The attack was on, the group now armed with their grimoires were already casting as Tskumi charged into battle along with the other guardians. The situation looked bleak and it was shocking how willing the Atlanteans were to go to war with the sunken...their ancestors. However the actions of the mages spoke volumes as the Green cloaked female summoned a great beast of lore to the Atlanteans, even the sunken looked afraid, but the hive mentality took over. The Red cloaked female summoned two great weapons and looked ready to go to war before challenging the Atlantean elder, who brought up his weapon before smashing two sunken to the ground and beheading them in a single fluid movement, the being was like a modern god of war himself. As the two mages went to fight, Tskumi just swinging his weapon with a reckless brutality the spears struck their targets before impaling two more behind it acting almost like pseudo area attacks. The kraken was a monster alright and even though one swing took out over a hundred sunken, it was overrun in no time flat as the sunken swarmed onto the creation like ants and brought it down till it stopped moving. The sunken roared in victory and continued to fight on and advance...the horde couldn't be stopped.
The golden cloaked mage and the black cloaked mage were next up as the black cloaked mage used a peculiar black ice spell to make sure the Atlanteans were defended, while the Sunken were attacked, the golden cloaked mage created a massive amber golem made of sap as it joined the fight. It swung its weapons and attacked the sunken and combined with the black ice spells the sunken fell in waves, but just as with the last golem, this one was swarmed over as they pummeled the damn thing into the ground...it seemed as though they could do little to actually slow the pace of the horde as it advanced.
Just as Tskumi’s area experienced the horde advancement the second elder appeared, riding a Chasm Crawler. The man was leading two others into battle before jkumping off before the group as the crawlers attacked the sunken.
”We don’t have anymore time to waste here...you all must escape...there is a tunnel under the chair I was sitting on when you were inside. I will stay here and assist Tskumi...Kariko has already made sure the others escaped...if we fall here...we can only hope you will avenge us. Remember the power of these beasts well.” He motioned to the Chasm Crawlers before back to the elders house. ”GO! NOW! The fate of the world rests on you….I hope the water spirit guides you.”
New Round, No Word count requirements, You all must escape in 3000 Words or less...combined. Failure to do so this round will result in the Sunken advancing positions and the group will enter direct combat.
[attr="class","florencetext"] Lydia would watch as sunken after sunken fell the groups attacks. Tskumi even without magic was holding his own with out magic felling quite a few of the creatures himself. However as Artmies' golem got take out and Cyrus' followed shortly after it was clear they were fighting a losing battle no matter how hard they tried. The elders seemed to know this as well because Juun would show up on what the glass could assume was the creatures they were suppose to tame before. As the man spoke about the four mages needed to leave the pink haired mage would bite her lip it wasn't like Lydia to run from a fight but she also knew that if they stayed all of them would die. Letting out a sigh she would speak up as she called back both a sword and a spear. You guys heard him as much as I'd like to stay and help him fight we need to go. We can save there people if we all die here Lydia would then make her way back to the elders house with the other three magic knights making her way to the hidden tunnel he spoke about however she would let other go first.

