies as the rest of the group began screaming at the top of their lungs. While they screamed, lava had began forming behind them to where they would have no where to go. They didn’t notice the lava behind them in time to where two of the Citizens had fallen backwards in it. Others in the group quickly took notice as they watched their fellow citizens get burned alive by the power of the corrupt guard. The only thing they knew to do was scream even louder in hopes of someone coming to save them. Though, one did notice someone flying above them that seemed to be baring the mantle of a Blue Rose member. The others didn’t care to notice the Knight as they did. “HELLPPPPP!!!!!” Was screamed by the Citizen that noticed the Magic Knight. When they did scream was when the Lava Guard turned its head upwards to notice the Knight above. It didn’t hesitate as anything was a target in its eyes. The Creature would then throw its arm upwards towards the Knight as a stream of lava shot towards them off the ground. It flew towards its target at a speed of 40 meters per second. Aiming to knock that Knight down off its broom to where she would smash down towards the ground to their death.

Meanwhile, back at the Palace, was the Captain of the Silver Eagles Squad. The Captain had been summoned to the Wizard Kings chamber for a meeting. During his way to the Chamber was when he Captain had noticed that the City below him had been thrown into pure chaos. People were getting slaughtered left and right. Magic Knights not able to hold off, or protect, the citizens of the Capital from these ramped creatures. While the man was looking out the window would be when mana signatures would become visible to him if he were to sense them. There were Two Corrupt Guards slowly coming towards the Captains general direction, on each side. As they would start to become visible to the Captain would be when Yuurei would notice that both sides of him had Clover Kingdom Workers being pushed backwards towards him. Two of these Corrupt Guards had chains with a sharp point within their hands while the other two was dragging a floor of acid behind them. When the Guards happened to notice the Captain looking through the window was when action began to happen. Both Chain Guards quickly formed up a wall of chains between them and the floor of acid behind them. One Acid Guard decided to reach for one of the Citizens to grab them with a palm of Acid. Screams began to shoot out of the Citizens mouth at an ear piercing volume for them being in such a small space. Both Chain Guards would then quickly summon an extra two chains to their aid. Then, both of them would shoot three chains each towards the Captain that was in the middle of them. One was aiming to constrict the Captains arms while the other was aiming for his legs. These Chains were flying towards the man at a speed of 40 meters per second. Both sets of Corrupt Guards were around 40 meters away from the Captain, and the citizens were in the middle with 20 meters to both the Captain and Guards.

OOC: Citizens and Magic Knights alike are all dying one after the other. These Corrupt Guards and Prisoners are not taking pity or mercy on anyone that they see. Malacath has decided to block off the entrances to the City with Void Portal Barricades, and then Corrupt Guards and Prisoners as well. Can you protect yourselves as well as Citizens as well? You must hope that you can, because the fate of the Capital and Kingdom will hang in the balance.
Note: You must use as much detail within your posts as possible. I will be reading, and the amount of details can determine whether your character will live or dive. So, bare this in mind as you post. Whenever you posted in the last round is the posting order from here on out.
[attr="class","ardereescroll"][break][break]Today was a day of darkness and despair, broken shields and shattered hearts. This was the day that Nero and that bastard Malacath broke forth from their prison to wreak havoc. Ardere knew this day would soon come, but he never anticipated it would arrive today. The fire mage was on his way to the Royal Palace when the void first struck, portals opening above the city. Narrowing his eyes, he felt the explosions from Balgon. As Captain of the Crimson Lions, Balgon Prison was his domain to protect. But he was left with a gut-wrenching choice; go to the Prison or the Palace. From the state of the Palace, he could tell that everyone there was in danger. Not to mention this immense power was coming from there. While he knew both he and Yuurei were summoned to see Jagen, it would take both of them to fight Malacath. [break][break] Bolting across the street, the Captain leaped off of a fruit cart onto the rooftop of a nearby building. Clutching his heart, he felt Salamander's warmth. Alright buddy. I know we have been practicing this technique a lot. It might not be mastered but we can make a go for it, okay?! Running as fast as his legs could carry him, Ardere felt his heart sink into his chest for a moment. Not again. He couldn't lose someone again. Then, the warmth began to calm him. This was his partner's way of reaffirming him that they could do it. Even in their short time together, the Kasai had come to grow fond of his new companion. Alright bud. Let's do this! Leaping from the top of the tallest building his could find, Salamander burst forth from his body. In his initial form, Salamander was not much taller than his master. But as he swooped down, the dragon transformed into his true form with a monstrous twenty meter wingspan. While this sucked a serious amount of mana upfront from Ardere, the Crimson King was willing to share with his partner. Now, Salamander had access to his own mana--even if just a portion of it. True Form, Salamander! Landing on the back of his dragon companion, he grabbed tight onto him. They were flying off towards Malacath now. I'm coming for you, you bastard. [break][break] Ardere spotted Yuurei through one of the Palace windows, but he saw the Arch-Daemon atop the roof. It was a bit of a pickle, but the Silver Eagles Captain could handle himself. The Crimson King's first priority was Malacath. As he flew closer to the Palace itself, Salamander grimaced. That's right, you main spirits have a grudge against the Arch-Daemon yourselves. Well that makes two of us. Taking no time to begin his attack, both the mage and the dragon activated his signature spell once within range--do perform a drive by attack. Four swords were summoned per user, so 8 swords in total were fired off from various directions at the Arch-Daemon. Ardere knew how his void magic worked, not to mention with Nero as his vessel, he was probably a lot stronger than when they last fought. But the anger and grudge against this Daemon was not gone. He remembered their last fight being a draw. The Captain killed his host but knocked himself unconscious. This time was not going to be the same. He had a partner now, a friend he had forged a bond with. After firing off the shots, the mage and his dragon landed on the roof in front of their enemy. He no longer looked like the caring and wise Nero he remembered, just an abyssal, hollow shell of a beast. Nero......tch. Grinding down on his teeth, his blood was boiling. He felt bad for Nero. He was a great Wizard King, perhaps the best. But he sacrificed himself for everyone in the Palace that day, and this is what he got in payment. Dammit! While he was sure the onslaught of swords would take his enemy off guard, they would not kill him. He knew better. We have some unfinished business to attend to, Malacath. Both me and my friend here have one hell of a bone to pick with you. [break][break](OOC: The Special Guest is here)
Name of Spell: Siegfried's Arsenal[break] Elemental Type: Fire[break] Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Attack Creation[break] Range & Speed: 80 m area| 75 m/s[break] Mana Cost: 40 (20)[break] Stats Effected: +22 Power[break] Applicable Perks: Mana Conservationist, Battle Knight, Signature Spell.[break] Description: This is Ardere's most often used spell, and one he learned from his father (It being a mirror of his father's signature spell). It has gotten stronger as he has, and this is the final version of this spell. He creates a massive sword out of flame. Being 2 meters in length it is long enough to match his own height but not too large to be awkward when wielding. The user can grab this sword, but they can also manipulate it in an 80 meter area, being 40 m radially around them-self. They can manipulate it to stab or slash or twirl, anything the user can think of. For every 50 control the user has, they can make an extra sword. These swords are powerful enough to cleave through stone and metal like it was butter, and limbs are just the same. These spells do have the ability to kill.

