The great water spirit...Undine...finally released upon the world, free from the metaphorical and, while in a different sense, physical chains that bound her to the prison...to Atlantis. She swore to serve the king and the people of Atlantis all that time ago, but she never forgot what she saw when that...THING took its slimy tendrils and pillaged the very place she called home. The king saw it as an act of kindness to shield her from the clutches of the Calamity...from whatever old evil that had taken hold of the citizens Undine had to watch...millions died under her gaze, some she knew well. The girl that prayed to her every day, the little boy whom she helped save when he was in the wrong...the workers that built her temple...the royals that all worshiped her. She wept all this time until finally...she was released. The power that she felt was the same as when Atlantis fell, but there was an immense pressure she also recognized...The king himself was in the courtyard and fighting off the twisted creations that The Calamity had created using the husks of the departed. However, just after releasing a great wave of water mana, destroying many of the sunken in the courtyard in one go the king pointed to the throne room.
”GO! I WILL FINISH WHAT I STARTED...THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP...THE HEROES THERE WILL HELP YOU WITH THE CALAMITY! He said as a sunken caught them both off guard, hiding amongst the bodies as it stabbed the king in his left shoulder, the king’s eyes went wide, but he did not stutter or miss a step as he brought his foot down and squashed the sunken’s head underneath his heel. He looked at Undine once more, the great water spirit flew off towards the throne room.
Inside the throne room the Calamity had finally taken what it desired...using Dio’s corrupted body to add to its own power the old being finally realized its true form (a fully realized version of the pic you saw before) as it felt the palace rumble. Atlantis was rising after all...its plan was a success. “YOU FOOLS ACTUALLY DID IT!!! GOOD I WILL WAIT TILL WE REACH THE SURFACE TO KILL YOU! WAIT UP THERE FOR ALL I CARE!” It continued to laugh as Undine found what it needed. A water mage with significant strength and the mind of someone...pure. It reached out with its mana and created an instantaneous space where Artemis would go into a daze… Face to face with the great spirit Undine it asked the Green Mantis mage.
”So...you are the one that I can help with defeating that wretched thing in the throne room...So be it, I will allow you my power until we reach the surface...come...Touch my hand and become one with me.”
Undine commanded Artemis, and if she followed in with it then a miracle would happen. The party would feel refreshed and healed of most all injury...except the curses they received in the prior fight. Artemis...would look unlike any had ever seen.
Beneath them the Calamity would recognize the power and immediately launch an attack, 10 of its tentacles would move out at a speed of 60 m/s and strike the room randomly, with one grabbing Cyrus through the broken hole in the floor and it would automatically drag him out of the room. After the initial attack, the final battle...begins.
Alright, Undine has given Artemis [FULL SPIRIT DIVE] For the next encounter, and the rest of the party receives a [GRAND] Water armor spell that resembles the Valkyrie Armor from Noelle. Undine does not 100% trust you, but you are a means to an end...so for now an understanding will be reached.
Each of you must roll a 1d20 to see if you are hit for [Senior] Rank damage. Even numbers=safe, odd numbers=hit

Artemis looked towards the Great Spirit Undine. Her majesty, made of its pure element, would inspire awe for those who are her allies, and fear for those who she deems as her enemies. The Green Mantis Magic Knight could only watch as Undine looked upon them, judging them. Her gaze lasted only for a second as she took in the situation at hand.[break][break]
Then, mana. [break][break]
Artemis could feel her own mana reaching towards Undine, as the Great Spirit reached her own mana towards hers. She felt the Great Spirit’s power latching onto her own. Pure. Unadulterated. Water was always an element that was meant for people who had control. Strength through discipline. Power through poise.[break][break]
A built-up of mana.[break][break]
A merge. Artemis felt Undine’s mana not only connect with her own, but it weaved itself into a tapestry of power. It felt exhilarating. Intoxicating. The Great Spirit’s mana invigorated her tired muscles and bones. An energy unlike anything she had encountered before, feeding her own mana, making her stronger. She knew at this point that the Great Spirit’s own power was being lent, for now, for this fight. [break][break]
She would not waste the opportunity.[break][break]
“Thank you for trusting in us, even if it was only for this small moment.” Artemis would say, with Undine already merged within her. Her appearance would be different now. More ethereal. A vessel for the Great Spirit, for an immense elemental power. “With your power, we will defeat this Calamity. We will save Atlantis. We will free it’s people and give them a better life; a new life.” The conviction was in her voice. She meant everything she said. “I give you my word, both as a Magic Knight, and as a Water Element mage.” [break][break]
With her new form, Artemis would turn towards the Calamity. It had appeared now, lashing out at them. Artemis found herself the recipient of one of its attacks, though she did not budge. The damage would be healed by Lydia’s sword, which she held by her side.[break][break]
The once white-blonde haired Magic Knight now grew a few inches taller. Her whole outfit turned into water, free flowing now as it seemed to wash towards the floor, and then move back up; a constant push and pull reminiscent of the sea. Her skin turned slightly blue, the colour of sea foam. Hair now as white as the ocean's crest, a crown of white corals would float just behind her head. Artemis would look like the Ocean and Sea personified, an ethereal presence contrasted with the Calamity’s own corrupted being. [break][break]
“Poseidon’s Wrath. Scylla.”[break][break]
Her voice was different as well. It was more hollow, a mixture of both her own voice and Lady Undine’s. [break][break]