Rosalia’s eyes narrowed at the situation. This looked bad. There was too many of them. No matter how many weapons or golems or spells they called down to aid them in battle, this was a numbers game, and they were losing badly. Fuck fuck fuck. The Atlanteans were insane if they went into this fight without fear, but then again, they had been doing that their whole lives. This was their world. A blurry comparison to her own and if she survived she’d tell stories of it, praising the blue-skinned warrior’s bravery. [break][break] Her attention was attracted instantly to the loud thumping sound of a Chasm Crawler, ridden by one of the familiar faces from earlier. His words made her wince. They wanted the mages escape without them? Fucking hell. She wouldn’t fucking stand for it. [break][break] “You can’t be serious, you must come with us.” Rosalia shouted at the elder, clearly unhappy at the situation. She was a strategist. She could figure this out. And as she did, she moved back towards the cavern they came from. The Black Bull mage wasn’t going to be having any of it. At the elder’s next words to go, it seemed that no matter what she said, the choice had already been made. The beauty bit her lower lip and groaned. Lady Ravencrest seemed to agree that the situation was dire and that they had to retreat. [break][break] The Ice witch would sigh and re-use her Sheer Cold spell on the elder, protecting causing some AOE damage upon the enemies around him while giving him a small shield. It was all she could to, before turning her back on the combat and following the others into safety. Good god, she was carrying the lives of a whole population on her shoulders and it wasn’t what she signed up for. She wanted to protect people, not make sacrifices. This is why the red-head was happy she wasn’t a noble or a royal. She was happy to leave the scary decisions to the guys in the big boots while she followed simple instructions, drank and had sex. Fucking hell. [break][break] “I hate this so much.” Rosalia muttered, glancing at Cyrus, Lydia and Artemis. She didn’t find that they deserved this safety that the Atlanteans were providing them. She didn’t deserve this trust. The beauty had been to war before, and it was what drove her to alcohol and men in the first place. Man when she got home she was gonna knock herself out so hard. Hopefully Malcolm or Zaven were down to get super fucking pissed together. If not, she could always go find Yuurei. [break][break] Rosalia slipped under the secret rock tunnel to safety, hissing to herself again. “Even if we escape, what the hell is the plan here? There’s too many of those fuckers.” She questioned audibly, careful not to slip on the wet rocks with her black heeled boots. Seriously...she’d walked in many places but old bad tunnels with salt and water slime were NOT the ideal surface.
Mana Conservationist: You will be able to use spells with less mana than others when it comes to casting spells! Each rank of spell will have its spell cost go down by the following amounts, please remember that this is based on the rank of the spell not the character! [Juniors]: 2 | [Intermediate]: 4 | [Senior]: 6 | [Grand]: 10 | [Archmage]: 16
Description: A zone of ice-cold energy spreads from the air and ground around Rosalia outwards, covering a 40 meter cubed radius and dealing senior damage to all enemies within her range, knocking them back 8 meters. Allies (including the caster) gain a shield blocking senior rank damage that appears as an invisible shell of icy black mana. This AOE can be maintained for its affected area, repeatedly dealing damage to Rosalia's enemies if they don't move outside of its range.
Artemis found herself at awe of what happened. It seems that these creatures were more than what they had bargained for. From what she had expected, her golem would be able to plough through more than what it had been able to. It was her strongest golem spell, after all. She had also hoped that the shock value of the fearsome creature would be enough to a least buy it time to be able to cause tantamount casualties. Yet, it was not meant to be. The creatures were strong. Stronger than anticipated. They had swarmed her golem like ants, and had taken it into the abyss without nary a problem. Of course, it was still able to leave its mark, but the truth of the matter is that they were outmatches. At least, with this few people.[break][break]
She would then turn her attention to one of the elders. It seems that they had a different plan. Escape. [break][break]
Artemis almost said no. She had business with these creatures, and she could not, in good conscience, leave the people fending for themselves when she knew she could do something about it. Her life was not in immediate danger, though she knew that if they stayed and fought, they would be hard pressed to win.[break][break]
Artemis nodded, taking note that the Chasm Crawler seems to be as fearsome as they had described it to be, now that she was seeing it in person. It would do well to look for a way to acquire one for their purposes in the future, as suggested by the Elders earlier.[break][break]
She would follow now. There was nothing left for her to say as she contemplated the fight. And of course thinking about the fight ahead. Her companions would say their say, and Artemis could only nod. [break][break]
“We continue on. Hopefully we can find ourselves one of those Chasm Crawlers,” thinking back to the creature that the Elder had told them to keep in mind. “Remember the power of these beasts well; that was what we were told. It must be important.” She shook her head, looking instead forward as they continued their way.
