Even in all this chaos, it was clear that the senior Azure Deer had heard what she said and came back with two questions of his own. One of them she couldn't answer though she wanted to, she had no idea what was going on as she was as much in the dark as the rest of the group. "I'm sorry sir, I don't really know what's going on myself and the rest of the group that..." she paused for a moment as she thought about her words carefully, it wasn't exactly like he had abandoned them as Cyrus was there that being said, however, he did, in fact, leave them behind as he went ahead to the Blue Roses headquarters. "were left behind as you decided to take initiative and head here quickly and on your own no less without all the information or suspicions that we had." she said her tone respectful the entire time, her words were clear cut however he had gone ahead without the group and though it was only a suspicion at that point it was still vital to how they should have proceeded forward. "As for your second question, did you not hear all these civilians speak the same thing in unison?" she asked holding back the need to either roll her eyes or facepalm which was quite easy given the fact that Willow seemed to get angry at so many people knowing her native tongue. The fact she knew it was a rarity but that was over years of study and gaining a tutor from Haven itself as her parents wanted her well versed and accustomed in all sorts of cultures, languages and traditions as it would make her more appealing to potential suitors. She hated the fact her parents seen her as a piece of property they could fob off to another family to keep their power tightened, even now she could be told that her marriage had been arranged and she would have to comply with their decision. She was still their child after all but was quick to note how they never did any of this to Ozma.
"Every civilian said thanks for the ride in unison in Fila's native tongue, this is a huge red flag as outside the culture not many know the language." she explained to the other, she wanted to calm Fila down but given the circumstances she could understand why they would be upset and angry "Fila, calm yourself." she called out to the other who was at current still on the golem with Cyrus. "You will make mistakes if you get angry and those angry mistakes might be ones you can't come back from." she explained hoping the other would calm and think about such things logically. It was clear that the daemon was behind this but it wasn't until Cyrus started talking, she couldn't make out everything her senior was saying but she got the general gist that she had been right about her suspicions on the woman that they had originally save from the sea emperor on hangman's hill not all that long ago. She hated that she had been right on this occasion and that it had been her plan the entire time and they fell for it hook, line and sinker but it needed to change now or they were all done for. She moved to Willow and Joseph smiling to them "We aren't as strong as some of the others so we need to play it smart and play to our strengths..." she began "I will be helping with the evacuation and healing of the civilians. Joseph if you are able to communicate with two people at the same time keep a line open with Fila and with your senior so he knows anything that is being said and can let the others know." she hated the fact that it would be like a game of Chinese whispers but they had no other choice given what was happening.
She turned to Willow, you will be the only one who can translate what is being said to the others so keep calm and keep talking to Joseph giving him any information you come across. You never know, you might find you will fit more with the Azure Deer than the Silver Eagles." she said pointing to her mantle "You don't seem like the type to want to try and lord it over people so ask questions and learn, if we get through this then we should get together and have tea." she said to the two before giving a wave and running towards the acting head of the blue roses to help move the civilians away from their headquarters to somewhere that it would be safer but that meant they'd be targets but she was sure that the blue roses and the group would make sure they could leave without to much difficulty and with a final look over her shoulders towards the group the junior Golden Dawn member left the fray of battle.
[attr=class, cyrustext]Cyrus listened as Lydia explained that the spell that he and the others could feel affecting them was some sort of Hex, though not of the same sort that she was capable of casting. The Crimson Lion mage encouraged him to let her deal with Serena, and to focus on helping the others get to safety. But as everybody moved to do what they could, Naxel was launched by an attack from one of the daemon's summoned golems and Willow was knocked into the water. His Hydra Hitching had managed to restrain their foe for long enough that Lydia's arrow could land, but she then was able to free herself before the spear could hit and aimed her next attack at he and Lydia.
