[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania would listen to the archdaemon in front of him asking if he really thought that he would lie to him "If you really want an answer to that question you truly are dumber than you look." he said not missing a beat, his tone was calm and stoic, having Ito's mental stability was truly helpful at current but he knew it was only going to be a temporary thing as he would need to deal with that situation sooner rather than later. He knew that this archdaemon wanted to rewrite the timeline in the misguided hopes of avoiding a terrible fate. Still, in honesty, the Ravencrest had no interest in helping in that. He already knew that he shouldn't be in this timeline, it also meant that the woman he viewed as his sister should still be healthy and alive. It made his heart hurt so much more than before.
Hania and Ito could feel the pressure placed upon their soul, but it didn't read outside of anything but the micro expressions that it was a discomfort. "I'm not interested in being shown, my stance remains the same." he said showing that it wasn't going to sway him, he didn't want to do to billions of people what was done to him. It would seem, however, Asmodeus was going to force this choice on him as he watched the cursed magic get activated "I swear daemons become more and more annoying as time goes on." he said under his breath, he didn't care he was insulting half of himself he was already self-loathing so this made no difference to him. He didn't care if people would be proud or angry with his previous statement it was simply his stance on the matter, he wasn't about to take people's choices away.
Still, he looked around him taking in his surroundings as it was clear Asmodeus wasn't about to take no for an answer. "You realize no is a complete sentence right Asmodeus?" he asked the elder archdaemon as if he was a child. "Do I really need to say it in Daemonic? Pretty sure I can say it in Abysal if you'd prefer that." he said showing he would say it in as many languages as required for the message to get across to him that he wanted nothing with his plan. "I can see that things are still broken but I will be long dead by this point so it matters not to me." he had no idea if he had a longer lifespan thanks to Ito now being awoken in his body but he was going under the assumption he would manage to be separated from the daemon at some point.
He listened as Asmodeus told him that they had no choice, he saw the countless possibilities. It was far too much information for any person to take in never mind someone who would never be able to forget what he saw and so closed his eyes to protect his sanity as much as he could and covered his ears so he couldn't hear. It put him at a disadvantage he knew it but he knew if he fell into insanity he might actually agree to this idea of remaking things. 'Ito... if this keeps going we are going to lose our minds, we need to do something.' he sent to the archdaemon 'Agreed.' A dark shell surrounded the ice mage and started to expand till it eventually touched the time spell nulling it. Hania opened his eyes and lowered his eyes "There is always a choice and this is mine!" he said his voice showing he wouldn't budge at that point.
"It is not right for two people to make the choice for billions, we would be no better than those who forced us. We'd be dictators." he said shaking his head, he refused to walk down that dark path even if it was the easier choice as he could regain some of what was lost. 'What are the chances that what glimpses we saw were true?' he asked his counter part 'There is a chance they could be but it is equally possible that it could be a warped outcome due to his insanity.' Ito returned back 'That's what I thought, we can't take anything at face value.' he thought letting out a silent sigh as he attempted to evaluate the entire situation logically. 'It might be because of the insanity or it could be the truth he believes... the truth that he had when this all started that had changed direction as time flew by.' he thought.
"You are an unreliable narrator Asmodeus." Hania eventually said after a long moment opening his eyes and looked at the elder archdaemon for a moment before moving to the edge of the tower and sitting down looking over the area quietly. 'I hope you know what you are doing because this could go bad very quickly if you have no plan' Ito sent to his counterpart who seemed at peace currently "You want me to agree to your plan, however, I believe your outlook isn't completely truthful..." he said his voice was completely calm which shouldn't be a thing given everything he had been through in such a short time "I want to see the possibilities of what happens if I agree." he said he move his head back so he could see the elder archdaemon a smile on his face.
"That being said, as I don't trust your narrations and there's only one other here that can use your element and that is your counterpart." he said sitting straight soon after "I want Artorius to show me six potential outcomes. The worst, the best and the most probable if I don't help. The worst, the best and the most probable if I do help from this I will make my decision." he said calmly "He can only show me one at a time, it must be two thousand years in the future, it can not involve anyone of my family, bloodline or anyone's I care about and you must not interfere with his spell in any way. If you do you will age that same amount of time and I will jump to my death preventing what you wish from happening at all." he said his tone neutral
"If you can agree to this then let us begin or you could disagree and I will jump here and now." he knew this was a gamble but this would allow him to seem he was at least willing to help him to his end game, he just requested a reliable narrator to help him make the important decision and where Artorius was still on his shit list he was still a better bet than relying on Asmodeus. "Oh, and you must view the same thirty seconds of each and can not tamper with it or again you will age by the same amount of time that has passed and I will jump." he was also hoping that the insane archdaemon would also be able to see the fallacy in what he was doing, if nothing else it would give everyone else the chance to get to the top of the tower.

TL;DR
Elements are fluctuating between Hania's ice and Ito's light/dark
Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Light Class & Type: Relic ¦ Accessory (bracelet) Magic Specializations: Physical Reinforcement ¦ Healing Appearance & Lore: A simple bracelet made out of reinforced glass with an opalite charm dangling from it almost like a pendulum, that gives off a dull light during the day and a bright light during the night preventing any natural shadow from forming.
There is nothing of major historical importance or deep story into where this item came from. The white-haired heir of the Ravencrest family has suffered from terrible day and night terrors since he was young and still does to this day. When asked what is wrong he brushes it off telling people not to worry it was a condition he had. He will never go into the terrible things he sees, in fact, he personally wishes he could forget he quickly realized that his perfect memory was a double edge sword and at times he truly wished he didn't have it.
