With the Water Grand Mana Zone no longer under occupation by Diamond, things have started to return to normal at the Water Temple, great festivals, events to show the power of Clover, and impromptu theatre performances. The place was alive and well as the once bland and grey sea now looked vibrant and healthy. The leader of the temple and the ruler of this undersea utopia came to an accord on allowing outsiders back into the seabed city and even train inside the temple, but on the condition that they help with restoration if needed.
But something is happening beneath the depths of the Seabed...something that nobody was ready for.
The people of the undersea city have invited Magic Knights, researchers, and envoys back down to the city to celebrate. All is well and fine until a magic knight team led by the enigmatic researcher, Dio of the Purple Orca, discovered a section of the Water Temple that has been significantly altered during the wartime occupation. A depression in the lowest level was excavated to reveal a staircase made of orichalculm with weird flameless torches lining the 2 meter tall by 2 meter wide walls. Dio led his party down and what they found was something...ancient…A great city lie beneath the temple and city proper where the buildings still stood and water still flowed, it was damp and warm as they investigated the landing the staircase led out to. As they looked out upon the horizon they noticed that the tower that stood out in the center of the vast city was emanating a blazing blue light shining with such an intensity that Dio penned it as crystalized fire. As the party stepped towards the edge of the landing a great creature rose up from the canyon below. The creature was so frightening that the other members of the party ran in fear back up the staircase leaving Dio there to face off against the creature.
Returning to the surface of the Water Temple the party of the cowardly magic knights all began to talk amongst themselves as they did not know what to do...a Surprise welcomed by a yelp as the knights saw Dio come back up from the depths. Simple words were exchanged before Dio simply led the team back out of the Temple and to an envoy.
It was time for conquest…
Aris Avalon and Dio Diamante sat at the Royal Road Tavern in the bustling tourist city. The place was rented out for the day as the request they sent out for aid had been met with a confirmation of who would be joining them that day for the conquest expedition in the Water Temple. These two men hated the waiting game almost as much as they hated Diamond...it was not easy to sit still while riches and mystery were beneath the waves.
REQUIREMENTS FOR INTRO:
As your party arrives one by one in the Large tourist port of Neyes, please take this intro post (no need for more than 500 words each) to explain how your character has received the summons for conquest and has been hired by Aris and Dio (Pictures Below)

The visitation from the Water Temple had been one of the new things that a lot of the Magic Knights had been talking about. It seemed that a selective few had gotten the right to visit it, and after further investigation, it would seem as if they had discovered something. It seemed that the Wizard King would send a letter to Yuurei asking him to go to the Water Temple directly for an expedition within the new area. The noble was excited about this and it was because he was usually the first to jump on an adventure into dungeons, or anything that was dangerous. The ability to check out things and report back to his Wizard King was something he was glad to do. Still, he wasn’t to go alone, which brought the Captain, to bring along someone.
He wanted to bring his cousins with him, but when he remembered that they were off handling things again, he decided that his next best option was Hanami. They would make their way to their king and with that, he gets someone to take them to the port of Neyes. There were a lot of people here and it seemed like it was quite lively. Yuurei would have one item with him and it would be the ring that he had gotten a long time ago. He should have brought the Bangle with him, but there was no time.
“Hanami we are supposed to find these two men who are going to lead us on this expedition. From what the Wizard King told me, they should be at the Tavern.” He said this to her as he was moving along the streets looking for their destination.
The Wind mage wouldn’t take long to find a Tavern, but not sure if it was the right one decided to go inside anyways. When he entered the place he could see that there was nobody inside of here. It would seem that people had rented it out to themselves, which meant they were pretty wealthy. Yuurei’s clothing attire was simple. He wore no shirt and his mantle barely covered anything as it went over his shoulder. Yuurei would look to see that there were two men in this tavern, besides the bartender himself.
One looked like he was from Purple Orca and he was wearing the Mantle. Yuurei would walk towards them and wondered if they could help them out with were the people that requested backup. Little did Yuurei know, that these were the two men who were behind the request.
“Hey do you guys who asked for more help on the expedition. We’ve arrived as requested. My name is Yuurei Krane, head of the Krane family, and captain of the Silver Eagles. Could you help us out?” He asked waiting for an answer.

[attr="class","hanatextd"] Hanami had been practising her archery skills when she had received word that she had been summoned by her superior. She would quickly pack away her things, slinging her quiver of arrows over one shoulder before racing to her captain's office where he had briefed her over what he knew about things. It appeared they didn't have much to go off of, but they were to meet two men who would escort them to some sort of Water Temple. Not being of this country, the young woman didn't know much, but she did know that they spirits were worshipped here for their power and even she was smart enough to put the terms temple and worship together.