"Heliades!" Cyrus called out, and the sap wizard's own Predator golem rushed to intercept the attack of the daemon's. "I have no doubt in your abilities, Lydia." He said, keeping his eye on their enemy while Hama watched the other knights guide the civilians onto his golems. "But if she wants this relic, then I'm a target. I would only be putting the civilians at risk if I left with them. Besides, I don't think she's too keen on allowing me to flee so long as I hold it."
Hama tapped her friend on the neck. "Cyrus, the Wyvern golems have as many as they can handle!" She reported to the young man, who nodded. "Get them somewhere safe! Listen to Hinota!" He commanded the draconic beasts, who rose into the air at their master's order and turned to fly away. He opened his grimoire again, and cast another golem spell; this time he summoned a pair of his Odur golems, the tall knights standing guard over the retreat of the others. He commanded one to engage with their target while keeping the other on standby to react to another attack. His eyes flickered to the water, where Willow had been sent flying, and then to Naxel.
He needed to prioritize.
Just for a moment, Cyrus released his Syrup Shroud spell so that he could recast it; this time he placed its protection over Naxel, Willow, Joseph, Esart, and his Heliades. Lydia could heal herself and was tough, so he wasn't too concerned about her safety; he had meant it when he said he had faith in her strength. As for himself, he would find some way to manage. He felt like he was burning through his mana pretty quickly, though. It wasn't often he had to cast so many spells in rapid succession, and the hex certainly wasn't helping as he felt a further drain on his mana skin.
"Odur, quick! Fish out Willow before she sinks too far!" He ordered the second of his knights, the golem moving to the water's edge. It reached its shield-holding arm down into the water, attempting to grab the girl or at least give her something she could grab onto herself. "Hang in there, Willow! We still need you!" He called out as he held the relic closely.

Description: By casting this spell, Cyrus summons a mass of sap that quickly takes on the shape of a castle wall before hardening into a shifting amber-colored aura around Cyrus or his allies, defending them from enemy attacks. On casting, this spell will provide Cyrus with a +9 Durability buff. This defense can fully restore its lost health so long as it is not entirely destroyed, up to three times per casting. Sufficient Control will also allow him to create multiple barriers for different targets.
Name of Spell: Odur Spell Element: Sap Spell Rank: Grand Mana Cost: 50 | 25 Type of Golem: Balanced Applicable Perks: Puppet Master, Armament, Reinforced Golems Description: One of the most powerful forms of golems within Cyrus' sizable arsenal of minions, the Odur is capable of reaching heights of up to 12 meters tall should their creator so desire, and cut an appropriately striking figure. Visually, they resemble powerful armor-clad warriors armed with both a kite shield and a brilliant sword. They constantly give off an amber-colored glow, as though their form alone cannot fully contain their power. In addition to being quite sturdy, they are also surprisingly agile, which makes for a versatile warrior. As a Grand tier golem, they can carry up to five passengers at their base speed of 24 m/s, with a maximum possible speed of 40 m/s. Only two may be summoned at a time.
