Asmodeus has given an order for his sons and daughters to go and corrupt a much more primal link to the world to further their goals...the leylines. Sending out five of his children to the awakened hotspots awakened by the mages of Clover he tells them to take over these areas and corrupt them so that more daemonspawn can enter the world.

[break]Combat Style: Fezek the Wrathful will always use his sword to attack his enemies, supplementing his attacks with Attack Creation, or restrain his foes so they suffer every moment as his prisoners.
[break]Additional Information: Fezek wields a greatsword as if it were some sort of small blade, his strength is immeasurable and he acts as a vanguard to the Princes of Asmodeus. He wants to bring destruction to the world and rule over his other siblings. He wears grey armor and is the peak of physical conditioning.
In truth, Gawain had no idea what they were, or what they represented. The way it had once been explained to him, it was basically like natural mana that ran beneath the earth and converged in certain regions that became oversaturated by them. Apparently, this was how natural mana regions occurred, a concept the boy understood even less. He did however understand that places such as these were incredibly rich in mana, and that to the right, or the wrong people, depending on your point of view, that mana could be used in order to power something like a sort of battery. Now, before he had met with Griswold two years ago, Gawain would have called anyone who spoke of demons and devils an idiot, as these things did not exists for as far as he was aware. Griswold however was dead set in the belief that the former very much did exist.
After all that he had done for him, it was not for the young knight to question his beliefs. As such, he had gone into this whole thing with fresh eyes and ears, hoping that what they were going to uncover throughout this mission was an actual demon. Truth be told, he had been wanting to fight something that was actually strong for some time now, as the rate at which he grew in terms of power and magical ability had kept him from actually having any rivals of his own age. He’d only been a magic knight for a few weeks, though he was effectively the strongest knight within the Silver Eagles aside from Captain Nico. When he received the mission briefing telling him to head towards the witches forest as there was supposed to be an attempt there to bring about an incursion from hell, Gawain honestly couldn’t be bothered to wait for anyone else to arrive at the agreed upon location.
He wanted to test this creature out with his own two hands, and if it proved to be a worthy adversary, he wanted to tear them to shreds with his own magic. And so, as he sat on the outskirts of the forest and looked across the place that was supposed to be targeted, Gawain waited patiently for the others to arrive. It was his own fault, for if he had stuck to the schedule, he wouldn’t have needed to be here for a bit, though he had come early just to see if he could catch a glimpse of this demon before anyone might try to intervene or overcomplicate things. Because to Gawain, things were quite simple. If something moved about in Clover, that made them either magical, flesh and blood, or both. Either way, it meant that his magic could reach them. And if his magic could reach them, it meant that he could cut them to ribbons. That was really all there was to it.
Broken from his train of thought by the sound of massive wings moving overhead, he watched as a dark figure flew through the air and made their way towards the supposed leyline site. Even though the briefing stated that they had been keeping track of this creature quite well, it seemed that it arriving early meant that some of their scouts might not have lived long enough to send their updated time table through to command. Regardless, Gawain couldn’t just sit there and wait for this thing to go about summoning whatever hell it planned to raise, even though watching such a thing would be incredibly interesting. Sighing deeply, the boy left his position and made his way towards the leyline at a steady sprint. As he approached, he witnessed how the creature with the leathery bat-like wings began descending towards the ground, looking around as if trying to locate the prime spot to begin whatever it was supposed to be doing.
Even though he was supposed to be waiting for the rest of the knights that were assigned to this case, he felt like the demon moving up its time table meant that he couldn’t just stand around and do the same. Besides, if he made his move now, he might be able to get a few good hits in before the others arrived. One did not get to fight a demon every day after all. Hell, it very well might be the last time he got to fight a demon, so it was something to be savored. With his chest puffed out so as to make himself look more imposing, though likely just making him look like a penguin, the ashen haired boy marched up to where the demon stood. Very much to its surprise. As it turned around to look at the boy, a fiendish grin appeared on its face, though it quickly made way for a more stoic expression that seemed to suit the creature better. Not that it would matter, as whatever face it wore, it didn’t scare Gawain much.
“Who dares approach prince Fezek so brazenly. You’d be wise to kneel when laying eyes on the strongest of lord Asmodeus’s sons. Though they call me the Wrathful, I might yet allow you to keep your head.”
Having spoken in a loud, imposing tone of voice, the being looking down upon the boy who was still gradually approaching the creature, steadily reducing the roughly ten meters that yet remained between the two of them. Pondering on just how he should respond, the boy imagined one of the best things he could do now would be to buy time for the other two mages to arrive, making sure this Fezek character wouldn’t be able to put all of his focus on the leyline and doing whatever it was that it was going to be doing to it.
