[attr="class","haniascroll"]The ice mage walked through the portal and looked around silently, it wasn't what he expected at all, more so as the sin that this bubble was revealed by Asmodeus himself. "Avarice..." he muttered to himself deep in thought as he brought up his hand, his thumb going to his cheek his index finger going to his forehead as the other three curled 'What has you so worried? It's not like you.' a voice 'I see you're back again, obviously, you don't know me if you don't think something like this would worry me.' he would reply as if having a conversation with another 'Okay, but you still haven't answered my question' the voice would state 'Avarice is something inherent within all living beings...' he sent back 'And you think that you are going to fail? You've never failed in anything you've tried before so why would you start here?' it would ask.
He didn't like how this voice seemed to think it knew him well but strangely it did soothe his mind quite a bit. 'My family can be prideful and arrogant and I managed to pass that place but then... Lucifer is still hanging around so we still might have to deal with him later.' he thought to himself, he brought his hand down as he heard Ard's voice talk to him "Hm?" he would say as if he hadn't been paying attention "I will hold you to it Captain." he said eventually, he'd bring his arm up his spirit taking form on it 'My sensory is fuzzy, go do some scouting.' he said to the spirit through their bond, soon enough the spirit took off and started to fly off to help his partner get his bearings "Remind me to train ki when we get done with this." he said to Ard ironically as if he could forget, still he disliked not knowing his surroundings.
It was then that he noticed his clothing and skin was blood red and grumbled "That bastard is paying for my new wardrobe." he said creating a block of ice the size of a snowball and started moving it over his skin allowing it to melt and clear the blood away. "I'm half tempted to resurrect that damned daemon just to kill him again for making me this filthy." his undertone sounded agitated but to those who didn't know him he would just sound the same. Hania had a thing about cleanliness, it was the reason he took four baths and had four changes of clothes before the sun had even got fully over the horizon. It wasn't a pride thing, it was his formative years and early life that had caused him to have such a need for order and cleanliness in his life.
He walked around looking over many of the armors worn and weapons used "Possibly around five to six hundred years?" he said squatting, giving an estimate but in honesty he believed that it was likely longer as he believed that this was when Clover may have been in its fledgling phase of life. He hadn't been in many wars, in fact, he had only entered into the tail end of the Diamond war and yet... this was all so familiar somehow. He stood straight and walked around a little more remaining within eyeshot of the others. He ignored the wails and cries around him, it wasn't that he was unfeeling but he knew that it was likely a distraction and would be used to make them waiver.
"Stop lying to yourself and to us sir... you are struggling, there is no shame in saying so attempting to hide it only puts yourself and everyone around you at risk." he was stern on this matter, he knew that both captains knew this man personally so if he knew that something was affecting him then they certainly did. He listened to Ard and started to follow Lucifer silently 'Is there anything you could be tempted by?' the voice from earlier would say to him 'Who knows, everyone craves something; it's just a matter of finding out what they crave.' he replied back.
Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Light Class & Type: Relic ¦ Accessory (bracelet) Magic Specializations: Physical Reinforcement ¦ Healing Appearance & Lore: A simple bracelet made out of reinforced glass with an opalite charm dangling from it almost like a pendulum, that gives off a dull light during the day and a bright light during the night preventing any natural shadow from forming.
There is nothing of major historical importance or deep story into where this item came from. The white-haired heir of the Ravencrest family has suffered from terrible day and night terrors since he was young and still does to this day. When asked what is wrong he brushes it off telling people not to worry it was a condition he had. He will never go into the terrible things he sees, in fact, he personally wishes he could forget he quickly realized that his perfect memory was a double edge sword and at times he truly wished he didn't have it.
His elder sister Lydia was the first to realize that it happened more when he was in an emotional state or surrounded by darkness. She also realized that he refused to sleep unless every light source he could find was active or he would sleep outside under the sun during the day, this wasn't optimal as he was to be trained to take over the family if anything were to happen to Lydia. Still, there wasn't much anyone could think to do to help him as he refused to open up but even if they could that came with a different set of hurdles they had to get over. Hania earlier in his life wouldn't take things from people due to his treatment before being adopted.
It took a while but Lydia finally found a way to help her younger brother, she had a crystal made with light inside and told him to use it when he sleeps. She said it was hers and she just wanted to see if it would help. He was reluctant but she said it only had to be a few days so he accepted. Throughout those few days, he slept somewhat peacefully so it was clear that it helped but not enough, she could only guess that the light wasn't strong enough. She realized this would be fine for a normal child afraid of the dark but it was clear to the pink-haired woman that this wasn't a normal situation.
She personally designed what she believed would help him the most, she chose the materials, their appearance even the opalite that dangles from it. As the bracelet was being made she slowly started to imbue her own element into the glass beads and the opalite as the former was created and the latter was shaped. It took close to a year to complete but Lydia seen it as something that should be done slow and steady, this was to make sure that it was done right the first time and that no matter what it would be near indestructible for whatever he may face in life.
On what is now classed as Hania's eighth birthday after a certain incident happened, she gave him a box, and within it laid the bracelet. He was told to keep it with him always as she would be there to keep the darkness at bay and watching over him so he could be at peace while he rested. From that moment he has always kept it with him even if he hasn't always worn it.

[attr="class","header"]Mammon the Avarice and Beelzebub the Gluttony
[break] Nero sighed, a soft smile appearing on his pale lips. You're right. I apologize. A Wizard King's greatest strength is hiding his pain, I'm afraid. Nonetheless, I will try not to burden you, but I will ask for help if needed. Let us keep pressing on. The former Wizard King gathered his strength, digging deep into the recesses of his soul and wrenching any power left in his temporary existence. He had not set foot in this desert in some time himself, but it was just the same as he remembered. There was always death here, always. [break][break] Something was wrong. Something deep within the dirt and rubble of this place began to rumble. The rumbling shook and nearly tossed the mages as the world around them began to crack and splinter. Through these massive splinters, they could see other realities. In one of them, they could see Sosshi burning, engulfed in blue flames. Far atop a decrepit building sat a bat-like creature, screeching toward the sky. In another they could see a wasteland, a Clover Kingdom reduced to a barren nothingness. In another was the Royal Palace crumbling as a Wizard King fought to defend it. This Wizard King was one Nero immediately recognized. [break][break] Artemis...it can't be.. The look on Nero's face was one they would not soon forget. He knew who this was and just like that, the cracks disappeared, but not without leaving a gift to the mages below. Before them stood not the Avaricious, but the Lord of Flies himself; Beelzebub. Ardere would recognize him immediately as the Lieutenant he defeated during the triple attack some time ago. He and Silas had rushed to the defense of separate cities, each resulting in the defeat of an Archdaemon's Lieutenant. How could Beelzebub be here? [break][break] Shit! Lucifer began to panic for a moment. The time fissures are getting bad. Father...what's going on?! He shouted as the horrific entity standing before them turned around. Shrouded in darkness and flies, he was a rotten form, forged of decaying flesh and rotten bone. There was no murderous intent, no anger to be felt from this creature, only hunger. Devouring, gluttonous hunger consumed them. The group could feel it seeping from his flesh as it nearly fell off his cracked bones. He was held together by hunger, only hunger. [break][break] I do believe your Crimson King killed my last Lieutenant of Gluttony. He has a habit of doing that, doesn’t he? Oh well. For here he is reborn. You see Time….glorious glorious….time…It fixes everything. Bending it to my will….I can change everything. I can reforge this world into something better. I can bring loved ones back from the dead. Here the Devils cannot control me! I control everything here and I will save this world from their hatred and evil by resetting it! [break][break] It was Asmodeus again. Was he doing this on purpose or was he simply losing himself in the power of time? Lucifer was clearly frustrated. Between the cracks in time and this appearance of Beelzebub, he had no idea what was going on. Dammit, father. This is not the plan. I have to know what is going on. But first, we fight. Behind him he could feel a growling, a deep, resounded growl. It was Mammon. [break][break] Standing behind them was a behemoth of a man, made of rock and stone, he was a golem of a Daemon. He was easily fifteen feet tall, built like a fighter. They were being cornered. You're not supposed to be here, Beelzebub. His hot breath could be seen even in this desert, as he stared straight past the mages toward the Lord of Flies. They were exchanging growls, as it appeared as if they would fight one another instead. This just keeps getting fucking better. Behind them was another crack in space and time, but this one did not hold another timeline. There was only swirling blue and purple inside of it, endless space. They were now presented with a choice; get involved in the fight between Archdaemon or flee into the portal.
