The courtyard of the Countryside Beaulieu home was well maintained, the shallow water pool was large, a si guard fountain shot water up into the air and maintained the near clear waters perfection thanks to its enchantments. A shirtless Yugo danced through the very shallow water, the water barely reaching over the souls of his feet, yet from a top down perspective the pool looked infinitely deep and even more so clear.
He practiced his sword fighting as well as his magic, each movement was like a dancers. His feet expertly placed in the perfect place to maintain a flow. Despite what most would thing given his life, Yugo has found no difficulty in using his body now that he finally can control his magic. To be the child of a once famous Knight, whos magical skill with glass would rival any artists hands and skill in true beauty. Yugos mother was not born a Beaulieu, bit she was the living embodiment of its ideals.
In the house was two portraits of his parents. His father looked inward, away from the windows. His eyes were better suited for it, as he had been a member of the Purple Orca. But his mothers looked outward, a large window let the light shine on her features. Yugo had insisted to his uncle that the window had to be made of the purest glass, with no imperfections. His uncle had agreed without any issue.
Yet as Yugo trained and existed each day in this house, he could not bring himself to feel worthy enough to call it his own. A boy with brittle bones, having lost everything, felt that he of all people did not deserve the life he had. Yet he also understood that if it had not been for the life he was born into, he would have never gotten to this point. He may have died as an infant had it not been for the diligent and loving care his mother had put into him.
His father had continued to work as a magic knight, as a way to afford a search for something to cure his sons magic. But his mother sacrificed everything for him. She left the Knights, and resigned herself to live just as he did, secluded in this country home. For that he could never repay her.

[attr="class","ardereescroll"]Inhaling sharply, smoke filled the fire mage's lungs through a cigarette as a vessel. Exhaling deeply, smoke twirled into the open breeze of the Common Region. Winter was upon the Clover Kingdom now. Ardere had missed the cold this past year--more than he cared to admit. A thin line of fur separated the chilling steel of armor from his skin, something he had adopted from his former mentor; Lysander. A dark red cloak fluttered in the obnoxious wind with the Crimson Lion symbol embroidered upon it in clear view. A titanic man stood in the cold dirt, crouched down to gaze upon inhuman tracks. He was tracking someone, no some thing. [break][break] Truth be told Ardere found himself in the Common Region on a private affair; tracking Daemon Cultists and the spawn they summoned. This was a venture approved by the Wizard King himself; Jagen Lavender. None in the squad were aware of his true purpose out here, but rather they assumed their Captain had been called away on Nobleman or Order business. That was not exactly untrue, however his goal here was to acquire evidence of a Cult headquarters. Truth be told, he did not believe that there was a headquarters. His working theory relied on the idea that they were nomadic in nature; constantly moving from place to place. Whether or not he was correct had yet to be seen. [break][break] The Captain found himself awfully close to the countryside. He needed a break. There were contacts and Noble families he could reach out to in efforts to aid himself. Ardere needed a good bite to eat before that and perhaps even a nap. Having been out in this Region for two days now, his sleep was little to none. When the Kasai ended up fixated on something it was nearly impossible to stop himself. His conviction and determination were unwavering, yet that could end up being his downfall. If he found himself in combat without proper rest or nourishment, then he surely was in trouble. Finding a small tree to rest his head out just outside some nice Noble Estates, the Captain fell into a light sleep. Still adorning his crimson and gold trimmed armor, there was not a care in his mind other than slumber and dreams of his home--always his home. Even the cigarette that lay in his hand was now extinguished in the dirt. The slumbering dragon inside his body ensured that he was warm. Salamander always protected him. In his sleep he dreamt of his squad. The Lions and his family, they were what mattered most to him. Protecting them was why he risked himself out here after all. Always them.
As Yugo danced and trained, each movement splattered water that quickly returned to the magic pool. His icy blue eyes focused on an enemy only he could see, an illusion of his own making that tried to kill him like a true enemy would. Yugo trained in this way every time. Born to an age of hard earned peace, if that could be called the truth, the young magic knight worried if he would ever see battle like that.
He paused for a second as he felt a strange warmth nearby. It was like an oven, but it was warm, and homely. The pale young man turned to look only to find that instead of the warmth he thought, he was staring at some inhuman creature. It hadn’t even noticed him yet, but it had slowly made its way into the inner court yard despite not seeming to have eyes.
