[attr="class","florencetext"]Lydia would listen to the Silva mage speak. The man would state the fact he was weaker than Lydia but it also seemed he was still stuck on the idea of sticking with Lydia. It was a little annoying but they didn't really have time to fight about. Fine but try and stay out of the way you are no help if I have to save you and fight these deamons. Lydia managed to knock the little girl out getting her to safety and Esart would ask an interesting question about the girl one that the glass mage didn't have an answer to. I'm not sure it's possible however they did something to her after all a little girl wouldn't willingly attack someone like me. As for my name it's Lydia Ravencrest but you can call me vice captain Ravencrest or if you are feeling more formal Lady Ravencrest. As they entered the church Lydia would look around at the horrors in the place and for the first time in a while her emotionless face would change to that one of anger. [break][break] She would look at the deamons who looked like they were ready to attack but the vice captain wasn't going to give them the chance. Esart I'll take the three big ones and three of the medium strength ones you take the rest. Lydia would then launch three of her senior swords towards three of the tridents before rushing forward towards the sea Emperors to give them less time to defend against the spell unlike last time. She would then launch two of her grand spears at two of the Emperors before going to stab the last one in the chest with her final sword. Assuming Lydia managed to kill her own six deamons she would then turn to look towards the Silva mage making sure he didn't need any help.

He had heard the woman's full name which caused him to flinch as if someone had told him that something bad had happened. It was known that the Silva had many enemies and rivals in the Clover Kingdom and House Ravencrest was one of those many enemies. He did not exactly know why the families hated each other or who had caused the hate to build up but all that he could tell was the two families had always fought when it came to his knowledge of the situation. He knew that defying what the woman wanted was only going to keep the feud between the families going further and stronger but he felt that things were beyond such hatred at this point. "I understand it now. You didn't want me here because our families hate each other for something that most likely, neither of us are involved with or even because you may hate how us Silva are as people but I will say that I feel this situation is beyond any sort of hate our families have for each other and that we should work together or at the very least allow the other to be an unwilling ally. If anything, we can tell our families that this never happened at all. So you can choose to either be below me as some hate-filled adversary or we can both throw away our families issues and work together for now but either way I am going into this church to assist those inside that need help because my pride as a Silva will not allow me to just walk away and disgrace myself by doing so." His little speech was something that he felt was boiling over and he needed to fully get out now that he knew who she was. He didn't care that she was the co-captain of a Magic Knight squad at all and had a clear set goal in his mind to prove himself to his family as well as himself and he was not going to let anyone stand in the way of that. He was happy to hear that she was fine with both of them joining together but felt that getting out his part on how their families were was needed for them both to understand each other better. He knew that most Silva would not have even offered to work with her and tried to take all the glory for themselves so he hoped that showed her he was not exactly like the others.
He would enter with Lydia into the church and start to scope out the area around them for anyone in need or for any enemies. He was not good at sensing the mana of others yet so he had to resort to only using his eyes to find others. His feet would squish into the floor of the church and he would quickly realize that nothing was right in it. There was gore everywhere with mutilated bodies just thrown about the church like rag dolls. Limbs were present in multiple different areas of the entrance and could be seen throughout the area of the church which made Esart cover his mouth from the sight and smell of it all. He had never seen any situation like this before and even though he had forced himself to find unique ways he could train and better himself he was still green when it came to dealing with so much death around him. The worst thing was seeing the bodies of what looked to be what was left or priests through what clothing was left on their bodies, in the form of some type of large chair. The aberrant altars with bodies hung onto them were a close second for worst thing in the room. "Is there anyone here we can even save still...?" He spoke out his thoughts as he looked around while gathering his composure more. After viewing a chunk of the area he realized that they had been spotted by multiple enemies which were feasting and chopping up the bodies of some humans until they noticed the arrival of the reluctant duo. "Got it." Esart did not waste any time and created a mass of mercury that floated near his body and firing it at their enemies while he moved to take cover behind a pillar near the entrance. He would poke his head out and take more shots at his enemies and attempt to move closer to them using cover as he did so. As he was attacking he would notice the humans who were having some strange rock being placed on their bodies like how the little girl had earlier which he knew that he had to quickly deal with their enemies in order to help them. Lydia would handle the stronger enemies so he made sure to gain the attention of the weaker ones which he only knew were the weaker ones by who she had started focusing on. He would start to move from cover to cover shooting at his enemies over and over in an attempt to agitate them into charging him. If they charged in to attack him, he would make sure to get them close to each other while managing to keep a safe distance while he kept playing this cat and mouse type of dance with them. Once he got his enemies in front of him and close enough he would form a large sword made out of mercury and slash it through the air at them in an attempt to quickly deal with all of them so that he and Lydia could go and help those in need.

There wasn't an easy way off of the hill and back to the blue rose base. More things on the map besides the two survivors and current magic knights on a hill. Of course the hellishly murdered that was in such a multitude were there, none with sight could dare miss a single corpse. He didn't mean those though, nor any of the structures nearby, such things weren't important to the current situation. As far as he knew, they lacked more survivors. Not helping them get back to the place that the group needed to get the survivors to, nor holding more survivors, he just didn't have it in him to care about the buildings at this time. There had been a feeling of dread in some sense or another ever since he got the mission request. It wasn't that long ago that Joseph had joined the azure deers. While getting a tour around the base, he and Naxel had spoke about the sort of missions that the wizard king actually did give out. Cobborn had expressed how horrible it would be to get something like that, no matter the honor and the chance to do good. It still meant that it was something given out because a lot of people were likely to die. No matter who hands out missions like this, there had been the want for no events to happen in the kingdom that involved a lot of bloodshed.
