[attr="class","ardereescroll"] Years ago, Ardere would have had trouble rationalizing the reality of Asmodeus and his actions. It was his fault that Silas was gone, along with so many others. But he knew what it was like to fail with the best of intentions, to want to succeed so badly that it will drive you to madness. Unfortunately, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Actually doing good--making a difference in this world, sometimes felt impossible. It would be easy to simply fall into despair and give up, but he hadn't, and Asmodeus hadn't either. What did that make them? He'd have to kill a man who once sacrificed everything to save all of them, and still thinks that's what he is doing. In many ways, this act was a merciful one, but that did not mean the Crimson King found any joy in it. He still felt the nearly unbearable weight of Aamon's death on his conscience. [break][break] Once consumed by anxiety and thoughts of failure, Ardere had forsaken this grim reality he'd been thrust into. He'd make his own way. Unfortunately, that meant he had to rely on his allies. With his wounds returning and his newfound strength fading into whatever abyss he'd ripped it from, he had to be careful. Oddly enough, he did not feel any weaker. Flexing his fingers, feeling his tendons retract--strength was still there. Salamander was still there. He didn't need anything else. Conjuring a small flame, he watched as a white blaze burned above his palm. Even time can't change some things. Clenching his fist, he felt pain shoot through his forearm into his shoulders. He took that pain and everything it meant to him and carried it. He'd always carry this pain with him. It was his strength. [break][break] You know my answer. I've gone feet first into Hell before. I may need someone to hold my hand, though. Giving a passing smirk, he looked to the group. Zaven and Hania were strong, probably his most trusted friends these days. He could not have asked for better company. He only hoped he was not leading them to their doom. No. He had to trust in himself, and in the words of his father's idol. The Clover Kingdom still had strength--they still had hope. Not all was lost. Even if it took their King from hundreds of years past to make the difference. As for you, Daemon. Ardere looked into Lucifer's eyes. There was pain, regret, shattered memories. It was like looking into his own prideful eyes. I will accept you as a member of this team. Consider yourself a temporary Knight. He said this knowing damn well that Lucifer would hate it and likely revoke it. But it did not matter. Lucifer was with them whether they liked it or not, and he could perhaps give them an advantage in this fight. Turning back to Hania, he let out a soft breath as they stood just out of the portal's reach. [break][break] I don't know what this form change means for me. I don't know what your memories mean for you. This path that is laying itself out before us....I'm uncertain about many things for the first time. But I am not uncertain in you. We'll fight together. You and I are partners, after all. It's only fitting that us two lions brave this Hellscape. With friends. Using that last term very loosely with Lucifer, he did mean his words. I'm glad I have you with me. I know that's probably too much emotion for you, Hania, but I'm your Captain and you're stuck with me. So deal with it. With a chuckle, he turned to face Nero, he placed a hand on the Wizard King's shoulder. I don't know if I can ask much more from this life of yours. If you wish to find yourself somewhere out in the cosmos like those Daemon, I wouldn't blame you. No one would. With a soft smile, he managed to dissuade the tears forming in his eyes. The emotion here, it was amplified by the mana all around them. Time. So much of it. He could feel his own memories out in the stars, wandering across reality. I'm ready. He always had been, even if he didn't think it so.
[attr="class","haniascroll"]The ice mage remained quiet as Artorius spoke, he assessed everything bit by bit. It was true that they were both in and outside time that much was apparent to even the most oblivious of them. "Things have indeed changed for my captain and Beelzebub but I remain unaffected which has me puzzled." he would admit "Even Leviathan acted oddly towards me..." he recalled "He was willing to allow me to go directly to Asmodeus but I would be expected to leave my allies behind. Had I been any other I may have taken him up on the offer believing that he would take me to where he said he would and attempt for honour and glory." he shook his head a little "I am not so foolish to believe he would have the power to take me to Asmodeus, nor do I believe myself capable of taking out an archdaemon of time on my own." he said thoughtfully.
He couldn't help but rub his face as there was so much information to take in and ironically not enough time to analyze it all before they would need to progress forward but he needed to do his best. "You needn't be worried even if it ends our own lives we will make sure what needs to be done will be." he said calmly noticing just how worried the second Wizard King was. He of course understood that a lot was riding on the small group, he also knew that it couldn't be easy asking this of them as it would end not only his friend but himself. Still, he said it himself, Wizard Kings did what was needed for the kingdom. "I..." he stopped himself and shook his head there was no use thinking on such matters or becoming overly emotional about things.
"Well on the positive side, this all comes down to percentages, however, the negative of that is with an unlikely outcome happening thanks to the captains being here it means he will likely pay more attention to those outcomes more." It wasn't an ideal outcome as they didn't know the percentages on outcomes and it wasn't like any of them had time magic to even get a glimpse. Then again that would be likely to send any of them insane just in different ways. In his mind, the captains would likely lose themselves completely at least for a short while while he would be overloaded with information that he couldn't forget. He came out of his own head as Artorius spoke once more and looked around the area "I wouldn't have guessed that." he said almost sarcastically, he had a low tolerance for the obvious.
His social battery was already drained, he was so over this task and it showed. "Well... they aren't the only ones that damaged space and time... I mean your friend created a shattering in time and reality. I understand he believed he was doing it for the right reasons but it doesn't change what happened nor was it like the devils were making him do it. He caused it on his own due to his time madness." he was sympathetic to the man's plight but it didn't change the outcome that it was Asmodeus that had caused the shattering that had wiped out countless lives and species while creating life that should have never been. "As I said, he has time madness... a sickness of mana and mind, he isn't at fault and without you both working together those rifts likely would never heal so don't be too hard on yourself." he was trying his best to soothe the other.
He closed his eyes "We wouldn't be here if he was a pushover and I'm sure we look forward to the challenge." he had no idea what to expect but it was something that they would deal with together when they got there. "Well like most things that breathe Devils are idiots and their minions more so." she said thoughtfully "How could they not see turning someone with time magic into a daemon was going to eventually come back to bite them?" he said with a sigh he would think that as immortals they would have common sense but just like within his own race he saw that common sense wasn't so common. He just smiled a little as the other said he was strong but not invincible "Even if he was we would still find a way to defeat him." This group really just was that stubborn in his mind.
"You may think so, but that insanity also makes him unstable and unpredictable." he pointed out "This was proven when Lucifer spoke to him about a change in plan and he said that it was part of the plan." His eyes going over to the three daemons briefly wondering just what they had to go through. He also wondered why their memories were stolen and if it was part of what Asmodeus's "children" had to go through, then again it sounded as if he stole them from other archdaemons. "Well, this just gets better and better." he said resisting the urge to rub his temples, but due to all of this information now he was now slightly suspicious, he couldn't help it as a lot of information had been useful but for an archdaemon to fully take over a host without a host perishing... was that even possible?
Hania once again came out of his own head as it seemed as if he was going to get some of the questions answered even if they weren't going to be complete it at least gave him a starting point which was more than what he had at current. He went completely quiet as the man spoke, and his posture completely changed, it would be a lot for anyone to take in but more so for someone like him. "A... as if my life couldn't get any more complex." he whispered to himself as he clenched his fists so tight he drew blood from his palms, he felt as if his world was shattering around him. 'M... My parents were right about me...' he instinctually moved his hand to his birthmark as his eyes closed tears fell 'My... my... si... ster... she...' he shook his head "Why?" his other hand went to his head.
His mind was no longer like the surface of a calm lake, it was more akin to to a turbulent ocean. "Captain, after this assignment I believe it might be best for me to resign not only as vice-captain but from the magic knights." he said not looking at the man, It wasn't common for the ice mage to openly show his emotions or tone but he did both at that moment. They were filled with pain, fear and confusion, he felt like he did when he was still a small child, it was all so vivid for him. He knew he had to push it out and focus on the task at hand, he would need to deal with this baggage later but it likely meant he would withdraw more from the world than he already had. "You are only looking at the life created, what about the deaths caused or doesn't that matter because of the life created?" he asked his tone was muddled, not at all like he usually was.