“I see… Pleasure to make your acquaintance, prince Fezek the wrathful. I am prince Gawain the sweet, lord of sugarplum keep and steward of the candy cane forest. I regret to inform you that your presence here is undesired, as your body odour sours our plums! So sorry, but i’m going to have to ask you to abandon the leyline and head on home.”
Openly mocking the creature, the demon prince frowned so deep it seemed his brows might push his eyes out of its sockets, showing just how attacked it felt that a mere human child spoke down to him with such blatant disrespect.
“Foolish, impetuous child. Even as we speak, my brethren move upon the other leylines scattered across the region. No matter how fast you run, one of us will succeed in bringing about pandemonium… Not that it matters, you won’t live long enough to become a problem to our lord, as your death here will herald the coming of the hells.”
Holding out its hand, a dark shadow seemed to form out of thin air, coalescing into the shape of a large two handed sword, it’s handle resting in Fezek’s hand. Had it not been clear before, the demon was not in the mood for playing games, nor did it seem to like being treated in the manner it had tried to treat Gawain, with disdain and disrespect. After all, one would not ask another to kneel if they did not consider themselves to be above them in station, or so the boy thought. But as the being raised and released its mana in a display of strength and force, Gawain couldn’t help but feel…. Underwhelmed?
“Bla bla bla. Pandemonium. Hellfire and brimstone. I thought you’d be fun, but you’re actually really weak huh..”
Continuing to walk closer and closer towards the demon that yet towered over his own small stature, the fact that this being wasn’t nearly as powerful as it believed itself to be had become quite apparent in Gawain’s mind. With the new spell in mind that he had been working on, all things considered, this so called demon prince should be no challenge whatsoever. And if nothing else, it would make for a prime subject for his first trial run. After all, using a spell such as this on humans was probably going to be considered as somewhat illegal once people came to realize just what it did. Holding out his fist towards the demon as he kept walking, he formed a gesture with his left hand.
“Why you little-”
No sooner than after the gesture was made, a quick and sizeable rush of magic burst from Gawain’s body but disappeared almost as soon as it had. To the untrained eye, nothing had happened, though after a second, notable lines appeared along the full length of the demon’s body and leathery wings. Even the blade it wielded seemed affected by it. For as Gawain’s spell had passed through the prince with such deadly precision and speed, it seemed that it hadn’t even noticed that this fight had already been decided. So when it tried to lift up its sword in an attempted, its body suddenly began slipping and sliding into different directions, having been carved up into various equally sized squares of flesh. Falling down onto the ground like a castle of blocks that had been pushed off of a table, the demonic prince had been reduced to fertilizer before it could truly inflict any harm on the ‘impetuous child’. It was as the boy said after all, for all of the talking it had done, the being from hell was actually just really weak and underwhelming.
With this fight being over before it began, it made him wonder if the other brethren the creature spoke of would be any more challenging. Arriving late to the party, Gawain felt something skulking along the treeline, sensing their malice even from where he was standing. Once they made their way into the light, it was quite clear to see that these beings were in no way naturally occurring mana beasts, but something warped and twisted, likely by the hands of the very demon he had just dethroned. Though they looked rather sinister, there was no way that they’d be in any way more powerful than their master. And since their master had been turned into bite-sized cubes for the rats to feed on, dealing with these things shouldn’t be all that hard by comparison. And that was when he felt another presence arriving at the scene, undoubtedly being the people assigned to this mission along with him unless there were even more demons here to make trouble.

Valo Stark
"Don't need a reason to seek strength."
Training could only do but so much.
Valo Stark found himself in a constant battle within himself, and mentally it left him exhausted. But not physically, no the magic knight didn't find himself getting physically exhausted that often. It was all mental for him. The former fire mage, in his early days as magic knight was constantly breaking through barriers of what people thought was his limit. Continuing to prove people wrong at every accomplishment he achieved, at the top of that list was his father. In his fathers eyes Valo was never supposed to be a Grand rank knight, he was never supposed to reach the upper echelon of magic knights in Clover. But now he did that, and what Valo feared most was this his limit. He didn't want it to be, he still felt like he had more to achieve something else to unlock within himself.