Elemental Type: Pure Aura Rank & Spell Type: Junior Rank Supplementary Construct Spell Range & Speed: Self; 10 (+5 from Fast Lane) m/s Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Stats Affected: None Applicable Perks: Fast Lane Description: Jhonkaqadam, or the Gust Step, earns its name by the Aura user seemingly moving through the air as if it were solid ground. A bluish aura surrounds the limbs to be used for movement, releasing a visible gust of energy per push. The key difference lies that the user cannot sustain their elevation without constant input from the caster. It is a spell that allows one to move upon surfaces that are not naturally able to be traversed by a mundane human with nothing but one's own aura (such as air, water, oil). The caster is unable to change trajectory without use of another step or input (such as applying the spell with one's hand)..
Elemental Type: Pure Aura Rank & Spell Type: Intermediate Rank Attack/Physical Reinforcement Spell Range & Speed: Up to 40 meters, 15m area, 10 cubic meters (full charged); expands out at 20 m/s Mana Cost: 20 | 10 Stats Affected: Strength Applicable Perks: Build Up, Concussive Blows Description: The next step of the Principle series focusing on enhancing her strength. Capable of being unleashed as an attack, Bryn will charge forth and strike the opponent with an advancing strike. This can be done as a punch, kick, or grapple. Her aura focuses and then is fired forth like a torrent of energy in a cone formation, dealing intermediate damage to the target. A fiery red aura that then condenses around one limb. The targeted limb glows similarly to a heated blade pulled straight from the forge. While active, the spell increases Bryn's strength to Intermediate rank.
Elemental Type: Pure Aura Rank & Spell Type: Junior Rank Attack Spell Range & Speed: 25 meters, 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Stats Affected: None Applicable Perks: Build Up Description: The caster concentrates their aura into a single area on their body, usually the foot or their hands. Once gathered, the energy is blasted straight forward in the shape of a sphere about the size of a softball (97.1 mm) when uncharged. This projectile deals junior rank damage to the target.
It can be charged to deal more damage. The maximum size of a fully charged Shoony is about the size of a regulation football (226 mm).
The scene played out before her was far worse than expectations set. Though she devoted time to hone her sensing capabilities since the excursion to the Hollow's Nest, it wouldn't take a sniper to see that whomever was laying waste to the city had absolutely no regard for rules of war. Citizens were being attacked and the capital ravaged. In Bryn's mind, as mana signatures began to rise up to her awareness, she was beginning to see that simply punching her way out of the predicament was going to lead her straight to an early grave. Further confirmed by her eyes catching an individual overhead with a flaming ball of sorts. It looked like an assault based on the general direction of the caster in relation to where she was moving. To add, this individual wasn't alone. She counted at least four, but the angle of where they were at plus that running without looking ahead was a fool's errand. The prisoner hurled his fireball and in response, Bryn quickly fired a sphere of condensed energy to intercept. Each spell moved on a path to collide, though her spell whizzed by and missed the collision point. It traveled a short while further into the sky past the rooftop lines until exploding mid-air, at least a good 10 meters overhead. She scoffed slightly, but had a small smirk on all the same.
Seems as if both spellcasters had tricks up their sleeves with their projectile, as Bryn's grimoire lit up to allow her to cast her gust step, Jhonkaqadam. A radiant blue flame surrounded Bryn's feet and pushed back against the ground to bring her to a sudden stop before the new wall of fire. She ought to have seen this coming. Whoever these individuals were, they were predators. Vicious and ruthless, but coordinated enough to fight better than an unruly mob. In fact, this was almost too coordinated. Cutting off avenues of approach was a sure fire way to get access to a kill, but not without a some sort of leader. Whether they were with this group or not, she'd have to make her way past them somehow until her ploy worked itself out; if at all. Her enemies seemed aware of this too, sending two of them down on cue to engage Bryn. This struck her as odd, but telling.
'They're feeling me out.' Bryn though to herself, taking up a combative stance with a mid guard and shoulder width, left foot led footing. Her back arched slightly forward and loose, a sign of a lucid guard as one of her arms was raised slightly higher than the other. The prisoner took the initiative, lunging for her head. His speed was impressive too, but not so fast that she couldn't track it. Hakyoku at full power deserved that praise and she would thank him if this ordeal passed with her life in tact. Facing one who was superior to oneself was one of the fastest ways to improve, so she couldn't help but feel honored that her opponent would move in for a deathblow on the first play. Electrical energy surrounded his armament, likely to leave a nasty pain if it connected. Bloodthirsty or not, she ought to return the favor and remind her enemies why over extension always led to terrible consequences.