The creature was inhumanly tall and its fingers were like boney extensions instead of usable fingers. The creature stood up and seemed to sniff the air. The strange fleshy face opened like a flower. Yugos body activated before his mind had, even processed what was happening. The glass mage was already mid leap as he slashed the creature with the training sword, which was thankfully a fully usable blade. The silver steel slashed deeply as the creature suffered a terrible blow to its petal like face. The creature flailed wildly, causing Yugo to back away before a large, but shallow cut opened on his bare shirtless chest. The blood sprayed out and Yugo looked down sharply before dodging to the side as the creature moved so quickly the only reason Yugo was able to dodge was his superior sensory skill compared to most mages his age. He barely had dodged the cannonball like creature, and was stunned to see it was already regenerating from the blow Yugo had dealt it. But it had seemingly forgotten him very shortly after removing itself from the wall it had imbeded itself in. It seemed to…sniff the air for lack of a better word, Yugos eyes watching as its focus shifted from him to the fountain his mother had made. The creature roared loudly, almost as if it was…happy. It raised its arm, and the fingers turned into massive blades as it prepared to destroy Sylas fountain.
Any one nearby would be able to feel the sudden massive shift in mana as Yugos magic flared hard. He dashed forward and severed the beasts arm from its shoulder with one clean cut. It roared wildly and fell to the ground flailing in agony. But just as quickly as before its arm was regenerating, the severed limb turning to dust as Yugo now stood above the creature, glass shard surrounding Yugo as his icy blue eyes stared daggers into the creatures soul. The creature roared and rushed at Yugo again, slashing at the air with its claws. The wind pressure was invisible, but having experienced it first hand, he was able to dodge it by running along the wall, which was tall enough that the creatures head was viewable only, but the sounds of battle echoed through the country side as Yugo dodged as best he could.
He was lucky the first blow had been so shallow, if the creature had put any more effort into the attack Yugo would have been cut in two.
He ran past a section of wall and the stone exploded outward from the creatures blow, the pressure wave sent Yugo flying. But as he slide to a stop the creature turned back to the fountain to try to destroy it.
“DON’T YOU DARE!” The young Beaulieus rage grew as he ran toward it, leaping over its head and lopping it off with ease. The creatures body dropped lifeless to the ground, twitching as it died. Yugo fell to knees coughing up blood. He had let his emotions out too much, his control of his magic was directly tied for the moment to his health, he coughed up blood into his hand as behind him two shadows slowly rose the creature had no only grown a new head, but the old head was now growing its own body. Yugo turned to look at the beasts and he struggled to stand up before falling to his knees again. The creatures however were now fully focused on him.
“Heh…so you are a living creature… otherwise you’d continue doing what you had planned…” he slowly stood up as the strange lanky creatures slowly made their way to him their flower like heads fully open exposing all the teeth and strange eye like organs inside. Yugo simply smiled as he struggled to stand, he would make sure to make what ever they were trying to do as hard as possible.

[attr="class","ardereescroll"]Wake up, Ardere. Wake up. You cannot dream yourself into death's cold embrace. [break][break] Jolting awake, the fire mage nearly sprang to his feet. The feeling of weightlessness and free-fall sent his entire body into a shock of panic. How long had he been asleep? Perhaps minutes or hours, he was unsure. This did not matter as it was not his primary concern now. His new concern was the mana spiking in the distance near one of the Noble Estate within his field of view. A chilling darkness crept along his spine. Something dark lurked in the trees here. What was it? [break][break] Breaking into a sprint, mana fueled his veins as his speed drastically increased. Muscles pulsating with magic and strength, his legs carried him as fast as he could. While it may have been easier to utilize one of his flight spells that would cause too much of a spike in mana. The element of surprise was required here, so whatever was on the prowl would be unable to sense his presence until it was far too late. Being a mage of his stature and power made this difficult but not impossible. [break][break] Running across the soft grass into the area the estates were located, Ardere was overcome with memories. It had been far too long since he went on a mission like this by himself. As a Captain he was usually at the squad base unless a truly perilous mission required his level of expertise. While the danger was real he also felt a sense of thrill he thought he had lost. Even so, the Kasai leapt over a fence with intensity in his eyes. The Ki coming from whatever this beast was made it easily to track, yet he felt the power coming from it. [break][break] Cape fluttering in the wind, Ardere landed on the scene. Summoning forth four blazing swords from his grimoire, he slid past the beasts and swiftly executed them. Slicing the Daemon to pieces, it seemed like child's play for a mage of his level--or was it? He now began to notice the Daemon piecing themselves back together as the pieces multiplied one after the other. Regeneration on this level should not be possible for a low level beast. What had this cult created out here? The scene was so intense, he had almost missed the mage standing just a few meters from him. If you can fight, defend yourself but you must move backwards now. Forming the blazing swords nearly the size of a full grown man into a shield, they protected them for the time being. His mana was blazing around his muscular form like a wildfire but there was caution in his eyes. Normally he would have introduced himself, but times were dire and there was no time for such formalities. [break][break] We need to draw them somewhere secluded. Do you know a place? The creatures lunged at the two mages but were swiftly stopped by the Arsenal of Flame he had summoned forth. What had once been two Daemon now was many, circling them. Ardere would not be able to defend them for long without endangering both the Estate and the other man beside him. They needed to act quickly.