The peachy pale pink eyes had been looking at the four separate enemies coming towards the hill. Such a thing shown on the temporary map was horrifying. How do you warn someone when the horror that had snatched everyone had made this man silent? Even if they could speak with their hands, it didn't change that nobody would look for silent warnings. It suddenly mattered that people were unlikely to look into his direction, that he wasn't even sure that everyone there could understand sign language. Naxel had only recently learned it, so would he understand it still in such a situation? Where fear was concerned, the brain tended to carry an amount of forgetfulness and foolishness. Things had now changed from 'it would make sense if they didn't notice me talking', to 'oh crap it makes sense that nobody would notice me talking'. How do you give a warning without a voice? There were more ways to make a sound, not including the chaotic melody coming from his spell that was still being used. Joseph made sure that were he stood wasn't too close to a corpse before deciding to stomp down a few times. This was an attempt to make enough sound to get attention without desecrating any bodies. Things looked bad, there was no boat and enemies were rushing over.
They were magic knights, no matter how bad it looked. They all worked for protecting the country and it's people, so nobody was allowed to give up. This sort of way of thinking was one of the few reasons he had been able to keep going and trying at their best. It was comforting to feel that they had a responsibility to the survivors to get as many back alive as possible. So Josephs hands moved to speak, his feet stomped on the ground to try to get others to know to look towards them, and he was doing their best. It didn't matter that he wanted curl up and hide, cry, and bathe until every bit of vomit was off their skin, or to change clothes. Of course still trying was hard, to keep going was hard, but the responsibility gave him enough pride and courage to keep telling himself to at least try to overcome the watery hell with the others. How could Cobborn call himself a magic knight otherwise? So he signed that four enemies were approaching before pointing in each direction they were coming from. This was repeated a few times in hopes that at least one person would notice.
Name of Spell: Reverberation Elemental Type: Carbon Matter Rank & Spell Type: Junior| Sensory Range & Speed: 50 meters | 10m/s Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Stats Effected: n/a Applicable Perks: Elemental Oddity Description: The spells name is signed with their hands to activate it. Bit's of carbon matter go into the air in front of him and make quiet tapping sounds. The carbon matter amplifies the sound, making it capable of feeling out the area. A temporary map is created from carbon matter, changing the sound the spell was making previously. Everything that he could sense is shown on the map, the amount of magic being shown by the size of the tiny diamond over their little figure on the map.
Hinota could see everything that was going on from the corner of her eye but it wasn't like she could do anything about it, she had no offensive spells but then even if she did that wouldn't change a thing, she just couldn't bring herself to do harm and though it was a bit of a hindrance she didn't understand why she had to sacrifice her beliefs and soul because the world was a cruel place. She could feel her mana draining quicker than she would like, she still had to learn how to make her mana pool bigger and how to conserve it as much as possible. She made a note to speak to Elenor and her captain when she got back to the Golden Dawn headquarters. She still had no idea how she ended up getting into these messes, she just wanted to go shopping with a friend but nope, the fates had decided that she couldn't have that, in fact, it was giving her the middle finger at this point. She had to wonder what she had done that was so bad that this was her fate in life "He should have just killed me back then." she whispered to herself before shaking her head as to get rid of thoughts she knew she shouldn't be having been having especially now. There where people relying on them to protect and save them, this was what it meant to be a magic knight... the burden that was constantly on your shoulders if one small thing went wrong even if you couldn't help it, it would be your reputation that was tarnished. She didn't understand how that could be fair, but this was her duty... this was all their duty... to hold that burden, to take those tarnished spots so the rest of the kingdom could live in peace and harmony. [break][break] She was brought out of her own mind as she heard Naxel ask for an update on how the severely injured man was, her eyes looked up to him briefly. "He is still in critical condition sir but things are starting to knit together and mend, it would be easier if we weren't here and I was a stronger healer..." she smiled weakly on that part but turned her eyes back to the man "But we deal with the hands we are given." she stated, it was true she was praised in the past for her natural affinity to healing magic but this was a seriously bad injury but she refused to let his life to be snuffed out. 'You should just leave them to pass.' she heard her eyes going wide her magic spiking briefly but she managed to get it under control, she had been caught off-guard the voice was similar to her own but at the same time it was different 'I can't leave him, I would be just as bad as the daemons if I didn't try to save him.' she steeled herself against whatever that voice was, she started to wonder if that darkness had its own consciousness, she had to find out if such a thing was even possible. she was starting to wonder if she had always been like this but if she had then why hadn't she been like this before that day? What was it about that day that awoke this darkness in her otherwise kind soul? [break][break] Her eyes went back to Willow and smiled and she bowed her head for a moment "Thank you, I truly do appreciate it." she said to the shaking mage that she had befriended and that was now protecting her when she herself couldn't do it herself. She continued healing the man shifting her petal dance from the woman she had made sure to heal to Willow, she would smell the sweet smell of ripened strawberries as pink and red rose petals started to dance around her as if caught in their own breeze "You are a strong person, don't show them your fear... hold your ground and stand tall... we are the only ones that can keep these citizens safe." she said back to the peach and pink haired mages. She