The past few weeks had been tough and oddly strange for the flame aura mage. First off he was no longer a member of the Green Mantis, a squad that he thought he would be the captain of one day. Now he was full fledged Black Bull, a squad that was pretty similar to his last one. There was a few reasons for the change. Number one the Black Bulls needed support, numbers had been small and the members that were active were actually doing more harm then good. With the Black Bulls having a number of black stars before Valo joined them. A personal request for Valo to change squads came in, and after some thought he took it. Number two this now left room for Sol to grow into his own. Sol was a powerful mage who was going to keep growing stronger and stronger, eventually someone of his potential would want to lead a squad one day Valo was only going to get in the way of that. Number three Valo wanted the challenge, switching squads meant he would start again at the bottom a Junior rank 5th class mage. Obviously he was much more than that in terms of power, but Gold stars didn't work that way. So now he had to reclaim all those stars and ranks he had once again, which to him would be fun.
After some busy work, he found himself at Senior ranking again with a decent amount of gold stars to his name. Still no where near what he had before. But now he wanted to take on more serious work, some very high rank missions that only few knights in Clover could do. So Valo woke up early this morning with a newfound energy, before he left his squad base though he made sure to check on the room right next to his. Agneya was still sleeping as she had been for the past few days.
The spirit, or former spirit now was no longer paired with the flame aura mage. Despite their compatibility and connection, they had failed to unlock spirit dive. The true reason for this being unknown to them at the moment. But Agneya herself was going through a change of sorts, she was getting bigger by the day no longer the size of a small house cat. At this point Valo didn't know exactly what was going on, he just hoped she was going to be okay. He let out a sigh as she slept soundly and peacefully.
Valo tried to not let the failure of not obtaining spirit dive keep him down. They both worked themselves tirelessly to the point of body exhaustion in order to obtain, but it always felt like something was in the way for them. He didn't like to think about it, instead focused on the journey to get to the location of the mission.
After some time he arrived, preparing himself for another encounter with Daemons. He doubted these would be anything like the ones he faced in Kikka, but still he prepared himself. He knew he was supposed to meet two others here, but heard some noises not to far off. Since he knew Daemons were in the area and they were trying to use the leylines in order to bring more of their kind here. Valo didn't wait for the others, instead he rushed to the scene, he moved like a blur avoiding the trees and other obstacles in his way. He arrived seeing a young man with silver ashen hair probably just a few years younger then him standing over the cut cubes of what looked like used to be a body. This young man had to be the other magic knight, and from the looks of it he had already defeated the Daemon that was here!
Valo was...intrigued. "You took him out already!? Haha! I'm impressed!" Valo said out loud with a fascinating look in his eyes. The young man was on the shorter end probably because of his age, with ashen hair and turquoise colored eyes. He had a Silver Eagle mantle on him, and other than that nothing else really stood out about the kid. Valo could sense the other threats coming their way via his ki sensory, but based on the speed of their movement he didn't really deem them threats so he didn't really give them his focus yet.
Instead Valo walked closer to the corpse or what was supposed to be one. His hand coming out of his long black cloak and reaching his chin. "Thats some nasty work there." Valo felt an odd sensation coming from the Daemon's grimoire, as if something was drawing him to it. but Valo ignored this for now. The enemies in the area were now approaching to attack. Valo simply clapped his hands softly, and brought his knuckles together activating a golem spell of his. Three flame like aura's jumped straight out of his own aura, and morphed into three warrior like golems with blue flames flowing off of them. 武道 (Budō / Martial Way) With a flick of Valo's fingers they each instantly went on the attack each of them striking a mongrel that got to close to their creator, crushing them in one blow. The flame aura mage looked completely unfazed by however many mongrels were left, not really considering them to be a threat at all.

Description: Wanting a set of golems that move faster and hit harder, he created the Budō. More humaniod in appearance than his usual creations, the Budō golems can stand about 2 meters tall in height. But their strength and speed are not to be taken lightly, they are used primarily for overwhelming offense that fight directly along side Valo. They attack with precise strikes, such as punches, kicks, elbow and knee strikes each attack having a trail of blue energy like flame behind it to inflict burning damage as well. Their attacks look similar to their masters own mimicking his movements precisely. They are also capable of flight, using flaming wings on their backs. Mostly used as a group following the ammo rules for golems at the senior rank, their attacks can almost look like a fiery dance while unleashing an onslaught of offensive maneuvers. The Budō can be used for transportation following the transportation guidelines for senior ranked golem spells. They fully respond to commands given by it's user through a mana connection and also verbally. Valo summons these golems by clapping his hands and then pressing his knuckles together.

“The name’s Gawain, his name was prince Pheasant or something, I don’t really remember. He wasn't around long enough for me to memorize his name as someone that mattered. But he said something that sounded pretty ominous.”
