The rays all met their target and exploded...the end was assured just as it was said before. Just as the Area of Effects blasts finished the battlefield was...swept clean. Yuurei Krane was dead, having received 12 AoE blasts from the rays was enough to overload his defenses, mana skin, and finally his health. The tornadoes and slashes from the golem were icing on the cake as they all landed on Dio as well. The sweet release of death took over the possessed man as the final nail on the coffin...the scepter was blown out of his hands and into the air. The Scepter would glow white before exploding, delivering a final Archmage AoE that encompassed the entire throne room, the control room, and even the floor below as the end had arrived.
In the end when everything had died down, The magic Knights that entered Atlantis had died...Atlantis was stuck at the bottom of the sea, and the Calamity was sealed away...the rumbling had stopped, the sunken had rushed inside to help their leader, only to see that the only being that was there...A fully realized Calamity in all its glory. The rage in its eyes burned furiously as it let out a primal scream.
The Atlanteans were wiped from existence as the Calamity tried time and time again to try and lure adventurers to the entry...but the being could no longer find where it was...Everything continued as it was before.
Yuurei, unfortunately perished in battle, but he did ultimately succeed in what he had done...The Calamity would never be released, Hanami perished in battle with him and the Wizard King’s Envoy would deliver word that the conquest to Atlantis was a failure, but that there was a significant release of mana all at once under the waves.
Yuurei was celebrated as a hero, but was the man really gone…
That is it. The end of the line. I am sorry for how it turned out, but the end is not over. The Calamity Dio Phase 1 Boss fight was significant, and only got tougher because I had to match the level of opponent to the player. Dio’s stats would reflect those of Yuurei’s while possessed by the Calamity. The end of Phase 1 was the scepter explosion, and the start of Phase 2 would have been a fully realized Calamity taken physical form. You rose to the occasion and for that I am still awarding you the following;
1 NA: Ghost of Atlantis
2 Rolls on the Modded adventure Table
The NA and the rolls will go towards your character if you choose to use your life perk.