As the individual came in for her head, Bryn's pushed off to the right slightly with her Jhonkaqadam to put her off axis with the lunge. Her left arm rose up slightly to a high guard as she stepped the initial blow, clearing the fist and then acting as a deterrent to bounce away an attempt to correct the punch's course into a hook. The match in speed was given an edge to the one who could suddenly shift gears often in a fight, as without aid combatives who launched thrusting strikes without grounded support often saw a sharp decrease upon reaching their peak. She couldn't afford to take these individuals lightly, so her answer to this overbearing assault needed to settle the score in one go. Shooting her higher left arm down and then upward to lock the prisoner's elbow out by jutting it into a forced straight lock, Bryn then gripped it while a twisting. In the meanwhile she was nullifying the aggressor's charge, her right arm lit up with a bright red aura and converged onto her right arm. Bryn stepped into the prisoner's now exposed chest area and would deliver a powerful punch to the solar plexus. Upon impact, a surge of red energy surged forward and crashed onto the location of her aggressor.
She kept the individual locked in close combat with her under the grip for a while longer, but lowered him slightly to gain a visual on his partner. Unless that individual wasted their spell to combat her Dher Bankaa's energy surge, she was sure they were waiting for a clean shot. Either that, or a move from the ones still above. All the same, with her back to the flames and not discounting the possibility that they did this with the intention of stacking the deck, she needed to keep them in front of her to the best of her ability. Bryn was hardly a stranger to being ganged up on, but the way these prisoners were organized meant trouble definitely brewed. She chose to take the initiative and push her way forward.
"Cheer up crewcut." Bryn antagonized the prisoner who had a spell readied, "You'll get your turn too."
Her feet pulsed with the blue energy again as she took a powerful step forward with the other prisoner still in tow as a meatshield. It was only about 8 meters, but she needed to see some reaction on what they would do plus make a bit of space away from the wall.

From her vantage point above, Flora could see and sense the void magic running rampant through the capitol.
It has to be coming from somewhere... or someone... kuku. I sure hope I don't have to fight it alone, I don't know if I have the power required yet to take on something like that, kuku. No, there must be others here, kuku! Like Captain Lazuli said, Captain Yuurei must be here somewhere. My best course of action would be to do as much as I can while looking for him, kuku.
Suddenly, Flora noticed two things nearly simultaneously. The first was an impossible to ignore firey hot mana signature.
"Kukuku... what is that?!"
Suddenly, the mana signature exploded as if a furnace and had suddenly begun harnessing the sun itself. It was a power source the likes Flora had never felt before, though at the moment she couldn't tell if it was friend or foe. Turning towards the mana signature, Flora heard a scream for help. Turning quickly, she below her that there were citizens in trouble.
"Duty first, kuku, then discovery. But what are those... kuku, magic knights?"
As Flora tried to understand the enemies before her, one let loose a stream of lava towards her. Smirking arrogantly, the little witch crossed her arms and held out her finger.
"kukuKUKUKU, KNOW THE FOLLY OF RAISING ARMS AGAINST A TRUE WITCH ! KUKUKU! PREPARE TO KNOW YOUR DEMISE BEFORE I! FLORA OF THE WITCHES' FOREST! VICE-CAPTAIN OF THE BLUE ROSE AND WIELDER OF WITCHES' FOREST MAGIC!"
Flora's voice thundering menacingly and her grimoire already floating and glowing a blood red, Flora held out her finger.
Completely confident in her own power, the little witch wouldn't move an inch, but instead sent two red red beam of mana, vines, leaves, and other plant matter would stream out of her finger. The first heading straight for lava blast with the intent of punching through and destroying the spell. The second rocketed towards the other guard. If Flora's power trumped the guards control, Flora's spell would transform the guard's lava into candy with a stamina affinity then attempt to destroy the spell and continue on it's course to its target, the guard. Flora would not stop there though.
Kukuku... those people are in trouble. I'll have to make sure I take these guys out quickly.
As her previously spell launched forward, Flora casted her second spell.
"Witches' Forest Magic: Phantom Splinter!"
Create two spears made out of her own hybrid of world tree and blood magics, each wrapped in an illusion cloaking them from sight, smell, and hearing, Flora's spears would fire out on a collision course with each of the guards.
Feeling confident that her spells would end the two enemies, Flora would attempt to float upwards and focus on understanding what she was up against. Intimidation was after all one of Flora's favorite tactics.
"Witches' Forest Magic: Whispering."
Casting her next spell, Red pollen began to swirl around Flora then scattered all around her settling on every enemy within 105 meters of her position, with her being the center.
If any enemies are hit with the spell, and their sensory is overcome by Flora's control, they would here the following whispered directly into their ear.
"Kukukuku... you have trespassed on land safe guarded by Flora of the Witches' Forest. Relinquish your weapons, throw yourselves down in disgrace, kuku, and perhaps you will live... you dummies... kukukukuku..."
Flora's voice would continue to cackle in the enemies ears as she sustained the spell while also stealing mana from enemies hit as this was her Witches' Forest magic.
Finally, Flora would cast one last spell. This was the first time she had used this particular piece of magic as she had never needed to before, then again these were dire circumstances.
"Witches' Forest Magic: Blooming Call"
In her hand three seeds would form. Flora would then toss each to the ground where the seeds would burrow in creating vines that would seek out three people. The first was Captain Yuurei, whom Flora knew was somewhere in the captial, the second was an unknown magic user but their mana signature seemed to be fighting against enemies similar to the type Flora was, the final was towards whatever mana source was shining like the sun.
Each of these vines would burrow around, through, up buildings attempting to stretch to and catch the attention of each of the targets. When the vines were noticed, the tips would bloom into blood red flowers and voice would issue forth from each of them.
"Kuku, this if Flora of the Witches' Forest, Vice-Captain of the Blue Rose. I was sent by Captain Lazuli to protect the capitol, kukuku, and landed in the middle of a fight! If can hear me, these are my coordinates and location. I suggest we meet up lest we all become overwhelmed. Kukuku, not that, that would ever happen to me. A true witch of the Forest would never fall to dummies and idiots like these, kukukuku!"
Typically, this spell took sometime to reach it's target, but Flora hoped that the spell would reach its targets faster since all of them were close by.
Summary: Due to intimidating aura, all enemies have -5 in all stats. All of Flora's illusions require 71 sensory to overcome. Flora attacks two guards with two spells (phantom splinter, lapis philosophorum dulcis), if Flora's power > guard's control the spell is turned into Candy (stamina) element. Phantom splinter is cloaked in an illusion. Flora casts whispering in a 105m radius around her hitting any enemies with an illusion. Flora casts blooming call attempting to contact Bryn, Ardere, and Yuurei giving her position. Flora maintains her broomstick spell.

