She couldn't help but feel her stomach turn at the sight, a vision she'd never forget. The viscera, the gore. A hand went over her mouth, her concentration on casting that spell broken as she lurched over to hurl her lunch into the water. Not even mana skin could protect someone from an attack like that. She coughed as she spat the rest of it up into the water, while they were all ready to make their move on the beast. Something in the back of her mind spoke.
Been a bit, huh? Well the last time we spoke with her, she was in the middle of The Hollow Nest. Yeah, and look at that confidence booster we gave her E-... Why of course dear Br-...it's only natural she would feel braver. But to take on this kind of shit? I know, I'd rather not be lost here as well. So, what are we gonna do? She knocked the side of her head with the heel of her hand, trying to knock herself out of it before she lurched back up, and grabbed a firm hold of her grimoire.
For those that knew her, they'd see a different expression on her face, this one more stern, ready to lash out and fight, she seemed annoyed, gritting her teeth, she was more than angry with whatever was in her head. "Wquf Tynhonv!" A magic circle appeared above her grimoire pages, one circle with ornate writing lining the border. In front of her hand came another circle, firing from that second circle was an eel-shaped glob of water, it would fly out, looking to attack that emperor and start off the fight right.
She didn't have much in the lines of damage, but, she could act a little like her former self for once. Though anyone paying close attention could see sweat visibly beading on her body, and the shaking of her legs nearly giving out to a panic attack.
Name of Spell: Wquf Tynhonv (lit. "Hunting Flow") Elemental Type: Water Rank & Spell Type: Junior | Attack, Sensory Range & Speed: 25 m, 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 cast | 5 upkeep Stats Effected: +2 power Applicable Perks: Apex Predator, Vampiric Magic Description: Clasping her hands together, Willow creates a spinning pair of water balls that form in to a whirling ring before throwing it at her intended target, while airborne, she is able to command it to move at sharp angles and seek out a target. This projectile is two cubic meters in size, and will deal junior tier damage on contact with the person's body. While she has enough control, she can command it to strike another person before dissipating, rather than making a new projectile, she recollects the water for this spell and continues attacking with it. Control needed per extra projectile: 15
-10 from cast +5 if it hits 30 or 35/50mp
Summary: Willow is fighting! She shoots a junior tier homing attack she can manipulate with her hand.

His left hand scythe began spiraling over towards the daemon with all the rage the Noble could muster. While it flew, Naxel had kept his eyes focused on what his target was. Sadly, his target had teased the entire group into thinking that they all had a chance to save the citizens. With one swift blow was when the daemon slashed open that one citizens stomach ripped right open and turned into ground organs. The noble threw his hand up over his mouth at the sight of this event while his right hand still on his scythe. Whatever he had in his stomach continued to rise up and up through his throat until it all came out, and into the water. His knees had planted right on the inside edge of the boat with his head over the edge. This was not something that he would except to happen in this kind of battle field. People were going to die regardless, because that is what happens when wars break out and fights happen wrongfully. But the sight of someone dying so cruel was just on another level of fucked up that anyone doesn’t need to see. Naxel tried to get what he saw out of his mind before he would begin to move once again. Though, the daemon was one step ahead by grabbing his left handed scythe that was thrown at him. The Nobles eyes grew wide at this sight with his whole body beginning to sudden feel cool as ice. It was as if all the blood within his body was just drained out of him in an instant. What made matters worse was that the daemon jumped into the water to begin his path into a circle. Causing a whirlpool to start while the boat being the center of where the whirlpool was. From this Naxel kept his place, but spun around and around as the Daemon continued his path. Matters didn’t get any better as the boat began to spiral along with the occurrence the daemon was making.[break][break]
While the Whirlpool was happening was when Naxel had noticed Willow began to recite a spell of her own. This brought a little hope in his eyes as he was happy that his old, changed, Captain has found the will to fight along side him once again. “I am finally getting the full Willow back... Finally...” The words spiraled around his head as did the entire boat they were in. Though, Naxel wasn’t going to let his old Captain how him up by using a spell to stop this. Instead he was going to help her to where that both of their magic together would hopefully be enough to stop this monster. The last thing he needed was for all of them to get dunk down into this unknown water they were above. Captain Carmelita would find someway to bring the Noble back to life only to kill him again for letting Joseph die along side him. Naxel still had his grimoire floating out in front of him as he somehow clung onto its position right in front of him. He couldn’t really see what spell the pages were turning too, and he would throw up again if he tried to look. All that he could do at this moment was hope that his mage believed in his abilities as much as he believed in his magic. When the pages had stopped Naxel had no idea what the spell was on, nor what page it even was. This was a no brainer to him that he should of known before deciding to not look at his grimoire while spinning. Though, he knew he needed to look in order to cast the spell now. So, against his better judgement, he decided too quickly look down at his grimoire to see what it was. When he did he saw what the spell was, but his sick feeling began to came back. Swiftness was his only course of action right now. “Shadow Creation Magic: Umbral Obliviate!” He recite out loud as well as a little more vomit that would sling out as well. Where it landed he didn’t know, but he was sorry if it landed on anyone. Naxel then held out his free hand as mana would quickly form in front of it. Next, he brought his arm in before slinging it forward to released the spell from his hand. His plan wasn’t to hit the daemon, but instead stop right on its path. Then, he would flex one of his fingers to trigger the spell into exploding into an AoE of 65 meters. The Noble hoped that if it didn’t hit the daemon then it would at least cause this whirlpool to stop.[break][break]