Yugo had been ready to accept his death at the hands of the strange creatures. He knewcby himself he wouldn’t have beat one, but now with two of them…he resigned himself to death before standing up, his mana skin returned to strength. He sliced the air as he prepared to fight, before suddenly and with a flurry of fire, the creatures were divided into cubes of meat.
Yugo now stood next to the very captain of the Crimson Lions. The burning blades having transitioned into a protective fire wall. As the creatures circled the fire, Yugo drew himself to behind the captain as he was asked. “If the estate must burn to stop this enemy Captain Ardere then my family will have no issue with its destruction!” but just as the creatures surged forward they suddenly stopped. The shattering of glass could be heard as the magical fountain shattered. A cloaked figure stood holding the crystal in their hand. Black tar like liquid pooled around the individual’s demonic feet. The dark purple crystal pulsated as a dark purplish cloud leaked out and consumed the fleshy monsters before returning to the crystal.
“Finally! Do you know how long I’ve been looking for this thing? To think it was in a fountain in the common realms.” He tossed it back and forth like a jugglers ball. “Ill ask you two stay there, let’s talk. Especially you Ardere, you stubborn bull.”
He jumped up onto the wall and sat, inky black tar dripping from his feet every few seconds. The figure smiled, completely ignoring Yugos existance. “do you know how many weeks you’ve been fucking up my plans Ardere? Huh? I havnt been able to sleep more then 2 or 3 hours each night because of you, so I want an answer… what do you know about my plans.?”

[attr="class","ardereescroll"]You may not take issue with it, but I'm trying to turn a new leaf here. A devilish smirk crossing his pale lips, Ardere could not help but smile even in a perilous time. His squad had a bad habit of causing destruction to property and he was making an attempting at changing that--it wasn't going so well. He was still trying though. [break][break] The Captain's eyes widened. Two of his suspicions had been confirmed; the cult was in fact operating here and they were looking for an object. This relic or powerful item was here of all places. Ardere's stance widened as his eyes filled with smoldering flames and blazing conviction. Commanding the swords to orbit himself and the white haired mage, his gaze was fixed on the cloaked figure addressing him. That tar, it was familiar to say the least. Delving deep into his memory, flashes of Sosshi came back. The corrupt he faced there left a permanent stain in his mind. You've got a hell of a mouth on you, cultist. Why don't you come down here and we can talk this out some more? My kind of talking, not your lame villain's monologue. Antagonistically smiling to the cultist or whoever they were, Ardere's aura began to leak out of his muscular form like water from a tub. But this was no water, it was infuriating flames. [break][break] Break left, kid. He whispered to the young mage before addressing the figure once more. Here's a better idea. You tell me all of your plans and I'll tell you which parts I already knew. Sound fair? Commanding the swords to spiral, they spun with the intensity of a propeller to form a saw blade of pure fire. Melting the earth and sand beneath his feet, some of the minerals turned to glass before Ardere sent this saw blade of sorts towards his enemy, hurtling with destructive intent. Ardere needed a plan and quick. Things began to escalate far more swiftly than he had anticipated--and he had just woken up from his nap too.
