RANK: Senior LOCATION: FORSAKEN REALM MIN-MAX PLAYER GROUP: 2-4 OTHER REQS:
NPCs may not enter the dungeon
Players must come wearing a costume
Description: On the edges of the forsaken region a dark creepy mansion has appeared out of nowhere, causing concern and paranoia to show in those who come across it. From the mansion area, a heavy dark mist flows out and covers an expansive area adding to the feeling that you are being watched by some unseen force. There are those who believe old folktales that the restless spirits of the damned worked together to create this manifestation of their anger towards those who have what they no longer do. Life. With apparent dark forces at work, the haunted house known as the Kabocha Ohaka took form. But was that a fact? What was behind the door?

These bat-like creatures band together to take on enemies and would swoop down from the ceiling to attack anyone or thing that disturbs them. They attack by sinking their fangs into their enemies. While one is easy to take down, a swarm can become overwhelming. The Blood-Fangs have been known to use shadow and sound magic. They specialise in attack creation, sensory and hex and curse.
These skeleton foot soldiers stand with pride as they wait for anyone who doesn’t belong in the Kabocha Ohaka to show up. Once that happens, they move from their post and go into a state of defending the room. They will fight with their swords and shields to defeat all those who trespass. Elements they commonly use are either bone or Common metals and specialize in attack creation and defence creation.
These scarecrow defenders will stand as the last line of defense on the first floor and prefers to stay back by the door to the second floor. They are equipped with fire magic to combat any threat that stands before them. Using the attack creation, transformation and restraining, the Strawfright uses its fire to restrain its target and then they go on the offensive.

As the group enters the house, the door slams shut and all the lights go out which makes it hard to traverse forward unless an item that produces light or someone with magic that can create light is present. Every so often flashes of fork lightning will brighten the room showing a door at the other end of the room. Those with at least 45 sensory or tier 2 Ki would be able to navigate the cluttered and worn room reducing the chance of disturbing the Blood Fangs resting on the ceiling. Every round you are in this room you must roll 1d4 to see if the lightning flashes (Even if it does odd it remains dark) If the lightning flashes then you must roll 1d4 to find out if it disrupts the otherwise sleeping bats. (Even if it will disturb the bats odd it won't.) If the bats hear a noise they will attack in waves so be warned.

The room is filled with jack o’lantern style pumpkins that also light up slightly brighter than the candles adding to the eeire atmosphere. Stationed at the walls are what looked like skeletons in decayed and rusted armour while by the exit of the room are what could only be described as elaborate scarecrows. A cold chill quickly fills the room those without a heat source or heat-based element suffer -5m/s, those with cold-based elements don't take any sort of penalty but they also gain no benefit while those with a heat source or heat-based element will be buffed by +5m/s. With an element of oil, they use attack magic, supplementary construct and physical reinforcement.
These flaming Jack O'lantern head warriors defend the Kabocha Ohaka as a precursor to the boss. They love attacking with their axes which create a flame with each swing that can burn their target. They are not ones to rush into battle and would prefer to wait until the target gets close to them. They are known to use lava or fire elements and specialize in attack creation, Physical Reinforcement and Hex and Curse.
The boss of the Kabocha Ohaka! Dracula is a cunning fighter utilizing Dark and Blood magic. When all of his defenders are defeated, he rises and challenges those who dare fight him. The effects do not stack if you eat multiple pieces of candy, you can only be granted one effect at a time.

Jin Zhongli
Jin had grown quite fond of going through dungeons. They provided near perfect ways to train while gathering some much needed equipment and money. Especially if one were being paid to go through one. The time had come to go through another dungeon one that was brand new actually. The KABOCHA OHAKA MANSION as it has been called by the locals that were around, it left quite the creepy impression on people. And most of them wanted it gone or at least dealt with. It didn't help that the mansion like dungeon had a wide spread of dark mist that gave people the feeling they were being watched by someone or something. There are currently quite a bit of theories going on about why this dungeon formed, and the white haired rogue was determined to figure it out.
Jin approached the dungeon with his right hand rubbing his chin, formulating all kinds of thoughts and hypotheses. But what stood out about him the most was his outfit of choice, or better yet his costume. There were words that one needed to be dressed in a costume in order to be let inside. Jin looked what could be called a spiritual detective or exorcist. Wearing a wide brown wizard looking hat, a long black cape draped over a black and grey kimono. Some round beads as a necklace, and matching ones for bracelets on his wrists. Jin also had his mouth covered with a cloth, it was fair to say Jin looked pretty different than he normally did.
To add some extra flair Jin not only dressed like some kind of spirits detective, but he was committed to acting like one. He was no longer Jin Zhongli the rogue. No now he was Jin the Spirit Detective. "Hmmmmmmm dark mist about. Strange feelings creeping up ones spine, the constant feeling of being watched by someone. There are definitely some dark foul play afoot here. And we will find out won't we!" he said looking behind him where he would lay his eyes on his partner Aelia.