The Young Azure Deer Had become in a haze whenever a spell had been Casted out over the area. Naxel didn’t really know what was going on at this point. People were talking, screaming, seeming like they were moving around, and it all was just a mess of chaos to him. It all wasn’t until he felt the force hit of something smack him to where he was knocked off of his feet. The Noble went flying through the air until he had made contact with the wall of the Blue Rose Base. Major Pain had shot through his body from the collision with the wall, and then lingered after the wall was struck. His body would lay there in the rubble of where he had went through as small remaining debris continued to fall down as well. Naxel had apparently been knocked into his own personal world that had taken him far away from the area he was looking at. The first thing that he saw was nothing but pitch black darkness. It would be like this for what felt like forever until a light had began to appear off into the distance. The light was small for about a second before it grew to consume the entire area. Naxel was now seeing that he was at home having diner with his mother and father. They were all seeming to have a grand time eating some kinda meat that he really wasn’t sure what it was. All he knew that he was going to eat what was placed down in front of him anyway. Everything he had remembered a few moments ago had been slowly fading away to where that he didn’t really remember what he was actually doing before he was here. No matter what he had thought about it just wouldn’t click of what it was. At this point it basically just basically felt like he had left something that must of been bad to come to a place where everything was all peachy and nice.[break][break]

Esart attempted to take shots at Serena but was not able to connect with any of them which slightly annoyed him but he knew that he would possibly be a burden to Lydia even before he took the shots. His focus was taken off of the fight as he suddenly had a sap like substance come around his body causing him to slightly jump but he was able to figure out that it was Cyrus's doing due to the golem he was riding on. He did not need to be told exactly what was going on with it as he just put faith in the fact that Cyrus was an ally now. "This is going to be weird for a bit..." He spoke to himself as he moved his arms and legs and saw the sap-like aura move along with his body. "Yeah, definitely is going to take some getting used to.." He mumbled to himself again as he kept moving his body around. He then suddenly brought himself back into reality of the situation they were in when the golem he was on was given its order and started to move towards where the civilians were being evacuated from the scene along with one of the female magic knights. Esart had a decision to make which was to stay and fight or help those who were leaving the scene to get away and survive. He knew that he was not as strong as some of the others but had a feeling that he could make an impression on the situation in some way so he decided to get off of the golem that was ordered to go and landed on the ground below. The hex that Lydia yelled to them about was still affecting him but he pushed through the feeling it gave him and made his way towards Cyrus who he yelled out towards telling his next action. "I'm going to help with getting her out of the water! I'll keep my eyes open for enemies that may try to stop you in some way!" He yelled out and then stood near the water where the golem was that was trying to help Willow along with a mass of mercury near him and his grimoire in hand. He would shoot off his mercury at any enemies he could that tried to prevent them from saving Willow.

What could he do now? All the civilians that could be moved had now been by Cyrus. All the other innocent people they could try to save was stuck in the weird trance, stuck inside the building. Even if they hadn't, it seemed like Cyruses golems were unable to fit more people now. Those people would be safe, right? But if the enemy wasn't stopped soon, the individuals on those creations would be the only survivors of this disaster. That would be a small win, considering how many had already died. Part of him felt at fault. It was the group he had been part of that had not realized she was a deamon. Because of that she had been taken to the base where all the survivors were being taken to. The issue had been that she had looked like any other human. The only things that stood out had been how she acted, which had been brushed off as trauma. It had been realized too late that it had nothing to do with fear or horror. How did the one man feel being the only real survivor of that hill? Was that why she kept acting so unworried and uncaring for his well being? Only a survivor can tell others what you did and what you are. As long as the survivors on the golems survived, that would include that one man. What kind of tales would he have to tell and would they ever want to share them?
The nightmare of being stuck surrounded by beasts as people are torn open one by one. He had been too, but Hinota had saved him. They definitely needed more medical care after this, but at least she had made sure he was stable. That woman with the golden dawn had already become someones hero, it was hard not to have some admiration for that group. He didn't want to leave the azure deers, but she had been honorable, kind, and caring the entire time he had been around her. Her senior Cyrus was powerful but strong minded. The man must have seen a lot too, yet his mind wasn't acting fogged at all. That person was acting with a sharp mind and caring heart as well. He smiled to Hinota before she left. This felt like a strange start to a nice friendship, “Tea sounds nice, I hope we both make it for that.” He couldn't say be safe, because that wasn't what a magic knight prioritized. This was thje best farewell he could offer, along with a smile and slight wave. He could be tired and everything else later, but not now. Now no longer being totally consumed in keeping his spell up and moving civilians, he looked around again. That was the realization that not all the civilians had left that could. Who was the well dressed stranger? Likely a noble with how luxurious the clothes looked.
