Swirling magical essences are not uncommon, especially after a dimensional rift in time and space. Why a cave has turned into an overgrown home for dangerous mana-beasts, you ask? Who knows, but the Magic Knights have to handle it before it becomes more serious. Eradicate the dangerous monsters inside while still leaving the place habitable for regular creatures of nature.

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝I hear a song of woe shadowing our past in sorrow.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]So much had happened of late and it didn't seem like it was going to let up anytime soon. He should have been resting, he said that he would but here he was on another task this time assigned to him by the captain of his squad. That was a first but he was one to follow orders, all he could do was double up on his medicines and hoped that they would keep him well enough through this task so he could write up his report and finally get some of the much-needed rest he kept denying himself because of one thing or another. His ice-blue eyes moved to the brightly glowing charm on his bracelet 'Lydia would kill me if she saw it this bright.' he thought to himself knowing just how much his sister would worry about him and how far she'd go to protect him, even from himself.
He had to take a carriage to get to Nairn, he hated the fact that he was requiring to take transport so often as he liked the walks or runs he had getting to where he needed or wanted to go. At the moment, however, he couldn't afford to waste even the slightest amount of energy. Winter couldn't explain why his body was the way it was, he was fit and healthy yet for as long as she had been helping to took after the white-haired Ravencrest heir if he got sick or injured then he would need a lot more time than would be normal to heal or get better. Even healing magic or her medicines seemed to do little to combat it, it was like his body was fighting off anything that would help it heal even though it was struggling to do it itself.
On the way to Nairn, he took the opportunity to read over the report so he knew what he was up against. It turned out that a rift had happened in a nearby cave and had affected the wildlife living within it which now made the things within it a threat to the populace. There were other suitable knights that could do this even within his squad but he had been the one requested to take it on. He couldn't say it didn't bother him but he sort of understood why he may have been chosen, like his sister he would follow orders and be efficient about it. He was also able to think on his feet and adapt as required while being efficient, since his sister's departure from the Crimson Lions to the Azure Deer people had been wondering if he would become the next vice-captain. In honesty, he didn't want the position.
Soon enough he would step out of the carriage wearing a plain white hanfu with an ice blue hem and belt, going into his sleeve he'd bring out an ice blue silk cord and tie his hair back "Henry if you wouldn't mind going to the town and resting the horses and getting yourself something to eat." he said as he moved into the darkness of the cave. The light of his bracelet illuminated the place, it made it harder to conceal his presence and so made him a target. He didn't care much about that as they would all end up dead anyway, his sensory was strong enough that even without the light he'd be able to sense them. He stopped hearing rustling nearby, it was odd because it wasn't like an animal was making it was very hard to describe, well, that was until he moved his hand forward.
There it was, seven strangely mutated and overgrown mushrooms "What in the gods names." was the only thing that escaped his lips, he didn't know that rifts could do this kind of thing but he didn't exactly know what kind of rift had opened within this cave and who if anyone had done it. Raising his left hand a semi-transparent twenty-meter ice blue seal starts to form above him, from the seal what can only be described at first as snowflakes began to fall, it was actually small shards of sharpened ice. Within the area, the temperature drops as if a blizzard seemed to pick up within the area blinding the mushrooms preventing them from attacking him. The small sharp shards of ice shredded their soft skin, with that single spell all seven mushrooms had been taken care of, he had to admit he was enjoying the coolness the spell gave as it touched his skin though he suffered no effects from it.

These small sharp shards of ice cut into the skin creating minor frostbite to the area that they touch causing nothing more than perhaps some shivering and discomfort due to feeling like being jabbed with needles. Due to his ability in sensory and with the right control stated within the ammo rules he is able to avoid harming or blinding allies with this spell. Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Light Class & Type: Relic ¦ Accessory (bracelet) Magic Specializations: Physical Reinforcement ¦ Healing Appearance & Lore: A simple bracelet made out of reinforced glass with an opalite charm dangling from it almost like a pendulum, that gives off a dull light during the day and a bright light during the night preventing any natural shadow from forming.
There is nothing of major historical importance or deep story into where this item came from. The white-haired heir of the Ravencrest family has suffered from terrible day and night terrors since he was young and still does to this day. When asked what is wrong he brushes it off telling people not to worry it was a condition he had. He will never go into the terrible things he sees, in fact, he personally wishes he could forget he quickly realized that his perfect memory was a double edge sword and at times he truly wished he didn't have it.
