It was a warm bright day in the city of Silva as the vendors worked tirelessly to peddle their wares out to the populace, children could be seen playing in the streets as magic knights patrolled the thru the city though due to the closeness of the base most of the knights guarding the city were Silver Eagles.meanwhile inside the base one of them was currently finishing decorating his new room. Sol was currently finishing putting on a new bed set and curtains in his room. He had already finished putting up his books from home and a few other things. As he finished he took a deep breath before he layed across his bed and relaxed for a few minutes. After a while, a knock on the door brought him out of his thoughts of what to do next. "Hey Sol you have a mission so head to the entrance to go and get the details” another member said thru the door before the noble sighed.”Alright I'll be right there" he said before he stood and stretched before heading out the door.
As he headed towards the entrance Sol glanced as his outfit. He was currently in a white under kimono with a black outer one to match with green spiral patterns on edges which brought out his eyes more. on his feet were a simple pair of Geta and of course, his mantle was around his neck and shoulders showing he was a member of Silver Eagles. He got to the entrance before he found a paper explaining his mission.” let's see here Sol Shinryu needed for…Babysitting?” he said as his eyebrow started twitching in annoyance, while he knew that many people had requests for magical knights he had to admit it felt like something as simple as babysitting was a task below the defenders of the kingdom. Sol further read that it was a nobles spoiled baby that needed lots of attention and since their normal sitter was sick they needed a replacement fast, it also stated that he would be working with another person as well for this mission.
Sol Sighed but he folded the paper and put it in his kimono after he read the directions and headed on his way. “Magic knights as babysitters it seriously makes no sense but at least I'm not stuck doing this alone” he muttered to himself as he walked thru the town streets. While he walked he got many looks from the vendors and many girls seemed to blush at the sight of him while men gave him either looks of envy or distrust due to the rumours that seemed to follow him. As he reached his destination he stood before a very large and lavish mansion and he smirked a bit before he glanced around.”hmm seems I am the first one here I guess I'll wait a bit for my partner to arrive for this job” he said as he stood and pulled out a small book from his kimono and started to read to pass the time.

It was quite the sunny day and the given the time of year she and others could be expecting more to come, or at least she hoped there would be more to come. When she woke up she was going to spend the day practising her magic in the hopes to actually get stronger by mastering a new spell but well, a dampener had been put on that plan as she had been summoned by one of her superiors. It had turned out that a nobles babysitter had fallen ill and they didn't want their precious baby coming down with whatever their nanny had. She could understand the sentiment but at the same time why not actually call in another babysitter? Why had they contacted the magic knights for something that most people could do with their eyes closed? She couldn't help but silently sigh as she nodded to her superior.
"I understand the task and will do my utmost to make sure to uphold the reputation of the squad." she said calmly her thumb going over her pinky as she brought her hand to her chest doing to normal salute of a magic knight.
With that, she lowered her hand and turned to leave hoping that this was going to be an easy task but knowing that that was going to be unlikely as most noble children could be spoilt brats if their leash wasn't yanked on every now and then to tell them when they had done wrong. She had been lucky to have fair parents that put her in her place when she needed but she knew for a fact there where a lot of parents that didn't. Before too long, she was walking out of the Golden Dawn squad's headquarters and towards her destination. She wasn't in an immediate rush so took a leisurely walk to her destination instead of flying, it would be different if this was an emergency but on the whole, she believed it was not; besides from what she was told there would be another Magic knight to help. She prayed to all that was holy that this person wasn't going to get in her way because that was the last thing she needed right now. It took her about thirty minutes to get to the estate in the town of Silva that she was to attend, the house in her opinion was gaudy in her opinion. It was overly flashy and not in a good way, it was like they were trying to get one up on everyone else in the neighbourhood. Shaking her head she took a deep breath before pushing the gate open and walking down the long paved walkway that took her right to the front door.