Yugo heard the Captains mana road. The was no true sound, but his fragile glass soul was almost shattered by the depth of the Fire Mages roaring Mana and yet… the fire was so soft, and warm. It was as if he was being held again by his parents. A memory he did no consciously remember played in his mind, how his mother and father cradled him as an infant when his own body could not keep himself warm. A single tear unknown to Yugo appeared and dissapeared as steam once the Captains words touched his ear. He tapped the Captains back twice, and hoped the captain would realize it meant that Yugo would follow up the Captains attack with one of his own before he dashed off to the left and as he turned to dash and slice after the Captains attack, he was astonished by the pure power of the Captains Spell, and prepared a spell of his own, the magic flowing from him would be easily hidden by the Captains Spell. Yet still… Yugo felt uneasy. It was like he was being watched even though the man would have no way to see him from his current position. But something told Yugo instinctually that he was in grave danger if that man decided to attack him. But that only made Yugo more determined to do what ever he could to help Captain Ardere defeat the monstrous being before them. Even if he had to die to do so.
The Captains attack sailed forward and burnt the very air it hit, creating the smell of ozone despite not being an electrical spell. The Daemon possessed man smiled wide. So wide in fact that it appeared like he had the mouth of a snake or serpent. It stretched from ear to ear as the Spell appeared to utterly decimate the man, and it burned through the wall turning it into molten stone and glass. But the man landed behind Yugo, unscathed and without even the look of effort on his part. But what could Yugo have expected? He was just a ant in a battle of gods. He reached out to try touch Yugo, whos body reacted so violently instinctually it actually fractured several of his bones as he spun around hard and fast, delivering a seemingly lethal blow, severing the man’s head and arm. But just as soon as he felt a wave of hope, his mind reminded himself that was no way a weakling like himself could have done it. He saw the reaction to late, and found himself kicked hard by the still living body. Yugo flew hard and fast into the wall opposite the daemon and adjacent to Ardere, his fragile body was kicked through the wall and was rendered unconscious and on the verge of death.
The cloaked man lowered the hood on his cloak, followed by the cloak disappearing. The creature could easily pass for human. Except for his snake like smile.
The Daemon stood as the disappearing cloak revealed his true outfit. Wearing a strange spell paper on his face the man’s head was covered in golden blond straight locks of hair that were cut short. He wore a dulled, golden yellow foreign robe and pants. The creature balanced on single plank wooden saddles with ease, his toes no longer leaking tar like mana, they now appeared untrimmed and darkened by heavy bruising. But they weren’t damaged. It was as if his hands and feet were already starting to rot, but had stopped half way through. His head and arm were bubbling and regrowing, but it was obvious he was showing off for Arderes sake, even the cut spell tag regenerated as if it was part of his body
He smiled and placed a black hat on his head that tied itself under his chin. It was obvious, every part of his appearance was part of his body, magically enhanced and corrupted by the daemons powers. Yet each also felt slightly different.
He removed a pipe from his inner sleeve. The only non flesh item he carried it seemed. The crystal he had been holding was no where to be seen.
“Well…that brat has some balls.” The crystal lay an equal distance between the two godly beings. Held in Yugos unconscious hand like a vice. “He’s good… smart. If I could collect him to.” He sighed almost…sad? But he took a deep drag of the pipe, causing smoke to be formed despite their seemingly being nothing to burn and no source of ignition. The area immediately was filled with the putrid stench of Tar. It filled the air and even helped Yugos snap back to the waking world like smelling salts would. He lay very still, he could feel the damage almost instantly and knew better then to attempt physically moving.
The creature smiled at Ardere. “Now that the Child is asleep, the grown ups can talk. You should join me you know, I promise I have only the best intentions. With your help Ardere, we can repair whats been broken.” If Ardere gave him a look, or answered, he would answer him with a happy tone. “Help me undo the Shatter, even if its just me and you we can end this fake world and return to the one we belong to. Help me, help me rid this world of these worthless fakes. Don’t you miss your old life? Your real friends? Your real squad? The people in this world are nothing but fakes, so it doesn’t matter if they die. Besides... how many friends didn't make it to this world? How many close friends did you lose to this damn fakers world Ardere?"
Yugo listened quietly, keeping his energy low, just enough mana skin yo keel him alive, but not enough to cause him to be noticed. He was confused by what the creature said, Shatter? Other World? People being fakes? What was going on was beyond Yugos understanding, but he could only smile. Yugo spoke quietly, almost inaudible. “Captain Ardere…will never betray the innocent people in this world.”