knew this wasn't an easy thing and even she was afraid and that was never a good thing as nothing good ever happened from her losing control of her emotions. Her eyes went to the man as she started to sing a song that she didn't remember ever hearing. It was an odd sensation because she didn't feel like it was just her voice singing these words but another alongside her own. Though she had no idea where witches came into it, it was still a calming thought to think that she alone wasn't singing these words and that they actually meant something. [break][break] Though her sensory was weak she did stop singing when she felt a spike in the mana of Willow, her healing spells almost dropped due to the sudden shift, it was an aura she was emitting but she had no idea as to what it did yet so would have to be patient. Perhaps her words helped the other find what she was lacking, that was foolish of her to think, prideful even but still, it was nice to believe that you could encourage people. She could only nod as Joseph spoke of what she meant about the choking ripples that she used as a way to describe the way she felt mana "It feels like weeds that are squeezing the life out of a garden and there are more coming it seems." she stated turning her full focus back on the man, the quicker she could finish this last bit of healing the better as they would be able to use the broom to get out of this hellish place. She doubted any of them wanted to be here dealing with this but it was their job and for lower mages like herself the threat of being killed was all too real but it didn't mean that those who didn't sign up for this sort of thing had to suffer, the only problem was if they went on their own then they would be an easy target and they would have still failed, she really hated it, perhaps if they got rid of their enemies the group could escort the pair to safety but that would need to be decided after everything was said and done. [break][break]
The Azure Deer Knight stood there for a moment to examine the person Hinota was attending too. Whoever this person was really took a bad blow by that damned creature they just defeated. It really bothered him since he couldn’t do anything fast enough nor get here fast enough to stop this. Though, Hinota was doing a great job in the Nobles eyes whenever she began to give her report. She would inform him that things were starting to come together, but would be better if she were a better healer. Naxel moved his hand to place it on top of the Golden Dawns head as she continued on. It made him proud to know that he is working with someone who doesn’t want to leave anyone behind. Hinota was someone that was a true Magic Knight if he had ever seen one. The Job of protecting people, helping them, and the country was what it meant to be a Magic Knight. She was doing everything at one time that would make the young man break out into a soft sincere smile. “Don’t worry Hinota. You are doing a phenomenal job with your healing. We may have just met today, but I have full confidence in your abilities and magic to fully heal that man.” Lightly ruffling her hair afterwards before turning around to notice that Joseph and Willow had made it ashore. Seeing Joseph had made him give off an awkward smile while seeing all the vomit on the younger Knight. Naxel knew that the vomit had come from him due to him doing it twice before the shit was destroyed. The Noble would then begin to see Joseph start using his hands to sign something to say. There hasn’t been a lot of time for Naxel to practice and learn the skill, so it was difficult for him to really know what Joseph was saying. Naxel just nodded his head with an awkward smile still on his face. “You did good too, buddy.” Saying to quickly change the subject as he turned his head over towards his former, changed, Captain.[break][break]
Willow had changed a lot since whatever it was that happened. She looked very nervous while standing near Hinota looking as if she was ready to protect her. Naxel narrowed his eyes in wondering if that was she was actually doing, or if it was something else entirely. He wasn’t sure what was going on, and figured that he would begin looking around the small hill for anyone that might still be alive. Not only that, it would be in his best interest to keep an eye out for any sort of creatures that might come for a second wave. He didn’t move far away from the rest of the group. Naxel was more around the top of the hill, but not right at the tip of the hill. Where he was seemed to be the best spot to keep an eye on everything that was going on. His eyes maneuvered around the area to see if he might could spot any sort of person that could be moving. Sadly, everyone seemed like they were all truly dead from what he could tell. Though, he kneeled down to one body that was right below him. The person was obviously dead, but Naxel would move his hand over their eyes to shut them. Doing that has been a mystery to him. Plenty of times in the past has he seen priests do this to the deceased out of respect, he figured. So he had done the same to where the person would know someone was looking out for them now. Despite being too late to save them from dead. Naxel would then get up to start moving towards another body around him. His movements would be stopped from the sound of a faint thud. Curiosity began to spike his interest as he figured something might be about to bust out of the ground. He turned his head to give his team a warning, but noticed that it was Joseph stomping on the ground. Naxel had no idea what the young man was doing as his eyes came in contact with the other Azure Deer. It wasn’t until he saw Joseph point is hand in a direction that lead Naxels eyes to see more creatures. These things didn’t look like the bigger creature he and willow fought while on the sea, but he wasn’t going to let them take anymore lives.[break][break]
