[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝I hear a song of woe shadowing our past in sorrow.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania looked back at Kusa for a moment, he wasn't going to go into his personal medical history, more so since only two people knew it in full. His sister and his nanny. He knew when he was having night or day terrors he was given the flower, it was even in the incense he was carrying on his person now. He didn't know of the person he was working with or their magic, but being that he travelled merchants he most certainly knew of the effects of the flower he spoke of. It likely ran rampant in certain places in the forsaken and maybe some gardens of the common region, he knew it was grown on both his families estates to make sure that could be used to help with the medicines that he needed. His eyes went back to the nervous Laric who hugged his new plush and stroked Amostia while he drew.
At first, there was nothing there just basic shapes, he moved closer but made sure not to stand, the last thing he needed to do was to tower over the already nervous youth. His eyes went back to Kusa as he asked his question before looking at the nurse "He had a few broken bones, bruises, minor cuts and a concussion." she said informing them of the things they had found. "We managed to heal most of the injuries but the mind... that takes longer." she admitted, the white-haired youth nodded. As much as he wanted to voice that some of those wounds never healed, it would be detrimental to the recovery of the young boy and that was something he wasn't about to do for any reason. The boy had been through enough as it is and didn't need to hear that he might never get over the trauma.
It was then he noticed that Kusa was standing and getting nearer to Laric "Kusa on the ground, don't tower over him please." he said looking back to the picture once more. He saw the dead, the wrecked wagons and then a beast-like man, it was when Kusa asked a question he nodded "A minotaur." he said in disbelief moving back but staying on the ground "Thank you so much Laric for helping us, we will make sure the bad being is punished so you can rest easy and your friends can be at peace within the flowers." he said as he moved to his feet. "I'll make sure to visit after if you like." he said to the boy who hugged his plush and nodded. "Could you draw me a picture of some birds for when I come back then? I would love to take one home." the boy smiled and nodded.
Hania moved out of the room allowing the nurse to deal with Laric and awaited for Kusa in the corridor so they could decide what to do next. Hania had a perfect memory but he wasn't too accustomed to their current surroundings. Ssoshi was Black Bull territory and normally without being sent by a captain or being invited into a task they tended not to step on each other's toes. "I don't know Ssoshi well, did you recognise any of the markers on the image?" He knew it was a long shot given it was a crude image of a seven-year-old. He would allow for Amostia to remain with the boy until they got out of the building, it would be enough time for him to help the nurse to put him to a peaceful rest. It would only be after Kusa gave any information he could that they would be able to go forward.
Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Light Class & Type: Relic ¦ Accessory (bracelet) Magic Specializations: Physical Reinforcement ¦ Healing Appearance & Lore: A simple bracelet made out of reinforced glass with an opalite charm dangling from it almost like a pendulum, that gives off a dull light during the day and a bright light during the night preventing any natural shadow from forming.
There is nothing of major historical importance or deep story into where this item came from. The white-haired heir of the Ravencrest family has suffered from terrible day and night terrors since he was young and still does to this day. When asked what is wrong he brushes it off telling people not to worry it was a condition he had. He will never go into the terrible things he sees, in fact, he personally wishes he could forget he quickly realized that his perfect memory was a double edge sword and at times he truly wished he didn't have it.
His elder sister Lydia was the first to realize that it happened more when he was in an emotional state or surrounded by darkness. She also realized that he refused to sleep unless every light source he could find was active or he would sleep outside under the sun during the day, this wasn't optimal as he was to be trained to take over the family if anything were to happen to Lydia. Still, there wasn't much anyone could think to do to help him as he refused to open up but even if they could that came with a different set of hurdles they had to get over. Hania earlier in his life wouldn't take things from people due to his treatment before being adopted.