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] [break][break]The young man was resilient--Ardere admitted that much. Resilience was a powerful virtue but it was not the only strength needed here. Sometimes there was a certain element of power required to deal with these threats, though admittedly he enjoyed Yugo's tenacity. The young mage would have made an extravagant Crimson Lion in another life. Countering the threat at hand was no easy task. Even with all his power and might, these Daemon managed to provide new challenges for him every day. Some days he wondered if he'd miss the challenge more than he yearned for peace. [break][break] Shit. This guy's fast. Ardere made a minor miscalculation. Whatever was powering this Daemon easily put him on a Greater Daemon level, meaning he was just under Arch-Daemon. The threat level had risen far above his expectations, so now he would take this fight far more seriously than before. Thick brows arched as fire began to engulf his muscular form. From head to toe he was encased in molten flame that hardened to an armor-like substance, prompting his hair to burst into flames. The Crimson King was awakened now. [break][break] Throwing a hand to the side, he summoned forth a dome of blazing sakura petals around the white haired mage. Inside this dome he was both protected and healed by the flames. Anything that attempted to touch it would suffer Grand level wounds. This would prevent the Daemon from touching the young man--for now. Unfortunately to sustain both this spell and the armor that now caused his muscles to pulsate with strength, he'd have to deactivate his Arsenal. It was no matter. His fists were the only weapon he needed right now as Grand level strength pulsed through his veins, sending out an aura that would collapse most low level mages. His Intimidating Aura ability had now been activated, though a Daemon of this level would not fall prey to it, it would certainly feel the effects in its bones. The striking determination exuded from Ardere was a flame of its own. [break][break] Ardere's teeth began to grind, providing a most uncomfortable a crunching sound. The Daemon's words cut through his pride like a knife and he felt a long lost sense of pain. True, he had lost friends. But now he had found his strength once again. So while he hesitated--he would not again. You keep your filthy hands off of him. Glaring directly at the blonde Daemon, he scowled. It seems like you guys just don't get it. This world is the real one. My friends, even the ones who passed on still live in me today. And the people who changed...they're still the people they once were, but now they're something more. We're all something more. This world will be better than the old one. I'll make it so. He paused a moment before a devilish smile crept over his lips. Spit all of this silver tongued talk you want. It won't get you anywhere. Utilizing all of the strength in his body, he kicked off at such an intense speed that he'd be in front of the Daemon within the blink of an eye. Talk with your fists instead. He said as he dished out a flurry of punches towards his enemy, each of which were packed with enough titanic strength to shatter the earth beneath their feet. It was no mere mortal he was facing--this was the Crimson King.
The warmth that rolled over Yugos body was so nice and relaxing that it would almost put him to sleep. But his spirit would not let him fall asleep. He grasped the crystal close to his chest as his broken body was repaired by the fire. He struggled to stand as his body was healed, making it easier as he saw Ardere and the Daemon fight, the ground in the courtyard shattered with each blow as the Daemon expertly blocked each and every blow with a strange foreign martial arts. The paper sigil covering its face was blown out of the way revealing the hollow hole that took position where his nose and eyes would be. Yugo knew he was facing the side of the courtyard that would have led to the forsaken realm.
As the fight really started with the Daemon seemingly unscathed launched a counter flurry of sharp odd strikes, Yugo burst through the dome of petals and ran away toward the forsaken realm. He was closer to that realm then to the kingdom and knew that by being close to the captain he was not only making it harder on him to fight, but it also made it less likely for the Daemon to be able to regain the crystal. But as he ran, a figure slammed into the ground from above him, a massive muscle bound body without any head and only sharp blades for hands swipped at the silver haired mage, taking his hair off by half, but thankfully Yugo was faster if only by a little. He gripped the crystal tighter not realizing it was growing closer to his body temperature.
The headless body chased after him and did not give him a chnce to relax and regain his breath. But Yugo didn’t mind the chase, his body hurt but his spirit did not break. The main Daemon smiled as he used his hand to stab at Arderes chest, but faked the followthrough as he twisted his hand and cause tendrils of tar to explode out from under arderes feet and attempt to engulf him in the sticky substance. “Your friends died trapped in hell, suffering in their final moments as our universe sits stagnant! Do you not pity them?! do you not wish to save them?! How many of our world never made it here? How many innocent people are you okay with dying Ardereeeeee!?” the tendrils if possible would completely cover Ardere and attempt to snuff out his firey soul.