Xue sighed behind his mask as he headed towards his target location, with the rise of a new dungeon he had decided to go out and see what might be inside, while he wasnt much for interacting with others the possibility for some new ingredients or perhaps new weapons was enough of a motivator to get him to venture outwards and into the area. He had heard he would need a costume he had went for something simple yet tasteful.the dark mage was gabbed in a long black robe with flowing spots on the shoulder area as well, under that was a pair of simple black pants and black boot, what finished the look was what was on the mans face which was a elegant white mask slightly beaked a bit for his nose and inlaid on the white mask was silver feligree and while he could see just fine from the outside the eyeholes were pitch black. What couldnt be seen was his grimoire which was up one of the fabric folds on his shoulder and his Karambits that were up his sleeves as well. They had been a present from his mother and with a identical element to his own the man considered them an extension of his hands.
As he reached the spot in question he spotted two other people and the one he instantly recognized but the other wasent as familier.”seems your here too Jun natural curiousity or something else?” he asked with the last part being a nod at it being their mothers orders possibly. He used the nickname that was normally used when in public so no one knew their true name, at this time Xue didnt know who the third person was so he was a bit wary, until his younger brother gave the ok he would stick to the alias and watch”so this is the new source of trouble I wonder what sort of trinkets lurk inside” he wondered aloud as he glanced over tot he entrance of the mansion. From the outside it looked like a rather spooky yet decently sized mansion but he knew that inside it could be a very different story so they would need to be read for anything and everything to happen.
It hadn't been all that long since she had gone through her very first dungeon with the help of Jin. When they had first encountered each other she treated him and saw him as she would any of her caretakers. She was afraid that he would get angry with her if she did something wrong or that he would speak of her badly when he helped return her home making her punishment worse. Things had evolved in the year they had spent together. They had become closer first as friends, then partners in crime but now it was more than that, they saw the other as a piece of their own family. She honestly never wanted to lose him and so knew in the future she would likely ask something most would find unnerving. That if he ever passed would he wish to continue to the afterlife or continue with her until they could travel there together?
She didn't see it as morbid. Why would she given how her magic worked and how her family grew? In fact, these days the only living person she saw as family was Jin. Of course, she had her biological father and brother but Jin was helping her to see with his own actions and with Fredrick's help that her relatives were abusive and that wasn't how a true family acted towards people they actually cared about. She had thought that the pair would have gone to the spirit festival as they had the year before but something else had caught the white-haired male's ear and so it seemed like there would be a detour. She didn't mind that, to her, every new experience made her stronger and helped her family grow a little more. The pair of course had done due diligence on what to expect but all it was, was rumours and hearsay.
Still, they went dressed in costumes as it seemed to be a requirement for the place to even let you in. Jin had dressed himself as an exorcist of the east whereas she herself was dressed as the wraith of a young woman of the east in a dull blue and white hanfu that had some wear and tear as well as blood stains as did her arms, hands and face. Her facial makeup she did by herself, it looked slightly smudged due to crying and even had the remnants of a blood tear on her left cheek. Her hair was still fully down but had what looked to be two different hairpins but in truth, it was only one. On the left, it appeared as if it was made out of petrified would with skulls on each branch of it while on the right it was obsidian with three black roses.
She was even wearing tasselled earrings to show that she was once a woman of wealth and affluence while she was alive. In the middle of her forehead sat an ofuda that would make it seem as if she was under the exorcists' control. Even if Jin never realized it, it was a sign of trust from her to him as though she was scared to do this giving her past she trusted him to never see her as just a puppet but in the same light, she saw her own wraith family. It was all in fun and it was helping her slowly break the control her family had over her. She still carried her grimoire in her arms and the red spider lily in her hands. She could feel the uneasiness in the air but it didn't phase her all that much.
Hearing Jin's words she looked up at him and opened her mouth to say something in return but closed it quickly hearing a voice she didn't recognise. She turned to look at where the voice came from and tilted her head to the left slightly. She knew a few of the names Jin used such as he some of hers as you never knew when you'd come across people that you encountered in their line of work again... if they weren't to be killed that is. She turned her eyes back at Jin as if to ask if he knew who the new person was. She bit her lip after a moment and pointed to her eyes wondering if she should perhaps put her blindfold on for all it looked dark on the outside they had no idea what to expect on the inside and with her hypersensitivity to any form of light she didn't want to become a burden to him even though they both knew she would work through it.

