The gathering was over quite quickly for something that was suppose to be a big deal. Thought Yemir wouldn’t complain as the quicker they all separated the less likely the meeting would be discovered. The secret agent of darkness as Yemir was mentally calling the person gave them some task to get some documents without being seen or causing alarm and if you did you might be welcomed into something or other. Overall Yemir hadn’t been paying attention to the task because she was to busy studying the rest of the Rogues gathered, she didn’t personally know any of them beyond get a slight feeling of knowing them all from somewhere. They had probably all at one point or another passed one another on the streets and now they were all here. It was an interesting set of circumstances to say the least.
After realizing the were being told to head out and complete said task and they could group up no bigger then 3 people Yemir decided that she would look around and see if there was anyone worth teaming up with. After a bit of searching Yemir realized that Mania was here and with that in mind decided to head over to him following them out of the meeting place and trying to see if they want to go at this task together.

The duo walked into the bar like establishment, and there was nice headcount of others that arrived before them. It was easy to make the assumption from his point of view that these were also rogues who've heard about this...come together. From the people that were already that were already there no familiar faces, and none of his siblings were here either. A small sigh of relief escaped his lips when none of his brothers or sisters were here, not that it would stop him. It would just make things more annoying, right now it wasn't the time to involve his family in this. Not until he knew allot more about what this was going to be. Aeila seemed to be onboard with this as well, she didn't say much but her four words were more than enough. Aeila wasn't big on speaking at all if not asked to, but he did often wonder what was truly going in her head.
But her demeanor had changed once she spotted someone familiar, which caught him off guard. As in his mind Aeila knew no one outside of K and him, but it all made sense when she spoke the words 'older brother'. Aeila's previous home was very similar to his own, but with the lack of a family setting even a completely dysfunctional one like his. Jin looked towards where Aeila was motioning discreetly as to not give anything away, and just as quickly shifted his eyes else where. His mind was racing with endless questions and possible outcomes. Was her brother just like her? Not raised to read or write? Was he following her? Was he here to bring her back home? How dangerous was he? And more importantly did she want to leave with him to go back home? Already things were proving to be complicated and they literally just stepped foot inside this place.
Despite the situation Aeila did a good job of calming herself, Jin softly placed his hand on her shoulder to reassure her that he was aware of what she was talking about. It was clear from her reaction she did not like her brother, and probably did not want to leave with him. Which could mean her brother was willing to bring her back by force. But if Aeila truly wanted to go back home, Jin would not stay in the way of that. It just meant their time together was coming to an end. They both took a seat, Jin's face was completely normal but his mind was racing. But luckily enough a familiar distraction came in. It was the light boy.
It seemed he didn't change much at all. Jin didn't know him well at all, but he still seemed as flamboyant as that one time they met. And not really thinking about his actions or choices and the consequences they would have. Jin wasn't going to judge him to harshly for it though, Echo seemed to live his life in accordance to his own rules and didn't bother to follow others. Which was fine, almost commendable. Given the lives that a rogues lives, many people from the outside viewed them this way. As people that don't follow rules. But unfortunately this was not the case there was rules to be followed, if not they could lead to very unfortunate circumstances. And a simple discussion with a bartender could have disastrous results.
But soon after that things were finally going to start, a cloaked figure in all black and ornate mask made it's appearance. If Jin's eye's weren't deceiving him this was one of the Agents of Avarice. Jin was quite fond of the way they operated, though he didn't know much about them they were efficient and endlessly mysterious. He wasn't looking to pry either, he admired the mystery behind them. But it seemed they had a hand in what this Eclipse Raven was. The agent had mentioned they were here out of the request of the Black Markets benefactor. That meant leader, so there was someone in charge of it all. But the question Jin had was how much control of the Black Market did this person have? It most have been allot for the Agents to be working for them. A small smile was on his face, even though some people in the room were already annoyed that the 'leader' themselves did not come and greet them. This was the most logical move in his opinion as the leader of a such an organization will not show face so easily. The more and more he was learning, the more he was admiring how things were being handled. Already Jin was thinking this Eclipse Ravens was not a simple joke, but perhaps the real deal. But only time will tell.