[attr=class, cyrustext]To say that the defensive effort was going poorly would be quite the understatement. Though Cyrus had certainly anticipated a great deal of resistance from their enemies, he had not expected the golems of both himself and Artemis to be so casually overwhelmed, even through the added layer of his defenses. He was glad that his golems were surrounding him as the Sunken waged their war on they and the Atlanteans, otherwise he might not have been able to make his way back to the other knights as they regrouped.
One of the elders, Juun he believed, fought through the crowd of monsters to their side atop a creature Cyrus could recognize as one of the Chasm Crawlers that the elders had been telling them about the importance of. He urged the party to fall back into a secret escape route he had set up, updating them on the other elders' predicaments as well. The news that Kariko had managed to escort others to safety was a relief to the Golden Dawn mage; while losing any of a civilization such as this was a tragedy, lives could not be so easily rebuilt as houses and roads.
Still, the idea of leaving them to fight such a one-sided battle was not optimal. Rosalia agreed with him on this, but he held his tongue for the moment. It was the smart thing to do, them escaping; their efforts would go to waste if they were overwhelmed as easily as they just were again.
Lydia said as much as the four made their way into the tunnel, Rosalia asking what they were expected to do and Artemis reminding her of the Chasm Crawlers. Cyrus nodded. "That would seem our best bet." He agreed, crossing his arms as he thought back to Juun's words. Hama settled onto his shoulder, looking at him and then the others as they got on their way. As they walked he took the time to fill Hama in on all the details she had missed while they were disconnected. But something was eating at Cyrus about the elder's parting words.
"Juun said something else, there at the end..." He noted, and Hama could tell what it was that he was talking about. "He said, 'I hope the water spirit guides you'. The way he worded that... that wasn't just a wish of good faith, I think. Usually something like that is 'may the water spirit guide you'. Maybe it's just their grasp of the common tongue... but something tells me otherwise."
He looked up ahead of them, where Lydia was leading the pack. "They told us how important it would be to tame Chasm Crawlers, but not where we could find them." Hama pointed out. "Maybe... the water spirit is supposed to guide us?" It was mostly just a shot in the dark, but any sort of discussion could bring about a good idea. Hell, any idea would be nice at this point.

The party was alone for now, when they made it to the escape tunnel a few moments later there was a great explosion and they could no longer turn back. It was becoming obvious that this was becoming a suicide mission at the rate everything was happening and the sound of fighting, while becoming a distant memory...would still sting a bit as they had undoubtedly lost...leaving the Atlanteans to a fate that was possibly worse than death as a familiar feeling would wash over them. (Those with 75 or less sensory abilities would only recognize this as the aura of the Calamity possessed Dio. Those with 76 or higher would feel as if the longer they waited...the more powerful the Aura would become.) Hopefully the party would move from the escape tunnel, finding themselves in a giant canyon, the only way back is through the tunnel they came through...but the feeling of dread would permeate even the air around them as the scent of blood and decay would become a much more prominent smell along with having to excavate the entrance of the escape tunnel
Walking along for the next hour was almost maddening as there was literally nothing except the sound of rushing water all around them and the feeling of a wind that should not actually be there. Something was off though, not just with the situation, but the fact that every so often a gust would pass over them in the darkness...A moment of realization would come to the players as they realize something is above them passing by periodically...as if it was hunting them. However if they looked ahead they would see footholes in the wall about 100 yards away. They could climb up if they wanted, or they could confront the thing above them...watching and waiting to strike.
You can choose to just keep on moving and ignore what is above you, but it will add an EXTRA 1,500 Words on top of what you already have. However if one of you chooses to look up and find a way to illuminate above you. The optional Encounter will occur.
Either way, you will not have a chance to prepare for a defensive attack if you move up the footholds or find the thing above you.
The Round is 2,000 words to progress to the fight, or 3,500 to progress smoothly.
The fight begins the absolute moment ANY PLAYER looks up into the abyss...a Cavern Crawler will attack.