As her Grimoire summoned the spells, they were immediately sent towards the Calamity itself. It would try to evade Cyrus, who seemed to be up close. Artemis was sure that the young man could handle himself well enough. [break][break] “Calamity, I send you back to the abyss!”[break][break]
[break][break] TL;DR Artemis is in Full Spirit Dive. With the combined power of herself and Undine, she would send two of her Scylla swords and two Poseidon's Wrath waves towards the Calamity. Note: Artemis has Intimidating Aura Perk which causes Dio's stats to be lowered by -5. [break][break] Spells Used:
Name of Spell: Poseidon's Wrath[break] Elemental Type: Water[break] Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Attack Creation & Sensory (Illusion)[break] Range & Speed: 150 meters | 85 m/s | 110 m AOE [break] Mana Cost: 50 | 25[break] Stats Effected: +12 Power, Blinds, -12 Sensory[break] Applicable Perks: Area of Triumph, Battle Knight, Master Illusionist, Quick Shot, Apex Predator[break] Description: Artemis calls upon the inner rage of the ocean and sea using her grimoire. Amassing a huge amount of conjured water, the spell itself is a huge tsunami like wave that Artemis can control through her mana. The huge amount of water takes the form of water horses, which visually charges towards Artemis' opponents. The spell itself is coated with an illusion, which masks it from the following senses of her opponents: sight, sound, smell, and mana. At first hit, those hit by Poseidon's Wrath are blinded. The blind effect only happens once per opponent. Artemis is able to create more than one Poseidon's Wrath based on her control, while it follows ammo rule on damage. The spell also follows ammo rule on avoiding allies. Those within the area of effect will have their sensory debuffed following debuff rules.[break]
Name of Spell: Scylla[break] Elemental Type: Water[break] Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Attack Creation & Sensory (Illusion)[break] Range & Speed: 150 meters | 85 m/s | 110 m AOE[break] Mana Cost: 50 | 25[break] Stats Effected: Power +12, Blinds, -12 Sensory[break] Applicable Perks: Area of Triumph, Battle Knight, Master Illusionist, Quick Shot, Apex Predator[break] Description: Scylla is a spell that conjures and manipulates water, turning them into swords that surround Artemis. The swords are very sharp, and are very deadly. Through ammo rules, Artemis usually creates more than one, with the limit based on the amount of control she has. While she can use the swords in a physical fight, she oftentimes manipulates the swords with her mana, using it to fight enemies from afar. If she chooses to, Artemis can make a sword explode in a shower of pin-sized needles, causing an AOE effect. At first hit, opponents are blinded by the water that hits their eyes. The blind effect only happens once per opponent. Scylla is coated with an illusion, making them very hard to see, hear, and smell, and sense with mana. Finally, they are able to home in on their intended target because of the user's Sensory. Those hit by the spell will also have their sensory debuffed, following on debuff rules.[break]
[attr=class, cyrustext]"She's coming." Hama said as the turning of the dials triggered the release of the great Water Spirit, Undine. The instant it happened the sap spirit could sense her fellow elemental, and within moments the power was rushing their way like a wild river.
Cyrus looked at her, and then towards where she was looking. Without any sort of Sensory abilities he could not sense the tremendous mana that was approaching... but even still, there was a definite sensation of power that he could feel. It was hard to explain; like the air itself was charged. But as they awaited Undine's arrival, a voice bellowed from beneath their feet. It would seem that Dio... no, the Calamity, alone now, was rather pleased with their decision to surface the underwater kingdom. He told them that their deaths would come soon enough... and that was when she arrived, landing in front of Artemis.
Undine spoke, and Cyrus watched as she offered an alliance of sorts with the group. Well, it hardly seemed like an alliance; more like an order, from how she presented the suggestion. The two joined hands, and like a great wave he felt a soothing sensation wash over him. It seemed as though Undine had also saw fit to heal their wounds, though he noticed the injury Lydia had received had not fully healed. Artemis stood there, clad in a flowing dress that seemed to be made of pure water. Cyrus and Hama's eyes both widened, recognizing what this was from their own training, though they had yet to develop the ability themselves.
"Spirit Dive... a Full Spirit Dive." Hama muttered, the sap wizard nodding in confirmation. In spite of the great help this would undoubtedly provide, the secondary spirit grit her teeth in frustration. Such incredible power came so easily to the "main" spirits, like it was nothing. Were they not in the middle of a fight for their lives, she might have screamed.
Before more could be said or thought, however, a barrage of tendrils blasted into the room, stabbing and swinging randomly. It seemed as though the Calamity had realized who had just arrived and was not happy about it. A tentacle stabbed up through the ground near Cyrus, who stepped back to put some distance between him and it... only for a second to suddenly shoot up through the hole in the ground, wrapping around him and dragging the young man back into the throne room they had been delivered from. "Cyrus?!" Hama cried out in concern, diving into her partner's grimoire so that she wasn't left behind.
As he was pulled the tendril squeezed, shattering the Syrup Shroud he had cast on himself and even managing to inflict an impressive amount of damage to Undine's own protective ward. He groaned in pain, struggling to break free, but to no avail; Cyrus was many things, but physically strong was not one of them. He opened his eyes as he felt the rushing air around him slow to a stop, and found himself face to face with the one who commanded his capture. The presence the Calamity gave of was different now... complete, he felt. Cyrus glared at him, but took a deep breath in an effort to calm himself. His eyes reopened as he sensed the approaching Ki of Artemis, leading the others into the fray as her magic was amplified by Undine's power. She launched a pair of spells at the monstrosity, the magic weaving its way around the Golden Dawn mage.