Name of Spell: Witches' Forest Magic: Lapis Philosophorum Dulcis: Fire and Lava Elemental Type: World Tree Rank & Spell Type: Senior, Attack/Transformation Range & Speed: 80m, 40 m/s Mana Cost: 30, 15 Stats Effected: +9 Power Applicable Perks: Battle Knight, Elemental Oddity: Blood, Elemental Mixologist (Lava, Fire) Description: Lapis Philosophorum Dulcis is a single target offensive attack that attempts to transform magic of any World Lava or Fire elements it comes into contact with into a food element specializing in stamina. Specifically, this spell attempts to turn spells of Lava or Fire elements into candy.
The spell works as a standard senior attack spell unless the spell comes into contact with one of the aforementioned elements. If this spell collides with one or both of the aforementioned elements simultaneously, and if Flora's control is fifteen points over the target's control, the target's spell is transformed into candy and will have its damage type and properties shifted accordingly (food, stamina).
Whether or not this spell transmutes another spell, it will continue to travel on and attempt to deal its damage. This attack spell obeys the ammo rule and can only transform spells designated in its title.
From her hand, Flora’s Witches' Forest magic grows into a red mass of plant matter that shoots through the air until it reaches its destination.
Having inherited and deciphered parts of her sister Majolica's journals, Flora has discovered how to create an attack spell that also attempts to convert specific elements into her one true love... candy.
Name of Spell: Witches' Forest Magic: Phantom Splinter Elemental Type: World Tree Rank & Spell Type: Senior, Illusion/Attack Range & Speed: 80 m, 40 m/s Mana Cost: 30, 15 Stats Effected: +9 power, hearing, sight, smell Applicable Perks: Battle Knight, Elemental Oddity, Master Illusionist, Shattered Psyche Description: Using her magic, Flora forms a large red flowering spear out of wood and vines. When this projectile strikes a target it deals senior damage. The projectile is magically camouflaged in an illusion make it hidden from sight, smell, and hearing. The illusion requires 30 + (2 for every 5 control Flora has) sensory to see through. This spell obeys the ammo rules.
Due to this spell being of the world tree element, this spell is able to naturally steal 10 mana from a person per individual spell that touches them a post.
Name of Spell: Witches' Forest Magic: Whispering Elemental Type: World Tree Rank & Spell Type: Senior, Illusion Range & Speed: 80m range, 105m aoe, 40 m/s Mana Cost: 30, 15 Stats Effected: Hearing Applicable Perks: Shattered Psyche, Area of Triumph, Master Illusionist, Elemental Oddity: Blood Description: An insidious spell that causes all of those within the spells area of effect to hear Flora's voice whisper directly into their mind. Those unable to overcome the illusion are forced to listen as Flora's voice echoes in their head transmitting whatever she says to them. This spell can be used to taunt, frighten, intimidate, warn, and threaten groups.
One of Flora's favorite tactics is to use this spell as a warning to threaten or intimidate would-be enemies into surrendering. As this spell utilizes the World Tree element, all those affected by the illusion will have 10 mana stolen per post, per spell that touches them.
When cast, Flora releases a fine pollen over the area. The pollen permeates an area and can penetrate even the most minute cracks in buildings afflicting any that come into contact with it with the illusion.
Name of Spell: Witches' Forest Magic: Blooming Call Elemental Type: World Tree[break] Rank & Spell Type: Intermediate, Sensory (Short Range Communication) Range & Speed: Main Board currently in, 2 rounds Mana Cost: 20, 10 Stats Effected: Applicable Perks: Description: A spell used for aid in a specific area. Using this spell, Flora can contact up to 4 people within the same board that Flora is currently in. After two rounds, the contacted individuals may join the thread Flora is in as long as the thread allows for additional persons.
When cast, Flora touches the ground at her feet creating a root that burrows into the ground. The root burrows downward until it reaches earth, the moves rapidly towards it's target. The root can climb walls as a vine or squeeze through crevices and is unerring in locating it's target. Once the root finds it's target, it will get their attention, either by climbing on to them or moving directly into their line of sight. Once the root knows it's being observed, it will ball up and sprout a single red flower. Touching the flower will telepathically relate Flora's message and location to a willing participant.
Post by Yuurei Krane on Jul 21, 2020 22:41:30 GMT -5
Yuurei could feel the various mana from different directions throughout the Capital. This wasn’t good as he could feel the flare-up from Bryn’s and Flora’s mana. He was surprised that Flora was around, but he was worried about Bryn and hoped that she would be careful with everything that was happening right now. There was a dark mana source that he knew of, a powerful mana source, and even a familiar mana source above him around the rooftop of the palace. That was when he figured that he knew exactly where he was going to go. Still, he could only laugh a bit when he felt the sources of what was near him.
“Sorry Bryn, I don’t think I could help you right now, but I can stop things from continuing on.” He said to himself as he stopped himself from being a hero to those that he cared about.
Instead, he would look at the directions of the guards that were coming towards him. Their mana signature felt corrupted like the time when he was Hage and had to destroy those crystals. It wasn’t just that, but it seemed like there were also workers that were being attacked by these guards. The wind mage would only shake his head as he could see things were dire. He could have been simple, but the citizens that were here needed his help. Yuurei’s grimoire would float in the air as it would flip around as it would go to a simple page.
“Wind Magic: Ladon.” He would say this as he would start to transform himself.
His mouth revealing sharp fangs, his upper body revealing to becoming scale-like as that of a dragon. Wings would sprout out from his back and as he had become much durable than he normally was. Yuurei could see that there were four of them and it would seem that they had attacked him without hesitating. He could see that things were getting interesting as he could see that they were sending chains towards him from both directions. The Silver Tempest would step back to avoid the chains that were trying to restrain or cause harm to him from both directions. He had positioned himself to be 40 meters away from the corrupted guards.
He wasn’t sure what they were trying to do him, but he wouldn’t allow them to chain him up from both directions. Now it was time to counter-attack, but at the same time, he needed to protect those around him as well. His grimoire flipped towards two pages and he had a smirk on his face.
