Esart had gotten himself onto Cyrus's golem and made sure that Willow made it onto the large construct also. He would keep his eyes on Willow as she spat up and coughed to make sure that the water did not have any adverse affects on her. Her weak thumbs up was enough for him to feel like they could get on the move and join the battle going on which Cyrus and Lydia both gave their own guidance for what the weaker duo should do. Esart planned on going about with doing Cyrus's orders to help Naxel but another person seemed to have that covered and took the weapon that Lydia had created to their unconscious ally. After confirming what their sudden help was doing with Naxel, Esart commanded the golem to turn and face towards where he had felt the enemy coming from in the water earlier. He quickly would notice that the saintly man and some Blue Rose knights were already starting their attack against the mana beasts which caused Esart to tap his hand on the golem a few times. "Get us close to those creatures. We need to help them!" He yelled out, not knowing if the golem had any key words you needed to say or not to get it moving before he said it but was given confirmation of his successful orders as the golem rushed into the fray in front of them. "I hope you have had enough time to rest up." He spoke to his companion as he pulled out his grimoire and summoned some mercury for him to manipulate while they were on the move.
Once close enough he would take aim and shoot off a few shoots with his mercury at what enemies he could. He was not exactly skilled enough to fight so many enemies at once but hoped that the allies he had could help him with making up the difference. "Hey! You attack them too if they get close enough!" He called out another order to the golem which it would follow as the enemy got close to them. He would make sure how Willow was doing as the fighting started to make sure that she was able to handle her own in some way but ultimately he would be focusing on aiming his shots and making them count where he could to help the priest as well as make sure that Willow and himself were not overrun by the enemy. An idea would strike his mind as he was firing off his shots which involved him using the golem and himself to attack the enemy near them at the same time. "Hey! Grab me and swipe me towards the enemy!" The golem would reach up grabbing him around his waist and quickly swipe him in front of the enemy in front of them. Esart was ready but not completely ready as he was quickly moved through the air so he let out a small scream as he used his mercury to take the form of a large sword and swiped it out as he was drug through the air. The golem then held him out in its hand after obeying the order causing Esart in a flabbergasted way to yell out his next order as he squirmed around in the hand of the golem. "He-hey! Idiot! Put me back on top of you before they can get to me!" His order was obeyed swiftly and he was put back on top of the golem where he went back to taking shots at the enemy after he fixed his clothing which was not in the greatest shape from everything he had been in but he was a noble from one of the higher families so he had to look the part as much as anything else.

Time wasn't on the junior azure deers side at this day or time. It was a neutral watcher that judged all the players acting within the game of life. Days, hours, minutes, or even seconds can be deceptively important in how they are used in even the best of times. If he hadn't focused so many hours of every day for years in trying to mentally recover, than he wouldn't have been well enough to join the azure deers. It was this past recovery that gave him a firm grip over their own mind, but it was the pressure of death and responsibility in the now that had given him the strength to force himself to calm inside, even if just for now. All the time the peachy young man thought had been wasted had actually given him more emotional and mental courage and strength than most had. The humbleness allowed them to keep out of trouble and avoid being in danger, for the most part. Since joining the magic knights, he had taken jobs that weren't exactly safe, but also didn't require fighting. Nothing had been anywhere near as dangerous as today though. It was also the first mission where Cobborn wasn't fully aware of why he was there until after arriving. Now he was doing something that could crush him dead if he judged anything off, even by a second. If he thought about things like that too hard though, then it would be harder to save others.
In and out, careful of how far the explosion has gone. The building is falling apart, you can't save everyone though you want to. Maybe one day he would have spells that could hold protective walls around others, but today wasn't the start of that. If only he could make himself faster in order to save more people. This wasn't thought on that hard though, for doing such would bring the risk of the fake calm that had washed over the man fading awake, leaving bare the panic that would bring muteness. But a time did come where he left the headquarters without going back in. The young man couldn't help but to give pause to look at the ruins of what was once the blue rose headquarters, a thing of wonder now nothing more than rubble laying on the corpses of those he couldn't get out on time. Would it be possible for him to not take each death personal? He was only a junior and nobody could save everyone but it still hurt. At least he managed in saving more than none though, much more. That was something that helped the person turn their back, the thick braided hair wavering about as he moved along to continue helping those who had been moved out of the building on time. The peachy orange hair shimmered with yellow hues wildly with the movements, the more almost looking much like a sunrise flickering upon a horizon that wasn't there.