He concentrated, calling upon the magic of his grimoire. "I'd really appreciate it if you let me go," Cyrus said, voice a bit strained by the pressure around him but a taunting grin on his face as he lifted up the sword Lydia had given him. "I've got a lot of work to do after this is all over!"
With those words he summoned a quartet of golems as he stabbed into the tentacle restraining him with the blade; a pair of his Heliades, and a pair of his Odur golems. As they were summoned the first of the Odur raised its shining blade and slashed down, attempting to sever the limb holding their master. If it succeeded, Cyrus would be caught by the same warrior before he hit the ground. "Don't let up!" Cyrus commanded his soldiers, the remaining golems joining their companions in pressing the attack against the Calamity. Cyrus was right in the crossfire, but he didn't care. It was also his blessing to the others; he would be fine, so they should go all out.
Still, he wasn't so reliant on his golems that he had no other options. Following their attack, four large stars formed over Cyrus' head as he cast his Falling Star spell, before shooting towards the Calamity. Regardless of if they hit or not, the four stars would explode into a ripping hail of star-shaped shrapnel, which his golems easily ignored and would not affect his companions thanks to his Syrup Shroud's protection.

[attr="class, cyrusstats] Combat Notes Syrup Shroud on Cyrus destroyed, Undine's Grand defense spell took senior damage
Stabbed Calamity with Lydia's spell
Summoned two Heliades and two Odur, commanding all four to attack the Calamity
Name of Spell: Falling Star Elemental Type: Sap Rank & Spell Type: Senior | Attack Creation Range & Speed: 80m | 40m/s | 70m AoE Mana Cost: 30 | 15 Stats Effected: +9 Power Applicable Perks: Apex Predator, Battle Knight, Area of Triumph Description: A simple yet powerful spell, embracing practicality and results. Reflective of Cyrus' desire to prove himself within the Magic Knights, he can use it to create a star-shaped mass of amber as large as 40 cubic meters (though he can also form it in a smaller shape for when such size is impractical). Once the desired size, Cyrus shoots the star from its position above him in the direction of his target, spinning like a massive shuriken or discus for cutting and impact damage. On casting this spell, he receives a +9 buff to his Power stat (thanks to Battle Knight). When Falling Star makes contact with an enemy or object, or simply reaches the end of its range, its behavoir is determined by Cyrus; it can either dissipate then and there, or it can explode into a hail of shrapnel made of smaller stars that will cut those within a 70 meter area (thanks to Area of Triumph). Repeated successful castings of this spell will also provide Cyrus with a +3 buff to his Power stat, up to 5 times for a maximum possible buff of +15 thanks to Apex Predator.
Name of Spell: Odur Spell Element: Sap Spell Rank: Grand Mana Cost: 50 | 25 Type of Golem: Balanced Applicable Perks: Puppet Master, Armament Description: One of the most powerful forms of golems within Cyrus' sizable arsenal of minions, the Odur is capable of reaching heights of up to 12 meters tall should their creator so desire, and cut an appropriately striking figure. Visually, they resemble powerful armor-clad warriors armed with both a kite shield and a brilliant sword. They constantly give off an amber-colored glow, as though their form alone cannot fully contain their power. In addition to being quite sturdy, they are also surprisingly agile, which makes for a versatile warrior. As a Grand tier golem, they can carry up to five passengers at their base speed of 24 m/s, with a maximum possible speed of 40 m/s. Only two may be summoned at a time.
Name of Spell: Heliades Spell Element: Sap Spell Rank: Grand Mana Cost: 50 | 25 Type of Golem: Predator Applicable Perks: Puppet Master, Armament Description: Bearing the likeness of winged, armored warriors, the Heliades golem can reach heights of up to 8 meters and carry as many as 5 passengers at their base speed of 36m/s, with a maximum speed of 40 m/s. With their ornate, noble appearance they bring to mind the image of warrior angels or valkyries, flying at high speeds to attack and evade their opponents with the use of their hammer-like weapons and bladed wings. With their creation, Cyrus wanted to create warriors that would give civilians and allies something to look upon with hope, while still imposing to any enemies he may face. Only two may be summoned at once.
[attr="class","florencetext"] It seemed the plan to release the water spirit worked at least as far as Lydia could tell. After all a strong mana presnce was heading towards them one that wasn't the calamity. It didn't take long for the main water spirit to reach the group giving her help to the four magic knights. Lydia would watch as Artemis and the spirit bonded at least for now. She wouldn't commit on the water mages new look they had other problems to deal with. However it seemed the green mantis mage wasn't the only to get Undine's aid as the spirit cast a water spell on the rest of them. The calamity would then speak up saying he'd wait till they reached the surface to kill the four magic knights. [break][break] The glass mage didn't plan on dying here let alone letting it survive till they reached the surface. As tentacles broke into the room Lydia was able to dodge them thanks to her speed however the golden dawn mage didn't seem to be as lucky getting pulled back into the throne room. The pink haired mage wasn't one to abandon a teammate and a person she viewed as a friend. I'm heading down bellow. With that Lydia would take of running towards the entrance the took to reach the control room. Her speed could only held her so much when they attacks were so random and one managed to hit her in the back. Luckily the water spirits spell blocked the damage but wasn't looking to good afterwards. The glass manged would then jump out of the room rolling to her feet fixing her gaze on the sap mage and calamity. Cyrus' spell managed to keep Lydia safe from his own attack. [break][break] She would then run towards the two while casting a spell. Light Magic: Balmung As the first light sword appeared in her hand the vice captain would use her control to make four more. She would send the first one at the tentacle holding the blonde mage in hopes of freeing him. She would then send one at the calamity's legs before sending two more at both it's sides to avoid Cyrus. Lydia would then get in close and try to stab the calamity with both the light and glass swords in her hands.