He continued to listen without fail, a bigger smirk appeared on his face though as Echo was warned for his earlier actions. His smirk wasn't because of he liked to see the guy getting yelled at, but just because it was an overall funny situation. But he hoped Echo had learned something from this and didn't just ignore it, for the agents words spoke true. Now everyone in the room knew who he was, where he came from and whom his allies were and his family. That is not information people in their field should be willingly giving out so easily. Jin did catch the reaction from Aeila's brother calling him an 'idiot peacock', that was a peculiar nickname. Not one to be given out unless they had prior interactions, which given his reaction did not end well. Jin didn't consider Echo an enemy but he wasn't an ally either, they spoke of working together in the past. But considering Echo's demeanor that was highly unlikely. If he did end joining this organization somehow, he might prove more of a liability then a asset.
The agent continued laying out the details of the why this was happening and what would be requested of them. They were to get into the Royal Capital and obtain any useful information that is not yet known to the public and return back here before sunset tomorrow. This was very interesting to Jin. Why useful information from the royal capital? That could only mean getting particular information on magic knights or the royal family themselves. Was this organization trying to stir the pot on the magic knights themselves? Reveal things about them the public would not tolerate? Or was the Royal family hiding something as well. Nevertheless the motivations of this leader could start to be seen, Jin just couldn't pinpoint it. He himself had no quarrel with magic knights or the royal family, at least not yet. Things were definitely starting to get interesting. The agent even had some information on the numbers of enemies to be expected. But if things went well, no enemies needed to be engaged as Jin saw it. This wasn't a search and kill order, but a gathering of information so combat could be avoided and that would be his aim. Get in get the information and get out. And once the agent was finished that was that, some of the people in the room said their peace and started on their way. Jin had no opinions on most of them, in the back of his mind he only wanted the strong and capable to work alongside against.
But it seemed the Agents words fell on Echo's deaf ears, as his response to such a criticism was lashed out anger. He stated that he was from a well known noble family that gives charity, and he would prove how superior he was to everyone in the room. Jin smiled again cause the light boy never failed to be amusing. The white haired rogue looked towards Aeila as her brother left, he made no movements to get up and leave yet as there was a time limit but no need to rush at this very moment. Instead he looked very relaxed and waited for everyone to leave. "So are you in?" he asked her simply in a gentle voice. Obviously there was other things that needed to be discussed about her brother situation and if that was a way to get her back home. But this question he asked would answer that as well, for if she answered no that meant to much was weighing on her mind at the moment and the brother problems needed to be addressed now and at current. If yes things for right now at least could continue as planned and her brother would be dealt with another time.
If she did answer yes, there was no reason to stay there any longer. The white haired rogue would look towards the Agent of Avarice if they were still there and simply nod in their general direction as to pay thanks for having them here. No words needed to be spoken right now, just simple acknowledgement. Jin if he was being honest was looking forward to what this all could end up being, whom was really in charge of the Eclipse Ravens? And what they were truly after? Hopefully things would align and this could end being a fruitful situation for all rogues interested. Things were changing.

The raven haired necromancer remained silent and still within her seat, the last thing she wanted was to draw attention to herself or Jin, neither of which had even gone towards the bar. She had taken note that pretty much everyone else had, that was their call but she knew that alcohol dulled the senses and mind, she wanted nothing to do with that kind of thing. She was proficient and something like that would just make her careless, there was that and she had never been allowed the stuff in the past so had no interest in it now. She was of course worried at seeing her brother, he would likely have been sent to take her home and where there was part of her that knew she would need to there was still that other part of her that was adjusting to her new life and freedoms that didn't want to.
She didn't really talk unless asked to do so, part of it was due to her upbringing but the longer she was away from home it was more due to the fact of her profession and her lack of articulation compared to others. Her speech hadn't shown any signs of improving and this frustrated her though she didn't show it. Her indigo eyes went to Jin for a moment before turning towards the door where a masked cloaked person was, she was surprised to see an agent of avarice standing in the middle of the room. They were articulate as always with a flourish of colourful words, soon enough they turned their attention towards Echo and his would-be attendants for lack of a better term. She and likely many others were already well aware that he had taken part in the magic knight exams only to be disqualified at the last hurdle.
It made his true colours show, he couldn't be trusted and he was more than a small liability. One that she could do without within her life, she sat and listened as the agent called him out on what he had just done and she already knew that he likely believed he had done nothing wrong which was yet another mistake on his part. Even if he was part of a noble family there were ways to hide in plain sight, it was essential in their line of work something Echo had yet to understand. Even if the bartender recognised him for whatever reason as it wasn't exactly like he was a well-known figure he could have played it off as a disguise, but now a bar filled with rogues had blackmail material on him and his entire family so he had just endangered their livelihood.