Artemis would trudge on with the group. There was some idle chatter, though nothing that caught the young woman’s ears as being important. Truly, her mind had been wandering since they had started their escape. [break][break]
The tunnel was long and arduous, though there had been something that had been biting the young woman’s curiosity. It was her latent sensory abilities picking up something dark, and malevolent. She would take a moment to realize just what it reminded her of. [break][break]
“The Calamity...Dio…” She would whisper to herself, feeling the presence grow the longer they had waited. Artemis would shake her head of those thoughts. Of the death and destruction that they had left behind, the Atlanteans fighting for their lives as they entrusted their fates to the four Magic Knights. They could not fail them. Not now.[break][break]
There was something else as well that the young woman had been mulling over. Something that was said before they had escaped. “The water spirit…” She had heard of the Four Great Spirits, and the water spirit was one of them. A great ally, and a fearsome foe, Artemis could only imagine just how easier this mission might be if they had the water spirit by their side. But, she would assume it was just a saying. A good luck sort of thing.[break][break]
They would then reach what seemed to be a canyon. The place looked desolate, with death and decay around them. They would continue on, trudging as they made their way to places unknown.[break][break]
“Wait.” [break][break]
Artemis held her hand up. She felt something. The water rushing around had been calming to the young woman, that she had almost missed the presence. It was there, just above them Stalking? Perhaps. But it was there. Artemis used her Ki senses to try and track whatever had been following them. She would turn her head to the right, her left hand already placed around the opening of the satchel that held her grimoire.[break][break]
The Chasm Crawler...more of a moniker than actual fact in how the creature acts. The creature is a Dominantly large being of pure power. It seems to scrape along the Chasm walls, sometimes move as if it were swimming through the air. The player’s task is to capture one so that they can escape to Atlantis proper.
The moment that the party entered the canyon the Xhasm Crawler was already on its way towards the sound of battle. When it found the group it began to stalk them, moving soundlessly as it wanted to make sure they would not have a chance to attack, but right as it was almost 3 meters above the party there was one that looked up, and the beast went into a fight mode.
It threw four of its tentacles at the group, aimed at each player respectfully. The damage of the attack was [GRAND] in rank and its speed was 45 m/s. The appendages looked like toothy pieces of a squad trying to get its prey as the beast dropped low enough for them to see it. It opened its maw and roared loudly.
The Chasm Crawler is a being that Will be a challenge even for the Wizard King and anyone with a water based element will only deal half damage per attack. The players must bring the creature down to junior health in order to capture the beast. Once captured the one that scored the final strike on the Crawler must write 500 words bonding the creature to their mana signature.
Once the creature is bonded to the player’s mana signature...it will take the players to Atlantis proper.
[attr=class, cyrustext]For the most part, things seemed quiet as the party made their way through the dank corridor of the escape tunnel. A large explosion rocked the path as their entry way was sealed. As the party moved Cyrus felt a familiar chill, reminiscent of the sensation given off by the strange entity that had possessed Dio. What exactly it meant, though, he had no idea. Eventually the path opened up though, into what seemed to be a large cavern or underground canyon.
Cyrus had no way to tell how long they spent in this place as they continued on their path, his sense of time distorted by the lack of anything that could tell him otherwise. Even Hama, usually so exuberant and full of energy was quiet. All they could hear was the sound of rushing water, which was unsurprising given their location. But something still felt... off. As if it were on the edge of his thoughts, Cyrus felt something, but he could not for the life of him pinpoint exactly what it was. Not for the first time he cursed his lack of Sensory abilities, and the fact that he had not yet begun his Ki training.
Artemis was also deep in thought as they walked, muttering about the Calamity and Dio. She seemed to take an interest in Juun's mention of the water spirit as well. But suddenly she called for them to stop, and Cyrus halted immediately. He tensed up, in anticipation of what she might say next. But words did not come.
Instead, she looked up. His eyes followed.
In an instant a new figure set upon the four, having been stalking them from above. And it was close! How could they have taken so long to notice the presence of such a large creature so close?!