"I already don't like the answers I've been given and no my existence holds no value for what was lost for it." he knew the woman who had been sacrificed to be his nanny that he thought more like a sister died to show him a world of light and beauty but in doing so it had cost her, her life. His birth was the reason her radiant light had not only been mutilated but snuffed out completely. "Your words give me little solace sir." he didn't even wait to hear what happened next he moved to the portal only stopping hearing Ard's words "I wish I didn't have this memory captain, it would make life so much easier as I could live in intellectual and emptional ignorant bliss." he said walking through the portal. He truly wished he hadn't asked the questions now but he wanted to know what he had been living with for so long and why, he just hadn't expected it to be something like this.

Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Light Class & Type: Relic ¦ Accessory (bracelet) Magic Specializations: Physical Reinforcement ¦ Healing Appearance & Lore: A simple bracelet made out of reinforced glass with an opalite charm dangling from it almost like a pendulum, that gives off a dull light during the day and a bright light during the night preventing any natural shadow from forming.
There is nothing of major historical importance or deep story into where this item came from. The white-haired heir of the Ravencrest family has suffered from terrible day and night terrors since he was young and still does to this day. When asked what is wrong he brushes it off telling people not to worry it was a condition he had. He will never go into the terrible things he sees, in fact, he personally wishes he could forget he quickly realized that his perfect memory was a double edge sword and at times he truly wished he didn't have it.
His elder sister Lydia was the first to realize that it happened more when he was in an emotional state or surrounded by darkness. She also realized that he refused to sleep unless every light source he could find was active or he would sleep outside under the sun during the day, this wasn't optimal as he was to be trained to take over the family if anything were to happen to Lydia. Still, there wasn't much anyone could think to do to help him as he refused to open up but even if they could that came with a different set of hurdles they had to get over. Hania earlier in his life wouldn't take things from people due to his treatment before being adopted.
It took a while but Lydia finally found a way to help her younger brother, she had a crystal made with light inside and told him to use it when he sleeps. She said it was hers and she just wanted to see if it would help. He was reluctant but she said it only had to be a few days so he accepted. Throughout those few days, he slept somewhat peacefully so it was clear that it helped but not enough, she could only guess that the light wasn't strong enough. She realized this would be fine for a normal child afraid of the dark but it was clear to the pink-haired woman that this wasn't a normal situation.
She personally designed what she believed would help him the most, she chose the materials, their appearance even the opalite that dangles from it. As the bracelet was being made she slowly started to imbue her own element into the glass beads and the opalite as the former was created and the latter was shaped. It took close to a year to complete but Lydia seen it as something that should be done slow and steady, this was to make sure that it was done right the first time and that no matter what it would be near indestructible for whatever he may face in life.
On what is now classed as Hania's eighth birthday after a certain incident happened, she gave him a box, and within it laid the bracelet. He was told to keep it with him always as she would be there to keep the darkness at bay and watching over him so he could be at peace while he rested. From that moment he has always kept it with him even if he hasn't always worn it.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] After the whole talking to Ardere and his mentions to the others happened he was quick to see the others that were with them as well. The Wizard King of course and the daemons that were standing with them that he hated, but he was still now quiet as the talks started. [break][break]
He was quiet after speaking because he just now wanted to watch while the talking seemed to tell them more about the time lapse, and how it was all going. It was quite a large circus and it put the matters against them, but overall…it was still something that THEY could accomplish. Then there was the more personal thing as Artorius spoke to Hania, and then Lucifer stated about going with them and Zaven had no trust, but he was not leading this fight and waited for Ardere. Which he soon got the answering that he wanted to hear as Ardere began to speak after a few moments went on. The way and direction he spoke in seemed as though he was just…not there. He did not say a word further as it was nothing he needed, he was there to fight just like he did when the group was split for a time until the re-uniting. Two of the daemons spoke to each other and had a united saying and he remembered his own family life and how he transferred it to the Golden Dawn. His memories took him back and he was just seeing and thinking of how he was brought up and how he showed his power and fighting as he moved his way up the Golden Dawn ranks. He then remembered getting Hhraban and also the many other times that he watched and helped many enter the most sought after squad among the kingdom. He was brough back to reality as Ardere spoke to his other companion from the same squad. [break][break]
Hearing Hania speak afterwards to speak to Ardere, but the way they moved once all of the speeches done. Then he gave a sigh and was ready to move as well, passing by Ardere he reached over and gave his shoulder a pat ”Ard, once this is over there will be LOTS of thing happening, but there a open ending here to finish up and the ones in this party are all ready for it to be done so that way…even those that need answers can have them. So my friend, let us get going as well. Because as it is going it feels like we are ongoilg the final stretch, but that is all I can think about. If I can help any further with you I will make sure to give my strength and energy if at all possible. He gave a chuckle before he went to the same portal that Hania went through and was ready, not because it COULD be the end, but because he had remembered his past and how he was treated by friends. He was now seemingly alone and it was bringing rage which was seemingly an energy that he could use.

[attr="class","zavenstat2"]COMBAT SUMMARY
[break]
[attr="class","zavenreescroll2"] TLDR I used [break][break]
[break] Artorius let out a light sigh as the Vice Captain moved towards the portal. He felt for him. He truly did. His answers may have unfortunately made matters worse. Asmodeus was sure to wreak havoc on the poor man's mind regardless of his interference. Hania would bear the unimaginable weight of this place in the depths of his mind--a fate he would not wish upon anyone. The Wizard King could only hope that he was strong enough to surpass it, to destroy Asmodeus' grip on all of them. Of course they matter. I just hope you remember that you do too. He whispered to himself. [break][break] Nero smiled at Ardere, closing his eyes for a moment. I did find myself, old friend. Out here with you all. This life of mine is only temporary, so ask everything of it even if you dare not to. I will fight alongside you, my Knights. Whatever Daemonic energy consumed Nero before--he had it under control now. The void mage could feel power coursing through his body. He'd died once. He'd do it again. He had to chance to fight here, the chance to redeem himself. It was all thanks to the mages standing before him. He was so proud of them. [break][break] Wait. The Time mage grabbed Ardere by his arm, prompting the Lion to stop in his tracks. I wish to impart some words to you before we embark. Pulling the Kasai to the side, Artorius folding his arms for a moment. His form was ethereal, but he could seemingly interact with certain things through a display of sheer will--as seen before with the Daemon. The burden of this place....it falls unto your underling. I wish things were different. I wish...so much was different. Artorius rubbed the top of his sinuses, pressing down to release some pressure. Even as a spirit, he was getting a splitting headache. I know exactly what kind of man you are, Ardere. There was a pause for a moment, before the Wizard King smile softly. You'll give everything to protect the people you care for. You're unimaginably selfless at times, to the point of self destruction. Yet here you stand. The makings of a Wizard King yourself. The brown haired man sighed, placing his hands on his hips. But if you do that here, you will die. Your essence will be scattered across eternity. There's no coming back from that. So I need you to live, because Hania will need you. The crux of this fight will bear itself down upon him. He's important. I don't know why. Asmodeus is somehow blocking me from this information, but he can't block me from his emotions. I can feel his avarice towards Hania, his unfathomable need. Whatever your Vice is forced to do, I need you to be there. The choice will ultimately be his, but maybe if he has you there...maybe he'll be able to overcome it. I know what pain you must feel, unable to jump out in front of every attack, every problem. It's in your nature. Deny that nature until the last conceivable moment. Then, everything will reveal itself to you. You will have your fight, Crimson King. But help your friends first. Give them strength the way they give it to you. I fear even your Golden Dawn Captain