His elder sister Lydia was the first to realize that it happened more when he was in an emotional state or surrounded by darkness. She also realized that he refused to sleep unless every light source he could find was active or he would sleep outside under the sun during the day, this wasn't optimal as he was to be trained to take over the family if anything were to happen to Lydia. Still, there wasn't much anyone could think to do to help him as he refused to open up but even if they could that came with a different set of hurdles they had to get over. Hania earlier in his life wouldn't take things from people due to his treatment before being adopted.
It took a while but Lydia finally found a way to help her younger brother, she had a crystal made with light inside and told him to use it when he sleeps. She said it was hers and she just wanted to see if it would help. He was reluctant but she said it only had to be a few days so he accepted. Throughout those few days, he slept somewhat peacefully so it was clear that it helped but not enough, she could only guess that the light wasn't strong enough. She realized this would be fine for a normal child afraid of the dark but it was clear to the pink-haired woman that this wasn't a normal situation.
She personally designed what she believed would help him the most, she chose the materials, their appearance even the opalite that dangles from it. As the bracelet was being made she slowly started to imbue her own element into the glass beads and the opalite as the former was created and the latter was shaped. It took close to a year to complete but Lydia seen it as something that should be done slow and steady, this was to make sure that it was done right the first time and that no matter what it would be near indestructible for whatever he may face in life.
On what is now classed as Hania's eighth birthday after a certain incident happened, she gave him a box, within it laid the bracelet. He was told to keep it with him always as she would be there to keep the darkness at bay and watching over him so he could be at peace while he rested. From that moment he has always kept it with him even if he hasn't always worn it.

Echo and Zeus were lounging around the Jaegar estate as always, doing nothing of much importance. The Jaegar males were sitting around with Echo reading a book on the culture of Zeus’ homeland, while the other was busy cleaning his katana with what appeared to be a rather large cotton swab. Echo would look up when he saw his brother walk in and begin to speak to the two of them. He would clear his throat before saying “What are you two doing? Why are you not up and about doing something real, like maybe training for the magic knight exams?” [break][break] Echo would take his eyes from the book before saying “Dude who cares about those exams? Hopefully I suck enough so that no squad picks me… Being a magic knight is what you wanted, I didn’t ask to be involved in that foolishness.” Zeus was still cleaning his blade while he spoke up and said “Oh Julian you should know im not taking any part in that. I’ll stick to doing the charity work of the family and going to lead hunting parties.” The oldest Jaegar in the room would let out a rather heavy sigh before he would smack his palm into his face. [break][break] “You two are such a disappointment. Instead of bringing honor to our family name and helping us possibly raise our position in the kingdom you rather sit around doing nothing.” Suddenly everyone’s attention would move to a small spell that was cast, which appeared to be a communication spell of sorts. As the transmission came through it was from a higher up in Julian’s squad, the male would begin to speak saying “Julian! Oh you’re at your family’s estate. Well that’s good that means you should have no problem going to the location of the mission im sending you on.” Julian would push up his glasses as he would begin to speak saying “A mission I thought today was my day off? The captain said so which is why im home and not at the base.” The man talking from the other side of the spell would say “Well things change, that’s part of being a magic knight. However we need you to travel to a cave just outside of Nairn, it seems some type of magic is being used to transform regular creatures into mutations of their former selves. The creatures have been deemed dangerous and need to be taken care of, since you come from a family of hunters we deemed you the best person for the job. We have got you some help from the crimson lions, he should already be there by the time you arrive. Report back once the job is done.” [break][break] Julian would sigh before saying “Yes sir, understood Julian signing out.” Once this was said the spell would disappear prompting Julian to sigh again before saying “Fuck my life…” Echo would laugh before him and Zeus would stand from their seats with the latter placing his sword back in his sheath on his side. Echo would then walk over to his brother saying “So brother… seems like you don’t wanna do this mission your superiors gave you, maybe you could send us your place? Of course we aren’t as strong as you but together I think we make a suitable replacement. So what do you say?” The older Jaegar would rub his chin as he pondered the question before he would say “Well it would save me the trouble and I could continue doing my research… Oh sure why not go for it. Just make sure you don’t get in the other magic knight’s way too much I know how you two can be.” [break][break] Zeus would smile as he would wrap his arm around Echo before saying “I promise we will be on our best behavior. On my honor as a swordsman.” Julian would scoff before saying “Yeah whatever just hurry up before I regret my choice.” As he walked away. Echo and Zeus would then look to each other as they walked out the home and Echo would say “I’ll race you there!” As he would take off full speed running forward. Zeus would then yell out “No fair you started early and cheated!" as he ran behind his cousin. The trip would not take long for either of them but due to his magic Echo would arrive a few minutes before Zeus would. He had made it just in time to see the man he assumed was the support they sent for Julian, as he seemed to kill a horde of mutated mushrooms all in one go. [break][break] After watching the event Echo would scoff before saying to himself “Pretty fancy… Ice magic not too shabby at all. And he seems pretty strong…” He would then enter the cave once the first bit of creatures were dispatched, he would make himself known as to not startle the man saying “Yo, the name is Echo Jaegar. The Azure Deer were supposed to send my brother Julian Jaegar but he’s kinda tied up at the moment so he sent us…” The red head would look back behind him seeing if Zeus had yet caught up, which he did almost as soon as Echo turned around. Zeus was clearly panting and out of breathe as he would then look to Echo saying “You… got… damn… jerk… You could have carried me like last time instead of running off without me!” He would then take notice of the other male present at the beginning of the cave before saying “Oh hello, my name is Zeus Jaegar.” The two would then begin to feel the chill of the spell that the mage had previously casted, with Echo saying “Damn you mind doing something about the temp in here? I can see you use ice magic but this is just a bit crazy don’t you think?”

