With the Daemons attacking Kikka, Raque, and the Royal Capital in unison, Asmodeus has given an order for his sons and daughters to go and corrupt a much more primal link to the world to further their goals...the leylines. Sending out five of his children to the awakened hotspots awakened by the mages of Clover he tells them to take over these areas and corrupt them so that more daemonspawn can enter the world.

[break]Additional Information: Fezek wields a greatsword as if it were some sort of small blade, his strength is immeasurable and he acts as a vanguard to the Princes of Asmodeus. He wants to bring destruction to the world and rule over his other siblings. He wears grey armor and is the peak of physical conditioning.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] It was pandemonium in the streets of the Royal Capital, the fight that he had included himself in during the Shattering had finally come to their doorstep in a big way. Reports from his eyes and ears around Clover had given him three simultaneous attacks; The Capital, Kikka, and Raque. These major events were causing havoc and sewing discord, but before he could mobilize his own squad...he needed to restore order. He moved Cyrus and Hinota to Raque, they would be best suited there, and before he could get to help in the capital he received word that Yuurei Krane of the Silver Eagles and Ardere Kasai of the Crimson Lions had stepped in and Lydia was reportedly seen in Raque. ”God damn it, there was no warning. Get me those reports there has to be somewhere I can help, also mobilize all available mages that are of Senior rank and higher to remain around the capital while the lower ranking mages tend to the wounded. We don’t have much time Drake, go!” he would command his shadow, the man known to the Golden Dawn as Zaven’s knight would be swift to deliver his orders and get the reports. He scanned through them and saw something outside of the three major events...there were five separate attacks happening in odd places. He gave it some thought as he hears the pandemonium just beyond his base. That was when he remembered. ”THE LEYLINES!” He found his answer as if he was smacked in the face with a bat by someone as big as the minotaur he faced not too long ago. With the orders handed out he saw Drake move out as well as the Shadow of Dawn went to his office and gathered a few things. His jacket and shadow armor for one, the next was a slip of paper that had a spatial seal placed upon it by the base spatial mage Eleanor; inside was rations and a few emergency supplies he had made for a time like this. He put them in a pocket for protection as he made his way to the door. As he was about to turn the knob however the door opened and the person that stood before him was a surprise he was not expecting but it sent butterflies afloat in his stomach every time they met.
Rosalia cracked an eye open in annoyance as she felt the sunlight shine down upon her. It was a mission day. A mission day that she was requested to take on by her Captain. The beauty could never decline the man, whether it was due to her personal connection to him or due to his status as her superior. This was her job, even if she was so comfortable huddled in between that pair of powerful arms, her cheek against his warm skin as she took in the scent she was intoxicated by. Fuck. [break][break] The beauty moved quietly and slowly, trying not to wake up the male who was most likely awake anyways. When his golden gaze wasn’t what greeted her as she moved, she slipped out of her queen bed silently and regarded his sleeping form for a second. An overwhelming urge to lean back down and kiss him overtook her, but she reminded herself to leave all feelings at the doorstep at mission day. He’d asked her to go find their mutual best friend. So she would. The witch took a quick shower and dressed in her living room, hoping to let the man rest a bit longer. He always worked harder than everyone gave him credit for.
[break][break] It was her duty, before all else, to keep the citizens of Clover safe, and finding one of the most powerful Mages in the kingdom was a definite boost to the Magic Knight’s strength. From what she’d learned from Malcolm, he was nowhere to be found within the three trapped cities. Rosa gritted her teeth as she walked down the steps of the Black Bulls’ staircase. Charles was stuck in Rague alongside Artemis. She cared for the pair and hoped they would be fine. She trusted their skills and intelligence, yet she couldn’t help but worry for her friends.
[break][break] Malcolm Watanabe had mentioned the Leylines to her, sparking bright interest in the ruby eyes of the ice witch. She had never heard of the term before, but it was clear that it was important as to the Daemon attacks happening in multiple locations. Perhaps in finding the Blake that was the center of her initial mission, she’d learn more.
The beauty was quick to grab one of the random brooms lying around outside of the Black Bull’s Sosshi base and fly over to the Capital. The ride wasn’t as fast as possible, but she preferred it over having to spend her mana considering the current situation of war that had fallen upon Clover. Logistically, she’d try to find Zaven at his Squad’s Main Base, so she’d flown there first. She had to change course in order to not fly directly over Kikka and the main section of the Royal Capital as to not attract attention and did her best to hide her mana signature from the daemons in the area. It wasn’t her job to deal with them right now, there were more than enough powerful knights dispatched for that exact reason.
[break][break] Once she arrived at the Golden Dawn base, few people spared her more than a glance, and unlike usual, she wasn’t bothered by it. These weren’t times for wizards to stop and ask her for her number, or question a Bull’s appearance at the Golden Dawn headquarters. She received a few silent nods as her heels clicked over the marble floor leading to Zaven Blake’s office, and she knocked a few times before opening the door to his office.
