Today was just like any other day to one red haired vermillion within the vermillion family on the vermillion estate. on the second floor, curtains were tossed open and lights were light ablaze. Ostanda groaned hiding under her blankets for a few minutes before sitting up knowing her three servants were here to get her up come hell or high water. Her routine was getting up at 5:30 in the morning to get dressed in just a tunic and pants. From 5:45 to 6:30 Train or run, whichever was a feeling for the morning. 6:30 to 7, allow the servants to actually attempt to get her bath routine correct and the temperature actually right. 7 to 7:15, grab some breakfast then out the door while getting told the daily schedule. She hated that part of the day most. Then again, she hated a lot of the day ever since her family came in power of the vermillion. The previous head was seen unfit and not worthy for the spot so it was decided that her father was a much more fit. [BReAK][BReAK] That meant the bird was once more restricted on her wants. Ostanda sighed grabbing a broom taking a step on to it as she lifted off the ground before hearing a deep toned voice clear as she turned her head to see it was her father. [BReAK] "Yes Lord Ari. Was there something I can help you with?" She asked as her amethyst eyes watched him. [BReAK] "Are you heading to Crimson Lions HQ." He asked[BReAK] "Yes that was what was on my schedule for the next few days. I already seen all that is coming." She spoke[BReAK] "Well It seems your voice captain has decided you had a different obligation today." He spoke removing a hand from behind his back as Ostanda accepted the letter opening it to read the letter.[BReAK] "Seems I am being sent to lead a group of chosen magic knights through a dungeon that has recently appeared." She said in annoyed acknowledgement, handing the letter back to him. "I better get there and await them." She stated lifting a bit off the ground before allowing her broom to soar into the air, she standing on top of it. She pulled her hood over her head as her bangs moved over her left eye. She allowed the vermillion signature smile to play on her face. She was Truly excited to have been selected for such a mission along with recruits, This meant more fun for her. She felt the twin blades sway in the current of the wind as she soared to the dungeon. [BReAK][BReAK] She reached the entrance as she lowered herself sitting down the broom against a tree before she leaned against the same tree lowering her head as she closed her eyes folding her arms. now was the waiting game of the two magic knights she knew would be coming.

[attr="class","leoscroll2"] [break][break] TL;DR: [break][break] Sword of the Fallen Hero
Once a sword owned by the Coral Peacocks Captain; Silas Vermillion, this sword has a rich history of courage and war. Using it for quite some time during his Magic Knight career, this sword had grown in strength significantly, but it had never been a relic. During the former Captain's death and the Shatter itself, some of his soul remained in the sword. Being locked away in Ardere Kasai's office for months, it had been neglected. it had once been passed down to Lydia, who had formed a bond with it more powerful than its predecessor. It had served the former vice-captain of the Crimson Lions well that was until her disappearance. To this day no one knows what fate befell the once noble warrioress, with the sword having been found in the temporal grand mana zone without its owner beside it the worst was believed to have happened. The blade was again broken when it was found and was reforged into the current form it has.
These twin blades are seemingly made out of molten metal and lava and so give a vibrant glow that can cause first-degree burns even to the owner if they are not careful. The hilts are around 20cm long while the blades themselves are double-bladed and around 38cm in length. The blades themselves seem to be semi-ornate at the hilt till around halfway down the sword where the molten lava and metal can be plainly seen. It is almost as if the blade has had enough of being broken and reforged and so protecting itself from that eventuality from happening once more.
Type & Uses: Flow ¦ 3 Rounds active ¦ 2 rounds cooldown
Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Transformation (Transfiguration ¦ Temperature Changing ¦ Transportation)
Mana Cost: 8 | 4
Range & Speed: Self ¦ 10m/s
Stats Affected: --
Description:
Moving their hands into a steeple before pushing them together and rolling them to make a V shape is enough to activate this ability as a runic seal of golden orange appears allowing what appears to be molten feathers to pour forth and completely surround the wielder of the swords. Eventually, the feathers fall away leaving what appears to be a completely different person standing there. The wielder would now stand as a 5'9" slender woman with blonde hair in low-tied pigtails, and slightly glowing red menacing eyes that have bronze-coloured war paint markings underneath. She is found wearing black reinforced leather armour. The armour's pauldrons, helmet and boots all have black feathers that become blood red rear the end.
On her back is a set of black wings that become blood red at the bottom, these wings are functional allowing the owner to fly. In addition to this, it can allow the wielder to keep themselves warm against the cold. The wielder can choose to transport one other person while they are transformed but they will only be able to travel at 5m/s in this instance. To see through this illusion a person needs only 10 sensory which then breaks the transformation restoring the wielder's original appearance for that person.
The wielder clenches their fists turning them to where the fingers are turned towards them they place the right hand on top of the left before pulling their hands apart in a diagonal direction creating a spear of pure lava that is perfectly sized for the wielder with a tip that could be described as resembling that of a wasp's stinger. This spear can be used as a melee weapon or can be thrown in the direction of an enemy, regardless, of if it hits someone or not it will lose its shape and cause a 1m lava pool to be created. On a successful hit, a person will be dealt junior rank damage as well as being knocked back for 2m with an additional 5m being added for every 10 power the wielder has.
In addition to this, if a person finds themselves within the lava pools they will gain 1/2 junior rank damage. It doesn't matter if a person is directly hit or stands inside the lava pools (this includes the wielder), they will gain third-degree with a chance of gaining minor second-degree burns (the wielder will only gain these burns if they stand in the lava puddles). Additional spears can be created with the possibility of additional lava pools being formed, with the use of the ammo rules and can be handed off to allies if they so desire.
Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Attack Creation
Mana Cost: 8 per trigger ¦ 15 recharge
Range & Speed: 10m (AoE) ¦ 10 m/s
Stats Affected: +2 Power
Description:
Running the flat near the hilt of the right blade of the left causes a set of golden-orange runes to appear hovering over the flats of both blades showing that this ability is activated. If a person were to get close enough to the blades they would see the edges moving like molten lava running from a volcano, but this only places them in a semi-active mode allowing for third-degree and minor second-degree burns to be given during melee fighting. Thrusting the blade up causes a ten-meter golden-orange runic circle to form above the area as the ability fully activates releasing what one may believe at first to be scolding hot rain, this, in fact, are large lava drops around the size of a thumbnail. Those within the spell's range will be dealt Junior rank damage upon the lava drops landing on them burning clothing and leaving third-degree and minor second-degree burns on any flesh they touch.