Hanami didn't hesitate to accept her duties to the kingdom, giving her oath to her captain that she would not let him down. Due to time being a factor, she didn't have time to change out of her training uniform consisting of basic cotton clothing, and she was thankful she had donned her magic knight mantle at all times, even during practise. Regardless, she found herself feeling somewhat under-dressed within the noble region as they made their way to the local tavern to meet their escorts.
Stepping inside, Hanami would be surprised to see the place so empty. She had been here a few times and was used to seeing it much more lively, although, not in the same way a tavern might be in the common region; there was just usually at least a bard playing music and people chattering happily amongst themselves as they drunk their expensive wines. The setting however, did make it incredibly easy to find who they were looking for, following her captain as they approached, letting him do the talking as she stood beside him quietly, carefully observing their body language as they all interacted.

Aris Avalon, and Dio Diamante would introduce themselves and greet the ones going on the journey...a bit surprised about the size of the group, but Dio just grins for a moment, a look in his eyes before finally snapping back to it.
Dio gives the players a rundown of what he found inside the water temple; Inside the water temple at its lowest level it was discovered that the former occupation forces of diamond had set up some sort of dig site that was littered with old artifacts and broken pieces of technology. Ancient waterlogged grimoire with languages never seen before, mechanical eyeballs, and even weapons and armor made of a mysterious ore that almost looked like rust.
Dio seems hopeful that a small expedition could lead to Clover reaching that next level in superior wartime technology. After all, the daemon threat may be still looming or something more sinister may wait at their borders. Better safe than sorry.
The party is informed of the situation at the Seabed village and of the preliminary findings, but in order to get there, Aris is going to use his transportation spell to get them through the turbulent waters safely.
Once the group arrives, maybe a little more seasick than when they started, Dio will excuse himself from the group as he will make his way to the Water Temple. Aris will guide the party to the Grand Elder, Maxis and his group of advisors that are very eager to hear about the world Topside since the end of the war. Grand Elder Maxis is particularly interested in the arts and wishes to connect to the ancient twins of song and dance...an old story passed from generation to generation about two Twins that could captivate thousands with simple movements and song.
There is much free form for you to use here as players and can roleplay it out as you wish. However, unless the requirements are met with what they are looking for, chances are that you will have to repeat this section if it is deemed unsatisfactory. A 500 Word Count post will be needed by each participant to describe their journey to the grand Magic Zone by way of a water spell “The last Voyage” creating a grand ship using supplementary construction spell by the NPC Aris. Once at the seabed and inside the city, the players will have to perform an act of goodwill (a dance, a song, or a piece of art) totalling up to 500 Word Count per player before the seabed city residents agree to let the players navigate the town freely. Aris gives Dio the go ahead to begin the conquest and the party is ushered towards the Water Temple and told about the depression at the bottom of the temple, and the fight the residents had to endure when the Five Year War ended.
Grand total of 1,000 Words per player. To move on from this area and into the Water Temple .

Yuurei would hear the name of the two men that would guide them to their destination. He would hear the information that was given by the Dio who had explained what the Diamond Kingdom had been doing inside of the Water Temple when they were at war. he explained how they were hoping to be able to get deeper and hope to find something that would help out against the daemon that roamed their kingdom. He understood the situation they were and was glad to help out and hopefully get through their findings in one piece.
That was good and it seemed like they were quick to get moving. They would exit the tavern as a group and their movements would lead them to the sea. He would look at the two of them and wonder what was going to happen. He would see Aris’s grimoire move into the air, and he would soon create a whole ship made out of water. It was amazing to see this and Yuurei would be excited to see this creation in front of him.
“I got to say this is a cool ability.” He said complimenting the man, but it was how he was.
“This right here is called The Last Voyage. Now let’s get on the ship so we can set sail to our destination.” He said to everybody.
Yuurei would nod as he would watch the two men board the ship first before he would do the same thing. When he did he would look around the area to see that the design of the ship made out of the water he was using. This reminded him of the time when he had gone sailing with a friend and it led them to a dungeon that was blocked off from kingdom by some crazy storm. His attention would move straight to Hanami with a smile on his face.
“I hope you aren’t seasick.” He said as had given her a nervous chuckle as he didn’t ask her before this started.
The noble would feel the ship moving from where they were and it was good to go. While he was looking around the ship, Yuurei had thought about one thing. How were going to get down to the water temple? He didn’t see the ship sealed from water coming in, so it would mean they would drown right? It made him a bit nervous and when he asked Aris, the man only told him that he would see what was going to happen when they got there.