I left the memory of you[break][break] where I[break][break] scattered your ashes[break][break]

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] Ardere placed a hand on Nero's shoulder. He owed a lot to this man, but they could not fool themselves in regards to his situation. They had to be careful. Hania is right. Please, be careful, Nero. Looking around, the desert was littered with bodies. If this was a few hundred years ago, then he had to imagine this was a conflict with the Spade. Leaning down to get a good look at some of the uniforms, his suspicions were confirmed. Unfortunately he was not allotted much time to take in his surroundings as the ground began to rumble and break. Time itself was splitting. [break][break] The Crimson Lion Captain watched as several timelines opened up before them, grabbing Nero and holding on to him tight so that he did not fall and hurt himself. He trusted Zaven and Hania could take care of themselves, and while Lucifer was temporarily their ally, he was not concerned with his well-being. Wait. The Kasai peered into a timeline that the others did not, and in it he saw Silas. There was his former apprentice, standing and smiling as he fought some unknown enemy. Silas! Reaching out for him, the fissure closed beyond his grasp. Grinding his teeth, he closed his eyes for a moment. He'd worked so hard to overcome his wretched memories, and here he was reacting like it never happened. A father never forgets his son. And he would not forget Silas. He was, however tasked with the safety of others he could not simply overlook. In that regard, he turned to face his comrades. Before he could speak, he felt an all too familiar, rancid magical aura. Beelzebub. [break][break] Ardere remembered Beelzebub all too well. Their fight in the Forsaken Region was not one he would soon forget. It was very early in his Captaincy. He was still learning how to be a man back then. It was in this fight that he mastered his King's Arsenal. Were his days as the Crimson King over? He was the Divine Dragon now, wasn't he? Peering down at his pale skin, he looked up to his enemy. Asmodeus' voice echoed across the chasms of this desert, but he did not falter due to it. He looked at Beelzebub the same way he did those years ago, with the intent to defeat him. [break][break] Behind them appeared another powerful magical presence: Mammon. Shit. They were pincered by two Archdaemon. This was not a fight they could easily win. As they were presented with a choice, Ardere chose to make a decision. These split second moments were what made great Captains. He could only trust that he was right. Grabbing Nero and handing him to Zaven, he gave his orders. Zaven. Take Nero into the portal. Hania, go with them. Lucifer and I will hold these two off for a moment before leaping in myself. Go! He had no desire to trust their safety to a Daemon, but he trusted Hania and Zaven to take care of Nero. He also trusted in the Prideful's knowledge of his brethren. Alright Lucifer. Let's make this quick. Tyr and Siegfried activated instinctively as a sprawling armor of flames crawled across Ardere's skin and his hair burst into a bonfire. Spiraling swords began to float behind his form as he readied himself for battle. He expected the Daemon to do the same. Launching the swords towards the Lord of Flies, he slammed his foot into the ground to create a gargantuan crevice in it. It was time to fight, even if just for a moment.

It has gotten stronger as he has, and this is the final version of this spell. He creates a massive sword out of flame. Being 2 meters in length it is long enough to match his own height but not too large to be awkward when wielding. The user can grab this sword, but they can also manipulate it in an 80 meter area, being 40 m radially around them-self. They can manipulate it to stab or slash or twirl, anything the user can think of. For every 50 control the user has, they can make an extra sword. These swords are powerful enough to cleave through stone and metal like it was butter, and limbs are just the same. These spells do have the ability to kill.[break] [break] Name of Spell: King's Flame: Tyr[break] Elemental Type: Fire[break] Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Attack Creation/Physical Reinforcement[break] Range & Speed: Self | N/A[break] Mana Cost: 40 (20)[break] Stats Effected: +Grand Strength[break] Applicable Perks: Mana Conservationist, Concussive Blows, Battle Knight, Brute, Herculean Strength.[break] Description: Ardere has used this spells for years, and is considered one of his most used spells. Based on the Ifrit spell Lysander used and the Abyss Armor Elizabeth utilized, this spell has been honed and practiced. The mage creates an armor of flame across his entire body, lighting his hair on fire in the process. This also causes his muscles to expand and strengthen as the PR aspect of it reinforces his strength. This allows him to punch holes in buildings, or even level them. The power of the flame and reinforcement are used in tandem to make this a monstrously terrifying offensive spell.

[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania remained still hearing Nero's voice "A Wizard King's greatest strength is also their greatest weakness it would seem." he wasn't pulling punches, this place was dangerous, more so, as his sensory was still quite fuzzy. "Also that is pride talking and given our current company I would be careful about being too prideful on such matters because you put everyone around you in danger." he warned not wanting to end up a victim of a daemon because of another timelines wizard king, to be honest, he refused to be put in any more danger than was required. He would allow Ard to deal with the man as he had a connection with Nero where he didn't, when he had become a magic knight Jagen had just taken the Wizard King mantle. "Are you in need of healing Wizard King?" he would ask his tone this time was respectful as he saw the taxed breathing.
He turned his attention towards Amostia in the hopes he would be able to get some information but something had yet to come back, but then that was to be expected with how vast the battlefield was. "I guess we should be grateful that it's only one battle and not a multitude, that would make it a bit harder to pinpoint." he stated turning his attention back to the weaponry and armour of the soldiers on both sides as he tried to figure out where in history they had found themselves. Hania had heard the rumbles but thought nothing of them, at least at first as there could be a natural explanation behind it although he doubted it. Soon enough they had become excessive and had caused him to almost lose his balance but he remained upright after changing his stance. 'I am not going to like the answer if I ask the question' he thought to himself.
Soon enough tares in the fabric of time could be seen, other timelines showing alternative endings to differing scenarios. This he didn't like "I knew I wasn't going to like the answer." he said with a calm tone. "Captain, stop he is gone!" he called out knowing this wasn't good "Remember which of the daemons we are facing now Avarice... greed..." he reminded him, greed was a simple sin to work out, it was the want of always wanting more than what one had. "Are you unsatisfied with me and my performance that you would wish your old vice-captain back in my stead?" he would ask an ordinary person would be hurt to even think of such a possibility but Hania was far from ordinary in many ways. This was his way of making Ard realize he should be happy with what he had and not wish for more.
He watched as even Lucifer seemed confused about what was happening, so he called Asmodeus to get some answers. It wasn't until then he noticed the other entity covered in flies, the melted rotting skin hanging onto the frame barely. Upon seeing the walking corpse he felt something, it wasn't exactly fear nor was it disgust, it was discomfort but it didn't even feel like his own but another person's. He couldn't help it given everything that happened since Jagen's announcement about these three archdaemons... the royalty so to speak. "Do I know this daemon?" he was so confused because he never forgot anything there was a sense of familiarity but not his own he needed answers but didn't expect the daemons would be forthcoming about such things even if he was to ask them, then again even if they were would he trust their words?
"The daemon of Gula... that would be Beelzebub" he spoke more to himself than to the others, he had never come across this daemon, then again he had never come across Leviathan but he knew what to say to him to get under his skin but then it didn't take a psychologist to understand that he had daddy issues. "Crimson King?" he said talking out to Asmodeus "Sorry, he died a while back... though he was reborn unlike that walking Halloween reject." he stated his eyes going back to the lord of Flies before turning his attention to Ard "Asmodeus is becoming as unhinged as the magic he wields if he isn't stopped and soon the last shattering we had will pale in comparison to the one he is attempting now." this threat was very real and the more Asmodeus's sanity unravelled itself the more he grew concerned.
"Are you as delusional as your aquatic brother was?" he would ask turning his attention to Lucifer who seemed frustrated "Did you really think he would keep to any kind of plan you created, more so during war?" he sighed and shook his head "I'm starting to think you are as if not more naive than my cousin Amaya and that girl is a ditzy socialite who believes that the world is not only sugar and rainbows but that the kingdom should be painted in different shades of pink." he wasn't even kidding on that one. "During war plans change and both sides adapt accordingly, we've got you as an ally at current and one other son has fallen on top of this, two people who shouldn't be here meaning your father is not only going loopy but changing the plan due to the unforeseen predicaments" he informed him.
Hearing the growl he sighed "And now Avarice has joined us now, this has just gotten more complicated" he knew this was dangerous but he couldn't help but feel somewhere between frustrated and irritated, he didn't want to deal with this at all. It was clear that the two daemons were ready to fight each other which suited him just fine, he would make the shaved ice so they could watch and just take out the injured winner but he knew that it wouldn't be that easy. He noticed the purple and blue swirling portal, he picked up one of the swords and poked it through it, leaving it for a few seconds before bringing it back to see what could be on the other side. Even if that was their only way out there was no way he'd go into it if he had even a shred of concern that it could be dangerous.
Hearing Ard give him an order he just stood there "No." he said in a nonchalant tone, he knew that Ard was his direct captain and so he should follow the order but he refused. "You will get through that portal first and I don't care if I have to throw you through it myself." his tone was calm the entire time but it was clear it wasn't making an idle threat, Ard would be going through that portal before he did. "Besides, out of those of us who were sent here, I'm the only one not injured from another fight." Ard and Zaven were still both injured from Amon to varying degrees and he could already see Nero was struggling. "Now, are you walking through the portal on your own or am I throwing you? I would prefer the former so you keep your dignity in check." he said allowing Ard to decide before it was decided for him.
Seeing the divine dragon activate spells he could only groan why was he surrounded by idiots who lacked survival instincts, before to much damage could be done he moved in front of Ard "Go! Now! I'll be right behind you! And this isn't a request, this is an order Ard... you might be in charge of this endeavour but I've been given direct orders by Jaegen to get you back home safe. So go!" if nothing else the Ravencrest were loyal to the kingdom above all else and did follow their orders so long as they made sense. The order given to him by Jaegen did though he still thought him a fool for allowing Ard to go given his current condition but then he was quite sure Ard would have ended up here even without authorization.