“Wind Magic: King Bahamut, and Wind Magic: Gryphon.” He said as the wind magic that he created would compress itself to create four golems out into the battlefield.
These golems would have themselves be covered in the Ladon spell that Yuurei used on himself to increase their speed and were now protected by his defensive prowess. They were not as big as they could be and it was because of where they were located. He created them in a size that would benefit their movements. His mouth stood shut as his mind had given them the order on what they needed to do. Both Gryphons attack the Corrupted Guards on the right, and Both King Bahamuts attack the Corrupted Guards on the left. Dodge any attack they throw at you.” He thought about all of this in his mind as the golems would start making their moves. All four of his golems were moving to their intended targets now at 56 meters per second now.
When they got close to their target each of his golems would attack with everything they had slashing with both of their front limbs at each of their targets. Now that he had attacked them, his mind wondered what they were going to do now. His grimoire, of course, flipped towards a different page as he knew he had to protect those around him. There were eleven people that needed his help and one of them had been harmed already by the attacks that the corrupted guards.
“Wind Magic: Wind Tunnel.” He would simply say this as he would be able to cover all eleven of the civilians that were around him and himself as well.
The wind would just surge around the civilians and if any of the guards would attempt to attack them they would just be met with the wind tunnel he had created. While this was happening, soon enough, there would be a contact that would enter Yuurei's mind. It didn't seem sinister in any way, so he figured that someone was using a type of communication spell to contact him. It wouldn't take him long to find out who it was as she had shouted her name like she always did. Yuurei had a smirk on his face as he knew where she was located, but he couldn't help her right now.
Don't say things like that Flora. It's good to ask for help. I will do my best here as I'm fighting guards that were corrupted. After I take care of them, I will make my way towards the large evil mana signature above me. He thought to himself as he was communicating with Flora and anybody else who was in the comms.

Chaos! Chaos continued to spread all across the capital as Malacath watched from high up on the Palace. Buildings were on fire, burning down, and nothing but ash would be left behind. Magic Knights were still attempting to fight off the creatures, but were horrifically failing as their mana signatures disappeared. Citizens had the same fate as these poor fools while they are forced to watch and die with every exit blocked off. It was a truly glorious sight in the eyes of the daemon! Though, there were three signatures that seemed to be actually holding their ground against his corrupt minions. In his eyes, this was not a setback of any sorts in his eyes. These minions weren’t of his wholesome creation, but only hosts for the corrupt creatures that he made. Maybe what he had unleashed onto the Capital wasn’t enough to kill the more stronger Knights off. Maybe his corrupt creatures were just weakened by the treacherously weak hosts that the controlled. Maybe... It would be time to begin phase two of the siege on the Capital. A evil grin began to slide across his face whenever that thought came to mind. His hand began to rise up for him to signal for the next phase to begin, but was halted when a familiar Mana Signature appeared within the Capital. “Ahh, this mana is for to familiar for anyone to even forget.” Those words slid out of his mouth as his grin stayed strong upon his face. “He is headed this way... Might as well give him the most heartwarming welcome I can offer.” His hand only lowered down a little whenever the Signature of Ardere Kasai appeared inside the Capital. It halted right in front of his lower abdomen area while mana began to appear in front of his hand in the shape of a sphere. “Abyssal Whip.” As those words escaped between the daemons lips was a signal in his mind that hell was about to start. But, out of that sphere of mana would appear a whip that was made out of pure void magic. It was a spell that he would considered his signature weapon that anyone he had previously fought would know. Malacath would then begin to laugh as he gripped his deadly whip in both hands.
It wouldn’t take long for the Captain of the Crimson Lions to find where Malacath was located. When the man came into view Malacath had noticed that the man had obtained an additional asset to his arsenal. A spirit that was known all around as the Fire Spirit, Salamander. Such a powerful creature Ardere was able to obtain and train as a partner to him. Sadly, this spirit was not going to be enough for this Captain to take on this Daemon. No matter what kind of power this being truly possessed! Once the Captain and Spirit made it close enough to the Daemon was when Malacath sensed the forming of spells being formed. The two would shoot off around 8 swords of fire towards the Daemon himself. No match for the power Malacath possessed, He quickly flicked his wrist whenever the spells fired off. Those blades of fire moved fast, but his whip moved faster. The Void whip would then fly across the sky in a arch like motion with a speed of 135 m/s. It would make its way over towards the blades to intercept all 8 of them at once. When the two spells collided mana shot out in all directions with such miraculous force behind it. People within the Capital would be able to feel this mana as if they were right next to them whenever they collided. Smoke had then covered the area between the two powerful beings, but was quickly pushed away by the natural wind of the planet. After it was gone was when the two of them would see that the Daemons whip had emerged victorious from the encounter while the fire blades were destroyed. Malacath let out a small chackle at the sight of the marvelous sight. He would then look over at the Crimson King with a true monstrous smile. “It doesn’t mater that the Crimson King has shown his face in the siege of this god forsaken city. You, your Magic Knights, and dammed people will all fall under the power of ME!” He screamed with an almost roar exiting his his mouth. Malacath knew that he couldn’t strike fear in into this man before him. But, making his watch as his people died before him would be all that he needed.
Name of Spell:Abyssal Whip Elemental Type: Void Rank & Spell Type: Archmage | Attack Range & Speed: 300m | 125 m/s (+10 m/s perk) Mana Cost: 80 | 40 Stats Effected: +16 Power (att buff), +10 Power (Sig move) Applicable Perks: Battle Knight | Signature Attack | Quick Shot Description: Upon reciting the spell, a whip made out of void will appear in front of the user. It is a solid black whip that has a length of 150 meters. If this whip makes contact with an opponent it would completely detach the part from them. This spell causes damage of Grand whenever it strikes.