These creatures did look a lot different than the bigger creature from before. Naxel would grab his scythes to get ready for his encounter with these lurkers. He didn’t know how strong they were, nor was he going to give them a moment to show us. The Noble would hop down the hill, trying his best to dodge the dead bodies that inhabited it, and come to be around 20 meters away from where Joseph was located. “Alright guys! Time for wave two!” Scream aloud as he would turn his head over towards Joseph to give him an appreciated head nod. This was so he would let Joseph know how much he appreciated this. Naxel would then move his scythes to where the top point of them were within 6 inches of one another. He knew he had another Obliviate ready to be used, but knew he had to be careful. So, Naxel would then form the sphere of mana between the two tips of the scythes. When it was ready to use he would read back his right scythe to see where these creatures were. This spell had a pretty big radius when it exploded, so he had to be careful where he sent it. So, what he decided to do, Naxel would bring his scythe forward to where the sphere would land around 20 meters behind the two lurkers on his right side. After which would allow his arm to continue the momentum to where his body would spin around. Right when he just about made a 360 turn would be when he would rear back and launch his right scythe over towards the far left lurker. Doing this would hopefully allow for him to keep the lurkers focused on him and Joseph while Hinota healed.[break][break]

When it gets close, or makes contact, the user can trigger the orb to explode by something as simple as flicking his finger. When it explodes, it would cause damage to an area of 40 meters. If the explosion makes contact with someone it would cause a knock back of 8 meters, plus an additional +5 meters for every 10 stats the user has in power. As she steeled herself for what may come, her voice spoke softly, "I am, I am...I am that I am," She had her grimoire hovering next to her as she uttered this. Awash in the feelings of terror, adrenaline, and hesitation. Her gaze was not on what lies before her, rather, it was focused upon more than a thousand yards away. She was caught up in a war against demons. Beings from another plane of existence that she could not comprehend. She was fighting toe to toe with their forces. This was tantamount of a war unlike any other that had been seen in recent history. And here she was, standing upon the front line with people who had her back, and people who relied on her to be here and not fail.
With the weight settling in on her shoulders, that aura of the pre-shatter Willow started to falter, until the presence of others around her renewed it, and Hinota's words and spell helped to snap her out of it. Eyes aflutter, she had a quick knee-jerk shake of her head before she looked on and clapped her hands together, before spouting out a little speech, something that sounded quite familiar to something Naxel had heard in the past when he first became a deer.
"I care not for who you are. I care not for what you stand for. Whoever you are that puppeteered this event, I say to you your days are numbered! I will see to it you are drowned, you are brought out of the cycle of power, you will not have a chance to claw your way back out from the depths you came from. I, Fila Roscya Myt'Elura Hensepyth, Willow Omens, will...Will not allow you another life to claim!" The aura around her was a commanding one, and the faint glow in her eyes belied who was properly in control at the moment.
Whatever happened during the shatter affected Willow greatly, physically, emotionally, mentally, and most importantly, her spirit itself. And now, this wasn't the current Willow in control, at least for a brief moment of bravery. Grasping her grimoire, she called forth two spells, readying to unleash them upon whatever she could when it was pointed out.
"Wquf Tynhonv! Jtuh Xkobbqi!" Above her head, her left hand pointed to the sky, a swirling mass of a watery eel started to swim in a circle, ready to clinch its jaws into any creature that dared to interfere. Her right hand pointed on ahead, a magic circle formed, the roar of rushing water and the heads of flying fish ready to be unleashed.
Name of Spell: Jtuh Xkobbqi (lit. "Drizzle Shot") Elemental Type: Water Rank & Spell Type: Junior | Attack Range & Speed: 25m | 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 cast | 5 upkeep Stats Effected: +2 power Applicable Perks: Vampiric Magic, Apex Predator Description: Willow creates a pool of water from around her person, gathering it from the air and channeling it in a quick spiral from her shoulder to a whirling mass at her palm. She will then fire off a cubic meter sized jet of water. She can fire off more than one projectile with enough control, allowing her to either shoot straight or arc the shots toward the same target. This will deal junior tier damage. Control needed per extra projectile: 10
Name of Spell: Wquf Tynhonv (lit. "Hunting Flow") Elemental Type: Water Rank & Spell Type: Junior | Attack, Sensory Range & Speed: 25 m, 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 cast | 5 upkeep Stats Effected: +2 power Applicable Perks: Apex Predator, Vampiric Magic Description: Clasping her hands together, Willow creates a spinning pair of water balls that form in to a whirling ring before throwing it at her intended target, while airborne, she is able to command it to move at sharp angles and seek out a target. Cyrus did not get any real answers from the man, but with the job at hand he did what he could. Getting the refugees of this crisis was the first priority. When the man was asleep he told the others he was going to take them all to the Blue Roses and that when they arrive that he was going to tie the man up to be safe because of the artifact that he held in his hand and the fact that he survived a very powerful offensive spell that leveled an island...something was not right. On their way back to the base he spoke with his spirit of sap and the two agreed that the church was the next place that they would investigate next.
Arriving to the Blue Rose base was an easy travel although taxing on his mana, the Golden Dawn mage would be seen as a hero before having the priest tied up, the artifact was taken from him and put in the hands of Cyrus as they did not know what it was but knew that it was some sort of powerful magic item
The Church-Lydia, Estart
With the plan set in stone and the feelings and thought of a Silva Noble being said aloud the church would become a little battlefield as they would be fired upon, water spells being flung about as the Lurkers and Tridents took cover. When the two agreed on the plan Lydia rushed forward and alet out an attack. The tridents were no match for the swords as they were slain instantly, the swords of light sticking into the floorboards as the Sea Emperors charged Lydia, two were cut down as the last dodged just narrowly and flung the table of blood and gore up to create a barrier and try to stop Lydia as it prepared a disc of water, the water mana condensed into a fast spinning flat disk before firing it off. The strength of the spell was [GRAND] and the speed of it was 45 m/s, but that was not the last bit of the attack as the disk remained live as it created its own ammo, the total disks being flung in Lydia’s, and by extension, Estart’s direction were three.