Though this particular flower has seemed to be infected or mutated by the surrounding mana turning it into a flower that is made of Pura Aura. It can be picked up but will never wilt or lose its shape. A surprising effect that seem to come with the mutation is that it glows from a light red to a dark red the closer it gets to things that are dead, truly keeping to the Flower of Death motif that its kind is known for. Shadowed Sorrow
Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Shadow Class & Type: Imbued ¦ Accessory (Blindfold) Magic Specializations: Transformation ¦ Physical Reinforcement Appearance & Lore: A decoratively elegant black lace blindfold that has a semi-long train allowing it to be tied in a bow. It doesn't look like a blindfold one would wear unless trying to make a statement as if a person was paying enough attention they would be able to figure out who is wearing it but that isn't the point of this blindfold. It is purpose no one would expect given the fabric that it is made out of, it prevents light from reaching the wearer's eyes.
Unlike most items of its nature this blindfold has a twin, the reason for this as they are two parts of a whole. The exact origin of the original blindfold isn't known but when taken to one of the well-known crafting families it was found out that the blindfold held the element dark and it had an almost sinister yet caring feel to it. It was then a request for a member of the Delothosin was sent out to find out more information as the crafters couldn't give any more information. It wasn't all that long before the information was given, it was of daemonic weave and a question was asked. Where was it found?
The answer was a simple one, it was found in the aftermath of Kikka's liberation within the grounds of the Purple Orca base. The member of the occult family asked to do their own investigation and it was granted, it took a month but it was found out to be owned by the daemoness Lilitu. It was a gift weaved by the wraiths Kiyoshi and Anata over the span of fifty years after seeing how the light affected their mistresses eyes. The information was given to the one who was in its current possession and they were notified while in their possession especially within one piece the daemoness would claim them to her graveyard.
How it was made into two blindfolds or the way it ended up on the black market would be anyone's guess because no one is talking. What is known is when the original was split into two the dark element seemingly became weaker and became the shadow that they are now enchanted with. How the blindfolds ended up in their current owner's hands? Well... let's just say don't insult someone who cares about their wraith's like family... it requires an expensive apology.

The wearer of Shadowed Sorrow gain access to the perks
Type & Uses: -- Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Mana Cost: -- Range & Speed: Self ¦ -- Stats Affected: +7 m/s Description: It may be hard to see if a person isn't looking for it but around the feet of the wearer, there seems to be a very fine misty shadow that surrounds them like a darkened aura. This will grant the wearer a passive +2 m/s to speed however this ability does not become active until the ability is trained to intermediate. As this is passive the abilities word count will be added to the item itself so it will grow at the same time.

Atop of her fingers appear a pair of shadows that could be mistaken for flames at first with how they flicker, each shadow floats above one of the hands for a brief second before becoming a marking ever flickering on each hand. This gives the wearer a junior rank strength buff for as long as the ability is active.

Clasping their hands and saying "Gothic Rose." Changes the wearer into a young woman around 18 years old standing 5'6" tall with an athletic frame. She has steel grey eyes, long silver hair that seems to be caught in suspended animation with a black streak and dip at some of the ends. Around her throat, there is a black choker, she wears a sleeveless black corset top with a sleeveless jacket on top. Her right arm has a fishnet glove held with a black band at the top and two at the bottom while her left has a bandage wrapped around it. she wears a black skirt with white torn trim that stops midway up there thigh. She wears black stockings and knee-high boots. In this form, she seems to be a bit more confrontational and unwilling to back down and could be easily mistaken for a pure aura mage.
Clasping their hands and saying "Tranquil Snow" changes the wearer into a young woman of around 16 years old standing at 5'2" tall with a lithe frame. She has spring green eyes and simplistic snow-white hair with a loop at the top and carnations in her hair. She wears a hanfu that is white and black with red ties and a black sash which she wears around her arms, on her feet she wears simple white slippers that match her outfit. While in this form she is gentle, shy and reserved not really wanting to talk as if completely mute and could be mistaken for an ice/flower mage.