[attr="class","florencetext"]Something didn't feel right to the vice captain. The deamon had taken a few hits before she cast an illusion that made clones of herself. However it made no sense why she would wait so long before doing so after all while they all looked and felt like Serena but Lydia was to close for for the deamon to actually get confused by them. Perhaps it was meant to cause the others to to think Lydia was attacking the wrong one or perhaps she had managed to trick Lydia into attacking the wrong one. Lydia was to busy to look over at the others to make sure they were all actually still okay but she assumed if they needed help they would have called out for it by now. The glass mage would watch as the archdeamon fell to the ground knocked out but not dead which Lydia knew wasn't from her open spells otherwise Serena would have been dead but she was still very much alive. The pink haired mage would close her eyes using clear mind to get rid of any and all illusions currently on her. [break][break] Before looking to the orb now in the room. She didn't have a good feeling about it. Cyrus have one of your golems take the orb and get it as far away from here as possible. Lydia would then turn back to face the archdeamon assuming that Serena was still there and if she was Lydia would throw her her light sword into the deamons body. Lydia would then fly down pulling out her stabbing it into the archdeamons chest hopefully finishing her off. Of course if Serena wasn't actually when she passed out at Lydia would start looking around the area with her sensory to find the deamon again and finish the fight once and for all.

[attr=class, cyrustext]Cyrus watched, relieved, as Willow was finally fished up from the water by his golem and Esart. The drenched pink-haired girl was shaken, but alive, and gave them a thumbs up to assure them that she was fine for the moment. Good; that was one less thing to worry about for the time being.
Lydia continued her assault against Serena, throwing Cyrus one of her healing spells to use for himself while urging him to deal with whatever the source of the approaching mana signature was. He nodded, all too happy to do so as he applied her spell's healing affect to his mana skin; though the hex around them continued to affect, it seemed as though the Crimson Lion's spell was able to recover more than the hex could damage. Lydia cast an Archmage spell as she resumed her fight with the daemon, whose odd behavior worried the sap wizard.
Esart was working to make use of the golem Cyrus put under his command as they fought the approaching enemies. Reinforcements had arrived, with one man carrying Naxel somewhere that would hopefully be a little bit more safe for an unconscious man. Joseph was still working to keep the civilians calm as he continued to focus on them.
Lydia called out to Cyrus again, instructing the young man to have one of his golems deal with the orb that was approaching them as she continued to fight the tricky daemon. Cyrus nodded, looking at the Heliades he had left. He still had it and his two Odur golems left. But neither of them were nearly as fast or had as great a range as his Grand Predator. "Heliades, take the orb and fly as far away as possible; away from us and the civilians!" He ordered the amber soldier, who simply nodded at its master's command. The angelic knight's bladed wings cut through the air as it rapidly flew at the sphere in question, reaching out its hand to grab the orb.
If successful, the Heliades would follow its order and fly away with the orb in tow, heading away from any people and as far away as it could from its master.
Cyrus then turned to the approaching horde of enemies and directing the Odur not controlled by Esart and Willow to assist in fending them off. The warrior swung its blade down at the foes, allowing Cyrus to return his focus to the seemingly done for Serena. His hand continued to clutch at the relic the priest had given him, wishing he had the chance to ask the man more about it. Hama bit her lip, able to tell through her connection to Cyrus that his mana supply was continuing to dwindle even with the assistance of Lydia's spell. He was ready to cast more despite this, however. "Ciders!" He called, and summoned a trio of one of his most trusted forms of golems. "Two of you attack the the incoming enemies! The last one stick close!" He called out. The pair charged into the enemies to help thin the herd, while the last remained by its master's side in case something else happened. Cyrus stepped up onto the creature, ready to take advantage of its flight if necessary.