It took a while but Lydia finally found a way to help her younger brother, she had a crystal made with light inside and told him to use it when he sleeps. She said it was hers and she just wanted to see if it would help. He was reluctant but she said it only had to be a few days so he accepted. Throughout those few days, he slept somewhat peacefully so it was clear that it helped but not enough, she could only guess that the light wasn't strong enough. She realized this would be fine for a normal child afraid of the dark but it was clear to the pink-haired woman that this wasn't a normal situation.
She personally designed what she believed would help him the most, she chose the materials, their appearance even the opalite that dangles from it. As the bracelet was being made she slowly started to imbue her own element into the glass beads and the opalite as the former was created and the latter was shaped. It took close to a year to complete but Lydia seen it as something that should be done slow and steady, this was to make sure that it was done right the first time and that no matter what it would be near indestructible for whatever he may face in life.
On what is now classed as Hania's eighth birthday after a certain incident happened, she gave him a box, within it laid the bracelet. He was told to keep it with him always as she would be there to keep the darkness at bay and watching over him so he could be at peace while he rested. From that moment he has always kept it with him even if he hasn't always worn it.

Kusa was surprised. A Minotaur was something he'd thought as a myth and he did still have reservations about what the child actually saw. And his illustration was that of a young child, unrefined and prone to over exaggerated proportions. Perhaps he was merely attacked by bandits with horned helmets or the creature was a construction of magic. There were other variables to consider before making any sort of assumptions. Regardless, whatever was causing the string of disappearances had to be stopped and they'd managed to find some sort of clue. Larics drawing ability was ordinary at best so it was difficult for Kusa to determine if there were any clues that would pertain to them getting a location. The Elfs eyes scanned the drawing while he tried to match any of the drawings features with local landmarks. There were a few things that looked familiar but nothing really leapt out at him which would allow him to make that sort of judgement call. Instead he turned the illustration around so that it faced the nurse, Kusas index finger pointing towards a cross roads. The Black Bull may have resided in Sossei since his induction into the Order but he'd spent the majority of his life between the Basin, the borders of the neighboring Heart Kingdom and the Common Region. He'd spent little time in the small trading town, but he expected the Nurse would "This outcrop, I've seen it before" the nurse nodded, further explaining that it was a thirty minute walk down the left bridge leading out of Sossis gates, going left at the second intersecting junction. Kusa asked her another question, hoping to bridge the gap information "And how about the Hunters? Are they still around? Perhaps we could question them and figure out where they'd found him. Might give us a bit more clarity on where to look." The nurse looked down with heavy eyes as she explained their departure not too long after dropping the child into their services. Kusa cursed at their lack of luck, but at least he had SOMETHING to go by.
Kusa turned his attention towards Hania "I can't be confident that this is where the drawing is referring to, but its close enough and it won't take long to get there. About thirty minutes out of the towns walls, there is an outcrop near the side of the merchants road. Its usually used by travelers or transporters as a rest stop. There are a few that line this stretch of road, so it could be any one of them with a few leagues."

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝I hear a song of woe shadowing our past in sorrow.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]He could understand why others may think it was a child's imagination running wild especially with everything that had gone on. It was like the monster under the bed or the beast in the closet. He on the other hand didn't believe it was the trauma, he believed the young survivor when he portrayed what he had seen. Certain memories get burned into a person's memory even without having one like his own. Even if he was proven wrong in the end it meant little to him, at least in this case, as Laric needed to know there was at least one person in the world that believed his tale. He continued to wait for Kusa's arrival but it would seem as if he had at least one more question to ask of the nurse, this was going to be a bother he could tell but at the same time, he could understand.