Jin Zhongli
Much to Jin's surprise a familiar presence had entered his sensory range, he could never confuse his siblings mana for someone else's. This was his big brother Xue, was Jin being watched again? He highly doubted it at least this time. But even with all that in his thoughts he wasn't going to break his character for tonight.
"Natural curiosity?? No no! We are here to solve the problems with this haunted and forsaken mansion. At least that is our job. That is what a exorcist does and I am the finest exorcist in the region! Me and my partner! She is a wraith who has found reason to help the living!" Jin said gesturing to Aelia. Aelia was dressed as a wraith for her costume it was fitting and the costumes worked well together.
But for Jin he wasn't just in costume, he was entirely committed to his role as an exorcist for the evening. Pretending to be someone else was one of Jin's favorite activities, his brother would probably know that well. Maybe even Aelia might have picked up on it over the year. Jin moved his large hat over his face for dramatic effect and pointed to the mansion. "Now you are free to join us in our crusade you masked avenger! You seem the capable sort! I suspect many things will wish to cause us harm once we enter! It is most imperative that we be on our guard! I shall take lead!" He said wasting no time to head towards the front doors and open them.
Once opened and fully inside, Jin was hit with a gust of wind and didn't surprise him much, his eyes and sensory taking in the complete surroundings of the first room. When everyone was inside the doors slammed shut behind the last person to enter, and the force of wind actually got rid of all the candle lights. This didn't shock Jin to much at all, he was used to dungeons being like this now. He would out his left hand out and point upwards alerting the group of the many Blood fangs that were resting on the ceiling.
Because of his high sensory abilities he was able to navigate through the room with no effort, gesturing for Aelia and Xue to stick close to him. Suddenly there was a flash of lightning and thunder from the outside, that was bright and loud it may actually wake the blood fangs above. Jin looked up to see their reaction, and luckily none of them woke up. Jin then put his index finger over his lips and looked towards the others and began to whisper. "I suspect even the slightest of noises will awake our blood thirst predators above."
Jin continued to move towards the next door, the faster they could get out of this room the better. Although he was pretty confident if a fight did break out they could take them out with little trouble, but it was always best to avoid a dangerous fight of one could. But he was sure if older sister Varia was here she wouldn't hesitate to start a fight just for the heck of it. Luckily his brother Xue wasn't like that, at times he could definitely be the scariest of all his siblings but he was always sound of mind and patience and stuck to a plan. Aelia was the same in certain ways she only resulted to violence once she truly needed to. She was not one to seek it, unless of course she took a job too even then she showed a notable restraint. But she might think about adding these bats to her family. Once Jin has thought this he looked towards and made eye contact and then looked up towards the sleeping blood fangs. "Family?" he asked her in a whisper wanting to know if that is what she wanted. If so the exorcist wasn't opposed to engaging with them if it meant strengthening her family if that is what she wanted. If not he would simply move on, there was bound to be other more noteworthy threats she could add to her family deeper in the mansion.

Xue couldnt help but let out a sigh at his brothers antics, while he loved him dearly and did his best to look out for him he would sometimes get a little too into the acts that he would put on, as it was mentioned that his partner was a wraith the dark mage nearly felt his eyebrow twich as a pulse of irritation went thru him since instead of giving him a straight answer he was acting all grandious instead of straight to the point.”I had heard this mansion had popped up how interesting to see it in person” he said before Jin would once again be dramatic and stay in character which made Xue mearly shake his head.”I'll be assisting and you can take lead but when this is all said and done I want an explination on something Jun is that clear?”he stated his tone was calm but the last part made it clear that the white haired mage wanted answers that were normal and not under the guise of a act. Glancing over at Aelia Xue would bow his head politely before he spoke “a pleasure to meet you I am Delun” he stated knowing it was an easier alias to use given Jin already knew it.
Floor 1 room 1
As they entered into the room and the door slammed shut behind them Xue instnatly went on guard as the lights went out and saw his younger brother motioning for them to follow him given his higher sensory, Xue was not exactly built for using sensory especially after having his markings put on him so he was more then willing to follow Jins lead and remained beside Aelia, as they moved thru the darkness a bolt of lightning would suddenly flash before them and the weapon master closed his eyes instictively as the light was exceptionally bright in such darkness and the resulting boom of thunder was just as loud. Xue had noticed that ass his brother had just stated the bat like creatures that were hanging asleep in the rafters of the room were still asleep and while the dark mage couldnt see them he knew that if they hung around there was a higher chance to have them wake and cause issue,”agreed we should get out of this room as quick as we can the less effort we have to expend here the more strength we have for later” he stated plainly though his tone was hushed in order to avoid waking said bats.
As they would start closing in on the door Xue did take a moment to subtly glance at Aelia, it puzzled him how she interacted with his younger brother and it didnt go unnoticed that she seemed very wary of him which he could not fault her for. Actually her wariness gained her some approval from the rogue since he knew it was good to help others but trust was something that was easily broken yet hard to obtain it was the reason that outside of his family he trusted little to no one not every with his real name, Xue knew that depending on how his discussion with Jin went later this girl might learn his true name as well if she was deserving of that trust. Xue heard Jin mention family as he looked to his partner and he couldnt help but become curious “What is this about Family Jun?” he asked his tone still very soft to avoid any problems, while he waited and they kept moving Xue was at the ready incase the bats woke up and he had his karambits ready to drop into his hands at a moments notice.
Aelia had been nothing but a tool her entire life, following orders to the letter for fear of the repercussions that would befall her and so hadn't had an actual childhood where she could laugh, play and learn in such methods. Living with Jin and seeing his attitude and how he joked around when it wasn't something serious was rubbing off on her slowly, they had decided that they would do theme costumes and play the roles they had for the entire night. It wasn't to do a mission but sheerly for the fun and spirit of the season. It was make-believe without cause. It was a strange experience but she was enjoying it. She kept her grimoire close to her as she always did, the cover facing towards her chest and the red spider lily in her hand. She looked at the newcomer silently as if appraising him.
Aelia bowed a little but remained silent, even with Jin who she knew and trusted she never really spoke unless she deemed it needed and even then it was to the point. Around complete strangers, she just refused to speak thanks to her conditioning. She had been told unless she could be convincing with speech not to talk and though she had been practising her speech was still far too broken to speak outside of the phrases she was taught to parrot and the prayer she spoke to add to her family. It would seem as if Jin knew the person that had joined them well enough but that didn't mean she was going to change her usual mannerisms as she didn't know him and so didn't trust him. By his words, it seemed as if after they had finished the dungeon the pair would be having a serious talk.
Before she walked on she moved into the sleeve of her costume and brought out her blindfold placing it over her eyes, she knew due to the material it was made from it would look as if it was just for some sort of statement as a person could see through it. It in fact helped her deal with her light sensitivity. While she wore it, it was as if there was no light which suited her fine as she saw perfectly in darkness. She walked a little behind Jin and into the entrance of the room, her eye had already started scanning the place so she could show Jin which was the safest route. It was true that his sensory was far superior that hers but that didn't help with things that were non-magical in the dark. It was then she had been hit with the same gust of wind that Jin had.
It was almost as if the mansion was trying to get them to leave, well, that wasn't an option when it had decided to slam the door closed behind them the moment that the third member of their party had entered. It was then that the third of their party introduced themselves as Delun, she just moved into her grimoire and pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to him. On the paper it said 'Nice to meet you, my name is Alana.' It had been the first name that Jin had introduced her to people and so it was the name she usually used when she was with Jin to prevent confusion. Then again she could call herself whatever she wanted and Jin would just roll with it like he always had. She pointed to the safest route and began walking, due to her weak sensory she had no idea of the bats above.
Well, that was until Jin pointed them out after a flash of light, hearing his words she finally looked up and tilted her head. It had been a miracle they hadn't woken from the events of the door or the boom from the thunder. She nodded to his words agreeing that if there was any noise they may actually wake up and continued towards the door at the far end of the room. Jin then stopped to point up to them and said one word... 'family' she knew he was asking and as much as she wanted them she was unsure about accepting more into her family in front of strangers. She knew her magic was rare, she knew it was strong and she knew that people would want to use her power so had to be careful when and where she used it.
She looked at Jin conflicted, the sorrow though subtle would be plain enough to see for him as she lowered her head and shook it. As much as she would want to strengthen her family she didn't want to do it when it was more than just the two of them. She had done it in the shadowlands when Sol had been around because he was out of the line of sight but this time was different. There was nowhere to hide so she would be forced to do it where another could see. She knew she would likely have to use her magic eventually but most problems could be solved by just beating on it until it became dead. The only way she would likely feel like she could claim them with Delun around is if Jin could convince him to turn his back while she did the act. What happened next would be completely up to the two men as she left it in Jin's hands.