Naxel looked totally passed out and against a wall. Part of him wanted to run over and grab his own poor senior, but if he got that close to he fray? Then the peachy male would only make himself a possible target. He wanted to ask why someone not in a squad was staying behind and helping, but at a time like this? It didn't matter. As long as he didn't get in the way, things would be fine. It seemed like he wasn't at this point. Cobborn looked over at his spells temporary map, a frail object not meant to be used nearly as long as it had been. He tried to look at it more, but it seemed that the force effecting the area had caused it to crumble. This made sense, but it was still upsetting. Did this mean most of his spells would crumble until it was gone? ~What can I do now to help?~ A question aimed at himself, signed out without expecting an answer to be handed readily.

She had taken too long to react, caught off guard by the words of the little girl, the words of her people. Someone that had no right to talk like that, who should have no knowledge of the language, she was speaking it fluently. Despite her bravado and stoicism in the face of this sudden revelation, she had paused in fear for but a moment, the shock setting in and paralyzing her. In the next moment she knew, she was cast through the air and into the water, where all the scrambling and flailing didn't do much to help her get back to shore.
If this was not nightmarish enough it was like one of those dreams where your brain was working against you. That sensation of moving as hard and as fast as you could, without any sign of getting further any sooner than you started. But Hinota's words rang out in her head, she reached for the golem of Cyrus when it came for her, trying to keep the words playing on repeat in her mind. She shouldn't let her anger get the better of her.
If she was helped out, she could get some time to listen to what Hinota said to her. That was before the doll-like mage took a chance to get out of the fight and help with the evacuation efforts. She nodded, understanding full well what Hinota meant. Part of her didn't feel like she belonged here, she wanted to be with the azure deer, purely because of the tree base.
If she was able to get out of the water at all, she could get herself ready for one last stand. Her mana had come back enough that she could do a little bit of casting, there was not much else she could do but wait for a chance to make a strike.
[attr="class","florencetext"]It seemed the vice captains arrow managed to strike the deamon applying the hex thanks to Cyrus. However her glass spear wasn't as lucky as the deamon managed to break free of the spell slowing her down in time to dodge the attack spell. It seemed the others were taking her advice to well and two of them even paid for it taking a hit. As the Azure mage hit the wall and didn't seem to get back up Lydia would use her control to make a second light spear throwing it at the feet of Naxel. One of you take that spell I just threw and give it to Naxel. Lydia would then allow her glass spear to vanish as it was clear she was going to need faster spells to actually hit the deamon. As the golem came at her and Cyrus Lydia was able to easily avoid it. Okay you can stay but the others need to get the citizens out now. Lydia's tone this time would be a more commanding one making it clear this time she was ordering them to get out. [break][break] Lydia would then cast a new spell as the deamon started to speak. Light Magic: Balmung As the first light sword appeared in Lydia's hand she would send it towards the deamon before using her control to make a second light sword in her now free hand. I'm afraid that the only one not making it out alive this time is you. Lydia would then fly towards the deamon to fight close up. Once the vice captain reached Serena she would slash twice at the deamon. However the pink haired mage wouldn't stop with just the two attacks as Lydia would then use her left leg to kick the deamon. Lydia was leaving the golem for Cryus to deal with which hopefully the sap mage wouldn't have to much trouble with.

[attr=class, cyrustext]Cyrus watched as his defensive spell shrouded his allies, briefly taking note of the fact that Esart seemed distracted by the protective aura, mumbling something to himself that the sap wizard was unable to hear. The young Silva offered to assist in retrieving Willow from the water, running to do so while keeping an eye out for enemies that may still be in the surrounding water. He noticed that Joseph's previously activated map spell seemed to have faded away; was he tired? Or was it because of the hex affecting them?
Since Esart was helping to fish out Willow, Cyrus returned his focus to Serena and Lydia after sparing Naxel a brief glance; that impact had definitely been intense, he figured, from the fact that he was still down. Lydia was continuing her assault on the daemon, transforming with a spell he hadn't seen before as she fired off a barrage of attacks. She even tossed a sword near the others, instructing them to give it to Naxel. If Cyrus had to guess, it was probably akin to the spell she had provided he and the others with during their adventure in Atlantis.