Upon speaking the spell, two orbs will rise out of the pages of the book to appear in front of the user. A chain will shoot out of one to attach to the other orb. Then, the orbs will take shape into two double bladed scythes. On both scythes, one blade comes out to curve slightly downwards at the end while the other side slightly curves up at the end. Due to the chain with this spell the user can throw the scythes, and can easily pull them back. In Addition, This spell has quick shot which gives an addition +5 m/s to the speed of weapon spell. It also has knock back which can knock back the opponent 8 meters, plus +5 for every 10 stats the user has in power. Battle knight also allows for a +9 power stat boost. Lastly, Apex predator allows for +3 power to be added for every hit, that a attack spell with this perk, makes on an opponent. It will cap after 5 attacks or +15.[break][break] Name of Spell: Shadow Creation Magic: Umbral Obliviate [break] Elemental Type: Shadow[break] Rank & Spell Type: Senior | Attack[break] Range & Speed: 40m (single) | 40m (aoe, +25m) | 20 m/s (+5 m/s perk)[break] Mana Cost: 30 | 15[break] Stats Effected: +9 power | Knock Back[break] Applicable Perks: QuickShot | Area of Triumph | Battle Knight [break] Description: When summoning his grimoire the book will quickly flip to the correct page the spell is located. Upon speaking the spell, the user can create an orb of shadowy mana in front of his hand or an item they are holding. It would then start out small before growing into a 29.5” circumference sized orb. The user would then be able to toss the orb at any target that they so chose. When it gets close, or makes contact, the user can trigger the orb to explode by something as simple as flicking his finger. When it explodes, it would cause damage to an area of 40 meters. If the explosion makes contact with someone it would cause a knock back of 8 meters, plus an additional +5 meters for every 10 stats the user has in power. In addition, the area of the blast would be increased by 10 meters + 5 meters for every rank starting at junior due to area of triumph. The user would also be able to create an additional orb for every 30 stats the user has in control other than the starting orb. Also, Quick shot would add an additional +5 m/s to the speed of the spell. [break][break]

When the daemon began to spin the boat into a whirlpool was when he decided to help willow attack. Naxel summoned his Umbral Obliviate to send it on top of the path the daemon was taking. When the daemon would come across it Naxel would flex his finger to trigger the spell into an AoE of 65 meter attack. If it didn’t hit the daemon he hoped it would at least stop the whirlpool. [attr="class","florencetext"]The glass mage was able to take the mana beast she saw out with no problem as she pinned it to the wall with her sword. However it managed to get a spell off and while she was able to avoid most of the the jets of water one manged to strike her. It was unlike Lydia to get struck by most spells let alone one as weak as this. While the damage was nothing to worry about as her mana skin easily repaired the damage. It didn't change the fact a junior spell hit her because she was being to reckless. Was it because she was worried about her brother being inside the church or maybe an unknown factor. Whatever the reason it didn't matter as the vice captain close her eyes for a moment clearing her mind. [break][break] As she heard the Sea emperor let out a roar it was clear they knew she was here. The pink haired mage would pull her sword out of the dead mana beast before flying back into the air getting out of melee range of the mana beast. As the four sea emperors and eleven other tridents came into view she would let out a sigh. I don't have the time for you guys. Glass Magic: Spear of Longinus As the glass spear finished appearing Lydia would use her control take make an extra four spear of glass for a total of five. She would then do the same with her light sword for a total of five swords of light as well. She would then send one glass spear at one sea emperor each. The last spear and five swords would then get sent at one trident each. This attack while not taking out all of the mana beast in one go would take out over half of them should all the spells hit and she could easily take the remaining mana beast out in a matter of seconds.

Things don't always go as planned. It was one thing to see the ripped open corpses, but another thing to see the monster try to make another. Of course nobody knew what he had tried to say or ask. Everything was in utter maddening chaos at this time. The new horror didn't cause any vomiting, as there wasn't anything in the system to release. This didn't mean it wasn't horrifying, though it was hard to show it when they had to try to keep inside the boat. Had the young man planned to feel like a deamons play toy that day? Joseph was pretty sure that no person would choose such a fate. The voice was terrifying. The magic knight leaned his body down a bit to try to make getting a foothold easier. A pale trembling hand latched onto one of the surfaces on the boat as pale peachy pink eyes scanned the surroundings. The group wasn't exactly making good headway in saving anyone at this time. Memories briefly filled his mind that were supposed to have been forgotten. A pale corpse with dark sunset hair that looked like it could set the world on fire with intensity, the strands shimmering gold at where the light touched. A hair that managed to be dark, intense, yet radiant all at once. The sort of coloration that looked like it could wake the world with the slightest movement. As quickly as it had flickered into the mind it had left, leaving no context or reasoning.
There was a hot anger that sizzled under the skin towards the deamon, but there wasn't really anything Cobborn could really do about it. The young man couldn't even yell, let alone attack. There had to be something he could do though, wasn't there? No was the time where being quiet and observant was important. Willow had gotten sick, but it looked like she had managed to pick herself up and start attacking. Body language pointed to her still being scared, but only a mad person wouldn't be at this point. As for Mister Blake, it seemed the sickness was certainly worse on him. Was it from the spinning, or what had just happened? It wasn't like the peachy orange haired mans voice would magically start working during an intense situation just to ask. Even if he could? Now wasn't really the time for that. Then there was something wet that didn't feel quite like the water that was below the boat. It wasn't hard to figure out that was vomit, but honestly getting just a bit more smelly from another persons stomach outtake was the least of the fears, frustrations, and upset that was silently steaming inside. At the least, it seemed to help the azure deer figure out what to do. Maybe it was useless, but to cast a spell he would need both hands. Maybe that wasn't a good idea, at least until he could stay up without holding onto anything.