Yuurei would walk back to Hanami and figured he would make a little conversation.
“So, I see you prepared yourself with what you wearing. Got to make sure that we’re prepared for anything and everything.” He said to Hanami with a smile on his face.
It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would start feeling the ship shaking. It came so suddenly, that it surprised him and his grimoire would float into the air as he was getting ready to protect those he could right now. Still, what he noticed was that the ship was descending into the water. His eyes widen as he wasn’t going to drown here. Of course, he calmed down when he saw water appearing around the ship to cover them from drowning. He would sigh from this as didn’t like surprises but was glad they were safe.
The ship moved underwater as it sailed through the sea, going deeper and deeper towards its destination. Yuurei would see a different life within the sea and it was beautiful. The different fishes that were moving around and some that he had never seen before. Their travel inside of the water wouldn’t take long, but they would soon arrive in the city.
The Silver Tempest would hop off the ship, but as soon as he did he would notice one thing and it was that they were surrounded by a bunch of people that resided within this city. They looked excited to see new humans enter their home, and to them, they could see that these two were strong mages as well. There were a lot of people talking at the same time, so it made it hard for Yuurei to hear anything at first. He was waving at everybody as he had a huge smile on his face. The Krane had never been greeted like this in a while, and it was a nice feeling. Still, he wanted to get a path clear, which didn’t seem like it was happening right now.
“I guess we’re stuck here for a bit.” He said this to Hanami and the other two.
It wouldn’t take long, but a voice came out clearer than everybody within the crowd. He wasn’t sure how that happened, but he was glad to be able to hear something.
“Show us a good performance, we want to see or hear what people from the surface enjoy.” He heard that, and he understood what he meant.
He remembered that Hanami was a painter, so she could probably draw for them. As for him, he didn’t have anything to show them, maybe he could create a map of their city, so they could see their home from a different point of view? Well, he could do that, but if he had a piano he could play a musical piece he knew. Yuurei would look over to Aris and figured he would ask him.
“Do you think you could create a piano for me?” He asked the man wondering what he would say to him.
“Sure, if you think you’re good with using one.” He said to Yuurei.
The noble would nod at him and a nice piano would appear in front of Yuurei. It was made out of the water, and he would press a key to make sure it worked the way he knew it worked. When he pressed the key and her the tone of it, he would smile because it was perfect.
The wind mage would crack his fingers as he moved around he made sure that he relaxed. The young mage would look at Hanami and figured he would say something.
“We could give them a performance. You paint to the sound of the piano. It was a joyful tone being played.” He said this to her as he got ready.
It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei’s fingers would start moving through the piano. The captain was slow at first, but he would his pace gotten smoother after a few seconds. The jolly tone from the piano would be heard throughout the area they were in. The seabed resident would start tapping their feet as they were enjoying the music. He would see this and it would get more excited to see that there were people enjoying the music, but knew if Hanami painted it would mesmerize them even more.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami sat and listened into the conversation, having to translate every word in her mind to truly comprehend was quite a challenging task. Even if she didn't understand everything she still managed to get the gist of what they were being told. It seemed that if they had a successful expedition into the temple there was a good chance they could gather new technology and weaponry that could help the kingdom. It was an opportunity they couldn't let slip by with so much going on in the world, and so little understood about the possibility of the daemons that possibly still lurked in the shadows. Anything at this point would be some sort of help to them, that much the permeation mage could understand.
The man that called himself Aris would take the lead upon leaving the tavern and arriving at the water's edge, summoning a large creation, a ship made of magic that would help them reach their destination. Hanami's eyes would practically glisten at the sight, it was beautiful. She could only dream of recreating such a masterpiece. She was the last to board, mostly because she had been too busy ogling the magnificent 'Last Voyage'. A somewhat troubling name, but one she let slide as she traced her hands over the bow of the ship, trying to study the magic that kept it all in shape so that she may one day replicate it in her paintings.
The permeation mage would lurch forwards a bit, nearly toppling off, as the ship set sail, however, she managed to regain her footing just in time, as she moved away from the dangerous position she had set herself in, taking a seat in the centre rather than risk the chance of falling off. It wasn't that she couldn't swim at all, she just wasn't overly competent, she knew enough to keep herself alive, but not enough to swim a marathon. Either way it was easier to simply sit, rest and contemplate what they would be up against as they continued to sail.