With the increasingly distant tug of mana from his fleeing Wyvern golems filling him in on the rest of the necessary information for what was going on at the moment, Cyrus decided to get back to the fight as well and tightened his grip on the artifact hidden in his shirt. His Heliades had managed to intercept Serena's own golem when it attacked, and Lydia seemed to have the she-demon in her sights, so he would focus on dealing with her minion.
"Heliades, attack! Odur, you as well!" He commanded his own soldiers, sending the two of them at their target (the second Odur was still working to get Willow out of the water). Though he ordered the attack out loud, he kept the details of it to mental commands; his Odur would charge in with its shield raised as it went for a low, sweeping slice with its shining blade. The Heliades on the other hand would take advantage of its bladed wings, whirling towards the water monster from above in a flurry of sharp feathers and its blunt hammer and shield.

[attr="class, cyrusstats] Combat Notes Ordered Heliades and one Odur to attack Serena's golem while the other Odur continues trying to help Willow
With Naxel out of the picture, there were the civilians that were loading onto the golems while Serena just weaved through the spells being cast at her. Estart took potshots at Serena, while then changing tactics to help Willow instead. Once in the water he could feel the negative energy and mana signatures heading their way. Serena was just trying to buy time…
Once Willow was handed to Estart and the golems had their orders the fight was on, the golem that Serena had summoned was fighting with one of the sap golems when it was overpowered and then ran through. The golems continued on their path to attack Serena while Lydia threw a spear over at naxel to try and help heal him, asking someone close to help out with that task while the Golems were filled and allowed to fly out Serena waved her hand as she summoned the orb to her. The ebb and flow of the hex was making moving for anything besides Serena and Lydia a pain in the ass. However as the orb traveled through the base, pieces of the base began to explode outward and a small debris cloud began to orbit the small artifact. Lydia’s attack was barely put off as her spear obliterated yet another Golem, a look of fear spread across her face.
Joseph was doing good as a rescue director, but he would notice that Naxel would not get up...even after Lydia’s spell was thrown at his feet. The boy was now the closest to the senior Azure Deer member and some decisions would have to be made...to trust in the people to get out, or to save his senior and possibly risk an untimely demise.
The orb continued its ascent.
Willow once saved and brought back to the surface by Estart would be sucking air hard, as the effects of the orb affected how they moved in the water she might have died had it gone on just a little bit longer. Regardless, they now needed to get onto a Golem...or risk being left there as shit was about to hit the fan. The priest of course had some Blue Rose magic knights on his supplemental construct magic and was getting ready as he sensed the oncoming horde. He directed his magical ship towards the area behind them, turning the Blue Rose base into a land and naval battle.
TLDR Most of the Civilians have made it out, the Blue Rose knights went with the mysterious priest to defend the base. Naxel is out of commission and will be receiving a permanent *Wound* based off of a random roll I decide. Joseph has to make a hard choice, Estart had saved Willow and was between a rock and a hard place while Cyrus and Lydia were doing their best against Serena who had summoned the orb to her position, it began to destroy the Blue Rose base as it moved to her.

Esart had managed to get a hold of Willow by jumping into the water and grabbing hold of her. He could tell that she was weakened from what had happened to her but he had his pride that would not allow either of them to be done in by some water. A feeling of dread would come over him but he would not completely get what it meant. He was not too versed in feeling the energy of others and also was too focused on saving Willow at this point to really think much more into the feeling. All he could think was that he could blame it on the feeling of being in the murky water was giving him. He would get her to the shore and then got himself to the shore where he was huffing in air harder than he thought he would. He could tell that it was definitely thanks to the hex that was cast over the area and would notice the woman he saved would be in a similar way causing a feeling of chivalry to wash over him. "Are you okay? There is a hex over the area thanks to that daemon woman. Can you move?" He asked her in order to make sure she was fine but the feeling he felt earlier would come back to him this time but it felt like multiple needles pricking his skin causing him to tremble slightly and his eyes to open wide. "This feeling...? This is what I felt with those things at the church but this time it is different.. There is more of them.." He spoke out loud as he pieced together his thoughts. He knew that he would be at a disadvantage if they stayed on the ground and did not find themselves above it in some way. "I don't know who you are but I'm Esart Silva and I'm hoping saving you has shown you that you can trust me so I'm going to need you to follow me. We need to get above the ground to get into a better position." He would reach out to grab Willow by her hand. He did not know the girl and he definitely felt weird reaching out to the hand of some random person he had just met but something caused him to think that this was what he should do. "I know you may still need time to rest but I don't think we have that much time at all."
