The guardians were talking amongst themselves, speaking in hushed tones, those that could speak elvish could hear them speak about the ones that they captured. ”IF we bring them to the Elders...we might be able to get some better equipment for hunting...or better...they might tell us some stories about the time before the rifts…” ”Or...we could just cook them...they look edible enough, and if those books with the funny scribbles mean anything we might get taught some new skills…” The two squabble for a moment, the six others that were in the group did not say much, but kept their eyes on the prisoners as they transported them.
When Yuurei wakes up and begins asking questions in Elvish...they all look around to the man and stop the cart. The guardians all pointed their tridents at the man as the two in front that were acting as leaders were going to speak the silver cloak spoke again...then again. ”Hold on...you speak our language but are not one of us...before we answer your questions...you answer ours, dry skin.” The leader commanded as he pointed at the grimoires and the bow of Hanami’s ”Who sent you here to the most sacred of places...our home is guarded by the most secretive and high order of the three tribes...Was it the black one...did the laughing shadow create you to try and wipe us out. Answer me or be killed here!” The Atlantean guardian would command again, the group of warriors began to move their tridents towards the pair, not giving them a certain reach to their grimoires.
Pretty plain here you all. You are simply asked this question, it will resolve in either a pass...or combat will initiate on the next turn. You can take initiative and attack barehanded and try to recover your grimoires...or you do as they say and tell them everything and hope they believe you. The WC minimum is none this round, so soak it up or play it fast. There is no time limit this round either.

Yuurei had asked questions and in return, he would get a few tridents aimed in his direction. He would scratch the back of his head, but he couldn’t because he was tied up. Instead, he just looked around to see them all before moving his eyes towards the two that were talking. They would speak, but this time to him and he would propose something to Yuurei. He stood quietly as the leader of the group spoke once again. The noble heard the questions and the mentioned of the black one, which brought Yuurei to wonder if the black one was indeed the thing that took over Dio’s body.
“We were forced down here. As you can imagine you found us unconscious. A man or another dry skin like me was possessed by something. I can assume it’s the black one, but maybe I’m wrong on that. He did mention trying to revive himself but went I felt the darkness within him, it made me want to stop that from happening.” He paused for a second catching his breath.
“This man created a hole and we fell down here. All we truly want to do is stop him from destroying anything or even forcing his power on those around the world.” He said this to the Atlantean beings that were in front of him.
“If we were truly sent down here to do any harm, then you wouldn’t have found us unconscious to be captured.” He said to the group.
He would look over to Hanami and would smile at her.
“If you have any questions you can tell me and I will translate it to them.” He said this to Hanami and he would look at them as he had a few questions of his own.
“I do want to know more about this black one though. My friend had a dark aura around him, so maybe that is the same thing. And if you feel comfortable telling us where we’re headed.” He would ask them those two questions and waited for a response.
Anything Hanami had asked Yuurei would translate to them as well.
[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami's eyes darted back and forth between Yuurei and the strange amphibious creatures, they seemed to be communicating. As the tridents were pointed in the duo's direction she feared that the discussion was not going in their favour. However, having her captain turn and speak to her in the common tongue she would feel a little relieved it seemed he wish to translate for her, although she still wasn't entirely confident given the weapons that were pointed at them. Honestly she only really had one question, so she would ask it in a hushed tone, afraid that if she spoke too loudly they would take it as a sign of aggression.
"Are they working with the thing that seemed to possess Dio?" She'd query, a question more for Yuurei than the creatures themselves, she had little idea what was truly happening right now but she feared they too might be hiding some dark force within themselves. Although, if that were the case why they were not already extracting their magical power as the creature had said it would in order to revive itself left her even more uncertain. Everything was just incredibly confusing at this point for the young woman.