Over the course of the journey there were a few times that Hanami's stomach churned a little too much due to the choppy waters, but thankfully she managed to keep her the contents of her stomach down. She had after all gotten used to travelling by sea for the most part during her journey to Clover Kingdom from her homeland, it had just simply been a few years since she'd been on the sea since. Hearing her captain speak to her she would do her best to smile back.
"It's okay, could be worse." the permeation mage muttered, putting on a brave but pale face as she grinned and bared it, "And it is best be prepared, right?" she chuckled slightly, quickly closing her mouth once more as she continued to attempt to keep her seasickness down as best as she could, even going so far as to close her eyes and meditate. When the ship came to a halt, Hanami's eyes would snap back open, glancing around she would be pleasantly surprised to see they had arrived at the village, Dio excusing himself to head off towards the temple immediately while Aris guided them to the village leader.
He seemed overly eager to learn about what had been happening above sea level, requesting a performance of sorts from them in regards to telling the story of how the war ended. Hanami would lower her head, feeling nervous at the very thought of having to perform in front of an audience. She usually just painted for her own enjoyment in the privacy of her bedroom. While she was capable of various art forms due to her family somewhat forcing it upon her, painting had always been her preferred choice, it was far less embarrassing than singing and dancing in her opinion. However, she could always make her paintings dance instead, it just required a little magic.
Hearing her captain request a piano she would tilt her head, she had never heard him play before, actually until this point, she had never known if he could play. When he requested she paint in tune to the music she would feel her face heat up, it looked like there was not an easy way out of this. She herself had not been apart of the war events, but she had heard all about them from fellow squad members and members of high society as a whole. So as the music started to play, she would produce summon forth some of her paint magic from her fingertips, creating a blob of paint that slowly shifted forms as she moved her hands around much like a conductor.
First she would produce her own depiction of Clover's Capital along with the huge flying ship Diamond had used to attack. That much she had seen with her own eyes, as she then shifted the scene to within the ship itself as two armies fought one with the symbol of a clover and the other a diamond floating above. As she continued the story, she would slowly feel more confident in her abilities, her paints moving and shifting as the figures fought one another, with Clover being ultimately the victors as they danced around in the air to the joyful tune that her captain played. She then displayed pictures of people rejoicing throughout the kingdom, celebrations and feasts as they all cheered and children smiled happily as they once more could play without the looming fear of war.
Hanami didn't want to ruin the lighthearted mood, so she would stop the performance there, ending with a few little fireworks like display with her paint magic before letting it all fizzle out. She'd keep the whole daemon situation hidden, these people should not be forced to worry about such things, she was sure that if they returned the kingdom would find a way to deal with the threats.
It wasn't quite the usual type of song and dance routine, her magic doing the dancing part for her, no lyrics required to even tell the story, but she hoped it would be enough to satisfy the village elders so that they may have their blessing to continue their journey and venture through the seabed city without further hindrance. She'd turn to Yuurei, worry on her face that it had not been enough, hoping that he would give her some kind of gesture to let her know if she had done well enough.

The elders of the seabed village all clapped at the group's performances...it seemed as though they enjoyed themselves to the fullest extent, and they stood up to give the group their due. When the clapping and fanfare died down it was just the elders and the group left there.
“Well travelers, I am sure you have many questions, but with that performance...We will answer what questions you may have if you have any. The Seabed city is yours to explore and we do hope you take part in the Water Temple challenge...Elder Hach will see you to that area if that is where you do intend to go.” With that Elder Hach stood up and walked forward before bowing to the group. He looked to be built very well, almost an olympian figure as he eyed the group without saying a word.
At this point Aris would step forward and explain that the group is there to receive the training from the Water Temple, but want to investigate the disturbance left from the Diamond occupation, to which Hach sighed before looking at Dio...there was something felt in that moment, an unspoken argument of some sort as the group broke away from the Elders as Hach would lead the way to the Water Temple.
The approach to the temple was fairly uneventful as the native people of the seabed city were amazed to see the colorful mantles of the Magic Knights that had assembled. Some wanted to get autographs, and others just wanted to shake hands or talk to them. The player’s could choose to ignore them, or indulge them for a moment, either way Hach will explain that the Seabed city was advantageous during the war for being heavily defensible and actually a place to harness natural mana to control entire fleets of ships. Post Wartime has led to a boom in the arts and is common now that the people of the seabed city are ready to explore Clover once more as ambassadors. Then as the group approaches the Seabed temple, Hach looks to Aris and Dio and then pulls them aside as some words were exchanged that the party knows not of yet. After a few moments and an exchange of yul from Aris to Hach, the Elder and Aris shake hands before walking away, leaving them with Dio as he comes back to the group with his same stoic expression.
