Kenja Ravencrest stood at the gates of the vast estate that bore his family name. After years of rigorous training, he had finally achieved his dream of becoming a Magic Knight of the prestigious Golden Dawn. Now, as he returned to his ancestral home, a surge of anticipation coursed through his veins. The Ravencrest Estate was a magnificent five-story mansion nestled within the royal capital. Surrounded by lush greenery, the estate covered almost 200 acres of land, a testament to the family's wealth and influence. It had been a while since Kenja last set foot here, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia mixed with deeply hidden excitement below his stoic facial expressions. His primary objective for this visit was to utilize the family's magical training formation practice grounds. Located within the heart of the estate, these grounds were renowned for their powerful, concentrated magical energies. Kenja intended to harness these energies to enhance his magical sensory skills.
As he entered the estate, memories of his childhood flooded his mind. The grandeur of the mansion, the sprawling gardens, and the elegant architecture brought back a rush of emotions. The servants greeted him warmly, recognizing him as a member to the Ravencrest name. Their faces beamed with pride and admiration as they escorted him to the practice grounds. The training grounds were situated in a secluded section of the estate, surrounded by tall, ancient trees that whispered secrets of generations long past. Upon arrival, Kenja noticed the magical formations etched into the ground, pulsating with raw power. These formations had been crafted by his ancestors to enhance magical training, making the estate a sanctuary for honing one's magical abilities. With determination in his eyes, Kenja donned a blindfold. His goal was to train his magical sensory skills by utilizing the spaces' magical energies to follow the movements of training contraptions without relying on his sight. He sought to heighten his awareness and intuition, becoming attuned to the ebb and flow of magic around him.
Taking a deep breath, Kenja focused his mana and stepped onto the first training circle where a contraption was. It was a floating platform designed to challenge one's balance and agility. As he stood blindfolded, the magical energies of the estate surged through him. He felt a tingling sensation, as if his senses were expanding beyond the confines of his physical body. With his magical sensory skills heightened, Kenja could sense the movements of the platform beneath him. Every shift in the platform's position, every gust of wind, and every subtle change in the magical currents, he felt it all. His concentration was unwavering, as if he and the contraption were connected on a fundamental level. One mistake sensing how it was moving and he'd fall off of the platform.
As the hours passed, Kenja moved from one training contraption to another. Each presented a different challenge, from enchanted obstacles courses to magically animated sparring partners. With every blindfolded session, his magical sensory skills grew sharper, his perception keener. He was by no way a pro and was using the lowest level of training aids but it could tell he was getting better, even if just a little bit. His training became a dance with magic itself. Kenja could better anticipate the movements of the contraptions, reacting more effortlessly to the changing environments than before. He seemed to glide through the air, dodging obstacles with a minor amount of grace and precision, and striking back at the sparring partners with a newfound finesse.
Hours turn into days and then turned into weeks in his mind as is body and mind became taxed, and Kenja's progress was nothing short of remarkable thanks to the enhancing properties of the training grounds. His dedication and unwavering focus propelled him to new junior heights, his magical sensory skills surpassing even his own expectations. The energy of the estate seemed to resonate with his every movement, amplifying his abilities and allowing him to delve deeper into the mysteries of magic.
---
After a long and arduous training session at the Ravencrest Estate, it was time for him to take a break and found himself in a serene corner of the mansion's training grounds. A resting place to mend and drink cool refreshing water. The scent of blooming flowers filled the air, providing a calming backdrop to his thoughts. As he rested, he reflected on his goals as a Magic Knight and how he wished to develop his unique Pure Aura magic. Kenja desired to be a Magic Knight who pushed the boundaries of his abilities, constantly seeking growth and improvement. His magic, rooted in Pure Aura, allowed him to tap into the raw power of mana and weave intricate spells. With his grimoire, a precious gift bestowed upon him, he had gained the ability to manipulate his magical aura, reinforcing his physical attributes to extraordinary levels through physical reinforcements.
As he gazed at the intricate patterns of his grimoire, Kenja contemplated the nature of his magic. It was a power that revolved around himself, empowering him alone. While it made him a formidable force on the battlefield, or rather one day it would, he couldn't help but ponder if there was more to his magic than its inherently self-centered nature. He realized that while his current abilities focused on personal effects—increasing his strength, healing his own wounds, and fortifying himself—he yearned for a greater purpose. Kenja longed to utilize his magic to impact others, to bring about positive change in the world. He believed that true strength lay not only in personal prowess but also in the ability to inspire and protect those around him. As a Ravencrest it was his duty to do that as they were better than others. One might call it pride, but he called it logical and practical.