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] [break][break] Ardere unleashed a ferocious flurry of blows upon an enemy strong enough and experienced enough to narrowly dodge. This was no ordinary cultist or Daemon he was engaged with. The powers meddled with here were beyond comprehension, perhaps even a part of this "Grand plan" Malacath and Sven had boasted about. Aiming to shatter that plan to pieces, the Kasai held nothing back now. There was no sense in holding back against this enemy, especially one who was so powerful. Blocking the counter strikes thrown his way, he let some of them batter his mana skin on purpose. The Daemon likely would not understand his goal, but as the devilish smirk appeared on his maw the Kasai began to transform himself once more. [break][break] Wings burst from the back of the fire mage as Salamander began to stir inside him, a light appearing from his torso to reveal a small dragon within his body. The sight was almost off-putting, but it was merely a demonstration of strength. Not time for that just yet, but we can take a step closer. Ardere did not enter his spirit dive, but he did activate one of his most powerful spells: Ryujin. Skin turned to crimson scales and as the massive wings burst from his back, nails turn to claws sharp enough to cut steel. The Crimson King utilized Transformation magic to become a Dragon-like humanoid with piercing yellow eyes. His speed had drastically increased beyond his normal capabilities. Now that Yugo had left his Healing spell, he could deactivate it to activate this one. Titanic strength and speed combined, aura oozed from him like a river of flame and ferocity. Less talking Daemon. More fighting. So shut your foul mouth and return to the Abyss you belong! [break][break] Kicking off from the ground, Ardere aimed to tackle the cultist into the outskirts of the Noble settlement here in the Common Region. He wanted to take the fight further into the Forsaken Region where they could truly go at it. His gargantuan strength and speed would likely make this possible, as is dragon-like form was impressive. This was how he caught the attention of Salamander after all. Unfortunately he worried about Yugo. He could only hope the young mage held his own long enough to let him finish this, or even finish the other foe himself. They were both engulfed in battle now, with fighting for their lives as the only option left to them. Mention my friends again and I will make your entrance to Hell even more painful than it's going to be. That I can assure you. He spat at the enemy with anger and malice that only a truly pissed off Ardere could conjure. Swirling through the air, he attempted to slam his opponent into the ground with enough force to shatter the earth beneath them and shake the nearby residences. His claw grip would sink into cursed flesh with a grip that few could break. Ardere's aura strengthened as his intensity grew. Soon the entire Region would feel his might.
The Daemon laughed as the Dragon-like man charged him, only to be met head on as the Daemon discarded its human appearance and transformed into a heavily armored ram like form. Metal horns twisted from its metal helm, yet it was easy to tell the metal was the daemons flesh. He blocked the attack of Ardere, but the force still carried them arching across the sky like a blazing comet. Yugo was distracted by the arching flame and nearly lost his head for it as the headless daemon continued its attacks. The Main Daemon laughed and with its other hand it used a strange form of magic, one that Ardere would recognize as a strange combination of darkness and time magic that ate away at the Dragon-like armor when his hand touched Arderes Scales. The push seperated the two and the Daemons metal head smiled. It was obvious the Daemon had multiple magics that it could use, but the darkness like one was the bodies original.
The Daemon landed, and sped off towards Yugos location. The crystal that Yugo held was the Daemons goal and unless Ardere kept him away, there was no way Yugo would survive. The streaking black star sped its way toward the young Glass mage, who was already running out of what little Mana he had left. Using a form of communication spell, the Daemon spoke with its true voice for the first time in Arderes to be heard over the roaring wind. “As always Ardere, You have let yet another Potential Hero die a young and painful death!” the voice was… wrong, Familiar in all the wrong ways that only the voice of a loved one now lost could be seen as wrong. The Daemon would reach Yugo before Ardere unless he boosted his speed again. With its mighty Dark Blade, the sound of shattered Glass could be eard.