She closed her eyes for a moment as the public display of belittlement happened, she hoped that it would finally get it through his head just how dangerous this line of work was but she wasn't going to hold her breath. It was only when the details of the task at hand came up she opened her eyes and listened to his words, it wasn't exactly going to be an easy task for what was only a potential opportunity. It was a huge risk but the rewards could be equally impressive but it was a secret area within the royal archives no less and the area was quite heavily guarded with differing ranks of guards. The issue going in was they had to move an unknown area without causing an alarm to be raised or killing them while getting a piece of information and getting out, not impossible but it would be hard.
She remained quiet as each person said their piece and left towards the Royal Capital, she listened to her older brother's words, of course, he was as confident as ever. She shuddered ever so slightly as she remembered his confidence and what happened when she shattered it in training, she never wanted to feel that pain again but she knew it wouldn't be her call if and when she was returned home. She could only hope that her sins though not of her own doing would be forgiven, she had already come to realize when she was younger even if the fault wasn't hers she was always the one blamed and so had just accepted the punishment. Jin had been the first living person to show her true kindness, of course, he got frustrated from time to time due to her mannerisms but he had never once hit her, he was always patient.
Her eyes went to Echo as he once again lashed out "Liability." she said simply as she shook her head, she didn't think he was a bad person but shouldn't be messing in the darkness of the underworld, he was going to get himself and likely his family killed. She turned her eyes to Jin once more as he spoke "Difficult, not im... impo...." it was clear she was still struggling with her words but she was still trying, she just nodded to show that she was in and stood up. She felt frustrated she was still having difficulty with such words, she bit her lip for a moment now that she knew Ryoshi was around as now her new life was going to get much more complicated. She looked at Jin once more and covered her mouth with her hands indicating where she would answer questions not until they knew they wouldn't be heard.
With everything said and done she stood up next to Jin and smiled a little walking out of the tavern and into the darkness of the night, truth be told she was glad for it as the brightness of the tavern had been damaging her eyes. She knew she had to bear with it as showing weakness was yet another thing you couldn't do while swimming around other sharks. she had her own thoughts, she was anxious but for now, it all had to be pushed to the side, she wouldn't allow it to make them fail because even if she was being forced to return home after this, she wanted to make sure Jin passed. It was the least she could do to show him thanks for the kindness and understanding he had shown her as anyone else would have used her as a weapon or left her to fend for herself in a world she didn't really understand.

I can end and prolong the life of all, but I can't change the fate of those who fall. I can't turn back time once death has arrived...
Pink eyes fluttered open due to infiltration of light, a soft voice groaned in displeasure as a fair young girl rolled over, her mind foggy and her skin dampened from the morning dew of the grass. Luckily the night before she had made sure to protect most of her clothing, having wrapped herself in a black cloak. She yawned audibly, stretching out her limbs until she heard a small pop and felt the tense pressure release from her body. Today was the day, she had to continue onward, she had to keep trudging forward if she wanted to make it to the location. Aya, readied herself, brushing her hair, hiding her horns in her usual manner, bathing and clothing herself before munching on some of the last few of her rations which at this point was nothing more than bread, cheese, and dried meats that she kept wrapped in a small brown sack that was strapped to her waist, hidden beneath her cloak.
She made sure to hide the grotesque features of her horns with a magical hair clip that caused them to appear more pale, white, and long, more elegant, or at least as elegant as she could make them. However, she also decided that today she would wrap them in pink cloth and cover them with a hood that drooped over, covering both the horns the majority of her face, but leaving just enough space and opening for her mouth to be seen. She trudged forward, Aya had heard rumors of an organization rising from the shadows, and through research and information gathering using the last of what little wealth she still carried Aya was able to find out that, markings had been placed in certain towns in each region that only those in the darker side of the Clover Kingdom would understand. She had been in this area, in this underbelly with the rest of the heathens, thieves, and less than savory characters for over a year now. Taking her time to find out information, buying what she needed, doing odd jobs to get what she wanted, healing those for the extra coin here and there all while trying to keep her identity hidden from those that would view her with prejudice and do her harm.