He imagined himself using his Pure Aura magic to create a shield of impenetrable magical light around his allies, granting them temporary invulnerability in the face of danger. He envisioned himself utilizing his mana manipulation to infuse his companions' weapons with an extra surge of power, enabling them to strike down their foes with incredible force. Yet, as he looked at his grimoire, he felt as if it was telling him no. That wasn't what it was about. With the determination burning in his chest, Kenja rose from his resting spot in the training grounds. He embarked on a new phase of his magical development. He would seek out mentors, delve into ancient tomes, and challenge himself in countless battles to unlock the true potential of his Pure Aura magic. As a magic knight he was sure he could make that happen. There were countless seniors in the squad who could help him. Not just the golden dawn but also the Ravencrest family!
Magical Training Formation Tier: This upgrade can be purchased once and will set up a training space on the estate grounds. Members of the family can train 1 thread per month at 50% the word count and two threads a month at 25% the word count. This reduction will also count towards others within the thread in question, even if they are not the estate holder (as long as the owner of the estate is within the thread). This cannot be stacked with perks that decrease word count. If you have gained a reduction from your estate or someone else’s, you can not gain additional reductions elsewhere.
For example, Player A and B both have estates, and they use the magical training formation on player B’s estate for 50% reduction of word count. They cannot go to player A’s estate and do the same.
It has been a good week or so since her return from Lilith. The time was a trying one for sure. The Heiress was shaken to her core and seen such things that she never thought was possible within the kingdom she called home, She seen things within herself that she never wanted to visit or remember. She was optimistic when she left, She had a duty as a coral peacock, She was a healer and her job was to help defeat the witch queen and bring everyone home. She came out as an even more shaken heiress but not one of the coral peacocks, She was now of the golden dawn. She proved her worth to Captain Blake, and even though their first impressions were rocky, even horrible at best. It was still something to reach an agreement and understanding as well as getting a request to join the golden dawn.
[break] [break]
The past week had been hell trying to adjust back to her old schedule. She been given time to relax and adjust. She gladly took this time on the estate.
[break] [break]
Breath in, Breath out. Thought the heiress sitting in the middle of her room. She was going crazy being stuck in her room for the past few days even if it was her own choosing. She didn't like what she was to deal with outside but she needed to get her mental fortitude back. This was the Ravencrest Estate, Her Home, Her sanctuary. The place where her Cousin, the head of the family Hania was, Where Jianyu and all the Servants were, where her beloved Manabeast Leone was with his pride of ducks. There was nothing on this estate that was going to cause harm to her. This was her home. Thoughts and paranoia did not belong here. She tended to always start her day at five, getting a slow upstart of a meditation for a good two hours. From 7 to about 7:30, it was time to bath and get dressed with the assistance of the servants. From about 7:30 and on was the start of her determined mental fight of getting out of her room.
[break] [break]
She opened the door to her room as she stepped out in a simple baby purple and white hanfu underneath her golden dawn mantle. While she might be on mandatory rest, she was going to break in her mantle and get use to it. She never thought of ever switching squads as the coral peacocks was her first home away from home. They accepted her and assisted in her growth. It was Hinota and the loss of her former flame that had apparently decided to go off the deep end while she was away saving the kingdom. She was still baffled at how much of a tantrum, one had to throw over a small title like heir. Her cousin wanted to be rid of his title of heir when one was fit to take it. It did seem once she was done playing house with the stray cat that she would finally be able to relieve him of the title. Though she still didn't feel much change other then more tutoring and having to play catch up, full well knowing Hania was still taking on more of the responsibilities that she was suppose to be doing. She loved him to pieces, even more then she could ever say or show. But even she found it saddening he still took on so much without allowing her to help. Then again, she didn't get much time to spend with him as he still had a lot on his plate and a lot of recovery on his own end. Her worries was the last thing he need
[break] [break] -------------------------------------------------------------- [break] [break] She moved through the halls soon being accompanied by Jianyu doing his usual checking in on her. It did seem since returning from Lilith, his services as her Bodyguard, butler, escort was no longer needed as much as there was another that would soon be taking his place while he was going to return to serving her cousin as was intended the entire time. But until that time was to come, he was still there for her. [break] [break] She stopped at a window overlooking the training platform in thought. " There is a face I haven't seen in ages. " She spoke to herself in surprise moving even quicker down the hall and out to the platform. " Oh if it isn't Little cousin Kenja." She called over towards him her snow white hair in a up done bun held with pin, her face holding a soft smile as her even softer pastel blue eyes watched him in their gentle optimistic glow. "You have grown so much. "She spoke moving closer to him. The once scar shown left eye no longer held a deep scar that she refused to heal and move on from. She had truly grown so much as a person, as a magic knight, as a Ravencrest. She was more ground and set strong in her ways and knowing her place and duties to both her family and the kingdom she loved and fought for every breath.