It was another day, and so it was another boring set of hours at the Black Bulls base. Synthia sat at her bed, legs dangling in the air as she let her arm hang off the bed, letting out the third sigh in a row that morning as she spun around in her bed again, and let out a groan.
"Gahhhhh, I'm sooo booooooored~..."
She had been like this since morning as there was, yet again, nothing to do for her at the current moment... Bored per usual.
Then, like the literal grace of god, she'd gotten a summons from the Captain. Wasting no time she was down there as she was given a rundown on what was going on, and a number of other things that were to happen that day.
Synthia tilted her head, as she considered her orders once, then again, and then another time. Well no time like the present, eh? She quickly ran back to her room, throwing on a hodgepodge of whatever clothes she had in her wardrobe and haphazardly tossing her Mantle across her shoulders before she got up and started walking out of the room, and before long the Bulls HQ. This was it, finally her time to get up and move. And what better for her first true Mission in a sense than to literally toss herself headlong into a dungeon. It was about time, as she noted the location, the landmarks to pay attention to, and before long, where it was that everyone was meeting. She didn't know nor care who was assigned with her, nor what squad they were from. She just knew that, for all intents and purposes, this was finally her time and chance to shine, to push herself and throw everything to the wayside as she focused on pushing her limits.
Quicker than she could imagine she would've, a broom found itself in her hands as she jumped on and started off, riding the broom like a surfboard as she took off with an explosive amount of glee and determination in her eyes. Like a literal rocket in the sky, she took off bursting through the clouds as she let out a big cheer of blissful glee.
"Alright, let's go!"
And she was off, gleefully expecting whatever the hell was going to be waiting in that dungeon as before long she had touched down near where she needed to be...
She looked around, finding that, in typical fashion, she was one of the first ones there, as another girl with Red hair, who looked like she was a Vermillion, she totally was, wasn't she, anyways she looked at her and found that, she was the only one there besides herself. And so, Synthia would land, as she looked over to Ostanda and waved her hand with a cheeky smile.
"Heyaaa~! So you know who else is joining us?"
She waited to see what the Vermillion Girl was like, before excitedly looking at the Dungeon, as she felt a bursting bubbling sensation in her heart. Excitement was one way to put it, as she felt that passion and desire pushing forwards, ready for her to burst herself into that Dungeon and fight everything there down until her last breath. This was going to be a great start, and while she needed to stay alert, she also couldn't help but be curious...