The nurse shook her head "Laric has been here for over a week now, the hunters have moved on as they have to move with the herds they are hunting." she said answering, she wished she could have been of more help to the man but at the same time, she knew that just wasn't going to be the case. "I'm very sorry that I can't help any more than this." she said almost worried that she had disappointed the pair. Hania shook his head, "Not at all miss, this has given us far more than what we had previously." he said trying to reassure the woman the best he could. The nurse nodded and headed back into the room to deal with her charge leaving the two magic knights alone in the corridor. "That was a wise question, it was a pity it was fruitless." he said
This wasn't meant to come off as a snide comment, he honestly meant what he said and was disappointed that they wouldn't be able to gain more information. Still, they had a starting point that they didn't have before and that was at least something. He nodded to what the other had said, he had walked for hours to get here it wasn't like a bit more walking was going to kill him. "Lead the way then Kusa, as I said I'm not familiar with this area." It wasn't that he disliked or hated the people that called to forsaken region home, he just didn't like the region itself, more so now that there was a growing shadow grand mana zone in the area that kept him feeling a pulling motion. It was stomach-wrenching but he managed to ignore it thanks to there being a task to concentrate on.

He nodded, gesturing for the Ravencrest to follow. They'd walk out of the hospital and towards the towns main entrance, a clear span separating the high walls fortifying its residents and infrastructure. As one of the only entrances leading into the heart of the clifftop settlement it was busy, with merchants and travelers moving in and out of the infrastructure. Kusa kept to a steady pace, ensuring they'd cover enough ground without unnecessarily tiring them out prematurely. If they were lucky they'd find some sort of lead within the first few travelling stops leading out of Sosshi. Kusa was confident they were on the right path, it was just a matter of determining how long they'd have to traverse to get what they wanted.
Kusa lead Hania along the high stone bridge , taking the left path in the branch which would connect to a stone paved path leading eastbound. It was a main route which connected the township to their distant neighbors and was a popular means of travel especially for wagons and carriage and its easy to navigate "road" allowed for a quicker transit time. He glanced back to make sure the Lion hadn't fallen behind "There's a rest area 1 league up the path. Although I doubt we'll find anything so close to base I'd still recommend we take a look. Doubt the thing is sticking to one place, although those details weren't stated in my brief." Kusa kept his pace and continued to walk the path. They didn't have to go far beyond the settlement to see nature slowly become more abundant as grass and moss began growing from the cobbled stones, seeping through the mortar where gaps had been chipped away. From either side of them the bush slowly thickened and although the locals tried to maintain the stretch of road, it was an undertaking far beyond their budget.
After walking for almost an hour they'd reached the first stop, a large meadow breaking the lush flora and big enough to accommodate numerous travelers. The problem was that there was no defining landmarks or features among the numerous camping spots which lined this trading route. He simply hoped they'd be lucky enough to find this "minotaur" within the first few, dreading the prospect of having to seek transport if their initial scans were unfruitful. Kusa tapped the flat of his sandaled foot to the ground, trigger his Grimoire to flick through its parchment contents. As it stopped on a pair of pages a cluster of seeds materialized from the center of the book, gently hovering a moment before plunging themselves deep. When the seeds planted deep enough their shells burst violently, thin root systems penetrating and weaving through the dirt and pavement, extending out to his spells maximum range of influence, approximately forty meters. Magically induced grass spouted from the ground, but the presence of his spell was foreshadowed by the already abundant vegetation. The only visible part of his spell was the manifestation of a map laid out before him with different types of grasses, and clovers, depicted a representation of his surroudings topography while noting the location of mana signatures. His emerald gaze looked down on his construction, his brows furrowing in mild frustration "Nothing. Aside from ordinary animals there is nothing here -" he sighed "- at least not yet"

[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania followed without much issue or word, it wasn't like he was going to play tour guide or pretend he knew the area better than the magic knight whose squad was quite literally within spitting distance of where they were currently. He took in the surroundings easily memorising them just in case it was required in the future, whether it be in the near or distant future was yet to be seen. He was confident however that the pair would be able to deal with whatever was to come regardless of what that trial might be, after all, they weren't untrained civilians who didn't know what was coming their way. The issue that the white-haired youth was having however was why it took someone so long to reach out to the knights. Surely, when travellers and merchants were going missing even without a survivor someone would have noticed they didn't turn up or return to whence they came from.