“We do not have much time. But the Elder is allowing us to use the Water Temple for an extended training period before he releases the guardians...so we are going to go and investigate the area that the Diamond soldiers found, follow me...I will explain what I know once we arrive.” Dio would say before leading the group into the temple.
DM Notes: For this round, you are exploring the Seabed city for a moment as you are being led by Hach and then by extension the Water Temple by Dio, who seems to be awfully in tune with the place even though he will admit to only having been in once. As a group you can ask question (Limit to 5) which will be answered next post by their respective NPC’s and the group only has to meet 500 Words or more to pass through the area and arrive to the staircase depression.

Now that the performance was over, Yuurei would get up and he would look over to Hanami as if she was looking for his approval. His smile towards her was hopefully enough, but he would speak to her later about how well she did. It wouldn’t take long to see that they were with a few people left as they looked over to what were the elders of this place. They were glad about their performance, which would bring Yuurei to bow slightly towards them. As he straightened himself back up he would have a nice smile towards the elders.
“Thank you for enjoying the show, I don’t think it couldn’t have been more amazing if it wasn’t for Hanami’s work.” He said as he gave her the credit to the performance.
It was a way to boost her confidence and as well as show her that her performance was good in his eyes. They could ask any questions they wanted, but Aris would speak first, and with his words, it seemed like things had disturbed the elders. Yuurei would rub the back of his head as he chuckled slightly and notice they were moving without warning. His movements were quick, but steady enough so that he would be behind the elders. Of course, he didn’t know where he was going, and honestly, he didn’t want to be rude.
While moving Yuurei would notice the many eyes that were towards him and Hanami. His eyes would meet with others and he would bring a smile on his face. He would wave towards them and soon enough a few people felt confident in approaching him. There were a bunch of kids that group up to him and he would look at them all.
“Hey there, how cool is to be a Magic Knight? Also, do you think you can sign this?” One of the kids asked as a bunch of others would pull out the same thing wanting the same from Yuurei.
He would sign his name for all of them and he would answer that simple question.
“It’s pretty cool to be a Knight. I get to help those who need my help, and seeing their smile at the end of a job is one of the best feeling in the world. This is also a way to meeting a lot of new and fun people in the world. You guys could be one, if you work hard for it.” He said to them as he patted their heads and would start walking faster to catch up to the group.
Yuurei kept moving through the area as though as he was enjoying the beautiful scenery. He would hear what was said about Seabed city and about it during wartime. He acknowledged his words nodding and understanding that they were ready to venture into the kingdom once more. It wouldn’t take long for them to reach their destination and after a while, it would have been Dio explaining his agreement with the elder Hach.
“Thank you and we plan to give it a hundred and ten percent.” He said as he would start following Dio into the temple.
“Hey Hanami, if you want I will allow you to ask the questions you want from Dio.” He said with a smile on his face as he was trying to see her leadership in all this.
[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami had been so engrossed with her own work she had nearly forgotten it was for an entire crowd. As they cheered at the end she'd find her face heating up as her cheeks turned a deep shade of scarlet, finding it hard to speak, especially after hearing her captain compliment her work. She couldn't help but smile despite her embarrassment, it was always nice to hear such positive feedback from one's work and she had put in a lot of energy into the performance and even enjoyed doing so. Perhaps it was something she could do again some time, she would just need to find someone willing to play Yuurei's role, the music after all, was a key component. The permeation mage's mind was busy thinking about who she knew and what they could play when the elder's approached, giving them the right to ask some questions and explore the city without further hindrance.
"Water temple challenge..." Hanami muttered to herself as Aris spoke with the elder explaining their situation. From that wording alone it seemed to her that this must be some sort of ritual for them. Of course they were here to inspect the damage done by the diamond kingdom and such, but perhaps they could enjoy undertaking the challenge once they were done with their work, it did sound awfully exciting. Plus it would be a good way of proving her skills both to herself and her captain.
It seemed this city in particular was not one that got many visitors, let alone magic knights. In fact some were so excited they rushed up to greet the duo. Hanami found herself growing exceedingly quiet as people approached, however, Yuurei seemed to take it all in stride, even giving his autograph and answering questions. She was honestly impressed with how confident he was, then again, he was a captain, he must be used to being famous and the like. Compared to her he was much more powerful and well known throughout the kingdom.