As she walked down the walkway it almost seemed like she was gliding down it as she wore a long flowing white hanfu with a baby pink sash and hem, around her shoulders was her Golden Dawn mantle, her hair was done up in a complex hairstyle with matching white and pink ribbons. She saw someone standing at the door that she hadn't seen before stopping a little ways away she looked him up and down noticing his mantle first and foremost
"I believe we are to do this task together, my name is Hinoto Yuiee and I am a member of the Golden Dawn." she said bowing ever so faintly as she noticed his clothing and believed he had been raised much as she had.

While Sol waited he kept reading his book flipping the pages every now and then before he heard footsteps approaching himself and quickly looked up to see a young woman dressed much like he was though he could tell she was younger than him, Sol couldn’t help but blush slightly since she was stunningly beautiful though he had to admit she looked almost like a doll. She bowed to him as she introduced herself as Hinota Yuiee and was a member of golden dawn though Sol had caught that quickly from a glance at her mantel. He bowed back respectfully “a pleasure to meet you Hinota San my name is Sol Shinryu and I’m from the Silver Eagles I look forward to working with you” he said with a small smile on his face. After a moment he turned towards the door and sighed a bit. ”I suppose we should go meet the parents now” he said softly as he knocked on the door.
After a few moments later one the parents opened the door to them. “Ah you two must be the knights that are going to be watching our little Hiro while we are outcome in please” the woman said as they moved to let the two of them in. once inside Sol glanced around and while he didn’t say anything all he could think was that the inside of the house was just as gaudy as the outside. He knew having money meant you could get lots of things but the taste and common sense were needed as well and these two clearly didn’t have it. After a moment the two parents looked at them before speaking again.” so who are you two again just so we know who is looking after our baby boy?” the father asked. Sol glanced at Hinota for a moment before speaking. ”My name is Sol Shinryu of Silver Eagles and this is Hinota Yuiee of The Golden Dawn we are glad to be of assistance” he said politely though inside he was clearly annoyed at having to do this chore. The father blinked before looking at Sol suspiciously. ”Oh mr Shinryu I didn’t realize they had allowed you into the Magic knights your very fortunate” he said. Sol resisted the urge to send a icy glare at him since he caught the snide tone and the suspicion that hung on every word. “I do consider myself blessed to have been accepted into the Silver Eagles now is there anything important we need to know about taking care of your son” he asked before the mother nodded and would start showing them where the items to take care of her son was in case they needed them. As that was going on the father levelled a suspicious glare at Sol but the knight sent an icy glare back at him which made the father look away. Sol stopped glaring after that and sighed knowing that his reputation would have caused problems but it still was irritating to see others treat him like crap just because of his magic.

Hinota looked at the man in front of her as he was reading and closed her eyes sighing, she could never really understand why people did what he was currently doing. It was rude to the people they were attending, she understood that he was likely waiting for her but he could have introduced himself instead of having the family wait; had she been late she was sure she would have heard about it not only from the family themselves but a scathing review would have been sent to her captain. That being said, she was never late without a just reason so even on this day she knew she was slightly early. In honesty she had no real reason to be late given the location of her squad's headquarters were not all that far away as far as she remembered, in honesty, she could be wrong but it was a nice day so it was easy for her to just to lose track of how long she had been travelling to this gaudy home. She stood from her slight bow however as the other had introduced himself, he was quite a handsome person himself but still she couldn't help but feel there was something off about him but she had no way to know for sure. The blood-red slitted eyes did make her beyond apprehensious but she kept her composure. She listened to him and let out a deep silent sigh, this was why she was the best working within her own squad they would have either made the journey together or met away from the house and went the rest of the way; if this couldn't happen then the one that arrived on their own would likely have knocked and introduced themselves allowing the client to know that another would be arriving shortly instead of having one of them standing in front of the house like a vagabond or being so rude as to read on the doorstep. She had no idea what this Silver Eagle was thinking but she already believed him more than a little dim.
"In honesty, you should have introduced yourself already, quite frankly how I found you I would have believed that you were either a member of this household or were looking for a way to break in without being caught. I understand that you were awaiting my arrival but that should have been done outside the estate we are currently standing in because by now, those that are inside would be fully aware of your presence here and have likely sent a message for a magic knight to come and remove you from there property as some sort of vagabond or other type of unsavoury person." she reprimanded him ever so slightly, her voice never raised to disrupt the surrounding area and was completely warm the entire time.