[break] My son, this is the plan. Lucifer was shaking, genuinely shaking. Something was wrong. In the depths of his mind, memories were beginning to resurge. Were they his own? He could not place them. Regardless, he had no choice other than to fight his brothers. This was for his own survival now. He'd agreed to help these mages, why? The answer lay deep inside his subconscious, but he could not find it in the myriad of darkness and flames. If he was once a man, those parts of him were long gone. [break][break] Lucifer ground his teeth at the Vice Captain's words. The human couldn't be right. Father had promised him, hadn't he? Dark Servants! Summoning forth an array of Dark golems, they leaped to his defense against Mammon, battling back the brute and his powerful magic. An aura was beginning to shimmer across Mammon, the aura of a beast as his form was amplified and he smashed through the golems. This won't hold long, but maybe it can buy us some time. Listen to your second, Ardere. Get through that damn portal. Prison from the Abyss! A massive spell cage formed of dark tendrils fell down upon both Mammon and Beelzebub, just as the latter of the two defended themselves from the Captain's onslaught with some manner of a Pestilence inspired magic. Something was different about the Lord of Flies--he was stronger. Far stronger than when Ard had fought him back in the Forsaken Region. [break][break] As the group would enter the portal, they would find no alternate timeline, no other plane based in their world. They stood in some sort of massive tube, time magical swirling around them in a plethora of blue and purple. The magic here was not yet corrupted by Asmodeus--it was a pure time magic. We're in between realms now... Lucifer leaped in the portal, behind Zaven and Nero. The Wizard King suddenly began to stand up straight as his wounds were healed, his form surging with godly energy. He was revitalized, how? How is this possible? I feel...stronger. The portal to this world between worlds would begin to close assuming both Ardere and Hania chose to enter. This place is made from the same magic you are, untouched by Father....for the moment. You'll find your strength has returned as the mana here fuels you. We should be able to take this deeper into the Magic Zone to find Father. The real question though is....how did we end up here in the first place? A product of the time fissures perhaps? Hmm. Agh! Lucifer grabbed the side of his head as a thundercrack headache overtook him for a few moments. Once it subsided, he got a good look at the world around them as the rest of the group entered, crouching down to touch the pure mana that made the ground on which they stood. It was a rainbow bridge, almost like the Bifrost in old legends. [break][break] Their quick reprieve was immediately subsided as the nearly closed portal began to reopen, two massive clawed hands covered in flies wrenching it open. Mammon was quickly thrown in, his form riddled with wounds as he could barely move. What entered the portal directly after Hania and Ardere was not simply the Beelzebub they'd witnessed before, it was awakened. The magical power emanating from this beast was strong, even for an Archdaemon. His cloak was formed completely of shadows and bugs, his rotten form filled with mana, expanding and increasing in size. His crimson eyes were fixed on one thing and one thing only; Hania. Why? Why was he staring directly at him? The sheer murderous intent was palpable, able to be felt by everyone standing in this realm beyond time. Mammon was unconscious, knocked out by presumably Beelzebub's attacks.. Brother! What has become of you? Lucifer was shaking again. Mammon was still alive, for now. They were in for a fight. The rotten daemon gave no answer, no response. He was far too gone in his corruption. [break][break] Nero reacted first, opening an array of void portals around the Archdaemon. From each portal a burst of energy began firing down upon him, prompting the beast to guard itself with its cloak that began to extend around him like a shield. The cloak would then begin to send gargantuan, wasp-like insects at the portals. Plague Vanguard! They were not golems, but rather attack creation, and they were rotten and evil just like their master, but they easily overpowered the former Wizard King's Grand level spell. It was uncanny. Sheathing himself in some sort of defensive spell, his cloak overtook his entire body. Cloak of Flies. Staring down Hania still, the Archdaemon unleashed an Archmage level spell onto the group. Rider of Pestilence! From a shadowy portal was summoned forth a golem of titanic proportions, easily ten meters tall. It was a rider on a horse, made entirely of bugs and decay, wielding a massive lance. Charging forward, this golem alongside the large wasps was headed directly for the Vice Captain. There was very little distance between the golem and Hania, only Ardere closeby. Zaven, Nero, and Lucifer all reacted to summon spells to his aid, but they were quickly wreathed in insects and archnids attempting to eat away their flesh. They would not be quick enough. It was up to the two Crimson Lions now. Just what kind of enemy were they facing?

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] Hmph. Ardere cracked a smile, and in this smile was the visage of a red and brown haired man. For just a moment, he was not the Divine Dragon. I may have loved Silas like he was my own, but never doubt for a moment that you are the best Vice Captain I've ever had, Hania. Recalling himself as he leaped backwards, his spells were still launched at Beelzebub, but he would choose to walk through the portal instead of staying. I trust you with my life. Without you...I do not know what I would have become in recent times. He was right. The Captain was too quick to take the lead again, going gung-ho against their enemies. He found himself far too used to the position of leadership, but despite his reprieve here; he was still injured from his fight with Aamon. He had no choice but to leap through the portal at the bequest of his trusted Vice Captain. [break][break] The images of Silas had shaken him to his core, but only for a moment. He was collected already. While he missed Silas, Emily, and Lydia, they were all pillars of what the Crimson Lions had become known for. One would assume that would be a good thing, but what Hania brought to the table was far different. Hania was not brash or hot-headed like so many Crimson Lions were, he was calm, intelligent, and gave Ardere a sense of stability. While the Captain himself was nowhere near was bold as he was in his youth, he was still a Lion at heart and always would be. His current second leveled him out and grounded him in ways no other had before. So while he may be different, he was so very necessary to the day to day life of their Squad. And for that, the Kasai was eternally grateful. Their dynamic was not something he would simply trade away, even to have Silas back. The dead needed to rest, even in his mind. [break][break] What Ardere found after leaping into the portal was not what he had expected. The mana flowing around him was unlike anything he had ever felt before; pure time magic. Every hair on his form stood up as static electricity ran across his skin. Now this is something else. Looking over to Nero, he quickly noticed the resurgence in life within the old man. Good. They would need as many capable warriors as they could get by the time they made it to Asmodeus himself. Unfortunately, what entered the portal immediately after himself and Hania was enough to send a shiver even down the Dragon's spine. [break][break] Salamander was going haywire inside the fire mage, rumbling and growling at the presence of what stood before them. Mammon was so easily swept aside, as was Nero's magic. Just how powerful had Beelzebub become? Was this even the Lord of Flies anymore? What the hell are you? This mana reminded him of Malacath, or Sven, one of the stronger Archdaemons. This was not simply some overpowered Lieutenant they were face to face with. This was a foe that they would need to fight together if they had any intention of leaving with the capability of engaging Asmodeus. It was likely that was not entirely possible. What would they do? [break][break] He only had enough time to muster a few words as the Golem was immediately summoned and charged towards them. Attack with me! Directed at his Vice Captain, the fire mage brought all of his swords to one point. Deactivating his armor but maintaining his Siegfried's Arsenal, he summoned another sword alongside the Arsenal; Kagutsuchi. This Nagamaki was formed in his hands, surrounded by the other floating swords which were all now launched at the oncoming golem amid a blast of intense, white flames. Hania would not have much time to dodge if he chose to do so. It was most likely he would be forced to attack alongside his Captain, but together they could likely overpower even this golem. Take this, you bastard. Whatever Beelzebub had become, he would be felled just like the rest of their foes, for he was no different in that regard.
-Siegfried's Arsenal sustained[break][break] Name of Spell: King's Arsenal: Kagutsuchi[break] Elemental Type: Fire[break] Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Attack Creation[break] Range & Speed: 150 m/75 m/s for ammunition | Melee (1.5 m)/Same as user speed[break] Mana Cost: 40 | 20[break] Stats Effected: +12 Power[break] Applicable Perks: Mana Conservationist, Battle Knight[break] Description: Summoning forth a Nagamaki forged of pure flames (similar to a katana but the handle is just as long as the blade and in this case the entirety of the weapon is 1.5 meters in length) the user can fire a blast of cylindrical fire at a target. With a base of one ammunition, the user's control allows an extra three shots from the blade. These cylinders can reach up to 150 m away and have a length of 75 m with a diameter of 20 m, fired at a speed of 75 m/s they can clear their max distance in two seconds, making this a very deadly attack. When the user is out of ammo, the spell does not end (unless the user does not possess the mana to sustain it) but rather can still be utilized for melee attacks that match the range of the sword and the speed of the user. As far as damage goes, both the blast and sword are capable of causing a minimum of 3rd degree burns bordering 4th degree. If cut by the sword, it would easily cause deep searing wounds if not sever smaller limbs.

[attr="class","haniascroll"]The ice mage looked at Lucifer "Do you truly believe him that this was always the plan? If it was, why didn't he tell you? After all, you are his first son, his eldest, so shouldn't that mean you should be privy to such a thing?" he would ask the daemon of pride. He wasn't attempting to sow seeds of contempt he was merely stating what he had observed. "Perhaps you are just as disposable as your brethren to your would-be father, I mean you did state to Leviathan that you served another before now. The archdaemon Aamon." he said calmly allowing the daemon to make his own decision on how he wanted to progress, he would rather have him as an ally for as long as possible but if it meant they needed to face him sooner than expected he was more than ready to do so.