Estart’s attacks were more of a guerilla warfare, hit and run style tactics that would be useful in this type of battlefield. The Tridents fought against them with a feverish rage as they heard their comrades being slaughtered. A lucky shot by Estart would take one out, but one would launch a snipe shot at Estart moving at 20 m/s and would deliver [INTERMEDIATE] damage if he was hit.
The moment that Lydia and Estart would enter however, all eyes would be on them as 1 Sea Emperors, 2 Lurkers, and 3 tridents were all that would be left
The Hangman’s Hill-Hinota, Willow, Naxel, Joseph
Joesph had recovered spectacularly well and was using his magic to map out the area for them all to use, but...he was further away than he needed to be to the others, but with his sensory and ap he was able to pick up on the incoming wave, but in order to continue using the spell he was using his voice...which was creepy while being stuck on a hill full of bodies, but the others seemed to pick up on the issues rather quickly. Hinota was still healing the man as she knew that it was going to be a hard fought battle to keep him stable during a fight, but then the voices added to that...it seemed that the little “voice” that woke up in her head when Zaven and Hinota first trained...was starting to rear its head once more, influencing her to think that perhaps...it was ok if this man died...if they just all write it off as if he was already gone...who would know better. However, she seemed to not give in and the voice would fade a little...for now. Naxel and Willow however, took to the offensive. Launching spells into the water as they attempted to attack the Lurker group. They would need luck on their side to hit them, but sometimes...luck was not on their side. Using the explosive shadow spell from earlier, some blood would turn the water red as the lurkers may have sustained damage to their numbers...yet as of now they remained unseen.
Those at Hangman’s hill know now that there are 5 Lurkers that are attacking you, however between the explosive attack and the spell done by Willow, there are now two less Lurkers. At the church there are 2 less Sea Emperors and 4 less Tridents. So with that...a new round begins.
Naxel, you posted past the allotted time limit...even though I am late on my own post does not excuse yours...I am noting this for a later punishment….Willow you got by this round because you notified me of your issue with the power the day before.

Naxels Obliviate sphere made its way behind the lurkers while Willows attack was aimed for the creatures as well. Both attacks were able to land his on the targets they were aiming for. Two of the lurkers mana signatures had disappeared from the Nobles senses. For the other two, they had managed to submerge themselves into the water that was now red. Seeing them with his own eyes had quickly became a problem for them. He didn’t know what these creatures were capable of, but for them hiding themselves would allow Naxel to do other things. His grimoire would float out in front of him for the pages to begin flipping. There was a spell he had noticed earlier that caught his eyes. Sadly, the events had forced him to move past it for a different spell he needed. When the pages stopped flipping it had landed on the spell he was curious about. Naxel read it over for a brief moment to realize a new spell had appeared within his grimoire that allows him to communicate with others. This had quickly made things turn around for them as he can communicate with the Vice-Captain along with Cyrus of the Golden dawn. Naxel wouuld then hang his chained weapons over his shoulders for his hands to become free. Then, he placed them over his grimoire to begin focusing his senses on finding out where the other two were located. When their mana signatures would hit him was when the words of the spell began escape his lips. “Shadow Creation Magic: Umbras Nearby Word.” The spell was recited while a square flat surface of Naxels shadow mana appears in front of him. Not only that but mana would be sent to Cyrus and Lydia with a speed of 25 meters per second.[break][break]
When the mana would reach the two Knights would be when similar flat surfaces, of his mana, would appear next to the two Knights. They would be able to see the face of Naxel while he would be able to see theirs as well if they choose to accept. “Reporting in. We have made it to the Hangman’s Hill the Blue Rose Knight informed us about. When we arrived we witnessed a daemon, I’m assuming, attempt to kill a citizen. Not only that, but it had killed many citizens that came to the hill to get out of the water. Hinota is healing the person that was injured, but I am not sure if they will make it or not... We are currently encountering more creatures, but we lost site of two. What is the situation where you two are?” He would inform Cyrus and Lydia on the situation that they are in. In the meantime, Naxel would place his hand in front of the flat surface to move it to his side. The pages of his grimoire would begin to flip until they landed on another spell that can help them attempt to find these creatures. “Shadow Creation magic: Claws of the Shadowy Abyss.” He would say aloud while shadowy mana would begin to pour out of the pages into a shadowy floor. The floor would then reach out to a max range of 40 meters in area. After which, Naxel would raise his arms for two giant claws to rise out of the floor. With that he would then throw his arms downwards to where he would allow the claws to begin jabbing at the areas where the water as turned read. Both claws have their hands flat to where the tips of its fingers are like a spear. Naxel would allow the claws to continue until the mana signatures of the two remaining creatures would disappear from his senses as well.[break][break]

[attr=class, cyrustext]Equally fortunate for both Cyrus and the civilians he was escorting, the remainder of their brief but dangerous trip to the Blue Rose squad's headquarters was a quiet one. He had neither spotted nor sensed any additional presences down below, and none of the people pointed any survivors out to him. He watched as his golems approached the structure, the sap wizard looked towards the church he was planning to head to next.