Items On Hand Magic Knight's Mantle
Spells Used Heliades and Odur sustained Syrup Shroud sustained Falernum Wyverns sustained Cider Cast
Name of Spell: Cider Spell Element: Sap Spell Rank: Senior Mana Cost: 30 | 15 Type of Golem: Predator Applicable Perks: Puppet Master, Armament, Reinforced Golems Description:
Inspired by the curious pumpkin creatures he encountered whilst assisting in the defense of Kikka, Cyrus concocted a creature that seems as though it were ripped straight out of a Halloween story. Superficially the Cider golem almost resembles a sort of living flame, though still made of sap and amber. The eyes and mouth of this particular beast seem to emit an eerie orange glow as a sign of the powerful mana used to condense their shape. While not overly imposing compared to many other golems, the Cider is not to be underestimated. It is capable of reaching a size of up to 6 meters tall, and can be summoned smaller for tighter spaces. They can travel through the air at a pace of 27 meters per second, or 20 meters per second when carrying passengers. To attack, these living comets fly directly into their opponent and their fortifications, smashing into them with their surprisingly durable and powerful bodies for Senior ranked blunt damage. Their amber maws are not just for show either, and can be used to bite down on foes should the need arise. These golems form the backbone of Cyrus' offensive arsenal and are capable of carrying up to three passengers. Up to 3 can be summoned at once.

When they reached their destination she was asked if she had enough time to rest up. She just glowered at the man while rolling onto her side to spit up a little more water, swearing in her native tongue that sounded like nothing but chaos incarnate. As she readied herself when asked to, Willow shakily got up to her feet. Her arms waving about to maintain her balance atop the golem she was astride.
Sure while they were mobile Willow didn't have the luxury of using her Hunting Flow, but her Drizzle shot was almost a literal spray and pray. She could channel that spell and fire off a jet after jet of high-pressure water. Each one shaped like a hungry eel. In paired volleys, she would unleash the salvo into the crowd of enemies when given the chance, nothing aimed at any beast in particular, but enough to get some suppression going.
it wasn't until Willow formed up with Cyrus and heeded his command that she could let loose with her limited number of spells. How she wished at this moment her grimoire would evolve alongside her, then again, she may not be changing much at the moment. She may very well be operating on the aura of the previous Willow who was still vaguely wrapped about her form.
"I am, I am here to being helpful." She declared while her grimoire readied itself as she channeled her mana, Hunting Flow at the ready as the twin currents of water chased each other around over her hand. As they formed into what was almost a ring of aqua.
Flailing her arm and letting it loose upon the crowd of beasts, it would seek out one and then splash off of the impact and seek out another, trying to get a series of blows off while her Drizzle Shot was still aimed at the crowd, with no particular target chosen.
The Blue Rose Base-Entire Party.(Joseph, Willow, Estart, Lydia, Cyrus)
With the defense of both the priest, Alexander and the remainder of the Blue Rose mages began to push back the horde as they pushed forward, Estart and Willow were above the ship Willow was put on the ship and went immediately for attack, Estart ordered the Golem to put him above the horde as he rained down magical artillery. It was a sight to behold as it looked like a few minutes ago, the horde might have been winning, but now it was the mages that were pushing back harder. Alexander was thinking about his family in this moment as he threw a glance up to the young Silva that was helping them...he was a noble and the way that Alexander was raised...nobles were an enemy, at the end of this...a quick end would surely be needed for that man. For now though, he had to survive to see that end. Willow’s magical prowess was indeed a welcome addition and the Blue Rose knights felt she was a strong fighter regardless of the fact that they did not know the workings of her mind.