He would wait for her to take his hand or for her to move herself before rushing towards Cyrus and golems. He was not completely sure how his next action would turn out but he had a feeling that if things were to go their way they would need to work together to find some sort of strategy that could cause them to achieve some sort of victory in what was becoming a more and more dire situation for them. "Heeey! Sap guy!" He didn't know Cyrus's name at all yet so he hoped that he could get a response by simply calling him the first thing that came to his mind. "Please let us on a golem so that we can help in this fight!" He continued to yell out to Cyrus who he had put his complete trust into. He hoped that Willow would be able to fight some because he knew that he could not keep up with the others and may need help doing so in some way. He hoped that he could possibly use his weakness as some sort of exploit against the daemon woman but did not know exactly how he could go about it yet.

Lydia had been only seen briefly by Joseph during the entire mission. Everyone may have all been debriefed in the blue rose base on what was happening, but her and his own group had gone into different directions. She had saved many, where they had only actually saved one man in the end. That would only be if nothing hurts that man while he and other civilians escaped. Everyone returned around similar times, but there hadn't been any pause or break during the short time since their return. There was no way to get to know anyone better during this chaotic time, not that Cobborn knew. Even so, her confidence and power had been unarguable from the start. Before everything had started today, he had a lot of different opinions of Naxel. He had thought they were an unshakable person, but perhaps that was because they were his senior. He had been the person that had shown the peachy haired boy around and had been kind. It had been alright that they had misjudged his intense emotions for emotional fragility more than once, because its hard to correct someone when you can't talk. The cracks had shown on the hill however, even if the brunette had managed to regain themselves after. The young man wanted to still fully believe in his senior. Who better to wake them and make sure he gets it?
Life can be a strange thing that can cause one to have to make unwanted choices. In times like this, it was as swift as the movements in a battle. Those not even involved in the fight end up effected due to the proximity. The base was starting to fall apart, so a choice was made without even a pause to think or be fearful. It was a swift and natural reaction from one who head a call to join when very young. Maybe it was a good thing that he continued to try to make himself worthy, even while thinking that he had taken too long or that it was too late. Not many would go shooting into a building at the first sign that it could be going down. It wasn't that he was trying to abandon Naxel, but rather that there was a higher calling that had pulled the peachy young man away from the senior azure deer. In the building he rushed, doing his best to get them out. “Lets go everyone, we can do it!” At least the only civilians outside was the one helping, and those who had escaped via sap golems. His voice was strong, his hands ready to help anyone that had a hard time moving. Clearly not everyone could be saved, there were too many civilians inside. He was going to try his best though, trying his best to give the people some amount of confidence. Words started to pour from the mouth, forming a makeshift song.
It was his biggest attempt to try get people moving, to snap them out of whatever trance they had been in before now, to get everyone out. It wasn't a spell, but a voice was still a powerful thing. “The sun will shine again to dry up all the rain. Our feet can can help us move on to reach drier days if we reach the next day. With a strong heart and feet moving along we can try to keep living on. On those brighter days we could try to reach there will be good days and nice new memories.” Even a stupid small song was better than just giving up on motivating them. Anything to try to save them. He would only leave the building and give up when he was sure that there was no way to stay in any longer without a quick death.