has a fight ahead of himself. Artorius looked over to Zaven. These mages. They reminded him of people he once cared for. But this was their fight now. He just had to help them. Let us be off. [break][break] As the group entered the portal, they were pulled through time and space; a wormhole. Their forms were ripped to shreds and atoms before being thrown at the speed of light and put back together elsewhere. It would certainly be a jarring experience, possibly inducing some vomiting on the weaker stomachs. What they encountered upon their arrival would be a surprise to the group, as it was to the man leading them. No. This isn't right. We're not supposed to be here. Artorius began creating dozens of time magic circles, each one shattered as the next one formed. Come on! [break][break] I looked too...Asmodeus. You can't do this. [break][break] Blue flames. Endless blue fires consumed the town before them, a town cursed to burn until the end of time; Sosshi. This was not an unfamiliar place to anyone in the group. But these flames were much hotter than any they'd ever encountered before, likely even shocking Ardere and Salamander. High above the flames was the image of a face, a horrific visage staring down at them; Asmodeus. When you've looked into the depths of the universe and seen the truth....anger is all you will find. And it is what has kept me going all these years...anger....hatred towards the cosmos that curses us... The face disappeared, but the voice echoing throughout the area did not. You must endure more suffering before you're allowed to see me, Royal Knights. Echo of a King. My son. Brother. There was disgust in his voice as he snarled. Satan. Show them the wrath of flames. [break][break] Not an inch of this place was without flame, flames they seemed to cause immense pain to any who touched them yet did not actually burn or leave any visible wounds. Brother. You don't have to do this! Asmodeus used us! He stole our memories! Satan looked starkly similar to Lucifer, wings and horns to boot. But the blue flames emitting from his form were uncanny, hot enough to feel from where the knights stood. I know. I've always known, brother. It is you who doesn't have to do this. Give in to our Father. He'll remake everything anew. He only wants to make a better world! After all of the pain we experienced. Don't you want that? Lucifer looked down at the ground solemnly, before looking back up with anger in his eyes. Of course I want that, but how could I ever make a decision like that without my memories?! I want my life back. I want what he stole. He can't just destroy everything! Lucifer summoned three dark horseman out of pure darkness as they raced towards Lucifer but were instantly dispersed in blue flames. You must traverse the flames of pain first. Then, you may fight me. Satan floated down to the ground, where he landed with a thud. He'd given the group a challenge. Link to appearance for Satan [break][break] We weren't supposed to be sent here...I don't know how Asmodeus interfered. But we must fight to get to him, I fear. Artorius was worried again, but he was not without hope. These knights were strong.

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] I wish you didn't, too. Ardere held a hand over his heart, that which was engulfed in pain. He cared for Hania--his friend, not just his Vice Captain. He knew all too well the effects of the Shattering, the pain it caused. He'd lost so much himself, but what his friend was going through was entirely different. The Captain only wished he could help in some other way. Just as he was going to rush through the portal to pursue his friend, Artorius grabbed him by the arm. Turning to look at the former Wizard King, they had a quick aside. [break][break] Listening to Artorius' words, Ardere did not interrupt him. He stood there, absorbing every word. Oh how he was right. His words shot through the Lion like an arrow to the heart. I will. I'm no Wizard King. I only pursued Captain in honor of my father and my mentor, to protect my Lions. I've only ever pursued strength to protect people. Yet I'm always the one left standing. I'm always the one...who survives. Grinding his teeth, there was a depth of pain large enough to fill a well inside him. So few would ever know this pain, but he knew that Artorius did. But I'll do whatever needs to be done. Take whatever position I need to take to protect them. Because I'm a Kasai. I'm a Lion. That's what we do. There was still a white flame in his eyes, even as his form returned to what he was before. He was right. That power was still there. He was still there. [break][break] Looking over to Zaven, he offered his hand. You all see right through me, like a pane of glass. Am I that opaque? Snorting, he turned back to face the portal. We must give each other strength, my friend. Let's kick this bastard down. His wounds were healing. He could feel them starting to close as he entered the portal and his form was atomized. Strung across reality and reformed, he nearly threw up as he landed. Holy shit. Standing up straight, his vision was hazy for a moment. The dizziness quickly subsided as his vision was consumed in flames. These blue flames were not normal. Even Salamander could tell. The dragon snarled at these flames, clinging to his master's shoulder tightly. This....is Sosshi... This place was cursed, wasn't it? That was the only thought that remained in his mind as he looked up to see Asmodeus staring down at them. His fight for flight instincts were immediately activated as white flames scattered across his body. But there was no fight, not yet. [break][break] As the Archdaemon called down to him, Ardere looked off in the distance. He noticed it immediately; the other daemon hovering in the air, engulfed in blue embers. He was overcome with a sense of dread and unease as he stared down at this Daemon. Something was off about him, and these flames too. Wrath. Pain. Flames. These were things he normal associated with himself. He wanted to scream. He wanted to run out and punch this guy right in the face, but he did not. He stayed his hand. Salamander provided him comfort in the form of warmth in his soul, but it was only momentary. Pain huh? Holding a hand out to the flames, he noticed they did not burn in any ordinary sense; they hurt him deep inside. Sharp pain shot through his brain as he immediately pulled back. No. He had to walk through them, didn't he? They all did. I don't think I can't disperse these. Nero, could you possibly use your void magic to deal with them? His body urged him to walk forward. He did not know why, but every fiber of his being was telling him to walk forward. Something is wrong here.
[attr="class","haniascroll"]The ice mage was beyond troubled, usually if he had issues he could keep his surface calm so others didn't know while he worked through whatever the issue was, but, this just wasn't something that he could push to the side and deal with in the background while doing other things. The information would have been too much for anyone to bear so how was he expected to deal with it, he was logical but this made no sense. How could something like this happen? He would have asked who pissed him off in the past but if he was a reincarnated daemon that list could have been longer than time. He stopped at the portal and listened to Artorius as he spoke his hands clenched into fists "With due respect sir you have no idea what you are speaking about." his tone was cold as he spoke, but with that said he walked through the portal.
He had no idea what was happening inside the time fissure, even if he did it wasn't exactly like he could stop it. His eyes went around the area "S... Sosshi..." he muttered as he noticed the village ablaze, he moved away from the portal quickly. He was troubled but that would need to take a back seat for now, he still had a duty as a magic knight until the end of this assignment. He wasn't a water mage but he knew that ice melted under water, but he could already tell these flames were hotter than what was normal. 'I'm starting to hate people' he thought to himself 'You have always hated people, they are irrational.' the voice came back 'Be quiet.' he was irritated at the moment the last thing he wanted to deal with was some unknown voice.
He doubted it would work but he had to try the flames were enveloping the village. He raised his left hand up, "I'm still recovering" but it wasn't as if he had much of a choice his current power had no chance of putting out these flames. "The flames of Ira... a double-sided sin... of course we ended up here after what I was just told." he took a deep breath and flattened his hand a seal appearing high above, it wasn't a spell from his grimoire but ice and snow felt from it. 'Please be enough...' he thought to himself it wasn't just mana that he was flooding into the snowstorm he was conjuring, he was forcing his life force into it. Amostia was biting at his ear drawing blood but it didn't stop him he seemed fully at peace with what he was doing.
He brought up his hand to his spirit partner and stopped him "Amostia, please don't be angry with what I am doing." he said his voice was calm as he spoke it was clear he was resolute in his action "You know how my family are. You know me as well as I know myself." they both knew parts were missing now but he was still a magic knight and a Ravencrest at least until the end of this task. "Hania, you can't change this, it's another pocket just like every one before it." Amostia reminded him "True, but, let's face it, it's too hot for those like us." he said with a small smile showing he wouldn't stop trying to stop the flames or at the very least cool the area down. "Lord Asmodeus there is more than hate in the universe and if that is the only thing you can find, I suggest you look at another part of it." he said bringing his hand down.