Rosalia was surprised at the beauty of the water spirit. It had been the most powerful spirit she’d ever met and she’d seen quite a few prior. The presence of mana that swirled around the room was astounding, and surprisingly similar to the way Artemis ’magic felt. The essence of water…She could turn to look at the king in the courtyard, surprised and pleased at his survival as his voice reached them. The beauty had considered him a goner. Hopefully, he could outlive this as well. [break][break] The earthshattering voice of the Calamity, however, shook her back into reality. It was pleased by their decision to raise the city above water and as worrisome as that was, the sudden mana that took over the party’s bodies and seemed to shield them confused her more. That spirit that they had released clearly wanted to aid them. Rosalia shook her head before glancing at Artemis’ due to the sudden power spike so close to her. The ice witch blinked and her jaw dropped to the ground at the change of appearance. What the hell was that? She’d never seen anything like it. It was…gorgeous in a way pure magic was- awe-inspiring. When the Green Mantis spoke, her voice was deeper, as if two had combined and spoke through one. It was something that the beauty would be curious to ask about later. Her inner closet nerd wanted to burst out and scream right then and there. Had she not seen Cyrus get dragged through the hole in the ground by a giant tentacle. [break][break] “Oh you’ve gotta be fucking kidding me!” She growled as she barely dodged away from another tentacle that broke through the ground underneath her, missing her by a centimeter. Rosalia glanced over at Lydia as Artemis dove down to attack the Calamity and readied her grimoire, flipping over the pages. She ran her fingers through her hair, inhaled, as she let her mana take hold of her mind and body, cooling her down, before exhaling and diving back after the others to aid in the fight. [break][break] She could see Cyrus now, it seemed that he was fighting off the tentacle that had grappled him with his own golems and the help of Lydia. Her hand went down to her Frostbite whip and she swung it around as a preliminary attack at any tentacles going for her before targeting the same ones with a “Winter’s Kiss” spell. She kept her free hand on her second whip, just in case. [break][break] Her mana supplies were getting low, she could feel it. This fight and progress of events was exhausting her in a way nothing before had managed to…well, except maybe Malcolm. If she kept going, her vision was going to start getting a bit blurry. The moves were made, the chess pieces were at their final positions, it was time for the final battle to take place. As Cyrus is attacked, The Calamity laughs as it launches an attack at the control room. Feeling the life drain from the newly strengthened Golden Dawn the Calamity brought him face to face as its eyes narrowed to small slits inside of that mask as Cyrus spoke up in a taunting tone, it even made the being smirk from beneath its mask. It was then that it saw the blades that Lydia had summoned, forgetting that Cyrus was there for a moment and while it moved to deflect the incoming light attack, it was too slow on its upkeep as Cyrus cut himself free and summoned his sap golems. That tentacles then lashed out however and broke that sword that was summoned against it, all but one were destroyed as the Golems and combined attacks from the mages rained upon it, their overwhelming power was significant and awe inspiring. Rosalia was taking it upon herself to rid the control room of tentacles as the full spirit dive Artemis was going to bring the fight to the Calamity.
The beast roared as it attacked as well. The clash of spells versus magical physical attacks were enough to hinder the calamity as its eyes were wide and its mask now cracked…but it was still up. And it took off at a speed of 45 m/s towards the control room where the last mage was...it needed more power…
You are almost there, after the exchange of blows it appears that the calamity has decided to go after the one mage left inside the control room.
[attr=class, cyrustext]Cyrus hears the Calamity laugh after launching its surprise attack before he was dragged before the entity, looking the monster face to face as it seemed to relish his pain. Though the mask of their foe concealed whatever sort of face it might have, if it had one at all, he could almost feel it glaring at him from those dark eye holes. Whatever expression it might have been making probably changed after that though, as Cyrus managed to use Lydia's sword to free himself from the tentacle binding him. The Calamity had tried to stop him, but luckily all it had managed to do was break the sword itself, leaving the young man free to fall into his golem's hand.
Not moments after he was released did the barrage of spells from both himself and his companions strike the foul beast, and it seemed that all but a single of the Calamity's tentacles set upon its form. It roared in what Cyrus could only imagine was a mixture of pain, frustration, anger, and hatred as it retaliated, its own formidable attacks clashing with the mages'. But as Cyrus moved to the shoulder of one of his Heliades golems he got the sense that their attacks were definitely having an effect; the mask it wore was cracked, and it definitely seemed to be a bit slower to respond.
Not slow enough, however, to simply allow itself to be killed. In fact it managed to move itself, not just its tendrils, rushing past the rest of the party and attempting to make its way to the control room where Rosa still was. "Odur, dispell!" Cyrus ordered, and two of his soldiers melted away into nothing. He could only maintain two Grand tier spells at once, after all. His book flipped to a familiar page that he was becoming quite familiar with on this adventure. "Hydra Hitching!" He called out as he summoned those same tendrils as before, the bindings lashing out towards the Calamity as they split into two snakes each, seeking to grab and bite down on their mighty foe to slow him down.