The permeation mage as always listened intently as she was spoken to, absorbing all the information she could as she attempted to fully understand the situation. It seemed she was right in guessing that the temple was used for something from his words, but she did have a few questions and upon being given the go ahead from her captain she would start blasting away trying to learn as much as she could about everything. "Guardians, what those?" Hanami would ask feeling a little nervous at the sound of that, no doubt they were something powerful and in charge of protecting something. Which made her wonder just what kind of treasure was inside that would warrant such a thing. "Are they what forced you and companions out last time you entered? Ah! Or was it traps and such? Should we watch steps and be careful?" She'd continue, firing away questions one after another, before suddenly stopping, "Ah, sorry, is that too much?" she'd blush again, realising she hadn't even given the man an opportunity to respond yet as she'd glance away finally granting him the chance.

The silver cloaked one spoke to Hatch and the others as he admitted what a delight it was to be there and as they moved on he talked to the crowd...as did the other silver cloak with him. IT was a bit odd for just a pair to try and take on this challenge, but Hatch was not worried about it in the slightest…At least they were good with kids. The walk was mostly uneventful until the leader of the group informed the woman to ask the questions if she had any, holy hell did she fire them off quickly. Hatch answered her as quickly as he could. ”The guardians eh, that is the name of our defensive forces that are trained inside the Water Temple. They are experts of various liquid magical elements and a few even washed up here from places unknown and with no memory so they serve as protectors for us. The Diamond soldiers forced out with their machinations of which we could not defend against, and as for traps...I am sure there are bound to be some inside...though in the Water Temple it is mainly for training, I have no clue what Dio found on his...” Dio cuts to the chase as he apologized just before they arrived at the foot of the temple. It was at this point that the Elder and Aria would go their way once they reached the temple.
”Let us get a move on...the longer we spend here, the less time we have to explore The possible site of Atlantis.”. Dio would say as he would lead the group down into the Water Temple. The place was gorgeous, different paths and areas that simulated environments that were usually not native to the seabed were found here, wandering mana beasts seemed to pay the group no mind...in fact they actively steered away as you all would round certain paths with Dio in the lead...then after about five minutes the group arrives to the depression. Dio would grab a torch from the floor before striking it on the ground causing sparks and a flame to rise up. The dark path downward lied ahead. Dio would lead them through the passage.
The group would arrive to the landing platform, a great open area in front of them...something that shouldn’t exist here. The sky above was just rock, yet there were thousands of glowing crystals on buildings and outcroppings of the cave. Below them a great chasm that seemed to have no end. Various waterfalls around the chasm added to the majestic scenery. It was scary, yet beautiful.
Dio would chuckle a bit, and the group would not know it, but the door behind them would vanish as the orichalculm passageway would be gone...no evidence of it ever being there. Dio would turn to keep up his act, going to the place where the door was and finding that it was gone...no indentation...no creases...nothing. He would position himself back on the landing, against the edge of the great chasm. He would laugh for a moment that would also simultaneously sound like sobbing...as creepy as it is, what should really alarm the group is the dark aura now emitting from Dio’s body.
A sense of dread would spread suddenly from Dio as the epicenter (players can attack Dio here if they wish, but when they do they will suffer a spell rebound of equal power.) Dio will begin speaking in a two toned voice as if he had never met the players before.
well it has been a long time since such a great source of mana has appeared before me...good...good, since I am about to turn you all into the last bit of energy I need to revive myself...it would be a waste to let you go without knowing what your being sacrificed for. I’ll allow you each one question.” the being that was now Dio said as he would begin to float, moving over the chasm.
Once the players have all asked, tired to fight, or even try to escape...they will be answered and then the landing platform they all stand on will be dropped into the chasm...causing a fade to black for all characters in the adventure...you are not dead...yet.
The word count for this should be around 1,500 words or less.

Yuurei would hear the questions that Hanami would ask them, and he would smile as she had brought them all at once. He could hear her words fumble up as she was not a native of this kingdom, so her language was still not perfect. The noble didn’t mind that, and their walk continued as he would hear Hatch answer her questions to the best of his ability. Yuurei would nod as he would hear his words as he was trying to take on the knowledge that was brought from the man’s words. It wouldn’t seem like everything had been answered and it was due to Dio. The noble wanted to know if there were any traps, but his steps would soon bring them to the temple.
The number of mana beasts that filled the area, brought a smile to Yuurei’s face. He wondered if they were going to fight against that, but it didn’t seem like that. The Silver Tempest would soon realize that these creatures were ignoring their existence or merely making sure that they didn’t get too close to the group. Dio would lead the way, Yuurei would follow with his guard up now that he saw many creatures within the area. I wonder what happened down there, that actually brought these people to come back up. He thought to himself as he continued moving.