"People are complicated. They're irrational, emotional and at times completely idiotic but that is just part of the condition of living. They are prideful, they are capable of love and are selfless to the point of sacrificing for what they find worth it even if the thing for good or ill." he was still clouded with emotions but they would do no good here, he was well aware of that. It was the last thing that Asmodeus said that irritated the ice mage "Endure more suffering! You want to talk about suffering?!" his voice was raised the ice and snow he created turning black as had the spirit his ice blue eyes turning a deep cloudy grey. "I understand that you have been through hell and back but you did it to yourself! I haven't had any say in mine!" his hand went back to those who came through the portal "They didn't have any say in theirs!" His mana was flaring something that it had never done before, strangely it was still calm.
"Lucifer don't waste your breath on him." he said, his eyes sharp as he looked at the daemon of pride for a brief second "Wrath is a double-sided sin, it is something you can feel towards others or yourself." he informed the group, he had felt both keenly throughout his life more internal than external and in his current mindset it had amplified. "Don't touch the flames, not only will they likely melt the skin but I have a feeling any anger you harbour will be amplified." he said not knowing if it was completely true, he began to walk on until he heard Satan's words "I've had enough of this. Amostia...." he stated the bird flying directly towards him and going through his heart. The moment Amostia vanished Hania's body started to change from its usual colour to a blueish-grey it made him seem almost like he was a corpse, his eyes going from dull grey to turning silver.
His hair started to glow to the point it almost became ethereal, it held an icy blue colour in the otherwise now silver-white hair, at the sides of his head was a feathered headpiece, on his forehead could be seen a pale huadian. His clothing even changed, it was almost like a toga with how it came off his right shoulder and only covered half his torso. At the shoulders, an ornate silver and almost ice blue feathered pauldron appears, from one to the other seemed to be almost like a floating ethereal sash made of ice that floats over his head as a white cloak that drifts down to the ground and a set of ethereal icy blue and white set of falcon-like wings seem to sprout from his back to allow him flight. Around his neck seems to be a silver necklace with an ice-blue gem in the middle that almost seems to shine like a sapphire.
His torso and arms had runes and other markings over them in the same pale white colour as the huadian, around his waist, was an ornate belt that had two gems hanging from it made from the same ice blue crystal that was inside the necklace. The toga now stopped at the floor, it seemed to have an ornate pattern embroidered into it with an almost transparent piece of silk on top. the trousers he wears are white and he seems to have white armoured boots that come to a point. "Concentrate on getting to the other side, I'll keep him occupied until you can cross the flames and then we can continue on." he said to the group as he took flight heading towards Satan, he had to believe they wouldn't do anything as stupid as he believed he and Amostia had just done. He could really do with not being distracted but he would deal with it if it came that way.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] Zaven listened to the small conversation that Ardere had, not for anything to get him a move higher…or was it so and Zaven just did not understand? No matter, as his last piece was said and he reached forth to give his friend a pat to show he was still quite there to make sure he was ready. Following the pat Ardere looked up to him with a smile that showed how much the words spoken by his Vice captain and Zaven wo has been with him for two fights now and he spoke. Ardere’s next set of words actually ment a great deal to those that still were there, so Zaven left his hand as though they were truly becoming great friends, and Zaven really nodded as he was one of his true friends that made him feel as though he could do better. His life gave him quite a pull as well as his family and how he was brought up in life. He was growing differently as he went through the daemon events that was taking his thinking and honestly turning it so that he would take up memories. [break][break]
He wanted to do more… [break][break]
Ardere’s words brought him back and he nodded and the rest of the eventful team walked into the portal. That is when things changed drastically and Zaven was caught by the feeling and he was shaking for a moment before his eyes caught the entire area and he wanted to move forth to stop whatever the hell just pushed forth. The movement around the scene around them, the flames, and the play of what was happening made him want to just push forth and fight with a very pissed opinion and thought. Yet Hania, well the Vice Captain that had issues and was ready to leave made him feel some inner thoughts once again as small flashbacks of fights and other movements he made. As they were talked to, the talk of Satan and Lucifer, and the words given by Hania…the final movements made and the warning given for them. He broke away from feeling and thinking about his past and he felt Hraban on his shoulder and he was ready to do as Hania was doing, but it was not the time to do as the Vice Captain was doing..even though after this from the last discussion, the VC aspect will be gone. [break][break]
Then came a last bit of words from the changed and fantastic Vice Captain, which only earned him a nod from Zaven before he looked to the others. ”Well…you heard him, so I understand wanting to move against Satan rather than getting past the flames, but…we should move so that way Ardere can grow and work into a better standing. However…I am still not happy in how this is happening, and this feels like a heavy, heavy trial rather than a perhaps final fight.” These were Zaven’s words and once they were said he began to look for a way to cross through or wherever he could go…or push the others so he could help Hania, and he knew that thinking it was a naysay of what he had already said as if going with what was directed at first, but he was ready to step forth and set up a way that Hania could put forth a great way to finish Satan or take him to our side when every flame was diminished. Was it possible that he could actually help after doing what was originally said…well hell no, but he was still wanting to. He was the Shadow of Dawn and often led with anger and spilling blood instead of doing something that was right. ”Ardere, you ready to move, and the rest of you…are we ready as well? This doesnt seem well, but we have to move past this…and I already spoke this, but according to Hania’s words the Sin venture is what can stop us…” He practically said the same twice, but also pointed that the move and how he spoke of the Sinning that he really was listening. Will the others follow, and will the fight actually do good, also will his in mind plan of working to push the Crimson Lion Captain and the others through, will this kill Zaven?
[break] Hania: [break][break] I've been waiting for a challenge. Satan leaned his head back and closed his eyes for a moment as the blue flames began to consume his form, sharp scales, sparkling and hateful as they appeared across his skin. His body was covered in scale and flame like armor. This was his true Consumption. Just by looking at him, one would have thought he was already in it. The mages now knew that was tragically not the case. The Wrathful was not bearing the full weight of his anger and hatred down upon them, specially Hania. [break][break] Cold. How he hated the cold. [break][break] Satan hovered high above the flames, calling hordes of them into the palm of his hand. Azure Cataclysm. Firing off this Grand level spell that could cover an eighty meter area in a second, it was no mere fireball, but rather in the shape of a wolf's head, with its maw open wide to swallow everything whole--aimed at Hania. Show me the power of your spirit! His eyes were filled with bloodlust and wrath, burning so hot they almost turned a pale white, but not quite. Not quite. You're nothing special. None of us are. We're all moths to the flame that is Asmodeus. All sacrifices for the new world. Even...our memories...our souls... Tears began to roll down his eyes, immediately vaporizing as they formed. Satan was consumed in power, blue ichor pouring down his cheeks. It would be painfully obvious to Hania that he was not entirely in control of his own actions. Someone else was pulling the strings. He always was. But that did not absolve Satan of his sins, even the Daemon knew that. Was he simply the rage or something...more? [break][break] Lucifer, Nero, Zaven, Artorius, and Ardere:[break][break] I'm not backing down against you, brother of mine. Flame formed a crown, a wreath of darkness betwixt Lucifer's horns. He'd always held distaste for Satan and his blind hatred, his disgusting flames. Let Hania handle it. We have bigger problems. Nero said to the Daemon, as the flames around them continued to rage on. There were Daemon in the flames, shadow and spectres, their fears and insecurities forged into monsters of fire. The group behind the Vice Captain was in for a reckoning, an arduous battle. But something was wrong with the Lion Captain. Voices were calling to him from the flames, to the King among them. Salamander could hear them too. Something else was in the azure flame, dancing among the blue fires. Ardere would be able to hear it. His memories in the heat. Dammit. Ardere. No! Artorius called out. He could sense what was in the flame, something dark beckoning to the Dragon and the King. Alright. Everyone. Ignore the flames. They're not real! Just keep moving. Don't let Hania's actions be in vain. Nero and Lucifer nodded, both launching Grand level Attack spells behind them to cover their tracks as they made an attempt to grab Ardere and Zaven to move forward. Artorius gazed upon Hania in his beauty and strength, his powerful Spirit Dive making itself known to the world. You are strong, aren't you? Stronger than the past. Stronger than another life. He whispered to himself as they took off. [break][break] Just Ardere: [break][break] The voices calling out to Ardere were so loud, the dancing flames so mesmerizing. But one voice echoed throughout all of them, even past what he imagined were Silas and his father; it was....Aamon. The elf was calling out to him, blue as the flames he was engulfed in. All of his pain was in these flames, every tragedy, every mistake. He was forced to face them, again. This was the curse of the strong. Whether he chose to run from these flames or not was up to him. Monsters stood in them, waiting to devour their prey. They were strong, so very strong. Dozens of upper ranked Daemon, waiting for him--or so it seemed to the others. [break][break] Zaven and Artorius: [break][break] The voices began to call to Zaven too, pounding into him how weak he was. They did not beckon him as they did Ardere--they berated him. Artorius could not understand what the objective was here. This place, it was not the same as he remembered it. Then again, hundreds of years processing through his mind was not exactly easy to decipher. Zaven, I need you to carve out a path in front of us. Nero and Lucifer will take our Rearguard. I need to divert all of my magic to getting us out of here. You're of the Golden Dawn, my squad once upon a time. So I need you to strike down anything that gets in our way. Hania may have bought us some time, but these flames will not fully recede until Satan is beaten. Not even to a Spirit or myself... Artorius tightened his grasp, almost shaking in his ethereal form. He had to get them out of here.