Hinota just watched as the other finally decided to do something he should have done the moment he got to the door, he knocked. She remained a little way away from him silently as she didn't want to clutter the front door or cause any disrespect to the ones they would be working for on this occasion. Soon enough she watched as the door opened as the parents stood there looking them both up and down, she opened her mouth as she was about to answer the question and introduce herself but it seemed like the other believed she didn't have a voice to be able to do it herself. 'How much trouble will I be in if I throw a building block at this jerks head I wonder.' she thought to herself as she closed her eyes for a moment to centre herself releasing a quiet silent sigh following the parents of the young boy they would be caring for, for that day. She actually wondered given how slow Sol seemed to be if he would actually be a danger to this child, she guessed she would be able to stop him from making any stupid mistakes as the last thing either of them needed was a bad review to their captains. She would have quite happily let him sink but her squad and personal reputations were also on the line here so she had to make sure he didn't screw up or it looked bad on them both.
She waited until the parents started to walk away and slightly out of earshot before she leaned in "Thank you for introducing me Shinryu san but I have a voice of my own and I can use it, please do not speak on my behalf again. It is quite rude as we have only just met each other." she whispered into his ear before starting to follow the parents, the warm smile already back on her face as if nothing ever happened.
As they continued to walk down the hall towards were their ward was she remained quiet, watching and listening to everything around her. Her sensory skill was non-existent that was true but that didn't mean she couldn't find things out. She noticed the tone of the father, she put two and two together and realised it was likely his eyes that was causing the issue but as she just met both men she could be wrong, only time would really tell. As Sol had asked the important question she kept a close eye on the mother as she started to list where medicines where, illnesses, emergency numbers, how to get ahold of them in an emergency, dietary needs, allergies and Hiro's schedule.
"Thank you, ma'am, your angel will be in the best of hands while you are away, there is no need to fear." she said with a polite tone and slight bow towards the woman.
Within her eyes caught the glares between the father and her current associate and wanted to both facepalm and slap Sol upside the head in the hopes to knock some sense into him, luckily the parents had left the room momentarily to get their child leaving the pair in the room alone. Hinota turned to look at him and instantly groaned "Shinryu san, I do not know what is going on between you and our male client but your behaviour is unacceptable and unbecoming of a magic knight; especially of a squad like yours. You must realise that our captains will end up with a report from the clients and whether you like how they look at you, speak to you or what their favourite flavoured candy is you need to hold back your personal distaste for it until the job is over because I refuse to get a bad review because you can't keep yourself in check. Now act like a grown-up never mind a magic knight of the Silver Eagles or I will personally complain to your captain about your behaviour at current." she said quietly not wanting to disrupt the home or bring unwanted attention at least to herself, she was pretty sure he was already screwed in that department.

After he finished introducing himself Sol listened as Hinota told him that he should have introduced himself to the family already since how he had been before she arrived made him look like a household member of a vagabond wanting to break in.at that Sol had to admit she had a point though he did think that how he was dressed and the fact he had his mantel on would have curbed the idea that he was a Vagabond. Sol still nodded as she finished her explanation. ”My apologies I didn’t think of it that way I merely wanted to wait for you to arrive before we introduced ourselves next time ill go on ahead” he said noting that her tone had been warm and not raised at all so he kept his tone polite as well. As they were lead inside and after he had introduced both of them he heard Hinota whisper in his ear a thank you for introducing her but not to do it again due to it being rude since they hardly knew each other.