Aura let out a soft yawn as she stretched, her eyes flicking back towards the parchment she had found that morning by her door. A mission, or rather a dive into a dungeon. She wasn't expecting this, not when she was still skittish around people, though she had found comfort among the Blue Rose. She let out a breath, noting that it was probably because she was more comfortable that they had decided it was time she started pulling her weight. That was fine, sitting around writing and reading wasn't going to be her life, she doubted her mother had wanted that for her.
She pushed herself to her feet, bouncing a few times to get herself moving "Welp, it's now or never." she said out loud more or less to herself. She made her way outside, collected a broom before taking off to the designated location.Once she arrived she landed gracefully and took a moment to lean the broom up against a tree, a sigh escaping her as she turned towards the other two, offering a small smile and a polite nod of her head, noting the difference in how each was acting. One seemed relaxed, the other hyperactive. The smaller girl she did recognize from the Fete which would make things a little interesting, but she at least already knew how she behaved for the most part.
"Good day. My name is Aura, I have a general focus in sensory and attack magic." She figured giving her specialties would help give everyone an idea of what they could do in a given situation. She would probably act more as a map maker for the small group, but it wasn't like she couldn't fight.

Post by Peter Hollenguard on Apr 23, 2024 4:10:27 GMT -5
Peter awoke with a start, nearly falling out of his far too large bed as the knocks on his door resonated throughout his room, cascading off the walls and nearly giving them a heart attack "Y-yes I'm awake!" He'd shout from his place on the floor, confident he was loud enough to stop further attempts at waking him he decided to drag himself up off the floor. As much as he wanted to just sleep the day away, the rather ominous feeling parchment that sat on his desk seemed to have other plans.
Reading it over his eyes widened at the words etched on its surface. Apparently instead of further perfecting his painting techniques like he wanted to, he was to go and participate in a dungeon! He had heard about these from his guardians before but now he was to go and participate himself. The thought of it provided Peter with a whirlwind of emotions, excitement, nervousness, fear, but above all else a distinct need to prove themselves to their guardians. With this he realized that they were starting to put more faith into him and he'd need to rise to the task, even if it went wrong from the looks of the invite there would be others there to help, with no real reason to decline he steeled his resolve, planning to go.
It took a while, especially with how much the staff at the manor kept fussing over him, but eventually he had made it to the meet up location! Upon arriving he couldn't help but feel somewhat intimidated, being the last one there didn't help, nor did the overwhelming sense of professionalism he felt from the three girls, he felt somewhat out of place being there but he did his best to push the feeling aside, introducing himself as he held the satchel strapped over him in comfort. "Hey there, I-I'm Peter, Peter Hollenguard, n-nice to meet you all!" They couldn't help but mentally kick themselves for each stutter but they soldiered on, now waiting in anticipation for whatever happened next
Ostanda rested against a tree she stood leaning against. Her hood kept over her head as her red bangs rested over one side of her face. It was then she heard a presence of a single girl coming down from a broom as she opened her single visible royal purple eye looking towards the small blue haired girl, bearing a black bull mantle. [break][break] Oh this was going to be interesting dealing with a black bull, enspecially a witch like herself. She sighed pushing herself off the tree with her foot, keeping her arms folded infront of her chest "Well while I might know who. I am sure you will enjoy the mystery." She spoke to Synthia before seeing a blue rose arriving next as the girl got straight to the point in ensuring Ostanda knew what specializations her spells had. She then saw a more timid male approach them. He didn't have a mantle. So He must be one of the many citizens that seem interested in dealing with dungeons, whether by choice or his family's choice. [break][break] "Alright I am assuming this is our team so I will make introductions short. I am Ostanda Nova Vermillion, but call me Ostanda, Don't add Lady or any of that title stuff as that is not important on the field of battle. What is important that we work as a team and cover each other's backs. I will be taking lead in this dungeon as it isn't my first rodeo. Not to mention that we will need to ensure the civilian of our group is kept safe as that is a duty of us magic knights. Not to mention he is safer going in with us then going in alone." She explained "It is nice to Meet your all and I hope we all have fun." She spoke picking her hood back turning towards the dungeon hearing the sounds of Flesh against flesh ringing from behind the large stone walls. She has done her research of this dungeon before as Dungeons have always been a interest to this magic knight. The abnormal mana creating living life forms in a constant loop of a ancient memory lost to time. Such an amazing thing the mana can do. [break][break] Floor 1 Room 1: [break][break] Beckoning them to follow she walked through the entrance of the grand entertainment behind the tall walls of the dungeon. She folded her arms behind her back as her duel blades clinked lightly on either side of her waist. Walking through the entrance, the entry way was a large area of dirt, barren with the only life being circles upon circles of various groups of fighters. Each showing a discipline and aura of honor and pride in their various matches, None seemed to notice them or wish to remove themselves from the on going fights. [break][break] Ostanda watched each and every fight, allowing her eyes to move rapidly from each and every fight, noting some of the styles, she knew from either her own personal knowledge, what she has trained in, and from those she knew off from stories or those she has fought before. Her cold eyes soften at a thought silently crossing her mind. She couldn't imagine just being a memory of a fight ages and ages ago, just doing the same fight over and over again. That was a very odd thing about this dungeon. Some of the beings were just there for background noise or entertainment, if she had to say. She sighed shaking the thought from her head as she moved forwards not making much notice for the beings in the area. " So while we seem to not have any of their notice, Is there anything you wish to speak of? Questions? Concerns?" She asked deciding to make some sort of small talk within this dungeon as she watched and waited to see any enemies that could possibly be showing themselves. She was Itching for a fight but for now she needed to keep calm and collected.