The guardians were talking amongst themselves, speaking in hushed tones, those that could speak up did so, but it seemed as though the Dry Skinned humans had indeed come from somewhere other than Atlantis proper. They did not release them just yet as the questioning continued. The Atlantean guardians were given the answers they wanted, so in turn Yuurei asked his in return, a simple give and take moment if you will.
”The black one...as you speak of...is the being that ruined the way of life for the people of Atlantis...it was a creation of our own, and the very demise of ours as well...the Elder’s will tell you more...As for what he is doing...I have no idea, and even the elders may be at a loss...as it is, we are fighting down here to just live and not die out...you could say that your coming here...was either good or bad timing.”
The Guardian would put away his spear before whistling to the group as they would at least cut them free, but tell Yuurei to remain on the cary, along with his companion. Afterwards the group would begin moving at an astonishingly quick pace, probably even faster than most mages the two have seen above the water’s surface.
An hour later the group would arrive at Shells Refuge A place the Atlanteans currently know as the hub of their species and their great home.
The Atlantean guardians are a part of a multi-tribal union where the beings that have been locked away for an unfathomable amount of time with the great city. A shell of what their ancestors were. After the brief incident with the first encounter the party will be brought to the Council’s home. A place at the top of crowded modern looking cityscape that is at the bottom of the chasm. The lighting here is dim and it looks to be coming from the same torches from the stairway at the Water temple. The players are then sat down in front of the three elders; Tskumi, Kariko, and Juun.
This part of the journey is where the meat of the adventure will begin to take place. The group is available to ask at most two questions of the three elders...as a collective, not each person or each elder. Your two questions will be answered in their fullest capacity before moving on. This section of the adventure should be about 2,000 words Max.

Yuurei would hear what the Atlantean had said to him and he would nod as he could see that they did not have all details he wanted. It was fine, and it seemed like they might need some help with things that were going down here. It also seemed that the thing possessing Dio was a problem for them and might still be a problem for them. He would hear the signal and with that, he and Hanami would be free from their captivity. That was good, but he would remain calm as he would look at them all.
“Thank you.” He said to them as he looked over to Hanami as he figured he would explain the situation.
“It seems that the thing that has possessed Dio is what they called the black one. They are most likely taking us to the Elder so we can get more information out of him. After that, I guess we should help them out on destroying this thing as I figured it is our only way to go home, and well if we can stop someone from destroying the world then I don’t mind taking him out of the picture as well.” He said to Hanami with a smile on his face.
He would rub his wrist as they had tied them tightly, and rubbing these certain spots felt good to do. The speed would pick up from the transportation and he figured that he would speak to Hanami for a bit.
“I will do everything I can to protect you, but make sure that you take on the best decision you can. Your life and my life depends on it. I will do the same as well.” He said to her with a serious look on his face, but he knew that she would be fine.
It wouldn’t take long, but the group would arrive at their destination. The Silver Tempest looked everywhere as his eyes open wide at the beauty that was down here. His head tilted upward as it moved around to take everything in.
“Beautiful, who knew this existed down here.” He said out loud as he was moving with their escorts.
Yuurei also noticed the only way home was to go up as he could see that there were lights coming from above, and well they fell from above. Their pacing was smooth as they would be taken into the home of the councils. The Silver Eagle’s captain would bow to three people who seemed to have been the leaders of the Atlantean, and he would take a seat in front of them. His status meant nothing here, but he would hope that his power would be able to do something for them instead.
His eyes moved towards Kariko as she was a beauty amongst them and he didn’t think they would look like that. Of course, he would cough slightly as he knew there was no time for such an act. He instead looked at them and figured he would speak in their native tongue as he wasn’t sure if they could speak his native tongue.
“I have asked the Atlanteans guards what they knew about the black one, but I was told you guys would be able to answer that for me. A friend of ours has possibly been taken over by this black one as there was a dark aura around him.” He said to the elders wondering what they would say to him.
He would look over to Hanami and would see if she had a question for them. If they didn’t understand her question, he would translate it to them, so they would understand and hear it.