But wouldn't that be pathetic? And what if there was something around that the eyes couldn't as easily see? There were people better at sensory here, he was sure. Joseph was still going to try his best, even if it wasn't backed with brimming confidence. So the junior ranked individual reached out with their free hand briefly to pat Blake on the back a bit. It felt a bit like everyone needed that, but that was the only one who had puked on him. Hopefully everyone could keep it together and survive, even if it didn't feel like such a thing would happen at this moment. The other hand let go of the boat, his legs and body doing their best to not stumble at the moment during their 'turbulent ride'. This was the second time he was using the spell today. The time between wasn't that far apart, right? Once to help find his way to the blue rose headquarters, and then now. So he quickly signed 'reverberation', the spell quickly activating. This included a temporary map, just as it always had. He just wanted to be sure that if the group survived the one monster, they wouldn't be be strolling into more surprises before they could even save anyone. The tunes playing from the map wasn't any less chaotic sounding than it had been before. With the spell now cast, Cobborn quickly grabbed onto part of the boat again. What madness would the evil being pull next?
Name of Spell: Reverberation Elemental Type: Carbon Matter Rank & Spell Type: Junior| Sensory Range & Speed: 50 meters | 10m/s Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Stats Effected: n/a Applicable Perks: Elemental Oddity Description: The spells name is signed with their hands to activate it. Bit's of carbon matter go into the air in front of him and make quiet tapping sounds. The carbon matter amplifies the sound, making it capable of feeling out the area. A temporary map is created from carbon matter, changing the sound the spell was making previously. Everything that he could sense is shown on the map, the amount of magic being shown by the size of the tiny diamond over their little figure on the map.
A duo of a man in butler's attire with the symbol of House Silva embroidered on the right side of the chest on it and a silver haired man who wore a black and red suit with a coat hanging off of his shoulders flew through the air towards their destination. Both his suit and coat had the House Silva symbol embroidered on them. The silver haired young man looked down towards the ground during their flight while he was completely lost in thought. "Sir Esart, we have arrived in Raque." The House Silva servant spoke to one of his many silver haired masters who sat behind him. "Ye-yeah, I noticed. Thank you, Peers. Take me down. I want to travel the rest of the way myself." Esart spoke as he managed to break from his thoughts and come back to reality. Peers flew down to the ground and where Esart would hop off of the broom and give Peers a nod, his usual sign that he would be fine and that he would call for him when he needed him. After Peers left, Esart looked around the area of the port city that the Blue Rose squad called home. He covered his nose as he caught a good whiff of the sea nearby. "Is that what the sea smells like? Disgusting..." He mumbled to himself as he started to move through the city. He would pull out a small map from one of his pockets and attempt to navigate his way through the city as he made his way to his destination on the map; The Blue Rose Headquarters. "I need to ready myself to test myself against them.. I will not be a disgrace to the Silva name.." He mumbled to himself more which was a way that he was aiming to encourage himself. He was not completely sure if it was going to work but he made sure to not speak around others so that he was not judged by them in any way.
He would later find himself a bit out from the Blue Rose squad's headquarters when the loud sounds of water would start to come over the city. He would start to move quickly through the city along with the other citizens upon realizing the situation and find a small boy crying that caused him to have a memory of himself when he was younger. The thoughts of crying in that dark room alone washed over him as he looked at the small boy and girl. The thought of allowing anyone to feel the way as he did back then came over him and he could not allow that so he stopped near the child. "Hey, uh. Everything is going to be okay. Where are your parents at?" He tried to sound sincere to both of the child and knelt down next to him in an attempt to help them feel safer near him. He knew he was not the greatest at it but felt that he should try. The boy looked at him with his face filled with some hope as someone had stopped to seemingly help him but was still too scared to respond with words and only pointed towards the Blue Rose headquarters. Esart pointed to his back. "Get on my back." The small boy looked at him confused at first causing him to grunt at him in anger. "Hurry up! Don't you realize that a noble of House Silva is offering to save you?! I am giving you another ten seconds to get on me before I leave!" He yelled out at the kid who looked at him in fear from his yelling but after hearing him somehow didn't cry anymore as he understood him. The boy got onto his back and he quickly started to run off with the boy. They had been left behind by the other citizens which left them as the lone duo running through the streets as the water started to quickly rush through the streets. Esart kept moving as fast as he could with the little boy on his back but before he could reach the Blue Rose headquarters he was swept up by the water and thrown around like a rag doll by the waves. He did not let go of the boy as they were pushed around in the water as he felt it was his place to take care of the boy until he was to some sort of safety. He also made sure to keep a hold onto his coat that he was wearing over his suit also as it was a priority to him.
He had felt like he had been swimming for hours but in reality he had only been swimming for around fifteen to twenty minutes with the boy still holding onto him. "I'm a Silva and we are known for using water magic but I hate this right now..." He spoke out as the boy fearfully kept holding onto him. The silent little boy suddenly nudged him and pointed up into the air as a woman flew down towards them. Esart did not recognize the woman but felt he should thank her even though it would be hard for him to do. He was about to speak to her when they were suddenly scooped up by her and then dropped off on some dry land on top of a circular balcony of a building that managed to not be submerged underwater. "That water really ruined my clothes, ugh!" The noble would speak out angrily as he threw his coat onto the ground around him, leaving him only wearing a black long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up with matching shoes and pants. He would attempt to squeeze out the water in his clothes before he would hear the sound of someone coming from the other side of the balcony they were left on. He would quickly move in front of the small boy while pulling out his grimoire and create a mass of mercury near him with the intention to use it to defend himself if need be but before he could attack he would see the familiar mantle of the Magic Knights and see that it was a couple members of Blue Rose. "I'm glad you could show up. Take the kid." He moved and lightly pushed the kid towards the Blue Rose knights. The boy would hold onto his hand lightly and not seem to want to let go. "It's okay. They will help you and get you to your parents. I have things to go do. Can't let our savior go without talking to me like that. It's rude." The boy would then hug onto Esart's leg and he would awkwardly pat him on his bag. "Thank you." The boy would finally find the courage to speak and then walk up to the Blue Rose knights. Esart would feel some sort of fuzziness in his chest but push the feeling away as he knew he had to do more to not disgrace his family. "Just get him to safety for me. I'll be fine. I'm a Silva after all." Esart would then leave the boy and the Blue Rose magic knights and make his way to the church where he had seen Lydia go.