It was all far too odd for him. He walked over the stone bridge and kept up Hania looked at Kusa when he saw him looking over his shoulder "Are you use to people not being able to keep up with you or is it you are worried I may get tired and lost because I'm a noble?" he asked, he fully understood if it was the latter because even though most of the magic knights came from noble backgrounds they were as useful as a wet sandwich at the best of times. "You are actually going slower than what I was when I walked here." he informed the other "I was wondering if you were tiring." he wasn't attempting to be rude to him as he knew that he was faster than an average person, it was more he was concerned for the other.
He nodded and walked in the direction of the rest area "It didn't say anything in mine, that is why we needed to speak to the child." he said calmly stopping to watch what the other was doing. It would seem as if he was doing a tracking spell, he couldn't help but think about how quaint it was, not because it was weaker or the element because he remembered when he had spells that were that strong. It was nice to be reminded of his beginnings every now and then. "Perhaps your map doesn't reach far enough." he said looking to the other "Allow me to try." he said as he held his left hand out while his right went to his chest. Hovering above his left hand a snowflake of ice appeared.
From it, a heavy ice like mist seems to fall from it and slowly creeps further and further out. When it reaches the range it was able to the ice shaped like a snowflake moved onto its side to be flat. From that, a highly detailed three dimensional model of the area made of ice seems to form from the ice flake. There was quite a lot of clear ice effigy seen on it in the shapes of animals, a frosty effigy on the pair was seen above hania's there was four snowflakes above him and one above kusa's. Hania pointed to a black effigy that had one black snowflake above it around fifty meters away from their location "I believe that is what we are looking for Kusa." he said noticing quite a few traps along the way, they weren't magical but more hunter's traps. "Well this is going to be fun isn't it." he said running off but made sure he kept at a pace the other would be able to keep up his map floating between them so they could track any movement and avoid traps.

"No, not at all. Forgive me, you just weren't what I was expecting. I'm not too proud to admit I was wrong about my initial judgement of you, so I apologize. But if you think you're able to keep up then lets pick up the pace." Kusa increased his tempo and surprisingly the Nobleman, and heir to the Ravencrest Family, kept up with almost no effort.
Once they arrived at the first open meadow, a designated resting point for travelers and merchants, Kusa initiated his mapping spell. Upon inspection it seemed nothing of notice was detectable on his grassy construct aside from local fauna. It was then that Hania offered his assistance, Kusa nodding before cutting the supply of mana to his spell causing the green topography to dissipate into the ground. The Elf stood up from his initial crouch watching the Crimson Lion unfurl their magic in the form of of misty ice which spread out around them. The detail in the spells constructs were grades above his own capabilities and the difference in their power was obvious. In truth it was deterring but strangely also reassuring. Kusa was well aware of his limitations, both natural and magical so was able to formulate strategies and spells which bridged the gaps in his abilities.
As Hania pointed at a dark item on his map he'd also identified several traps littering the path. Strange considering the areas proximity to public resting services. The Bull promptly followed after the Lion, his eyes darting between the frozen map and what was in front of him, ensuring the match the pace set as well as follow in his general footsteps. His sandaled feet pattered along the soft grass of the meadow, towards a dense patch of trees to the West. Kusas nose lifted to the air, picking up heavy scents of iron. His initial reaction was to stop but the pace had been set and he didn't want to fall too far behind. While maintaining his pace he looked over to Hanias general location "I smell blood. This cant be good." As they darted through thick brush the Lions sensory spell accurately displayed the locations of potential traps, allowing the pair to efficiently weave around the dangers.