[attr="class","ardereescroll"] Voices. Damned voices again. Why was Ardere constantly under some manner of impetuous, psychic assault? Was his mind not fortified enough? Had he not endured enough pain? [break][break] This isn't about pain...It never was. Salamander. It had been some time since the Dragon spoke words to him. They mostly communicated through raw emotion, exchanging few words. The Dragon King did not speak unless he found it absolutely necessary to. These flames aren't coming from Satan himself. He's calling them from another realm, his power amplified by Asmodeus. But he cannot control them entirely. They have....a mind of their own... [break][break] Ardere went silent, standing among the azure flame as they slowly encroached on him. Tilting his head back, he took a breath. Then I'll call out to them too. He thought to Salamander, opening his arms as Artorius and the others shouted at him. Before Nero and Lucifer could grab ahold of him, he'd gone into the fires entirely, letting the blue heat consume him. He was gone, out of sight from the others. And in these flames, he did not simply find a world a pain--he found everything. Emotions were scattered here, not simply fleeting, but burning a hole in reality. He could hear voices of the people they loved, but the one that struck him, the one that sent him hurdling into the fires was Aamon. Ardere was the Champion now, or so he'd been proclaimed. This was his burden to bear. Come to me. Shouting into the Ether loud enough to shake the Heavens, he screamed and called in the flames to anyone or anything that could listen. Rage. Passion. Love. His most powerful emotions were launched into the Ethos. He was the King of Fire, the Crimson King, the Divine Dragon. [break][break] There was no other who knew flames as he knew them. Not even in another timeline or another reality. This much he was certain. Beyond the pain, beyond the regrets, he knew this. So he floated along a river of blue flame now, wrenching it unto himself, attempting to control it. When he emerged, he would either be dead or be what he was always meant to be. Hania and Artorius were going to be angry with him. He knew this. But he refused to be a burden to them. He was never meant to come, but he did. Hania was meant for great things. He couldn't just let him die or fade away. That was his friend, his Vice Captain. He wasn't going to lose another one. So gods be damned if he was selfish. Everything be damned! He wanted Hania to live! He wanted his friends to live! So he selfishly dove into the fire, hoping to help them. He was a Leader, a Captain. But he was not blind, not naïve as he was many years ago. These memories he dove into had forged a strong man, someone capable of owning up to his mistakes and growing from them. [break][break] So why did he leap in? If he was so wise, so strong, why would he jump into flames that would kill him? Because they won't kill you. Nor me. You and I were not just born in the fire. We are the fire. Salamander's words echoed throughout his mind and the scorching blue around them. What would come now was up to their strength, together. The Dragon knew something he did not, and he trusted him. This trust would sprout wings, wings that their comrades would soon see take flight.
[attr="class","haniascroll"]Hania continued flying but he made sure to be well aware of his surroundings because he felt like those he was travelling with were bound to do something stupid, his captain more than most. He knew Ardere was a good man who would self-sacrifice for the things he held near and dear to his heart but it was also the thing that was going to wind up with him dead. He refused to be the reason he had to tell Jagen that the fire mage ended up coming home in an ice box. His eyes never came off of his target, however, he did stop mid-flight and hovered watching as Satan's body was engulfed in flames, he already understood that they weren't ordinary flames they couldn't be given these were connected to the sin of wrath. "Consumption.." he whispered to himself realizing what was going on.
"Are your brothers not a challenge?" he would ask as he was changing, he took this chance to place his left hand behind his back while moving it as if he was holding something. Within his hand, a yanyuedao would appear in the hand behind his back. its shaft was five feet long with a fifteen-inch crescent blade, at the bottom of the shaft there was a mace counterbalance but it was plain to see it could be used to strike by someone skilled in the weapon. He heard the words spoken luckily due to how far he was away and thanks to his speed being boosted swung the yanyuedao effortlessly stalemating the spell encroaching on him and those on the ground. "I am your enemy leave them out of this, only when I am dead will you be allowed after them." his words were stern as he spoke, it was clear that the ice mage wasn't playing around.
He chuckled at the next words that came out of Satan's mouth "I am well aware I am nothing special, I've never claimed to be." he said his tone calm "But you seem to be projecting, if you want to talk about it I know a few bleeding hearts that would love to play therapist." he said to the man, he was thoughtful as he dashed forward slashing his weapon diagonally down the daemon's chest. "I am not a moth and I try to stay away from flames as much as you try and stay away from water and ice." he said with a smile, it wasn't that much of a leap given the area was covered in flames. "I will decide if and when I sacrifice myself and it won't be to bring around a corrupt and twisted version of a utopia!" he stated as he thrust his weapon forward a second hovering behind him the entire time.
"My memories are my own..." he said his voice cold, he knew eventually he would be driven crazy because he couldn't forget things and how some of these memories hurt so bad but for good or ill they made him the man he was now. "I won't give them up to the likes of you or that crazed madman." his voice held determination and strength within it "Tell me something Satan, do you hate yourself as much as you hate how you are treated? How you see others being treated? Why did you become so wrathful?" He knew this likely would help him find a solution to this dilemma especially since he noticed the tears forming before they became vapor. 'He's weeping? Does he not want to be doing this?' he questioned himself, he didn't have the answer, this wasn't like Leviathan where the answer was so simple.