Jin Zhongli
While Jin was fully committed to his character of Jun the spiritual detective and exorcist, when his brother introduced himself as Delun his mind went into a giggle. He was having to much fun with this.
In Jin's mind his brother Xue and Aelia will have the proper introductions with their real names and because of the connection he shares with both of them they really don't much they need to hide from one another. But they will cross that bridge when they get there, right now he was Jun the best exorcist in the region. Jin wasn't surprised when his brother would decided they should just exit the room and avoid the fight if it was possible, cause that was the smart decision. Every Zhonghli is raised to make the smart decision and always calculate using one's head.
But this couldn't be the case this time, cause it would go against the one reason they were here in the first place. To strengthen Aelia's family. Seeing Aelia's reaction Jin had made up his mind. "Apologies masked avenger Delun! But we cannot take this course, for it defeats our purpose! And our purpose is research! But do not worry I shall take care of them!" Jin replied with much more base and volume in his voice. Jin grabbed the tip of large brown hat with his left hand, and swiped his right arm forward 'Split the convergence, creating divergence' 'Raim!"
Jin activated one of his spells created multiple void rifts along the ceiling of the room, a total of seven in fact. Each one right next to a blood fang. Thin red void rifts ready to split anything that comes into contact with it, Jin snapped his fingers on his right hand. Each rift moved one meter going right through a blood fang. Jin had effortlessly killed seven blood fangs on the ceiling and made another dramatic pose with his black cape flowing as if there was gusts of air in the room. Several of the dead blood fangs fell to the floor as he posed. But now that left six blood fangs that were now swooping down to attack them. But the exorcist was ready for his counter assault. 'Vephar!' he used another spell created five more void rifts in the air above the blood fangs, with the swipe of his left arm this time short swords fell from the rifts and pierced some of the blood fangs striking five of them and leaving them dead on the floor. Leaving just one to deal with that was coming towards him Jin simply landed a back fist to it's face sending it across the room. Taking care of all the bloodfangs, Jin would face Xue and spread out his cape in dramatic fashion. Using a tether he commanded all his short sword to hover behind his back.
"I must ask you turn away masked avenger Delun. My partner Alana must perform her ritual in order to truly analyze these creatures. And she gets nervous when someone she doesn't know is looking at her. Please honor this request." Jin said ending the sentence with a light bow. Hopefully Xue would honor the request so Aelia can do what she needs to do. Jin would look at his big brother with pouty eyes and face that would beg his older brother to listen.
Once it was all done Jin would smile widely heading into the next room. "Hahaha the first encounter was mere child's play! Let us continue shall we!"