Near the prison, it was two Corrupt Prisoners that had jumped into a fiery circle to fight off a Clover Citizen. Three other Prisoners were on standby on the buildings next to where the circle was located. One Prisoner had dashed its way to attempt a blow at the females head. Bryn had quickly noticed this creature, and jumped into a battle ready stance. She would then push off to her right to side step the oncoming attack. This had shocked the prisoner as its opponent was able to dodge such a quick coming strike from itself. Things would then continue to get worse for the prisoner as its opponent had brought up her arms in a guard like position. After that, she had maneuvered the prisoner to where that it would get caught in an outward armlock. Pain shot through the creatures body that it didn’t think it would ever feel. Though, that wasn’t the worst part of this whole ordeal. Bryn would then throw her arm up to where she sent a counter strike right in the upper abdominal area of the creature. The power behind its opponent was strong, and strong enough to where the creature would pass out from the damage. On the other end of the circle was where the second prisoner watched, and waited for what their next move would be. It focused on the woman as she began to make her way towards where it was located. When the citizen made their way 8 meters towards the creature an explosion of mana rippled through the entire capital. The Creatures around the citizen felt this tremendous mana with the fear of the spirits on their face. It was like nothing they have felt before, despite being creatures created by the daemon this mana formed from. Once this surge had passed was when the last prisoner ,in the circle, looked at the citizen. The corrupt being that had surrounded the prisoner had disappeared along with his control over the host. It’s head would then turn towards the other corrupt prisoners that were on top of the building above. All four of them knew what was yet to come in this damned city. They knew that they had to act fast, and now get his strong willed citizen to follow them. One of the Prisoners above had captured a Noble Citizen child during this whole mess. It wasn’t their way to take people as hostages, but this was a situation that needed one. All four of them would then coat themselves in mana as they felt their body able to move faster than before. Lastly, they would begin making their way towards the City Square, with the child in hand. Their speed had been increased to 30 m/s as they rushed towards the square.

Across the Capital, there were two Corrupt Guards that backed a group of citizens to a lava floor. One of them had fallen to their death as they burned alive from the corrupt guards power. Another citizen happened to notice a Magic Knight overhead following the one citizens death. That Magic Knight took notice to the citizens that where on the verge of death, and quickly took action. The Lava Guard had thrown lava up towards the magic knight to attempt to knock her down. She would in return send a spell of her own to cancel out the lava that was sent towards her. It continued on to where it would make contact with the guard to cause senior damage. The Crystal guard saw the spell coming towards it when mana began to cover the guards arm in a darker baby blue color. It would then pull back its right arm only to thrust it forwards to make contact with the spell aimed at it. Both the spell and Physical Reinforced arm made contact with one another to where a small burst of mana shot out. Little did the Knight know was that the Guard was a lot stronger than it appeared. The guard then pushed its arm forward a little more to where it destroyed the spell of the Magic Knight. When the collision was over was when both guards saw that the witch was going to continue her assault. Both thought quickly on their feet, and covered themselves with mana. The Crystal guard had mana around its arms, but the color had changed, when it cover the body, Into a lighter baby blue. They both a lot quicker with their movements, and focused their sights onto the opponent above. When their eyes did meet the Knight, they noticed she had sent off another spell aiming at both of them again but couldn’t see it. Their speed now was able to reach 40 m/s with the mana that covered their bodies, and were able to sense where the mana of the spells were. Both would then quickly step away from one another to where the spell would smash down onto the ground. One of them wound up stepping closer to the citizen that they were getting ready to kill. The other stepped off to quickly keep its focus onto its opponent. Sadly, by the time it could lock its focus onto the Knight she had flew up from what it could tell. It didn’t bother the guard that its opponent had Flew upwards away from them. Instead it would jump backwards to where it would land on top of the building to keep its eyes locked onto her. While he watched her movements, both of them were able to hear whatever she had said, despite not knowing exactly what those words even meant.
A quick moment would then pass as the knight had not came down from her upwards flight. What they got instead was a massive amount of mana surging over the entire capital that felt like hell on earth. They had never felt this kind of mana before in their existence. When it was over they knew what was fixing to begin now within the Capital. With the Knight still above where the lava mage, the one on the building, jumped down to where it would catch itself onto the citizen up front. Using the moment from the jump would allow it to swing around the citizens body, and allow for him to kick the others backwards. When it had done a 280 degree spin it would then land on the ground while picking the citizen up off the ground. It’s partner then smashed the ground with its fist to send spikes up out of the ground to empale the knocked down citizens. Killing them on the spot. The two guards would then dash towards the direction of where the Capital square was located. Both of them moving at 40 m/s as they made their way down the street while having the remaining citizen in hand. They hoped the Magic Knight would use this opportunity to chase them, so that they could possibly save the citizen at hand.

Within the Palace, the Magic Knight, Yuurei Krane, had been encountered with 4 corrupt guards that had a groups of 5 and 6 pushed towards him. When they caught sight of the Captain two of them sent a total of 6 chains at him. Being a Captain as strong as him, he had dodged the chain in time to where they would make contact with the wall. Not really surprised by this they, in return, had golems sent in their direction. All of the Guards charged the golems to make their stand against each of them the best that they could. Swipes were being made by the guards to where each was able to land one physical hit each as the golems were too quick for them to use any magic. Sadly, all the golems were defeated by these creatures of wind before they hit the floor below. Little did the Captain know, as the guards were defeated, the creatures that had taken over their bodies had departed from their hosts into the wind. Leaving behind four dead Crimson Lion Guards that had the markings of the golems attacks upon their bodies. The citizens that the Captain had protect took notice to this sighting they had witnessed. Screams began to lash out at the horrible sight that was now in front of them. But those screams wouldn’t last long. A power surge of mana would be shot across the Capital as the fight going on above had caused this. Due to them being so close had caused the citizens to all faint from the amount of power that was behind that surge. Other creatures that had roamed the palace took notice to the Captains mana as well as the surge that they had felt. They knew what this surge had meant to the Daemon above. Unlike the other creatures throughout the Capital, the ones that lurked through the Capital began to make their way through the palace and towards Yuurei Krane.
OOC: That was a good round everyone! I am going to give yall an easy round this time. Don’t think I am about to go easy on any of you. A powerful surge shot across the entire Capital from two clashed spells between Ardere and Malacath. This is only the start of the worst that is yet to come for each of you!
There is no posting order this round, so feel free to post in any order you see fit for now.
Due to Faust not posting, He was struck by the Prisoners lightening, and fell to the ground where he took additional damage. He lost all his mana shield, and is now laying in an area of crystal spikes with corrupt prisoners hovering over him.