Kenja wiped the sweat off his brow as he took a break from his intense magic training. He found a shady spot under a towering oak tree and sat down, gazing out at the sprawling landscape of his family estate. It had been a few years since he had last set foot here, and now he returned as a skilled but fledgling magic knight, honing his abilities in the prestigious Golden Dawn squad. As he reached for his water bottle, his eyes fell upon a figure approaching him. A familiar face emerged from the distance, and his heart skipped a beat. It was his older cousin, Amaya. She wore a simple, elegant baby purple and white hanfu beneath her golden dawn mantle, a striking combination that showcased her grace and power. The last time Kenja had seen Amaya, she had been a member of the Coral Peacocks, another renowned magical squad. The sight of her in the colors of the Golden Dawn came as a surprise, as he had never heard of someone switching squads. Nonetheless, he couldn't help but feel delighted to see her again. [break][break] "Amaya!" Kenja called out, a bright smile lighting up his face. "It's been ages! I can't believe you're here." Kenja rarely showed emotions but when it came to certain family members that seemed to change. [break][break] He gestured to the grassy area beside him, patting the spot invitingly. Kenja couldn't help but admire Amaya's presence. She had always been his role model, not only because she was older but because of her exceptional power and experience. He wondered what it would be like to possess the same level of skill and command. [break][break] "You look amazing, Amaya," Kenja commented, his gaze filled with admiration. "And you've become even more powerful. I aspire to be as skilled as you when I reach your age."
Amaya watched him hearing the words she had expected of him. She hadn't seen him since they were younger. Last she saw him she was still a coral peacock, even know she felt odd in these different colors. It took a lot of acceptance to allow herself to flower into who she was today. She went through a lot of meditation, understanding, and training with the two mentors she cherished the most. one being the golden dawn member herself Hinota Yuiee and her most current suitor Sol Shinryu. One her greatest asset of finding her magic and the other a great asset of being able to train her weaponry . She made her way over towards him as Jianyu moved a bit ahead , pulling out a blanket on to the spot. She stopped watching the tree as she closed her eyes taking in a deep breath to calm herself. It was just a tree, no harm no killer intent. She opened her eyes moving forward once more to the blanket as she adjusted her skirt, while lowering herself on to the blanket, fanning her skirt around herself, resting on her knees. while her hands rested in her lap. She kept calm and relaxed even if her guard remained up without need. Maybe it was a old habit forming but dealing with daemons tend to change a sheltered heiress like herself
[break] [break]
Jianyu followed along moving ahead of Amaya as he sat down a blanket for her to sit on as Amaya lowered herself on her knees watching him. "It really have been awhile Kenja. I hope the magic knights have been treating you well along with life." She replied sweetly. " So tell me cousin, what have you been up to since I last saw you. I wish I had known you gotten into the magic knights as I would have loved to get you something as a gift to welcome you amongst us." She said looking up in thought placing her index of her left hand against her chin in thought "So what brings you to our home estate today?" she asked

Kenja sat at a short distance now, observing his striking cousin Amaya as she gracefully settled herself on a blanket, her dress fanned out around her in a display of pure elegance and etiquette. She possessed a natural beauty that captured the attention of all who laid eyes on her, and Kenja was no exception. Amaya was accompanied by a man Kenja hadn't really met before, and he found himself curious about this stranger's role. Was he a guard, a companion, or something else entirely? Kenja decided it was time to introduce himself and uncover the answer to this puzzle. With confident steps he stood up a moment to bow before sitting back down. "Good day," Kenja greeted with a respectful bow. "I don't believe we have had the pleasure of meeting. My name is Kenja Ravencrest."
[break][break]
After introducing himself he'd go back to speaking with his cousin. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "I returned to focus on my training, particularly to develop my sensory skills in magic. I've been practicing diligently to build up my abilities." Kenja's pride swelled as he shared his recent accomplishments. "Apart from the usual noble responsibilities, I'm happy to say that I've been accepted into the esteemed Golden Dawn. My goal is to become a great wizard, perhaps even the best in my chosen field of magic. It has been a fulfilling journey so far, and I'm excited to see where it leads me."
[break][break]
Thinking a moment he wondered about her as well. "What about you? What you brings you back and I have to ask, what happened that caused you to change squads. I didn't even know that was a thing."
