Sol moved to the area where it seemed people were hunting for easter eggs, the mantis thought this was an easy thing to do and would be entertaining as well as while he could easily spot some eggs already positioned in the area he had no doubt that there would be eggs placed in more difficult to find locations , as he got closer one of the attendants offered him a basket so he could participate and Sol took it with a soft smile.” thank you” he said kindly as moved further into the area, he passed by kids searching for eggs and celebrating with their parents when the found an egg and the green mantis was happy to see such joy happening today since while their kingdom had been thru trial after trial the people were still strong and moving on with such things like this showing that all the doom and gloom never truly lasted. Sol caught sight of a brightly colored pink egg near shoulder length in a tree and he gently reached up and gently grabbed it to place it into his basket.
Before he could finish the motion however he caught sight of a little girl no more then 6 years old looking like she was holding back tears due to not being able to get any eggs due to other kids getting their first, Sol moved over and got down on a knee before he gently held out the egg to the girl who blinked in surprise.”here little one no one should feel left out today I'll find another one” he said softly as the girl gained a big smile and went over to show her parents the gift that she was given as Sol stood back up and spotted another egg hidden deep within some bushes and he would pull out the pale blue egg and place it in his basket.

Easter egg hunts were a game of celebrating the new life of spring in a very creative way. It was something Kea had never participated in, but he had heard servants talk about it for a brief time every year before he had become a magic knights as a green mantis. Being able to do it at least once brought excitement to their already brimming and sparkling eyes. It didn't take long for him to grab up a basket, though the green mantis member didn't immediately run off to collect. To the Vermillion it was something to admire, the many tiny pieces of wood that had been cut thin and woven together. Could he even count how many there were? But his mind became distracted from the wonderment of the basket towards the source of a sound. “Eggy! Mama, eggy!” A small voice cried out. A child that looked barely able to walk and talk held a colorful painted egg out with pride. With the location the child was it, it was likely just hidden in a tall lump of grass. Even so, the little girl looked so proud of herself. The mother leaned down, hugging her child and congratulating her before suggesting they put it in the basket and keep going. For some reason watching that hurt in the chest. 'She never congratulated me or sister for anything, did she?' Of course those thoughts had nothing to do with the mother with her child, but a very different woman that was nowhere near the location. But for some reason it also made him smile and feel bursting with joy, the pain ebbing away, giving space for joy. “I bet a lot of kids are having fun.” Was it still okay for himself as an adult to participate? It was. Looking more, he started spotting adults looking around as well. 'I'll try finding eggs in spots the kids are less likely to look in. I don't want to spoil their young excitement.
Their joy is precious, I want to see more! But I also want to find things myself!' His pale form started to speed around the open area a bit before jumping a tree. It didn't take much effort for him to climb up, but it didn't change the lack of colorful painted eggs at the top. There was a birds nest however, causing him to carefully make his way back down. It was only after he got out of the tree that the an noticed the trunk had a tree hollow that went a little deep. Would this spot have one?! His entire facial expression practically shouted this as the young man reached in. He did not realize how lucky he was to find an Easter egg there and not a bird or lizard. It was a wooden goose egg with a line that certainly suggested that it could be opened. It looked white everywhere with blue raspberry colored stripes, hot pink colored stamp markings shaped like tulip flowers patterned between the stripes. The red head pulled it towards himself, eyes sparkling with excitement. What would be inside?!
“I'll look inside after the hunt. I want to keep you though, my first easter egg ever.” He tried to speak this in a low tone, but it was bubbled with joy and excitement. This was as quiet as they could be while this happy. 'Do the tree roots have any under?' This was what he wondered, though he scanned the area a bit first. Why not? He was expecting to see people having fun again, but was pleasantly surprised to see “Sol?” If he didn't have the basket, he certainly would have tackled them with a hug. Instead? There was a lot of excited waving. “I didn't expect to see you!”

Sol was just about to grab another egg as he heard a familier voice call out to him, he would turn before he blinked in surprise as he saw a fellow squad member Kea approaching him,The albino noted the mans excited attitude and he was glad he was enjoying himself and having a good time. Sol thought that the young man had a lot of potential and while he was a bit naive about some things he did have a good heart and a decent head on his shoulders and the world tree user knew he just needed to help guide him a bit.”ah its good to see you out and about and having fun Kea” he said with a small smile as the younger mantis mentioned he didnt expect to see him.”[as much as I need to throw myself into training for what is to come rest is just as important and I know that Amaya likes this event as well so I wanted to spend time with her though I have yet to find her due to the number of people here” he stated since it was true that he was training himself into the ground without proper rest and relaxation to balance it the training would do more harm then good.