Esart would show up just after Lydia had used her spell to attack the enemies around her which he would add to her attack by adding his own spell after summoning up his grimoire, creating a mass of mercury near him and using it to fire off bullet-like bits of mercury at the enemies around them. "Here to return the favor because as a Silva I cannot allow a debt to go unpaid." He spoke out as he moved closer to Lydia. "Esart Silva at your service." He would continue speaking to her as he stood near her and took aim.

Cyrus killed his enemies with great and extreme prejudice as the people he saved looked on him as some great mage, but unlike the normal count of people there was one extra...would he notice the stowaway and now that he had done his part he would need to get back to the Blue Rose base to drop off the refugees before getting to his allies.
The Church-Lydia, Estart
The Sea Emperors did not have time to react, well that was true except for the one that alerted the others. It picked up two trident’s and threw them at the incoming spell on Lydia’s as the other daemon’s began to flee into the water as their most powerful fighters were killed off in mere seconds...So the Sea Emperor that lived went back into the church and fetched a hostage before throwing her onto the ground and called for the other daemons to return. The hostage was a little girl that looked no older than ten. ”Kill the little shit and let’s bring the magic knight inside.” the Sea Emperor said to one of the lone Lurkers as it looked between the two as the Sea Emperor retreated back into the church as random screams could be heard, cries of pain, and anguish as the Lurker and four Trident’s moved upon the little girl as she tried to reach up to Lydia ”H-HELP ME!” She called out, but in actuality The archdaemon had already thought of a way to take the knights souls one by one...and this trap at the church was to prey on the kindness and duty of female knights. The little girl had already been mutated, Lydia could not see from the air, but her pupils were like that of the daemons...pitch black and soulless. IF Lydia decided to save the girl and then try to approach her, she would wait till she was within striking distance before attacking Lydia with one of the Lurker’s spines. Estart had worked from the other side of the church and had managed to kill two Tridents before noting that Lydia was still in the air and preparing, but the cry of the helpless girl was loud and clear to him.
The Hangman’s Hill-Hinota, Willow, Naxel, Joseph
Hinota untied herself from the boat and made her way over to the man that was gravely injured. She immediately began healing procedures and used her magic to do so as a sweet smelling miasma filled the area as those on the boat were left to their own designs. Joseph’s spell would reveal their location plus that of the mana signatures of Cyrus and Lydia...and of course one other as it looked like Lydia was not alone finally. Naxel and Willow moved to stop the daemon by casting their spells into the water below them. Their spells were slower than that of the daemon, Willows missed, but allowed for a change in direction enough for the senior shadow mage from the Azure Deer to be of use there was something that was not planned as Naxel’s orb exploded it caught the creature and finished the job, the daemon was caught off guard, but a twisted event would be that the boat they were riding splintered and broke in the concussive blast, throwing the three in the boat into the swirling turbulent water below. They would need to get out of the water soon due to not being able to move through it easily.
Let’s fight. You all know what you are up against. No stats will be given out besides health. Those of you with enemies the stats listed still stand, but those who have defeated their enemies...what will you do now. The Tridents: Intermediate The Lurkers: Senior Sea Emperors: Grand
If you have to get into the water or are thrown into it, you will suffer half movement speed decrease and a possible chance of being attacked.

[attr="class","florencetext"]As the vice captain started her own attack she was able to sense another persons mana enter the area around her. It didn't seem like he was that strong but he wasted no time getting to work attack and taking out two of the weakest mana beast before announcing his name and of course it was Lydia's luck that she would not only save the life of a Silva mage not that her duty as a magic knight would of allowed her to let the kid die. However she would have preferred he stayed away from the church instead of showing up calming he was paying of his debt to her when in reality it was just putting himself at more of a risk. The glass mage managed to take out the rest of the mana beast well other than the sea emperor who alerted them as it managed to make it's way back into the church. It was more than likely going to let whatever else was inside the building know about the two mages if it didn't already here the fighting which was going to make the vice captains job a hell of a lot harder. She would call her spells back to her letting all but one sword and spear vanish. [break][break] She would then look down at the Silva mage. Well there you go you've paid your debt by helping me kill two of the bastards. Now you can leave and head back to the blue rose base. I don't have time to fight these things and babysit someone Silva who's in over his head. It was then Lydia would hear a child calling for help. The pink haired mage would quickly spot a little girl no younger than ten years old and then she spotted the five Deamons moving towards the girl. The vice captain would waste no time making four more glass spears before throwing one at each of the deamons hopefully taking them all. [break][break] Assuming Lydia managed to take all of them out she would then make her way over to the little girl unaware she was already affected by the deamon. As she got close and the little girl tried to attack her Lydia would use her speed to avoid the attack. The vice captain would fly into the air for a moment thinking of what to do sure she could kill the kid but that could make things look bad on her half. There was also the chance the child was being controlled by the deamons and could be saved. At the end of the day Lydia would play it safe for now. She would use her speed to try and get behind the girl before trying to hit her in the back of the neck with the flat of her sword knocking her out. Assuming it worked Lydia would place the little girl somewhere safe before calling her spears back to her and heading inside the church hopefully without the Silva.