His elder sister Lydia was the first to realize that it happened more when he was in an emotional state or surrounded by darkness. She also realized that he refused to sleep unless every light source he could find was active or he would sleep outside under the sun during the day, this wasn't optimal as he was to be trained to take over the family if anything were to happen to Lydia. Still, there wasn't much anyone could think to do to help him as he refused to open up but even if they could that came with a different set of hurdles they had to get over. Hania earlier in his life wouldn't take things from people due to his treatment before being adopted.
It took a while but Lydia finally found a way to help her younger brother, she had a crystal made with light inside and told him to use it when he sleeps. She said it was hers and she just wanted to see if it would help. He was reluctant but she said it only had to be a few days so he accepted. Throughout those few days, he slept somewhat peacefully so it was clear that it helped but not enough, she could only guess that the light wasn't strong enough. She realized this would be fine for a normal child afraid of the dark but it was clear to the pink-haired woman that this wasn't a normal situation.
She personally designed what she believed would help him the most, she chose the materials, their appearance even the opalite that dangles from it. As the bracelet was being made she slowly started to imbue her own element into the glass beads and the opalite as the former was created and the latter was shaped. It took close to a year to complete but Lydia seen it as something that should be done slow and steady, this was to make sure that it was done right the first time and that no matter what it would be near indestructible for whatever he may face in life.
On what is now classed as Hania's eighth birthday after a certain incident happened, she gave him a box, and within it laid the bracelet. He was told to keep it with him always as she would be there to keep the darkness at bay and watching over him so he could be at peace while he rested. From that moment he has always kept it with him even if he hasn't always worn it.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] The three that were not only ready to move in through the tower faster in this circumstance, but in order to do such a thing. They had to be mentally prepared and ready to see to an end to this chaos that was moving through this tower that Zaven was unprepared for, yet he still moved with those that were with him. Ultimately it just seemed ever so at a mysteriou coming of the end that it reminded him of times growing up, in conjunction with almost all the good and evil that he had come to just realize while here. There was no depth of a smile or a fallback of his lips, for those that COULD see though, it was even a incident of a book that he had read and remembered before then; Breathing about a bit slower as if staring through the air of a chaotic and evil ocean. Overall the thoughst were very deep and rather just how Zaven felt about it…chaotic. It was quite the unstable view as Zaven, Nero, and Lucifer did not just glance at the scene that they were in now. That was when he was met with the view of a rather particular past. ”That is…Wolfe…” His eyes went red as he was drawn to an absolute thought of falling into a motion or a rather grey looking area of time filled instead of the usual water filled river. The feeling made him shake that was caught by his two allies and the progression started right then and there. He gripped himself and he breathed heavily as this progressed as it did. He was wanting to lash out and give a devastating attack…What would happen next. [break][break]
However before he just went in like he was equipped with a rather dark thought and to go forth as a frontman to grab ahold of the moment. The ever changing grasp at the destruction of mind, body, and souls filled him and he was breathing heavily in show. Overall it just reminded Zaven of THE reocurring daemon movement that was still very open and happening now. As the three were there, the absolute more active push was dropped lower and it was to show that in THIS push, it was made to ensure that the daemons won this battle, took out who was here and started in on their takeover even more. However that was when the particular voice of Nero and then Lucifer spoke in turn…his allies even in their status were showing that they were even more active and ready to step up just as they had before coming to this VERY spot. ”Gods…Gods be damned…” He flinched as he could now feel the energy of his friend, he was growing very split. However, with how he was raised and up until this point…gods be damned he needed to do more like the allies that he had, and worry more about the death of those around him. [break][break]
The three that were there ultimately, Ardere, Hania, and Zaven who all progressed on their own paths even now…it was a movement of the past, present and future. If this was to ultimately continue the answer for the connection was very disheartening and full of blood and wild acts. The push here to the first floor was done, and the golem was causing a great deal of inflammation of his mana even still after it was given to him free. He ended the golem as he could not bare with how it drained him now as their arrival signified quite a bit. Then a section of old thoughts and a break to a piece of memory that reminded Zaven of a time that he had changed many moons behind homemade him breathe hard and nearly fall back as it all became hard to continue. Inside the memory…was Silas, the fights that came up next, the defensive barrier that he created with blood and action. How he acted when he arrived, but now that was driven away as the three had to make their move NOW. Zaven wanted to curse and be more just…dumb, but even with the defensive like, but action ready stances that they took Zaven knew his answer. ”I am going to rage and save Ardere’ ass and then I am coming back to help you both, then finally make sure that Hania is taken care of in this shit…THAT is a promise, so DO NOT FUCKING GIVE IN OR GIVE UP! I trust you more than even my family that has He said before taking a breath as he waited for the attacks to start so he could make his move to get going as fast as possible. Yet he still took a fighting stance and breathed deeply.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll2"] TLDR I tried my best here, Thank you all, it felt like I was writing in an OLD way, but I am hoping I did and it was followable. Feel free to dm or tag me if I did mess up..