Through word of mouth, a simple exchange of yul here and there, and some returned favors, Aya had found the meeting place, using the markings as her first clue and guidepost. She trudged along on foot, and though it took some time, it was easier than exhausting her mana with a broom, for now. Especially considering she had no transportation spells as of yet to even assist her in making her way easier. She supposed eventually she could use the broom she had tucked away eventually, and perhaps maybe one day she would be strong enough to once again use her true magic and power to create or discover a spell for matters. After all, it was her understanding that magic was born from need and talent, as opposed to wanting and yearning.
As she made her way to the meeting ground, Aya stood quietly, softly but ever attentive in the darkest corner that she could find. Watching as people came and went after listening to the person cloaked in black with a silver mask had spoken about. She figured she could benefit from what the black market's benefactors were trying to accomplish. However as the person spoke, Aya realized just what kind of situation she was in. There was no going back now, in fact, she figured she could only go forward, especially now being viewed as a liability. She had already died once and had no intention of letting it happen a second time. That meant all she could do was try and step her foot in the door to this new organization forming and recruitment path. As she glanced around the room she didn't have thoughts on others, in fact, she didn't care about them at all, she barely made notice of them making sure to listen to what the person giving out the information was saying first and foremost. This was probably a small oversight on her part but right now she needed to prioritize her thoughts. She was still recovering from her sleep after all and making sleeping on cold dirt, though comforting for her mentally, was hell on her body and energy.
To she realized that in order to join the Eclipse Raven she would have to take a great risk, but nonetheless, she realized that joining this group would possibly benefit her in ways she couldn't even fathom. It was because of this that Aya made her way out of the tavern after the task was given to her, only nodding in understanding, knowing that now she'd have to break into archives to get information on some of the Clover Kingdom's archives top mages, which told her that this organization meant business. So far she believed they were smart and clearly organized well enough to set this meeting and survive, but considering all the craziness that happened in the Clover Kingdom with daemons, wars, and such that they had been able to spread their influence deeper and deeper into the underground of the kingdom well enough to accomplish such deeds. With thoughts of a new path to take, Aya made her way out of the tavern, trailing after a few of the others, slowly but quietly as she stuck to the shadows as always in her dark cloak, desperately trying not to draw attention to herself, because she knew the risk of discovery for her, was all the higher than others around her simply for who she was and how she looked.
Today was the start of a new journey for Aya, a purpose, a reason to keep going, and a stepping stone for her to gain more strength. She wanted to take over this world with her own hands if only to make a small portion of it her own, for herself without the fear of prejudice or rejection. A place where she could be at peace and call home... For she knew the true hell was what waited beyond the veil of life, and that living was the true "heaven."

The doors opened and Ryoshi stretched as he entered the inn once more, it had taken a bit but he and another rogue who still was nameless had managed to obtain some serious dirt on the magic knights, of course the aura mage was a bit irritated they had run into a sleeping griffin while diving thru the archives but given that they were still alive and had all of their digits and limbs he considered it the job well done. Seeing the agent still waiting for them he approached them before pulling out the documents he had managed to obtain with Connor in the Royal Archives and put them on the table before them.”i returned just as I said and for the record it would have been nice to know that the knights keep a live griffin inside the secret part of the archives” he said his tone a bit annoyed at the end before he handed the agent the documents they had gathered, it was a decent stack and had the note still pinned to it as further proof.
“also I was not the only one that got these the young man with white hair and brown eyes accompanied and assisted me in retrieving these documents never learned his name though” he explained as he would wait for the judgment to see if he was good enough to be brought into the organazation, Ryoshi was sure he was good enough but he was not the one that got to decide that but he did hope that he would be at least considered since he had done the job and wasnt a raging idiot like the red haired peacock had been.
Connor entered with a slow gait, the way a person moves when they know many things. His eyes darted left and then right like a cat prowling, surveying the room for any one who felt like they deserved the details of his evening. He had lived to tell the tale, which in most cases was a blessing. Seeing a gryphon for the first time was certainly an experience, not being ripped apart by one was a high mark of his evening. The recommendable course of action was to seek refuge immediately, maybe it was paranoia, but Connor couldn’t help but feel as though every rogue in this place would kill him for what he knew. If they could have coaxed it from his lips, they wouldn’t need to do the work themselves, at least he wasn’t a loose end until pragmatism got the better of their benefactor. He had after all dived head first into retrieving what they had wanted to know, Connor was distrusting not delusional. This information really only frayed his nerves, if it could be of some use to anyone, he wanted and needed to find some way to resolve the way he felt. The people needed advocates, the military weren’t the only people in the kingdom, the church was dwindling in influence. Connor knew that the people of Clover needed people like him, a person who wasn’t going to leave a knife in your back over a bent penny. Someone who wouldn’t preach, but rather practise, practise until they were perfect. Whether it was picking a lock, or a pocket, it was of consequence if there was a hand at the ready. He steeled himself towards the task at hand and loomed forwards noticing Ryoshi had already arrived, now Connor had too. It was an arduous task but he stood to the right of him, quietly; almost meekly, assessing the agents demeanour. This was crunch time.