He could see Dio lighting the way until they had reached the chasm. It was indeed beautiful and Yuurei’s eyes would widen as he would spin around looking at the beauty that was in this room. The noble could see the waterfall and he could only see why this place was amazing. It wouldn’t take long, but hearing someone chuckle he would look over to Dio who had walked over to an area. The wind mage was certain that area was where they had come from, which meant their means of leaving was gone. Still, he would look at Dio as he moved around the chasm until he was at the landing, and Yuurei could hear his laugh, which sounded creepy and it brought the Silver Eagle Captain on guard.
“Careful Hanami.” Yuurei said to her as something started happening with Dio.
The dark aura was enough for Yuurei to go on the defense, and he would protect those that were with him. The nobles grimoire would float into the air without warning and it would open up as it would go through the pages without hesitation. It would come to a stop and Yuurei would only shake his head.
“What do you know it had to be the guide who’s the antagonist. Wind Magic: Light Armament of Ares.” He said this as the magical wind would cover everyone in armor that made them look like a gladiator.
Yuurei wasn’t sure what Dio was going to do, but he had to make sure that Hanami would be safe from anything he would do to her. His eyes focused as he would watch the man carefully before he spoke. The wind mage would hear his voice concerned and wondered if something had taken over Dio’s body? The two-toned voice was enough of a giveaway and when he heard the man speak to them, they were allowed one question, and Yuurei had one indeed.
“Who is the person inside of Dio? The two-tone voice is what caught my attention, so it seems like you possessed his body and need more power to revive yourself.” He asked his question and spoke afterward as he wondered what the man would say and do.
Whenever his question had been answered, Yuurei would notice something the platform he was standing on was now gone. His eyes widen as he gasped from the surprised as he would fall down to the unknown. His worry had been for Hanami, but he had his defensive spell on everyone here. The Silver Eagle knew that they would be safe, but where the hell were they falling into?

The armor itself is stronger than usual as it will have a stronger resistance to light magic as there will be a light energy source moving through it.
[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami would nod as her questions were answered without complaint, it seemed simple enough and she now understood a little better what they might have to fight if they were to take too long. It sounded better in her opinion if they were to be swift with their mission. Bidding farewell to the locals she'd thank them for their help with a small bow before quickly hurrying to follow the others into the temple. She'd once more find herself entranced with the beauty around her. She couldn't help but stare, taking every detail she could, attempting to dedicate it to memory so she may paint such a scene later upon returning to the squad base.
She had been so caught up in fact she would find herself feeling a little sad as they'd have to leave the wandering mana beasts behind, wishing she could sit and sketch them in their natural environment. Unfortunately, they had a job to do and that took priority. With a sad small sigh she'd continue to follow along into the dark path that led them further downwards till they arrived at a strange room of sorts.
Once more, her violet eyes would seem to glisten taking in the scenery, distracting her for a moment, only realising what was truly happening as Yuurei spoke her name. Turning her attention back to the matter at hand, her eyes would widen in fear as she now was fully aware of the dark presence before them, something that was not human. She'd ready herself, notching an arrow in her bow in preparation to strike if given the order to attack the man as she felt her captain's wind magic swirl around her. While it made her feel somewhat safer, she couldn't shake off the feeling of dread growing within her.
"R-revive yourself, for what purpose?" She'd ask, her voice shaky, choosing that to be her question. She would feel a shiver as her fear began to get the better of her, scared of what may lay in store for both herself and her captain. As much as Hanami put her faith in the man, there were still things of incredible and unknown power in this world, should they manage to get out of this alive, having any sort of information may result in being helpful for the future.
After hearing the answers, Hanami would feel strange, as if she had activated her permeation magic, but she hadn't, right? As she felt herself slip into the void of the chasm, darkness overwhelming her.

Dio looked at the two of them...they looked ready to fight and he smiled as the landing platform began to give way.
”Dio was merely a pawn...he gave himself up the first time he was here and when I planted the info in his head...gold...glory...conquest. Greedy humans are always the same…” He spoke in that same two toned voice to the male as Dio flashed that creepy smile, his eyes totally black now. The second silver cloaked one asked why the revive was needed.
”it is so I can raise this place from it’s grave...and take control of all life...thankfully with the mana that you all have...it will get me just where I need to be to create an avatar out of this man.” He spoke before holding up a hand…
”Ta-Ta!” The possessed Dio would say before his eyes would turn back to normal...the man he once was saw the Magic Knights falling into the chasm as he screamed out in agony and despair…
The party wakes up, being dragged by eight of the Atlantean guardians by way of a small raft. Their hands are bound and their grimoires are currently not within their reach. The players may attempt to talk to the creatures, but these creatures do not speak the common language of humans, any elf in the party will be able to recognize their language and if they speak to the guardians , they will respond in kind until they reach a base camp.