The man nodded bowing in response to Kenja " I am not surprise you don't recognize me Lord Kenja, I'm Jianyu, I have been taking care of Amaya and Hania for 12 years. Well more Amaya then Hania but neither the less I tend to both. I am a fellow crimson lion as well." He spoke
[break] [break] "Speaking of Lions, Where is Leone and his family? I would have figured to see him at some point since returning." She asked
"Oh he has taken up patrolling the walls of our estate. His small family of ducks tend to follow along, at this time he would be around the front of the estate , most likely sitting near the gate watching as he does." He spoke " I am sure he will catch your scent back on estate and come to visit. He has grown quiet a bit since you been gone. "He said
[break] [break] "I am glad he is holding up well, I have no doubt about him catching my scent, he has always been good at keeping track of me."She spoke before turning back toward Kenja as she smiled " I see. I am great with sensory just as hania is, if anyone can help further your training, it would be our cousin for sure. I am happy you became of the golden dawn as it is a great squad to join as our other cousins of Joseph and Yursir are also in it."She said with a smile before tilting her head " Coming back here? I live on this estate with Leone, Hania, Jianyu and the servants. My family's estate has long since been burn down for 12 years. I have lived here since I just turned 6" She said sweetly " Jianyu is technically Hania's bodyguard, but when our cousin went to war at the age of 15, he ordered Jianyu to just take care of me."She said "and that he has done his job very well." She said
[break] [break] "Why of course, cause what kind of caretaker would I be to not fulfill the duties bestowed on to me." He spoke humbly as he did take pride in his job, it was fulfilling and always exciting.

This was his friend time heading to the estate. Joseph had made it clear since first contact and letter that he didn't have interest in wealth, only family. Somehow he ended up with both. The idea of going from lower noble to royalty was still strange, especially since the Sheingxiao never made him feel welcomed. The sensation of meeting his Ravencrest family was different, because he got to see them after finding out. They actually cared about the familial connection, not say they did and ignore him. Before than, not being a commoner hadn't felt real. Since than the magic his mother cast on him after birth to hide her shame and his fathers blood had been broken, the majority of his old adoptive family was arrested, and his adoptive father was getting their needed care. They sacrificed so much to keep Joseph safe, so being able to have this for him had made the red head feel a bit less upset over there being a lot of money in his life now. It wasn't a bad thing now, not really. They still didn't want to spend a lot, but baby steps forward but at least he was facing things. It was harder to do that, because it meant his mind was slowly leaking memories back. Every time he thinks there might be a good memory of the past, the present reality taints it in a dark hue.
Memories of his adoptive father colors darker just how far his mind had fallen and the ones of him killing people to save Josephs life. Even knowing that was what really drove their father mad was far worse than what he had been lead to believe. Those sort of memories and discoveries are what lead him to know what was up when he got a glance at one of the new Golden Dawn members. The existence of a younger brother wasn't that shocking, but it didn't mean he could just walk over to them unprompted. They probably wanted answers, which isn't good to just hand over in any random location. This was data that needed to be treated with care in order to not cause chaos, nor to put either of them in danger. Did the group know about Yursir? If it even still existed. Maybe they had moved on from trying to claim their promised prize of the pale pink eyed person. Fintan, a name that meant little fair one and white fire. His magic was a white fire, so it made sense. Along with the man was Rizpaw, the tiny deer leading the way with a calm and confident look about her. She was probably why he got the courage to write Yursir asking him to come to the estates training area for a conversation, that they needed to talk, that he had things he needed to tell them.
It would nice to know more than a name, family, magic knight squad, element, and looks of their father. It sounded like a lot on the outside, but it didn't tell what the person accomplished, how they acted, or who they were close to. The good and bad habits they may or may not have had were also likely lost to time, where all positive things about his mother Yalin were easy to discover. It was almost frustrating that she was the one he got to know, the bad one that was good at hiding her darkness from so many people. Part of him wished she had been caught in life, rather than deeds unearthed long after she had passed on. He didn't expect to be let into the estate before he could even say a word, nor for one of the guards to comment a likeness to Fintan in appearance, nor another to say he was missing the confidence. The tall man knew he didn't look or feel confident at the moment, but hadn't expected anyone to say anything. He wanted to ask what Fintan was confident about, but quietly walked inside with a mind that felt like it was swimming. ~How did I learn more about him under a minute of being here than any digging I've done?~ These words were signed to himself, feeling lost as he walked about the estate. Everything was overwhelmingly large and luxurious.