[attr=class, cyrustext]Well, it wasn't the way that he usually liked to handle things, but all things considered Cyrus was rather satisfied with how his little plan had turned out. After the hail of his Falling Star spell finally ended, the young man stood up to study his surroundings. Just as he had desired, the last of the enemies that had surrounded him had been obliterated under the rain of amber shrapnel. A look over at the civilians he had ushered onto his Heliades golem saw that they were all safe and sound, and they even seemed rather impressed by his display. The sight of them unharmed brought a relieved smile to the young man's face, though it was quickly replaced by a more serious look.
Those enemies may have been defeated, but they were still in enemy territory; the safety at the moment was rather precarious, at best. He needed to get them all back to the Blue Rose's headquarters as soon as possible, so as to avoid putting them at further risk. Still, Hama whistled as her partner called the golem back down so that he could board it as well. "I never figured you would have pulled a stunt like that!" She noted with a laugh. "Good thing you covered those three with your Syrup Shroud spell."
Cyrus only nodded in response, turning to the civilians as he got on his summon. "Alright everybody! Our next order of business is to get you folks to the Blue Rose's headquarters! That'll be the safest location until we can get all of this mess under... control."
Cyrus trailed off towards the end, looking at the people he had rescued. Something was off. One. Two. Three... four?
That wasn't right.
It had been a hectic few minutes, but Cyrus was absolutely certain that there had only been three civilians trapped on the island with the monsters. Not only from memory, but because of his own knowledge of his limitations; at most, Cyrus could cast his Syrup Shroud around four targets simultaneously at the present. He had surrounded the three he saw initially, with himself as the fourth target.
He looked at the fourth person, who lacked his spell's protection. Weary, he moved to stand in between them and the other three civilians, lightly tapping his foot on the golem as a silent order to ascend. "You there," Cyrus said, pointing at the person he did not recognize. "When I arrived on the scene, there were only three individuals in need of rescue. Three that I saw, three that I protected with my spell, and three that I sensed with my Ki."
He then pulled out his grimoire again, the pages flipping to a new one. A bright light emerged from the book, taking on the form of three slender wyverns. This was his Falernum Wyvern golem; a smaller, more streamlined version of his old Molossus golems that he no longer used. Not as big and powerful, but much faster and more durable as well. "You three," He said, speaking to the civilians shrouded in his spell. "Please move to one of my other golems so that we can begin heading over." At his words one of the golems moved to fly beside his Grand golem, extending its wing out for the civilians to walk onto.
He never took his attention off of the fourth person as he did this, mentally commanding his other two dragons to watch for any sudden movements. "Please, enlighten me as to your identity." He requested, tone formal yet authoritative. Hama also kept her eye on the man, having caught onto what was bothering her partner.

Name of Spell: Falernum Wyvern Spell Element: Sap Spell Rank: Senior Mana Cost: 30 | 15 Type of Golem: Scout Applicable Perks: Puppet Master, Armament Description: A streamlined version of Cyrus' original Molossus golems, the Falernum is intended to serve as a mobile scout and defensive unit in spite of its relatively small size (3 meters). Its sleak body testifies to its speed, and conceals enough strength to carry three people, albeit at a reduced pace of 20m/s compared to its usual 36m/s. Offensively it is noticeably weaker than its predecessor, but this is compensated for by its greater durability and improved sensory capabilities. While the original Molossus was very much a dragon and far larger aesthetically, the Falernum's wyvern-inspired shape gives and strange head give it an almost bat-like sort of air about it.
Everything was spinning all around while the Daemon was trying to create its whirlpool. Naxel had already threw up a couple of times before and during the start of the occurrence. Luckily Willow and himself thought to send an attack outwards to try and stop it. He didn’t really know where his spell had gone, but did hear the blast go off when he flexed his finger. The water was still spinning around then to where it was still hard for him to focus on any one point. Though, he did hear a loud splash afterwards to only see the water began to slow down. From this made the Noble assume that his and Willows attacks were successful with stopping the daemon. Things didn’t get better from there, sadly. When the blast of his spell went off it caused damage to the boat to where the craft was destroyed. Naxel dropped down into the water to begin spiraling with the soft whirlpool around and around. “Fuck... I did not mean for that to happen...” Saying to himself while trying to keep his head above the water. Then, Naxel began looking around to see if he could spot his other two comrades that more than likely went in along with him. Hinota seemed to have evaded the destruction of the boat as her mana signature wasn’t very close to him like Willow and Joseph’s were. That was a good sign to him, but he knew he needed to make eye contact with the other two as well. So Naxel quickly made a decision to thrust his arms upwards to where he would submerge under the water. Holding his breath he would take a look under the water to see if he could spot any kicking legs that were around him. His body was making things hard for him to move around for some reason or another. There hasn’t been many times where he has been in water like this with his full attire on. It had become difficult until he spotted some silhouettes deeper down into the water. “Are those the creatures that we were warned about from earlier?” Thinking to himself while his face had become more worrisome.[break][break]