Sol whispered back softly so only she could hear “Forgive me Yuiee San I didn’t mean to be rude nor disrespectful it won't happen again” he said as he turned his attention back to the parents as they looked at them. After the parents left the room to get their child Hinota then told him that his behaviour was unacceptable of a magic knight and of his squad, in particular, telling him that the captains will hear about everything that goes on so he needed to hold his distaste back until the job was over. She also told him that she would not have a bad review and that he needed to shape up or she would personally talk to his captain about his behaviour. At that Sol sighed and nodded. ”your right I let my emotions get the better of me for a moment its something that I shouldn’t have let happen” he said. He knew he was going to get an earful for what he had done but to be fair he hated how most of the nobles looked at him due to something not in his power, he just wanted to be seen as himself, not as someone with a creepy magic.
As the parents came back Sol composed himself and watched as they were cradling a small baby boy in their arms. From just a cursory glance Sol could tell the child was perhaps a year old at best and was wrapped in a very expensive and comfy blanket. “this is our little Hiro please take good care of him while we are out for the day” the mother said as she would pass Hiro to Hinota which inside felt like another jab at him since it was clear neither the mother nor the father trusted him due to the rumours, however, he still stayed calm and didn’t let his irritation surface. Sol glanced at the child as he smiled slightly since the boy was rather cute but he knew this was not going to be as easy as it seemed. Being a noble himself he knew most nobles were coddled and treated like the second coming of a deity though his upbringing was balanced due to him being heir to the family name. the Father spoke once more as the parents got ready to head out the door. “we will be back later do make sure that our son doesn’t cry we did pay a good sum to get the best in care” he said glancing at Sol with another nasty look though the knight kept a straight face. ”Rest assured sir we will take excellent care of him” he said politely
The Father simply looked at him before turning and said almost too low for them to here “you had better Bad Luck Brat” he muttered as Sol felt a vein throb on his head at the insult but kept his mouth shut. The moment the door had shut Sols eyes narrowed at the door. “Shinjimae” he cursed quietly in his native tongue. The fact that the man had thrown such an insult at his face and barely tried to hide it made the young knight beyond annoyed. He sighed after a moment and his glare vanished as he knew it was better to drop his anger then hold it. He glanced at Hinota. "Yuiee San is there anything specific we need to do first?” he asked

It was true that he had a mantle that showed that he was a member of the Silver Eagles her words still remained true on both points, he could have been a member of the magic knight squad and be visiting family as she herself often did. The latter, well she had heard of magic knights working with criminals or criminals defeating magic knights taking their mantles to gain the trust of people only for the squads to get the backlash. There was a certain way that magic knights should present themselves and so far this would be Silver Eagle obviously hadn't been taught that at least in her mind; well it was either that or they had a stupidly relaxed captain. In her mind, this fool wouldn't last too long within the Golden Dawn, her captain was a good man but he didn't do sloppy, disrespectful or idiotic and so far her current colleague wasn't doing anything in her mind that made her believe otherwise it was beyond frustrating to be forced to work with a magic knight that seemed subpar at best in her mind.
"I can understand your intention, however, if you were wanting to wait for someone you are working with then you should wait outside of the property. This, of course, isn't always possible so you should go on ahead. That being said if you are working with someone on a task outside of your own squad and not like this one, I'm sure a meeting place could be arranged or would be arranged by the captains in question." she could be wrong but to her, this was just what made the most logical sense, she didn't want to scold him but help him maybe understand another way it could be done; after all, for all, they knew the parents could have been needed at a family emergency or some sort of emergency meeting and by him standing outside could have had some serious consequences due to it.
What was done was done, there was no way of changing it now she just hoped that he would start using what was between his ears but at current, she was pretty sure she could look in one ear and see right out the other. She just moved quietly through the hallways after he apologized to her, he didn't really want to cause any issues or delay the parents any longer than they already had been due to issues out of her control. As they waited in the room her eyes turned to the elder male for a moment before she sighed briefly before she turned to look him dead in the eyes, she was only slightly smiling at the moment.
