There were flowers of all sorts on the table, along with vases, ribbons, and other things for flower arrangements. Babies breath, carnations, roses, jasmine, orange blossoms, apple blossoms, cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, lilies, amaranth, lotus, and many more. To say there were more flowers than Josephs mind could fully register would not be an understatement. Each one had a different color, scent, shape, and often even a different number of petals. There were so many colors that one could craft a rainbow of colors if they so desired. This wasn't a skill of his, but participating in flower arrangements every year at the festivities was always a very calming thing for the man. It didn't matter how many others were there, because it was a large table anyway. “All the flowers are always so beautiful every year. It's always a bit hard to figure out where to start .” The carbon matter spirit shaped like a small deer poked his legs a bit with her nose. This caused the young man to look down towards her, which was when she spoke. “Why not start with your favorite color?”
His eyes went wide for a brief moment as their deathly pale corpse like pink eyes scanned around the many flowers at the table. A favorite color...?! “Ah.. Do I have one?” His breath hitched a bit, but words could still come out fine. A bit of panic started to travel though his eyes and face, like a deer caught in the headlights. It was one of those things he had never really considered, but now he was wondering why that even was. “What colors do I even like? I always normally just wear what will suit the situation.” This was not what the spirit had intended to cause, her ears pivoting around a bit in thought. Humans were strange, and hers was quality but also a bit extra unusual. This just made him more interesting to her. “Pick the first flower without thought, completely random. Build from there.” His expression returned to looking down towards the spirit. This body started to loosen up from its previous anxiety ridden state, their eyes softening back down. “It's okay to not know. Enjoy your time here.” Joseph smiled at her, reaching down and petting the ancient being before looking back to the table.
“Thank you Rizpaw for always helping me. I'm lucky to have you.”
“I'm lucky to have you as well.”
The spirit replied back, a little wiggle briefly going in her tail. A smile arose on the Ravencrests face before deciding to take a dive. The man closed his eyes and reached at the table. What did the random pick and up being? The only way was to open his eyes, so that was what they did. What did they see? It was a purple hibiscus flower. The petals were more reddish purple at the start and end, but was a blueish purple on most of the petals body. The stamen was a mix of white and yellow. “It's really beautiful.” He grabbed a few reddish purple morning glories to go with it, a smile increasing on those lips. “That's right, I can do this alright. Even if I'm not an expert, I think this will turn out okay.” The next flower he grabbed was a few purple and yellow dahlias. It was the first bouquet he had worked on yet that didn't resemble a bundle of medicine in any way. There was a color of petunia that was very eye catching, it resembled hot pink or magenta. For some reason all of them looked nice together, to him at least.
Now, did he tie them in ribbon, wrap them in a paper, or put them in a vase? He had found himself wondering what to do next all over again. It was something he would figure out, but for now? Panic had started to creep back in a little. On this day he was wearing an ivory white shirt with pastel yellow buttons and plain tan colored pants with a brown belt. It was slightly different than his normal clothing, but nothing fancy that stood out.