The party can choose to attack the guardians here, or leave them be. The guardians are normal in size with Grand Rank Health, movement speed of 25 meters per second, and Grand power and will attack with their orichalculm weapons if provoked.
I will be watching for Metagaming in this encounter as it is optional in nature...if the players attack the combat will happen...if they do not then the players will have to meet the word count requirements.
The word count for this should be around 1,500 words or less.

Yuurei would hear the voice coming from Dio and with the answers that he had gotten it seemed like the possessed Dio didn’t tell him who he was. In the end they fell to their death or what they figured could be their death. Yuurei was sure they would be safe from the fall, but it wouldn’t matter until after the impact occur.
It had all gone black and it seemed like they had hit the ground. Yuurei bounced on the ground and he assumed it would be the same for Hanami. He wanted to reach out to hear, but he didn’t know where she was. Instead, he would sleep but could tell from falling unconscious in the last second that he was still alive. Time had gone by seconds, minutes, or even hours, but when the Silver Tempest woke he could see that his body was moving side to side as if he had been on a boat or something with the same mechanics. He would try to move his arms, but would notice quickly that he was bounded; the noble tried to move a bit more struggling, but would soon recognize that he had been taken, prisoner.
This is the second time this has happened. I need to stop making it a trend. He thought to himself as sighed and stopped the useless struggle and started looking around and examining his surroundings.
He could see that there were a bunch of guardians within this small raft, and it seemed like their language was comprehensive at least for him. The noble would move his body slowly, so he was no longer on his back, but now was sitting up. It was hard to do, but after a few tries he would be able to look at them as he would see how they looked. He figured he would ask them a question or two, and see if they knew of an evil that lived within these areas that had been released.
“I’m sorry to interrupt your conversation, but I was wondering if you guys could answer a few questions for me.” He paused for a second, and he would relax before continuing on.
“An obvious question, but where are you guys taking us?” He would ask, but wouldn’t let them answer before asking another question.
“Do you guys know of an evil creature, that might have been freed from its prison and is now planning on reviving themselves to control of all life?” He asked this question waiting for a response to see what they would say.
Depending on their answers he would move on to a few questions, but they would indeed be able to understand Yuurei as he was part elf, and dwarf.
He would look to the side though as he would see that Hanami was with him, and he was glad that she was fine. If they had tied her up, it would mean that she was still breathing. Yuurei would just hope that these guys were friendly and not the enemies. He knew they were tied, but they were strangers in an environment that was different than their own, so he understood why he was tied.
[attr="class","hanatextd"]Hanami's eyes fluttered open, blinking wildly as they adjusted to the light shining around them. She could feel the rocking feeling of the wooden raft she lay upon, they were sailing again? She'd feel her stomach churn a little at the thought, but she had bigger issues to worry about. Glancing around she'd locate her captain along with their captors, strange amphibian like humanoids.
They were unlike anything the permeation mage had seen before, her painter's instinct kicking in for the hundredth time since leaving for their mission. Snapping out of those thoughts she became aware of the rope tied tightly around her wrists, binding them together, making it impossible for her to use her bow even if she needed to in this moment.
'Wait my bow? Where?' She panicked, glancing around for it, spying it along with her grimoire, well out of her reach. She'd sigh in relief though, the last thing she wanted was to lose such a precious item to her. It was more than just a weapon, it was an extension of herself, part of her being at this point, and often just as useful as her magic. That aside there were other important things she had to think about.
Her mind trailed back to the words the creature possessing Dio had spoken before she had blacked out they now raced through her mind. They had to find a way to put a stop to whoever was behind this. But how? They had too little information, they didn't even know what they were truly up against. Were these creatures guiding them over the sea even under their control or had something else happened when they were knocked out?
It was at this point she heard a familiar voice, conversing in a language she didn't understand at all. Yuurei was speaking with them? She had no idea he was multilingual, and in yet another language that was not her native tongue. Yet more things to ask him once they were back at the base. This whole ordeal had really opened her eyes to just how little he truly knew about the young man, he was far more than just the rumours and stories she had heard from the nobles of Clover Kingdom.
Hanami couldn't do anything but sit and wait, ready to defend herself if the time came for it, trying to distinguish the tone and emotions in the voices of those around her. While she couldn't tell exactly what was being said she could at least read their movements carefully in an attempt to understand.