After spotting the silhouettes below Naxel maneuvered his arms to where he would re-submerged his head out of the water. Without knowing his right handed scythe was still locked into his grip. “It is getting bad that I forget I’m holding things along with not feeling them either. Guess Ill have to seek help on that later.” Saying to himself as he looked at his scythe while using his other hand and legs to swim. Then, the Noble decided to wrap his chained weapons around his waist to get a better swim stroke. During this the chains had wrapped around something that felt hard down his back. His left hand reached back to notice that his staff was still secured across his backside. “Yep... needing to get my memory checked again... Fuck you Klaus.” Cursing the man that had caused his memory to be so horrid since he arrived back at the Azure Deer Base. Naxel then loosened the chain to where he could move it around the staff to become better secured around his waist. Afterwards, he looked around again to try and spot his two other fellow partners. “Don’t know if you guys can hear me, but we need to head to the hill! Hurry as quickly as you can before that creature comes back, wherever it could of gone!” Screaming aloud in hopes his partners could hear his orders to retreat to the hill of dead bodies. With that being said He would do the same to begin swimming over towards the hill as quickly as he could. This water still was causing him to move a lot slower than he normally would. Luckily the location he was headed towards wasn’t that far away from where they were. That Creature was a powerful thing with mana that he was sure scared a lot of those dead people. Whatever being caused this was going to die one way or another today. Thankfully they had Cyrus and Vice-Captain Lydia here. Cyrus was a smart person when it came to devising a plan while the stories of Lydia Ravencrest were legendary. So, this creature had another thing coming if it thinks it will win today.[break][break]
A bunch of strokes later allowed for the Noble to make it back to the Hangman’s hills. When he arrived was when the sight of what he first saw afar was worse up close. Dead bodies that were inhumanly killed by that blasted creature. So many innocent Citizens living their daily lives until something they couldn’t control came in to ruin it all. But luckily Hinota had made it here to heal the last person the sea daemon took as a victim. He didn’t know, yet, whether or not that person was going to live, but he hoped they would. Before moving he turned around to check on his partners behind him to see if they were following in his pursuit. It would then get cut short as a horrid smell began to strike his nostrils. “Damn... are these dead bodies stinking already?” Saying to himself until he looked down to notice there was vomit on his uniform. This would cause a disgusting look on his face as this was his favorite uniform to wear. Naxel just knew that wherever that daemon went would be best if it stayed there at this point. Then, the noble walked over to where Hinota was located with healing the Citizen. His chains slapping the sides of his legs while his staff stayed alongside his back. He also had another Obliviate awaiting to be used in case another creature were to try and sideswipe them again. “Hinota, status report on the Citizen please.” Politely asking for a report on the citizen as he awaited for Willow and Joseph to make it back to land.[break][break]
Name of Spell: Shadow Creation Magic: Dual Scythes of Umbra[break] Elemental Type: Shadow[break] Rank & Spell Type: Senior | Attack[break] Range & Speed: 80m | 40 m/s (+5 m/s perk)[break] Mana Cost: 30 | 15[break] Stats Effected: + 9 Power (BK) | Knock Back[break] Applicable Perks: QuickShot | Battle Knight | Apex Predator [break] Description: When summoning his grimoire the book will quickly flip to the correct page the spell is located.
[break] Items[break] Shadow Kings Staff[break] Shadow Chariot[break][break] TL;DR Naxel did some recon under the water after the boat had been destroyed. He called out of WIllow and Joseph to head back to shore while he did himself. Once back he saw dead the dead bodies up close while noticing vomit on his clothes. This was shaken out of his mind to go check on Hinota while awaiting for the others to reach land.[break]

There wasn't enough time to figure out all the information on the temporary map. The spinning had made trying to read all the information from the map hard enough, but the boat exploding? The mans body moved through the foul waters as quickly as they could swim. Vomit infested water wasn't really pleasant to move through. It didn't make it any better that Joseph had two people that could be linked as the origins of the horrid feel and smell. The young man knowing that they didn't personally add to it didn't change that there had been a lot, the mess being mixed and heavy in the waters. At the least, the junior managed to hold onto the spell while swimming. The thought behind that? It was true that only a fool would pause to look at a map while within the infested waters. The information the map held would still be useful and could be read after he was on land. There was a mix of relief and dread on reaching land. On one hand there was a chance of getting dry and the deamons weren't actually on the land. It was doubtful none knew where the group was, but hopefully this meant that there would be more of a warning before an attack. Another good thing though? If someone puked, he was less likely to get coated by it now. Then again even before the boat had been downed, his fellow guild member had still got him.
There were likely plenty of good reasons to prefer land over vomit filled water. Right at this time though, he just wanted to get clean and dry. As much as the peach haired individual wanted that so badly, it was pretty obvious that such things weren't coming anytime soon. Pale pink eyes glared at Naxel. Right now it didn't matter if nobody could or would look at his hands right now. Emotions were high enough that getting the words off his chest mattered more than anyone actually looking to his hands. This was why he started signing quickly with his hands. “Thank you for at least keeping us from getting killed Naxel and Willow, even if you're also both the reason I want a shower now.” The gentle colored irises looked a bit around the hill a bit before signing more. “I get why you did so I'm trying not to feel upset about the water, or about getting puked on.” From one sort of hell to another, wasn't it? “From the frying pan and into the fire, aren't we?” He signed this line to himself before looking at the temporary map his tracking spell had made before the boat had broken. Maybe looking at it and listening to the spell would help get their mind off all the corpses, or the state of the two survivors. That couldn't just be ignored forever, that wasn't what he was trying to do at all. Cobborn just wanted to be able to focus on a task that might be able to help.