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝I hear a song of woe shadowing our past in sorrow.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]The white-haired male was just about to go deeper into the cave when he felt two peaks in mana, he turned to look watching as two males stopped in front of him. The first to arrive was one with red hair followed a few moments later by the man with black hair. He remained silent as they introduced themselves and explained what they were doing there, he was absolutely astounded that a magic knight would send a civilian in their place. "I see. Your brother is in dereliction of duty and it will be reported." He closed his eyes to prevent himself from letting out an irritated sigh on the matter, he already needed rest and was expecting another magic knight but because the knight in question seemingly had something better to do other than his job had sent his civilian brother and cousin in his place. He had to wonder how his brother was going to write up his report.
He imagined it would either be filled with lies or 'I had something better to do so I sent my brother in my place.' he had absolutely no doubt that his version of events would be remarkably different from what actually happened, the problem was Hania's reports were always beyond reproach because of his perfect memory which had been shown time and again as he went down to the smallest detail if he believed it important. Would explain why most of his reports looked like novelettes. He put his left hand to his chest while his right hand was a little ways away from his body with the palm facing the two men as he bowed a little "My name is Hania." he didn't give his last name to him there was no need to, it didn't make any difference to the task at hand.
"Unless you are a child and he is your father he shouldn't be carrying you, besides running builds up stamina." he would say to the shorter of the two men he tilted his head and looked directly at Zeus "You aren't a native to Clover are you." he said in Zeus's native tongue, he didn't want to make assumptions but between the complexion, his accent and the blade at his side he knew there was a good chance that this was indeed the case. "If I were to hazard a guess you are from the land of the rising sun, I was born within the sleeping dragon." he would say to the other showing that he was from a nation somewhat similar to his own and knew what it was like to feel like a fish out of water if he wanted company at any point.
"The temperature?" he said calmly, if the pair looked he wasn't shaking in any way and likely out of the three was the one that should be affected by it. "You are wearing a jacket with a fur collar, how are you cold?" he asked perplexed as if a spell this low was making him cold the heavens only knew what it would be like if he used one of his higher-ranked spells. He waved his hand cancelling his spell the light from his charm now on full show. "That was mild, I prefer it far colder." he informed the two men as he turned back to face deeper in the cave. 'I could do this without them but that would use more magic and effort than I would like, I have little choice at current. Doesn't mean I am overly happy about it though.' he thought to himself as he moved deeper.
Walking down they came to another large clearing but stopped just before it as he quietly listened, there was nothing to be heard but that in itself seemed off to him. This place was supposed to be filled with dangerous wildlife and yet there was nothing in this room apparently. He was ready to put his hand in but he didn't want to draw any unneeded attention if he could help it. He decided that a map spell would be a far more convenient way of doing things going forward as now he was with two citizens that really shouldn't have been there in his opinion. Believing they followed him he would take a moment to think "If you intend to help in this task, please work smart and listen to what I say." he said his tone once again was neutral but he wasn't looking to make friends.