Joseph had managed to get all that he could onto the last of Cyrus’s golems, a select few remained...four in total besides him as he watched the orb destroy more and more of the Blue Rose base as it rose up. There was no stopping it now...they were at the mercy of the archdaemon and its horde on one side...and the orb that was destroying the area was on its path...they were out of time and out of options. However, a scream would pierce the Azure Deer’s ears as above him there was a commotion and a small child had fallen from one of the golems and was going to be landing in the water...Joseph was the only one to see this.
Like the protagonist of a story Lydia stood tall against the illusions of Serena and when she saw the daemon on the ground and the orb approaching, she ordered Cyrus to make quick work of the orb and get it away. The Golden Dawn mage was quick to order a golem to do so, and the female archdaemon that was lying on the ground was stabbed by Lydia as she did so to see if the female was real or not...Serena, who was alive and well just looked up at Lydia and smiled as she spit up blood. Speaking to Lydia personally she kept that smile. ”My death is not my end human, you fools actually think you can win this, even if I fall here because of my own mistakes...I will be back, and I will have my vengeance...on everyone that I have seen or touched.” She said as she watched Lydia look ready to strike her down. ”Rise Neptune” She said the sea water rose and a 4 meter (13 Ft. Tall) Grand Guardian golem would rush Lydia from behind, Serena would not move from her position unless Lydia was otherwise taken care of and moved. The Golem that grabbed the orb however, was the best part for the female daemon. She did not even have to watch because as soon as the golem was about to crest over the ruined Blue Rose base...it happened. The hex field that was draped over the land dissipated as the orb exploded, dealing [ARCHMAGE] damage in an AoE of 10 meters in diameter, then 15-20 meters out there would be the concussive blow of [GRAND] and knockback anyone within 25 meters of the blast 2 meters.
TLDR Serena has been stabbed, but Lydia did not deliver the killing blow as she was not unconscious like the Crimson Lion thought, after some taunting...and orders given to Cyrus...the Orb exploded and leveled the Blue Rose Base as well as the surrounding area, before the blast would affect everyone in the vicinity. Joseph saw a child fall from the last golem to leave, while Estart and Willow fought against the horde. Was this the end of their suffering...or was true hell about to begin in the aftermath.

It seemed like this would soon be the end of the madness for him, at least for a few minutes. That was a brief thought, until hearing the sound of a child. It would be horrible if any of the remaining survivors fell after surviving so much at this point. It was terrible, to live through the blood soaked flood, only for numbers to be thinned again by the deamons destructive orb. How insane was that? To be put through even one of those was pure madness, and yet here the azure deer was jumping into the water as quickly as they could make them self. Why? Because this still wasn't the end and the peachy male would do what they can to keep those remaining alive. Even if this meant jumping into and swimming through dangerous waters to grab a child up. The girl was light weighted, likely just scared. Fear can make one less stable on their legs, it was amazing they handled the strange damaging attack earlier. He had been so caught up in everything that he wasn't quite sure what the monster had done, only that it caused others to fade if they couldn't get far enough fast enough. Add those too together and it was almost impressive that she didn't slip sooner. This was why he wanted to come along though, not just because there was room this time.
It's easier to make sure everyone makes it if you go along with them and he had poured so much of his efforts into trying to help the survivors that ad been placed back in danger. Maybe she could hold on better after he gets her back on. Not much went through the filthy and now wet mans mind as he got the girl back onto the golem before climbing back on himself. All that mattered at that time was making sure the young child would be alright. It wasn't until after getting back on it himself that everything backed out for the pink eyed person. This was one of the downsides of focusing only on the safety of the citizens. More may have survived because of that and such thins were good, but Cobborn was left not knowing what was going on at the battle. Even before he had left, it felt like no chances had opened for him to not focus on trying to save people. Even the seconds spent looking at the rubble that had been the blue rose base before had felt wasted. There was no scolding themselves over it now though, not when he was no longer even awake. The only thoughts that had been on his mind before the darkness took his mind for a time had been concern for the remaining survivors. What would he do if any of them were lost after he passed out?
Nothing. There would be nothing that could be done by himself. The junior azure deer had tried his best.