[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami still didn't fully understand what was going on, but the creatures seemed a little less hostile as they continued to converse with her captain. That was enough for her to drop her guard for now, letting herself relax a little despite still being tied up for now. From what she could tell they were at least not their true enemy, if they were she was certain Yuurei wouldn't have hesitated to attack them on the spot or command her to protect herself. It wasn't until the creatures freed them from their bindings and her captain turned to explained things to her properly that she started to completely understand their situation. She found herself also rubbing her wrists where her bindings had once been, but it was honestly not much compared to the pain she had received simply training her bowman-ship as a young girl.
Her mind drifted to thoughts of how useful it was that her captain was able to translate for her, she would have to get him to teach her this language sometime, but for now she would simply let him do the job. She had to quickly bring herself back down the earth as he gave her a serious look, she had missed some of what he had said but she had gotten the gist of the message and she'd simply nod in response to let him know she had heard him.
The home of the strange creatures was unlike anything Hanami had ever laid eyes upon, once more she found herself trying to commit the entire vision to memory with the hopes of having an opportunity to paint at some point, it would definitely make for an amazing piece of art. Hearing Yuurei call it beautiful, she couldn't help but agree with a small nod. As they finally arrived in front of the elders, her captain would bow to them and she would mimic the action as well, although whether their customs were the same as those on the surface she couldn't be sure. Cultural differences was something she had grown used to expecting over her time in the Clover Kingdom. "Ah, um, I guess, I am interested in if you know if there's a way to defeat the one you call 'the black one'?" Hanami spoke slowly, so she could pronounce things properly so that Yuurei, and in turn the elders, would not misunderstand her. However, she couldn't help but blush slightly as she knew how stupid her question truly sounded. Surely if they knew of a way they would have already done so. However, there was always the possibility that there was a method, but they personally had no means of being able to do so. Just because they were limited in their ability to deal with a situation didn't mean that it was impossible for others like Yuurei and herself to deal with the problem instead.

As the two were sat down before the Elders, they would look at the guardians before their leader would approach and give details of the events that had transpired. The female Elder would smile and see the male that was led into the chamber before giving him a wink. The other two elders did not notice this but once everything was said and done, Yuurei and Hanami asked their questions in a very quick and concise manner. The elders would nod before finally raising their hands, each smiling as the first one, the older looking male with the white hair would be the first to speak apparently.
”Welcome to our humble home first of all...I heard that your journey was...difficult. So I am not as fluent in common as my sister...but I will do my best. (He splits off here to say something in a more primordial language in which the other two elders both nod). My name is Juun. I am the oldest of the three Elders, and champion of the Western tribe. (The bigger Atlantean behind him scoffs at this greeting.) The Black one that you two speak of...is something that our ancestors created. Long before the kingdoms of man were established on land Atlantis ruled as a gleaming gem, but for all the polish and advancement in magical knowledge and science...we created something terrifyingly powerful, enough so that the great kingdom we all reside in here...this...dead place...was sunk to protect the world.” Juun would sigh as the female elder spoke up, placing a hand on her brother’s shoulder. The two would speak in that ancient language before she finally spoke up. ”Sorry...my brother does not know the language as well as he thinks...The event he speaks of is known as the Calamity, well not so much as an event, but more of an actual being...it exists in a non tangible form until it reacts with a certain type of mana, we found associated with the Atlantean people. Atlantis was swept beneath the waves due to the releasing of the Calamity by a madman that the king had ordered to create a piece of weaponry in case the humans...you grew out of hand, this came in the form of researching specific mana signatures and formulae which led us to a sudden boom in exploration of the depths in which we found a chest... The stories passed down tell of it being as old as the primordial and raw cardinal elements; Fire, water, earth, and air. It was awakened when the ancestors found a way to harness pure mana energy and use it as a weapon, thus creating the Pure Aura element that we know today, using it on the box that the Calamity was sealed in caused it to explode and be renewed with an energy not seen since the creation of the world. The Calamity took control of many warriors and began to ransack the city as a way to feed off the energy. As Atlanteans began to succumb to the being and allow it to warp their mind and body the great leader of Atlantis did the last thing he could do...a mutual destruction so that the being may forever be trapped along with them. The king sank Atlantis killing millions including himself, the ones that were left...well they fled to the chasms created by the sinking leading to where they were now…” The female elder sighed as she looked at her brother who simply nodded, before looking to the rough and large Atlantean who seemed to want to challenge Yuurei as he never took his eyes of the male...the last elder stepped forward.