It almost didn't feel like an actual location. He tried asking a servant where the training grounds were and she did tell him where it was, but she also commented how she was sure Fintan and Sorans spirits must have been happy to see him visit. He wanted to ask, but instead he quickly moved along towards the training grounds instead, thanking her for the directions. It was in getting there that he say Amaya and who looked like a stranger. He wanted to say something, but instead sat down quietly. ~Maybe it was a bad idea to write Yursir and ask him to meet me here. This is my first time coming here. Its my first time hearing people compare me to Fintan, Who's even Soran? I should have made sure there were no surprises first. My mind is everywhere.~

Kenja sat next to his cousin, deep in thought, contemplating the information Amaya had just given him. They had met after years of separation, and now memories flooded back into his mind, including the identity of Amaya's butler and bodyguard. It was all coming back to him now. She was accompanied a formidable warrior and a skilled magic knight of the Crimson Lions. From what Kenja recalled, the Crimson Lions were a military squad led by powerful fire mages who valued personal strength, teamwork, and camaraderie among their fellow brothers and sisters in arms. They are the first squad that comes to mind when the words “The most powerful” are spoken and are the frontline of Clover’s Army. They also often serve as guards to the infamous Balgon Prison, where the kingdom's worst criminals are held. However, Kenja would know that power is subjective and it was just more their reputation that gave them that title. Kenja could argue that the Golden Dawn were the most powerful, especially since so many of his own family were in the squad now. After all, there was a reason the Golden Dawn were known to the the epitome of heroic and perfection. [break][break] Amaya herself had an impressive background. She had been a magic knight for quite some time, honing her skills and gaining valuable experience. Kenja couldn't help but admire her expertise, especially in the realm of magic sensory abilities. It was evident that she had developed her skills to a high degree, allowing her to perceive and understand magic in ways others couldn't. The fact she was willing to help him out was touching to him and much valued. Feeling a desire to improve his own magic sensory abilities, Kenja turned to Amaya, seeking her guidance. He respected her opinion and believed she could offer valuable insights. With a determined expression, he asked, "Amaya, you have a wealth of experience in magic sensory. I would greatly appreciate any tips or advice you could give me to enhance my own abilities. How can I improve?"
[break][break] Just as their conversation was starting and he had asked for her advice, Kenja's attention was drawn to someone approaching the training grounds. The newcomer was a towering figure, standing almost seven feet tall. He had long braided hair, reaching down to his knees, with a unique peach-orange color. The man's pale, soft skin was a stark contrast, and it was difficult to discern his eyes as he neared. Curiosity piqued, Kenja turned to Amaya and asked, "Do you know who that is?" He gestured toward the approaching figure, his expression stoic but his eyes filled with intrigue. With a stoic expression but inquisitive eyes, Kenja greeted the newcomer, eager to unravel the mysteries that surrounded this enigmatic figure. He'd simply half raise a arm to do a half wave and gesture that there was more than enough room if he wanted to come join him and Amaya.
Amaya watched him as she smiled listening to his wording as she looked up in thought " Hm, best thing i can tell you is just meditate. that is what does it for me. When I am on this estate, I am at peace, one with my environment, all i have and love is protected within these walls. I am not judged by the servants or our head. All my needs and wants are tended and cared to within timely manners. If I am seeking guidance or information. I simply ask our cousin for his opinion. Mind it I have been slacking on such things but he has had a lot on his plate that he sees to." She spoke " I use to spend a lot of my day chasing around a vermillion heir, I kept my senses up along with my guard cause clover might be my home and a place that is safe in my mind, is not always true for those around myself being who we are as Ravencrest. "She said sweetly " To me, training myself to perceive the world around me, puts my mind at ease to the unknown as I am not the best at judgment of character since taiyo decided to behead igneous "She spoke gently.
[break] [break] She only meet igneous a few times and always had a pleasant interaction with him even if it was all for show, Amaya had no ill will towards the vermillion and what became of them. In fact, She was more uneased at what became of her first suitor and what went so wrong. While part of her will always think it might have been her fault. The better part of her knew that was never the case, everyone is a creation of their own actions. He could have became more and been great along side her. Now he was a rogue on the run. While she would do everything in her power to get him to return to clover and pay for his crimes. She knew she wasn't strong enough to fight him mentally, let alone even with all her growth, she wasn't sure she was strong enough to take him on physically without causing a lot of damage to herself and him as well as the environment around. Not to mention, that would cause more trouble and worry for hania and for her other half, Sol Shinryu. She felt she needed to right this wrong, but it was not a wrong she did. For now she was going to remain relaxing on her bedrest and allow her mind, soul, and body to rest and unite in harmony.