With the file made, and a clean set of clothes...Jorah walked back into that seedy bar and found the agent that told them about the job and delivered the agreed upon McGuffin. Neatly placed into an appropriate lock box with a key ”Did not want you to...misplace any of the materials you find here tonight, think of it as a charitable tax write off.” Jorah said as he walked away, placing his hands into his pockets he went to a nearby table and just as he did before...he ordered the same drink and cigar combo...but with a twist he ordered two servings so that way Mania, who expressed desire to try it could indulge...as well as a small beverage for Yemir should she show back up from her room that Jorah had paid for of course. He looked around at some of the faces that were there, not seeing a few that were there at the start of all of this...which was not odd considering the job that was given, but did they fuck it up for the rest of the rogues...and if so how much of a grudge would they hold? Oh well...those questions are best left for when the time comes. For now Jorah just took a drink of his liquor and lit the cigar before taking a long drag from the roll of tobacco. Its earthy scent would soon add to the atmosphere of the room.

With the task complete Jin walked into the same bar as earlier with the wrapped file under his arm tightly concealed. It was a dangerous mission Jin thought about it now in hindsight. Of course he always thought it was dangerous and if it weren't for the circumstances he probably wouldn't have done it. But it served as a nice test for him and Aeila. They were lucky enough to not have to engage with any of the enemies or the griffin in the room. He would guess future missions would probably be allot more dangerous, and would require more forceful actions.
The white haired rogue took the same seat he did before, and again ordered nothing to drink or eat. That was actually the last thing on his mind, now that they had the information that was asked for. Hopefully some answers of what this was all about could finally come. Jin was just hoping all the risk they just took was worth it.

With the task complete, Mania entered the shady bar, his hazel eyes surveying the room as he spotted Jorah seated at a nearby table. There were only a few people that had returned Mania noted as he approached the gentleman rogue and took a seat beside him. Atop the table was an extra drink and cigar, which the rogue assumed was Jorah's gift to him so he would take a long swig and light the fine cigar. A deep, long pull would have Mania feeling good as he leaned back in his chair. "That's definitely the good stuff, nothing like a fine smoke after a day of hard work~" Mania would coolly say as he turned to Jorah. Yemir had still yet to show, but hopefully, the girl would arrive soon, because she deserved to enjoy the fruits of their labor as well. There was still a little time left for others to return so Mania would just wait until the leader of the Eclipse Raven's would make their anticipated appearance.
"I gotta say we did good work Jorah. Perhaps we'll be doing a lot more in the future?"
Mania would say to Jorah, another pull of the cigar and swig would follow as he tried to relax. Word Count: 208 Total Word Count: 1,220 From Civil Unrest Word Count: 4,050 From Oceans 2 and a Half Total Word Count: 5,270

[attr="class","echotemp] As Echo, Aelia, and Jin would walk back to the bar just before they got to the door Echo would spark a cigarette. This was probably the longest he had been without one since he started smoking a few months ago. However the group would walk in and Echo would see Thalia and Zeus who he had left. Jin would take a sit with the folder of info tucked under his arm securely, so Echo knew it was in good hands for the time being. Echo would take a hit from his cigarette as he returned to his cousin and friend. [break][break] Zeus would ask “So what happened? Is everything ok?” To which Echo would respond by saying “I just got us all our ticket into the secret society, that’s what happened.” He would then let off a devilish grin towards his cousin before saying “Now lets just watch and see what happens next.” Before taking a final hit of his cigarette. It had been an uneventful walk back to Kikka, she had a lot on her mind as she knew her older brother would be so close. That he would have been sent to bring her home, to her cell and old life where she could barely see or hear what she considered her true family. She didn't want that now she knew that her life could be different, that she could play with her pixie sticks, learn with Fredrick, train with the guards and Jin while resting with the pack of howling moon. This was her life now, she could decide what tasks she took and which she would decline, she didn't have to worry about harsh punishments for minor infractions or no infractions. It really was a new world she had been born into and though she was scared she didn't want to give it up so easily.