[break] Ardere, Hania, and Artorius: [break][break] No one is a reliable narrator, darling. We're all secondary characters to the main show. This is all a farce. So few in this world can defy Fate. Asmodeus let out a soft sigh. His skin was shimmering as the temporal aura that emanated from his figure only grew stronger with each passing moment, as if he were approaching some sort of apex of power. Your Captain is one of those few. And he will thrash out with all of his power in efforts to stop me. He might succeed. He might. But no one, Hania, no one can defy Destiny. Except you. The Constant. Gathering all of the images projected around them into one singular point, Asmodeus held what looked like a universe in his palm. While he was nowhere near that powerful, it was a powerful image to portray to the Daemon and the Man. Two who had become one. [break][break] But you may yet get your wish, as Artorius should be returning momentarily. Thanks to the efforts of your friend. That being said, I will abide by your wishes. However, if you come to the same or even a similar conclusion to what I came to, then we shall have a very serious discussion. Sound fair? He seemed so reasonable, at the time. But the truth was, Asmodeus' mind was shattered beyond repair. Artorius knew this. He'd wept over it. The man he'd been so close to was so far away, lost to Time itself. As the duo approached, he knew their only course of action and what it would cost. [break][break] The former Wizard King looked at Ardere, and in his blazing eyes; he saw hope even if only for a fraction of a second. This was no ordinary Captain he was gazing on. The strength, the passion, it reminded him of himself a long, long time ago. He'd spent enough time dwelling on the future the three mages would bring. It was time to fight for it. What good was Hope if it did not pierce the shadows and darkness that sought to destroy them? What good was Hope if it didn't burn all of the sadness away? What good is Hope if you don't stand up and fight with it? [break][break] While we wait for them, care for a game of Chess? A Chess board atop an obsidian table appeared before them, adorned with two matching stained glass chairs, emboldened with bronze legs that twirled down to form trees at their base. The Chess board itself was an odd reflection of their current situation, Asmodeus being his own King piece and his children being all of the power pieces. Hania was his own King, with Ardere as his effective Queen piece, Lucifer as the Bishops, Nero as the Rooks, and Zaven as the Knights. Sit, won't you? Taking a seat, the aura emanating from Asmodeus seemed to imply that the duo did not have much of a choice in the matter. Behind his poisoned words, they would feel consequences. I'll start. Moving his far left pawn upward two spaces, his devilish smile and rancid breath were threatening, almost. [break][break] A floor below them, Asmodeus and Hania/Ito could feel the ground rumble, almost as if the moved piece began to enact some form of action. He'd be able to feel his Captain's mana now. Ardere and Artorius began to fell Daemon one after the other. Something stepped forward to them, a fel Daemon with fel mana, not out of the ordinary, but this darkness was different--fouler. A former servant of Beelzebub, encased in pestilence and rot, charging forth onto them. It was not much stronger than a Grand ranked Daemon, yet somehow it felt more threatening. Watch out Ardere. This one is different! It was different, for if Ardere struck it, poison would explode all over the Captain, the kind of poison that even he did not want to inhale. [break][break] Well? Asmodeus asked, the Chess board being the only thing between them. [break][break] Zaven, Nero, and Lucifer: [break][break] Nero and Lucifer engaged with the Shadow Wolfe, the temporal anomaly. Void, Darkness, and red Lightning scattered across the area. Zaven could feel it as he moved forward. Nero smiled at his words, a true smile, not hollow or fake. Of course, Zaven. But you got get him first. Lucifer sent his pale rider forth and the clash began to shatter the ground beneath them, until the Golden Dawn Captain could only feel rumbling beneath his feet. [break][break] Between where Zaven stood and Ardere/Artorius fought was an empty void. There was nothing on the next floor, if this was even a floor at all. Only echoes lived here, ghosts of the past. They clawed and screamed, urging to enter the physical world. Where exactly was he? [break][break] Beyond the tortured souls of the past and emblazoned souls of the future, was the present. Thousands of them were shouting to Zaven now, but not in anguish, no, in support. Zaven! Zavem! They shouted, urged, screamed for him to keep moving. This Temporaly Anomaly in its own right was attempting to aid him, to propel him forward. He'd entered a sort of wormhole that would launch him straight to Ardere and Artorius. He only needed to keep pressing forward. The hopes and dreams of every Golden Dawn Knight was on his back now, behind his fight, pushing him on. What would he do in such a display of emotion? How would he react? [break][break] Amidst the stars that swirled around him, he could see hundreds of realities. These weren't memories, they were dreams. Hope. And at the end of this long tunnel, he'd see a friend.
I've always been the Dragon[break][break] and the[break][break] King.[break][break]

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] Ardere and Artorius stood back to back, sword and claw biting at any enemy that dare approach them. Gods save any Daemon that they approached themselves. Their onslaught was vicious, shattering stone and rumbling the floor in which they stood. Hope is a flame that will burn all of this darkness away. Dashing forward, he would leave bodies in his wake as his Dragonic form shredded through them. My father would have loved to see us like this. He named his spells after yours, and I in turn did the same. The King's Arsenal, passed down across generations now. His father, an immigrant from the Land of the Rising Sun, enthralled in the history of the Knights and Kings of the Clover Kingdom. Ardere could remember it like it was yesterday, sitting in his father's lap, listening to stories about past Wizard Kings and Knight Captains. [break][break] This wasn't some story anymore. This was real life. This was their fight. They were fighting for their reality, their timeline. So much was at stake. [break][break] Hmm? Ardere turned around as Artorius called out to him. Staring down at the Daemon walking toward him, the sickening aura and ki around it was enough to make him hurl. Rather than strike out at it, his insctincts told him to keep his distance. So he summoned forth Siegfried and slashed it, watching as poison nearly engulfed him. This wasn't the only one, was it? He could tell. There were others just like it approaching, as if an army was being controlled to approach them. Not one of them seemed to have a will of their own. They were like puppets with strings attached, moving at their master's behest. Keep moving towards the large part of the Castle, Artorius. I have a feeling we are going to be pressed in a moment. Just what was going on above them? Something strange was amiss, but he could not place a finger on it. [break][break] His mind wandered to Zaven and the others, hoping they were safe. He could feel nothing behind him, a strange amount of nothing, actually. Was there even a floor behind him anymore? This whole place was strange and wicked, controlled by Time magic. Salamander... Calling out to his ally, he could feel the Dragon rumbling again as he took physical form on his shoulder. We're starting to lose sense of ourselves, aren't we? The spirit disappeared for a moment, back into his dragonic form. They were almost complete. Almost. Soon, Salamander wouldn't even be able to leave Ardere's body as the crux of their fusion was achieved. There was only one more step, and he was saving it for Asmodeus. You're not gonna stop me from getting up there, you bastard. I'm coming whether you like it or not. Keep sending your pawns.