Holding his left hand out while his right goes to his chest what started to hover above his left hand was a snowflake of ice, from it a heavy icy like mist fell from it and creeped out and around the area that it could. When it reached the range the ice mages sensory allowed it is able to, the ice shaped like a snowflake moved to be flat, from that a highly detailed three dimensional model of the area made of ice seems to form from the ice flake. Four black effigies of large black bats were seen hanging from the ceiling below them there were three snowflakes. There was three frosted ice effigy that looked like himself, Zeus and Echo. Above Zeus and Echo, there were two snowflakes while above his own there was four. "Seems there are four bats" he informed the other pointing to the map so they could see.
If they looked it would show the area around the room they found themselves in where there were two black coloured bears where further in, above the bears there would be four stars above them. He knew those bears were going to be problematic right off the bat as they were around his own rank and that was double that of the two men that were with him. This is why he disliked having civilians with him because there were so many unknown factors and he would have to hold back in case they, themselves done something stupid. Hania swiped his left hand towards the right which created what appeared to be a sheet of glass about an inch thick and standing around six foot tall and two-foot-wide, on first glance but this wasn't the case, it is actually made entirely out of ice.
The way he condensed his mana allowed the normal non-reflective ice to come across almost like a poor man's mirror. It wouldn't give any major details but a person would be able to see themselves within it. The edges of the ice were blackened almost as if it was the frame for it. Once completely formed he clicked his fingers, the mirror shattered into three shards, he pushed his hand towards the enemy the shards shooting quickly before a high-pitched screech before three thuds were consecutively heard. "I'll leave the final one to you." he had made it easy as they wouldn't have to worry about being flanked by additional aerial combatants.

Once Echo and Zeus had both arrived and introduced themselves, the magic knight would immediately say that he would be reporting the fact that Julian had sent his brother and cousin to handle the mission instead of coming himself. Normally Echo wouldn’t have cared about the fact that he was going to get in trouble however he was the one that somewhat pushed to be sent here. He figured at the very least he would try to make the situation just a bit better. He would look to the knight saying “Aye I mean I understand its your job, but my brother is a pretty smart guy and he is an high intermediate ranked knight. He figured he would send us just so we can get a bit of practice seeing as we are going to be participating in the magic knight exams in a few days. Plus you will find the two of us together are slightly better than just him.” [break][break] After Echo had made his short explanation the man would introduce himself as Hania. The name sounded familiar as if Echo had heard it somewhere before, he was very forgetful sometimes so it wouldn’t surprise him if he found out he had heard of the man before. He would then look to Zeus, thinking the other Jaegar would have something worth while to say. However the male would simply stand there smiling as he looked in the direction of the magic knight. He wasn’t looking at Hania but it sure did look like he was, until Echo would say “Hey Zeus you wanna stop standing there being goofy and say something or no?” The male would then perform an ojigi before saying “Oh we apologize if us being civilians causes an issue. However we had a grave family emergency that Echo’s brother had to handle as his father was gone away on business. The main issue was that he was told he would be given the day off but was then given this mission short notice, so we again apologize.” [break][break] The male would then give Zeus a bit of a ‘talking to’ saying that nobody should be carrying him unless he was a child and Echo was his father. Also pointing out how walking was good for him. Zeus would then laugh a bit before saying “Oh I was only saying that because Echo has~” His speech would be interrupted when Echo hit him in the side before saying “He can’t keep up with me and he just thinks im super strong so he always thinks I can run us everywhere…” Zeus would look at Echo with a weird look on his face, prompting Echo to do the same. He would then whisper to Zeus saying “Dont run your mouth about my magic you goof. Its not something everyone needs to know!” Zeus didn’t understand why Echo felt the need to hide his magic at such a time but he was sure he had a reason to and so he decided he would just play along. [break][break] Soon after Hania would begin speaking the language of Zeus’ homeland, which would surprise both of the Jaegars. He asked Zeus if he wasn’t a native of Clover to which Zeus would reply to but in the language of Clover. “No I am not a native, however I don’t like speaking in my home language much anymore… If I speak in the language of this land more I will lose my accent more and more, which is what im trying to achieve.” He didn’t like the idea of people knowing he was a foreigner simply from the sound of his voice, but it was just something he had to deal with until he could eventually get rid of the accent. He would then speak again after a short pause this time speaking in his native tongue saying “You are correct though, I am from the land of the Rising Sun… did the katana give it away more or was it the accent?” [break][break] After the two had their short convo Hania would say something about the temperature, sounding surprised that Echo had said anything about it being cold due to the fact he had on a jacket with a fur collar. The red head would