Kusa appreciated the skill it required for a mage to maintain a spell while exerting themselves physically as the feat in itself was mentally taxing. And he'd instinctively taken the vanguard. These were subtle things the Bull noticed. Hanias spell eventually led them towards a river lined in thick bush with a pebble stone base and across the river stood an imposing silhouette amidst thick trees. Kusa stopped immediately and came to a crouch, wondering if they'd been spotted. Luckily it seemed like they hadn't been spotted as the creature went about its actions, its snouted nose sniffing at the ground. As they got closer the stench of iron was thick, confirming his intial suspicions "Blood...."

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝I hear a song of woe shadowing our past in sorrow.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania looked to the other and chuckled lightly "You have no idea how many times I hear that." he explained as he shook his head "Please think nothing more on it, nobles do tend to have a stink around them due to their arrogance and superiority they seem to hold. I find it foolish personally they just happened to have the good fortune to be born into a well off family and didn't earn their status." he finished before he had a thought. "I wasn't lying about my origins within the hospital. I was abandoned as a child and was saved by the woman I now call my sister." he trailed off and looked to the sky for a moment "It is because of my misfortune and now good fortune I have an understanding and point of view that many nobles lack. I also very much hate the 'us' and 'them' mentality that both noble's and commoners share." he said honestly.
He merely nodded at the suggestion that they should pick up speed, he was keeping up with ease and if it hadn't been for the fact he still didn't know the lay of the land or more to the fact, if he didn't have a junior who was slower than him then he would have gone at full speed. He easily manoeuvred the traps "We'll need to disable those before we leave the area or someone will likely be in danger." he said to Kusa, it was a danger and likely was part of the reason why these people were sitting ducks to the beast they were about to take out. It was another mystery for sure, it could have been something innocent in the hopes to try and stop the attacks but it backfired. It bothered him.
Hania covered his nose with his sleeve the instant he smelt the iron in the air, the thick copper taste got into his mouth and made him want to gag. He was having a moderate trigger but he would be able to push past it "If the blood was any thicker in the air it may as well be liquid." he said, he still wanted to throw up. It was one of the reasons he hoped he never had to fight alongside his cousin Michail, the blood element triggered flashes and he didn't need it if it was at a vital time. Seeing the bull crouch he did the same "Amostia, have a look." he instructed his spirit that had been flying above the entire time who done what was asked of him. "Why do I keep wearing white." he sighed with a sigh shaking his head.
"We can't wait too long or it will pick up our scents, it likely won't mean much but if you can distract it with a restraint for a moment it will Amostia investigate if anything in that broken wagon will explode if I attack." It was true he had plenty of single-target spells but not all of them followed the enemy and he wanted to make sure there weren't any unexpected surprises for either of the two. He would have been fine but he didn't want to put Kusa in any sort of danger, that much was clear. Everything was meticulously planned before any action no matter how insignificant was done, the hospital would have proven that.

Kusa admired the mans honesty, and his willingness to expose such a personal detail about their life to a complete stranger. Any boundary that once separated the two now broke down and the basis for true co operation began. With the two Knights in proximity to the Minotaur they came both to a low crouch, Hania sending his frosted spirit to survey the area from above. A wise move, the Black Bull thought. From the skies the soaring bird could gain a perspective not shown on Hanias mapping spell, and it added another pair of watchful eyes. Their preparation begun.
The Crimson Lion requested Kusa act as a distraction, possibly using his binding spells to keep the Minotaur at bay. Kusa nodded, putting his trust in the Senior Knight. The Elf crept forward slowly, alternating between heel and toe and spreading his weight out wide to minimize the noise he made while rustling through the bushes. His command over mana wasn't as absolute as his companions, and he had a limited range in which he could manipulate his magics. To compensate for that he'd have to bridge the gap that separated the Knights from the Beast.