”What Kariko and Juun haven’t said is that there is a way out, but all attempts have proven to be useless...we don't have magic, and our own fighting abilities dwindle with each generation...The Chasm Crawlers...great big bastards that live down here are a means of transportation and bringing the fight to them, but there is a catch. Taming them only works if you are stronger than their own will. They may be monsters, but hell they have more brains than the three of us combined...My name by the way is Tskumi, I am the warrior elder and hold over the northern tribe. When Tskumi finished he pulled out an old drawing of the Chasm Crawler and handed it to Yuurei, he was entrusting them with the possibility of getting out of there. Finally as he took a seat a great rumble would shake the elder’s chambers causing them all to sigh and look at the two of them.
Kariko spoke up once more.
”It seems that The Calamity has become strong enough to begin raising Atlantis...if this happens...not only are we doomed to perish here...but the world will know an evil unlike any other. We have answered your questions...please tell us who this man that trapped you all down here is and if you know anything as to how he became this vessel for the Calamity?” She asked in a worried tone, there were a few raised voices outside as Juun would look alarmed for a moment before getting up to go check what was going on out there himself.
Players will need to do a cumulative WC of 1000 words to move on from this event.

Yuurei heard Hanami’s question and he would feel that question was just fine. It was a good thing as they might send them on an adventure to getting what they need to defeat this monster that ruined their lives. He nodded to the older elder as he explained about the black one and of course introduce himself. This was good to know that this kingdom was indeed an ancient city that sunk into the bottom of the ocean. His eyes would shift to the woman as she was the next to speak. Her explanation was a bit deeper and it was how the black one had come to be. This was interesting and he started to understand how it was able to take over Dio just fine.
Of course, it seemed like in the past it had done the same thing to the Atlanteans, which is why their city was submerged in water. The Silver Tempest’s eyes would shift towards the third elder who spoke and he would listen to what he had said to him. They seemed to have wanted to leave this place, or at least have a choice to do so, but they couldn’t. He understood now how they were going to have to get out of here and that was good. It became quiet for a second as he was handed a picture of what chasm crawler looked like. His eyes examined the creature as it looked strong enough to hold a bunch of people on his back. The noble would hand it over to Hanami so she could get a view of what he was looking at, so they knew what they would be looking for.
And then he was asked how Dio had been possessed by the Calamity. He looked at her as he was thinking about the question and to all the information before their mission. It wasn’t a lot, but it made a lot of sense on how Dio had come back alive after the event the research team had run into.
“First it is nice to meet you, Kariko, Juun, and Tskumi. I’m glad that you have given us information even though we just met. I definitely don’t want this Calamity to unleash any evil in the world of the land.” He paused for a second.
“Hopefully if we succeed in taking care of this mess you guys will be able to reach the surface and see what it's like today. As for how he became the vessel, all I gathered from the mission was that a bunch of researchers had gone into what’s called the Water Temple. A place in the water with humans that live inside of it. They were searching through the place and it seemed that they found a particular area that led down into an unexplored area. The group had found something and while all the mages that were there Dio, the man who was taken over by the calamity, had stood to fight. He of course came back without being harmed, which makes sense now.” He explained to her.