[attr=class, cyrustext]Cyrus looked over at Willow as she started to get back into the swing of things after her fall into the water. She let loose a spell into the encroaching horde of enemies, and he was glad to see that she seemed fine now that she was out of the drink.
That was more or less the only relief to be had at the moment, however. His golem had moved to grab the mysterious orb as he had instructed on Lydia's order, when he heard Serena speak through the blood pooling in her lungs from where Lydia stabbed her to try and finish the daemon off. She claimed that her death was only the beginning, and that she would have her vengeance on those that she saw or touched this day. The particular wording of the threat made his skin crawl as his mind flashed back to when he had first "rescued" Serena from the monsters earlier; how she had kissed his cheek in apparent gratitude.
A new golem was summoned and moved to attack Lydia, which would normally be the sap wizard's top priority for the moment. But he was more focused on his golem as it attempted to flee with the orb in hand, eyes widening as he felt the sensation of the hex over them disappear. Something was about to happen.
"EVERYONE TAKE COVER! GOLEMS, PROTECT WHO YOU CAN!" Cyrus called out to everyone as he ordered his golems to action. The Heliades attempted to cover the orb with its body, while the Odurs and Ciders all moved to get between the relic and whatever people were nearest to them; the Odur carrying Willow and Esart moved to shield them with his shield and body, the other Odur attempting to trip up the Guardian Serena had summoned. Cyrus forsake the protection of the Cider golem he had ordered to stay close, instead sending it along with the other two to try and form a barricade against the blast to defend the civilians present.
Cyrus was near the center of the blast when it went off, ducking down in an effort to shield the artifact hidden in his shirt as Hama retreated into his grimoire, but even with the protection of his mana skin he could feel the explosion of the orb rip across his body. The healing sword Lydia had given him was blown to pieces as his magical protection took the majority of the damage. The pain reminded him of the staff that had exploded during the battle he, Lydia, and their friends had while fighting the Calamity in the throne room of Atlantis. No... this was even worse. Far worse, in fact.
And it wasn't just the feeling, but everything else; the sound of the explosion, the overwhelming light as spots filled his eyes, the indescribable smell. His entire being felt like it was on fire.
When the blast had subsided, Cyrus stood. His vision and hearing slowly returned as he refocused, trying to get his bearings on the situation. Even with all his optimism, he had the sickening feeling that the sight was not going to be pleasant. He tried to concentrate, doing his best to ignore the pain and regenerate his mana skin before anything else happened.
"Damage report!" Cyrus called out, a bit hoarsely after the sudden detonation. How many were okay? How many weren't? He needed to know... but looking at the crater where the Blue Rose Headquarters once stood, he wasn't sure he wanted to. He remembered the golems he had sent away with civilians and felt for the connection, sighing a breath of relief when he realized the explosion hadn't reached far enough to put those people in danger.

The battle had started to rage against the minions of the daemon and Esart was not letting them get too far while putting up a barrage of mercury shots to defend his immediate area and those who were in it that he saw as allies. The enemy did not seem to let up much though as they continued their charge but with his efforts combined with the other mages around him they could at least hold them back while Lydia and Cyrus dealt with their leader which the young Silva noble hoped would bring the battle to an end quickly. He knew that if things got any worse for them that he would be a burden to the group due to his lack of experience and lack of abilities. What he also knew was that he could do something now while things were still under some sort of control by them. The golem he was on swung its limbs around hitting enemy after enemy and doing a great job of keeping them at bay which allowed Esart to get clear shots on them quickly before they could react most of the time. He had started to like the sappy creature and how well they had started to work together, so much so that it made him want to possibly make one of his own at some point. Willow had even started to fight with them after recovering somewhat which added to the amount they could hold off.