[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania turned his eyes to Asmodeus "Speak for yourself." he said turning his eyes over the world the tower lorded over "When you have a memory like mine and his you are a reliable narrator, now whether we decide to be one is a completely different argument." he informed the daemon lord "And don't call me darling, it makes me feel like I need to take a bath in Salamader's flames." he sighed looking to his blood-stained clothing "Speaking of which I truly do need one." he was beyond frustrated that Leviathan had used blood rain staining clothing but it wasn't exactly something that he could deal with at current. "We are all secondary characters to another's play but the main character in our own, it is not a farce it is just the reality of things." he said looking to the ground "Also, I do not believe in fate." he said, the ice mage was a man of faith not chance.
"I can not speak of my captain's capability in such a thing as again I do not believe in fate." he continued to gaze out over the world "I do believe if he wants to stop you, he will because he's as stubborn as an ox with the temper of a raging volcano at times." he covered his mouth yawning "I also don't believe in destiny but the constant thing..." he paused his eyes closing "there is some truth to that... I am a constant curse to those I come across, a harbinger of death." he said his tone showing this was his true belief about his person, it was true that he had yet to bring his family to ruin but he had guidance as he grew and knew the expectations that had been placed upon him when he was adopted.
"Well it's not so much a wish, it either happens or you don't get my help at all." it was clear he wouldn't waver on his stance, he wasn't stupid in the slightest, he was cunning and calculating so without the data he requested there was no way he would act. "Wait... when did I get friends?" he looked over his shoulder, it was clear this was an actual question as the ice mage kept everyone at arm's length even those within his family. It had always been unknown why he had done this but there had been speculation it mostly revolved around his element and attempting to live up to his family's expectations. He listened as Asmodeus spoke a little more, he was content that he would abide by the ice mage's wishes but gave his own stipulation "It seems only fair given my terms." his eyes moved back to the world outside the tower.
The ice mage noted how the archdaemon seemed reasonable but going by what Artorius had said there were more cracks than sanity left within the one behind him so he knew he would need to tread carefully. "I do have two questions and I trust you will answer them truthfully." he said truly taking everything the man said with a huge helping of salt but he wanted to know what Asmodeus would answer. "What happens if you are killed? And what would it mean Artorius's spirit would linger here in the tower after you perish or would it too be snuffed out?" he would ask, he knew it sounded like an odd set of questions would ask but he believed Asmodeus would indeed be killed but he knew that the pair were two separate beings so wondered if the other would survive and if they did what would it mean Artorius's spirit would linger within the tower like a guardian.
He looked over his shoulder as Asmodeus proposed a game of chess while they waited for the group to reach them. "Although I can play chess, I do find it more than a little dull." he said showing he wasn't at all interested in what was being offered. He did watch as a table, two chairs and a chessboard was set up "Do daemons copy each other? I mean one of the group sent to deal with Aamon had to play a game of chess with him. Though to tell the truth I was surprised he had enough brain cells to even play tic-tac-toe let a lone chess." he said, he knew that the man was a master at weaponry and fighting but he found most of the time those who concentrated on physical things primarily didn't do the same mentally.
"You can start but I won't be playing." his hands moved to be flat on the ground beside him 'Are you really going to refuse him?' Ito would send to him 'I already have' he would send back 'But there are going to be consequences you realize this right?' the daemon would comment 'He's strong that much I can't argue but the power balance is currently in my favour.' he said to his counterpart 'How did you come to this conclusion?' he would ask 'Asmodeus needs me, I don't need him.' he sent back leaning forward looking just how far up he was 'Without Amostia I can no longer fly so I could easily fall to my death.' he sent back to Ito who was shocked at what he was hearing.
'You realize there are two of us here now right?' he commented 'No, there's one of us here and I would readily kill myself before letting you take me over.' the daemon could tell he wasn't bluffing 'You realize I can fly in a sense.' he sent back 'I knew it was a possibility but I also haven't bonded with you so unless you force it thus harming us both then I don't have to worry about that and I know you won't do foolish actions because you and I are more or less the same in that respect.' he knew that Ito didn't have anything to counter with that argument. He did note that the floor rumbled and turned his head to see that Asmodeus had made his move. "So actions on the board do things within the tower, good to know." he said with a smile "Lets see how constant I am shall we?" he said creating a spike of ice in both hands.