[break][break] “Oh!” Rosalia was surprised as she came face to face with the man in question. He was as gorgeous as usual. That messy raven hair, tanned skin and contrasting azure eyes…her gaze wandered over his equipped form. He was combat ready and leaving for somewhere. The Red-haired beauty was quick to lean against the doorframe, a little warmth coming into her cold gem-like hues.
[break][break] “I certainly hope I’m invited?” She bestowed him with that little half-smirk of her own as she blocked his way, taking in the way his office smelled of him. Mint and chocolate with something wonderfully bitter.
[break][break] “As per my Captain’s orders, I’m assigned as your partner. So whatever you say, I’m yours anyways.” The flirtatious undertone of her words would be clear to him, but so would the “you’re stuck with me” part of her statement. Whether he liked it or not, he would have to find a way to enjoy her presence.
[break][break] “So where are we going?” The witch grinned at him as she let him pass after her greeting and explanation. Rosa was going to follow Zaven to the ends of the world on this mission, and she was ready for it.

He gave a soft, kind smile as he needed to get a move on rather quickly, but when she said that she hoped that she was invited all Zaven could do was tense up as he remembered his duty, her next words about telling him that her captain's orders were to find Zaven and help the man...Zaven sighed as he looked at her when she asked the final question. ”We are heading for the Witches Forest, the outskirts hold a ley line...I am sure you already know what those are...if not I do not mind talking more about it, but we are constrained to a time limit I am afraid.” He looked at her and invited her in as he gave her a report on the leylines from when he went through them, obviously there was a name that she would not know and descriptions of places that she might have found to be familiar, but all in all it described that the leylines could be utilized as a way to move through Clover quickly as well as be useful in terms of defending the country should they find a way to harness the latent energy there. ”Needless to say, the daemons have found this energy source as well and have begun to subjugate areas that are normally out of the patrol range for Magic Knights or areas that are not used to seeing these kinds of events...not that this is a natural or recurring event. I do not know the odds we will be up against but most likely...this could very well be a one way trip so even though you were tasked to help me I have to ask if you are ready for this?” He asked as he looked at her with a deathly stare, his azure eyes not holding that same warm aloof feel they usually did...this was not even like the dungeon runs where he lost control of his own will...this was something deeper. [break][break]
If she answered yes that she was still going to go with him then he would grab a rucksack and then take the papers from her and stuff them inside before pulling out a spatial seal and placing the rucksack on top of it before letting it disappear. This item was something that Elanor created of course so the uses of it outside the knowledge of the Golden Dawn was not really known, but he did not have time to be quiet about this. ”Let’s move, we are going to take a different route though.” He would say before his grimoire would float out beside him. He would take a deep breath before speaking in a commanding tone. ”Typhon show yourself” calling forth an ancient name a great dragon would crawl from the shadows and stand on all fours, taller than the Golden Dawn’s barracks as the members of the squad looked upon it with a silent fear that it was coming to attack them. ”Hope you don’t mind riding a dragon with me to the Witches forest to go kick some daemon ass and liberate an area from its influence.” Zaven was a man that liked to make statements, and this spell had to probably be his most bold yet.
Rosalia couldn’t help but smile back at the Blake she was looking for. At first he simply seemed to want to get past her. She saw him tense up at her next statement about Malcolm and she knew that he didn’t want her to come along. The two men were…honestly…alike in the way they wished to keep her out of harm’s way. Even though they knew it was in her job description as a Magic Knight to do her best for the kingdom whenever disaster struck. [break][break] When Zaven finally caved in to telling her where he was going, she raised a red eyebrow before nodding. “I uh, actually have no clue what those are. I’ve heard mention of the term before but never really found the time to research.” The beauty smiled sheepishly as she rubbed the back of her head before giving him a look with which she hoped he’d elaborate. Rosalia was quick to pull out a scrunchie and tie her long crimson hair back into a high ponytail when the comment about time constraints came up. “Well, I’m good to go. I came prepared with rations and whatnot.” The witch followed her old friend around the office as he explained the idea and energy behind leylines, earning sincere surprise from the nerdy beauty who felt a new interest spark in her heart. [break][break] “That’s fascinating! How come Clover isn’t using them to our advantage? It would make trade with the poorer regions so much easier.” She voiced as her heels clicked besides him. He then spoke out about how the daemon armies had been utilizing them, making Rosa fall silent for a few seconds. It was a logical move for enemies of her kingdom to take. They had to utilize and take hold of every vantage point they could. [break][break] The ice witch shook her head with a laugh when he asked her if she was ready for this highly probably one-way trip. She could see the seriousness in those gem-like sapphires, but she waved it off with a grin. Rosalia Boreas was, above most things, a workaholic. Her mission was to help him so she’d miss days of sleep willingly in order to find him initially if she needed to. There weren’t many things that she had to live for anyways. She’d devoted her life to the people of Clover, and to the Magic Knights Order. There was really only one regret she’d have, but the beauty froze the idea and sank it underneath whatever feelings she had. [break][break] Finally, after Zaven grabbed whatever he needed and utilized some rune magic that made Rosalia cock an eyebrow to the side, before they walked out of the base.