"I can understand how hard it is to be judged on magic and looks. Trust me, I get it. You have likely though what most if not everyone does about me." her breathing was steady but the smile left completely "I look like a doll and it's not easy to be taken seriously due to it..." she turned her head to the left and looked down her eyes closing showing it really wasn't easy for her. "You use a macabre magic, I also get that..." she said softly looking up as she raised her left-hand sakura blossoms started dancing around but there was a miasma present amongst the dancing petals though it smelt like cherries. "I was born with one myself but it acts odd and smells far different from what it should." she lowered her hand ending the demonstration
"Our magic is part of us for better or for worse as is our appearance, it honestly doesn't matter what the world outside think of it or you when you, yourself have come to terms with it all..." she said in a warm tone poking his forehead "Something you've yet to find peace in I presume." she added bringing her hand back tilting her head a gentle smile on her face, it was clear she was at peace with herself and the flaws and oddities that sent her apart from others "We are unique, people fear unique and so try to pull and tear it down bringing in doubt of ourselves, it's when this happens we become the monsters they see us as. Do you understand?" he asked the other trying to help him understand himself a little more since he seemed to care how others viewed him when it meant nothing.
"Besides, you are a magic knight if they were in danger do you really think what kind of magic you used at that point? No, it wouldn't because they would want to survive. Let it slide off you because in the end it just taints your own spirit and you become what they make you." her voice was warm and understanding to the other, she watched as the door opened as she was given the young noble to hold by his mother.
"Of course, as has been said by Sol we will take care of your cherub to the best of our ability." she said with a quiet warm tone as she rocked the sleeping child in her arms watching Sol briefly as the exchange was made. "Of course sir, he will be very happy." she affirmed knowing there was likely sensory detectors in this place so any mistake would be caught and reported to their captains.
Her eyes went to the father as he spoke to Sol "With due respect sir, it does not matter the rumours that revolve around Sol. He is a magic knight sent here by his captain as he believes Sol is best suited to the task at hand..." she bowed ever so slightly as not to disrupt the toddler in her arms "I do apologise for overstepping but I do not believe he deserves such harsh words. He like yourself didn't decide the magic he was born with, it is what the fates decided." She knew she would likely get a write up for that but she couldn't remain quiet as another magic knight got treated like dirt at the bottom of someone's shoe for something out of his control. Her tone was warm, gentle and respectful the entire time and hoped that the patron would understand her point of view without going off on her. She was from a somewhat respected family that put a lot on duty, respect and honour so hoped that also would be taken into consideration when he thought on her outburst but she was unsure in honesty.
When the father finally left she quirked an eyebrow as he muttered for the client to drop dead and sighed, how could she be so unlucky to be teamed with someone that didn't have anything in his skull? "You aren't helping your case you know." she said in a disappointed tone, before moving her head towards the schedule indicating he could check for himself on what should be happening when the child woke up.

Sol could only nod as she explained to him that she understood his intentions but if he was going to wait he needed to wait outside the property or just head in and meet up with her inside if not then a meeting point could be arranged. ”that’s true and next time a meeting place should be set up so we don’t have this happen again Hinota San” he said knowing that she had valid points on everything and he couldn’t even think of any way to argue against them so he just let it go. Once they were inside and waiting Hinota turned to him again and started explaining that she understood about being judged by appearance and magic and questioned if he thought the same thing that most did about her and that was that she looked like a doll.
“I did have that thought for a second Hinota San but that thought did not stick around we are both magic knights and that means we are expected to defend our home from all threats appearances mean nothing and taking someone lightly on that alone can be a deadly mistake” he said gaining a soft smile as she showed that her magic while pleasant-smelling was just as macabre as his own. As she explained that their magic was a part of them and they had to come to terms with it themselves though she questioned if he had yet to do that. “I don’t think I have fully come to accept it but your right others will try to tear us down and we can't let that get to us” he said softly. Sol found it refreshing and nice to meet someone who didn’t care about his appearance or magic and in fact understood his problems, sure Hinota had ripped into him but she always told him why and her points were always valid.
As the father threw a nasty comment at Sol he caught what Hinota said as she defended him against the words that he'd quite often from other nobles and he resisted the urge to smile since he got the feeling that would be considered rude to the parents. The father looked at her for a moment with a sceptical look before simply nodding as they headed out the door. As Sol cursed the man verbally his partner scolded him and he sighed while rubbing the back of his head. “My apologies my temper is still a bit short” he said with a small bow of sincere apology. “I still have a long way to go to be at peace with myself” he said before seeing her move her head towards the schedule and Sol simply nodded before he headed over to the list. Glancing it over. “hmm looks like when he wakes its an hour of time to play then its dinner time” he said as he moved over and looked down at the child in her arms.