The second room was definitely colder and had a chill throughout. So cold in fact that Jin noticed a drop in speed, but his active spell Vephar fixed this loss in speed. Once all three had entered the room the door shut behind them again, but this time instead of turning off all the candle lights they actually flickered to life. "Parlor tricks." Jin said out loud walking forward without fear. Looking around there was a sense of eeriness throughout the room, meant to keep one on their toes. There was scarecrows hanging throughout the walls each of their eyes glowing brighter than the candles themselves. "Stay on guard friends, whatever threats face us in this room will make their appearance soon enough."
Lifeless bodies of skeletons started to move about coming into action, each one carrying a sword and shield. From their numbers Jin counted twelve but not only that, there was scarecrows as well three of them in total. These threats were no question going to be tougher then the blood fangs in the previous room. As of right now they were severely out numbered, Jin had to level the playing field. 'El Berith, Inverse Void' Jin's right eye had red glow in it as his spell was casted throughout the room. From his allies point of view nothing had changed, but for his enemies it was as if the entire room had become reversed. "Right now they won't be able to tell where you’re coming from, ive robbed them of their senses! Now is the opportune moment to attack!" Jin said rushing forward his cape fluttering about. El Berith was a complex spell to explain so he left it at that. It did have a secondary effect that was much easier explain though. His increase in strength had doubled, so now each of his physical attacks would deal significant damage.
Jin's targets were actually the scarecrows, because of his Inverse Void spell none of them could tell which direction he was coming from. The exorcist landed a powerful punch to one of the scarecrow's face defeated it in one blow. He then went to another landing a aerial axe kick destroying that one as well. For the last one Jin used both hands and landed a double one inch punch completely shattering it. All three scarecrows had let out spells but none of them hit the targets, because of Jin's illusion spell everything that they perceived was coming at them in a certain direction actually came from another direction entirely. The illusion left them utterly hopeless in ways to defend themselves or counter.
Jin had set his eyes on skeleton and dashed towards it, landing a powerful kick breaking through it's shield and shattering it. He then turned to see how his allies were doing. Jin made sure to take out the stronger more dangerous threats quickly, but there was still numbers to deal with. But his illusion spell should see that none of the bone strikers attacks hit their targets. Jin had to make sure his older brother was safe, Xue had a limiter placed on him to hold back his abilities while this was best for him. It did decrease his power quite a bit, the last thing Jin wanted was his brother getting hurt. Same went for Aelia while she could defend herself much better because of her wraiths, she had urge to throw herself in harms way if they were going to get attacked. So even though Jin was having his fun playing his exorcist role, he didn't let it distract him from protecting his family.

Description: Displaying more unique mastery of the void and it's energies. Jin has learned a spell that allows him to create ethereal blades for him to use in more direct combat. By swiping his arm to the side, he summons the blades. Each blade is 70 cm long resembling short swords, that are dark blue in color. Creating a rift anywhere in his visual sight with a maximum distance of forty meters, the blades are made from that rift. If he wishes Jin is able to create a invisible marker within the same range of the spell, allowing him to use the spell at a later time. When used the marker will vanish and need to be recast. The marker takes the shape of a red star, no bigger than a human sized hand. Using his control he can move them with a mana tether if he so wishes or hold them in hand. Each blade is capable of dealing intermediate rank damage by cutting, slashing, and stabbing it's target. Do to the properties of Void magic, the blades can appear in a instant like manner and can completely destroy items and physical matter that are not reinforced by magic. For example using a blade to cut through a wall not reinforced my magic, said blade would easily cleave through it with no difficulty. With the use of ammo rules additional blades can be created, in accordance to his control. Also anyone holding this blade receives an increase in speed, reactions, swiftness and velocity.