Once he felt he was close enough he took a deep breath, filling his lungs with a fresh batch of air and slowing his pounding heart rate down. Although adrenaline was helpful in situations of survival and physical exertion, some occasions demanded calm. This was one of those occasions. Another deep breath, and then another until finally his heart fell into its natural rhythm and allowing the fogginess to disperse, allowing him to think more clearer. The Black Bull unbuckled the brass blip which locked his Grimoire in a leather bound holster, releasing his magical library from its shackles. It hovered slightly to his side as the pages slowly flicked from page to page, stopping only when it reached the spell in which its caster visualized. The spell incantation and circle glowed, creating a tendril of intertwining grass to shoot from its contents and snake towards the hybrid man beast.
Simultaneously Kusa cast another spell which caused an almost similar tendril to shoot from the other page, instead this time the tendril of grass dug itself into the ground, individual blades of green snaking through the dirt before settling almost in front of the Minotaur with a single Black Clover protruding from the Earth. The first tendril extended out, flying through the air and swerving through obstructions and over the river. Once it came close to the monster the tendril dispersed into smaller strands which each individually constricted around the thick hooved legs of the manabeast, restraining its legs while digging its root system into the ground. The act in itself was superficial and it did little more than slow the beast down, but the underlying power of the spell was not through its ability to incapacitate. Its hidden strength rest in its ability to sap its victims mana while also supplementing its wielder with a fraction of what was drained. While the Minotaur was bound and sapped it went into an obvious rampage as it stomped around on all fours, acting as if snakes were climbing its legs. Strands of grass were slowly being ripped from their foundations and the bind mildly started getting weaker, but its effects were still being felt.
With its mana drained and Kusa refreshed, he slowly stood up. Against the lush backdrop of greenery and lush vegetation his Black robes stuck out like a sore thumb and the creature instantly looked on his form. Instantly he had become its sole focus causing the monster to shake its head in annoyance, its front fingered hands digging into the soil and scrapping down in a gesture of aggression. The Elf merely stood there with grimoire hovering, waiting for the beast to make its move. He wouldn't have to wait long as it burst into a dash towards him, its hoofs digging deep into the ground and springing forward with large thick thighs. It didn't get far at all as within four steps it had stood near the Black Clover which sprouted earlier. Another magic circle activated, grassy inscriptions spreading out around the charging fiend with more tendrils surfacing from the ground, this time wrapping around its arms and once again sapping the creatures natural regeneration on mana.
Kusa crouched low, ready to unleash another round of spells towards his aggressor, but also hoping Hania had a plan. Kusa could possibly defeat the beast on his own, but it'd be a long hard fought fight with sacrifices taken on both sides. He was nowhere near strong enough to come out of the encounter unscathed and at beast all he could do was wear the creature down bit by bit.

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝I hear a song of woe shadowing our past in sorrow.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania looked to Kusa for a moment he had no idea what was running through the other man's head and he wasn't one to speculate either. Respect was something earned in the white-haired male's eyes, it wasn't something that ever should be expected no matter the reason. He actually respected farmers far more than he respected most nobles merely out of their work ethic and how they served their kingdom, it wasn't the same as the two knights did but it was still vital hard work. "You opened yourself up, so I paid in kind. I dislike knowing the personal information of a person without giving something of myself up to balance the field. The fact I'm adopted is an open secret within the noble circle, let's face it I don't exactly look like anyone else in my family and it isn't because I want to make a fashion statement." he chuckled lightly.
He allowed his spirit to fly off and give him a bird's eye view of the area, the black bull had agreed to do what he had requested. He already knew by the map he was using that his current teammate was still going to have to get closer than what either of them would like in all honesty to the beast. It may have not been raging right now but that could easily change, especially with the request that he himself gave to Kusa. Even though he didn't have to, he followed the others lead and moved forward being careful of how he positioned himself and his feet to make as little noise as possible as he moved through the fauna and flora. He knew this minotaur would have a keen sense of hearing on top of his keen sense of smell. For now, the blood heavy air helped disguise their own scents as did the fact they were downwind.