Cyrus had no time to think, or even react, as the beast descended and swung out at the party with its powerful tendrils. One such appendage struck the sap wizard, knocking him down from the sheer force. Hama rushed to her partner's side. "Cyrus! Are you okay?!" She asked, worried. Cyrus grunted as he sat up, stunned and sore but relatively well off. It was a good thing his usual defenses were on the strong side. "I'm fine," He assured her as the Chasm Crawler came into view. It was just like in the picture they had been shown by the elders. He eyed his spirit companion, and she caught the look he gave her. Hama grinned, and stowed herself away in the boy's grimoire as he pushed himself to his feet.
"Not how I expected this to go from the start," He noted, wiping his mouth as his book opened and began to glow. Maybe it was just the rush from getting hit so hard, or maybe he was just eager to actually do something after so long in silence. "But you're just what we were looking for! Hydra Hitching!"
At his words, a mound of sap formed on each of the Golden Dawn mage's sided. A single tendril rose from each of the masses, before shooting towards the Chasm Crawler at high speeds. Mid flight, each tendril split into a pair of snake heads that opened their moves as they surged forth, seeking to wrap around and grab hold of the beast. "I'll try and limit its movements!" He called out to the others. Just because he was excited didn't mean he was going to forget that he was, first and foremost, a supportive fighter.

Name of Spell: Hydra Hitching Elemental Type: Sap Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Restraining Range & Speed: 150m | 75m/s Mana Cost: 50 | 25 Stats Effected: -9 Control, -10 Speed, -20 Mana Regen Applicable Perks: Lockdown Description: On casting this spell, several sap tendrils will form around the user. At the user’s command these tendrils will launch towards their chosen target, splitting into two snake-like heads (reaching a possible combined area of 75 cubic meters) as they travel. Once close enough they will lunge at their target, wrapping around them and biting down. This does no damage, but will form a heavy binding of sap around the victim that reduces their Control stat by 9 points, their speed by 10m/s, and their mana regeneration by 20. Those bound by this spell will also have their casting limits per post cut in half. As per the usual ammo rules, multiple of the tendrils can be sent after one target or towards different targets if the user has a sufficiently high Control stat.
[attr="class","florencetext"] As the four mages entered the tunnel Lydia would listen as Rosa spoke about not liking leaving the others behind. The vice captain couldn't blame the women after all she didn't like running from a fight herself. I know how you feel but this is war now scarifies have to be made sometimes. As for the plan we keep heading forward find that bastard Dio kill him or die trying. After that we'll find a way to save the others. With that the glass mage would follow the only path they could take. As the magic knights were walking for an amount of time Lydia was unsure of her sensory we pick up the mana of Dio and whatever took over his body however she couldn't tell how far away. [break][break] After a little more walking Artemis would tell the group to stop before she looked up and to the vice captains surprise the create the elders told the four of them was right above them moving to attack as it managed to get close to them undetected. She didn't have much time to react but she would throw her glass sword at the tentacles going after the water mage and her light one at the tentacles heading for the ice mage. She would then block the one heading towards her with her arms. It was better to take the attack to her arms after all she could heal her arms if they broke. If the create managed to strike her heart however the vice captain would die before she could even getting the healing spell off. Luckily the attack managed to only knock her back a bit and take away half of her mana skin. The vice captain would then start her counter attack by using her control to make another light sword and glass spear before throwing both of them at the Chasm Crawler dealing grand damage each.

The sap mage and the light mage were...monstrous...Taking the attacks head on while at the same time moving to defend their peers was something that was to be commended. Whether it was bravery or just dumb bravado it did not matter much as the sap mage managed to momentarily restrain the creature, even for that moment as two of its attacks were deflected, and two hit their marks...the light mage attacked and struck the creature down as if it were nothing...the teamwork from this group was impeccable.
As the Chasm Crawler was felled it was dozing, its face looked pained and it bled where the spears struck its body. The creature was not going anywhere fast...if they wanted to try to use this creature they would need to heal with it and bond before moving on.
The creature is down...but not out. Its health must be restored with a [GRAND] Rank Healing Spell for it to recover, BUT if the creature is not bonded before it fully heals it will attack again.