“He used his greed to take over his body, but he did tell us that he planned on raising this place from the grave and take control of all life. And he also said something about the mana we have it would be enough to create an avatar out of the man he was possessing.” He said as he had tried to remember everything that had been said to him and everything he read.
[attr="class","hanatextd"]A being so powerful the creators of it would sink cities to try to keep it from destroying the rest of the world? Hanami was left speechless to say the least as the first of the elders introduced and gave his small speech. Her mind racing as she tried to comprehend just how strong 'the black one' truly was if not even an army of the amphibious creatures before them could contain them and their power without implementing such drastic measures. Her worries only growing more fearsome as the female elder corrected some of the words spoken, explaining further just what their enemy was. The Calamity. A beast that had caused these people the pain and anguish of never being able to return to the surface where they had once lived, all because they were fearful of humans at the time.
Not only that but it didn't seem there was to be a simple solution to their predicament. Sure Yuurei and herself were capable of the magic that these creatures seemed to be lacking in. But it sounded to her that in order to even get where they needed to be they would have to attempt to tame creatures that even the elders struggled with? The permeation mage was beginning to believe this may just end up being the end of the world after all. It was all starting to seem incredibly hopeless. Only bothering to glance briefly at the image of the cavern crawler as it was handed over to Yuurei, instead focusing once more on her own thoughts, continuing to contemplate things as her captain spoke in return, giving them what little information they had gathered up until this point. Honestly it was all starting to feel incredibly overwhelming, and if she were not with someone as powerful as her captain she surely would have lost all hope completely by this point.
Her lilac eyes would glance momentarily towards her partner for this mission, he seemed far more calm and collected than she was, was he that confident in his abilities? Or was it simply all an act in order to help ease the tension of others around him? Regardless it did help the permeation mage somewhat as she'd take a deep breath to calm her nerves before trying to think more rationally rather than with a panic filled mind. Perhaps if they were given access to the original creation chambers of the creature they could find some kind of clue or information that would help them understand how it was created and in turn how to destroy it.
The young mage would wait till her captain finished speaking before interrupting the conversation as politely as she could, not wishing to offend anyone.
"Excuse but, is there perhaps location of the calamity's..." she'd pause trying to think of the right word in the common tongue, "forming?" She'd question, looking a little apprehensive at her failure at the common tongue, perhaps even worse than that of the male elder that had spoken first, "It could be useful proving." She added, to try to get her point across, hoping they would understand the gist of what she was trying to say.

The silver robed male answered their questions quickly and earnestly as he also greeted them. The three elders each respond in nods and Juun answers Hanami’s question. While also raising an eyebrow. The other two Elder’s look a bit worried as the commotion outside grows louder. ”The Calamity is a natural...primordial entity that we learned to harness and house here in Atlantis...think of the old adage of Pandora’s box...we were trying to seal the evil and harness its power...but it did not work in our advantage…” He would say as Tskumi would walk out of the Elder’s house joining Juun, leaving the group with Kariko they each looked like they knew what was happened. Tskumi and Juun both came back, escorted by a few of the guardians, all three would each other and then to the mages before them. The commotion outside sounded just like a battle, or a roaring wave, the putrid stench of death began to fill the air.
”You were followed...The gods have brought upon us tribulation…” She said as Juun already reached over behind his seat and grabbed a rather ornate looking sword as Tskumi came back in and handed the mages their grimoires. ”Time for you to earn your answers, stand and fight. Kariko, begin rounding up as many as you can to evacuate, Juun go and take a few guardians and help her...these ones will help me...for the hope of all Atlantis…” He would say as all three Elders parted ways, Tskumi would lead the group outside.