Synthia waited for a bit as the other Magic Knights came around and got acquainted with each other. Synthia watched as a blonde haired girl touched down and introduced herself. From the mantle on her brooch, she was a Blue Rose, and she introduced herself as Aura. Didn't she... know her? Synthia swore she saw her around somewhere before, couldn't place her tongue on when... then, after her a white haired boy fell into place, introducing himself as Peter who would go on to stutter a bit, earning a chuckle from Synthia as she came over and slapped him on the back with a light-hearted chuckle.
"Lighten up there, we're all Magic Knights, no need to be nervous, yeah?"
She nodded, introducing herself to them all as she gave off a casual wave from her head, and grinning all the way as her hair blew in the wind. Now she remembered where she'd seen that blonde haired girly, she was at that Flower Festival wasn't she? Huh, who knew they'd see each other here again.
"Anyways, name's Synthia! Black Bull and close combat enthusiast! Nice to meet you again Aura, right? Anyways, Let's do our best~!"
It seemed things were starting to pick up though, as the rest of them were pushed on and towards the dungeon in question as the Vermillion finally started getting them up to speed. Synthia would listen a bit more as the Vermillion Girl finally introduced them to their mission... Ostanda would request none of that noble crap after her name, and that they just cover each other's backs and keep the dungeon in mind. This wasn't easy, but that also meant that this was going to be hella fun. Synthia cracked her knuckles, following after Ostanda with a grin on her face.
"Well, let's not waste any time!"
It didn't take long for Synthia to follow after, hitting the dungeon's entrance with that same gleam and confidence, as Ostanda asked a few more questions... Synthia's eyes went to the figures around them, each with their own idea of martial prowess, and their own strengths and weaknesses. She took them all with shining eyes and fascination... this was her kind of Dungeon for sure. She could feel the burning passion and emotional turbulence with each fight, the will and honor, the pride and every ounce and drop of blood sweat and tears that went into every strike. She only half paid attention to Ostanda's questions as she listened... The sweet sound of combat, war and flames igniting around her... it was music to her ears.
She raised an eye at Ostanda, not having any questions, though still curious about all the stuff that was going on around them. What was their purpose? Were they there to push them onwards into the Dungeon? Where was their next way forwards? How far could she push herself, and more importantly, how far would she be able to keep going.
The fighters seemed entirely devoted to their own senses of combat, so there was no point in interfering, and yet part of Synthia really, really wanted to jump in and join them... At least for a little bit. That wasn't probably going to be the best of choices, but she felt it.
Anyways, casual observations aside, there was a strange sense of melancholy or thought in Ostanda's eyes as Synthia watched. Was she perhaps feeling bad for these fighters? That was... strange. She didn't feel like they should be felt bad for? They were devoting themselves to their combat, their prowess, what more could they want? If that's how they wanted to spend their lives, who were they to stop them.
Ah well, for now, she focused on the path ahead, keeping her eyes peeled and her feet ready as she balled and opened her fists ready at a moments notice as the others likely followed behind them. She was ready for anything, and this was going to certainly be a fun challenge that was for sure...

It was curious to the young singer. Most of the nobles she had met so far were not interested in the formality of titles and the such, that was outside of that weird Jirou guy. Whether it was due to the situation they were going into or the fact that they just didn't like the titles was yet to be seen, but it was weird that it had happened multiple times now. She nodded her head a little, bowing it towards the Noble and offered her a small smile.
"Noted, Ostanda it is… though it is a little long to use in a pinch…" She tapped her chin a few times in thought. That could be something she could figure out given time, for now she went silent for the moment before turning her attention towards Synthia as she spoke up. "Ah yes, we did meet during the Flower Blossom Fete." Her words were fairly formal, though relaxed and generally. No hint of nerves, a generally relaxed air to them. Once the group started to move she quietly followed the behind, her mind wandering off to the topic of Ostanda's name length.