More and more enemies came from out of the water as they continued to battle which would have been discouraging to the Silva but his pride would not allow him to suddenly cave in on himself due to fear. "Hit them up into the air!" He yelled out his order to the golem causing it to swat at a group of the enemies with a upward motion causing them to be sent up into the air where Esart had a clear shot on them. Esart would quickly form his mercury into a long spear and thrust it into the group of them sending them flying back to the ground from the force of being hit or ripping into them before they were left to fall back to the ground. Esart couldn't help but give a thumbs up to the golem with how their attack went. Everything wasn't going exactly great but it felt like they were starting to turn things around and they were just about to be about to say they had gain victory or at least that was what the confidence that Esart was feeling was telling him. He could not have been more wrong.
Just after he gave a thumbs up to the golem he would notice another of Cyrus's creations was running holding some sort of orb and then the feeling of the hex vanished causing a sudden feeling of dread to come over him. He did not know why he felt so much fear as the effects of the hex vanished. It was something that was hurting them after all so why didn't he feel relieved by it being gone? His thoughts raced for what felt like hours but was only a couple seconds but Cyrus's yell for everyone to take cover would quickly cause him to get out of his thoughts and figure out what was about to happen. He did not have much time to react at all as the explosion went off but the golem he was on would attempt to cover him and Willow from any damage by placing them on the ground and standing over them but this would not be enough as the golem would be blown away completely by the blast making Esart feel as though he had lost a friend in some way. The golem quickly would be gone but the explosion would not be as it would collide heavily with Esart causing him to be sent flying from the force of the explosion landing on the ground with a loud thud with his grimoire landing nearby and leaving him unconscious.
[attr="class","florencetext"]Lydia would feel her sword of light an actual sword stab into the deamon's body. It seemed Serena wasn't actually passed out from a lack of mana or perhaps she was but the women woke up after getting stabbed. As the deamon spoke Lydia would have a emotionless look on her face as she had no need for them in this fight. It was clear based on Serena's words she was close to death. As the deamon made no attempt to move away or attack at least at the moment. Lydia would drop her transformation spell taking her normal appearance for a moment before her eyes turned golden and her hair turned orange. Lydia would then start to speak in a cold tone. You're right killing you won't end this. [break][break] The war has just started. There is one thing however you forgot about clover. No matter how hard you kick our asses we get back up. Sure the shattering fucked with us you think it made us weaker but look at this now. Your first attack afterwards failed and now you are laying at my feet dying and you speak to me about vengeance. What about all those you and the other deamons killed? You really think there own vengeance would let you come back please don't make me laugh. You are going to die here by my hands and you will fade into nothing you won't come back and even if you did it wouldn't matter you'd just lose and die again. [break][break] As Lydia sensed the golem behind her she would use her control to make another grand light sword throwing it at the golem. As the exposition over took the area destroying the blue rose base as well Lydia would feel her mana skin get half way taken out while knocking her back two meters per second. She would close the gap between her and the archdeamon. Lydia would then call the light sword back to her hand before once again stabbing the sword into Serena's chest. She would then pull her actual sword out of the deamon before stabbing it into her neck this time. As Cyrus called out Lydia was currently the only one still standing. It seems like the two of us are the only two left standing. The others only seemed to be knocked out for now but I'd heal them if I was you. Lydia would then use her control to make three light healing swords and threw them at the golden dawn mages feet. Lydia however would move from the archdeamon just yet.

Between the fighting and protecting the base, there was so little time to even think. Willow was doing her best to keep her focus on what was in front of her, so much that she was not even paying attention to anyone else around her. Her focus so laser pointed at the moment that she was just trying to keep the horde from getting any closer.
There was a look of sheer panic on her face while exhausting almost all of her mana with the sole purpose of protecting the base. That was when it happened, with the golem turning to protect her and Esart.
Between the golem's destruction and the resulting blast that had sent her back along with her cohort, both had been swiftly taken out of the fight. Willow's time in the fight was done, even though she had gone so long without taking any sort of blows. That one was more than enough to wind her and leave her eyes shut. Drifting off to dreamland in the heat of battle!
Willow was now officially out of it until the end of it, with nothing to occupy her but the cacophony of voices she thought she heard inside her heart all of this time.
"So, you couldn't even last that long huh? Well, you did your best." One of the voices commented.