Hania watched as the other eventually stood as he unleashed not one but two separate restraining spells, they did nothing more than slow the beast down and make it angry. Its attention was fully on Kusa after all, in its mind he had been the one to attack it. It didn't mean that Hania was going to get off scot-free as he was so close to Kusa. He then heard something from Amostia, there was a second minotaur. Hania knew there was something off when he had looked at his map previously, there had been a random bull effigy. He was no farmer but he was quite sure that bulls usually stayed with a herd of cows especially given the season but it was there on its own with no animals around it.
"We have a second one of them Kusa." he said as he stood up "It's likely heard this one making a fuss." he said looking to the map only to see the bull effigy change to be the same as the minotaur effigy as it got closer. He wasn't exactly worried about taking out the pair, from what he could tell from the one closest to them they seemed to be young not that he knew much about minotaurs but they were often said to tower over grown men, these two were around their own heights. "Juveniles perhaps." he mused out loud so the other could hear him. Well, they'd know soon enough. Hania raised his left hand, a semi-transparent twenty-meter ice blue seal began to form within the sky above them.
From the seal what could only be described at first as snowflakes begin seemed to descend from the seal, these were in fact actually small shards of sharpened ice and not snow. The area's temperature drops as if a blizzard had just begun out of nowhere, Hania had made sure to curve his attack around Kusa so he wouldn't be harmed by it. The blizzard seemed to pick up to the point it was seemingly a whiteout, he and Kusa would be able to see perfectly but it was clear that the same couldn't be said for the two enemies they were facing that were still trying to rush forward. Hania took Kusa's arm and lead him back and out of the way just in case. The two minotaurs were currently blinded and that would make them unpredictable in their movements, he was leaving little up to chance. The small sharp pieces of ice started to cut into the two beasts hide making them scream out in clear pain.
He knew that minor frostbite would be kicking in, it was a side effect of his magic much like a certain degree burn was a side effect of those with fire magic. It all came to an end however as quickly as it started, the two beasts slumped down on the ground, his eyes went to the map and their effigy faded. Satisfied the blizzard stopped "They were indeed young, that was one of my weakest spells and they perished easily." he said looking to Kusa, it was clear there was something more on his mind. "If you are content that this is the end of things, then I will say it was a pleasure to work with you and we will part ways, however, if you do not believe this is the end of this issue then I would suggest we continue down the rabbit hole together."
It would be clear that Hania didn't believe that this was a coincidence and he wanted to find the true answer to what was going on there. He honestly didn't mind if the other left to go back to his squad, after all, he had done the task asked of him. "I'm going to disable those traps while I think of what the next move is going to be, you are welcome to join me Kusa." he said as he moved away to walk down the path only stopping to pick up a stick and throw it onto what would seem to be the first trap which was revealed to be a magical bear trap "I hate hunters at times." he said before picking up another stick for when it was needed again, it was now up to Kusa what he wanted to do next as he had already made the decision to see this through till the threat was dealt with for once and for all.

While binding the Minotaur, Hania had informed the Elf that there was a second beast incoming. It was not something he was sure he could take on his own, and apparently he wouldn't have to. As soon as Kusa was about to voice his concern the Crimson Lion had activated his spell, creating an ice seal above them. Once the spell activated it enveloped the area in a blurry white haze and on closer inspection one could see small shards of ice ripping through the hybrid man beasts, the hulking figures falling to their knees. Hania had made it look easy, which he confirmed later on stating that the creatures had to have been juveniles, smaller beasts who'd separated from the pack by the Alpha Male who now roamed the Forests.
But what he said next was unsettling as he suspected there was more to this investigation than meets the eye. Hania was convinced this rabbit hole went deeper and offered Kusa a place by his side in carrying out the mission. The Elf thought about it for awhile, not because of the possible danger but rather the burden he'd become if he came ill equipped. He looked over to the Noble and nodded his head "No. My Duty as a Knight compels me to see this thing through to the end. I wouldn't sleep at night knowing someone else was hurt when I turned my back. I'll accompany you. "