The girl's eyes wandered about, resting on each pair of fighters curiously. Were all dungeons like this? She would be lying if she said this wasn't her first dungeon, her activity really only starting to show up now that she was much more comfortable being around people. She was curious though of what she was seeing, martial arts was not something she had ever really been trained in. Sure her mother had taught her some blade work but it was to incorporate into dance, not to use in combat. Though she always questioned where her sword even came from. In hindsight what had ever happened to that blade? She just knew it was old and that was it. Eventually her gaze settled on Ostanda, her eyes locked onto her for a moment in thought.
Her eyes lit up in realization suddenly at the girl's red hair before plopping the side of her left hand in a fist into the palm of her right hand. "How about Flare? It sounds cool and fits someone with such fiery hair!" she chimed, offering the other girl a bright and innocent smile. She next pointed towards Synthia. "She could be Syn" before pointing towards Peter finally "And Peter is short enough but if needed we can shorten it to Pete if needed!" The girl was clearly proud of herself, a hint of excitement in her voice for a moment before she realized that Ostanda had asked a question, Aura's blurting out suddenly of nicknames having come shortly after.
"A-ah… sorry… I-I guess my only question would be if you think we'll be expected to engage in… more physical forms of combat. It's not really my style, I wasn't taught anything about it outside of I guess dance… if you can consider that something for combat anyway." She was out of her element, she preferred to keep away from a fight, not be right in the face of one. She wouldn't mention anything beyond that though, really she had a limited knowledge on most things. If her mother hadn't ensured she could read who even knew if she would be able to without having needed to learn so from a fellow Blue Rose.

Pete already felt very out of his depth just from the sight of his new allies, and that feeling only increased as he continued moving forward with the trio of girls, while he wasn't sure what exactly he'd be doing as someone's heir he didn't thinking going on an outing with magic knights would be in the cards, at least not for at least a while, but of course things always had a fun way of getting the last laugh on them. As Synthia patted him on the back he nearly toppled over, thankfully however he was able to catch himself, saving themselves from any embarrassment at least for now as he tried to laugh it off with Synthia, the laugh coming easier than he thought it would as he found the group's energy weirdly inviting.
Soon as introductions were over it seemed everyone immediately snapped their attention towards their guardian for the day, as Ostanda spoke, Peter found themselves hanging on her every word, wanting to do everything they could to ensure they didn't mess up, this was his first outing into a dungeon after all, his adopted family's reputation was ever lightly looming over him and he wanted to make sure he did them proud, well the best he could make them proud at least.

Following the others, Peter couldn't help but be in awe of the scene around him, he'd never been in a dungeon before, they really hadn't done a lot of things before so seeing all this was all so cool to the pointy eared Paint user. Taking in all his surroundings he couldn't help but find his eyes drifting to the different practices taking place all around him, subconsciously wondering if he should try to draw some of them before recognizing that this probably wasn't the time, nor the place to be doing any sort of art practice, especially if they wished to remain in the good graces of everyone else in the group.
"M-most people just call me Pete, and so far no questions. " They nodded slightly as they responded to both Ostanda and Aura, sounding less nervous than he did before, managing to make it through the sentence with little stuttering, However as Aura asked a question he suddenly grimaced as he realized that's a question he too should've asked, he didn't tend to specialize in close-quarters combat, well he didn't tend to specialize in combat at all, but he assumed that would need to change rather quickly if he wanted to keep succeeding.