before she knew it the trio had made it back to their starting point a few hours before dawn, her brother had already made it back but then he wasn't dealing with someone who thought that 'might was right' and there was no other power but that. She found it surprising that her brother was so critical of Echo as even he was quite the meathead at times. He was good at what he did but too often he let his emotions get the better of him especially when it came to her. For all his education, for all his training he was still second to her in this line of work and that was because this was all she knew. She still slightly flinched as she saw him but sat next to Jin awaiting what would be coming next all the while trying not to allow her mind to become troubled due to a future she would never allow come to pass if she could help it.
She sat in the same spot she had not bothering with the bar, the more people someone like herself conversed with the worse it could be. Like the Agent of Avarice said everyone had a price, it was just a matter of finding it and even if the barkeep was paid well if someone was to pay more then he could let his tongue loose. Then again, would it really be worth it for a few more yul when crossing the agents usually came with all but signing ones death warrant. She shook her head trying not to think about such things her eyes going to the folder Jin was holding as she hoped it would be useful for their progression.

Arriving back to the meeting area, Aya quickly went to find a pen and paper and jot down everything she remembered to the last detail about the information she had gotten, alongside having the actual file this was much more secure in case she ever wanted to use the information herself. She was hungry again, and beyond tired, she desperately wanted sleep but she wouldn't let it show on her face. Instead, she sat in the corner by her lonesome, making sure her hood was draped over her horns well enough for them not to be seen and awaited what came next as she attempted to steady her nerves still from the earlier ordeal, but she knew she would be lying if she didn't think the whole thing was kind of exciting.

The agent listened to each as they left if they said anything without saying a single thing in return, it wasn't their place and besides to those like themself actions and coins spoke louder than words. The agent took note of the time and those that were still within the room "Tick tock." was all that was quietly said as they retreated into the room from whence they had come from. Depending on the mode of transportation taken and issues that may arise along the way it would be hours before even the first person or group made their return. What none knew was there were people and things inside the archives that had either been paid off or were extensions of a mage that allowed the agent to keep track of everyone who entered the archives that night. It would allow their benefactor to assess them even without reading the information gathered.
Soon enough people started returning and the agent made their way back to the area where they had spoken before taking the folder handed to them "A Griffen you say?" they seemed somewhat lost in thought for a moment as they brought their left hand to their chin "I see. There were rumours that the royal archivist Edward Ravencrest was in possession of such a mana beast but there was no concrete proof. Thank you for procuring such vital information." they said as they brought down their hand. The next was the second group who seemed to have brought a box holding their information "Very thoughtful of you, I'll be expecting the bill in the mail or the favour to be called on nonetheless" the agent said knowing fine well that nothing in this world was free, that everything had a price even if it was for a 'charitable' cause.
The third group was more of a surprise as the one who seemed so full of himself and had a mouth wider and louder than a wind tunnel. It would seem as if he managed to latch onto the two people who were smart enough not to approach the bar or even offer them the information. "No, you have not." the agent said lifting a hand a spatial portal opening just behind the red head's associates before pulling it forward forcing them through it before it closed. "You are the one who done this task and so you if deemed worthy will be the one who will have gained entrance to the organisation." they said flatly showing they were in no mood for shenanigans at current "I would like to remind all that if you are found worthy of entrance to speak anything of this organisations workings means you will have signed your death warrant." they warned.
The last to enter was the last to leave which was no qualms as they made it just before dawn had reached over the horizon "Calling it close miss but you made it within the time frame." they said the tone used warmly. "Congratulations to you all." a voice said from a cloaked figure in the corner of the room as they stood bringing down the hood before taking the cloak off revealing a white haired young woman with blood ruby eyes wearing a black gothic lolita dress and matching bonnet. "My name doesn't matter at current, however, I am the leader of the Eclipse Raven and am happy to welcome you all into my organisation." she said her voice calm though she looked at Echo as if warning him not to say a word right now or she would silence him... permanently.