“That’s new.” The commented before watching his grimoire flare up and summon a giant monstrosity that she would quickly gasp over. “So is that!” Her awe laced her voice as practically screamed in amazement at the dragon before her. It was a spell after all, not a creature with its own will, like Azordesmon and Azisorius. The two were also dragons anyways. “It’s so cool!” The beauty moved energetically around the dragon, taking in all of its features animatedly. She was practically electrified to get on the thing. [break][break] “I don’t mind at all! Just explain to me the mechanics of the spell while we fly!” Rosalia grinned as she climbed onto the monster up the tail, making sure not to hurt it with her sharp heeled boots. The Black Bull Vice Captain would wait for Zaven to show her the ideal riding spot before she sat down next to him, still grinning widely.

He jumped up effortlessly before landing right beside her as they were only separated by the spiked spine of the shadow dragon. He looked at her as he did not have to even give the dragon directions as it knew where to go because of the thoughts that Zaven had going through his mind right then...it was not the hotel in the Capital of course, but the Witches Forest. She said that he could explain the mechanics and the Leylines while they flew and he did just that. ”You see… He pulled out the piece of parchment paper and handed it over to her. ”This little slip here was made by our spatial mage and with the formulae written on it inside of the magical seal it functions as an extra space to store items for a small amount of time. The dragon you are riding is named Typhon, in mythology this creature had no defined shape but was said to be the very god of all dragons...it is a wonderful piece of text if you can find it. This spell showed up shortly after a trip I took in the desert...I fought an actual dragon there...with Ardere, but that is another story...The Leylines, the reason Clover has not been able to utilize them properly is because the magic is not able to be tamed I believe, the daemons are probably banking on that one piece of knowledge to further along a way to destroy Clover or otherwise enslave us as a whole...who knows what their aim is…” He said as he gave a heavy sigh, they soared above the Royal Capital and managed to kill a few daemon spawn along the way, but soon they were out over open land as they could see people fleeing the area. It was truly a gut wrenching sight, the vision of a man so powerful yet unable to help his country directly when it was needed. Zaven was heartbroken, but he knew that there were other things to be done that was the whole reason for leaving of course. [break][break]
”It truly is terrible what is happening...I hope that we are able to stop whatever the fuck is going on in time, and I hope there are plenty of bars left afterwards because I plan on drinking all of them dry if there are.” He said as he commanded the dragon to speed up, pointing towards their destination. ”Better hang on Rosa...it might get a little windy.” He said as the dragon flapped harder and faster until it reached its full speed. Arriving at their destination it was easy to see the destruction. The Witches Forest was on fire, or at least a part of it was. It made the Shadow of Dawn angry as he gripped the dragon’s shadow scales and had him come down just outside the area that they needed to be in. It would do them no good to just go in without a plan. So far from the quick survey that they were able to do Zaven was able to tell that there was a simple, almost tribe like setup around a scar in the land, the scar was not so they could actually bring out a physical energy, but to signify that there was something running through the giant somewhat instant battlement that had been erected. He looked at Rosalia and sighed before the dragon let out a low whimper. Even the golem knew that there was a significant power nearby. ”so, there isn’t really anything we can do, but we gotta do something. If you got anything I’m all ears..”