His summons all landed at the base, the knights within emerging to usher the civilians to safety while also following his directions to restrain the man after he explained the situation. Cyrus took possession of the artifact the man had been holding, thinking that it gave him one more reason to go to the church; Lydia had been there at Atlantis with him, so she seemed a good option to share the info with. As the Blue Roses took over protecting the locals for him, the people he had rescued thanked him and even called them a hero. To this he smiled awkwardly, thinking the term was a bit much to be applied to him. "You all take care now. It might be a while until we have everything under control, but until then you're in good hands! Knights of the Blue Roses, keep your eyes on the priest and, if you have any Sensory mages capable of this, please keep me posted on his status as well! He could have valuable information about all of this."
Cyrus turned to head back to his golems, when a black square with a familiar feeling about it appeared before him in the air, and in it he could see the face of his friend Naxel. Communication magic, huh? He hadn't known the shadow wizard was capable of such spells.
The Azure Deer gave him a brief update on the situation where he was at, confirming that his group had reached Hangman's Hill and were in the process of trying to heal a person they found. From the sounds of things, it wasn't going great, but at least he and the other knights were alive, so there was still hope.
"Understood." Cyrus said, making his way to the golem as the black square followed him. "I just returned to the Blue Rose's headquarters after investigating the residential district; I managed to save three civilians from a group of monsters attacking them and brought them back here. But there was also a forth man who made it onto my golem; he said that he came from the church, and seemed to be a priest. He passed out, but said some things that had me concerned, so I instructed the Blue Roses to restrain him just in case. He had an artifact like what I saw when Lydia, me, and two others went to Atlantis, which I have with me here."
Cyrus held the trinket up so that the other knight could see it as he climbed up onto his Heliades. "For now, I'm gonna be heading on over to the church to see if I can assist Lydia and see what the man was talking about. He was frantic, so I didn't get much out of him before he fainted."
Just as his words said, Cyrus' golems rose into the air and turned towards the church in the distance, heading in the building's direction after he gave a brief wave to the knights and civilians below in a bid of reassurance.

Hinota continued working on the man that was severely injured, she was wishing that she had stronger healing magic and more experience but they all had to work with what was handed to them. She was often praised for her natural talent in healing growing up in regards to her peers but now she felt useless, she had done so for a while and this situation hadn't really helped with her self doubt on being anything more than a glorified band-aid but she would continue giving this man every chance she could to survive the issue was she knew if they kept going like this the man would run out of time and they themselves would be overrun by the enemy and neither of which seemed ideal in her honest opinion. It was then it happened, the senior of the group not only touched her head but ruffled her hair as he attempted to put her mind at ease making her lose her concentration as she let out an ear-piercing shriek of terror, if people hadn't been there to witness it, it would have seemed as if Naxel had somehow done great damage to the doll-like mage. She sat there shaking for a moment looking up to the Azure Deer mage her eyes showing panic in them over the whole situation "I'm sorry." was all she could whisper after a long moment of silence as she tried to get her brain to pick up words that she needed to communicate with the other. [break][break] It wasn't that Naxel had hurt her in any way, shape or form but she had never really had physical contact with people as such things were frowned upon within her family, even within her own family she couldn't remember the last time she had been embraced by her parents, her brother or her nanny as she grew. Touch alone normally wouldn't have incited such a reaction but she hadn't seen it coming or expected it so that added to her tension but it was clear to see that it was more under the perfect facade that of a mask she showed the world at work. "I didn't mean to react in such a manner, my family don't really do physical contact." she stated calmly knowing she had dropped the healing spell that she had been using to help the man which became abundantly apparent as she heard his cry of pain and quickly turned her attention back to him "I'm sorry, please forgive me..." she whispered to him once again hearing the voice in the back of her head taunting her, reminding her that it would be so much easier if she just let him die if they had just let them all die. She clenched her eyes trying to push it down but this time it was harder, it was fighting against her this time and it was winning 'We don't have time for this whatever you are, we can talk later about what kind of person I am' she thought at that point she knew she needed to talk to her captain because there was something seriously wrong with her and her normal exercises weren't seeming to work anymore. [break][break] Hinota would bring her hands together and soon a moon blue coloured lotus flower would appear within them in full bloom, within the centre of it would be what to be a figurine of the man starting to form made from condensed miasma. The area would now begin to strongly smell like apples and raspberries and the source would be Hinota, she was glad that she had such an oddity because the foul smell of death around her was turning her stomach and likely the stomachs of everyone around her. After a few short minutes, the figurine was fully formed and the lotus had closed around it before fading from her hands completely, no sooner than it had than a seal appeared under the man himself. From the seal and around the man a closed moon blue lotus would appear. It wasn't all that long before the lotus started to open revealing the man laying within it, those with sensory would be able to feel the healing magic coming from the petals of the lotus. She knew that this spell alone wouldn't be enough and so flipped the pages of her grimoire to the page she needed for the spell that she was about to use. Her forest green eyes gained a brown ring as she leaned in and touched the man's wrist briefly the apple and raspberry scent now had a subtle scent of coffee running through it as the touch left a small marking on the man's wrist showing she had cast a second spell she knew this would heal the man quicker but would also drain her mana down too. [break][break] Her eyes still with their brown circle looked up to Naxel as she noticed that they were taking through what she could only think of was a communication spell. "Sir, if one of the others are done with their tasks they should make their way here." she looked to the woman and to the man "We have two civilians, even with your chariot and my broom there is no way we can get them, our entire team off this infernal hill" she informed him biting her bottom lip, even if she got the man to full health there was still the fact he would need to be laying down and resting so she believed Cyrus's golems might have been the better suited for their needs at current. "Sir, could you ask my senior if he is finished to make his way here as we will need his help to move two civilians one of which are injured." she asked the senior knight that had taken the lead of their small group. She knew the daemon was a threat but at the same time, she knew that the vice-captain of the Crimson Lions would be able to give that malicious being a run for their money and so knew that she could put forward the request of the aid given the situation, besides what was the use of defeating the daemon and freeing Raque if everyone was dead? Each death that could be avoided was one more stain on not only their reputations but their souls and it wasn't something that she could personally live with she wasn't sure about the others.