"I am thankful for your help in this endevor of mine and I promise you the fruits of your labour will come to fruition in time." she said a smile on her face "You may ask what the point was of that task if I am not going to look at the files but I will in due time, I just needed to know that those that I brought under my organizations banner could do so quietly as rogues are only as good as their skills after all." she said looking at each and every one of them "We each and everyone of us have a reason why we walk this path and why is no reason but our own but it will define who we are as people." she said calmly "There is two rules working in this organisation... the first is to keep your mouth shut when speaking to those outside of it, if you don't and we find out well... accidents will happen and they'll never find the body." her tone was serious as she spoke "The second is to use the right skill for the job meaning if it doesn't call for brute force and death don't do it, there is a time and place for all things." she said to them the stern tone remaining "With that I bid you all a good day and look forward to a fruitful and beneficial future." with that the agent opened a spatial portal collecting the information before walking out after her.
Connor thumbed his Grimoire open, assuring himself of the motive of which he conducted his business with, cold hard cash money was always appreciated but it seems the labour itself didn’t pay well. Silently he motioned towards the other rogues, but keeping it to himself, he knew better than to mouth off and so he sternly appropriated the concept of acceptance before leaving. Those that would have been accepted into the ranks of the Ravens were not at first apparent, but he presumed they would be acquainted soon enough any way. Carefully he instigated a tactful summarisation of the people that were found here, each with their own motives and individually they were an unimpressive lot, himself included. It wasn’t so much the scraping of the barrel that dawned on Connor, but the unpleasant sound of wood and metal did have a satisfying ring to it. It may have been the uninspired, underwhelming sense of a group of citizens who knew their work wasn’t sanctioned by the crown, coming together to perhaps do something more meaningful than cheating at cards or beating people up for what they had in their pockets. Very nearly Connor lapsed out of lucidity to ponder the prospects but then again he knew better than to totally disassociate in such a place, surrounded by people who would probably take advantage of his less than pragmatic situation. Zipping his lip was far from the concept of prohibitive logic, more an assertion of the obvious with a mingling of overt threat. Their new leader was less than subtle when grasping the situation and passing on the news. Her voice had a sharp accent to it, one of determination and resolve. Connor wondered what she looked like under the cloak, and to be honest, his imagination didn’t refrain from wondering some more as he left. Leaving the inn behind was of little consequence, thankfully no one had taken the news to mean gank us outside. As Connor plodded his weary feet one in front of the other, he began to think of what he may have gotten himself in to.

Ryoshi mearly watched as the agent seemed to go deep into thought as he mentioned them running into a griffin and then proceeded to tell that there had been rumors of the royal archivist having such a creature but no concrete evidence before the agent then thanked them for the information. The aura mage mearly gave a small respectful bow of his head before he turned and took a seat at the bar while he waited patiently for the others to arrive, sure enough each team came thru the door holding some form or another of information that was desired though it was a small surprise to see Echo manage to walk thru the door looking like a proud puffed up quail as his sister and her compatriot entered. Ryoshi knew his sister would pass that he had no doubt but one glance at Echo was enough to confirm his suspicions that the man had mearly been carried thru the task given his mindset of muscle over brains.
As the aura mages vivid blue eyes watched echo like a hawk he resisted the urge to roll his eyes when he saw him move back over to his allies and try to say that he got them all in with his actions which made Ryoshi slightly shake his head at the absurdity”and there goes the muscle brained monkey not thinking... oh well with his luck he will be dead in a month maybe less given his actions” he muttered more to himself then to anyone else and low enough that no one else would catch it. It was then that the agent would reprimand the light mage and inform him that only he had gotten in before using magic to warp the rest of his cronies away. Ryoshi couldnt help but slightly cover his mouth and silently snicker at the end result as he would glance at Echo with a feral and almost mocking smile showing just how the red heads actions had looked to anyone around them.
Before he could think further the leader of the organization revealed herself and Ryoshi had to admit the woman had the look of strength to her and also a dark beauty which he appreciated, he then proceeded to explain how the rules worked in Eclipse Raven which was that you didnt speak of it to anyone else outside of the inner circle lest you be killed and that make sure your skill set matched the job and you used the correct measures for the task given to you and that brute force didnt always work. After that she then vanished along with the agent and Ryoshi stretched a bit before he would smirked a bit wider.”I think this is going to a very fruitful partnership for certain” he said to himself as he would pass by Aelia and his aqua eyes locked onto her for a moment.”we need to have a little chat soon ill be in touch” he said his tone was polite but the look in his eyes towards her was very clear, his eyes were almost predatory as if begging her to try and run so he could hunt her again. With that he waved behind him and walked out the door to find some different lodgings so he could get some rest and soak in some hotsprings.