Rosalia almost yelped when Zaven landed next to her atop the dragon. She didn’t know what she expected when it came to his climbing atop the summoned beast, but…well, the ice witch was surprised. Once they were both settled comfortably, the dragon of shadows shook as it lifted off. The beauty sat, wide-eyed at first as she experienced flight through such a majestic beast. She then turned and gave the Captain of the Golden dawn a wide grin. [break][break] “This is so damn cool!” She expressed her happiness and softly ran her fingers over the scales of the shadow dragon, petting it caringly. Rosa knew that it probably didn’t care or couldn’t feel her, but she liked displaying attention. Especially to Mana Beasts or things that looked alike. [break][break] Zaven then answered her curiosities about leylines, taking out a piece of paper with a formula on it. The red-eyed beauty glanced through the different symbols, her gaze pausing on the runes she recognized before moving further along the paper. Had the Blake not explained the full meaning of how the formula worked, she wouldn’t have been able to guess. Her knowledge was of ancient runic, with all of the more complex symbols taught to her by Azordesmon. She lacked the understanding of modernized runes and the ones that pertain to perfect spaces and related magic. “That’s fascinating, perhaps you should introduce me to your special mage so he can teach me more of modern runic and unique terms.” Rosa hummed and leaned her head onto Zaven’s shoulder, closing her eyes as the wind played with her gorgeous crimson locks. [break][break] “Typhon's myth sounds interesting, I'll scour the Grand Magic Archives for the myths when we get back.” She yawned adorably, like a little kitten as she nuzzled into his neck. His scent was familiar and calming. And considering she’d slept a lot less than usual, this ride could provide her with some much needed rest. [break][break] “I like dragons, I’m…sad you had to fight one. Was he trying to harm Clover?” Rosalia asked, moving her head away so she could look at him properly. His sapphire eyes were as mesmerizing as the clear ocean on a sunny day. [break][break] “I’ve met a pair of dragons too. The older one uh, taught me some ancient runic and trap magic.” The beauty admitted, glancing down at her grimoire as she recalled her weekend with Azisorius and his father, the powerful Azordesmon who shook the earth beneath her feet as he spoke. It was mesmerizing and scary at the same time. She had felt like an ant in front of the great dragon, who turned out to be kinder than he looked. Her pale fingers ran over the back of Typhon’s scales gently. [break][break]
“If they look even remotely hot they can make me their slave any day.” Rosalia joked once the topic of the daemons came up again. She gave the Blake a wink, the both of them knowing there was nothing truthful in the sexual jest that had left her lips. She, more than most, loved being free. “Whatever the case, I trust the Magic Knights, ourselves included, will find a way to get over everything thrown at us!” Her voice held an encouraging enthusiasm as Zaven destroyed a few lesser daemons along the way out of the Royal Capital. The beauty sighed and lay down on her back as the dragon took off full speed towards the witches forest. [break][break] “Windy is nice, I’ll just nap on the way.” She lifted an arm over, inviting him to cuddle with her while they travelled. It was a one-time offer, but she’d rather have him hugging her than looking distraught over the present state of their kingdom. [break][break] The scent of burning wood awoke her, and Rosalia narrowed her eyes as she rose up to take a look at her surroundings. “Well fuck.” The witch cursed at the destruction that had been wrought upon before Zaven and she’d arrived. This place was supposed to be, partially, her origin home. [break][break] “I’d say we start by dealing with those weird daemon tents and the things walking around that dark scar in broad daylight.” The ex-model voiced her idea as she glanced about the ruined area. She took her grimoire out of its socket and turned to Zaven as she decided as to the best plan of action. “Is Typhon coming with us, because I can put a large trap on him in case someone gets too close. He’s your dragon friend.” The alternative was giving wings to just the pair of them and having them both go in and wreak havoc upon the area. She voiced that too and waited for him to make his decision. The Black Bull mage was here as his aid today. [break][break]

Putting an arm around Rosalia he admired her from the closeness they had. It was a little cool up in the air and their movement speed did not help much either. He would not miss an opportunity such as this as he held her during the flight. She examined the paper and asked for introduction, and Zaven just smiled as he would try to arrange something after the whole ordeal was over. He laid back and relaxed with her after taking out the daemons on the way out of the capital. Their trip was silent for the most part as they soared high enough where mana beasts did not bother them and the daemons below would have a hard time seeing them. ”I didn't even come close to really hurting the dragon Rosalia...those things are forces of destruction that cannot truly be contained. I am glad you received more training, and under the care of dragons, and if I can imagine correctly...they were probably cut from the same cloth as the one I faced with the crimson lions...that training must have been difficult. But through all things if we don’t die from it...we get stronger from it right?” Zaven said as he laid next to her. The trip was literally the entirety of the night and the the two of them would get a little rest, of course for the Golden Dawn captain it was more like meditating as he could not afford to let his mana rest, but he was not straining too much, and Typhon moved as if it were on auto pilot. There was a moment when, in their trip he noticed that Rosalia had fallen asleep, and he was still beside her. Looking up gave a beautiful view of the moon and the stars, they shined upon Rosalia’s face and body like some sort of painting and he heard Typhon groan a little as the shadow mage put a hand on his creation. He knew that these golems had no real semblance of life on their own, but he did pretend they did. Then there was the raven… [break][break]