[attr=class, cyrustext]Cyrus watched out of the corner of his eye as Joseph got to work on trying to lead the civilians to somewhere marginally safer, and was thankful for the decision. As much as he wanted to make sure that Naxel was safe, the civilians came first in a situation like this; it was something his friend also knew, and a choice he felt certain Naxel would approve of were he cognizant enough to keep track of what was going on.
Cyrus' Odur and Heliades managed to overpower and destroy Serena's own minion, racing through their fallen target and towards the daemoness. He caught sight of their foe making some sort of gesture with her hand, but his lack of sensory meant he had no clue what was going on or what she was doing beyond the fact that it was probably not good for them.
It was then that Esart called out to him, addressing him by the magic he used since he had no idea who the Golden Dawn mage was. He requested to be allowed to join in the fight, and Cyrus looked at him and the rescued Willow. While it was true that any help they could get was valuable, he was reluctant to pull two people that were so inexperienced compared to himself and Lydia.
His eyes briefly shifted to Naxel's body, where he spotted the blade that Lydia had thrown and told the others to try and use it on the Azure Deer member. "One of you grab that sword! If it's anything like Lydia's other healing spell I've seen, it should be able to replenish mana to those who wield it." He ordered the two, sending a command to his golem. "My golem will follow your orders, but you are not to engage this foe directly yourselves, understand?!"
He wished he could summon another golem for the pair to escape on, but he didn't think he could spare any more mana at the moment since he was already sustaining several spells in a tough fight. He had his golems, the Syrup Shroud, and the golems fleeing with the civilians.
Cyrus sighed, focusing his attention as he got ready to continue pressing his attack. "Heliades, Odur, attack!" He ordered the two golems still under his control for the battle. The Heliades flew up into the air and then dove down towards Serena, ready to try and crush her with its might hammer. The knight, meanwhile, performed a charge much like the one it had done previously, with its shield raised to defend and sword drawn to attack.
Hama looked back at Esart and Willow as Cyrus' other Odur stood ready in front of them, but its head turned to look at the crumbling Blue Rose Headquarters, its sensory picking something up. "Cyrus, I think the Odur noticed something!" She told her partner, who glanced back at it for a moment.
"You both be ready! I think something's coming!" The spirit advised the youths from her perch on Cyrus' shoulder. The Odur shifted stance, looking in the direction of where the orb was approaching from. It could feel something big.

[attr="class","florencetext"]Lydia watched as her light sword that was sent at the deamon was blocked by one of her golems. The glass mage always did hate fighting golem mages they were such a pain to deal with always using golems to stop spells. However as Lydia's spell destroyed the deamons golem Lydia could see a look of fear on Serena's face. Come on don't get to scared just yet. After all I haven't even used my archmage spell yet. The deamon was fast as she was able to avoid Lydia's first slash and kick however Serena wasn't so lucky with the second slash. Lydia was zoning the others out by now just focusing on the fight at hand. Which was more than likely a good thing as she would of had some choice words for the two junior mages trying to stay behind. The vice captain however was able to sense the mana beast making there way to the group. Lydia would throw her senior healing spell to Cyrus to help the golden dawn mage. [break][break] Cyrus use all but one of your golems to fight the mana beast coming towards us. We can't fight a battle on two fronts. Lydia would then notice that Estart and Willow were still around. You two help with the mana beast Cyrus and I will be able to handle her. I guess it's time I sped things up. Light Magic: Brynhildr As Lydia was casting her archmage spell she would allow her grand transformation spell to fade causing her appearance to return to normal. She would also free fall for a moment since she couldn't naturally fly but the fall would only last a moment as her appearance changed once more and she gained six wings that allowed her to move faster than most mages could only dream at moving. Lydia would then call her grand light sword back to her hand before flying at the deamon trying to slash it two more times.