He smiled watching Lucifer's movements, he could tell that even if it was for his survival he had decided to stand alongside them in this fight which was something he was thankful for. He wanted to avoid taking on three daemons of their strengths at a time, even two of them were one too many in his honest opinion. Yet, he could still feel and see the hesitation in the pride daemon and couldn't blame him. He had no idea what was going through the man's mind, there was no way to, he thought back to Leviathan and how he wanted his 'father's' love and the things that he said to him. His eyes went back to Lucifer "Like Leviathan, I do not think you are a born daemon and the reason you are not only hesitating but siding with us is because of who you once were. Fight to find the memories." he said patting his shoulder like an old friend.
Hania nodded 'Amostia come back we need to get out of here and quickly.' he sent to his spirit who was looking for intel from above. The ice mage looked to his captain as he spoke to him. "I am sure there have been better in the past and there will be far better when I too come to an end." he said with a calm tone, it was almost like he had resigned himself to his death with his words, it was almost like he knew something but wasn't passing the information. "I do, you'd be in a box most likely and that is still a very likely outcome if you keep pulling foolish stunts like this when injured..." he scolded "Because I'll put you in that box myself." he finished though his tone was softer.
He watched as his captain and Lucifer went through the portal, leaving the daemons of greed and gluttony outside of it to fight, but he saw the concern on the faces of those he called allies, which worried him although it didn't allow it to show. He had realized something over his months of being a vice-captain, even though he still had only taken the position to fill in a power discrepancy and lift morale within the squad, he noticed that since he had taken it he had managed to temper the hot-headedness that the Crimson Lions were known for. As he saw the others he looked around, it wasn't at all what he expected he listened to Nero and Lucifer "We seem to be both part of time and outside of it, that is an interesting turn of events." he said thoughtfully glad that Nero was feeling stronger but he was still concerned.
Hania watched Lucifer as he seemed in pain and moved instinctually to his side to check him over "Ona esaeu ohniksq Lucifer?" he would ask in the daemonic tongue, he didn't even skip a beat almost as if it was instinctual. He then took a moment to assess what he had just done. "I don't know how I know that but I asked him if he was alright." he said translating what he had said to the others around him. He knew there were going to be so many questions but none that he could answer because he didn't know the answer himself. He looked around the area "Are we in some myth?" he would ask knowing the old legends but wanting to believe that they were standing in one, his logical mind wouldn't allow such a thing, but then given everything going on there had been odder occurrences.
What happened next it seemed that none of them foresaw happening, the fissure that had let them into this place for a brief reprieve had almost closed when a set of clawed hands entered almost forcing what could be considered a wound in time to open again. The ice mage remained quiet and observed the goings on, as a sensory mage he could feel the mana coming off the lord of flies keener than most but he was pretty sure even the others that weren't were feeling the raw power of the one before them. Hania could feel the eyes on him but he seemed unmoved one way or the other. "Lucifer don't waste your breath, there's only thing he lives for it would seem..." he paused for a second "to feed." He still found it strange that the daemon was looking directly at him alone and it wasn't with hunger but murderous intent.
Was he frightened? Yes, who wouldn't be feeling this kind of power but he also understood his duty and what it meant if he allowed that fear to take over and so allowed it to roll off him like water off a duck's back. His eyes turned to the unconscious Mamon, he couldn't tell much from here, he needed to get closer. He needed time but it wasn't something he had an abundance of at current, this was twice that a daemon here had taken interest in him and he was starting to get irritated by it so he needed answers but that meant doing something he felt sick in the stomach about doing. "Lord Asmodeus, might I ask you a question?" He knew his sister would be slapping him upside the head if not worse if she heard him speaking to a daemon in such a way but he didn't care, she lost that right when she didn't turn up.
He was also hoping that this might buy him some time to think of something, he had a theory but until he could get to Mamon there would be no way to surmise if it could be possible. Hania moved his left hand out in front of him. A set of ice-blue and white runes appeared in front of him for two seconds before starting to fade, as they do so a large shard of clear ice seems to appear from them. This single shard quickly splintered into two smaller pieces, the ice shards would still look to be almost completely transparent but they still held that dark tint to them. When that spell was finished he moved his left hand back out again but this time it was as if he was holding something, as he did his ice-blue eyes seemed to frost over for a brief moment.
In his hand, a spear of ice was created letting it go it started to hover next to the ice shards, he flicked his left hand forward but had his pinky and thumb point out. The two shards started to go out of the way while the spear moved toward Beelzebub, soon the shards curved back towards the same target. Hania took this time to start running at the same time using his spear as a springboard to get over the daemon landing hopefully by Mamon untouched so he could check him over. Regardless of if he was or not Hania would check the daemon over, he could tell he was still breathing but in really bad shape, some of his skin almost looking necrotic. "Decay, I shouldn't be surprised given he's a walking stomach." he whispered to himself but there was no way for him to say if his theory was correct.
"This is troublesome." he looked up at the lord of flies for a moment to see if his attacks had hit knowing that those spells should have been strong enough to freeze limbs solid, but then this wasn't exactly normal circumstances was it. "Do not let him touch you, I believe he gets stronger every time he "feeds" off another and that beast aura isn't the only thing he possesses... I believe he has some form of decay." He hoped he was wrong about the entire thing but only time would tell on that one. He leant in to the unconscious daemon "Gaer'q zota za naknaq yiz Mamon, la raph qae laent qaekayabbi qae kaq yoq zaeredabbi aeuq aem ya loes, im esaeu edizz loai qae miksq s'ar sa's qotar aeuq la yor gae zae, xuq sa iz xaey aem aeun arazes sabbia." he whispered.
The ice mage held out his left hand the palm facing the sky, his hand closed for a few seconds only to open once more to what could be seen was a faint icy drift falling off it, above his hand, hovered a rune having what could be mistaken as a snowdrift coming off it. This was just small shards of ice, the rune was only one inch tall and half an inch wide he moved it over Mamon hoping it would heal his wounds and the necrosis that he had, it would also start to regrow anything that was lost and even increase his speed once he was able to stand up. He wasn't a gambling man but he was going under the assumption that the enemy of my enemy is my friend and from what he knew of daemons they didn't like when they were bested especially by those they deemed lesser.
It was only then he noticed as he released his attacks that Beelzebub had sent one after him that he had avoided, he would have to rely on the others to try and attack the thing for now. He had already spent quite a bit of mana just in the three spells that he was using, if he used anymore without recovering some then he knew he was just going to be a hindrance and this was something he wasn't about to do. He knew that he could spiritually dive but he remembered just how much strain that put on his body and so refused to do it as anything less than an all or nothing, he was quite sure they weren't at that point yet... or at least he hoped they weren't.

Name of Spell: Winter's Blessing Elemental Type: Ice Rank & Spell Type: Grand ¦ Attack Creation ¦ Physical Reinforcement Range & Speed: 150m ¦ 75 m/s Mana Cost: 50 ¦ 25 Stats Effected: +30 m/s Speed Applicable Perks: Apex Predator, Full Blitz Description: Hania holds a single hand out like he's holding something his eyes frosting for a mere moment as a spear made of ice appears in his hand, with the use of ammo rules additional spears can be made and either handed to other members of his group or can float around him and be controlled slightly by his mana tether to have them attack. As this doesn't have homing once set forward they can not have their course altered too much meaning it is easy to avoid them if you're quick enough. These spears do grand rank damage upon impact, those who are hit also suffer severe frostbite and moderate hypothermia.
Name of Spell: Shattered Dreams Elemental Type: Ice Rank & Spell Type: Grand ¦ Attack Creation ¦ Sensory (Homing) Range & Speed: 150 meters ¦ 75 m/s Mana Cost: 50 ¦ 25 Stats Effected: +12 power (self) Applicable Perks: Apex predator, Battle Knight, Elemental oddity Description: Hania moves his hand out in front of him an ice-blue and white set of runes appear in front of him for two seconds, as they begin to fade a large shard of clear ice seems to appear from them. Hania is able then to use this piece of ice as is or with the use of ammo rules splinter it into smaller pieces, if the latter happens the ice shards would still be almost completely transparent but they would still hold a black tint to them. With this spell, Hania doesn't aim for the throat so to speak it will only ever go for non-vital areas that will cause the most pain. With the use of sensory's homing rules, Hania is able to have these shards track the one he wants to hit while within range making it almost impossible to avoid them. While this spell is active Hania himself will gain a +12 to his power to help him if the spell was to clash against another spell. Those that are hit with this spell find themselves feeling Severe frostbite and moderate hypothermia.
Name of Spell: Snow Drift Elemental Type: Ice Rank & Spell Type: Grand ¦ Physical Reinforcement ¦ Healing Range & Speed: 150m ¦ 75 m/s Mana Cost: 50 ¦ 25] Stats Effected: +30 m/s Speed Applicable Perks: Full Blitz, Archangel's Blessing Description: Holding his hand out with the palm towards the sky his hand closes only to open once more to what appears to be a faint icy drift falling off it, above his hand, how hovers a rune having what could be mistaken as a snowdrift coming off it. This isn't actually the case it is just very small and fine ice shards. This rune is around one inch tall and half an inch wide and starts to hover around his body increasing not only his speed but healing him for grand damage, this spell is capable of doing everything that a grand healing spell can do in regards to regrowing digits, organs, limbs and revival using the healing rules. With the use of ammo rules, additional runes can be created, to use these runes he has to envision those he wishes to have one. The rune then vanishes and starts to hover around them, they also gain the benefit of the speed and healing.