As he spoke, the boy aimed his fingers at one of the mongrels, shooting them down with a concentrated blast of air pressure small enough to just pierce a hole in its head and the chest of the one that stood behind it. As two of the rather ugly looking creatures dropped to the ground and swiftly ceased any and all movement, more of the mongrels were still swarming as the auric figures engaged with them in combat. Though he would keep his guard up just in case any of them broke through the lines established by the golems, the boy wandered closer to the magic knight as he looked him over. From the look of things, he could make out who this was relatively easily, what with him being Valo of the Black Bulls. This was one of the men and women on his list of potential rivals and people to beat if he was to ever become the best knight in the country.
That, and since he knew he was going to be here along with another mage from the Golden Dawn called Hinota, the fact that he wasn’t a woman more or less established him as the other man. Sometimes, deduction really was just that simple.
“Pheasant said that, while we were out here, his kin were out in various other regions preparing to do something or another to the ‘leylines’. While I don’t know particularly much about it yet, he made it sound like tampering with these lines would allow them to bring up more demons. And I’m assuming that is not what we want.”
Stating the obvious on the latter portion of his response, it made sense not to want any more demons to be wandering about as the ones he had seen or heard of so far had been rather… unproductive when it came to their dealings in human society. The witches forest had become destabilized by the presence of a very powerful demon, one which broadcasted their intentions all over the country at the time. When this happened, Gawain was not yet old enough, nor anywhere near strong enough to get into the Royal Knight program, though he would honestly have loved to give it a try. He knew Griswold had been part of a strike force that had brought down an archdemon, though that was one of the stories he kept under wraps and never really shared a whole lot about. Other than the fact that it had well and truly happened.
Knowing now that demons were creatures that could be taken on, beaten and even killed was why Gawain had not been afraid to take on the prince that had appeared here on this day. It made the boy wonder if Valo had dealt with demons before, or if maybe he hadn’t been of the level by the time the magic knights were requested to deliver their best. Even if he asked, he imagined the man wouldn’t talk about it, as there was a certain level of secrecy that surrounded these particular demons, as well as their dark dealings. Whatever the case, having some more hands-on knowledge when it came to dealing with these monstrosities was a welcome one, even though Gawain honestly just enjoyed fighting opponents that he was actually allowed to destroy. When it came to humans, there was always this silly rule where, if at all possible, bad guys and evil-doers had to be brought in and imprisoned as a punishment.
But when it came to Gawain, if he could ascertain that an individual was honestly just evil in its purest or most unhinged form, he just wanted to rip them out of reality by destroying every last trace of their being. Demons were, in and of itself, considered to be creatures spawned from a realm of evil that came into the human world to bring about as much chaos as possible. Due to this, imprisoning them was not exactly something most were after, though he could see how some occult weirdos might be up for capturing them alive. But in the sense of good and evil, Gawain was pretty straight forward and simple. He liked a good fight, he liked getting to cut loose and not need to hold back because he was dealing with another human being. And above all, he enjoyed destroying things that were just evil for the sake of evil.
“So unless the other woman is still on her way here, I suggest we round up the stragglers and get moving. I for one was not granted any spatial magics, so the best I can do is go by broom. But if there are truly more demons like Pheasant trying to conjure up an army, we’d better get going.”
With a flick of his hand and a release of mana, an altogether different blast of compressed air was released, this time taking the form of a crescent blade. Rushing forward quite rapidly and severing another of the mongrels from the waist down, or up depending on your point of view, the vast majority of these beings had been taken down a notch, leaving the area that much safer for it. But they were not entirely out of the woods yet, for as long as these demon-corrupted abominations wandered about, there was a chance that they might end up causing more trouble than they were worth. And as magic knights, as much as they needed to rush blindly into the next threat that awaited, they could not just leave a threat that was close by remain unattended. It was poor etiquette, or so he imagined.
“What are those things? Are they golems?”
Being rather interested in that form of magic as it was one of many things he had never learned how to do, he had always felt like being able to utilize golems would have done wonders when it came to supplementing his own style of combat. He was not the kind that would engage needlessly in hand to hand combat unless he wanted to scope out a foe while keeping as much of his own magic hidden, mostly because his magic was destructive enough to warrant the deaths of most foes he faced without having to go into such things. With illusion, defensive structure, healing and transformation magic also being on the list of things he could not do, getting to see others utilizing the things he lacked just hit something in him. The way he saw it, maybe by seeing it being used enough, he too might be able to learn how to do it, and do it well at some point in time.
For now however, he was more than fine with the things he could do as finetuning those took up far more time than he had imagined, but far less than other people had told him when he first became a knight. Things like those seemed to be common practice for those deemed to be a ‘prodigy’. Which reminded him, once this was all over with and a sense of normalcy returned to the kingdom, he should remember to ask Valo for a spar, if for no reason other than to figure out where he lacked and which areas held up better than he thought.