[attr="class","tamaflowersscroll"] It was uncommon for the floral mage but she needed time to think away from everyone and everything. So much had happened and it was clouding her thought process, the issue was she knew no matter where she went she would be known it was hard not to be with the things she had been through at her young age. She decided to leave her family's estate before dawn and head to the Wildlands, of course, she left a note telling her guard and matron that she would be away as she needed to clear her head. She feared that they would get worried and hunt her down otherwise. It was their jobs after all to keep her happy, safe and content but she hadn't been that way for a long time but that was because of how she was treated differently from her brothers. [break][break] She knew it was tradition and that she was expected to be a delicate woman happy to be kept inside a gilded cage, to have her needs tended to while tending to her husband and popping out children. At one point she had been quite fine with the path that had been set out for her but it had changed when she went to get her grimoire. It had been the first time she had ever taken a foot outside of the mist that protected her family's estate and she saw so many different things. She saw strong women training and some even being healers. It was then that she found out about all the different magic knight squads. She knew of two thanks to her father and eldest brother being members of the Crimson Lions and her mother being a member of the Blue Roses but she didn't know of the others. [break][break] They still wanted her to walk the path they had decided for her but she argued that she should be allowed to become a magic knight, her parents tried to push back but she argued that if it is good enough for her mother then why should it not be the same for her. They relented but stated that she either be a Blue Rose so her mother could watch over her or she would stay on her designated path. It was the first time her heart had been clouded like this and she left the estate without guards to protect her, then again she also was getting ready to run away. It was only because of the former Golden Dawn captain that she ended up where she was now. He told her it was okay not to walk on the path set out for her and that she could make her own. [break][break] In that very conversation, he had offered a position within the Golden Dawn giving her his own mantle, the same one that she wore even now. Although, this wasn't like that she needed time to see what her path was now. Things were far more complicated, but how could they not be when someone you barely knew professed their love for you knowing that you were betrothed? When she was around this individual things just constantly went from bad to worse for one reason or another and where she never usually had this problem with anyone else she interacted with... he... he.. made things complicated. She was completely lost in her own train of thought on how she ended up in the predicament that she now found herself in that she hadn't realized just how far she had travelled. She stopped outside of what she believed to be a giant arena. [break][break] "Why would this be here?" she asked herself as she looked around. It wasn't exactly her cup of tea but she decided to enter, if nothing else she would have a look as it could be a place where Valo could train and/or test himself against others. She sheepishly entered, because, boy did she stand out like a sore thumb. In honesty, she stood out like a sore thumb even as a magic knight as she looked like a life-sized walking porcelain doll from the east. She wandered to each ring and watched a little, she could tell these people were serious about their training, and that there were many different styles. "Valo really would enjoy himself here, perhaps I should mention it when I return and see him again." she said to herself, it was clear that all fights were honourable and that all rules that had been agreed to were being upheld. [break][break] That at least put her mind at ease. She noticed that there were only a few people in each ring and that they were of varying experience levels, she guessed that made sense. She continued to walk further keeping an eye on her surroundings as this wasn't her usual scene and well accidents could happen by people going flying out of a ring. "Maybe Junjie might even enjoy this place or Jirou." she commented as she continued deeper into whatever this place was. It seemed the deeper she got though the more intensifying the fighting was, it actually made her feel tense as she truly thought someone was going to end up badly hurt or worse dead. She had to believe that this wasn't the case and that it was just how some fighters were. [break][break] She saw people take a brief look at her before continuing with their matches, even those on the sidelines didn't seem to acknowledge her much, she was uncomfortable in this place but she was at least thankful for that. It was then that something or well someone caught her eye making her pause for a second and change her course. It was easy to spot a Vermilion from miles away thanks to their vibrant red hair. She made her way to the small group and bowed in a traditional manner to them "Hello Lady Vermilion." she was always formal when first meeting someone until preferences had been set. "Are you here to take part or are you showing the ladies with you a good place to train?" she would ask "I got lost in my thoughts and ended up here." she admitted her pale cheeks pinking a little in embarrassment. "O... Oh, forgive my manners. I am Hinota." she just realized that the pair though would know her due to her deeds had never met her in person and so needed to introduce herself.

Kikka is a town known to be the defensive foot-hold for the Clover Kingdom, it is the town that sits in the grey area of what could be considered the noble region and the common region. It is due to this that there is a diverse range of people and backgrounds that called this place home. [break][break] A young fire mage found himself getting into trouble when he decided to steal some vegetables from a garden of jewellers. The mother of the family was the one that caught him and even told the boy and his mother that they just needed to ask due to them having more than enough. It was the beginning of a new bond between the family and the fire mage. [break][break] Over time the boy grew and where he was wanting to learn the next flashy fire move from the former purple orca. She would tell him that he needed to learn how to walk before he tried to run or those he cared about would get burned by those same flames that treasured so much. Of course, being young he didn't understand what she was getting at. [break][break] The woman's husband attempted to teach the street smart and somewhat rough male his craft. He, of course, got bored real quickly because crafting jewellery was a slow process that often was very detail orientated. Still, the man tried. On the day the fire mage was scheduled to leave Kikka for the exams the man called the young mage into his workshop. [break][break] He was just finishing up a double ring set and told him to put every wish and promise he could into a single flame and release it onto the ring. Somewhat sceptical the fire mage did what he was asked and thought it was for some sort of trinket for the woman that had helped him grow. The man placed the ring into a box and handed it to the budding mage. [break][break] "Valo, we see you as our son and we are proud to see the man you've grown into. You've helped create something that is unique and special, keep it with you and give it to someone that you believe deserves what you put into it." [break][break] The now young man gave bravado with his normal attitude but took the ring. He held onto it for three years until something terrible happened. The family that he had loved so much was taken from him. The one that had seen him at his most vulnerable and had helped him through the grief was a young woman. A woman who themselves couldn't fight due to their beliefs. [break][break] He remembered the ring from all those years ago and offered it to her, telling her if she was ever in danger just to call him and he'd come running.