“the kids cute but I can only wonder how spoiled he is considering how most nobles raise their children” he said knowing that many noble families tended to coddle their children which tended to not be good later down the road, it made many nobles think they were untouchable and unbeatable as well which was a deadly mistake for those that went into the magic knights. Even Sol knew never to underestimate someone since it could come back to bite you in a big way. Glancing at the child in Hinotas arms Sol could tell he was sleeping peacefully and wondered when the child would wake or if they would have to wake him which would be risky since they couldn’t have the kid crying or it was game over right then and there.

Hinota smiled and nodded in return to the statement he had made showing he had understood what she was getting at, she had to wonder if the Silver Eagles were as prideful and as elite, as many had claimed them to be as if Sol was anything to go by they, were amateurish at best in her opinion and needed a severe wakeup call to get their professionalism up as she was pretty sure even the Black Bulls could do better and that squad was beyond a bunch of misfits at the best of times. "I would have to agree, though who knows if we will even be on a task together after this one." she said calmly, it was true that outside your own squad the chances of working with the same magic knight from another was slim at best. For all that had gone wrong so far she could see that it was just likely first job nerves and that the other wasn't a bad guy. He was rather handsome but had to admit that the crimson red reptilian eyes he had did put her at ill-ease but given how she looked she wasn't going to judge him on that, it was his actions that mattered to her and from the first interaction with the parents she could tell that this apparent easy job was going to give her a damned headache. She wished she had declined the task when it was given to her but knew this was as much part of her duty as anything else was and so was stuck here until the parents returned.
She looked to him and tilted her head to the right "It doesn't matter if it was a second or not you still looked at me the same way everyone else likely has." she said quietly to him as to not disrupt the household in any way, to her it was impolite and rude as she was a guest in a clients home "I haven't judged to on your appearance but I will admit your eyes did put me at ill-ease when I first seen them because I've never seen anything quite like it outside the reptilian family." she admitted to the other showing she was just as bad as he was on that one and so wouldn't be taking the higher ground on the matter. "You and I have differences and so we can look past it in others in a matter of seconds but put yourself in the shoes of someone who sees themselves as 'normal' and only sees things in black and white without even thinking that the grey area in the middle even exists. We're oddities and so we are looked down upon with suspicion and often fear, yet when they are in danger those oddities will not come to their minds due to their want to survive." she told him trying to help him understand that no matter what the prejudice would be there due to it, it was just something they'd have to live with whether they wanted to or not. It was true he'd likely get it worse due to the fact she could hide certain aspects of herself where he couldn't.
"Oddities are often shunned until they're are needed." she said gently to him with a smile before she straightened her head "So let me ask you something Sol. Would you be prejudice towards them if they were in danger because of their hate, fear and prejudice towards you now or would you let it go and save them?" she asked sincerely towards them "Then ask yourself would you do it because it is your duty as a magic knight or would you do it because it is the right thing to do as a person regardless of how you are treated by them? You don't have to give me the answers, just something for you to ponder on as a person." she would continue as if she anticipated the answer to her first question "Depending on your answer to the second part of that question shows you who you really are at the end of the day and if you answer both how I expect you have then their words should have no power over you so just let them throw their mud because it will not stick." she said finally hoping to help him be at ease with himself finally as he had already stated that he had likely never done so, perhaps this is why fate had decided to put the two odd mages together for this task.
