Joseph typically didn't go through the streets of the capital unless it was related to magic knight duties, despite their guild headquarters being there. The man often had meals at and slept in Yugos home. This was an important day for him, so days before the individual had been crafting and polishing various shapes of bone beads, different bone hooks for fishing, and bone buttons. They had also been weaving giant spiders silk he had collected from monsters in the forest, as leaving it as a spool of gathered material wasn't as good for showing it was a quality product as one bolt of fabric wrapped on a roll shape was. Eariler that they they had also popped over after foraging through some wild forests. Being able to use spells to get around was very useful! It made gathering fresh ingredients a fast and easy task, though only because he was also very experienced at such things and with that forest. That lead up to what made him nervous, going to visit Sumires familys store this very day. There was a stop at the golden dawn base first to make sure there wasn't any suprise work or missions. Maybe part of him wanted that to be the case? He wanted to befriend Sumire and learn about his mothers culture, but was the first time in a long time the man had reached out to anyone about something like this.
It was a bit nerve racking to think about for him. Maybe he would even buy them clothing at the store, but it wouldn't feel right to do that without learning anything at all. Despite heritage from his mother Yalin. The woman hadn't made any attempts to speak to him in a way that he understood before she had left. Even if he gained hearing while she had been around, that didn't magically grand him the ability to instant understand the spoken tongue. Safe to say, the young man was fully engrossed in clovers general culture and clothing styles. Their adoptive father was a good person and Clover is their home country so it made sense, but there was still a need to learn about their mothers culture. Not learning about it felt a bit like letting Yalins personality get in the way in learning about what made half of them. He didn't want to let that happen anymore. How could one say they stopped running away if they couldn't confront this much? One half from each parent, right? No matter how you feel about that person, part of you comes from them. The peachy orange haired person was done with pretending his mother never existed, which seemed to be all he did after remembering enough of her. It was a bit ironic, since they had been so 'curious' before those memories.
Finding her family had hurt as well, or rather that family finding him. She really had just thought of him as a tool, but holding onto those negative feelings wouldn't help in any way with moving forward. He was currently wearing an ivory white dress up shirt with wooden buttons at the cuffs of the shirt, their magic knight mantel, brown pants, and brown shoes. On his back was a bag with a few separate compartments in it. One had leathers, dyes, bone beads, bone hooks, bone buttons, a large spool of spider silk in it, as well as one bolt of fabric rolled up. These were goods for trade that was always useful if you wanted to get certain goods for lower prices. The other large compartment had wild vegetables and certain heavier spices. The last compartment had herbs and fruit inside, a perfect spot for the delicate items he carried in the bag. His hair was braided up, glasses firmly on his face. Lately he had been feeling less and less like he should be wearing them and more like he shouldn't let himself fear being noticed every day. It was settling in firmer that they were a royal and didn't need to hide their confidence, nor fear being recognized. Well, no, he still feared being known too widely. If it was figured out who his mother was on a wider scale than life would become more difficult.
~I hope that I don't come off as pushy or forward. Maybe I should say something so she knows I'm not chasing her?~ These words were signed out as a frown formed on their face, worry starting to form on their expression. That was the last thing he wanted to do. His brows furrowed a bit, their hands continuing to move to form words. ~ I do know the more talented a woman is, the more likely she will have men going after her.~ The golden dawn member let out a sigh before pausing their steps. A thought popped into his fingers that made the smile return to his face and steps start again. ~Yugo and I flirted infront of her, Enlil, and Taiyo so she will probably know that already.~ The man let the feeling of relief wash over them a bit. It was good to avoid feeling too anxious, scared, or nervous. Such feelings would always get in the way of clear thinking which would inhibit the ability to form a friendship and make trade deals. He may have been from a town that was very good at trade, but this was going against someone whos life was likely in trades. She would likely far surpass him in trade skills, so he needed to be in mental tip top shape.
The tall and thin man looked towards the building a bit, pausing their motions and walking before heading inside. As one might expect from a shop established in the capital, it was well sized inside. It seemed like to have more than just various clothes inside, but maybe that should have been expected. There was a large amount of things there, ~Maybe I wont be able to trade here.~ Joseph signed to himself, their corpse pale pink eyes landing on a certain blond individual. “Hello Sumire, I hope you don't mind that I came looking for you to chat and be friendly. I'm thinking of getting him or myself some new clothes, but I also don't want to bother you if you're busy. I wanted to learn more about your culture, it was also my mothers culture. I also have goods using materials from the forests of the Clover country, if that interests you.” He was scared and intimidated after walking inside, but refused to let that stop him.