[attr="class","ardereescroll"] [break]The Abyssal Whip. Even after all this time, the Daemon still flickered that whip around like some sort of weapon from the pits of Hell. Ardere had seen Hell deep in the bowels of his own mind and he did not plan on succumbing to this monster's strength. Malacath was not an enemy to scoff at as he was one of the strongest Daemon. Judging by his Ki, he was perhaps even stronger than the last time the two fought--but he wasn't the only one who'd gotten stronger. Salamander and the Crimson King had a plan, but it was risky. [break][break] The flick of the wrist would take a second to dispatch all of his swords, seeing as they were each at a different angle. Even at such a high speed, the fire mage had a split second to react. Only time enough to summon one spell--that was it. He couldn't counter attack or do anything else, the whip was far too quick. So from the depths of his heart, he drew forth the strongest flame in his arsenal. Summoning forth the God Killer, a blazing blade of fury and justice burst forth in his hand. God Killer! He groaned as the whip struck his mana skin--he wasn't quick enough. The force was serious, but not enough to break his mana skin it seemed. Nonetheless, massive cracks appeared in it like glass nearly shattered. Fuck. He muttered as this happened. Salamander went to react, but he had no time. When Ardere was struck by the whip, he was sent back with a force that only a dragon could stop. Standing behind his partner, the dragon dug deep into the roof of the Royal Palace. Sliding back across the tile and stone, they left drag marks on the roof. Not bad, but you'll have to do better than that! [break][break] With a similar flick of the wrist, Ardere sliced this part of the Palace at a diagonal as he was struck with the whip. The entire section of the roof Malacath was standing would begin to slide off the roof at an angle. There would be no room to stand on and his spell was far too quick for the mage to physically react to. But the fire mage was no fool, he knew the capabilities of void magic. Instinctively, the dragon spirit of fire activated a spell to help out his partner. Fueling the rest of the roof they were standing on with flaming energy by punching in front of his partner, it burst forth with a massive explosion enough to encase the entire area in front of them with flames and rubble. Ragnarok. Salamander was a fan of his current partner's spells. They packed quite a punch, but they were in a tight spot right now. The Dragon and Knight were not playing around, this fight was for keeps. The Capital was at stake here. Ardere had no idea where Jagen or Samson were, but he knew that something bad must've happened if they weren't out here. He didn't wanna consider them being killed, but he had to make his stand here or not at all. You know what must be done. The Dragon spoke. This was a rare occasion, but the Kasai knew what he meant. They had one option, the same one they had since the beginning. He just hoped it would work. Flames began to rise around the two as they prepared to....bond.. [break][break] TLDR: Ard gets smacked by the whip, but at the same time chops off the chunk of the roof Mala is standing on. As it slide off, Salamander creates a massive explosion by punching the ground in front of him and Ard.

Yuurei had done what he needed to do as he could see that the corrupted guards would be taken down from his golems. That was great and when they were taken down, he could see that there true form would hve been reveal. It was sad to see that they were once knights of the order and were now dead. He could see that things were dire, but he couldnt stop right here. The Silver Tempest knew that there was a greater threat around this place and it needed to be stopped. The people he had just saved were scared and screaming from the sight of the knights who were dead. Still, they must have understood the situation and that it was either the guards or them.
"Everything will be just fine." He would say this, but when those words were fully spoken a wave of mana would be surged through the entire palace.
It seemed like the clash between two mana had collided with each other, and Yuurei didnt like the one that came out on top. That wasnt good, and he figured that things wouldnt be for the best unless he was there as well. Yuurei would move towards the window as he would open the door. His sensory could feel that there were other creatures that were trying to head his way.
"I guess i will have to bring them towards me and Ardere, but at the same time with my defense, Ardere wouldnt have to worry about being harmed then." He would say this to himself as he would disperse all of his Gryphon and keep his King Bahamut active.
Yuurei would have both of his golems soar through the window and when the second one soar out through the window, he jumped on its back as it would make its way towards the two strong mana at 40 meters per second. The Captain of the Silver Eagle would find his sights on the big dragon that was attacking and the sword that Ardere in his hand. He could also see the demon that was consuming Nero right now. Yuurei's eyes would pierce straight towards the demon as he was not happy with what was going on. His grimoire would flip to a page as he would be ready to do what was needed next.
"Wind Magic: Void Armament of Ares." He said this to himself as he had unleashed a spell of his own.
Yuurei would have this spell move towards four areas, The ones that were being covered in his wind armor were, Ardere, Salamander, the Bahamut that was going to be used to attack and himself. The Bahamut that had gained this armor had lost the previous one it had on. He kept himself at a nice distance as he figured he would say something while prepping his attack.
"Nice dragon you got there, Ardere. I got your back so feel free to go all out, I will make sure to do what I can." He said this as his bangle would glow and he would create 9 portals around him, and the Bahamut he wasn't riding on would go into one of them before they all closed up.
Soon enough, the portal would appear to instantly open up behind Malacath and the golem would come out of it as it would go at full speed to try and attack the daemon from behind with a slashing damage, while being protected by its master. Yuurei prepared for it to not work, and it was why he kept his defense up. He could feel everything that was happening within the Capital and where he wanted to go help out Bryn, he could not. Malacath was a threat, that he could not ignore.

The body in her grip went limp and the weight increased. Some may not realize it, but deadweight had a reason to its moniker. Even in resistance, an alert body will subconsciously hold up their body in relation to the events transpiring. At the very least, against gravity. Difficulty normally came from maintaining one's grip against the movement but that was an entirely different issue. Thankfully Bryn, enhanced or not, had a considerable amount of lifting power when her whole body was put in the process. She felt good about pushing against the enemy tide, at least until the realm decided to throw a brand new curveball at her in the form of that eerily frightening magical energy. Her feet jutted out to brake with her spell actively supporting the effort, as her eyes naturally darted towards the direction of the force.
A primal fear seeped into her. One that predators similarly faced when staring down an animal they knew outclassed themselves. Her muscles tensed and she became hyper aware of her bodily functions. The sensation of sweat beads trickling down her hair. Heat approaching her backside from the wall of flames and how the strands of her hair curled up from the intensity. Bryn's red eyes darted from side to side, suddenly unnerved by the supreme force in the same zone. It was here that her aura waned slightly, unsure of the capacity she could put out to make a difference.