Hraban floated above Typhon before landing on Zaven’s toned stomach since he was laying down. He pointed to the beauty beside him and then pointed at Zaven, which earned the Spirit a shaking of his new master’s head. ”Unfortunately no Hraban, we are not together...this is just a comforting mechanism, trust me if I was able to coerce her I would...but, that is out of even my power my new friend. Keep a lookout until we arrive, I will introduce the two of you once we land.” Hraban seemed satisfied with the answer, he did not speak further, but a slight smile came across his little face before he transformed back into a raven and flew back off of Typhon and left Zaven with Rosalia. The smell of burning trees alerted him as he sat up, being gentle enough to allow Rosalia to get some shut eye, the sun peeked over the mountains, bringing tothem the view of the Witches Forest. ”I would have to agree with you, the little tent they have constructed will be a concentration of enemies anyway, and of course...when have I ever decided to take on a challenge without making a big statement. Would you rather I summon the giant golem again to protect us while we stand atop the beastly dragon as it rains shadowfire upon the daemon below?” He would say as a peculiar little raven would land near Rosalia and look up at her, it did not make a noise, but if felt familiar like Zaven...but definitely much more ancient. If she did not pay attention to it, the bird form of Hraban the raven shadow spirit would approach her and jump up on her shoulder and look at Zaven triumphantly as if it had won some great challenge, and of course if it did...Zaven would introduce the two of them. ”Rosalia...this is Hraban, the shadow spirit I made a pact with when I fought the dragon, I know I did not get to say much...it is also where this jacket came from. Hraban, you met Rosalia last night, so I am not going to say much more about the beautiful woman, you will know her soon enough.” Zaven said as the raven transformed itself into a little half bird, half man thing, wearing a native looking raven foat, and bandages all over its body. ”Ros..a…” It actually spoke as Zaven turned his head like someone just smacked him, crawling over the map and invading the beauty’s personal space suddenly as he came face to body with that little bastard. ”The hell you mean Rosa...you won’t talk to me, but the moment a woman is in your presence and giving you attention you actually speak?” Zaven looked Jealous for a moment before he stood up and sighed and straightened his jacket. ”Right...well here is how we should do this, Rosalia please climb aboard Typhon and I want you to attack in the air, your presence will divert their attention anyway. I will attack the encampment directly and destroy all that I can, and then we will regroup before finding whatever leads these bastards and try to capture it for information. Can you live with that? I won’t take any unnecessary risks, I promise…” He asked for her input, he had a plan in his head, but he was not about to put her in danger as well if he could help it.
Rosalia was pleased that Zaven had no qualms about holding her as she napped. He was warm. She loved warm. It was a comfortable change for her due to the way her body functioned. The Ice affinity had the side effect of having her body several degrees cooler than the normal human. When she became angrier, it would drop to temperatures which made her wonder how she even functioned. Perhaps the shadow oddity that she carried due to her unknown bloodline also had a say in how she survived, but the witch had never really bothered asking around. Witches had the tendency to mate with humans in order to reproduce, keep the female children and either orphan or kill the male ones. All things considered, Rosalia was lucky to even be alive. Whoever her mother and father were, it would remain a mystery to her unless she actually found herself caring or properly curious. Until then, she was content with sleeping the arms of particularly delightful noble gentlemen while on a giant shadow dragon to her mission location. [break][break] She listened to him tell her about how strong the large desert dragon was and she nuzzled into his chest as she murmured “I’d say Azordesmon was a strict but fair teacher. [break][break] *** [break][break] When Zaven and her began to strategize, the beauty’s attention was quickly attached to a little crow creature would land on the ground besides her. Did this thing…have a mana signature resembling the Blake or was she just still half-asleep. She shook her head as she nodded at the proposal. [break][break] “That sounds good. I need a bit of time to have my trap spells take hold. They’d be able to protect Typhon from anyone if they approached. I can still cast my other spells in the meantime, but I’ll try not to move from my spot atop of the dragon, if you wouldn’t mind?” As she was finished pronouncing that sentence she felt a soft pressure on her shoulder and turned to look at the small crow from earlier. It seemed to be staring at Zaven, and just as she was about to politely open her mouth and ask “the fuck?” her friend introduced her to his new spirit. Her eyes widened briefly as she processed the information before glancing back at the crow. [break][break] “Uh…Hi. Nice to meet you.” Rosalia was completely caught off-guard. The crow then transformed into a humanoid with a little puff of smoke…and she just stared. This was so surreal. When it said her nickname she was about ready to lose it had Zaven not looked like someone just shot him in the foot. He got into her personal space and stared his spirit down as if he was hurt. [break][break] “I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for that to happen.” Her shoulders fell as concern danced over her features. When he pulled back to actually continue planning, however, the beauty wrapped her arms around him for a quick, but warm hug. [break][break] “Just don’t do anything stupid. And take our incorrigible spirit child with you.” She joked lightly, trying to lift both of their spirits before the fight. Once she pulled away, Rosa took her grimoire out and Zaven would feel an instant turn of the winds onto the chillier side as her mana gripped at the air and everything around her. Her runes spread over the front stomach and back-side of Typhon as she began casting two Embrace of Winter traps. She would be done sooner than most due to Azordesmon’s rigorous training, but she couldn’t afford to rush further. Every rune in the spell was important. [break][break] “I advise we get done as quick as possible…this can be a bit draining on the mana reserves.” She gave him a confident wink, despite the worry that her comment expressed. Once they were both ready, even if her traps weren’t done setting, Rosalia would take Typhon up in the air and quickly rain fire from above the encampment. [break][break]
“Winter’s Kiss.” She would mutter under her breath before stepping to the side and breathing cold shap icicles down upon the encampment, seemingly landing the spell on four…creatures? They seemed human but less developed muscularly and less intelligent. What the hell? Daemons were weird man. The ones hit crumbled down into little piles of dust and she hid behind Typhon as more of them came out of their little tents. [break][break]

Description: Rosalia takes two rounds (Saboteur) to form a trap on a visible location of her choice while within 8 meters of it. Once formed, and the enemy steps within range of activation, a set of razor-sharp black icicles spring out from the magic circle and aim to impale the enemy for Senior Rank Damage. The icicles will follow behind the enemy and have the ability to split out upon command or if there are two or more within the 40 meter radius and chasing them down until they leave the radius, are impaled or the spell is dispelled.