He knew that Asmodeus had to be pulling the strings here, it didn't absolve him of any wrongdoing before he became a puppet, but it would lessen the guilt of his actions now. "Satan... what do you want in this life?" he would ask the man moving to strike at his shoulder "Daemons are not all inherently evil... selfish and deal in self-preservation sure but those are traits even humans have." he said trying to understand the other, he doubted this was going to end peacefully but he still had to try and understand because even if he was to perish he wanted to know Satan's motivation. His eyes glanced back for a brief second "I swear to all that is holy and unholy Ardere if you survive this I'm going to kill you!" he gave the instructions for a reason but of course like always they fell on deaf ears. "Why do I even bother?" he felt no matter what he said it just fell on deaf ears because people believed they knew better for one reason or another.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] The voices from the flames before him was beginning a push against him in such a way that he was grinding gears in what to do currently. He was thinking about how he was just about to start and he was going to take a move to help Hania, and another movement so the others could get Ardere to a different path. However, before he could just basically get them all to move, the pieces began to move. It pissed him off even more like earlier, but the talk that was made soon after he was brought back to as the floor wanted to move quicker. Ardere seemed to say nothing for a moment, but it was…a different push. Just as they were acting in becasue of the words from Artorius as he gave out some rather quick words to the team which caused Zaven to see the nod as Nero and Lucifer were going to grab Ardere. Yet there was nothing more that could be done as Ardere moved his captain ass into the flames. “NO! GOD DAMN IT!” Zaven was already ready to compress anything that he could and just do what he did when he first came to beig fight in this attack to take out the daemon that changed the era of the world. [break][break]
It was then that Artorius saw Zaven and chose the words to change what was looking to go further. He still wanted to move, he wanted to help Hania…even due to what happened before they exited to this new are. His breathing easyed up, and his heart calmed as this continued, even Hania looked like this was a very pushed moment and they all had the look on their faces and they needed this push. Push from his best friend, and met Vice Captain that was already looking to do better, give them all a push, to protect them, there was so much going on and since the Captain of the Golden Dawn was here he just chose…to fight. He had been pushed, and pushed, and did things he was just asked, commanded, or whether he wanted to do them or not. The words that were just said, the asking of him to take the front and carve a path, he looked to himself and hands before just nodding and then his Grimoire came forth and it opened as he was ready then and there. They were going to get through and the Captain and Vice Captain were also going to come out of this. Then the next round of words that were spoke of and rather non flicking back into the issues INSIDE of the flames or even the thought above him to help Hania…or even Ardere. He nodded as the grimoire went to the page in the magical book and moved towards the flames. For now he was going to start with passage macking as he struck with the shadows. “Shadow Armament!” He spoke out loud and made a rather boastful punch towards each gauntlet as he started to move. ”Then let us get a move on so we can help everyone by hopefully assisting Ardere, and Hania…We will not stop.” He said out loud as if a terrible moment just turned into a force of pushing to help the scene and his friend and the Vice Captain if he could…even if he truly just wanted to fight if he could. While moving he proposed another spell he would use if or once needed. He was a shadow moving to fight against these flames…How just funny. As the ones in the flames would try or if they did he would move and strike as much as he could and keep moving if he could open up and route so everyone could buzz through the issue. This is what he was asked to do after all, and Hraban looked to his master and just shook its spirit head, a shadow spirit that wanted to try bonding like how Ardere and Hania did was making him to want to help more. Zaven could feel the buzz and was also ready to do so as well.

[break] To Hania: [break][break] What did Satan want? Had he dared to ask himself such a question as these azure flames wrought havoc across the battlefield, both literally and within the confines of his mind. There was not only one front on which this horrific war took place, but many. As the tears that poured down his cheeks evaporated, the shred of Humanity he'd just shown began to wither as well. Something was keeping it locked away, with an adamantine key. It was entirely likely not even Asmodeus could reverse the damage done to the poor soul that now engaged the Crimson Lion Vice Captain. But this did not absolve him, if anything it fueled his rage and hatred of the world. [break][break] So he'd burn it all, every last shred. [break][break] Hania and Satana's attacks canceled one another out, a hot steam dispersing across the area momentarily. They were seemingly evenly matched, both in their Consumption and Spirit Dive forms respectively. You asked if my brothers were a challenge. Only one of them is. And he's standing right before me. Black blood began to trickle down his cerulean eyes, across scaled, chapped skin. Ripping a Greatsword out of thin air, crafted in his rage filled flames, he bore it down upon the Lion's blade. Fallen Son. With a quick turn and parry, he deflected the weapon brought toward him and attempted a counter attack with a quick jab and slash before lifting his hands up and calling forth a gathering of flames. Tossing a small fireball at the Lion, he attempted to use it as a distraction to dash in low, and utilize his Greatsword for a sweeping attack. Cerulean Burst! It wasn't until after his attack that he realized the blade left a scratch across his upper arm, black ichor dripping down it. It must have occurred during the parry. He'd almost been gored by the weapon. He was fast. Just as fast as Satan. If he got any faster, he wouldn't be able to keep up. Finally. A fight that could kill him. This brought a devilish smile to his lips. [break][break] I want everything to burn. All of it. But I'm not strong enough to take my revenge on this world. Asmodeus is. This world cursed me long before I was a Daemon. Took everything from me. As did the Archdaemon I was beholden to before Asmodeus, the one WE were beholden to... These words would strike Hania. Deep down, he knew what they meant. Tell me, Lion. What do you want? Can you even remember for yourself? He spat words at the Vice Captain amidst his onslaught, filled with dissonance and discontent. Was Satan a man or a monster? Even he did not know anymore. His words felt hollow before, spoken by another. But his more recent statement felt true, like there was a weight behind the words he spoke. He did want everything to burn. He hated this world for what it did to him. [break][break] To Zaven and Company: [break][break] No, we won't. Artorius said, smiling at the Golden Dawn Captain. I must confide in you, successor of mine...I've been watching your group since you entered the Temporal Magic Zone. I was worried....you'd given up on yourself. That you may have been crushed by this cruel world....that you'd let yourself die here. It brings me joy to see you fight alongside Ardere and Hania. I should have saved these words for a time less dire, but I fear this may be our last chance to converse before the final battle. Asmodeus is closing in on us, not the other way around. Even I will have to fight. But you...the three of you give me strength, and hope. You may feel doubt in yourself, but you would not be the Golden Dawn Captain if you were weak. And even if you feel yourself not up to the position any longer, don't give up on life. I've had a thousand years to reflect on it. Every moment, every little thing, every stupid argument, memories with your friends...are worth living for. So I beg you, Zaven Blake. Please live for me. [break][break] Looking back to where the Crimson King once stood, he shook his head. The one was destined for greatness as well, even if he was a self-sacrificing fool. Maybe that's what made him such a hero to begin with. He just hoped that Zaven could see himself the same way. Conquer those flames. Don't you dare die in there you fool. He whispered to himself, to Ardere. Turning back to Zaven, the Time mage began casting a spell. As the flames bore down upon them, the shadow mage continued to fight. Thank you. Nero said to the Second Wizard King. What for? Nero smiled. For giving my children hope again. And for me. I needed to hear those words as well. Artorius nodded, shaking hands with his successor. Alright, enough with the sappy talk. Let's get the hell out of here. Lucifer growled, fighting back the flames with his darkness. [break][break] Once they pushed through a good chunk of flames, they came upon something strange. Among the decrepit and burnt buildings, there was a statue, a statue of the first Wizard King. Old friend. On this statue was a large magical seal--a closed portal through time and space. Asmodeus locked it down so they could not escape from this place. He noticed there were no tremors here like before. They were being confined to a prison. Bastard. Zaven. I need you to blast this seal with as powerful of a spell as you can. Nero, Lucifer, hold back the flames as best you can. Artorius cast a spell on Zaven, one that would have a strange effect. The Shadow mage would noticed his facial hair beginning to grow, as did the lines on his face. For just a moment, he was older, but also stronger. (Zaven is given a +20 Power buff as well as a free Archmage spell cast to use this turn if he wishes) Admittedly, I was planning on saving that spell for Ardere to use, but seeing as he went and threw himself into the flames, I think this burden of strength falls onto you, Mr. Blake. Do with it what you will. Nero and Lucifer leaped back to back behind them, summoning Void and Darkness magic respectively to keep the flames back. They could see something in them, a massive beast making its way towards them. Fuck. We gotta hurry! Lucifer shouted, summoning his Horseman. Nero ripped off his tailcoat and placed his glasses in his pocket. I'll hold it back. Just break that seal, Zaven. [break][break] To Ardere: [break][break] Look at you, son. All grown up. With your mother's striking eyes, and flames no less. Standing before Ardere in the blue flames, was his Father; Ryoku Kasai. Former Captain of the Purple Orcas and mentor of Jagen Lavender, he'd died over a decade ago now. Yet here, he stood. The Captain would likely think this was some sort of memory, or mental break as he'd had before. It wasn't the first time he'd heard his father's voice echoing in the cosmos, but it was the first time that deep down, he'd know it was real. I know you may think I'm just a memory, maybe I am, or maybe I'm a bit more than that. Letting out a soft sigh, the tall, pale man in a purple suit placed a hand over his face. Since when have you started doubting yourself again, Ardere? Never doubt yourself. You’ve beaten Archdaemon before. You may think he’s different, but he’s not. Asmodeus is just another enemy standing in front of you. Stepping closer to his son, his eyes were somber. I’m so sorry son. I’m sorry I went and died on you. I should’ve been there for you and your mother. Tears began to well up in his eyes. I’m sorry I missed all your birthdays. I missed all your promotional ceremonies. Every victory you shed blood for. Every heartbreak and loss. You lost your boy, and I wasn't there to help you. To hold you and tell you that love never dies. Not even across time. I’m sorry I didn’t see you grow up to become such a fine man who I’m so damn proud of. I’m so sorry, Ard. He was sobbing now, a ghost across time and space.