'So you want to give up?' said a young, feminine voice.
Bryn's eyes did a double-take, as she saw herself right next to the prisoner who once had a spell charged up. Time seemed awkwardly slow at this point and everything but her other self out of focus. This doppelganger had the dead fish eye look, staring tens of thousands of yards into the soul of Bryn whilst taking the form of herself at a youthful age of twelve. Bryn wanted to retort, but nothing came out of voicebox. The younger Bryn continued to stare with a deadpan look about 10 meters away. The older pugilist blinked and suddenly saw the younger self gone.
Bryn blinked once more to double-check and then everything resumed. Her grip on the dangling, unconscious prisoner was still firm. The other enemies, however, seized the opportunity in Bryn's lapse of awareness to take a younger citizen hostage. She gritted her teeth as she was ready to fling the beaten prisoner to the wall and pursue. It was here, another blink later, the young noble citizen changed to Bryn's younger self again. Held prisoner by the dark criminals.
'No one would blame you. Just like the fall. Death is undeniable. You know this.' young Bryn spoke.
Everything in her fiber wanted to deny this younger self. People had to be afforded the opportunity to live. To be given a chance against the inevitable end. That was what gave life its vigor. She knew it to be true, but there continued to be a piece of her that agreed. Logically, as the hypertime vision continued to play out in Bryn's mind, she couldn't save everyone. This noble child was likely going to die as a hostage, as would many more for the sake of whatever possessed the second coming of the devils. Her actions were but a small piece in this pond and pursuing certainly spelled trouble. It contradicts what most hunters advised: against tailing a target when outnumbered.
'Remember. You will die.' the younger Bryn whispered silently, as everything spun back up to real time. This younger self grinned.
Bryn found herself grinning too. What was she worried about? Casualties were unavoidable, but to dwell upon it meant more were exposed to harm. She had to do something, no matter if it would end up futile or successful. Quickly throwing the prisoner to the wall and finding some twine nearby to bind his hands and legs. If that dark magic flared up again, the bindings were too makeshift to hold him for long. All the same, she just betted on the opportunity that he will stay unconscious. Fool's bet, but she had bigger prey to hunt. Revving herself with a little jogging in place, she saw the prisoners bolt off at speed that definitely doubled what she could put out at the moment. She had begun to store up force into a second Dher Bankaa spell seeing that these individuals were definitely going to be a hard target to hit. Even with her new mantle spell, she doubt that whatever they were moving at could be matched. At best, she would be lagging behind.
Bryn kicked up and began running on top of the air, harmlessly passing by the firewall that once was put to contain her. The overhead view gave her a better perspective of the sector, realizing that it was unusually close to the area she once visited during her last trip to the capital. Augustus and Lydia's tour was about to come in handy. Bryn descended in altitude slightly and followed the prisoners in view for a bit. As they passed by on the rooftops, Bryn then took to a lower street whilst not going fully to the ground level. It was a fine balance of bobbing in and out of view based on elevation. They were still speeding ahead faster than Bryn, so she needed to distract them slightly. Grabbing some potted plants or broom handles, she broke off what couldn't be used at first and flung them about 10 m ahead of the rearmost prisoner. It was an arc throw, similarly to chucking a shotput or javelin, but lacked any of the weapon finesse because her items were common day stuff. First flew the potted tulip, soaring overhead and would smash onto the floor. The broom handle without te groom piece flew better, though Bryn overshot this on purpose. She aimed away from the one with the hostage, as her strength was still enhanced and could cause serious bodily harm.
The last item was something she saw coming up. In front of a tavern was a wagon of liquor. Kegs waiting to be offloaded or looted. Bryn spotted at least one and knew she'd have to stop to chuck this one and definitely risked losing sight. However, the four prisoners took all that effort to secure a hostage and entice Bryn to follow. This delay plus her not running at full speed would be the check on their intent, as she moved to offload a barrel of mead quickly. Hoisting it overhead, the woman let it rest gently on her primary right arm. Taking aim with her left, she took a few steps and then boosted off with her still active Jhonkaqadam spell to hurl the barrel forward. It thankfully didn't spin about too wildly, as it flew over in the direction of the enemies. She once again overshot the distance to compensate for the rate of speed the enemy party was moving. This barrel was less focused on actually hitting them, but more so to smash onto the ground as a deterrent. Slippery grounds, sudden impacts may elicit a reaction. Bryn aimed to have the barrel smash onto the path roughly 10m ahead of the furthest most character, but her elevation difference definitely would cause the actual landing point to fluctuate.
Bryn then kicked off to resume the pursuit.

Flora pouted. She had great confidence in her ability to cloak spells in illusions and this was the first time in quite a while that one of these spells had been noticed.
No, kuku. It didn't see through it. It sensed it...
Regardless of how, Flora had miscalculated assuming that her spell would hit unerringly and her enemies would be defeated momentarily, she had focused on contacting others which had left many of the civilians vulnerable. Now that the two mutated guards had dodged, they were were in great peril.
Before Flora could react, one of the guards instantly killed the majority of the civilians. The group then kidnapped a single survivor and began to make their way to the Capitol Square. Furious, Flora followed in hot pursuit. As she flew behind the pair of guards, Flora would aim and fire illusion cloaked, Witches' Forest magic spears and spines of twisted hair from her broomstick.
"Kukukuku... if you don't run faster I'm going to catch you, kukukuku... then I'm going to tear you dummies apart piece by piece! That's right! Kuku, run! Run as fast as your dummy legs can carry you! Kukukuku, I'm coming, and uou've made a grave error angering a witch! Kukukuku!"
Maintaining her communication spell, Flora would call out to the other members of the team.
"I'm in pursuit of two of these... monster things, ku. It seems like they're headed to Capitol Square, kuku!"
Summary: Flora follows corrupted guards, fires illusion attack for senior damage and normal attack for int damage at guard not carrying hostage. Flora maintains communication spell and tells all she's heading to capitol square in pursuit.