This is to make sure this spell only reacts to the one(s) that she touches, to everyone else they wouldn't smell anything abnormal. Those with the mark find themselves slowly revitalised through the healing aspect of the spell which attempts to remove curses, hexes, poisons and venoms, if allies get close to someone with a mark they to get a faint mark allowing them to gain the benefits of the spell by using the ammo rules. This spell remains active until Hinota herself stops it or runs out of mana.

When the figure is fully formed the blossom seemingly closes around it before vanishing from her hands completely only to have a seal appear underneath the one she had made within the lotus. From the seal blooms a closed lotus blossom that soon opens and will move with the one it is healing so longs they are within range of Hinota. While this spell is active it not only heals and actively tries to remove any hexes, curses, poisons, venoms or debuffs from the one inside it, it also gives them a +2 to their control. This spell can only heal one person at a time and can be deactivated by Hinota at will.
[attr="class","florencetext"]As the vice captain gave her name the Silva would speak up stating why he thought she didn't want him to tag along among other thing. Lydia would simply look back at him. I'd be careful with what words you pick next time. Also no the fact you are a Silva isn't the reason I don't want you here. Sure I don't like working with your family but the bigger problem is your weak and I can't protect you and save the town. Now if we are playing the guessing game I'd assume you are here to prove yourself to the Silva family. As the two mages launched there attacks it started off well enough as her light swords managed to take out the Lurkers she attacked. [break][break] Esart wasn't doing to bad himself as he surprisingly managed to take out his own group. The Sea Emperors on the other hand were being a pain in the ass. Lydia managed to kill two of them however the final one managed to dodge her spear hiding behind a table. At the same time the vice captain was able to hear one of the Azure deer mages speaking to her. Seeing as she wasn't use to working with them she was unable to tell who it was just by the voice. The mage gave the run down of what was happening at there area before asking about her situation. Well the church is a mess and I have some citizen with me that's trying to play hero other than that everything is fine. Not sure how things are looking for Cyrus but if he's able to assist one of the groups have him head your way. [break][break] After saying all that was needed the vice captain captain would take a quick look at the mana beast left. There seemed to be six left and as they launched there own spells at the two mages. Lydia would call her spells back before letting all but three glass spears and light swords remain. As the water disc were flying towards her and the junior mage it was clear Lydia was able to dodge the spell thanks to her speed however. She wasn't to sure about the Silva mage. So Lydia would then her three light swords to meet to the disc which would hopefully overpower the spell. Esart you deal with the three weaker ones I'll deal with the three stronger ones. [break][break] The vice captain would then send one glass spear at two of the lurkers before moving closer to the Sea Emperor who was hiding being the table launching her last spear towards the mana beast.

The young mage had managed to keep up his guerrilla tactics against his enemies, luring them into situations of giving an opening for him to connect with one of his bullets of mercury while finding ways to keep himself covered from any retaliation attacks as long as he was smart about his movements. Things was, he was a Silva and their cockiness was known all across the Clover Kingdom. He may have been the black sheep of his family but that did not mean he didn't share their negative qualities people had found detestable. He would manage to continue his battle strategy after taking down a few of them but then would think that he was strong enough to get a bit more reckless and started to move out of his cover more and more without taking pot shots as he moved. Esart would run out of his shelter behind one of the many pillars in the area and attempt to get closer to his enemies in order to use another spell on them but as he did a spell would fire aimed at him with a speed that he was not ready for. The collision of his frame and the sniper-like water spell would cause his body to be flung across the floor and into a pillar nearby with his back colliding with the wall causing him to let out a gasp from the pain of slamming into the wall as hard as he did along with the air from his lungs leaving his body. The sudden unwanted reaction to the attack would cause him to lose the mass of mercury he had built up along with dropping his grimoire near his body showing just how surprised he was for the spell to hit him. He would manage to quickly get up, grab his grimoire and move back behind the pillar he had collided with but this time with heavier breathing from what had happened.