[attr="class","ardereescroll"] Where was he? Where had Ardere floated off to, among flames and time? Had his mind wandered to the edge of the universe, like Asmodeus and Artorius? Or had he simply allowed himself to fall into the depths of his own memories, unable to discern truth and reality from illusion? [break][break] The answer was not so simple. [break][break] Everything before him was real, even the memories. But the man that stood before him was no memory, this much he knew. The man before him was much more akin to Nero's situation, plucked from another time. This was his father. He knew that in his heart and soul. What he'd heard during his fight with Aamon may have been more than just a memory or a ghost, but this was the real thing--no doubt. How his dead father was here, he had no idea. Asmodeus easily could have used his powers to torture him, but somehow he felt this was not of the Archdaemon's doing. It was of his own making. [break][break] You think I wouldn't be able to tell my father from a memory? You have no idea how much I've missed you. Don't you dare stand there and apologize to me, you amazing bastard. Don't you dare! Embracing his father, he also burst into tears. He cried like a child, a child who'd gone so long without seeing his dad. A child who'd lost so much, and hope was standing right in front of him. You need not shed any shameful tears, old man. Without you and mom, I wouldn’t have gotten so strong. You did everything to protect us. I know that. So don’t you ever apologize for sacrificing everything to save us. I’d do the same in a heartbeat. Smiling with tears down his eyes, he felt a joy and a sadness unlike any he'd ever felt before. So many nights, so many years he wished he could just hold his dad one more time. And here he was, holding him like he'd never let go. [break][break] The strength he gained from this was unparalleled. He could topple a Kingdom with such strength, such powerful love filled strength. But I'm not sacrificing myself, Dad. I'm no hero, like you. But I can help my friends. I have to be alive to do that. I'm going to live a long and beautiful life, because of what you did for me. I'm not dying here! Not in these blue flames! I'm going to help Hania and Zaven beat him. And our people will finally know some gods damned peace. You mark my words. Ardere pulled back to look in his dad's lavender eyes. Those Kasai eyes. He so rarely got to see them. He had not inherited them, but he was not ashamed of that, not of any part of his bloodline. His mother and father had given him so much, and his friends filled in the rest. I'm not letting my Lions down. I'm done feeling sorry or ashamed. I'm the gods damn Crimson King. A power was welling up deep within the azure flames, one every mage could now feel. [break][break] Ardere did not venture in these flames to die, he sought what they held within. He'd found it.
[attr="class","haniascroll"]The moment he asked the question he could feel the heat rising, he caused his element to float around him to keep himself cooled. The falling ice and flames below made this place an unbearable hellscape for most he was sure of it, but there was little that he could prevent it if he wanted to try and save the Sosshi around him. He saw the tears falling only to evaporate the moment they were about to fall, he hated the heat and for all he had distanced himself from people he despised people suffering. Satan was once Human, and he was sure of this. Born Daemons were rare and far different from those who were gifted the daemonic curse, he had no idea why he knew this but he did. It likely had to do with the fact that born Daemons didn't have the human emotions those who turned into Daemons did.
Then again, he was quite sure that born Daemons could learn Human emotion if they wanted but it would likely be a struggle for them to go past the nature born to them but not an impossible one. "Who were you Satan? before the Daemonic curse, I mean? What made you despondent enough to hand over your life?" he would ask, he was trying to breakthrough the blockade to his memories as the others had managed to do but he was different, it was like he willingly gave over his memories and didn't care if it meant if the world would suffer. "Satan, do you think you will have a seat at his table when all is said and done?" he would ask the other "Do you truly think he will give you back what you lost when you were mortal all that time ago?" he needed him to question these things.
The initial clash of Hania's ice yanyuedao and Satan's flaming wolf head caused them both to stalemate creating a cloud of steam, he had to develop a new yanyuedao straight away to prevent the spell from becoming inactive. He only had one or two spells that could physically affect an area and he was reluctant to use them at the best of times. The ice mage wasn't a sledgehammer, he was a scalpel and due to this needed to be precise with everything he did. It was then Satan answered his first question, if any of his brothers had been a challenge to him, the answer shook him to his core. He was still trying to get over what Artorius had recently told him and then to be told that he was a Daemon. 'I don't have the mental capacity to deal with this right now.' he thought to himself.
The distraction was brief enough that he barely dodged from the strike that would have easily taken his arm. "You have the wrong person, I am Human." he stated his eyes narrowed he needed to deal with this when the fighting had come to an end because he was ready to kill someone over this entire situation because he wanted answers, not cryptic messages. The fireball came his way but he countered it with a snowball, the strength of his magic was steadily growing the longer he was inside of the battle, soon enough he would be able to overpower Satan, he just needed to hope that his spirit dive would last long enough. He knew he could push further but it was detrimental to do so and would take far longer to get over the side effects but he would do so if needed.
He was going to take a gamble, he threw his yanyuedao at Satan in the hopes of distracting him, a new one appearing at his side instantly. As soon as he let go he steepled his hands as he closed his eyes for the briefest of seconds, he knew this left him open to attacks but if it paid off then it would be worth it. A black mist-like cloud of ice appears under the steeple that he had formed with his hands, quickly he parted his hands releasing the spell's full potential. The darkened ice almost seems to frost everything that it touches turning it into a winter wonderland. The thing was, it didn't look like what one would expect, instead, it looked wrong, very, very wrong. where there should be songs of joy they would only hear songs of misery and grief while others wailed and cried.
The sweet-smelling air would start smelling of burning wood and flesh, the place would slowly turn into a more twisted version of itself with windows broken and cracked the people would look deathly sick and hostile. He knew this would also mess up the ability to sense mana so it gave him and others a little bit of an easier time. This was one of the few physical spells that would target an area. 'Forgive me' he thought to himself he weaved what he could but at his current control he could only protect one person and he chose his captain as he was the most injured out of the group. He made a mental note he would need to strengthen the amount of control he had over his spells, not that it would matter as he had every intention of barricading himself inside his library after this assignment.
"Well isn't that nice for you." he said sighing "If you wish to die that much then why fight? Why not drive your own sword into yourself?" he would ask "In truth, you want to survive you just want others to suffer as you feel you have suffered." he was stoic once more, he was quite sure that Satan did want to survive just long enough so he could see the world suffer as he and those he once cared for did with interest. "Asmodeus doesn't care about you or yours, you are merely a means to an end. It is your own anger that keeps you chained." he said knowing that he looked like one of the villagers allowing him to move around unseen so long as Satan couldn't see through the illusion. "The world takes..." he said his voice filled with pain "I know this, those who are with me know this." he shook his head.