Outside it looked like hell was approaching, riding attop darkened streams of mis, mechanical monstrosities, and even decayed creatures of the deep...the monsters approached. Tskumi grit his teeth before blowing a war horn with such a wind that it would echo throughout the canyon. Once he pulled the horn away, others would blow as guardians seemed to rise up to get ready for battle. ”The Sunken have invaded...I hope you don't have an easy stomach...this will not be an easy fight…
The Sunken are the corrupted Atlanteans from the ancient city. Dio’s return with the players has been a carefully laid trap between The “Calamity” and its host. They tracked the players to the remaining Atlantean village and have started to swarm and do what they do best...kill.
The Sunken all generally look similar with one or two being bloated or more rotten than the others. They attack with Dark Magic and are as strong as the average of all players combined. The total number of enemies is numbered in the hundreds, the players do not have to win the entire battle, but they do have to survive for three posts or 2,000 Words, whichever comes first. Then a secret passage is revealed out of the village by Juun so that the players can escape while the Atlanteans fight to the finish, seemingly till their end. Juun will entrust to the players a key...passed down from the first surviving elders...This key will finish what the king had started by destroying the crystal at the center tower in the heart of Atlantis.

Yuurei heard where the source had truly come from and he would only shake his head. He understood it was a mistake of the old, but damn people in this world truly wanted more power. They never learned from what he could tell and it seems that they had paid a harsh consequence. Now it seemed like something was happening again and they were going to stop it. The noble felt something that was happening from the distance. There were large spikes of mana coming from a certain direction and the appearance of the two elders coming back into the room would show that something was totally wrong. When he heard the woman speak up and he sighed as it seemed like shit was about to go down, he looked over to Hanami with a serious look on his face.
“It seems like there are things we have to do here. I for one don’t want to be stuck here and let something called the Calamity to destroy our kingdom.” He said to Hanami as smiled at Tskumi was he was wondering when he was going to get his grimoire back.
When he heard the elder speak he would nod as he was going to do exactly that even if they didn’t want his help.
“You got that right. I plan on showing this Calamity that it was messing with the wrong pair of mages.” He said to Tskumi as he would follow behind the man as he was on the move.
When they reached outside, Yuurei would look around to see how things looked right now. While he did that, he would cover his ears quickly when he heard the horn being blown by Tskumi. That was something he wasn’t used to, so it had caught him off guard. When it stopped he heard the man speak once more, and he would nod as he would start feeling a bunch of mana of similar darkness rushing towards them.
It was then that he would see the Sunken appearing. The guardians would shout as they screamed before heading into battle. Yuurei would sense one for the creature from behind him as if he was being a sneaky one. They had found one of their prey and it was Yuurei. That was when the creature lunged towards the Silver Eagle Captain. The noble had his grimoire in the air a bit before this though and it was flipping through pages and when it got to a certain spell he was ready for what had happened next.
“Wind Magic: Rashoumon.” He said this as a bunch of wind would move around him, and would solidify to create a wall to block the creature's attack.
Yuurei of course didn’t just put this wall on himself but placed it on Hanami, and any of the elders that were around him. The wind mage turned to look at the creature that attacked him and he could see that it was hideous indeed. Its features were creepy and the fact that it wore armor told him they weren’t stupid beings either. Their mana signature was different than the Atlantean, which allowed him to feel the difference between them now.
“There is no way you guys get to do whatever you want. Tskumi you should be protected by magic, so go wild and do what you need to do.” He said out loud as he was smiling at the elder.
It was then that his grimoire would flip to another page as they were going to do their best to help out these people.
“Wind Magic: Bahamut, Feilian, Pazuzu.” He said this as three different golems would come out from his grimoire.
There would be seventeen Feilians and Pazuzus in the air, and eight Bahamuts would appear alongside them. Yuurei would give them their orders as one of the Bahamuts would soar down on the Sunken that had attempted to attack Yuurei. It would clash it’s fist straight down on the monstrosity as it would connect causing the creature to hit the ground and screech from the pain before becoming incapacitated from the blow. Yuurei would stand where he was as he had allowed his small militia to run wild.