The Shadow of Dawn was entranced as he watched her work, as if she were a talented director of an elaborate orchestra as the symbols appeared on the shadowed scales of Typhon before becoming nearly untraceable to the naked eye. Her little surprise at meeting Hraban and Zaven’s little invasion of her personal space was taken well and Zaven did not feel bad at all because as long as his spirit was with her...she would be out of harm's way, she might even feel a bit revitalized seeing as she had an oddity to her element in the form of shadow mana. Rosalia was quick to remind him of the mana drain that the traps and additional spellcasting would take so he gave a quick nod as the two separated. Typhon took off, while Zaven outstretched his right arm and his grimoire flew up and glowed as the shadows began to distort and pull towards the mage. The attack was commencing, ”Erebus Strike my foes before me and leave none alive.” The shadow bow appeared as he took off in a dead sprint, his Final Abyss armor activating as his speed increased further. He did not look up to Typhon and Rosalia as he knew that taking his eyes off of the job at hand would put him at risk. He entered the camp. [break][break]
As Rosalia attacked, and Zaven came up and began to fire arrows and use the bow as a physical weapon if they got in close it was apparent that Fezek was in a bad spot. The daemon prince however, was very headstrong and came out of his own tent and brandished his horse killer sword, stylised as a giant butcher's blade he pointed at Zaven. ”YOU THERE! SHADOW SPAWN, YOUR SOUL IS MINE!” Fezek said before brandishing the blade like some berserker and charging at Zaven, ignoring the dragon above him raining hell upon the camp.”Too bad for you...my soul already belongs to another…” Zaven would say as he would aim his bow and shoot arrow after arrow. A parry, another parry, and yet another until the daemon was within striking distance as he swung the blade in a horizontal forward slash as an opening gambit. Zaven was able to deftly step back and dodge the blade narrowly before the daemon showed an extreme control of the blade and instantly changed direction, a vertical slash which seemed to split the air and send a shockwave blast that hit Zaven square in the chest, cracking the armor a bit in places. ”You will not escape my blade shadow user.” Fezek said calmly as he leaped at Zaven as the shadow mage was thrown by the strike. Zaven had to think fast, so he stopped himself and noticed a few blades of the dead daemons that Rosalia had felled moments before he entered the camp that was now set aflame with a shadowy flame. He brought the blade up and rolled away from Fezek as the giant blade slammed into the ground and sent out another earth shattering shockwave as the scar in the center of the camp widened and sent Zaven tumbling. ”Fuck this thing...with a spiky trolls cock!” Zaven cursed as he got back to his feet and rushed the wrath filled daemon and the two met in a clash that created an ear piercing metal scream as the metal bit into each other. Fezek smiled before throwing his blade and punching Zaven. The Shadow of Dawn let go of the blade he had before receiving the punch. The two then began to have a physical contest, as Fezek laughed. ”YOU FOOLISH LITTLE MEAT SACK! ONCE WE DRAIN YOUR WORLDS ENERGY WE WILL HAVE CONTROL OF A MAGIC FAR MORE POWERFUL THAN ANYTHING YOU CAN EVER DREAM!!! YOU THOUGHT OUR FATHERS DESTRUCTION OF SPACE AND TIME WAS BAD!!! JUST WAIT TILL WE ACTUALLY COMPLETE OUR GOALS!” He yelled out in Zaven’s face as the two wrestled and traded body and head blows. Zaven had had enough of this fucking asshole and his long coat offered the best tool for the job. He triggered the lava ability attached to it as Fezek’s eyes grew wide with surprise. Zaven knew that the ability had caught him off guard and slowed him so he quickly punched Fezek before throwing him down into the lava...Fezek did not know it was all a trick and the sensation of his skin burning quickly faded as Zaven brought down the daemon’s own blade upon its head , decapitating the bastard as an explosion of power flooded the area and put out the fires, the daemons...or what was left, scattered. Zaven was not done though as he had only a sliver more information than what he had before, but a scream could be heard from Fezek’s tent. Zaven rushed to it knowing that the sound came from a woman’s voice. He tossed a skyward glance to see where Typhon was to make sure Rosalia was ok. [break][break]
Arriving at Fezek's tent he was met with a truly horrific sight as he flung the drapery over. Inside were several dead witches...they were torn apart, and some were...IT was best that he did not go into the details, but he knew that he would not need to let Rosalia see this, as he found the map that Fezek had along with several ravens, a parchment next to them and Zaven wrote in blood on each parchment. ”I am going to kill you all. Signing his name and title as he released the raven’s he heard one of the witches that was...barely alive asked for help...her eyes looked so pitiful and the help she wanted was not freedom, Zaven could see that she was...bearing...she wanted release. Zaven swallowed hard as he silently bent down and showed the witch his true face...he was crying...The Shadow of Dawn was truly at a loss of words as he summoned one of his shadow daggers and was about to end the life of the witch. Would he be stopped?