None of the corpses looked to have died pleasantly. Nothing about this mess was nice, but that didn't change that they were there to help. A magic knight isn't supposed to panic, puke, or be unable to help the living because they are too distracted by those that they hadn't reached in time. Do what you can, not regret what you couldn't. He was already very aware that to be lost in despair was to be lost, so the pale person was going to do their best to keep their head above the proverbial currents of the emotional and mental state. If his stomach hadn't been empty before all this, his own stomach contents would have left though. He wasn't exactly an emotional support wall, those sorts could speak with their voice at any time. Now he could see if there was anyone in the spells range, as long as they weren't trying to hide from tracking spells. The map would show it all, playing its chaotic mad sounding melody. None f the instrumental tunes mushed in a way that could even be considered harmonious. Now that he had time to actually really look and listen, Hinotas words from earlier rung into his head. She was definitely busy now, doing something far more useful than he. Without her help, there likely wouldn't be anyone left alive to save. Still, he quickly moved is hands to silently form words with them. “I think I understand what you mean by the choking ripples.”
Would the spell even give any important information? Maybe show route to get back without having to use the now very dead and gone boat? There had to be a way to get the civilians to the blue rose knights base. That definitely seemed like the only safe place at this time for them. All these pour souls had been ripped open while stuck on this hill after all, right? That meant just being on land didn't make death less likely to rush along by the whims of dangerous beings.
The duo had managed to take out the enemies around them which with everything going on, weaker minded people would have taken as a victory and then left the church as fast as possible to avoid any sort of repercussions but there was a thing called pride that Esart had. He knew that there had to be people who fought for their kingdom, Magic Knight or not, and he would be one of them. He felt an obligation as someone of his stature to do it so when his new 'ally' told him to leave he felt a rush of adrenaline come over him that helped fuel his aspirations to protect and save the city. "I understand that you may want to go about this by yourself in order to avoid having to worry about protecting someone who is weaker, and yes, I will admit you are stronger than me from what I have seen but I will not back down from protecting those of this city and disgrace my name by doing it." He made sure to get his point across to her that he was not going anywhere by staring her directly into her eyes with a serious look over his face as best he could with how she was in the air above him. He would quickly turn his head upon hearing the cries of a child which quickly reminded him of the young boy he had just saved earlier but the cries this time were from a girl as far as he could tell from how she sounded. He would quickly rush into action again without much thought other than helping someone and create mercury near himself that he again shot at the daemons rushing towards the little girl. He would be slower than his flying ally but he made sure to back her up as best as he could while she flew down towards the little girl. He would continue to fire more shots of mercury at their enemies as she checked on the girl to protect both of them if any of the daemons were still up and trying to oppose them.
After dealing with the enemies and making sure there was no other enemies near them he would turn his attention to Lydia and the young girl where he would see the girl attempt to attack Lydia which would cause him to distance himself away from the girl just as Lydia did by flying into the air. He would question what he should do next silently along with his companion but before he could speak up she would deal with the situation herself by quickly knocking out the young girl and then finding someone to keep her hidden from any threats. "This situation is a lot more dire than it would seem. Did they manipulate her in some way or is there something worse going on here? Either way, I'm only going to keep moving forward, even if you do not want me to, miss- errm... Wait. I never got your name. I did yell out my name to you earlier which probably came off as a bit obnoxious but we were fighting so I felt it was best. Either way, I will introduce myself properly this time. I am Esart Silva of House Silva, obviously. You are?" He somewhat mumbled over his words as he spoke but he had felt a bit out of his element with the current situation going on and felt he was rude to her earlier and had trouble finding the words to make up for it. "Also, if you do not want me to go in there with you then think of this as I went in not with you but on your side. Should make it easier thinking that way, right?" He shot the woman a grin as he waited for her to respond with her name and possibly her stature.

With the help of their spells together, they were able to deter the demon, and be cast away from their boat. As soon as the boat was splintered, she gulped and grabbed onto a piece of it to brace herself, trying to push off of it and make her way to land from the temporary airborne toss-up.
If she was able to, she'd hope to be coordinated enough to jump off of her little piece of boat and land on the piece of land near Hinota, tumbling and rolling as a result if need be. Grabbing a hold of her grimoire regardless, she would stand up at the ready, one hand pointed out with a magic circle hovering in front of her palm, she was ready to defend Hinota.
"I am having the fore ground. I shall be de...I shall be defending you with all of the strengths I am having. Please, do not be having the deter from your task at hand." Anyone who looked at her could see her literally shaking in her boots. Knees quaking, her feet trying to stamp about for proper footing and get the jitters out.
Looking between this all that occurred, she was trying her hardest, but it was clear she was having a panic attack, pushing her bravery to the forefront, she refused to run, at least, not yet.
In the back of her mind, those two voices were speaking again. They were having a conversation about trying to put more effort into keeping this girl from having her major freakouts. They were after all, in all of this together with these three voices, Willow's included that is.
Though she feared the demons, though she feared the presence abound, she refused to back down. Something beyond the bravery of her own nerves, something beyond those encouraging voices she thought she was hearing. She had some inkling of who she was before, and that was shining through. If Naxel looked closely, there was the aura of the old Willow, like a phantasm, right behind this Willow, striking the same pose.
Cyrus caught on quick as he counted the survivors, a fourth had made its way onto his golem AND survived his attack? It was unlikely unless the man was magically endowed, but as Cyrus separated the others from this man he seemed ready in case things got out of hand. The man he was speaking to however looked scared...but not of Cyrus… ”there wasn’t a chance...no choice...the church was overrun...escape...safety…I did what I had to do...what I had to do.” he said before passing out, upon inspection if Cyrus decided to do so, the man had on priestly clothes, and in his hand looked like a piece of Orichalculm from Atlantis. It must have been why he was unnoticed and avoided mostly all the damage from the attack. There would obviously be more to question, but now the man was knocked out...they needed to get back to the Blue Rose bass.