He gave a silent command to both of his remaining golems to pursue the Calamity, attacking if they were able to get close enough. They flew as fast as they could, and from what he could tell of their target's speed, his Hydra Hitching could potentially slow it down just enough for them to catch up to it. Their bladed wings spread and their hammers raised as they moved to attack.

Name of Spell: Hydra Hitching Elemental Type: Sap Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Restraining Range & Speed: 150m | 75m/s Mana Cost: 50 | 25 Stats Effected: -9 Control, -10 Speed, -20 Mana Regen Applicable Perks: Lockdown Description: On casting this spell, several sap tendrils will form around the user. At the user’s command these tendrils will launch towards their chosen target, splitting into two snake-like heads (reaching a possible combined area of 75 cubic meters) as they travel. Once close enough they will lunge at their target, wrapping around them and biting down. This does no damage, but will form a heavy binding of sap around the victim that reduces their Control stat by 9 points, their speed by 10m/s, and their mana regeneration by 20. Those bound by this spell will also have their casting limits per post cut in half. As per the usual ammo rules, multiple of the tendrils can be sent after one target or towards different targets if the user has a sufficiently high Control stat.
Artemis would feel Undine’s presence within her. It was an odd feeling, sharing one body and mind, and most intricately, their mana intertwined. [break][break]
But in all ways, it was also comforting. The power of the ocean and the sea surged within her. She knew that her physical form had changed to that of something different. Lady Undine had told her as much when she had forced their Full Spirit Dive. It was that of a trueborn Lady of the Seas. A physical manifestation of the Ocean and Sea. [break][break]
As her attacks found their mark, Artemis would watch the newly manifested creature that had once possessed Dio take it in stride. In fact, instead of staggering, the creature would rise up to the challenge. Artemis knew that it had been injured. The cracked mask was a clear indication that the creature did not come out unscathed. Yet, it was still fighting, shrugging off their attacks like it was nothing.[break][break]
“What in the…” Artemis would whisper to herself as the creature would, instead of regrouping and restrategizing, launched itself up and towards the control room. Artemis herself would be caught by surprise, before she herself launched into action.[break][break]
The Scylla swords that had pierced the creature would return to her hand. While one of them would be floating behind her, the other would be gripped by her left. Her right hand would continue to hold onto Lydia’s sword. [break][break]
“The abyss, that is where you belong!” Artemis would announce, before chasing after the Calamity. While she would not be able to make the distance in terms of pure speed, she just wanted to get close enough to send her own spells and not have them travel too far. Lowering the chances that her spells would be unable to catch up to the Calamity and falling short. She would also notice that the Golden Dawn Magic Knight was making his move, which would hopefully slow down the Calamity's advance.[break][break]
When she was close enough, Artemis would send both of her swords towards the Calamity, at the speed of the spell itself, which should be enough to catch up to the Calamity, and deal damage it unblocked. Her grimoire, as well, would glow menacingly, before she cast her next spell.[break][break] “Poseidon’s Wrath!”[break][break]
Two waves of galloping water horses would charge towards the Calamity’s position. It would try to outpace the creature with its faster spell speed, hoping to catch him and deal utmost damage before it could even get too close to Rosalia.[break][break]
If Artemis is able to get closer, she would attempt to stab the Calamity with Lydia’s glass sword, hopefully dealing a mortal blow. [break][break]
[attr="class","florencetext"]Lydia would watch as most of her light swords got destroyed but it didn't matter as the swords did there first part of making the calamity lose focus long enough for the golden dawn mage to break free. Of course one of her light swords still managed to harm the calamity so in the end her whole plan had worked out. It was just only one of the four she launched has survived which was no big deal in the long run. The glass mage would watch as the onslaught of spells hit the creature well most of them anyway. The vice captain was expecting the mana beast to die after all she had never met anything that could survive this many high ranked attacks at once. However it seemed the calamity had in fact survived the spells and while it was looking damaged at least the mask it was wearing anyway it was still alive. Seeing as she was still right next to the beast she was getting ready to stab with her swords again. [break][break] However before the pink haired mage was able to the calamity would take of running towards the control room and more importantly the black bull mage. It was clear it was planning something and perhaps it was on it's last leg. Regardless of what the creature had planned Lydia wasn't going to let it achieve them. She would take off after the calamity catching up to it without a problem hell the vice captain could have even passed it with her speed not that it was needed. Your pretty fast two bad I don't plan on letting you get away. Lydia would use her control to make a glass sword to replace the one Cyrus lost before making another three light swords to replace them as well. She would then send all her two glass swords she had with her at the calamity before following up with her five light swords. She hoped that her spells along with the others was enough to finish the fight and saved Atlantis and the world as a whole.

Rosalia was clearly in a predicament. To remain in the control room in rid it of the tentacles, or to dive back down into the chamber where the fight was taking place… she could feel it, the different mana signatures flaring up is Lydia or Artemis or Cyrus use the spell… She could hear muffled words and shouts of determination from her allies as they did their best to wreak havoc upon the Calamity.
Her attacks seem to drive back some of the tentacles that had broken through into the control room but she could not see those headed her way... She could feel Lydia’s magic once more, flare up close to her. Too close. The sound of crashing and he oozing movement filled the ears of the beauty as she peaked down through the holes to take a look at what was going on with the rest of her party.
Cyrus had broken free, while Artemis was slamming the Calamity at full force with her new found sprint dive magic. It was admirable to watch alongside Lydia who is just slicing through tentacles left and right. considering the proximity in the direction of those tentacles… I Rosalia shot Lydia a thankful smile before focusing on the task at hand.