The battle field would fall into a hush, as the Daemon lost its smile, while Yugo gained one. He had sensed the coming attack, actually he thought, the crystal had screamed out to him in warning. The young glass mage was certain that the crystal had given him just enough time. As the Daemons strange metal goat mouth opened in a scream of anger so raw and powerful it shook the very air and ground around them as what magic had been trapped in the crystal dissapeared and a long crimson line appeared on yugos chest before exploding into a scarlet spray of blood. The daemons scream was met with the whispered words of the young mage.
“You…lost,” the young mage smiled before falling on his back, the life quickly fading from his pale and already weak body. With his weakened mana and his weak body, Yugo would not survive long without magical healing. But as his eyes began to lose their ability to see from the sheer bloodloss he couldn’t help but smile happily. ‘At least…I can die like mother and father…protecting others…who cannot protect themselves.’ and with that final thought, Yugo slipped into the unconcious world. The large headless daemon lumbered forward as the goatheaded Daemon shook with pure blinding rage before attempting to grab Yugos body with the same magic that had decayed and stripped away the scales it had touched on Ardere.

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] [break][break] Red. Crimson red like a river of blood flowing through stained lands. [break][break] This was all Ardere could see as the Daemon made its way over to Yugo, malice and murderous intent pouring from it. The Crimson Lion Captain swiftly recovered, pulling an insurmountable will from deep inside. The young man had been injured severely. Mere moments from death, his life lay in the Crimson King's hands. All it took was once spell, one simple activation to change the course of fate. Not anymore. [break][break] In a white flash, the Kasai shot forward towards the Daemon. Within the blink of an eye, he appeared before Yugo. His form pale white like a blinding sun and pulsating with power. This was his Archmage spell; Amaterasu's Blessing. The flames that he chose to exude from his body now shown white and pale, sparkling across his muscles. All impurities burned away with the King's Flame, white a holy. The mana coming from him could be felt across the Region as his healing power was enough to heal loss of limbs and major organs instantly--and he did so to Yugo. With strength comparable to a Titan, he kicked off to attack the Daemon. White flames and Godly strength, one punch would be enough to level a small mountain. But what awaited this Daemon was not a singular punch--it was a flurry of uppercuts. These strikes shattered the earth and sent spirals of wind like tornados into the skies. Shaking the Heavens with his might, this was the apex of Ardere's fire magic. While he was not in spirit dive, he did not need it when the King's Flame burned away this Daemon ultimately. [break][break] Assuming Yugo was healed in time with his enhanced Archmage capabilities, he would help the young man stand up. Come on. I've got you. He'd never be too slow to save an ally ever again. Not after the Forgotten Tower. Not ever. His will carried him this far, and it would take him a little further. Ardere simply needed to reach out and grab the hand of fate. Taking a breath, his white cleansing flames continued to heal Yugo. Any previous injuries even from years past would now heal. Tendons and ligaments would repair. He'd even feel well rested. This was not only an Archmage Healing spell, but it was produced by a Master Healer. Some said that in a pinch and with strong will, spells like this could snatch one from Death's cold grasp. Ardere had yet to prove this true, but he felt the power inside himself. Perhaps not all legends were just legends.

The daemon was unprepared for the beating it recieved, the black and steel armor melted and burned away before the punches even connected. He didn’t even see Ardere moving. But even as the Damage was done, and his body Melted into ashen steam, the Daemon didn’t lose his smile as his mind transfered to the sliver of his own body hidden far away, half of his power remaining in his original body as the darkness was burned away by the purifying light. The body of Arderes former ally was not free from the daemons control, and before it burned away the face was left with a twisted contorted smile. It was one last jab at the mans heart and was one final insult. The other Daemon approched in a mindless attack, only to turn to less then ash as he got near Ardere.
Yugos would Healed, and impurities were expunged. But the thing that entered his body from the Glass Diamond was not impure, in fact, it was as pure as possible, though what purity it was was questionable as Yugo found himself in a void of nothing but pure light, which faded as he awoke in what appeared to be a blackened void. The figure stood before him cloaked in a light sheet with golden accents on the edges, but its face was obscured.
‘so you are her child…To think I would finally meet you after so many years. But you cannot stay here yet, go and live boy. Your story is not done here.’ the figure held out a hand as Yugo tried to speak, but onyl found himself forced back into the waking world as he gasped and spat up the blood in his mouth. Despite the healign powers, an angry scar was left where the killing blow ahd been placed, though it quickly dissapeared as the last of the flames died away fully healing his body.