2,000 Word Count needed maximum to bond with the creature, take as much time as you need to

An explosion shook the tunnel as the party moved through it, as the beauty turned to look back she bit her bottom lip to see their entrance sealed. It all depended on what was on the other side. What the fuck had they just gotten into. What the hell was she supposed to be able to do against an army like the one they just saw. And not only her. They were four. FOUR. Sure, the others definitely had a much more powerful magical essences than her own but that army of black tentacle monstrosities was too much for them as well. Mana reserves were a thing. And hers, while strong, could still run out with ease when it came down to war armies with that much strength and power. They had to be smart. [break][break] Rosalia’s mind was racing wildly as they walked through the low lit cave. She was careful not to slip as it was slimy and her heels weren’t meant for places like these. The others talked about attaining a Chasm Crawler, and it made her cock an eyebrow. It sounded like a plan, but to what end. What could a beastie like that do that would aid them in combat? A gust passed over her skin every once in a while, showing her that there was another exit, and that they had reason to continue. The gentleness of the air almost made her miss the outside world, the one with green trees, farms, magic and alcohol. God could she use a few bottles of the good stuff right now. [break][break] As she followed Artemis’gaze, her eyes went wide at the giant monster above their heads. It made a cold shiver run down her spine. Oh my fucking god. That this was almost the size of Azordesmon! Its large toothy maw looked like it would decimate her in one bite, and as its tentacles lurched forwards with speed that she couldn’t possibly react to in time, Lydia’s light magic blocked the attack for her, snapping the red-head into action mode. She mouthed a “Thanks” and got her grimoire ready…but The Golden Dawn blondie and the Vice Captain of the Lions were quicker than her, and clearly stronger as they took on the beast and managed to take it down before she could even open her mouth. [break][break] As the monster looked near death, it crumbled down low near them, bleeding. It’s features looked pained and it had a hard time moving. It’s glowing hues were eyeing them, but barely open. Shit. She knew the elders were friendly with these things and she didn’t think them to be evil... [break][break] “It’s not attacking us anymore! We don’t need to kill it…” Her expression softened momentarily. Her ruby eyes scanned over it nervously. It was unlike anything she’d ever seen before, and she felt very privileged to have the opportunity to get so close to it. Rosalia glanced over at her party before slowly moving over and crouching down in front of the beast. In front of its eyes so it could see her. She didn’t want to scare it. [break][break] “Hey big guy…you scared us…but I’m sure we scared you too…” Her voice dropped into a low soothing octave. Like she was talking to a child or trying to tempt somebody. She didn’t touch it…not yet. She just stood there and spoke as she held its gaze. The woman put down her grimoire in a slow gesture, to show that she didn’t mean it no harm before actually moving to place her hand on the scaly exterior of its maw. If it wanted to kill her, it would have no hard time biting her arm off. [break][break] “We’re sorry we panicked…and hurt you…and you probably can’t understand a word I’m saying but gosh you’re magnificent.” Her inner closet nerd peaked out as she spoke, knowing full well that she’d spend hours talking to Malcolm about the Chasm Crawler if she survived. Her voice softly turned to the members of her party… [break][break] “G-guys…can we maybe…save this thing?” [break][break]
[attr=class, cyrustext]Fortunately for the party, it would seem that they had managed to subdue the beast for the moment with relatively little trouble, putting the initial ambush aside. Still, the fact that the creature was still alive after taking two of Lydia's spells directly was quite impressive; no doubt this sort of toughness was a large part of why the Elders had been so insistent on acquiring their aid.
Rosalia approached the fallen beast after he and Lydia weakened it, pleading for them to stop their onslaught. Cyrus had no intention of killing the creature, given what they had been told, but they had no knowledge of just how much damage these creatures could take or how likely they were to fight back while injured. Still, he kept his spell going for the moment as the Black Bulls wizard spoke to the beast in a soothing voice, not unlike that a person speaking to a pet in hiding. Despite her clear wariness of the beast it was just as evident that she was excited to get a chance to be so close to it as well; Cyrus could concur. After seeing the picture he had been eager to see one of these creatures in person himself, and now that it wasn't attacking for the moment he was equally fascinated.