The beauty raised her Frostbite whips once more and followed her allies suit and attacking the monster that wanted to take over both their kingdom, and the one of all that it had spent so many years haunting. She swung twice cracking her whip at the creepy figure at the throne aiming directly for its mask. Her mana had almost ran out, And she winced as she landed on the ground not too far from Cyrus. There was only so much more she could take.
“ One more time,” the beauty huffed under her breath, “Winter’s Kiss.”
A large cone of sharp icicles and ice magic left her lips in the form of a breath, spraying forwards towards the Calamity as she tried attacking its side.

It was too late, as the attacks all were dealt with and it tried to desperately get to the control room where it could have regained its energy and just bide its time...that fucking red cloaked human...that monster met with the Calamity. The combined might of these four mages, was something it was truly not prepared for...it has miscalculated...or did Dio? THAT CHEATING!!!!” There was nothing more it was able to say as the spells hit it, even with its formidable power and skills...it was unable to over power all the swords, the wrath of Undine...the touch of winter...and the golems attacks...it was too much as the Calamity that had held on to Atlantis for so long had finally been obliterated right before their eyes in a great explosion of pure mana.
The explosion would send everything within a 500 meter radius flying for a moment as the castle barely withstood the attack. But when the light faded and the sound was just a dull ringing in everyone's ears, but after a few minutes all would die out as the first thing the party would see would not only be fresh sunlight cast upon the floor of the throne room...but the sounds of seagulls and the waves of the world they thought they might never make it back to. It was over...The water crashed against this new island in the ocean outside Raque.
The Water Grand Magic one, with the undersea temple and all the people that lived near there had a new structure to visit as the new peninsula seemed to just float above them, yet sunlight still flowed like normal...a magical sight to behold indeed. Chasm Crawlers spread out into the sea, staying near the newly risen Atlantis as it was their home.
Tskumi, Kariko, and Junn have finally gathered at the courtyard, the sunken all became withered husks that then disappeared with the purea aura explosion from earlier. Their souls were finally free. The three elders looked up at the keep as a lone figure stood there heaving...his breath was ragged, and he did not look any better. Yet he beckoned the three elder’s forward, introducing himself as the former king of Atlantis, he would smile and look upon his children...they all bowed...all 12,456...the Atlanteans that were left after the subjugation of the Calamity. Tskumi relinquished his stake after he found out Kariko and Junn had become an item and as such the king crowned them the new rulers. However, he did give Tskumi a prize...one of his greatswords. The barbaric looking Atlantean elder smiled before revealing he was going to leave Atlantis and search the world for others like them...and help them as best as he could. The king took Kariko and Junn to the keep as the Atlanteans began to celebrate. Vessels from Raque and the Water Grand Magic Zone, including the king’s envoy...showed up at their port and began to flood the streets...the first humans to set foot in Atlantis other than the party, and Tskumi was the person they first talked to.
The king would lead the new rulers into the throne room, hoping to see the awoken party members. His face was shining in the sun, his body...was torn, bloody, and on the verge of death. If offered treatment he would kindly refuse with a smile before introducing the party to the new king and queen. Passing each of the rulers a grimoire...Pure Aura Grimoires of the former rulers...the moment that Kariko and Junn accepted them, the memories of several lifetimes flooded their brains...they would become enlightened, and know all the secrets of Atlantis, as well as the sigils from the control room would float before them. The king would bow to them all before finally looking up to the sky and smiling as his body began to age rapidly before them...not in a grotesque way, but it was peaceful. The former king would look to them all and smile. ”Thank you all...the souls that I have wronged have finally been allotted their resting place and my people...will now see a place far greater than when I last laid my eyes upon it. Please forgive me for all the issues that I have caused...the deaths...the destruction…” He began to weep as he smiled. His body began to fade into dust as the wind blew. ”Please take care of this place...A parting gift for you heroes…” Te thrones moved aside as a vault was opened up. ”Kariko, Junn...use these treasures to raise funds to raise our humble kingdom back to what it once was, and be mindful that it does not fall into the wrong hands. To our heroes...please take 6 items...they will be of great help to you in life I am sure...This is it. I can feel that embrace…” He finishes as the final bit of his soul is released as he fades with the wind, leaving behind his sword and a few other pieces of gear he was wearing...right next to the Calamity’s mask.
Undine split from Artemis’s body and looked at her with a great sorrowful expression at what she just witnessed. After a moment she turned away to the new rulers Kariko and Junn...there was talk for a moment in a language that none of them would understand...before Undine looked back at the party...finally sighing before going to Artemis and holding out her hand. Offering another chance to speak with her.
After the group takes their items, they would then be ushered and seen off by Tskumi as they left with the king’s envoy. He would ask for a report, and once given he would hand each of them a scroll. Their notable achievements to the kingdom of Clover have been noted and they will receive ample rewards.
That is it...you all did it, Atlantis is risen, and Undine was freed. The king has made his peace and life...carries on. A new king and queen of the water surrounded nation have been made and trade negotiations have been started...all thanks to you.
[attr=class, cyrustext]Their attacks flew; with purpose and intent, they soared through the air towards the Calamity as it desperately raced away in an effort to save himself and regain his power. But for one reason or another, he had underestimated their combined might. The power of Artemis and her connection to Undine, the speed of Lydia as she outpaced his escape, and Rosalia's determination to meet the threat he posed head on. The four of them attacked, perhaps not as one, but certainly with the same aim in mind.