Hinota watched the father looking at her as if she had just said something that was out of the realm of possibility and held her breath, only to watch him and his wife nod before leaving for their current engagement making her let out a sigh of relief. She was pretty sure she was going to get scolded for that one when Zaven got feedback from the pair but she stood by her words and conviction in regards to Sol. "I would say a bit more than a little short-tempered, I'm guessing your family couldn't afford anger management therapy." she said looking to the other, she knew that his family was noble and so it was no question that they could afford such things but it would be like admitting a flaw and most nobles refused to admit such things. "I would say so." she said with a hint of frustration in her tone "Can you keep your cool while around the child because if not I'd rather you leave now as I don't want him crying or being upset." she said to the other, she really wasn't playing around on this matter they wanted perfect care of their child and she was sure they were being monitored somehow so would rather get any issues out of the way to prevent anything bad happening.
"When is he due to wake?" she asked with a somewhat confused tone, she really didn't understand having a child that must have only been around six months to around a year old having a timetable of when they would do things. It was cruel in her mind as children of this age had their own timetable of doing things, she wouldn't wake him even if the timetable said otherwise. In honesty, she was about ready to throw the thing out the window entirely as to ask a child to not wat to eat when it wakes out of a nap was stupid in her opinion and child abuse if it was made to wait an hour though hungry because it was playtime before it could eat.
She looked to Sol as he spoke about how the child in her arms was cute but wondered how spoiled he would be in the end considering how most nobles raised their children. "Sol, we were spoiled growing up let's be serious but we're still good people who do our duty to the Clover Kingdom because we were raised with a sense of duty. What's to say he won't be raised the same way?" she said wanting to snuff that out before it even got started. "The only thing I will follow on that schedule is times for medications if any are needed." she said in a matter of a fact way "Children are often hungry when they first wake so we should make him some pureed fruit for that." she said with a smile thinking it might be a good idea to get that started.

Hearing Hinota say that she agreed yet was unsure if they would ever work together again made the red eyed mage nod in agreement. It was rare that magic knights worked together more then once but the future was never sure. As his partner mentioned that even if it was a second he still judged her which made Sol rub the back of his head in embarrassment.”It was wrong of me my apologies Hinota San” he said softly while she went on and said that his eyes put her at unease since she had never seen anything like them outside of the reptile family which made Sol nod in understanding. ”I can understand that even my own family is confused as to why my eyes are like this as far as I know I am the only member of my family to have these eyes” he explained. As Hinota explained that they were oddities to supposedly normal people and that was why they often were looked at with suspicion and far but when they were in danger they wouldn’t care how they looked due to wanting to survive he could only nod in agreement. Sol knew that despite talking crap about them when it came down to it they would seek them out for protection despite their odd looks or abilitys.
As his partner asked him if he would save them or let them die due to prejudice and then went further and asked if he would do it because it was his duty as a knight or just because it was the right thing to do. It made the noble think for a moment and though she told him he didn’t have to answer Sol looked at her with a serious and focused look before he spoke. “I would save them despite the prejudice and because it’s the right thing to do” he said before he gained a small smile on his face. When his job partner brought up his temperament and asked if they were unable to afford anger management Sol just smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head, “I suppose it might be something to look into in the future” he said before she asked if he could keep his temper around the child and the red eyed man nodded. ”I can keep my cool with a child its one of the good things about growing up with siblings you tend to strengthen your temper dealing with younger ones.” He said with a smirk before hearing her question.
“hmm looks like he is due to wake up in about a half an hour” he said looking at the list before back to her and heard her reply to the spoiled comment he said. “I was joking around Hinota San I know they have been raised the same was as us most likely but he most likely will turn out fine” he said before he heard her comment on only following medical instructions and then suggested pureed fruit since young children were often hungry. At that Sol smiled and nodded “that sounds like a good idea ill go prep the fruit if you take care of waking the child” he said as he turned and headed to the kitchen and started to chop and puree some cherrys he found in there to make something yummy for the child to eat. As he finished up making the puree he took it and they fed the child not having much of a fuss with him. After that they proceeded to play with him and Sol kept the boy entertained with his solar magic making little planets and stars to amaze the boy until the parents returned. With the business concluded Sol smiled and walked out of the home with Hinota before he would bow before heading back to his squad hq to see what else the day had planned for him.