With the use of ammo rules, additional peoples names can be written per trigger. While under the ability of this spell it will actively attempt to cleanse any curses, debuffs, hexes, venoms, toxins or poisons that may afflict the uses as per the clashing rules. [break] Memories... Lucifer was solemn, lost in the abyss, a sea of consciousness. Where are they? He could remember the first time Asmodeus held him, but he couldn't remember anything before that. His time with Aamon was so hazy. What was left of his memories but ash? He could feel them floating away, slipping through his fingers. I'll find them. Tears were trickling down his armored cheeks as his wings burst with magical power. I'll be okay. But first, let's beat this bastard. Whatever this thing is, it's not my brother any longer. Maybe never was...maybe none of them were... He responded to the Lion. [break][break] Reality is what you make it. The past, present, future....we give all of these things meaning when inherently there is none. The only thing that matters is what's right in front of you. And right now, it's us versus him. Nero groaned as his aura began to surge alongside the Daemon, both unleashing a combined attack of Darkness and Void. Let's do this! They shouted as a void sphere the size of a small encampment began barreling towards Beelzebub himself. They let Ardere deal with the golem for now, his flames slicing the horseman up, but not instantly defeating it. This was no ordinary golem, it was an Elemental Incarnate, one capable of casting its own spells. Twirling its massive lance in the air, a pestilence began to overwhelm it as a Grand level Attack spell was coming right down towards the Crimson Lion Captain. [break][break] A titanic hand reached up to stop the attack, covered in the aura of a scaled gorilla, some sort of magical beast incarnate. You'll have to do better than that, Lord of Flies. It was Mammon. He was still injured, but Hania had managed to give him a second chance, a way to fight. And so he did. Dishing out a punch to the golem, it was launched backwards towards the ground. The time-space tunnel around them was starting to shake as this battle of titans was waged. I know who you are. Your spirit is battered worse than mine. Let me handle my brethren with your friends. Mammon spoke this directly to Ardere, a gravel and seriousness in his voice that only could have come from a servant of Aamon. Both the Dark Daemon and this Beast Daemon had served the Champion. Save your strength, Champion. Your fight will soon come. Mammon had no intention of letting these mages off the hook, but he had honor, and he recognized the dire situation they were in. He was far more reasonable than Lucifer, and even he'd resigned himself to fighting alongside the Knights--how interesting. You and I will share words, brother. For now, let's deal with this shell of Beelzebub. [break][break] Asmodeus did not respond to Hania, and for the first time they felt as if they were not in his gaze--as if they were unreachable here. After being berated by a Daemon and his Vice Captain, Ardere would hear a voice call out to him. This was not a voice he'd recognize, but a familiar warmth lay within it. A King's strength is knowing when to fight, and when to step back and let those who love him do what they must. This form will kill you if you maintain it. You must let it go. You've got so many counting on you. I know this burden. Don't let it consume you. Have faith in your friends, and in yourself. The Captain would notice his white hair continue to shed, falling to the ground in chunks as his reddish brown hair was returning. His skin was no longer pale, his form far more resembling to who'd he'd been before becoming the Champion, the Divine Dragon. [break][break] Meanwhile, Beelzebub placed his hands together and began to summon a seemingly endless amount of bugs and decay into an attack. Rotten Vale. No, not an attack. This was some sort of mana zone. The world around them was consumed by the Pestilence as Nero and Lucifer's combined attack was torn to pieces by insects and plague. Mammon and Lucifer leaped forward together to engaged their brother, both dashing past the golem to grab ahold of him. They were immediately assaulting by his magic as the very mana around them had changed--it was rotting away. Their skin was beginning to fall to pieces, floating away in chunks. [break][break] No. No! NO! Nero crushed his glasses in his grip as his veins began to glow a dark violet, his muscles pulsing with void magic. I'm not letting you harm my knights, or these poor, time torn souls like myself. You can't take them! In the center of the area, right in front of Ardere, Mammon, and Hania was a small black hole. Void Eternity. This was Nero's Archmage spell, but something was different. His eyes were different, almost as if he was a Daemon again. Ardere would see Malacath and only Malacath in those eyes. The black hole he summoned, however began to consume all of the pestilence. This would-be mana zone was sucked into the void in space, as was the Elemental Incarnate. Nero was powerful, but even this was beyond the last time the fire mage witnessed this spell. [break][break] Mammon, Lucifer, and Zaven took this time to restrain Beelzebub. The former used his brute strength while the other two utilized their golems to bind him to the ground. Finish him! Lucifer shouted. A Wizard King always protects his Knights, his people. No matter the cost. Right, Nero? It was the voice Ardere heard before. Standing before them was a man draped in red, short brown hair and glimmering eyes. He looked like a Wizard King of old. He looked oddly familiar, actually. It can't be... Second? The man simply smiled as he held a hand up, sparkling blue time magic restraining Beelzebub to the ground. Let me handle this, gentlemen. The three appeared wary. They wanted to know who the hell this guy was. A valid question after all. Just who was he? Link to reference for mystery man

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] There was a lot to take in. Perhaps too much. [break][break] Ardere watched as his beautiful, white hair fell to the ground in chunks. He felt his muscles pulse as his eyes glimmered and his skin tanned. What was he becoming? Was he dying? He didn't feel like he was dying. Ashford's memories did not mingle with his own, so what was this? The voice echoed in his mind, shattering him in ways he could not speak. But it was right. He had to know when to fight, and when to step back. Everyone had been shouting this at him the entire time. He wasn't a young buck or some brash hot head anymore. He'd long since forgotten those traits, but the fire, the fire in his veins remained. Ardere didn't have to let it burn him out. He had people he could rely on until his moment came again. He'd been jumping from fight to fight for so long, he'd forgotten what it was like to rest. It took his Vice, a Daemon, and some mystery voice in his head to convince him of that? No. He'd been convinced since the moment he stepped through the doors to get here. He just had to remember. They all had to remember what they were fighting for. [break][break] Alright. Give em hell. He had to admit, he was impressed at Hania's feats. He'd brought back a powerful ally. But his words, they held meaning behind them. Your end will be long after mine. I'll make sure of it. Even so, Ardere's body was screaming to fight. Salamander was screaming to fight too. Aren't you supposed to be the wise one? My dragon, my friend. Straightening his back, the Captain inhaled sharply. Sparks scattered across his breath and he stepped back, sword still in hand. He watched as Mammon and the others engaged the enemy. Restraining himself, he waited. He was waiting for the right moment. The Kasai was beginning to get the sense that this was not his moment, as everyone around him was fighting their hearts out. They were fighting so valiantly, even the Daemon. Hmm. He would smiled, if not for the myriad of pestilence surrounding them. Something was amiss. Beelzebub was creating a Mana Zone around them. Here? Beyond time? He would have thought it impossible, yet here they were. [break][break] For just a moment, the Dragon inside of him was about to burst forth in its full glory and wreak havoc on their enemy. The spell he'd prepared just for this moment was about to activate, and he would have showed them the true strength he'd been working on. But instead, Nero came to their rescue. Ardere turned to rejoice, until he saw the eyes, those daemonic eyes. For a moment, he was back in the Capital with his mentor's blood on his hands. It was a memory that would always haunt him, even if the man himself had forgiven him. Shedding the blood of a comrade was an unforgiveable sin, regardless of the circumstances. Even so, he'd thought the closure from Nero was enough to save him. But when he looked into those eyes, all he could see was Malacath. How was this possible? This Nero was from before he'd been possessed by the Archdaemon, right? It made no sense. [break][break] Ardere was shaking. Why was he shaking? His wounds had returned here in the place beyond time. Whatever mana that fueled him in Asmodeus' realm was no longer here. He could feel the sharp pain in his side as his white hair continued to shed. Fuck. Groaning in pain, he bore it. Salamander was going insane, writhing inside his form, screaming to get out. He was holding the spirit in. No. Not now. Falling to his knees, his vision was getting hazy. He lifted up his sword and pointed it at the mystery man who appeared before him, bearing the voice in his head. Who are you? That face. He recognized that face from a painting on his father's wall. It couldn't be. He was a former Wizard King, wasn't he? Grinding his teeth and ignoring the pain, he rose without the aid of anyone but himself. He shouldn't be hurting himself, but he had to stand and face this man, this potential King on his own two feet. I'll ask again. Who are you? Gripping his Nagamaki tight, his eyes were filled with strength as steam came from his wounds. Ardere was too damn stubborn for his own good, but he had no intention on dying, or letting anyone here die.
[attr="class","haniascroll"]The first thing the ice mage had done was to speak to Lucifer, reminding him of what he once said. That he had been the child of another daemon before he came into Asmodeus's care. He told him like his brethren that he didn't think he was a born daemon and that he should fight for the memories of who he once was. This seemed to not only confuse the daemon of pride but also light a fire within him. As he clearly couldn't remember some of his past but he said that he would fight to find them once more. He could see the tears falling from his eyes. He knew memories were important and couldn't imagine how the other was feeling as he couldn't forget anything. He often envied those who could forget as certain pains could fade if not vanish over time people saw his memory as a blessing and where it could be he also found it to be quite the curse.