And they succeeded.
The water of Artemis and the main spirit drenched the Calamity, Lydia's blades of light and glass pierced his hide, Rosalia's ice chilled it to the core, and his own golems crushed it with all their might. Their opponent screeched out in pain and fury, having the audacity to claim that THEY were cheaters. To this Cyrus could only glare at the monstrosity. A creature who used a person's skin as armor was referring to them as unfair? It was almost laughable, if it weren't so disgusting. He looked over at Rosalia where she had landed beside him and offered her a hand to help her up... only for the Calamity to finally perish in an awe-inspiring explosion of pure mana.
The detonation rocked the whole of Atlantis, sending Cyrus to the ground. It was as if the world disappeared in the flash of light; he couldn't see, his felt numb, and all he heard was a distant ringing. But as he laid there that changed. He felt something familiar, that it seemed as though it had been ages since last he had experienced; the sun. And as his ears adjusted, he could also make out the call of seagulls and waves crashing into themselves. He sat up, staring around them.
Cyrus rushed over to the entrance to the chamber, stumbling a bit in his excitement after being knocked off his feet but managing to make the journey. What he saw there took his breath away; they had done it. Atlantis had risen, and the Calamity was no more. What was once a secret kingdom hidden in the cavernous underground was now a beautiful island. The sun's shining rays breathed new life into the once underwater world, truly giving them a chance to admire its beauty. Towards the edge of the island he could see the Chasm Crawlers diving into the warm ocean. He couldn't help the massive grin that overtook his face, or the laugh that escaped him afterwards.
"We did it!" He said, looking back at the others excitedly. It was an obvious observation; they had all been there as well. But after what felt like an eternity in the dank darkness, such a wondrous sight seemed positively unreal.
And it wasn't just seagulls and wind he could hear; the cheers and jubilation of the kingdom's citizens rose above the other noises as they celebrated their liberation from the beast that had threatened their very existence. And in just a moment they would see why, as the old man lead two of the elders into the throne room.
Just as Cyrus suspected, the man had in fact been the king of Atlantis. Though "had been" was especially true now, as he introduced Junn and Kariko as the new king and queen of the sunlit kingdom. He thanked them from the bottom of his heart for their help, and for allowing him to see the rebirth of his home. The thrones moved, revealing to those present an extravagant vault filled with treasures of every shape and size imaginable. He instructed the new rulers to use it wisely... and then extended to the party of knights a reward of sorts, encouraging them to take six items each in the hopes that they could be of assistance.
Normally Cyrus might reject such an offer, given what Atlantis had just been through and had in store for it in the future, but the sight of the former king slowly aging away did well to silence any protests from the young man. He simply nodded, and gave a bow to both he and the new king and queen. "Thank you for all that you have done for us, Your Majesty." He said. Even Hama once again emerged from his grimoire, mimicking the gesture.
Once he and the others had collected their share of the spoils, they were lead away by the king's envoy to meet with Tskumi. After their reports he handed them each a scroll, and bid them farewell. And it seemed as though they had a new companion for the trip home; Undine herself.
And as they left the glorious island, Cyrus couldn't help but stare back at its majesty. "We'll be back soon." He muttered, and Hama nodded in agreement. The knowledge they could gain from visiting such a place in a time of peace was one thing, but he had been absolutely serious when he noted that he wanted to help them adjust to their new life on the surface however he could.
But for now, Cyrus wanted nothing more than a nice, quiet nap. That was all the reward he needed at the moment.

[attr="class, cyrusstats] Combat Notes The day is saved; now go and rest our heroes
The Calamity was unable to truly contend with their combined attacks. Although, Artemis was sure that their help in the form of the Great Spirit Undine had a hand in their victory. The armor, the power boost, and finally the refreshed healing that the Lady Undine provided had been a boon. [break][break]
And explosion.[break][break]
Artemis herself got thrown back, but was able to stab the glass sword that Lydia had given her onto a pillar, effectively stopping her from being blown away by the immense force. It would only last for a moment, before everything ended in an eerie silence.[break][break]
It was then that Artemis finally realized that they had risen from the deep. They were now on an island of sorts, water crashed around them as the sea took in its new surface inhabitant. The wind, cool and light, would sweep through the newly risen island. Artemis closed her eyes for a moment, basking in the newfound sunlight, savouring the surface. Yet, a part of her missed being underwater. It felt like a second home for her, and she knew that this experience will always be a part of her.[break][break]
The citizens, the three elders, and the old man would approach them. A speech. Decisions made. It was a new life for these people, and Artemis felt for them.[break][break]
A separation of mana. [break][break]
Artemis would watch as Lady Undine separated from her, immediately forcing her transformation back to herself. Artemis felt weak at first, with the immense presence within her disappearing. She had known that the Full Spirit Dive that the Lady Undine forced themselves to go through had been temporary, but she also admitted to herself that the power can be quite addicting.[break][break]
After the the Great Spirit talked to the Elders, she would approach Artemis and held out her hand. Artemis, for her part, reached out and held it. Then, she would kneel in front of the Great Spirit.[break][break]
“Lady Undine, I would like to thank you on behalf of our group. The Calamity was a strong opponent, and our combined efforts would probably have been just enough, but the damage would have been too much…” She would sigh, shaking her head. It was not easy to admit that one was not as strong as one had hoped, yet the Calamity had put them all through the ringer.[break][break]
“I understand that you might have some reservations, however, I had hoped-” Artemis paused, unsure if she should even make this request. Yet, she knew that this was an opportunity she could not miss. "I had hoped that you might join me.” She ended for a moment.[break][break]
She took a deep breath now. Artemis was, in essence, prostrating herself in front of the Great Spirit. It was a being of immense power, a progenitor, and a deity in the eyes of the Church of Clover. [break][break]
“To rid the world of its taint. To protect the citizens of both the Clover Kingdom and of Atlantis from another being like the Calamity. I am petitioning for your help, as a partner.” She would say with more conviction in her voice. “Strength to drive away the darkness. The will to overcome the temptations. The power to defeat the corruption that rears its head at the world. I hope, I ask- no, I implore that you would give our partnership a chance.”[break][break]
Artemis looked up now, meeting Lady Undine’s eyes. [break][break]
“For a better, and brighter future.”