Rosalia was pleased when she saw the four mongrels crumble beneath her ice spell. She crouched down, holding onto Typhon with one hand as the wind swept through her hair and mantle, dancing a dangerous jig as the mongrels screeched and shouted profanities at her. It was language she couldn’t quite catch at first because of the way the wind blew in her ears. Then she started catching words here and there. Only a few of them were in common ranged from “Catch her for the master!” to “Die, die, die!” It made the witch chuckle. She’d heard worse. [break][break] She could see, out of the corner of her eye, Zaven going head to head with a much larger demon, one whose presence intimidated her initially, but she trusted her friend to be able to take care of him. [break][break] “Typhon. I’m going to cast one more spell on the ground. Can you land afterwards and help me two-man how many are left?” She asked the golem, as if she was expecting a proper vocal response. She made sure that Hraban was safe as she moved upon Typhon carefully. It It was spell from Zaven, she knew that golems didn’t have feelings, but she wanted to try talking to it nonetheless. As the dragon’s massive wings flapped around, causing little hurricanes in their own right, the pair headed down towards the ground. Rosalia hissed as she ducked down further to barely dodge out of a large shadowy tentacle, spawned from one of the mongrels. [break][break] “Sheer Cold.” She hissed as she found a place where four of the enemies had coagulated and were shouting at her while casting weird spells. What kind of spell type was that? She couldn’t tell but she’d rather not get hit by it. Her Sheer Cold spell broke suddenly in between the four mongrels, freezing them solid while giving herself and Typhon a small shield of icy mana. [break][break] The pair were quickly surrounded by the remaining enemies and she could feel Zaven’s mana flare from behind her. At least he was alive. Two of the Mongrels quickly jumped at her attempting to strike her with their shadowy tentacles, but Typhon quickly hit one of them with his tail, while the beauty felt a tingle in her core as the rune traps were set. A little smirk crossed her lips before the second one of the attacking enemies smacked her across the shoulder with its shadowy tentacle. The beauty winced, grateful at the shield she’d given herself before feeling one of her Traps go off of Typhon’s front onto another one of the mongrels, impaling him with her powerful spikes of black ice. [break][break] “Fangs of Frost.” Rosa muttered, summoning her trusted spears out, before slashing down at the enemy who’d managed to land a hit on her. She could feel herself growl, knowing she’d have a bruise tomorrow, before she chucked her seconds spear down at the other mongrel. Zaven’s mana died down a little, but from its remaining presence in the form of Typhon, she could tell that he’d won. Speaking of the Golem, it straight up stomped back onto the mongrel that had finished off Rosalia, before sending the last enemy flying into one of the smaller tents with its wings. [break][break] The beauty glanced around the area surrounding them for anymore enemies, before slouching for a few seconds and dispelling her remaining trap off of Typhon along with the rest of her spells. Her mana reserves were at half, and she leaned against the dragon to catch her breath before looking around for Zaven. She could see a small trail of blood leading to a larger tent, and her heels clicked over there slowly. The witch didn’t expect what she would see next however, as she moved the tent flap open and the smell of corpses hit her instantly…[break][break] “What in Azordesmon’s name…” Rosalia’s voice had grown small and filled with disgust as her eyes scowered over the inside of the tent like that of a rabid dog. She fell silent as her crimson gaze landed on Zaven next to a woman who looked barely alive. Her condition…made the already pale woman turn white. This had to be some kind of fucking sick joke. Had she not been able to see the conflicted look in the Blake’s eyes as to what to do (and had he not been here with her) there was no telling what sort of fit of rage would have overtaken the red-haired mage. She’d probably be more beast than beauty. [break][break] What should they do? By the names of all dragons she could think of, if the beauty could’ve killed Fezek herself right now, she would’ve. She hadn’t even noticed when she’d loosened control of her mana, creating a crust of ice over the dead bodies in her anger. Rosa closed her eyes for a brief moment before going over to Zaven and gently taking the dagger he was holding into her own hands. [break][break] “It’s okay, sister. We’ve got you…we’ll let you go out on your terms.” The beauty whispered, her body temperature way cooler than was probably healthy for a normal person. Her ruby eyes glanced over at Zaven as she murmured the word sister. They were both witches. [break][break] “I’ll end