The vice-captain nodded to Lucifer's words when he said he was alright and that first, they should put down the beast in front of him as he was no longer as he once was. He was coming to the realization that maybe those he believed to be family never were. "Family is what you make of it Lucifer" he said patting his shoulder. He knew this first-hand as he was adopted by one woman who was now with her ancestors before being adopted into his current family. He didn't know why he was being softer with the daemon, perhaps it was because on some level he understood the pain that he was currently going through and so was wanting to reassure him like ha had been reassured in the past.
It was then that Nero spoke, Hania was paying attention to the words "That's not completely correct as each person's perspective, memories and being are not an individual reality but each a thread within a greater tapestry." he explained his thoughts on the matter. "And you are also incorrect in believing that they have no meaning, if that was the case then why do we learn history? Or learn about individuals that came before us?" he would pose the question to Nero "Just because some people do not understand or find little to no meaning in the memories of others or the actions done in the past doesn't mean that they have no meaning to everyone." he said his tone almost sounding insulted by the former Wizard King's words. "The past is just as valuable as what is before us, the only difference is we know what came before us we don't know what awaits us." it was as simple as that.
He noticed the surge of mana coming both from Lucifer and Nero, he already knew that this wasn't good. He knew that the former Wizard King had used his body to house a daemon to protect the kingdom and not it seemed as if one of the higher three was the reason for what happened in the royal capital in the not-so-distant past. Hania had managed to not only bypass the golem but also its master in his quest to gain them more aid even if it was only for a short time. They had a threat in common and so they would have to work together to overcome it. After checking over Mamon he informed the group of his theory before telling the daemon not to make him regret what he was about to do.
They had a bigger threat and if the daemon wanted to fight them afterwards so be it but for now, they needed to work together. With that, he cast a spell and moved it so it would start healing Mamon and dealing with the necrosis that seemed to have been eating away at his body. He wasn't so worried for the other men as he believed they would be able to deal with the golem. The ice mage was an observer by nature, it was because of this he acted with a cool head and tempered those around them. He observed how Mamon had been able to deal with the ongoing attacks and how Nero and Lucifer nulled what could have been a personal mana zone. 'Is he going into a phase or consumption?' he thought to himself, he had no idea why he even knew those terms but then there was a lot he knew he didn't have answers for.
His eyes went around the area and he was getting anxious as the place started to shake, he couldn't help but wonder if it was going to fall apart at any moment thanks the large amounts of mana being used within this area. He listened as he spoke to Ard, it was almost as if the pair knew each other. "Mamon did you serve another before Asmodeus?" he would ask the archdaemon. He took note that Asmodeus didn't respond, but then, given they were both in and out of time it made sense there was only a slim chance the master of time would be able to look within this pocket. "How interesting..." he said more to himself than others, however, he knew as well as any of them just because Asmodeus couldn't see inside didn't mean there weren't other things at play.
It was then he saw someone he hadn't noticed before who wasn't like him at all, the face was familiar but he didn't exactly have enough time to go through his memory banks to figure out who this man was. He created the shards of ice at the golem while sending the ice spears towards the lord of flies. His attack spells were more or less homing missiles that would keep on their target until they hit them or something else. After doing this he rushed to see what was going on after he noticed he was losing large clumps of his hair and his complexion was once again changing. He didn't need to worry about Mamon as his healing spell was still active but created another prism and moved it near Ard. He had no idea what was going on but he guessed it couldn't hurt.
His eyes went to the two daemons that were fighting the lord of flies, he could see clumps of their skin being removed due to the decay in the mana. For all he was a strong mage, it wasn't in healing, for something like this someone like Hinota would be needed. She was a walking healing spell from what his cousin had told him. The ice mage was going to start doing something but it seemed as if Nero beat him to the punch. He saw exactly what was happening and quickly moved to drag Lucifer back so he wouldn't be affected. He kept an eye on Nero, even with his mana senses acting oddly he could feel like there was almost like a disease to the void mage's magic. His eyes moved back to Ard for a moment who actually knew the man to see if he found anything off just in case it was him being overly suspicious.
Hania watched as the void seemingly ate the personal mana zone "Void magic doesn't have that capability..." he said in a whisper to Ard "Is that the daemon within him doing it?" he had heard of what became of Nero and the aftermath although it was mostly through sparce hushed toned conversations. Hearing that the man would take care of it the ice mage shook his head "I will do the deed myself, I don't trust you and neither do they." he said walking forward creating a shard of black ice in his hand. He could tell the other men were wary about this person's arrival and if it took him to put that to ease then so be it. Still, it almost looked as if everyone were in different periods of time. Nero was now infected with a daemon, Ard looked how he did before Aamon yet he wasn't being affected in any way from what he could tell.
"Ard, going by the history of the magic knights he looks to be the second wizard king, more so after what Nero just said." it was the first time he had been informal and called Nero by his name and not by title but if there were indeed two wizard king's in their presence that was going to get complicated in more ways than one. "I believe since we are both in and out of time we are at different phases of it, I, however am not being affected by it so that's odd." he said kneeling beside Beelzebub before looking the daemon in the eye before leaning in just a little. "Find the peace you once had." he whispered before turning the shard he was carrying towards the centre of the daemon's head and running it through his skull pouring mana into it so the ice would grow over his body. He knew it would freeze him solid, the heart would stop. "He is your sibling, it's only right you shatter him." he said to both Mamon and Lucifer.

With the use of ammo rules, additional peoples names can be written per trigger. [attr="class","header"]Artorius the Second Wizard King
[break] Shatter. Everything was shattered, wasn't it? [break][break] Mammon and Lucifer stared down at their brother, both consumed by memories from a past life. They shared a unique quality that none of their brethren did; both were servants of Aamon. Members of the Horde. They could remember now, here in this place beyond time--beyond the world they knew. They lifted their fists, ready to strike, tears in their eyes. Even if they were all adbucted by Asmodeus--they were family. All of this time they'd spent in the Temporal Grand Magic Zone together, far more time than the Knights realized, was coming to an end. Both Daemon knew it. [break][break] You are right not to trust me, but that does not make me your enemy, Crimson Lions. Holding his hand out, the mystery man engulfed Beelzebub in a blue aura; Time magic. It was exactly like Asmodeus', except not corrupted. Rewinding the Daemon's wounds and his corruption, he managed to return the once-man into his regular Daemon form. While the Lord of Flies may look disgusting by human standards, it was clear that he was no longer the same entity. His eyes had a soul, they held clarity. Brothers? [break][break] Time magic has its limits, but here in this temporal tunnel, I have all the magic I could ever ask for. A sigh left the man's lips. But never enough to leave on my own. Turning to face the group, there was a strength in his step, a strength only a Wizard King held. Looking upon the Knights and his future Successor, he smiled. Some things never change. Hard headed knights charging into battle, Wizard Kings giving their souls to protect those they love, and the few who manage to stay reasonable in all of this Hell. The last part directed right at Hania, this man held up his hand once more, but this time to the sky. You're right. I was....am the Second Wizard King. You all know what happened to the First, therefore you know what that means. They all knew their history. The First Wizard King perished during his fight with the Daemon, a short reign indeed. This meant very clearly that the man that stood before them was Artorius Lucius. House Lucius had long since been forgotten to time, and there was a distinct reason for that. I am also....Asmodeus' vessel. [break][break] If you'll hear me out, I'd like to explain my circumstances to you. The Wizard King would give them a moment to deliberate if they needed. If the group agreed to hear him out, he would tell them everything he knew. He had no secrets to hide. They were right to be distrustful here, but he had no choice. The fate of everything was at stake. Everything. Asmodeus was the first successful Daemon, the original. Followed by Lilith and Aamon. I'm sure you know the original Archdaemon were all once spirits, spirits who were corrupted. Devils cannot enter our world. So they wage their war with Daemon, their creations. What you may not know, is that the three original Archdaemon were not simply spirits. Aamon was an Elf. Lilith was a Witch. And Asmodeus....was a Man. Corrupted by the Devils, they were made into weapons of war. But our focus is not on the others, for Asmodeus was...different. He maintained his clarity and his sanity after his corruption. In fact... The Wizard King bit his inner lip. It was clear he was torn up about his words. There was a depth and complexity of emotion in him, a sadness. Asmodeus was my friend. He was our secret spy working within the Daemon ranks. He wanted to help us save the world. His human memories and love were too strong to just fall to the wayside. But when the Devils found out....they destroyed his original form. For you see, his own human form was his vessel. So we made a deal. I saved him, and became his vessel. We were going to stop the Devils. We were so young. So naive. Utilizing his time magic to project images before them, they all watched this friendship, this bond be forged. I was Wizard King, and the vessel of an Archdaemon for some time. We shared our physical form quite well, actually. But that all came crashing down when the Devils sent their agents to stop us, to destroy everything. So Asmodeus used his strongest spell, crippling their forces. A spell lost to time, until a fateful day some time ago. In a tower far away. A tower that looms over us now. It sent us hurdling through time. Looking back to the group, he clasped his hands together behind his back. Getting a good look at them, he could tell they were all strong. For two thousand years. We spent two thousand years, entangled together across time. Strung out across reality. You have to understand. To spend that much time with only one person to talk to, it will drive you to insanity. And for Asmodeus; it did. His ideals to save the world and fix the damage the Devils had done became warped and twisted. To this moment, he still believes he is saving us. But time has warped his mind. He was a good man, so kind hearted. Not what he's become now. Please. Stop my friend from destroying everything, and put him out of his misery.