[break] [break] She turned to heard sound of grass getting stepped on as she saw it was joseph she held her hands up before signing back ~Hello cousin Joseph. I was not expecting to see you here today. ~She spoke happily before looking over at Kenja " Oh this is our cousin Joseph. He and our other cousin Yursir were just welcomed back into the family not too long along. There pasts are not for me to discuss as I only know their father is my father's brother." She spoke with a smile before signing once again
~ Dear cousin, rest your mind, Yursir will come and all will be well. I can provide what i know from what servants have told me along with Hania as Jianyu can also tell you what he knows if you ask~
[break] [break] She perked up some feeling a large gust of wind fly towards them accompanied by a roar as she smiled getting up " Here comes Leone. "She spoke happily seeing her Manabeast of a guardian race towards them, slowing down once he got to them. He was no longer a cub she knew when she left the estate to fight the witch queen, He had a mane and grew to the length and height of a full adult lion with his wings grown just as wind. She watched him get up on his hind legs, pouncing on her in a loving manner.
[break] [break] Amaya gasp with a laugh allowing him to knock her backwards " Down Leone! Come on I wasn't gone that long I promised I was going to come back. "She stated with a smile feeling his tounge lick her cheeck as she hugged him " You have gotten so big! No longer my tiny cub of a guardian!" She teased the beast hearing the quacks of 12 ducks, 2 adults and ten ducklings following about the mana beast "Aw your family is still here and growing. I am so proud of you." She said happily as she managed to get out from under Leone, allowing him to comfortably cover her lap as he watched the two men around her before looking up in concern.
[break] [break] "No don't give me that face. These are cousins, My family, that is Kenja and that is joseph. Sol is still the only one I am with." She stated knowing exactly what he was assuming [break] [break]

It seemed as though ever since his first meeting with his cousin Amaya at the Flower Blossom Fete, subsequently following after the discovery of his royal heritage, that the course of Yursir's life had taken a new direction altogether. They had only made brief contact, but he would now receive regular envoys courtesy of her to check up on his needs. Despite the fact that they were in fact family, it still felt a tad bit much considering he was still effectively a stranger. As such he would always simply tell the envoys that he would send for them when needed. Though today would be slightly different when a more elderly servant of the Ravencrest estate arrived at his door step in the Golden Dawn Headquarters to deliver him a message with merely a greeting, stating that his brother had sent word for him, before bowing and silently leaving the Elven prince to his own devices once more.
He looked over the letter anxiously. Amaya was the first to bring it to his attention that he even had an older brother. He had wondered about it ever since, but the concept of meeting was something that came with a sense of nervous excitement. Though he did find it strange that despite knowing who it was that sent the letter that it didn't have a sender listed.
"How odd," Yursir mumbled to himself as he opened the letter to see the message that Joseph Ravencrest had left him.
Meet me at the estate. We need to talk.
He could feel the butterflies in his stomach immediately. He was formally being invited to the estate to meet his older brother for the first time. He immediately would dawn his finest attire, choosing to dress in an all white threaded silk draped with gold and silver forming hexagonal patterns across the lining before adorning his head with a band decorated with sapphire and amethyst. He didn't dare dawdle as he immediately called to be escorted there post taste.
-Hours Later-
As soon as he exited the carriage, Yursir found himself standing face to face with a line of servants, more than he had ever seen before, and a towering gate separating the outside world from the manner of one of the Clover Kingdom's most powerful families.
"Welcome home Master!" They seemed to all state in perfect unison.
The feeling was greatly overwhelming for the young lad. He had to discreetly pinch his side to coax himself back to the reality that this was really occurring as he saw it.
Don't dawdle. Don't hesitate. STEP FORWARD!
He did his best to take on a face of indifference as he acknowledged the line of servants as he strutted powerfully between them in his natural stride. He wanted to make a strong first impression befitting one of a true royal. And it seemed to work as one servant could be heard complimenting his apparent stoicism. Another could be heard mentioning how striking a resemblance he had to his father. However he appeared a tad thrown off when he came to find the group already gathered together after being directed by a young maid to the training grounds.
And it is here where Yursir finds his eyes glancing onto Joseph's visage for the very first time, being taken aback as he cautiously approaches everyone.