Description: Further expanding what he can do with rifts, Raim is a spell that is very much similar to Oriax and Seere before it. 'Split the convergence, creating divergence' Creating a rift anywhere in his visual sight with a maximum distance of forty meters. Swiping his arm with an open palm, or pushing an open palm forward he creates a rift. Raim is literally cutting a space between those two points, creating a split. It cannot be used on a living being or inside them, but when used on physical matter not backed by magic Jin is literally able to split walls, doors, floors, objects and items in half. If he wishes Jin is able to create a invisible marker within the same range of the spell, allowing him to use the spell at a later time. When used the marker will vanish and need to be recast. The marker takes the shape of a red star, no bigger than a human sized hand. Using his control Jin is able to move the rifts around freely to also strike a target causing intermediate cutting damage. Jin can create a 'split' right in front of him and fire it off at an intended target. The rift is 6 meters tall and dark blue in color, and it resembles a long line crack one would find in a wall. Raim can appear in an instant like manner due to the nature of this magic, the rift does take the time to form at a position based on the distance of the caster and the speed of a spell of the same rank. Following ammo rules, Jin can create more rifts in accordance to his control.

COLD-BLOODED SPOILER: Click to show
Description: 'The Void is the inverse to existence, this idea can fit to actuality' El Berith, Inverse Void is another illusion spell Jin has created. Activating this spell simply by saying it's name and his right eye shining having a tint similar to a star, it can appear in an instant like manner due to the nature of void magic. El Berith, Inverse Void creates an illusion in the area, completely inverting a target's sense of sight, sound and mana sensory. Up and down, left and right as well as forward and backward are reversed. Creating the illusion of the entire area being completely flipped upside down and turned for visual sight. Direction of incoming attacks are also completely reversed. Making it extremely difficult to follow and track the caster's movements and attacks. For example the target may sense an attack using mana sensory and see a attack coming from above, but in actuality it's coming from below. Sound as well is effected a shout or comment could be heard coming from the left but it's really coming from the right even the words being heard can be reversed as if the person is speaking backwords. This spell affects the equilibrium of those its power is used on giving them vertigo, causing confusion, disorientation and nausea. Also given his assassin and cold blooded nature, Jin can completely mask his mana signature and presence from anyone. Making it even more difficult to figure out which direction he's coming from, or where he is at all. With ammo rules, he can not only prevent his allies from being affected by the illusion but add versions of them into the illusion. Making their positions, attacks, and sounds be reversed from a visual, sensory and sound standpoint. Requirements to see through this illusion is 60 Sensory +2 for every 15 control the user has. Illusion's potency will naturally wane overtime, lowering the amount of sensory needed in order to see through them by 2 points per post they are sustained. El Berith also has the added effect of coating himself in void energy, to increase his physical strength to incredible levels. Each strike coming from him being equal to senior ranked damage, which is enough to easily break bones and non magical structures.
Xue was already tolerating his brothers antics as they moved thru the room and as the young woman offered him a piece of paper with her introduction he nodded in response and gave a small smile as a greeting, given she was with his brother he would be cautious but not unfriendly as they moved thru the room.it seemed that despite his suggestion that they should just move on Jin had decided that they needed to take out the enemies as it was their purpose for being in the dungeon and before the elder zhongli could even get his daggers out his younger brother had unleashed a powerful spell that rent all but one of the beasts with void magic, it was rather impressive to the dark mage that his brother had that level on control and the sheer number of the.”not bad you have been getting better Jun” he stated before with a flick of his wrist has one of his karambits in his hand and would swing upwards at the last bat before in the same movement brout his arm down just as fast leaving it dead on the ground with both its wings cleanly severed, Xue would flick his karambit to get rid of any blood on the knife before he hid it back up his sleeve. the next words that his brother said made the man even more confused. Jin in his act of flamboyancy asked that Xue turn his back so that their female companion could work her magic to study said creatures.
Xue instantly raised an eyebrow before he noticed his brother giving puppy dog eyes and he nearly rolled his own in annoyance.” fine but don't make that look at me again if you do my answer is going to be an instant no“ he stated plainly as he would turn his back so they could do what they needed to do, as they did he would slip one of his karambits out of his sleeve and examine it, he had gotten them as a gift from his mother for a job well done and they rapidly became his go to piece of equipment since they felt almost like a part of him especially given that it had the same element as him.

as they would finish up and step thru the doorway the door would once again slam shut and instantly the lights went out along with a cold chill sweeping the room, Xue suppressed a shiver but he gained a scowl.”i hate the cold” he muttered under his breath as he saw the scarecrows suddenly start to shift but it seemed that his brother was once again a step ahead, he cast a spell that would look normal to them but apparently Jin explained it would throw them off balance making it harder to track the three of them and Xue nodded before he would bring his left arm up before making sure his palm was facing upwards before suddenly curling his fingers, from the ground suddenly a large fang of dark energy would erupt upwards striking the skeleton and knocking it 7 feet into the air before slamming back into the ground hard, it would right itself but due to the secondary effect what almost looked like a blackish veil was around its eye sockets and it swung wildly but nowhere near any of the three due to its being completely blinded. Xue however would quickly unsheathe both his knives as two of the skeletons suddenly swung their blades down at him and he blocked with his knives the design keeping him from taking a hit to the hand.he would quickly push back to drive them backwards before he took a bit of a breath as he focused on the best way to tackle all the foes before them.