Rosalia asked if they could possibly save it, and after a moment, Cyrus glanced at Lydia. "I agree with Rosalia." He said, taking a moment to release the binding spell placed on the Chasm Crawler in an effort to show that he meant it no further harm. "We were advised to enlist these creatures, after all. And speaking as someone who just took a hit, I can definitely see why. Besides, it isn't as though we have any better options at the moment, am I wrong?"
He put his grimoire away, crouching down beside the injured animal to get a good look at it... as well as to put himself between it and the others in case it was not finished fighting.

[attr="class, cyrusstats] Combat Notes Released Hydra Hitching spell
It took little time for the creature to attack, and it took even less time for Lydia to respond in kind. The woman was strong, as she was fast. Artemis found herself smiling at Lydia’s protectiveness over her, before asking softly, “Are you alright, Lydia?” Her partner had taken a hit, after all, and even though she knew that Lydia was strong, stronger than most Magic Knights, a hit was a hit. It concerned her, a feeling that she had only for those she considered close, and loved. Artemis gave the woman a kiss on the lips, a chaste one. It expressed both her love and gratitude for the woman's protectiveness of her. [break][break]
After making sure that Lydia was not badly hurt, Artemis would walk towards the creature.[break][break] “The Chasm Crawler.”[break][break]
It reminded Artemis of her golems. No, in fact, her golems were a product of her imagining beasts such as the Chasm Crawler. It was a creature of the deep, a mythological being that is only talked about in stories. There was nothing about it existing outside of those. And so, to see one up close was an honour.[break][break]
She heard Rosalia’s and Cyrus’ comments. Truly, Rosalia seemed to already be bonding with the creature. Artemis herself would come up to the Chasm Crawler, and hover her hand over the beast’s body. She felt its magic, its life force, its mana. It might be that the creature was already latching itself onto Rosalia’s own, bonding with the woman. No matter. Artemis just wanted to feel the creature’s mana, and to test hers out with the creatures’ own. Her affinity with water was something she shared with the beast, after all. It was a sea creature, its home was Artemis’ sworn element.[break][break]
The beast was weak, and getting weaker. Artemis would close her eyes, coaxing the mana of the beast to pulse and keep giving life to the creature as Lydia was already starting her spell to heal it. She knew that Cyrus was closeby, ready to help if needed. The Golden Dawn Magic Knight was a good one, a quick thinker, and also a spirit user. It was good that he was a part of their team. Artemis hoped that with Rosalia’s approach, her own actions, as well as Lydia’s healing spell, that the beast would bond and help them in their need.[break][break]
[attr="class","florencetext"] It seemed the fight was over just as quick as it started. The crawler was still alive which surprised the vice captain but it was also a good thing. After all the three elders told the four magic knights that they needed to tame one and it would have been a huge set back if Lydia had killed it. Not that she would have regretted it after all protected the ones she loved was very important to the glass mage. As Artemis asked if she was okay the pink haired mage would give her a smile however before she could answer the question Lydia would find herself lip locked with the water mage for moment. I'm fine my arms are just a little sore but my mana skin protected me. As the others walked towards the mana beast the vice captain would call back back her spells letting the glass spear vanish before casting a new spell to heal both her and Cyrus along with the crawler. Halayudha This was perhaps one of her best spells as it not only allowed her to heal others but also give them the option to use a spell that matched her power. [break][break] As the first sword appeared in her hands she would use her control to make two more swords. She would then hand one of to the golden dawn mage. Take this it will heal you and you can attack with it if needed. The vice captain would then let last sword float over to the crawler setting the handle of the sword on the creature to heal it. Lydia wasn't sure if it would be enough to save it but the spell was a start and it was better than nothing. She would then use her free hand to take along of Artemis giving the women a soft smile.