“There are a lot of these creatures running around this place and I mean a lot. Do all that you can to make sure that we take out most of them Hanami.” He said to her as his golems would go around at full speed in the air.
They would soar down slashing through the Sunkens that were fighting against the Atlanteans. Some of them were indeed slow and those were the ones that his light golems would go after. Bahamuts had done what they needed to do as they would slash and punch through a few of the Sunkens that were there. Yuurei would see that a few of them would get through still and would attack him. He of course moved from side to side as he didn’t want to move around too much. The first Bahamut that had crushed the Sunken near him still being around. That golem would help Yuurei in the battle around him.
The noble wanted to expend more of his mana but felt that there was no need to right now as he wasn’t the only mage that was here. The Silver Tempest figured he could use another spell, but it was too destructive and he didn’t want to cause unnecessary destruction to their home.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami nodded silently in response to her captain's words as she her mind wandered momentarily to thoughts on what was worrying the elders so much. She simply assumed at first that it was simply just a small dispute between a few members of the clans. Being forced to live the way they did would not be an easy thing for anyone, so that kind of thing was probably more common than up on the surface. However, she couldn't help but shake an uneasy feeling growing in the pit of her stomach as she listened to the answers of the elders.
A feeling that only grew as she saw one of the elders pick up their weapon, to require such a thing must have been more than just an argument between the people down here. As if on instinct Hanami would also prepare herself, releasing her grimoire beside her as she prepared for the worst. Soon enough they would learn the true cause of the disruptions. Those the elders labelled 'The Sunken' a name aptly given all things considered. Still, she wasn't sure just what to expect at first, until she spied the first of their enemies, a creature seemingly corrupted by the calamity, a minion of their true foe.
She could do nothing but stare blankly at the creatures that their mounted monstrosities as they charged towards them, it was vision unlike any she had personally experienced before. Was this what war was like? She had no clue, she was new to all of this. However, she would find herself glancing towards Yuurei, while she was still inexperienced, the man beside her was a well known seasoned warrior. Her captain would know better than most what this kind of thing was like and how to handle a situation such as this. At least that was her assumption.
Sure enough without further words he would already start to summon forth his mana, casting a spell in order to block any incoming attacks. A move that quickly snapped the permeation mage out of her pointless thoughts as she quickly did the same, calling forth her own magic through her fingertips as her mana manifested itself into multiple identical painted creatures.
"Animated Illustration" Hanami chanted as she summoned them forth. This time they took the form of foxes, swift and cunning creatures, their bodies swirling with the paint that formed their bodies as she tried to figure out the best plan of attack or defence. However, before she could come up with a strategy it seemed her captain already had one, giving her orders which she would nod in agreement.
"Strike the enemy!" She'd command simply to her own golems. Instructions they took without hesitation, the creatures nothing more than hollow shells forced to do their master's bidding. The fox like paintings would fly forth, attacking the closest of the enemies in an attempt to protect their master and her allies from those that charged forth. She wasn't incredibly powerful, but she hoped it was more than enough to keep them safe in combination with her captain's magic.

The attack was underway, guardians fighting their hardest against the horde that moved like a singular unit...a wave of destruction. As Yuurei summoned his golems, the Sunken reacted, moving out of the way of their attacks for the most part, a few of them being destroyed in the grand picture...it did not take long for the Sunken to work together to find a way to latch onto the golems, their pure aura, reaching out and grabbing them before pulling them down. Swarming over them like ants on a scrap of food. It was madness to say the least, with the illusions however...they had more problems the closer they got to the group at the Elder’s home.
Tskumi would look back at them and grin as he raised his weapon into the sky, a great battlecry coming from his lips. ”THIS IS IT! FOR THE HOPE OF ALL THE WORLD AND OUR PRIDE AS ATLANTEANS! FIGHT BACK HERE...HOLD THEM HERE...STOP THE CALAMITY!” He roared out as in unison the guardians and even just able bodied atlanteans began to pour out of the city and into the battlefield. Tskumi would lead the charge as he would clash against the wave of Sunken. His blade cut deeply into their bodies, some even being cut cleanly in half. It was beginning to look like they would be able to win this fight, but something felt off.