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] Ardere let out a heavy breath. His hand was still shaking. Putting away his nagamaki, the Lion closed his eyes. All of the white hair had fallen from his head, the glare leaving his amber eyes. He looked exactly as he did before the Aamon fight. His hair was reddish brown, his form was hulking. He was the Crimson King again. Let him speak. Ardere pleaded. Please. He wanted to hear what the great Artorius had to say. How such a man could even be here he had to chop up to time magic shenanigans. If he did not get the answers he wanted, he intended on making sure they did. The anger he felt was so swiftly quelled as he peered into the eyes of the Wizard King, there was an odd sense that he could trust him. He could have so easily been the machination of Asmodeus, yet he could not escape this feeling of ease. [break][break] The three Daemon and Nero stood silence, no doubt to absorb the words of what they just heard. Ardere had no doubt in his mind that Hania would ask the questions they were all wondering, and ones they weren't, no doubt. He was smart, too smart for his own good sometimes. How could you remain sane, if he could not? He knew what it was like to have his mind entangled with another, to share their memories, their love and their hate. He knew it all too well. Even the great fire mage could not help but succumb to insanity for a time. So he asked the one question he truly wanted to know the answer to. The one that mattered to him. [break][break] You don't have to stay. He said, looking to the three Daemon. They don't, do they? You could send them somewhere they could live their lives, couldn't you? Ardere stood up, his wounds seeping. He was hurt. Hania was helping, but his wounds would take time to seal again. There was a sense of calm in returning to his old form, even if he was consumed by pain. His Kasai blood knew strength, and it knew pain all too well. He did not intend to simply bear it. He intended on healing up before they continued, somehow. He was such an idiot for coming. All he'd do is hold Zaven and Hania back. But not now. He was going to fight, but not if he risked them all. The eyes he gave to Artorius were one that only two men who held the world on their back could exchange. And you can help me, too. Can't you? Your curse....is that you can help others but never yourself, isn't it? [break][break] I read stories about you. My father admired you. You're one of the strongest mages to ever walk the earth, and you sacrificed yourself to save the Kingdom. But you didn't sacrifice yourself. Asmodeus did. And you both suffered for it. He may have been a good man, and I share a similar idealism, but I will destroy him to save everything. We will. He looked back to Hania and Zaven, and to Nero--his friends. But we can't do it without help. Not even I can. Looking down at his large hands, he closed them tightly. Lydia should have been here. This should have been hers and Hania's fight. Why was he here? Why? He had his moment. But he just couldn't help himself. He had to be the fucking hero again, didn't he? If he had to, then he would. If he was compelled by his idealism and white knight-ism, then he'd have to succeed. The only way forward was to help Hania, to help Zaven, to help Nero and Artorius. Their world was at stake. Maybe he was selfish. Maybe he was selfless. It didn't matter. What mattered is that everyone and everything he loved could be destroyed. So of course he'd fight. Of course he'd be here. That was what Ardere did. That's why he was here after all this time. So stop the self hatred Ardere, fix yourself, and fight alongside your friends. Salamander suddenly appeared atop the fire mage's shoulders, flames in his breath and blaze in his spirit. They were here for a reason. Together. And the old Ardere was back!
[attr="class","haniascroll"]The ice mage had begun to walk towards the raging lord of flies but as he drew closer ready to put the daemon out of his misery, he was a threat in general but more so as he lost all sense of self, but it was seemingly not needed as the unknown figure had intervened. He looked at Mamon and Lucifer with pity in his eyes, he shouldn't have these feelings for his enemies but for some reason he could empathize with their pain. He hadn't been in the position of having to hold a sibling down as their death loomed but he had needed to watch as someone he considered his sister was beheaded for trying to show him the world isn't all darkness like his parents led him to believe. He opened his hand and let the ice shard fall, as it did so it changed to snow and drifted away.
"I can openly say I do not trust you, but, I will withhold my personal judgement on whether you are an enemy or not as currently not everything is as it seems." his voice was stoic once more. His eyes went back to Beelzebub, he had no idea why but he was glad that the daemon had once again come back to his senses. It was strange that he knew time healed all wounds but it was indeed the first time he had seen it cleanse in quick time. "What was wrong with him and could it happen again?" he asked, he was concerned that any one of them could be afflicted with what Beelzebub had been. "All magic has its limits sir, just some more than others." this was just the nature of magic, time wasn't special in that aspect.
Hearing him speak on how knights and wizard kings never changed he found himself curious about the last thing that was said, it was clearly aimed at him. He just didn't understand why, it wasn't as if there was anything particularly special about him compared to the other magic knight there. "I have always remained logical regardless of situation." he said continuing to watch the man as he dropped his attack spells while sustaining the one that was currently healing Mamon and Ard. He listened quietly as he brought up the fate of the first Wizard King and then revealed what happened to him. "Is it a requirement now to have an archdaemon pact to become Wizard King? Once can be considered a coincidence and twice... well that's an emerging pattern." He didn't believe it was true himself but if the general public found out something like this he would imagine it would cross at least a few people's minds.
He listened to Ard as he said he wanted to hear the man out, he nodded slightly and moved around the rift slowly his looking to the vast emptiness 'Outside time yet still part of it.' he thought to himself 'Sounds like you with humanity' the voice had returned 'Perhaps but humanity is a cloudy turbulent lake and I don't want to be within the waters' he replied to it 'It is not like that beneath surely.' it replied 'It will still be murky no matter what.' he replied to it all the while paying attention to what was going on. "With help, Devils can enter the world, it has happened in the past." he stated quietly "I don't know what is needed to bring one of those infernal things into this plain of existence and I hope the knowledge is lost." he replied looking to the man.
He was quite sure that this was a piece of information that wasn't documented and if it was it was at the back of some hidden archive that he was pretty sure only his cousin Edward had the key for. It caused him to ask the confusing question "How do I know that?" he had read over countless reports and books over his lifetime but never once had he come across anything to do with Devils being on the mortal plain or the fact they needed help to achieve it. Placing his thumb on one side of his head and his index and middle finger on the other side he started massaging his forehead "I wish I was normal." he muttered to himself, he had put up with knowing and seeing things she shouldn't his entire life and he had no answers for why it happened.
He was still paying attention to what was being said, so far it made sense after all it was how people like Mamon and Lucifer became daemons themselves. "The fact he remained human after the fact is quite the feat, it shows he had a strong sense of duty and a moral compass that couldn't be swayed." he said with a small smile "However, being a spy is dangerous everyone knows that as well he found out the consequences as you stated." his tone soured for a moment "I can't even begin to imagine how you felt witnessing your friends descent into madness all the while thinking that he is doing the best for the kingdom." he said but then tilted his head to the left a little "I believe there are two factors for it..." he began
"The first is time. The longer you live the harder it is to regain those early memories as you need to make space for the newer ones especially if you are looking into several timelines at once..." he stated, he personally believed he was going to go insane for the entirely opposite reason of not being able to get rid of memories and so his brain would get overwhelmed "The second is the fact he is in your body not his own. It stands to reason that not every person will survive a daemonic pact, it also stands that some have a higher resistance to those urges than others. I believe his body might have had higher resistances to the daemonic energies, so he remained himself for so long compared to the other two who were changed shortly afterwards." he finished "But as I do not know a lot about such matters I can only theorize on the matter." he brought his hand down now.
The ice mage was speechless that they thought they could put an end to devils "I am younger now than you were back then and even I can tell you that is a foolish endeavour especially since you believed they couldn't enter this plain of existence. Were you planning to go to their realm to deal with them because that's just plain suicidal." he was in complete disbelief, he could understand the innocent way of thinking but it just made him lose hope in humanity a little bit more. 'And he was the wizard king...' he thought to himself 'Don't give him too hard of a time, they were doing what they thought was the correct thing, even if misguided.' Amostia sent back to his partner. 'I... I know but..' he began to send back 'It's harder for you to understand the illogical because you're hardwired to be logical.' the bird sent back making him nod.
"I apologise for my outburst." he was sincere when he spoke "I may not truly understand illogical or emotional thinking but I do understand that you and he were doing your best to keep the things you held dear safe with the knowledge you had back then." his voice was humble as he spoke to the man. He listened and went over everything else that was being said dissecting it. "How did the devils know what you were doing? Surely they would have believed Asmodeus dead after destroying his form." he was confused over the matter and it showed. "Agents? As in individuals or an actual army?" he had to admit both had merits to them. The latter would give better chances of a fatal hit landing but the former gave more chance of a surprise attack happening.
In his mind, though they both would have been doomed to fail as Asmodus could see the flow of timelines and would see it coming, but then, he hadn't expected Ard or Zaven to be there. "How is it that Asmodeus was surprised to see the two captains if he can see multiple timelines at once? Was it an anomaly?" he would ask the other. "Had he already started his descent at this time or was it after he used the lost spell? There's also the fact that spell wasn't so much lost but handed to him as a catalyst." he suggested. "I know it makes no sense, but, hear me out they could use a former hero to destroy everything then all that would exist is them within their realm they could then restart things the way they wished and be seen as gods to the new world." he knew it was a long shot but again everyone wanted to be seen a certain way.