Post by Willow Omens on Sept 17, 2020 23:51:21 GMT -5
Sinking, drifting down into the water, she went on down and down into the depths at first. At least, that's what it felt like to the girl as she was struggling her hardest just to tread water and stay afloat, get back to the shore. Sure, she had the power of water at her command, but this woman, this daemon, had such control it was like staring into the abyss. The primordial fear that had been instilled in her about the stories of the thing that took her island, those were the crushing depths of pressure that caused her to deadman in the water.
And so down she went, panicking that this was the prelude to another piece of land being swallowed by the ocean, only she could surmise but one thing that had taken Old Haven, demons, some demonic force that struggled its way up to the surface. Her fear of childhood stories made her more afraid to do anything, even as the darkness started to close in on her, a hand weakly reaching up for something. And her hand was met by the grasp of another clutching hers, Esart.
Willow sputtered and gasped as hard as she could. SPitting up a lung full of water over the side of the golem, her throat burned. It was like she had just thrown up and now she was washing her mouth out with hot sauce. Needles, knives, shards of glass, whatever you could think of, it was like she had tried to swill it around her mouth. Coughing, clutching her chest, it felt so much smaller than it was. The poor girl looked up at Esart and slowly closed her eyes.
Willow would be out of commission for a minute or two, though she gave a weak thumbs up to indicate she was okay enough to handle being on the golem.
The Blue Rose Base-Entire Party.(Joseph, Willow, Estart, Lydia, Cyrus)
Estart, saved Willow, who once they were able to free themselves of the clutches of death and with a quick plea, Cyrus allowed them a golem to get them out of the water and into the air, causing Willow to cough up and spit out the saltwater that had nearly been the cause of her death. Though weak, Willow gave her consent for the next part of the battle of Raque as Estart had them up in the air to get a better vantage point. The horde that had arrived, and was already being engaged by the man that saved Lydia and Estart at the church along with several Blue Rose knights, was massive...it was an invasion force and they were not going to hold back.
Alexander Von Shuurke was using his magic in conjunction with the Blue Rose knights as several enemies fell to them, but soon they began to climb up his construct and the horde moved towards the shore...there was little that anyone could do...Cyrus noted the sword that was thrown at Naxel and asked for someone...anyone to take it up and heal the man, a nameless Blue Rose knight did so before making her way with the badly beaten Naxel towards Joseph, the mage had really stepped out of his comfort zone and even as his senior was being moved towards the golem, he sang to soothe the hearts of those being loaded and transported by golem. It helped to clear the minds of those trying to escape as the battle raged on, but the longer they remained there...the more that pulsing, desperate feeling would emanate from the Blue Rose base.
Lydia was not letting the archdaemon go, and neither was Cyrus, their attacks were brutal and designed to take out the daemon at all costs. The thing was, as she was taking the hits, there was something odd...They were most certainly hitting her or she would be dodging them using a mixture of her own movements and golems, but it was not until Lydia last hit her and her transformation took effect did she feel something wrong.
Serena had a smile on her face, a complete 180 from her earlier look of fear. She had cast an archmage illusion on the area. She had made clones of herself, but they looked and felt perfect...Then there was the pulsing of the orb...dread...and an uneasy feeling xpread about, the negative emotions of the souls that the orb has imprisoned...Serena was trying something desperate. The Blue Rose base crumbled as this all happened. Cyrus turned to see the orb now in the wreckage of the base, that uneasy feeling sweeping over him. Lydia would destroy the illusion, just as Serena would look to be on the ground, not killed by any means, the illusion...sapped her strength?
TLDR All the roads of this battle are starting to converge, with Serena having taken enough damage to knock her out, something was wrong...the orb moving towards them was now expressing all these negative emotions as it came closer...the end game was near. The horde had arrived and the fight was on for Raque as the priest, Alexandr Von Shuurke and the remaining magic knights all began to fight a desperate battle. Lydia, and Cyrus both attacked, as an illusion was stretched across the battlefield...Joseph was doing his best to calm the minds of the citizens with song...his plan was working, but would he make it out in time...or would he end up like his senior?