[break][break] TL;DR Artemis tries to bond with Undine. [break][break] Spells Used:
[attr="class","florencetext"]It seemed the calamity was truly on it's last leg when it tried to get away from the four knights. After all it wasn't even able to stop the weakest spells thrown at it unlike when the fight first started. Lydia could of course not reject the large part Undine played in the final moments of the fight from her spells all the way down to her showing up. It was almost as if freeing the spirit had weakened the calamity in general. As all the spells hit the calamity it could call the magic knights cheaters to which Lydia would respond in a cold tone. This was a fight to the death there was no rules. Of course in it's final moments it would unleash a blast in the whole room that sent them all flying back. The glass mage some how managed to land on her feet and it seemed the blast did no damage to any of them which was good. All that was left was silence as the battle was over and the magic knights won. Not only had they saved Atlantis but the kingdom itself and they all managed to make it out alive. [break][break] Not only that but they also returned Atlantis back to the rest of the world allowing the people of the city to see the light of day again after countless years. The old king and new king and queen along with what seemed to be the whole kingdom showed up to the throne room. The former king thanked the mages before passing away. The crimson lion mage would say a blessing in elvish that the other were unable to hear. The pink haired mage would turn to look at her partner who was currently speaking with Undine. That's when Tskumi pulled her to the side to speak about his own plans before asking the vice captain if it was fine if he joined her magic knight squad to server her. Lydia wasn't one to turn away a new recruit and would accept the mans offer before heading over to Artemis. She would then take the water mages hand giving her a bright smile. All that was left now was to return to clover.

Rosalia’s eyes widened as she heard the Calamity scream about how they’re cheating before everything became white. A bright light came from the monster and with it a power that sent the beauty flying into the ceiling. She impacted painfully with it and winced, knowing that she’d have bruises all over her back tomorrow. The beauty closed her eyes but she was still blinded. This was an explosion of the worst kind. Her mind wandered off to how the others had taken it. Probably better than her. Her ears rang painfully but she couldn’t move as she took the impact head on, like a proper idiot. She hadn’t known that it would come and hadn’t predicted being ready for it. The beauty then felt her body begin falling and scrambled to catch herself on one of the holes in the ceiling, finding one as her body hung limply off of one of her hands. She blinked a few times as her vision and hearing came back. [break][break] A warm light danced across her skin and the familiar sound of seagulls filled her ears, reminding her of her years in the Blue Roses of Rague. What…just happened? Her crimson eyes wandered around the area, quickly spotting Lydia, Artemis and Cyrus all alive and well. A little sigh escaped her lips as she swung herself off onto a nearby crumpled section of the wall and jumped down from there, landing close to the other Magic Knights. Cyrus’ voice had snapped her out of her little daydream, and she turned to look at him and the rest of the party, still in a daze. [break][break] Her gaze landed on the familiar form of the king, and a little weight lifted off of her shoulders as she saw him alive. The man looked…horrible would be an understatement, yet he walked through that same door they’d made their way through, and into the final fight. He introduced them quickly to the new rulers of Atlantis, to which Rosalia gave a very deep and quick bow, wincing at the action of bending. That explosion had definitely bruised her back bad. She’d have to stop by a medic on her way back. [break][break] As she raised her head, her eyes widened and a soft gasp left the beauty’s lips as she watched the ancient king wither away. She gave him too a bow as the wind took away his ashes to a better place. The beauty didn’t know how to feel. It was all too dream-like…nightmare-like...Atlantis had all felt surreal. [break][break] Rosalia crouched down to touch the ground of the castle, just to make sure it was real. And once the ground didn’t crumble away, she found herself glancing out of the holes at the blue sky. She could hear Artemis communicating with Undine off to the side, and she would not disturb this meeting of soulmates as she observed the clouds quietly for another minute before sighing and getting up. Lydia had attracted the attention of a new potential squad-mate, which was good for her while Cyrus headed for the vault to explore what possibilities hid for him there. [break][break] And despite all of this…the witch was still silent. What does one say in this situation? Congratulations? The ice took time to thaw from her soul and the shadow oddity needed time to dissipate from her senses. For once, the Black Bull was speechless. She had so many questions but they had to leave. She would deliberate on them on her own…on the way home. [break][break] A soft sigh escaped her before she too, followed Cyrus into the vault, grabbing whatever resonated with her best. She gave Cyrus, Lydia and Artemis a little bow. She thanked them for being the ones on this adventure with her. She didn’t know if she’d be alive otherwise. The witch then turned and also bowed lower towards the new Royal family. [break][break] Hopefully the Wizard King though they’d done a good job… If not, she’d hear about it when she got home. Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