her misery. Wait for me outside, please.” Her gaze looked down at the poor wench, once a witch. It was a matter of pride at this point, pride that she could only partially understand, as a woman supposedly a witch, but raised by human men. If put in such a position, what decision would the red-head make…? Whether Zaven decided to stay or remain inside, and aid in turning this witch into a willing corpse was his decision, but she’d steel her resolve as she used the shadowy dagger to impale her straight in the heart. A quick death she more than deserved. The Vice Captain held the woman in her arms as the life drained quickly away from her, and she exhaled softly. She closed those dead eyes with her manicured fingers and pulled herself up from where she sat. Before looking for Zaven. [break][break] In reality, she knew. She’d pick life any hour of the day, every month of the year. She was selfish that way. Her purpose was the Bulls, her friends and the Clover Kingdom, and she was willing to suffer an unnumbered amount of horrors to protect them. [break][break] “Burn them or bury them?” The witch asked her partner. For once, the playful Vice Captain of the Black Bulls had no words. She couldn’t humor either of them considering the gravity of the situation as her ruby hues stared up at the clear blue sky. She was still pale, but unlike the woman she was at first, images like these no longer made her hurl or question others’ sanity. This was the cruel reality of the situation they were in. War. Description:Rosalia creates a single lance out of black ice with serated edges. The lance can be used as a held weapon or be thrown at a creature. Allies are allowed to pick up the lance without taking damage and whoever is holding it gets +9 to their Power stat. Once the lance is embedded into an enemy it deals intermediate damage and gets stuck there. Upon removal it deals intermediate damage once more due to the ice magic’s cutting ability and the shape of the weapon. The spell is modeled after one of Vulkan Rinvol’s as the pair spent time training together but modified to fit Rosalia’s more ally-based fighting style.
This spell goes off of the projectiles/ammo/occurrences/ rules based on a mage’s control.
The spell cannot deal 2x intermediate damage with the same spear in the same post.[break][break]

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] Right before he plunged the dagger in he heard her voice, that voice that was music to his ears, and a calming sensation usually only made him more anxious in this moment as he never wanted Rosalia to see...this...He felt her anger, the cold bit against his skin and his Final Abyss armor dropped, the Shadow of Dawn was drenched in sweat at this, but he did not mind the cold...it helped to bring him back to reality and he was ready to finish the job just as Rosalia gently took his dagger away. Zaven did not dispel the shadow spell as he breathed heavily, an intense anger swept over him, sorrow filled his heart as he only could think of what might have happened had this been someone he knew...then the flash of his memory telling him he just killed that bastard daemon. When Rosalia asked for him to wait for him outside...he stood up quietly and did as he was told for once not even questioning it. Once outside he felt that rage he had been holding back boil over and his azure eyes looked like flames for a moment before Hraban appeared at his shoulder, holding a tooth from the mouth of Fezek the daemon, the canine to be exact.” He pocketed the gift from Hraban, and sighed before noticing Hraban just left him once again, it was inside the tent with Rosalia...the wait felt like an eternity as the sky began to dull out to an ugly grey color. [break][break]
Rosalia soon came back out as he turned to face her as she just asked if they were to burn or bury them. Zaven had already thought about it as he had Typhon and Achilies summoned and they made graves for all the women. Zaven even had checked the other tents to see if there were any others left. Sure enough there was not, but there were remains. A mass grave for the ones unable to be identified, but seperate graves for the witches inside Fezek’s tent. Achilles moved them with haste and precision and the job was done in less than five minutes. When it was all finished it began to rain, any fires that were burning were smothered as the downpour started, leaving Zaven and Rosalia alone as the would get back on his Golem. The Shadow of Dawn did not spare any words of condolences as he did not know the witches, but he did say something that would ring out in his and Rosalia’s head for the rest of their lives. ”I WILL make them pay…” He would say as Typhon would take off, flying high until they crested over the clouds, he would move them in the direction of a Golden Dawn rest stop that was along the way to the next Leyline spot...Zaven remembered these spots already...His eyes filled with an anger that would not be quenched. [EXIT]