laugh before saying “Just because the collar is fur doesn’t mean I can’t be cold… Im used to the heat, my magic produces a lot of it so yeah. Just my preference.” After he spoke he would then zip up his jacket as high as it could go in order to save his body heat. Echo shivered ever so slightly as he thought about how he said the spell in question was only mild causing Echo to think to himself *Geez if that was mild I know this guy is tough. That spell he did before we came in had enough mana behind it to match my highest spell. That means he has to be at least the level of a vice captain…* [break][break] Hania would then begin walking deeper into the cave and Echo and Zeus would follow closely behind. They would soon come to a small clearing, and it was there that the male would tell them if they intended on helping they should be smart and listen to him. Echo wasn’t really the type to take orders, and Zeus only ever listened to Echo and Johnathan but today they were both willing to make an exception in hopes that a good job on the mission would have the knights be less strict if they chose to punish Julian. It was then the ice mage would make a map made out of ice, which was very similar to Echo’s map spell. It showed not only their position but the position of 4 bats that where hanging from the ceiling, and 2 more creatures not too far ahead. Echo would smile before saying “Ooh you are a sensory mage too? Nice map spell I got one just like it.” The mage wouldn’t respond as he was clearly preoccupied when he would send 3 shards of glass looking ice flying up at the bats. He would then say he had left the last one for Echo and Zeus to handle, which would prompt Zeus to begin drawing his blade. [break][break] Echo then would look at his cousin saying “Dude what the hell? You aren’t about to kill a flying bat with a sword…” Zeus would laugh as he said “Didnt we go over this in your sword training? Never count out a swordsmen just because of the limited range of their weapon. However I guess I could allow you to shoot it down since you do have a bow.” Echo would then smile as he pulled the bow from his back, taking an arrow from his quiver and drawing back. He would send the arrow flying forward allowing it to his the bat, quickly followed by one more to ensure he got the kill. Just as the sounds heard when Hania had killed the first 3 bats, that same sound would be replicated once more as the bat Echo shot would fall to the earth. He would make a devilish grin as he looked at Hania and said “That was a nice shot don’t you think? I really need a new bow though Im surprised this one is still holding up so well.”

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝I hear a song of woe shadowing our past in sorrow.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]It was clear from Hania's face he cared little for the excuses why the one given this mission wasn't here and that they had turned up in his place. He was hurting and should be resting yet he was still doing his duty to the kingdom, a duty he and Echo's brother both signed up to do. He knew not every family was like his own but still, there was no excuse for this, he could have explained there was a family emergency and someone else would have been sent. "It doesn't change things." he said simply because to him it honestly didn't. "I understand you are trying to cover for your family member but stop, it is not worth it; if there was indeed a family emergency then he should have been smart enough to explain this to his senior. I, however, believe he just didn't wish to do his duty because it was his day off." he said his voice once again neutral as he spoke.
"So your brother is pretty strong then?" he said not wanting to exactly say that he was two ranks higher than his brother, of course, that was going to be short-lived given he was about to take three bats out on his own. "I do not believe there was an emergency personally as if there was a smart man would have told their senior and another would be sent, but that is just my thoughts on the matter." he said his tone not changing in any way. He listened to Zeus and how he was cut off by Echo "You have light magic." he said simply walking towards the last area. It wasn't too far a stretch for the ice mage given how hush-hush the red-headed male was trying to be in regards to his magic especially after speed had been brought up.
Lydia had it and had trained against her since he was eight, there was no way he wasn't going to know someone trying to hide that element from him with the pieces of information he had been given. "I've been here for thirteen years Mr Jaegar and I assure you my accent hasn't gone anywhere." he said to Zeus, he could understand wanting to lose part of yourself so you could fit in more and Hania wished him the best in that endeavour but he just honestly couldn't find the need nor the want to even to attempt such a thing. It was part of who he was as a person so cutting off even that part felt like he was being fake as a person or not a whole person, something that he couldn't fathom personally.
"Neither, your complexion and features gave it away." he would say to the other his tone showing the same neutrality he had the entire time he had known the pair. He listened to Echo saying that his element gave off a lot of heat and so wasn't accustomed to the cold "You haven't learned how to release mana to give heat without casting spells?" such a thought was completely ludicrous to him, he could do that even as a child. "You may need a tutor, perhaps your brother can help." he said continuing to walk down through the tunnels of the cave. "Yes." he didn't go into any further details on that, it wasn't the other's business at the end of the day. "My map gives what the enemies look like and the strength of any effigy in the map." he said pointing to the snowflakes "It also distinguishes allies, enemies and neutral parties." he pointed to the differing colour effigy.