"I'll keep my word when Artorius is here, I'll look through the prominent nine time lines and give my answer, if I come to the same conclusion as yourself then we will have a more serious talk, however, it doesn't sit well with me being up here when others are fighting down there. I'll be back when Artorius is here." with that he moved his entire body forward and moved off the edge piercing the brick with the ice as he started his descent towards where Ard was, but it would be a rough ride down. 'Didn't truly think this one through did you?' Ito sent to him 'I did, it's why I took the time to have my hands flat on the ground covering it with ice, it also helped that when Asmodeus moved his chess piece I could feel my captain without the use of a map spell.' he said wincing, it was going to be something else he was nagged for but at least he could help.
Eventually, he started to slow but he missed his mark by a few feet so started to use the spikes as a way to climb, eventually getting to the window. He'd manoeuvre himself over to the window sill "A little help would be appreciated captain, it wasn't the easiest decent." he called out to the fire mage as he started to pull himself up. "Before you say anything he wanted to play chess and I find the game boring." he said faintly smiling. The ice mage kept to himself but the fire mage would know by now that his strategy game of choice was go closely followed by shogi as both were more complex, harder to cheat with and could tell you more about your opponent without words.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] The movement happened before he could really…finish his words, but that was not the last thing that he had heard.was that he needed to make the move to get to Ardere and finish this first. In his head he heard, “Quit fucking talking and get your ass to where it needs to be.” Then as the ground shattered under him he was dropped, and as he was he did his best to feel around mentally, but at the same time he prepared to land. When he did seemingly meet the floor, or what it COULD be seen as such, he breathed in deeply and looked around, he did this to ensure that he could see it all. Before things came into view properly, the sounds of past beings…monsters…things that could just outright be given a name came at him with a giant sounding anger that would make a person’s heart just be punished. It really felt as if they were mad for Zaven being alive…as if they were the past that lived among the world, then their strikes against him, along with the sounds of those that have died. Things that took him to an edge were the sounds of children from a time that he saw as a more modern set…or from the scene of the past. Their words that hit his ears were different as were their motions when compared to the see through beings…ghosts that he did not outright just pull away, it was . The pushes of it all honestly made him start looking around. Then there were still some moments where the claws that struck at him continued which was leading to some very ill thought and he wanted to just strike back as if he was a man that was led there to destroy those that wanted to create an issue among the kingdom or more importantly…the world. [break][break]
As his mind and body was struck, the sounds of those wanting him to either give up his body, his mind, his soul…or all three there was also the sound of the children and transforming older views he could hear and see that spoke and cheered for him. Calling out his name, calling him out to keep moving. As he heard those words though he began to breathe even more aggressively as the Spirit that was with him, Hraban slapped his face and then the voice was heard. “Calm your Golden ass down Zaven, this is something more in my…world of living, but seen in magic driven and living worlds in great issues to test those that need it or worse.” Hraban then waited as he used his own power that caused him to fall to the left shoulder of Zaven, which made Zaven shake his head before he looked to the left and saw a…well a view that could truly help him…so he continued in that direction that the voices were seemingly push him towards. He then began to move even faster as he came to more of a clear head, even as his memories began to push through to either side of him. The voices began to become even more…noticeable. As if he was being pushed by…The Golden Dawn. He began to weep for a moment but still he did not stop even if this rare and essentially soul fighting are was trying to make him devoid of his actions, to cause issues, and ultimately to make him be taken over as if he was just a pawn on a game that he played in the world that WAS NOT here. That is when the voices sounded behind him as there was a more vivid view of his old times, the memories that made him feel pain, and then stars…the stars however made him visualize…real things, real people, and real…life issues. Then they became more filled with strength, Hraban was stronger, more happy, as he saw his time as a Captain was gone and he did not allow the fall of his mother or father destroy him. Even still he looked forward and saw…a view of someone he had to convince himself now…that he was not who he wanted to be, yet…he saw his best friend, someone with a Golden Mantle, waiting to exchange words, and perhaps…to actually play a game of…Chess, and still in that moment he pushed his legs even further and harder. He wanted this to happen, he wanted to move forward with his life. [break][break]
He…was looking for a vital way to move out of the shell he had considerably…told his mind and body and others, that he was in. ”Just wait, I will be there as soon as I am finished with these…these…demons.” He said this in a way that was actually sounding the way he wanted it to.

[break]
[attr="class","zavenreescroll2"] TLDR I tried my best here, Thank you all, it felt like I was writing in an OLD way, but I am hoping I did and it was followable. Feel free to dm or tag me if I did mess up..