He realized he had been pushed back by his enemy which angered him but his mind had been distorted due to his pride being shattered suddenly, putting him in his place. He had to come to terms on that before he moved any further as it reminded him of when he was locked away by his family for how much control he did not have over himself. His mind rushed with thoughts of just how much of an idiot he had been to get hit like that as his tactics were working so well up until then. "Idiot... Idiot... Control yourself and keep focus.. Don't let your arrogance overtake you..." He started to mumble to himself as he stood behind his cover. He knew he was lucky that his mana hide had managed to take the brunt of the spell but knew he could not take much more than that at all again. He managed to gather his thoughts fairly quickly then created more mercury that he could manipulate. He formed the mercury into the same bullet-like structure he had earlier to keep up his ranged tactics against his multiple enemies. He poked his head out while shooting off shots towards his enemies who had managed to get closer but he also noticed one of the disk-like water attacks from one of the enemies Lydia was fighting was quickly heading his way at a speed even faster than the one he was hit by earlier. Before he had time to move though he would realize that Lydia would attack the disk with her own magic in order to dispell it or destroy it. He would hear her voice call out to him after doing this which quickly caused him to focus up again. He could not allow himself to become a burden to her. "Got it, Lady Ravencrest." He would speak out then quickly get back into his tactic of using his cover wisely and moving in. With their lower numbers this time he would find it easier to get in as long as he stayed cautious unlike his earlier self had done.
As he found himself getting closer to the daemon that had managed to hit him he would continue to take more shots at it and the others. He would hide for a longer time than he had earlier with the daemons taking shots at the pillar over and over with their eater spells but he planned for them to get curious or arrogant like he had earlier. If they reacted as such Esart would wait for them to attempt to move in more and more on his position before suddenly poking out from the pillar with a barrage of shots heading towards his enemies. This was done intentionally to get them to move in a predictable way causing them to create some sort of opening for him to exploit and his focus would be completely on the enemy that had hit him earlier. He would have manipulated his mercury in order to form a whip-like construct out of it and then use that to quickly attack the daemon who had managed to hit him. The whip was meant to tear into the daemon and would extend out in order to do so. His anger had caused him to focus on his tactics more which was the only saving grace from him taking such an attack from earlier. After his attack he would quickly move into cover again where he would see the humans who had the coral on their bodies again. They would not look very well at all as some were beaten and battered badly. "Lady Ravencrest, lets make quick work of these annoyances! Those people need our help as soon as possible!" He would yell out from behind cover. He knew that she had already thought about that but he felt he should say it all the same as if she may not have noticed the others near them yet with the constant fighting she was engaged in until then.

Hinotas words had their own way of putting things, but it was just as intense. A commoner cannot typically afford such luxuries like a gardener, this had lead Joseph to seeing what weeds could do in a plant area more than once. It may have been a term for wild plants, but it also referred to plants that came from a different location. Their old home was it's own unique system, just like many locations for plants. In it's new location, it starts to kill off the other plants and multiplying at a rapid rate. Those weeds could be used in a number of cooking recipes, but needed to be removed even if you didn't want to cook with them. Without their removal, every other plant was more than likely to slowly die out, suffocated by the outsider. Was the maps music a tune of suffocating incoming death? Was that why it sounded so chaotic? Each of the sounds made a musical beat, but it was like they were all trying to play different songs. The music would continue to play from his spell until the spell was over. Had the peach colored person stopped using reverberation yet? He wasn't planning to stop using it until he was sure there was no use to doing so anymore. Was there a such thing as suffocation by sound? Would it all return to normal after all the madness was cleared and gone? The sound was confusing and disorienting, but that wasn't really the same.
Honestly? It didn't matter that her response to his words had been a bit late. With all the chaos going on just to try to save the two civilians, it was understandable that chats couldn't go on normally, if at all. Joseph had already given up on responses by that point. Hearing Naxel talk to him next was a bit weird. Did he really do all that good? Not at all. The young man didn't want to hear words like that, it sounded more half like an attempt at assuring him than it did honesty. Cobborn wanted to disagree verbally, but no sound came out when their lips moved. Every time he tried to talk vocally and nothing came out, it was a bit demotivating. The peachy person grit his teeth a bit, feeling frustrated with themselves for a brief bit. Their hands started moving, speaking silently for him, “Please don't patronize me sir, I can't even stay calm enough to talk.” What usefulness had he delivered? Made a map that more than likely anyone else could make something similar of, or something even better. Not vomiting wasn't exactly a way to help. Not being able to speak vocally slows or stops verbal communication with him, depending on the minute. But Blake had done what he couldn't, damage the creatures that had been setting up for an attack. It was looking like he and Willow would finish them off too, which was a good thing.
Cobborn felt a bit defeated by his own inexperience and spells, but what else could he do? Giving up wasn't even in the back of their mind as an option. He took a deep breath before looking back to the map. Were the vanished enemies really gone? Were there others? Maybe if they were gone and there was a boat nearby...? But no, there wasn't any boats nearby. This made sense, as the city wasn't exactly supposed to be under water, just like the hill shouldn't have dead bodies. Should he stop using this spell...? Their pale peachy pink eyes ended up briefly focusing on the horribly mutilated bodies. After that, the soft irises glanced their sights on the two injured that Hinota was treating. Her suggestion to Naxel made sense. The two injured still needed to be moved and their group was temporarily stranded.