From the ring, a blue flame seems to emerge and move around the wearer giving the feeling of warmth and being hugged. The flames eventually dissipate and leave the person being healed with almost metallic blue flaming intertwining symbols going around their body. The flames are intricate and delicate so they could easily be mistaken as tasteful jewellery. Speaking the name of another while twisting the ring will give them the benefits of the healing. With the use of the ammo rules, additional people can be healed per trigger. This ability heals for junior rank damage, this ability will also actively attempt to cleanse those being healed by it from any debuffs, poisons, hexes, curses, venoms as per the clashing rules.

Speaking the name of the person that the wielder wants to speak from creates their name at the front of the book in orangy-red flames. When a connection is made an identical book is created in front of that person with the casters name so they know who is contacting them. As those communicating speak the pages start to fill in with blue flaming text as if being written, this is so facts can be looked over at a later point while the spell is active. As this is only junior currently only one person may be contacted at a time. If used for reinforcements the person being asked must wait 2 rounds after the initial contact has been made before they can enter, as this ability grows stronger it will allow for contacting people in other areas, if contacting people in other areas and requesting aid they must wait 4 rounds after the initial contact has been made before they can enter.

A warm gift for Hinota Yuiee. After spending a few weeks away from the flower mage, Valo had crafted a beautiful bracelet as a gift for her. [attr="class","Leoscroll"] Floor 1 Room 1: [break][break] "That you are right Synthia, we are all magic knights as wearing a mantle for anyone but a magic knight is a crime." Ostanda said stating the obvious as she looked over her shoulder at the two female magic knights. it seemed the civilian of the group had decided not to join them. Which was fair, dungeons were dangerous and can hurt a lot and or get you killed. " She said as she continued walking. She continued walking watching the fights around them. As much as she loved fighting it was the fact these fighters. They were just memories of the land, the abnormal mana made real. They were long gone by now but forever trapped fighting the same opponent in the same way. No variations, No change [break][break] She looked over towards Aura listening to her observation before deciding the members needed some sort of nickname. While Ostanda might be against nicknames as they serve nothing for a warrior like her other then a childish outlook for the enemy to taunt and use against her in battle. She closed her eyes listening to aura's nickname for her " Flare...Why flare. I am a vermillion. I am the Heiress of House vermillion. My squad has much better names for me then Flare. However, you may call me whatever you wish. It won't change my view nor am I going to make you not call me such as that would be a waste of time and energy. "She said with a sigh folding her arms before hearing new footsteps looking past the blue rose and black bull to see the one and only doll mage herself. [break][break] "Oh Hello Captain. Girls say hello to the captain of the golden dawn and the best support mage within this kingdom. It is nice to see you here today Hinota. I am going to assume the fates found a way to bring you to us cause this dungeon is well...very physical in combat so to speak." She said in curiosity before turning to Aura. "Yes Reports speak that the enemies we will face are more or less hand to hand specialists. This whole dungeon is about the art of war about the conversation one can have with the connecting of their fists." She said with a eager smile at the thought of battle. [break][break] She wasn't one for conversation. Anyone in her squad could tell you she cares only for fighting, for doing anything that was not interacting with society and its needs to talk. She could be found on some mission, some dungeon, doing so training whether with her hands, with her spells, or with her relics to having a book in her hand in some high up porch with a good drink to add to her want of being left alone. She liked being up high. [break][break] She snapped her train of thought as she listened to hinota's question seeming somewhat embarrassed by how she got here. "A good place to train? If it was just that, I would take us to either the volcanic grand mana zone or the Shadow grand mana zone. Both are very strong in their own ways and are excellent places to train. No, We are in a dungeon called "martials peak". Reports say it is more or less a massive warrior's paradise of a grand tournament of fighters from all walks of life showing their skills and holding their grand conversations." She spoke reaching into her satchel pulling out the report holding it out to Hinota "These are all the details I received this morning. Since I know you are an amazing strategist on top of a great healer, maybe your insight will be of great assistance as she move through this dungeon." She replied
[attr="class","Syn1image"]❝Alright, let's get started.❞
[attr="class","Syn1scroll"]
Synthia would take note of everything that was happening before them as they ventured further into the depths of the Dungeon that seemed to be filled to the brim with practitioners of Martial Arts. To be frank, it was like a paradise for Synthia... however, part of her felt like, if she got enraptured with the rhythm and feel of everything going on, that... might've been the point? Maybe she was stuck in her own thoughts, but she felt like getting stuck at the beginning with the whole idea of Training til she fell to her knees was what the Dungeon perhaps wanted. Was she looking too deep into a magical structure? Yeah, most definitely.
Was she still going to try and keep her cool? For sure.
She paused in their trek into the Dungeon with Ostanda's pause when commenting about Aura making a nickname for herself to call their current person in charge. Nicknames were definitely a lot easier to call someone than their full name, it's why she always referred to Jevi as Snowy. So when she heard it, she giggled a little, and shrugged nudging Aura with a smile.
"I kinda like it though~ It makes you sound cool, plus I think it's a bit cute, not gonna lie. Good choice Aura~"
It was while she was enraptured by these thoughts that she didn't notice as a pale figure entered the dungeon, and started making comments about a few things, asking about a number of things, before finally introducing herself. Of course, Synthia being Synthia, didn't know much anything about Magic Knights or politics or Royal Families or anything like that, but she was still cordial regardless as Hinota introduced herself, and asked for her manners to be forgiven, earning a shrug and a wave from Synthia's hand as she giggled a little.
Ostanda would ask them to introduce themselves, stating that Hinota was, of course the Golden Dawn's Captain, and now that it was mentioned it finally clicked into place for Synthia as she rubbed the back of her head, knocking her hat slightly askew as she nodded.
"Oh, it's fine, I never really cared for Manners, plus we're all here for the same reason, right? Anyways, hiya~ name's Synthia! NIce to meet ya."
She nodded at Ostanda's observations, stating that the enemies they were going to be fighting down here were going to be hand to hand and fighting specifically with War. It made her ecstatic, but she had to try and contain herself here after all, lest she lose herself to the burning emotions waiting to boil over.
They would continue talking, with Ostanda taking more time to explain the Dungeon and it's hazards, and stating many a thing that she could note from what they saw. Of course, the whole idea of this being a Heaven for Melee Fighters and people who studied the way of Martial Combat. She'd received the report earlier that morning, so she had a lot going into the dungeon, though of course that didn't mean HInota wasn't prepared either. The two seemed like an excellent pairing with each other, with Ostanda noting how Hinota was more of a Healer and strategist, alongside being the Captain of the Dawn.
Of course, Synthia didn't really want to interrupt her two superiors actively conversing about the details for moving forwards into the Dungeon, with many a thing that could go wrong if they decided to engage with the dungeon floors. But regardless, her excitement was just brimming and filling at that point, and it was hard to suppress herself for long, as she bounced about on her heels, waiting for the greenlight from Ostanda or Hinota.
She waited a bit, watching to see what the two would do, before following after them, a smile on her face.
"Alright, just lemme know what you want me to do Osta, Hina... Oh, Uh, hope you two're alright with me calling you that by the way. Just, kinda helps me keep track of names better y'know~"