She knew Jin had been trained mentally the same way as her when it came to tasks, to be as quick and efficient as possible without taking any unneeded risks. They had decided to come into this dungeon to gain additional family members for her there was now a risk involved with Xue's presence. Due to how she had been raised and programmed she didn't claim in front of people who she didn't know. Jin and Fredrick had already explained that she would be either hunted or used as a weapon because of her magic, she was already used to being used as a tool by her own family so she didn't understand what the issue was completely. There was also the fact that their line of work could and would have people hunting them if they weren't smart about their actions. Then again, she was already being hunted by her older brother and they both knew it.
Jin knew she wanted the bats but her mentality would make her turn down the offer, it, however, seemed as if he had a plan as he attacked the bats apologising to Xue for what he was doing and explaining research was why they were there in the first place. It wasn't completely wrong she guessed and it seemed as much as he hated it Xue accepted the fact that Jin had just attacked the sleeping bats. Between the two men the bats were easily disposed of, still, she made no effort to claim them she merely walked around looking at those who hadn't been harmed all that badly. It was true that it didn't really matter the state of the corpse as they looked uninjured when she used them, she just disliked it because it took far more out of her to do such an act.
During the time that she was walking around, it turned out that Jin was enacting his plan to make Xue turn his back so she could do what she needed to claim the bats. Xue seemed more than a little vexed at the request but he did turn his back. As he did she moved to her knees and brought out her grimoire from the place it was hidden and placed it on the floor in front of her. "Come to my graveyard, we can play forever." she whispered, it was the first part of her normal claiming ritual as if inviting them. She knew she could take them but this almost made it seem as if they had a choice on the matter. That choice was important to her because she'd never want someone to be a tool like she was.
"For those that have come and gone, through love and strife, whether you are forgotten or remembered thanks is given to you all so we can continue our paths undisrupted." her voice was hushed as if she was paying to those who had long since passed in hopes they might find some peace, that and she didn't want Xue to hear her speaking. With the new wraiths accepted into her family, she stood up and dusted herself off placing her grimoire back to where it had been hiding in her costume. When Xue turned around he would likely notice that several of the bats were missing from the floor. She would remain silent but bowed her head slightly in thanks for him allowing her to do her 'research ritual' without his prying eyes watching her, with that she followed Jin to the next room. She looked around the room and tilted her head.
Floor 1 Room 2
There was little light but that was completely fine for her as she moved to take off her blindfold, she felt the sting but she could bare it. Her eyes were unique. She didn't know if it was because of her sensitivity to light or the fact she had spent the majority of her life in the dark but she could see perfectly in the dark, although, it did lack colour but that was fine. As she looked around the room she tapped each finger as if counting things. It would likely seem odd to Xue but she was still getting used to numbers and exercises like this actually helped her with that. The issue was that there were more skeletons than she had fingers so this frustrated her as she was still heavily reliant on her fingers to work things out. Instead of showing her frustration, she put her hands down, she could talk to Jin about it later.
She could feel the cold of the room, she also felt her speed slowing and had to wonder if this was a common occurrence in some dungeons, she guessed only time could tell on that one. At current, she had nothing that could fix her own speed her magic didn't allow her to use anything other than her wraiths and none of them had any way to boost their own or her speed. It was something she would have to look into remedying in the near future but that was something for later and wouldn't help her now. She turned her eyes towards Xue as he spoke of disliking the cold. In her opinion it wasn't overly cold, it was more of an annoyance than anything. She took note that there was movement but remained perfectly still as if she hadn't.
She listened as Jin activated a spell and informed them what he had just done, which would make this task easier as she was sure that their current foes would be tougher to deal with than the bats of the previous room. She wasn't a sensory mage but it stood to reason the further you went into places like these the stronger the enemies would become. She nodded and dashed forward without a sign of concern towards a bone striker that seemed to be confused about what was going on. Jumping she roundhouse kicked it before landing and punching it twice before it could regain balance, then dropped swiping its feet from it before flipping up and landing on its head ending its life. It was only because of Jin's spell that she hadn't been harmed, for it was all she could do as she didn't want to summon wraiths.
In the time that it took her to take out that single enemy, Jin had managed to take out the three scarecrows and one of the skeletons. Then again she was quite sure he was the strongest out of them currently there, then again, the unknown male may be holding back his punches. She could only imagine that there was some history between the two, she believed that they may have been quite close due to how they had acted and how Xue spoke of Jin becoming stronger. It was a very confusing thing for her but it wasn't her problem and she wasn't going to pry into his personal life like he didn't with her. It was a mutual respect thing though some basic things about each other's personal life had come up now and then creating their bond.