Hinota shook her head to the apology and smiled a little "There is no need to apologise, we are only human after all and therefore we are flawed but those flaws help us progress and evolve to become better people." she explained to the other gently rocking the still sleeping child "After all, I am not perfect in that department either as your eyes are unique and put me at ill ease but like yourself, it was for the briefest of moments as we understand how hard it is to be different in the eyes of others." she finished saying to him hoping he would understand where she was coming from. She didn't think bad of him for it as she had grown up having people thinking the same or worse believing that she was a toy to be played with. She listened to his words in regards to his eyes and tried to think of a way that it could have been possible, it wasn't as if dragons existed and the chances him of being a lizard man would not only offend him but make her be sent to the funny farm for speaking nonsense. It was then she thought of something she herself had been told about herself "Perhaps you have a curse on you." she said quietly almost as if she didn't want to be heard by the other in case he believed that she was like everyone else but it would explain things logically as curses and such didn't work normally she guessed.
She smiled nonetheless when Sol nodded to her comment that at the end of the day it didn't matter how odd they looked as when it came down to it, if they were in danger they would accept the help to prolong their lives. They may not give thanks or acknowledge who done it but the point would still stand that they would still accept help regardless of who offered it to them. She hated nobles like that but it was a common thing even amongst some noble magic knights to look down their noses. Luckily, for the most part, they kept their mouths quiet because it was unseemly to talk badly of another knight openly though she had heard it be done in some squads but for all, she knew that could just be rumours to paint a stain on the squad from people who have been kicked out or are jealous for some reason she would need to hear and see it with her own eyes but still she knew prejudice was there.
Upon hearing his answer to his question she smiled to him brightly "And this is why you aren't the monster they believe you to be." she informed him, it took a truly strong person to help someone who had been absolutely awful to them just because it was the right thing to do. There was of course nothing wrong with doing it because it was a person's duty but a truly good person would think about life in general without the thought of how it might affect their standing in the eyes of others. It was all fine and good to do that but like with everything there was a time and a place and when someone even your worst enemy was in danger it was neither of those things, well at least in her opinion. She chuckled quietly at his comment when he replied about looking into anger management "It will help you moving forward, we, after all, our job is that of service to the kingdom... too many complaints and you might be seen as an unfit knight." she said to him she had heard of squads gaining black stars in regards to squad member actions but he was a member of the Silver Eagles a well-respected squad if not a little stuck up in her opinion as it was filled with more nobles than not which wasn't quite her cup of tea but she guessed it had appealed to certain types of people.
She smiled nodding "I haven't had many interactions around children, I have an older brother..." she paused for a second her smile vanishing from her face and was replaced with a saddened painfilled expression "I haven't seen him since the day I joined the Golden Dawn." It was her own fault in her mind, there was nothing stopping her from going back home but she was actually scared of stepping foot on her families estate after what happened that day. The smile returned to her face but the pain was still in her forest green eyes showing the mask she was wearing for what it was. "That is all we can hope Sol but there are still people who are brats into their adulthoods." she said gently as she thought of some of the friends her parents had who acted like entitled jerks to those less fortunate than themselves, it was distasteful and wrong in her mind and she often found herself hoping they lost everything so they could get a taste of reality. She nodded allowing Sol to make the puree for the child who slept a bit longer than the chart said but as soon as he had, she instantly changed his diaper and changed his clothing before taking him to eat. It seemed as if the young Hiro enjoyed the fruit puree as he didn't fuss and clapped his hands giggling, that was a wonderful sight for her to see. When he had had his fill she put him down on the playmat and allowed Sol to play with him while she read a story, in honesty the child was having fun with his blocks and Sol's solar magic so didn't understand why she was reading to him but it was about the first wizard king and the daemon he defeated so she guessed they believed it would be taken in subliminally which she guessed made sense in a way.
By the time the parents returned home Hinota had just finished changing Hiro for a second time and was just putting him down for another nap after he had taken his medicine. After a brief conversation, she said her farewells and left the estate with Sol to head back to her squad headquarters hoping that the pair had managed to appease all the standards that the parents expected from them.