"To think you could move through life without things you hold dear to you is just a childish dream Satan. It..." he paused for a second it was still a painful memory that was raw to him. "It was a lesson I learned as a child when my dearest person was killed for showing me that the world wasn't full of darkness like I was made to believe." he said finding it hard to keep his emotions in check. It was the first time he spoke of this incident since it happened thirteen years ago. "You aren't special in that regard, just you lost yourself to that pain where I couldn't as I was too busy surviving in a place that was alien to me." he said it was what he said next that made him move his hand to his head, the flashes were intense, far more so than what he was used to.
It was as if this place was intensifying everything. He was fighting not to fall to his knees but he saw so many horrors that he wished he hadn't, he felt like he was going to be sick. "Fa... Father..." he whispered getting images of the Archdaemon who took control of Kikka, he shook his head hearing his spirit partner crying deep within, he knew if this kept up the dive would end early as he and Amostia were falling out of sync with each other 'I know... I know but it's difficult...' he said trying to calm himself and his stressed spirit. He took a deep breath and stilled the turmoil he felt at least for now. "I am beholden to no Daemon, I never have been." he said his voice holding a renewed strength to it, he couldn't believe that to be the truth at least for now. Hearing the question he chuckled a little
"Oh, I know what I want. To be in my library reading a good book with a cup of tea and a piece of cake." He was quite a simple man at the end of the day. He had to hope that this would work but something told him it wouldn't be that simple. He knew if this tactic didn't work he would just need to try something else but the longer this went on the worse he knew it was going to become for him, he needed to hope the others would reach the other side of Sosshi soon.

Using ammo rules additional yanyuedao can be created and be given to allies but these are melee-based weapons and do grand damage upon a successful strike. Those that are hit directly with the yanyuedao find themselves affected by serious frostbite and moderate hypothermia.

Parting his hands releases the spells full force, the darkened ice almost seems to frost everything that it touches turning it into a winter wonderland. The thing is the more a person looks around things are wrong, very wrong... where there should be songs of joy they would only hear songs of misery and grief while others wailed and cried. The sweet-smelling air would actually start smelling of burning wood and flesh, the place would slowly turn into a more twisted version of itself with windows broken and cracked the people would look deathly sick and hostile. Mana signatures wouldn't be where people would be expecting them allowing Hania and those not affected to move around easier due to it being harder to track them. Those trapped within this eclipsed winter wonderland would also be taking grand damage. Those within the spell will find themselves getting severe frostbite and moderate hypothermia. With the use of ammo rules, Hania is able to prevent allies from being harmed.[break][break]
To see through this illusion a person would need 120 sensory this is increased by 2 for every 10 control that hania has. His hair starts to glow and almost become ethereal, it holds an icy blue colour in the otherwise now silver-white hair, at the sides of his head seemed to be a feathered headpiece, on his forehead can be seen a pale huadian. His clothing even changes, it was almost like a toga with how it came off his right shoulder and only covered half his torso. At the shoulders, ornate silver and almost ice blue feathered pauldron appear, from one to the other seems to be almost like a floating ethereal sash made of ice that floats over his head and has a white cloak that drifts down to the ground and a set of ethereal icy blue and white set of falcon-like wings seem to sprout from his back to allow him flight.
Around his neck seems to be a silver necklace with an ice blue gem in the middle that almost seems to shine like a sapphire. His torso and arms seem to have runes and other markings over them in the same pale white colour as the huadian, around his waist seem to be an ornate belt that has two gems hanging from it made from the same ice blue crystal that is inside the necklace. The toga now stops at the floor, it seems to have an ornate pattern embroidered into it with an almost transparent piece of silk on top. the trousers he wears are white and he seems to have white armoured boots that come to a point.

With the use of ammo rules, additional peoples names can be written per trigger. [attr="class","zavenreescroll"] As things moved faster and faster, it was as if three pieces were now locked as if they had their own places to spend the damn time to take care of what had happened. Hania was moving to his own Vice Captain presence and how to take care of it. Ard, the damn Captain moved at his own mix, and even as the movements that he was taking was a lt of movement…Zaven stood with the others as his moved as though he was alone at least for this time. His mind racing as he thought about the recent events, the talks he gave and how he helped until he was now pushed to ensure he could do even more. The future of his world, and well the entire time was now in the hands of the bastard that needed us to come to him and fight him. However while they came to this place they also were met of three individuals, each with their own unique strengths and experiences. Hania was now still though pushing through as a strong role of Vice Captain while still bringing a hell of a fight to the daemon that was questioning and causing a quiggle with the VC. Zaven, as well as the other made their movements just like the fantastic captain Ard remained as Zaven’s best friend, and was making the captain of the Golden Dawn big bastard try to be even better for his moment. Zaven felt the mix of emotions even now as he watched small daemon’s be rushed out of the way, but he realy needed to step further, but as he was continuing his motions there was an incident that he was not ready for. He was proud of his those he had come to as those that he could trust now as he has moved so much for what he now did as such a daunting and a strong wanting to do till the end task. but he was also worried about the challenges they would all three faceing their stopping issues, but they needed to work like they were absolutely there. Moving further in the real angers and different issues was making him move like the moment did not mean that he would quit at ANY time. He knew that the future would be full of danger and uncertainty and wondered how they would NOW handle it so it would not such contine. Zaven at first was seeing as if he was just an issue with the team that was here, but he also thought about his own true role in all of this. He was not as powerful or experienced as the others, but he was determined to do his part. To push him like so even as he just swung and attacked in a way to stop any issues…Artorious knew that he had to be strong and courageous, but he also wished to show even more that opened up the issued that were there in the life he had. The words caught Zaven and he let no more issues keep him at the worried or practical showing of how his life was ready. The nod that he gave to the one that spoke to him meant a lot, but the push when and what the Capital Dawn and power should do…he then received more mana and was practically he had to be ready to face whatever came his way. As Zaven nodded, still performing as he showed to be almost fully lost in thought, he felt a sense of hope. He knew that the future would be difficult and especially if they were to fail, but he also knew that his friends were capable of great things. He believed that they could overcome any obstacle and create a better future for everyone. [break][break]
”Fuck it, let’s get going so we can cause a great movement and hopefully cause a distraction here while we make a move to get to help Hania and Ardere. Even while doing that, we will stop any and EVERY that come near us. Hraban, and everybody…get ready and it will soon be time to go.” It was then that Zaven did not turn to all of them as he found what might have been changing. He would not be changing like he was being looked to do. ”EREBUS! COME FORTH!” He said as he waited nothing longer and freaking set forth the large large summon of his best archmage golem as the first showing came forth for everyone to see the large 4 meter golem had a wonderful final push. Erebus came forward, as it was summoned…It was actually as if this is what Zaven saw, like the very thought of death. It was looking as if it wore a fake and shadow like cloak wrapped around it to show how brutal it was. Up next it showed as it seemingly formed, holding an exact copy just like Zaven’s Grimoire in its slender left hand, but it also showed a set up bow in its right. The final look of the summoned nearly alive form as the face was never seen from under the hood, but besides that two glowing eyes showed strongly forth, and a shining set of teeth that was ready to mark where it’s head should be located. It was always watching, before reaching down for the team left as it started to smile as Zaven showed as his eyes began to even show as he was smiling. The Captian and the others that were ready now as he began to give the golem the order to clear the area and to accept its next victim…they needed to help all where they could. ”Thank you for the help everyone...I truly mean that, but before we all leave, I will ensure that I will talk to you and give you all time to talk. However, NOW IT IS TIME THAT WE WILL ALL BUST THROUGH!! WE WILL MAKE IT AND ENSURE WE CAN HELP ALL!” He roared out loud strongly, hoping to cause an issue for all that can hear him so that they would become distracted. The golem would attack as it could and move where they could go.