"I think you are speaking to the more social among us in that regard sir, I could quite happily become a hermit inside my library." he was showing no signs of lying, he was social because he was expected to be not because he wanted to be. He knew in time that might change but he wasn't exactly banking on it as he stopped reaching out for human connection when he was just a toddler. "I keep humanity at arm's length yet am anchored by it." it was true even his own family whom he had since he was six years old knew a lot about him, the closet person these days would be his nanny Winter who took care of his health and other needs when required. "I understand that this way of living wouldn't be seen as ideal to most if they knew but it works for me and helps me protect what I hold dear." his voice calm.
"I am guessing you are unable to get him to see sense anymore." he couldn't imagine the pain that the second wizard king was going through because it wasn't like he could touch him physically to shake, restrain or walk away from his friend as they shared a body. "The damage the devils have done? Would you care to elaborate on this?" he now had a suspicion that the kingdom had a secret archive that very few were ever allowed to set their eyes on and so wondered just how many skeletons the kingdom had in that forbidden unknown closet. His eyes went to Ard for a moment who was looking as he did when he had just joined the squad "I was starting to like you with white hair Captain." he said bringing up his hand to make a thick piece of ice that would be able to be used as a poor man's mirror so he could see himself.
He walked over seeing Ard's body language and hit him gently with the block of ice "Stop overthinking it, I assure you it's not as fun as it might seem." he said with a smile before handing him the ice so he could see how he had changed. "May I ask you the question I was going to ask Asmodeus? I will understand if you say no or if you are unable to answer." he would as the man, if he refused then the ice mage wouldn't push the matter, if he did agree he would be met with his question. "Why do I keep getting flashes of situations in the past or situations that are ongoing but I've never been it? How is it I know things I should have no way of knowing?" he was calm but his undertone was evident he was distressed on this matter.
He pointed to the three brothers. "I spoke daemonic to both Lucifer and Mamon not so long ago but I shouldn't know that language. I've never come across texts with the language and even if I had I shouldn't know how it sounds it's not like daemons are about to sit down and give people language lessons." Inside there was concern for the answer that might come. Regardless of the outcome, he moved into his sleeve eventually and brought out a small sapphire blue bottle breaking its seal he drank its contents before putting the bottle away. 'Still feeling the strain?' Amostia would ask 'Well it's not like my body gets over things quickly even with healing magic.' he sent back to the bird who had taken to sitting on the ice mage's head at that point. "So what should we do now, it's not like we can sit in here for the rest of eternity." he said looking at Ard.
He then looked at the three daemons "Are you going to help us put an end to this or are we still going to have to fight? The former allows you to live long lives how you wish and maybe get those lost memories back, the latter is just plain bothersome to everyone involved and will end up with us being hurt and you being dead. I personally would prefer the former." he said moving to them.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] With Zaven having to help like he has been he had not put forward what was on his brain. The constant moves and once again the attacks performed and the strength and teamwork that he was used to doing so, in that admittance this made him give his thoughts even more time before he was finally brought back as he was removed from the teamwork on the last fight as another showed themselves to help them. With it all happening between Ardere and Hania as well as what was going back on with the others as well. They had moved to a time and place that was explained and they all needed to come to a recuperating area. Here he was able twatch how everything was going down. Ardere and how Hania and the others spoke and moved to his speech did not upset or cause him to ultimately step forward and speak. No, instead at the moment he was thinking about what to say, and that was due to being here after the current track and trials of the daemons so far. He could go into the time he gave forth for the time when Ard was hurt…the time in the near the witches forest with that black bull girl…even after he was being seen before the mission as someone that is replaceable. He remembered his last captain, and he remembered why he left after being taken down by Zaven himself in a testing fight. Things have come and gone…for a seemingly long time, and he was feeling like the life that he was taking part in RIGHT NOW…was also going through an interesting movement. [break][break]
”Captain Ardere…you stack yourself too much against whatever we are doing, the very fight we have taken…the one where we are all standing with you…this life that keeps pushing us to be better, or to suffer, or to outright win.” That is when Hania spoke as well, and his voice and the way he took the situation made him remember how Silas was and how he saw the magic knight after a break in the one of first missions that they were on together, he also remember how the knight died… Honestly though, how Arere was spoken to at first made him kind of smile in a broad way. At the end of the speaking, he was done thinking and smacked Ardere’s back with not a lot of power…it was simply to gain the moment. ”What he just said to you Ardere, is true…his speech and the moments it took were but a few seconds and I can’t say I feel the same way, but…I do feel there is change to come soon and I am not meaning with you. I mean the ones that actually put up more of a confrontation with bad bastards, instead of just staning like a shield when it comes to…well the ever changing daemons and such that seem to want to destroy us.” Zaven said before he looked to Hania then to the others before he looked at Ardere once more. [break][break]
”With what was already said by him, I stand with what he said. Hell if we die here, I grew up as an assasin that was originally made to kill my own family to put my father as the leader, and eventually it lead to him and my long dead mother to chase each other. It is a rather long story, but I think it CAN be done once we all finish out this long and rather agitating push to stop us. We stand tall as we all make an exit…saving the world that this damn bastard has changed…” When he finished he looked and Hania and the others and offered them a simple handshake. He had not talked much during this unless it was a challenging moment or it was just needed in the moment. He now waited for the further issues and talk that has started to reach its end. [break][break]
To all who are reading and to the GM, and to Hania…this is NOT my last post, I am here to finish my start and because of my issues that I had…I am doing this to legitimately help. Thank you Ard, Tamashi, and thank you to the site. I hope we have a good time and finish.)

[attr="class","zavenstat2"]COMBAT SUMMARY
[break]
[attr="class","zavenreescroll2"] TLDR I used [break][break]
[attr="class","header"]Artorius the Second Wizard King
[break] This place in which we stand, is outside of time. But the effects of Asmodeus' magic have rippled throughout reality. As seen in your Captain here, and in Beelzebub. While Ardere has gone backwards in time, Beelzebub went forward. What that means about his future, I do not know. But nothing is certain, especially not here. Artorius was a pillar of strength, but in this moment he wavered. A sense of worry flushed across his face. His connection with Asmodeus was ever present, yet he still lacked answers to some questions. If only he could reach out and grab them. My old friend may be able to see across timelines, but that does not mean he knows which will come to fruition. If he was surprised by your two Captains arrival, then that means this was one of the less likely futures to occur. He may feel omniscient, but he isn't. Not quite. And I still maintain my connection to him, share his thoughts. But even I do not have all of the answers. Artorius got a good look at Hania, letting out a soft sigh. He was a Wizard King, after all. His duty was to his people. Even here, years past his time, they were his knights. He felt a sense of duty and loyalty to them and a want to help them, not just for his own sake. In fact, he'd long since forsaken himself. [break][break] Even though so few Devils have physically existed in our realm, as I'm sure you know, their influence has spread. Their constant attempts at incursion damaged space-time. These rifts could have been healed by myself and Asmodeus, but he had chosen to exploit them instead. At the tower and even here. I can help reverse the damage he's done, but as his vessel, I cannot destroy him. You will all be tasked with that challenge. And I assure you, a challenge it will be. He is no push over. You have to understand, in our prime, together, there are few souls who could have challenged us. The devils and their minions; Daemon, were forced to engage us before we grew too powerful. They do have an army, yes, but it was a select few who attacked us. And now, I fear Asmodeus has grown too strong. But he is not invincible. I hold a large portion of our power inside myself, and refuse him access to it. With my help, we can beat him. Unfortunately, his madness may aid us. His mental instability will cloud his judgement. No one was meant to see what we've seen, not even an Archdaemon or a Wizard King. I only avoided being destroyed because he took over our physical form. I'm just a spirit and I have been for some time. The former Wizard King smiled and let out a soft breath. Looking at all of their faces, he opened a portal behind himself. That being said. I leave the choice up to you. Though I feel you all have already chosen, especially your Crimson King. [break][break] Before they left, Artorius walked over to the Vice Captain to address his concerns. I'm afraid I don't have all of the answers for you. But time, has a way of changing things. I can sense your Daemonic connection. A past life perhaps? Something similar but far more complex than the others standing over there. The Shattering changed so much. So many beings ceased to exist, while others were born anew. I may hate what he has become and what he has done, but there are thousands who simply wouldn't exist without the Shattering. It's a sad but hopeful thought. When you face my partner, answers will be laid out before you. You may not like them. But know that your existence has value. You were made into this world for a reason. We all were. Cynics may refute that, but they haven't seen what I have, have they? Artorius stood in front of the portal, awaiting the group's answer. [break][break] I'm going with them. Lucifer said to his brethren, staring them down. They knew the answer before he even said it. Lucifer the Prideful. He always had to know the answers. I respect you brother. I think Beelzebub and I are going to find our own path, out there. Beelzebub nodded as both placed hands on their brother's shoulders. We may not be real brethren, but our time here, it is something we value. The other two Daemon stepped to the side as Artorius opened a portal for them to leave through, to find a life somwhere beyond this place. Lucifer turned back to the group, his fist clenched. I still don't have all of my memories back, but I'd like some answers. Just like you. So let me fight with you. I want what he stole from me. Only then can I be free to pursue life again.