On either side of the two mages left near the elder’s home it seemed a few Sunken had been able to move through the illusion. Ten total of the bastard dead lashed out using an attack spell. In unison they fired off Pure Aura blasts aimed directly at them moving at a speed of 40 m/s and a damage output of [Senior] With each blast. A direct hit by these ten in unison would be the death of either, or both mages. They would need to react, but if the attack failed and the Sunken were foiled, they would lunge at them, Pure Aura boosting their movements to 25 m/s to slash at them with their claws that would deal [Senior] Rank in damage. Six aimed for Yuurei, four aimed for Hanami.
New Round, No Word count requirements, you both are being attacked by a group of these Sunken.

Yuurei would see that the Atlenteans were ready to fight as they would put their lives on the line as they went into battle. The Krane had decided that it was best to make sure that he kept Tsumki alive for the sake of keeping the leadership of what they held from opening. He would see that things were going quite well. A number of his golems have killed a bunch of those Sunken creatures throughout the battlefield. It just felt like a huge war had broken out right before their eyes and it was because of them. His golems would be destroyed by the Sunkens as they had jumped the large number of golems that he had summoned. It hurt him to see something like this happened, but he figured he would summon them right back when he needed to.
While all of this was happening, it seemed like something else was happening altogether. Yuurei would be able to feel the mana presence of a bunch of creatures coming from both sides of the area. That was the smart thing to do, but he at least would be able to spot them out throughout the area. He would chuckle a bit as he figured surprised attacks would happen as it had happened to him at the beginning of the fight. Still, there would be attacks coming from these monsters, but Yuurei would stand his ground because there was no need for him to run around and waste his energy. Instead, the wind would form around him solidifying and blocking the six attacks that had struck against him. His eyes scanned towards the direction of where those attacks had come from.
It would be the same for Hanami as well as his defensive spell was placed on her as well. Now that he knew where they were, he would do what he planned on doing this entire time when he saw his golems being taken out. The Silver Tempest would summon his Bahamuts once again; there would be eight of them as they were in the sky as the group of Sunkens was rushing towards him at this moment. His eyes scanning at each and every one of them. There were six of them of course, as the other four were going towards a different direction.
“Six of you attack the Sunkens coming towards me at full speed, and once you land your attack move back into the sky. The same goes for the last remaining two. Attack two of the Sunkens going after Hanami.” He said this as the eight Bahamuts would soar through the sky and towards the six Sunkens at 57 meters per second.
They would come from the sky and they would attempt to slash the Sunkens that were heading towards his direction. If any of the Sunkens made it passed Yuurei’s golems and made their way towards Yuurei his wind wall would solidify itself and protected him from the direction of their attacks, the same for Hanami.
He wondered how things were going to go from there as he knew that things would be getting interesting here. If more were to try to sneak in and get close to the two mages, then they would just have to focus their magic in a specific location and fight them off.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami was especially thankful for her captain's defensive abilities as the onslaught began, while most of the sunken seemed to start attacking their golems, completely covering them as they would soon, one after the other eventually fall to their enemy. It had at least slowed down the mob if nothing else, but it seemed a few had managed to slip through, sending a barrage of attacks from behind that would soon collide with the wind that defended them. Now alerted to their presence, Hanami would turn to deal with them rather than those further away once more calling forth her mana.
"Animated Illustration!" the permeation mage chanted as a mixture of paint and mana poured from her fingertips, forming a small band of painted foxes once more, these ones much less beautiful than the last as the visions of the grotesque fallen filled her mind during the creation process. It didn't matter what they looked like however as she'd command them forth to protect and attack those that charged towards her. The group of golems moving swiftly to defend their master to the best of their abilities.