"Are you sure you should be heir to your family? You seem quite dim." the ice mage said calmly "A sword like anything else can hold magic giving them abilities, these abilities act like the spells within our grimoires as they siphon off our mana as we use them." he said with an exasperated sigh stopping as the entered the room with the two purple void bears. Instantly a new shard of mirrored ice appeared, like before he clicked his fingers and three shards appeared. They hit both the bears but this done nothing more than made them angry, he didn't care as soon enough one of them would be dead and he could dodge the other with ease. Hania moving behind his back as if he is holding something, within his hand, a yanyuedao appears, he moved it effortlessly.
He dashed forward towards one of the now angry purple void bears his speed increased by over double allowing him to dodge incoming attacks while he thrust his weapon into the mouth of the bear and right through its skull his eyes went to the second injured bear who was enraged, it was frosted where it had been hurt previously and should be suffering but because of the rage it was in, it wasn't feeling the frostbite, pain or hypothermia. All he did was dodge and block the attacks using the weapon of ice he had made allowing for the pair to finish it off, once it had he would bow once more and make his way back the way he came not wanting to be in this place any longer than he had to. "You best remember every small detail because you'll have to write up a report on your brother's behalf since he can't. It would be wisest if he comes clean with his senior and that way the punishment can be lessened depending on what his captain." he said as he walked off allowing the pair to do whatever it is hunters did.

The way he has condensed his mana allows the normal non-reflective ice to come across almost like a poor man's mirror. It would give any major detail but a person would be able to see themselves within it. The edges of the ice are blackened almost as if it was a frame for it. Once completely formed all that is required is for him to click his fingers shattering the would be a mirror into several shards, the number of shards would fall under the ammo rules. These shards would float around him thanks to the way he can control and manipulate his mana, thrusting his hand forward allows him to send the shards towards an enemy in the hopes to hit them. Using ammo rules additional yanyuedao can be created and be given to allies but these are melee-based weapons and do grand damage upon a successful strike. Those that are hit directly with the yanyuedao find themselves affected by serious frostbite and moderate hypothermia.

With the use of ammo rules, additional peoples names can be written per trigger. It wasn’t long and clearly not hard for the magic knight to guess that Echo had light magic. He thought about holding onto the lie longer but it seemed pointless seeing that most would see his magic in a matter of days anyway. He would laugh slightly embarrassed as he would say to the male “You might be right.” This was the second time that Echo and Zeus had met someone who was widely familiar with people from another land, although this time it would appear this person was the polar opposite of the last. Hino was very kind and this Hania person seemed to be as cold as his element. [break][break] Once they had gotten to the bats Hania would also say to Echo that he seemed very dim, due to the fact he played a small joke with Zeus about trying to attack flying creatures with swords. Echo would think to himself *Yeah of course items can use magic but unless he wants me and him to possibly lose a limb its best Zeus not use that spell in such a confined space.* Before long the three would have taken out the mushrooms in the beginning of the cave, and the bats in the middle of it, the only thing left according to the map laid out by Hania were two rather large bears close to the end. The group would make their way towards the back of the cave, which is where the bears were to be located. Once they arrived it would seem that Hania had decided to take the lead on things yet again, something that kinda pissed Echo off. [break][break] Echo would scoff as the male began to do combat with the bears thinking to himself *This guy swears he is so damn tough… Damn I didn’t just come here to sit around and do nothing.* Zeus would simply stand there watching with a grin on his face, he was surely content just standing there and doing nothing. After Hania had killed one bear and injured the other, Echo would look to Zeus wanting him to get some action. The older Jaegar would then draw his sword and attack the already injured bear with a slash to the creature’s neck. The swordsman would then fall back allowing Echo to get a strike on the beast with his bow. As he fired the arrow straight at the bear it would strike and hit its head, right on the cheek bone. [break][break] After the small battle both the bears were claimed by the tight grip of death and both their bodies laid on the ground of the cave. Hania was just about prepared to leave, however before he did so he told the two to remember every detail of what had happened as they were going to have to write a report in Julian’s place. Echo’s face almost instantly soured when he heard this as he had no intent of doing any such thing. The knight also said it would be best if Julian came clean on what he had done, and maybe the punishment would be lessened. The ice mage would then walk off heading back towards the exit, leaving Echo and Zeus alone in the cave. “Man what the hell was his problem? He seemed like a bit of a jerk.” Zeus would smile before saying “I don’t know.. he seemed ok to me” Echo would do nothing more than let out a sigh before he would say “Yeah whatever I guess, lets just get the hell out of here.”