[break] To Hania Only: [break][break] You should. Asmodeus whispered in response to Hania's denial of Fate. So cold. So calculated. What a truly ironic jab of the universe to make the Constant someone with such a mindset. Asmodeus wish he could say he was surprised, but so little actually surprised him these days. These days, he had almost nothing to look forward to but his singular goal; resetting everything. Imprisoned by a million realities, strangled by endless timelines, he felt as if he could barely move at times. The impetuous weight of the universe came baring down upon him now, and he would not falter. Not even in the face of such foes as those who stood below him. [break][break] I know what it's like...to live a cursed existence. To cause pain to everyone and everything you love. For a moment, just a moment, a shred of humanity was visible in the Archdaemon's eyes. But only for a moment. His humanity was fleeting, much like the stability of this realm. To answer your first question; to truly kill me, you'd have to destroy this vessel in its entirety, down to the last atom. My regenerative capabilities are beyond any other Daemon's, especially now. Though, destroying this vessel would release Artorius' soul from this realm. He'd be able to wander to whatever afterlife has been chosen, or stay here if he so wished. We are intrinsically linked after all. Much like you and Ito. Sharing a body. However, it would not stop the Tower. That is a problem your friends would have to come up with a solution for on their own. Simply killing me is not enough. Though I'm sure Artorius has had plenty of time to think on it, all these years. Asmodeus let out a soft sigh as the Tower continued to rumble, back and forth like a small earthquake was happening down below. This game isn't over. Moving his knight piece ahead of the pawns, Asmodeus set in motion a series of events to hamper those below him. What would they do? [break][break] I just like a bit of dramatic irony. A devilish smirk appeared across Asmodeu's pale, cracked lips. He did not move from his spot in the chair when Hania made his move. He could have easily stopped the ice mage's descent, but it was more interesting this way. He was curious to see where this would go. Being unable to see Hania's future actions was exciting, the first bit of excitement he'd experience in quite some time. So he'd let it play out. There was still some time until the requiem, after all. [break][break] Ardere, Artorius, and Hania: [break][break] The former Wizard King and Crimson Lion fought their way through a horde of Daemon seeking to destroy them. Poison engulfed the area, prompting Artorius to surround the two in time magic seals. Rewind! Utilizing defensive time magic, the mage dispersed the poison around them. For the first time in a long time, he could fight back. He'd almost forgotten what it was like to actually be able to help. So long he'd been a prisoner in his own body, or some moaning spirit locked in a castle he couldn't leave. Let's go. Artorius stopped dead in his tracks. Wait. Something's wrong. [break][break] Something was happening above them. For a moment, the time mage couldn't feel Hania above them anymore. The attacks did not cease or relent, but something had changed. Uhh...Ardere? Artorius pointed to the window sill, as they spotted a pair of hands clinging to them and a familiar voice calling out to them. It was Hania. What happened up there? Did they jump from the top of the Tower? He did not know, nor did he question it. They had bigger problems, for something quite large was approaching them from the castle-like structure they had been moving towards. We've got a problem here. From beyond the rubble was a golem, forged of suits of armor from a thousand knights, rubble from a dozen castles, and the screaming souls of an army. This was no Daemon. Asmodeus had unleashed some sort of guardian upon them. It was at least a dozen meters tall, a hulking gargantuan of a foe. [break][break] They were in for quite the fight. [break][break] Zaven alone: [break][break] Zaven was seemingly trapped in a world of memories and alternate realities, lost in a cacophony of voices. But there was one, a singular voice calling out to him. Arthurius. The former Golden Dawn Captain before him, silencing the other voices, grabbing his hand in a sea of darkness, in an endless void to pluck him from this ocean of timelines into the world he'd been fighting in. To his friends. He couldn't make out Arthurius' words, but they would remind him of a time, a time when he was young and naive, when he and Ardere dove so desperately into fights bigger than themselves. They still were. They still were. [break][break] After fighting his demons, he'd fight a light at the end of the tunnel, not just a candle to light his way; an exit. Beyond this exit was a kingdom of rubble, full of Daemon and monsters fighting one another and his friends. Ardere and Atorius were shining bright enough to be seen from the other side of the floor, as the Crimson Lion Captain encountered his Vice. [break][break] They were together again. Finally on the same floor. [break][break] Zaven would not have much time to react as a Grand level Daemon with sharp claws and drooling fangs attempting to strike him. He could only hope that Nero and Lucifer were okay behind him. He had a fight ahead of himself to focus on now. What would he do? How would his strength be emboldened or hampered by what he saw?
I've always been the Dragon[break][break] and the[break][break] King.[break][break]

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] Ripping a Daemon to shreds with his sharp claws and flames, Ardere kicked the ashen remains to the ground. Swords swirled around him like a defensive barrier to protect him from the poisoned Daemon. Even in this form, with this power, he would not falter to such a poison. His only options were to disperse the weaker ones with his claws, and restrain himself from engaging in the venomous ones, letting his swords do the work. It was frustrating, having to watch his every move. Though he had to admit, fighting alongside Artorius was a surreal experience in and of itself. How he wished his father was here. How he wished Silas was. [break][break] But they weren't. Nor was Lydia. Nor Wolfe. He was the last bastion alongside his friends, of those that remember the before. Plagued by memories of a previous world, he was not alone in his pain, but he did feel it at times. Then he looked over to the golden sun shining near him, and he felt his faith rekindled. They would make it to the castle. They'd make it to Hania. Then, he could finally confront Asmodeus after all these years, after all this pain. We're almost there, Salamander. To our justice. Would the pain finally stop after he won? Probably not. It likely never would. But he could make a difference, a real one this time. [break][break] Stopping in his tracks as Artorius called out to him, Ardere turned to look at the window. He felt a familiar Ki. Hania. Hania! Dashing over with his increased speed, his dragonic form allowed him to throw himself from rubble to rubble, leaping like some sort of animal at an unimaginable speed. His appearance would be jolting to a normal person, but he had a feeling it wouldn't phase Hania, even if he'd never seen it before. Reaching out his clawed hand, he yanked the Vice Captain through the window and into the fray. I know. You prefer Shogi. Chuckling for a moment, his almost fatherly instincts kicked in. What the hell happened? Did you jump from the roof? You're not hurt, are you? Checking the young man for wounds, he instinctively kicked a Daemon that attempted to attack them, tossing it across the room with ease. [break][break] Looks like we've got a problem. After giving Hania a moment to respond, the dragonic Captain turned around to look at their would-be attack. Forged of swords and rubble, this was most certainly one of the larger enemies he'd countered. It would fall all the same. Taking a deep breath, steam emitted from the Divine Dragon's maw. His tail flipped back and forth as Salamander rumbled inside him. Zaven. Turning to see the Golden Dawn Captain across the room, he smiled. The gang was back together, but where were Nero and Lucifer? They hadn't fallen, had they? His heart sank for a moment, before a growl came from his throat. He didn't have must time to question it as this monolithic foe barreled towards them. Alright. If it's a fight Asmodeus wants, it's a fight he'll get. You can catch me up to speed as we move, Hania. Though I fear, the solution may not be one I can solve with my fists alone... Nodding to the Vice Captain, he was curious to hear what he had to say. After all, much had changed since their last meeting. He could smell it on him, feel it in his Ki. It reminded him of a fight he and Zaven had taken part in, a time ago. It reminded him of Kikka. The flames. The shadows. He had to be sensitive of how Hania would feel towards Artorius, even if they needed him to win. Dammit. Nothing was ever so simple. Not anymore. Not in this world.