"Whether she did her best or not, she got her ass handed to her in the end, far cry from who she used to be, though, it's more like a twist on the original, diet version, right big guy?" The second voice asked as if the disembodied presences turned to a third one.
Inside of Willow's heart and mind was the former Willow from pre-shattering, having watched this all with a soft look on his face, "Seems I can't move on and accept her fully just yet, I'm getting so tired though. It's getting harder to keep things balanced."
"Don't worry chief, we'll get you there, we're basically her shoulder angels now, right Ellie?"
"As you say, Elias, at least you remembered our names, thank you for that sir."
Seems that Willow had some deeper rooted issues beyond psychological from her Shattering that she wasn't aware of, but that's an epoch for another day.
The Blue Rose Base-Entire Party.(Joseph, Willow, Estart, Lydia, Cyrus)
The orb of souls exploded...Serena was stabbed through the neck as Lydia gave her final words to the daemon bitch. She was not amused with her words and even gave a small speech as she confirmed that the fight had just begun. Serena did not however say another word as she simply looked at Lydia and smiled as she bled out, a frightening scene to be sure. Cyrus, the golem user commanded his available golems that were not taking citizens away from the blast to protect those that were left and within the blast...including himself, but all in vain for those much weaker than the Vice Captain of the Crimson Lions and the Golden Dawn. Joseph saved the child that fell into the water only to be knocked out just after getting back near the group. Estart and Willow passed out on the ship along with the other Blue Rose members, the preacher...Cyrus...and Lydia all took the full force of the blast and albeit being wounded...they were the ones left standing...even the daemons retreated en masse as soon as Serena was defeated.
There they were, the humans were clearly left as the ones victorious and Alexander, the priest gathered all the stragglers and Blue Rose Knights that were alive and performed a mass healing spell as his final act, he stepped off of the construct boat and huffed as he walked back to Lydia. ”This...was a victory, no matter how small...I will remain here to await any help that the Magic Knights wish to provide, otherwise I am sure the church will send aid soon. The Blue Rose Knights will need direction, I have not seen their captain...it is troubling. Master Cyrus, would you mind bringing the survivors back please. I can put them on my boat and they will be fine for now...Thank you both for your help...sorry that this ended on such a somber note.” He would say as the Blue Rose members that ventured out in boats prior to the engagement at the base began to return, and triage centers were set up to treat the wounded and graves were prepared for those lost. This was a win, but a hard fought and hard to swallow win.
TLDR: That is it! The job is done...for those of you that were passed out...you awaken on the ship of the Priest Alexander. As for those that have withdrawn for the event they also are there as well if Cyrus does as he is asked.
The Rewards…for those that remained in the event for its duration an NA: Conqueror of the Sea Daemon 5,500 Yul Magic Knights receive 10 Stars You each get 5 Rolls for your Loot

[attr=class, cyrustext]Cyrus looked over at Lydia when she spoke up, the Crimson Lion mage taking note of the fact that they were the only two who had been able to withstand the power of the daemon's final effort and remain conscious. The others were all lying around them, certainly banged up but thankfully alive as far as he could tell. The Ravencrest woman even went so far as to mock Serena's attempt at threatening them, and couldn't help but find some satisfaction as she silently died, in spite of the twisted grin she wore as she passed.
Lydia passed Cyrus some more copies of her healing spell, urging him to get to work on helping the others, which he was all too happy to do. He picked up the blades and carried them with him. As he would revive one of the others he would urge them to take one of the swords and help the rest of their group. He would also inform them of what had happened during their brief unconsciousness. "Serena... the daemon is dead." He would tell them.
It was then that they were joined by the Priest from before, having now introduced himself as Alexander. He lended his aid in healing the injured, noting that despite how awful things had been they had still been victorious. Cyrus had to agree; many people had died today, but many more had survived. It was a good feeling, if bittersweet. Asked to assist in getting people on board the ship, the sap wizard nodded. "Of course." He said simply, already getting to work. Before he started bringing people onto the ship however, he reached into his shirt and produced the Atlantean artifact that the Priest had given him before.