The Church-Lydia, Estart
The fight did not take long, and as they went to meet up at the site of the little girl, she would have attacked but to no avail. Lydia was too quick to dodge then knock the girl out. Estart would point out the obvious in making note that the girl seemed to be manipulated, and after brief re-introductions the two would have a discussion on who is going where. Though it seemed both humans were stubborn as hell and while Lydia was going in regardless it seemed that Estart was also going to go in, as an unwanted help, but still as help.
Inside of the church it was a nightmare. There were the priests of the church...warped and twisted onto the altars in grotesque ways with a makeshift throne built from the bones of the people of Raque, piles of eviscerated bodies laid in the back where the Sea Emperors, 3 of them were chopping up and feeding to Lurkers and Tridents, as well as the back pews were moved to resemble makeshift fighting rings where they had villagers already tied to the wooden pews as pieces of coral were placed on their bodies, just like that little girl that attacked Lydia...among them were Blue Rose mages and even a few others that looked badly beaten and some with an even deeper, darker look as if they had been through something traumatic.
The moment that Lydia and Estart would enter however, all eyes would be on them as 3 Sea Emperors, 2 Lurkers, and 6 tridents all looked to be ready for attacking.
The Hangman’s Hill-Hinota, Willow, Naxel, Joseph
Hinota was in the middle of healing as the female looked over the Golden Dawn’s shoulder, she was already no longer crying or whimpering...in fact it was almost as though she was not in any pain…
The man seemed worse for wear but things were starting to repair themselves...but he would ultimately need a stronger spell to be one hundred percent healed.
Willow, Joseph, and Naxel were all thrown into the water by the death of the Sea Emperor, the explosion of the shadow spell was enough to be the end of the beast but as the group was thrown into the filth waters, and while it did not take them long to recover...each of them had different little experiences.
Naxel seemed to forget about doing certain things, having a crisis of sorts while figuring out that there was something beneath them, moving towards them as he moved to the shore and then called out to the group.
Willow made it to the land easily and while she wanted to help it seemed she was just looking out for whatever was coming next, while having a mental shakedown as there were things that the Shattering fucked up...that couldn’t be undone...however...a new feeling would start to mess with her...a familiar feeling...the same type of feeling the FIRST time her other self was made known. It was tugging towards Hinota and the two survivors.
Joseph had made his way through the muck and even though he was reluctant to be amongst the dead he did so as he tried to think of a way back to the Blue Rose Base. Using Reverberation to try and map it all out.
What they all did not know was that thew four that decided to attack the Hangman’s hill were all Lurkers. Simple creatures, but they would hit harder if they grouped up to attack their enemies one at a time. However...they were not yet able to be seen amongst the wreckage and murky water.
You all have your parts, and now things are coming together, the survivors are weird, and all of them have their own little quirks. The church is in an extreme situation and moving inside of the church will be reduced due to the terrain in which has taken over the place...the floor is covered in pieces of flesh and bone, coral and blood mixed with water, if you move your full movement speed you will slip and potentially find yourself in even deeper than what you may want...plus it will be suuuuper gross slipping through all of...that.
At hangman’s hill the enemies will remain unseen but attack from various locations unless you have 20 or more sensory to find them.
The Tridents: Intermediate The Lurkers: Senior Sea Emperors: Grand
If you have to get into the water or are thrown into it, you will suffer half movement speed decrease and a possible chance of being attacked.

[attr=class, cyrustext]Cyrus listened to the story of the mysterious man who had somehow managed to make his way onto his golem with the other survivors, keeping his grimoire at the ready just in case he displayed any sort of suspicious behavior. The remaining civilians were each ushered onto one of his Falernum Wyverns at his word, putting some distance and a strong defense between them and the stranger. He seemed frightened, but not of the sap wizard standing before him with a spell ready to cast. The man began to ramble, mentioning that the church was overrun by something and trailing off while noting that he did "what he had to do" as he fell unconscious, whether it was from his injuries or panic he could not tell.
Looking closer at the man, now that he had the chance, Cyrus could identify his robes as those of the local priests, which matched up with his story to an extent. Something was in his hand, and on closer inspection he recognized it as a piece of orichalcum with a very recognizable sort of style to its design; it was from Atlantis, he was almost certain. Was this man a refugee from the recent incident involving the underwater city? He had many questions to ask, but seeing as the man was unconscious for the moment, he decided that they would have to wait. "Okay everybody, sorry for the delay." He apologized to the other civilians as he moved from his Heliades to one of the unoccupied wyvern golems. "We're gonna head to the Blue Rose's HQ now. Everybody hold on tight, and keep your eyes peeled as we fly for any signs of other civilians in need of help."
With that his golems took off towards the base, making good time as they made their way. He looked at the Heliades that still held the unconscious man, having ordered the Grand golem to fly behind them with Hama keeping an eye on him so that he could focus on protecting the others. "We should have him restrained as soon as we arrive at the base," He noted, returning his attention to the building in the distance. "Until we know what exactly happened, it's better to be safe than sorry. His words about doing what he had to do make me weary."
Hama nodded without looking back at her friend, agreeing with his judgement. "No doubt. But the church is where Lydia headed, right? You think she's okay? I know she's tough, but still..."
Cyrus nodded. "She should be fine for the time being... but it might be worth looking into once we get these people to safety. Keep me posted on that guy, okay?"
The spirit gave him a thumbs up, not that he could see it. "Got it!"