“Amaya, you're making it sound like we met today.” Joseph spoke with a slight deadpan tone. Sure they hadn't known each other for years, but they had been passed the met recently stage a long time back. The stranger was likely family, but it was still a stranger to him at the moment. Until the young man knew he could trust the blond haired blue eyed boy, certain things certainly couldn't be spoken of. As for the rest of the information? He answered in sign language, as she had responded in kind. ~Picking today would be akin to pushing a book over after I slam someone with a hammer. I'm positive Hania read the reports and things I sent at the beginning, but I don't know if you read the reports I sent him. Besides that case, there is more information since then. So long as I keep mentally well, more memories are just going to happen. I have to tell Yursir everything I know.~ He didn't get up, even when Leone arrived. It was easy enough to take the warm sight in from this sitting position. The ducklings and ducks following a mana beast wasn't an every day occurrence, yet there it was. Watching the creature cover her entire lap like a thick large wild cat drape was interesting. ~Isn't he heavy?~ This was signed to himself more than anything else.
“I don't blame their concern after Taiyo. Those with controlling personalities tend to assume they have full control of everything, only acting when they think they have lost that control. It can seem like they are giving you freedom to act, but only when you don't notice the bars they put up. His bars were indirect, his tantrum after your break up and him going rogue is him being incapable of admitting he can't always be in control or have his way.” He would typically worry about psychoanalyzing someone, but this was an ex gone rogue that murdered their own father. “At least Sol is a good man.” That person didn't cause the read head to worry about his cousin, because it was one of the people he faced deamons with, along with a wendigo later on. There was a certain amount of trust one puts in a person when trusting each others lives in members of a group. Sol would never give Amaya or Leone a reason to not trust them, he was sure of that. Everything would be fine there. It would be good to have no reason to be too concerned. Safety was important, especially for your loved ones. Danger couldn't be avoided as a magic knight, but at the least one can avoid danger that doesn't need to exist in your life. Of course now was the time that Yursir arrived. A bit of panic that had been building up left.
Life was strange, but at least he could try to meet what he could face to face. The pale pink eyed person stood back up than brushed himself off a bit. Rizpaws tail wiggled a bit, “Hello there Yursir, I'm your older brothers spirit partner. My name is Rizpaw and I only choose people of quality. I'm a woman that only accepts the highest quality of person.” Josephs eyed widened a bit. He should have accepted the little old lady to say that, but still. ~Please stop saying that!~ Though the words were signed, it was done so quickly and with sharp movements, almost like he was speaking in a raised tone at the cat sized spirit. “No.” Rizpaw was as blunt as ever, her eyes giving the tall man a stare. He knew that look, it meant 'you can't tell me what to do'. He couldn't, it would be rude to try to force her to do anything. Her blunt and forward personality that brimmed with old woman confidence was hard for him to handle. But he supposed it was time to introduce himself. The man put his pale peachy warm colored hands against the ground briefly before pushing against it to stand up. “You got the hair color from father, but its straight like mothers. The warm amber eyes are nice, without fathers blood they would be black. I'm glad that my god mother managed to get you somewhere safe where nobody would know you existed.”
This may have seemed like a lot of information in a short amount of time, but this as barely a scratch on the surface. “I'm happy you were born without any horrible health issues. My names Joseph but I think you already know that. Sorry for the health assessment. My mind only really records sounds from my memories so verbal thoughts tend to come physically.”

[attr="class","naxscroll"] Kenja sat on the training grounds alongside Amaya, his fellow magic knight and older cousin and Yusir who he waved too but was seemlying ignored. They were enjoying a quiet afternoon, basking in the warmth of the sun. As they chatted about their recent things, a sudden commotion caught his attention. A giant winged lion gracefully descended from the sky, trailed by a flock of quacking ducks. Amaya's face lit up with joy as she recognized the majestic creature to Kenja's eyes. Leone was his name. Kenja, on the other hand, remained seated, eyeing the lion warily. Kenja had heard of Leone before but had never interacted with him. He had never made it a point to approach the mana beast, nor had the lion shown any interest in him. Leone was beholden to the clan head and Amaya and in Kenja's mind he was nothing more than a mere hindrance. [break][break] What compounded Kenja's apprehension was his general dislike for cats of any kind. He preferred the company of antelopes, deer, and other similar creatures. He also loved dragons but from what he heard they were the most powerful of creatures and had never seen one. Kenja would note that when you cross a dragon and a deer you get a Qilin, or a kirin...he had heard them reffered to by both names and his dream was to find one in the future, even befriend it. However, his attention was soon drawn to the arrival of one more individuals—Joseph. [break][break] As Kenja observed, he noticed a second cat among the group, and both of his cousins seemed to be ignoring it but he couldn't tell if it was on purpose or accident since he was near Amaya and a winged lion. Kenja took stock of the situation and couldn't help but feel like the baby among giants. He recognized that he was the weakest one there, having only recently become a magic knight. However, his intuition whispered that he wasn't far behind Yusir, and a part of him sensed that they would make a formidable compitition. [break][break] With a straight face, Kenja made a decision. He crossed his legs, sat up straight, and simply started listening and observing. If he was going to be ignored, then he would use this opportunity to practice his sensory skills. As the others engaged in conversation, Kenja honed his focus. He closed his eyes and let his other senses take over. He concentrated on the rustling leaves, the birds chirping in the distance, and the soft hum of mana in the air. He discerned the slightest shifts in energy, using his newfound abilities to heighten his perception. [break][break] The conversation between Yusir, Joseph, Amaya, and even Leone continued, but Kenja remained in his own world. He absorbed every detail, memorizing the nuances of their voices, the cadence of their speech, and the subtle variations in their magical signatures. His senses became attuned to the environment around him, as if a whole new realm of information had opened up. As time passed, Kenja's awareness grew, and he felt a newfound connection with the world around him. He realized that his strength didn't solely depend on physical power or magical prowess. His ability to understand and interpret the subtleties of his surroundings could give him an edge. However, he was a long ways to go to be applying this in combat or even to those hiding thier mana.