"What is the purpose of this? And why did you have it?" Cyrus asked the man. Obviously it was important, or else Serena would not have been so desperate to acquire it.
Regardless of Alexander's answer, it was time to continue the real focus of their job; helping those who need it. And so Cyrus spent the rest of his time in Raque doing as much as he could to assist.

Looking outside of the window was really all he had involving the outside world. The silky covering that kept the sun from leaking into the room too much was moved back by a child Esart allowing him to look through it longingly to the outside world he wanted to be a part of. His mind raced with thoughts of being out and under the actual sun over being left a prisoner in his own home by his own family. He took himself away from the window allowing the sun to warm his skin while he forced himself to use his magic over and over in attempt to gain more control over it. The mercury that he could summon responded to him in weird ways where it would appear and then fall to the ground where it would stay docile most of the time he tried to control it. It was only when he got angry that it reacted but not how he wanted it to. The mercury lashed out and carve into his bed that was nearby, leaving it cleaved into two pieces. The loud sound of the bed being attacked would quickly cause a voice to call out to him from outside of his bedroom door. "Master Esart! Is everything okay?!" Peers's voice would call out causing Esart to quickly look over in fear which also caused his mercury to react. The mercury suddenly shot at and through the door hitting the loyal servant that the boy had come to become close with. "No! No!" He yelled out as he rushed towards the door that had been slightly opened by the gravely wounded man just before he was hit. Esart would stand over Peers with tears streaming down his face as his grandfather and grandmother would appear causing his mercury to react again and striking them down just like it had done Peers. Esart's eyes went wide with fear as he realized that he had lost complete control over his magic and it was attacking anyone near him. More of his family would appear and be immediately attacked causing him to scream out in a panic of indiscernible words as the slaughter continued. "STOP! DON'T! WHY WON'T YOU OBEY ME!?" He called out to the mercury after it killed another of his family. The mercury then took the shape of a person's body with its back turned to him before turning around revealing the face of the daemon they had been fighting at the Blue Rose headquarters. "I am not so easily controlled by someone as weak as you are. Such a weak little child in a world full of danger trying to make a name for himself all for approval." She then let out a maniacal laugh before she continued speaking more while Esart looked on in terror. "Like someone like you could ever be strong enough! Watch helplessly as I show you just how inferior you really are!" She continued laughing and then continued to move through the halls of the manor killing while Esart could only chase after her and watch in fear as he could not stop her onslaught.
"NO! NO! STOP!" Esart would scream out filled with fear as he awoke from being unconscious. He would quickly realize he was surrounded by others who had been near him earlier during the battle that had raged and it all came to him where he was. He wasn't trapped in that room anymore and he had control over his magic. He clutched his chest as his heart started to calm down from the dream he had had and stood up. The affects of the dream caused him to think that the daemon was still around but by the looks of things he guessed the battle was over. He knew that the others would not just stop fighting if she was still a threat but that dream held some power over him still. He needed to gain more power and experience in order to defeat things like her or else he would end up being helpless to save himself or anyone else. He knew his mind was the type to create scenarios like that for him to learn from with hos long he was alone in that room in the past. "Sorry." Was all he was able to say as he stood up and looked around more to see exactly what had happened causing him to find the priest on the ship who he started to speak to. "We won, right? I owe you again for saving me it seems too. I will make sure my family knows of how much you helped me." He didn't know if the priest was still completely on their side or not which he thought that most people on the ship could still be enemies but he did know that the man saved him twice so he felt he should offer up some sort of favor or reward. He looked back at the destruction left behind by the battle that they had just raged and could only have a single thought ring out in his mind. A thought that he kept to himself from anyone else as he looked at the destruction. "I survived that...". This thought was then accompanied by his feelings on being home where he could rest up over being put into constant danger like he just was in. "Is there any way that this ship can take me home or should I call for some transportation myself?" He asked with the feeling that he would be quickly denied by those around him seeing all of the injured around them which made him speak out before anyone else could. "Never mind. I will find my own way home."