[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania had heard Asmodeus's whispered voice on the matter that he should believe in fate, the ice mage was a spiritual man and followed the traditions of his homeland religiously but he refused to believe in fate as it meant that a person had no true free will. It was one of the few things he would defy to his final breath. It would mean that the woman who perished to show him that the world was more than darkness had been forced to do it and so her death was meaningless in the grand scheme of things. This was something that he simply couldn't accept, he felt so much guilt over her death and wouldn't have it be minimised because of some worthless crazed daemon who he would kill with his own hands because of the suffering he had caused him with this one death.
"You honestly don't want to go down that avenue with me, because I will end you here and now." his voice was far colder than it ever had been, it was clearly a subject no one should ever broach with the man. "Your shattering caused my existence and so signed the death warrant of the one I held most precious" his hand had gripped the floor so hard it cracked the stone, he was struggling to keep his temper in check but he remained level-headed; if anyone knew just how his memory was they would see it as a gift, and Hania at times viewed it in the same light, however, more often than not he viewed it for the curse it was. Every misfortune, every pain, every death was as vivid as the moment that it happened and would never fade or ebb. He wondered if people would still see it as a gift if they had to live with that.
He relaxed his hand listening to the information being given to him, he had every intention of destroying that vessel and both entities that had cursed and destroyed his life. He didn't care if it meant that it would be the end of his life or if the entirety of Clover would feel the shockwaves. "Regeneration can be slowed to a halt given the right circumstances." he commented showing he wasn't overly concerned about that problem. His eyes closed listening to how he put his situation with Atorius as the same as the one he had with Ito "That is nothing alike." he said his voice holding its coldness "What you have is what's called a daemon pact, what I have for lack of a better term is an awakening thanks to you and your other half." he said looking over his shoulder.
"After all, from my understanding, I am Ito's reincarnation so we are one and the same... unlike you who are two separate beings with two separate souls who made a deal and so live in one body." he sighed shaking his head "I would think for your age you would be able to tell the difference, apparently you are as much of an idiot as those I have to deal with on a day to day basis." He was done holding his tongue, he saw no reason not to let his frustration out. "I couldn't care less about this tower, that's someone else's problem." he said his voice calming slightly, he and the group he entered with were told to deal with Asmodeus not a grand mana zone of time and the tower he calls a home.
"If it was over I would be disappointed because then they could have sent any idiot here and I would still be living in confused yet ignorant bliss." He said watching the sky, it was strange to see both the moon and sun in the sky but then again given where he was he guessed it would be more surprising not to see such things. He could feel the rumbling which allowed him to know that something else was going on as he descended down the outside of the tower. He knew that the daemon lord likely believed that he could have stopped him, but he had already confessed the only person that he couldn't really control was the ice mage and this was something that would be no different. He continued to hand from the window sill and began to push up as he called out to his captain for aid. He didn't fight as he was granted the aid to be brought inside.
"Many thanks." he said dusting himself off but sighed realizing that it was hopeless and tore off the outer covering of his hanfu revealing a tighter sleeveless tang top that was ice blue, he moved to tie his grimoire to his right-hand side. "Shogi tells you more about your opponent than chess." he said watching as the elder male fussed over him. "No captain, I decided to use the stairs that were on the outside of the tower." he said looking up at him showing just how silly a question that was. "I wouldn't say I so much jamp off the roof, rather I decided using two ice spikes and descending on the outside would be quicker to meet up with you both." he said honestly "Asmodeus made it easier by wanting me to play chess, I could feel your presence so there was no need for a map spell." he said calmly.
His eyes went to Artorius for a moment, there was hostility towards the man from the ice mage but given everything that he had gone through in such a short time it would be surprising if there wasn't especially since he was the catalyst. He turned his attention back to Ard to answer the questions "So, we had a conversation and I bought time but he is playing chess up there and every time he moves a piece it affects something down here." he explained the situation. "As I said he wanted me to play chess but I wasn't interested in such a boring game and so came down here to help." he finished shaking his head "Physically I am fine, mentally and emotionally no." he said his eyes going back to Artorius so he knew exactly who had caused it. "I think it's about time I told you something about myself captain." he said sighing.
"As you know I have a somewhat good memory..." he glanced away it was obvious he was uncomfortable speaking on such matters "I play down my memory so I seem somewhat normal." he was ashamed to admit it he lowered his head to look at the floor his discomfort growing. He knew this wasn't really the time for it but if he didn't say it now it would never happen. "My memory is perfect. Everything I read, see, hear or experience... it's as clear as the day it happened. I am unable to forget anything." he said looking back up to him not knowing if Ard would understand what it meant but he would clarify for him. "It means every pain I experience, every death I witness or feel... they will... never dim... they will... never fade." It meant the scar from Amostia's death would always be fresh.