"there is a reason for why joseph. We do not hang out as much as we should due to our positions."she said with a smile looking at all the interactions feeling leone's mane watching. Yursir registered the words and actions of all those around him, but ultimately all his senses were now unanimously focused upon the man who stood before him now. His brother, his blood, was now finally in front of him in the flesh and acknowledging him. The young elven prince was so incredibly overwhelmed with just the mere concept of the situation that he could barely comprehend that their conversation was actually real. Was this really happening? Was this really real, or had he, in his state of longing since discovering his roots began to hallucinate it all?
Before he could even realize it his body was moving forward of its own accord, slowly at first as if in a trance, before lunging forward to wrap his arms around the imposing body of Joseph in a hug before burying his face into his chest almost instinctively with a singular tear forming in his eye that he made no real attempt to hide. Much to the awe of the servants in attendance who took in the scene with a deep respect at the moment they were witnessing before them.
The brothers that had been separated from their roots, led two different lives, and in two different places, had now finally found one another.

In the midst of his sensory training, Kenja's mind drifted towards the concept of mana and magic. Mana was the lifeblood of every mage, the wellspring of their power. It existed as an energy that permeated the environment and flowed within every living being. Kenja understood that tapping into this well of mana was crucial for casting spells and performing magical feats. Reflecting on his knowledge, Kenja recognized that every individual possessed the capacity to use magic to some extent. It was a common understanding that mana was inherently present within everyone, connecting them to the world of magic. However, the degree to which one could harness this power varied greatly.
[break][break]
Kenja was aware of individuals born with a strong affinity for mana, gifted with exceptional magic power. They were often referred to as being "loved by mana" because their connection to the energy was particularly potent. These individuals had a natural aptitude for magic and could tap into its vast potential with relative ease. Conversely, Kenja knew that there were rare occurrences where individuals lacked any trace of mana, rendering them unable to use magic at all. These people were said to be "hated by mana" due to the absence of this vital energy. While such cases were incredibly uncommon, they served as a reminder that not everyone was destined to wield magic.
[break][break]
In the midst of his contemplation, Kenja's attention returned to the training grounds. He kept closed his eyes and engaged in image training, a technique he had been practicing. In his mind, he envisioned the flow of mana, picturing it as a vibrant river coursing through the world around him. He imagined himself standing at the edge of this river, his senses attuned to its subtle currents. As he focused, he sought to visualize the connection between mana and magic. He understood that mana was the source from which magic spells were born. It was a well of energy that could be tapped into, channeled, and shaped by skilled mages. Magic, in essence, was the manifestation of this harnessed mana, wielded through incantations, gestures, and the sheer force of will.
[break][break]
Kenja marveled at the intricacies of the magical world, the delicate balance between mana and those who wielded it. He realized that while he might not possess the same level of innate magical talent as some of his companions, he could still grow and develop his abilities through discipline, training, and a deep understanding of the underlying principles. Take the wizard king for example. He wasn't some four leaf clover "loved by mana" person; he reached his position by the same means of discipline, training and perseverance.
[break][break]
With this newfound appreciation for the interplay between mana and magic, Kenja continued his sensory training, honing his skills with diligence and determination. He knew that his path to mastery might be different from others, but he was committed to unlocking his own potential and proving that even those who felt like the weakest among giants could rise to greatness.