Aura practically deflated at the woman's response to her, the girl letting out a breath before crossing her arms. The singer didn't look up before she spoke, knowing full well that she could get in trouble with a noble house, but at the same time she was comfortable, not surrounded by people who put her on edge, not that they could help it. "Flare because your hair is as bright as fire. I am sorry if I offended you, My Lady. A hint of playfulness entered her voice.
"Ah, but you must forgive me. You did say you prefer no titles and yet you invoked your noble family name. So which is it?" She finally looked at the girl, a teasing grin on her features. "You must forgive this orphaned commoner of the name McKinly who doesn't even know her own father." She offered the woman a bow before straightening back upright. "If you prefer me to call you something like Lion though I will concede. It is ultimately up to you." When Hinoita appeared the young performer pivoted, offering her a bright smile. Aura was more than happy to be surrounded by women, it was easier to let her guard down.
"Good day, I'm Aura, Junior member of the Blue Rose. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." The girl laced her fingers together in front of herself, letting herself stay relaxed for the most part. Her eyes flicked back over to Ostanda, nodding at her words towards her about the fighters in there. A frown did play across her features. She was a ranged fighter, hand to hand was far from her specialty. The mention of training as well had a soft sigh escape the girl. She really needed to get herself into a better position to handle herself no matter what was called for.
She tapped her foot a few times in thought before shaking her head. "Guess I can just lean on my skills as a dancer to simply try to dance around whatever it is that ends up getting close, doubt I can keep my distance forever." She shrugged a little. Her mom probably should have focused more on some hand to hand combat instead of expecting Aura to be able to rely on her magic. Sure, the woman had two elements, one of which someone of her heritage probably shouldn't have, but there were weaknesses to relying on just purely magic. What would happen if she found herself unable to access her magic? Probably in a very bad spot.
Being defenseless was the last thing the performer would ever want.