"It also means I am a potential high-risk threat to the kingdom." he admitted. It was true that no Ravencrest had ever gone against the kingdom but then no Ravencrest was like him especially now. "As any report, record or weakness I read, hear or see I will always have perfect recollection of it. Which is why Lydia kept it secret and had me do the same. What makes it worse is the other side of me has the same sort of memory... from what I have managed to gather, it was their memories that caused the death of Leviathan he was filled with two hundred and fifty-six years of memories." he informed him. "It's because of those's memories I knew what happened inside of Kikka and why I now have an aversion to the city." he said "I know it makes little difference as, as I said I will be requesting to be discharged from duty given my current... situation." he was more or less a daemon in his mind, it wasn't as though he could fight that truth.
He didn't believe himself fit to be a knight let alone a vice-captain, he viewed himself as dangerous and would fully accept exile from both his family and the kingdom. At this point he would accept his death if it made people feel safe, it was the most logical thing due to the daemon attacks. He prevented his fussing captain from checking him over and looked up at him once more "You are the one injured captain, no need to worry about me." he said watching as an enemy got knocked away from them. "We have several problems, would you care to be more precise?" he would ask looking at what was going on and tilted his head "That isn't a problem, that's an annoyance." his tone back to its normal stoic tone, hearing Ard's voice he looked to the golden dawn captain "Did you get lost?" he inquired.
'There are two people missing' Ito sent to Hania 'Do you really care?' he sent back 'In truth? No. That being said the more hands the easier it will become going forward.' Ito retorted 'Or they could just get in the way, the only person Asmodeus seems to be interested in is me.' he let the daemon know 'I heard everything remember' he stated almost insulted 'I almost wish we didn't' he let his past self know before sighing. "Artorius... what is a constant and why is it important?" he would finally ask the former wizard king, everything else had been made complicated for him he may as well understand this to see if any pieces clicked into place. "I don't believe it is a fight he wants..." he said as he began to run beside his captain. "He called me a constant and requires me to fulfil his plan for the shattering." he admitted.
'Are you sure you want to tell them that? They could kill you.' Ito would ask the ice mage 'And if it was the only way to stop this I would expect them to.' he sent back as he continued running. He bit his inner cheek, he knew his captain was astute due to his training in Ki and so would realize something was off. "So... new confession time..." he said keeping pace "The archdaemon who took over Kikka had two children a daughter called Lilitu and a son called Ito as you know... I am the reincarnation of the son and..." he looked over his shoulder "When Artorius attempted to strengthen me he actually awoke that side and snuffed out Amostia's existence." he informed them as they continued to run.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] As soon as the smaller party was able to cross into the exit that area that they went into he felt the exact feeling that was the one that helped them, memories of the old, how and who was fought. There was even more about the one that came up as the Golden Captain before he took over. He exasperated in a way that made him feel as though that he was not able to see through the push through to end up where he could end up to help Ardere. The shadows that were around made his body feel even more different than it was before. There was a sort of weird wind somehow moving upon where it should not be. As it was at the moment Zaven was blinking and ready to be able to see regularly of what was around him at that exact moment in this new area. After a quick breath and eyes coming to, the area was dark and the quite faulty view showed even more than what he expected. It all then just moved before feeling the ever familiar presence of Ardere, There sat no more time and there was attack. Zaven was barely able to dodge, brushing his arm across his chest to try and defend before his grimoire slid out to pick up the battle. ”Alright then, no real time to take in the area yet there is a daemon asshole to attack. Let me get this over with for the bastards wanting to watch or fight. Envoy of Erebus!” He spoke loudly as the runes formed over his body as he lunged at the bastard even faster before delivering a kick if he absolutely could. [break][break]
As long as he was correct in his movement and attack he still launched himself forward to ensure that he would deliver another attack. This one however would be in physical form as he wanted to punch the bastard in the face. Zaven, the captain of the Golden Dawn was pushed into what he was already used to standing against the deamon because of what he had been going against.. The fight was like a challenge of darkness, with its body showing a look with its eyes glowing red. It snarled at Zaven, its teeth bared and showed that it could outmatch, but Zaven was determined to fight. They fought each other and it seemed that they were close to each other, or at least that was what could be viewed by who was there. He spoke no further, but continued with what he needed until another spell was needed or if he needed to summon yet another spell.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll2"] TLDR Name of Spell: Envoy of Erebus [break] Elemental Type: Shadow [break] Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Physical Reinforcement [break] Range & Speed: Self | 40 m/s [break] Mana Cost: 40 | 20 [break] Stats Effected: Senior Strength Buff | Speed + 10 m/s [break] Applicable Perks: Mana Conservationist [break] Description: [break] Using his own shadow as a medium, shadow steadily creeps over Zaven’s body creating a multitude of runes around his ankles and wrists that are almost so intricate that one would be able to swear that they were tattoos if they didn’t know any better. The true strength of these runes aren’t seen at first as there seems to be no change, this is to lure the enemy into a false sense of security. In truth what is happening is that Zaven’s physical strength and speed have both been increased which is evident as he moves forward. When he does the shadow runes around his wrists and ankles burst forth over his body covering everything but his face making him almost seem as if he is made out of shadow, his clothing also seems to change thanks to the shadow into what can only be described as wispy robes drape over the user.