“seems we have both found a few eggs it seems the Blue Roses did really well hiding them this year for the older participants” he observed since he avoided ones in plain sight since its clear those were ment for children and there was no fun in making kids sad so Sol went for more difficult targets such as those that were high or placed in odd places since his height worked to his advantage for those. “ how many of the eggs have you managed to get Kea?” he asked curious how well the young man had been at finding the hidden treasures in the area.
Hunting Eggs was something Yugo didn’t get to do as a child. He got to dictate where the servents searched for them, but he had not gotten to go egg hunting as a child himself. Yet as he stood here with a small basket, he couldnt help but blush with a bit of embarrassment yet he sawother adults participating and even other Magic Knights. So he knew it wasn’t socially taboo. And yet… He couldn’t help but feel a big of childish reasoning that he should act proper and like an adult. Yet part of him yearned and burned to go egg hunting. Hed let the children get the easier ones and watch as a rather tall magic knight spoke to a child before speaking to another person as said person approched them. Yet for Yugo he thought he recognized the man. Sol wasn’t it? Hed heard of him and his exloits through reports and stories he heard along his travels. A well skilled Magic Knight if ever there was one. Yugo smiled but continued along his way. He had a lot to do today to gather enough gifts to give to Joseph. [break][break] Yet he knew from experience from the year before that to get the most gifts one had to look for the harder eggs as an adult. He knew hed get nothing if he was a jerk and took from the younger kids. He made his way up a building and looked around to see what he could see. He saw a few challanging eggs and that’s what hed go for right away. He would use his speed to make his way toward the first of the three eggs he saw, it was located on the very tip top branch of a tall tree, held with a magic against the tree no doubt till someone claimed it. he stood at the bottom of the tree and looked up, it took a mment of gazing at the tree that Yugo realized hed never climbed a tree before, or thought how one even would. Could… he climb a tree? He could use his golems but…it feels like cheating to do that. Like he didn’t really work for the egg. “Alright, well…. new experiences require action, action must be taken for personal growth.” hed place the magical basket on his hip, and begin to look for a first foot hold. Hed soon find one and after a moment to gather the courage of a young man doing something stupid for he first time in his life. Hed begin to climb. And once he began to climb, he couldn’t stop. It was like hed let loose all the build up energy and by the time he got to the top, he was panting but smiling like a giddy idiot. He couldn’t help but look around and gaze in amazement he laughed and laughed feeling the addrenalen pounding through his blood. His fingers were heurting and even bled just a little bit from the climb. [break][break] As he finally reached for the egg, a sudden crack and a splitting of wood caused Yugo to yell in freight as he fell, fell long and harhd enough that by the last impact on the ground, he landed on his back, dressed in his magicla armor comprised of darkness, yet he groaned as it shattered like glass and the spell ended having taken enough damage to cancel the spell. He groaned painfully and just laid there, bruised and the wind knocked out of his chest, yet he was uninjured otherwise. He lifted up his hand holding up the egg and with a pained voice he spoke. “I got… the egg…” he gently set his arm down. “Who thought…id ever…climb a tree….” he groaned in pain, and curled up a bit, smiling but tears in his eyes as he felt the pain. A pain of something hed never have been able to do before his parents died. “Cant telll… joseph aboutt his…” hed laugh and groan in pain. After a few more minutes hed stand back up, and dust himself off as best he could. He hurt still, but it was much less painful just by waiting. [break][break] Hed look down and place the egg in the basket. As he walked a bit shakily till he could walk without being in pain. It took about 10 minutes to reach the location and Yugo would find himself staring down a new challenge once again. Yet this one was oddly less scary despite it all. It was just a ver shallow river, with an egg one a rock not even in the water itself. Yet as he collected it, he realized it wasn’t about it being hard, but he had to come out of his way past where most others would probably stop and hed find… a wonderful natural sight. There were times Yugo found use for his perfect recollection, yet more oftne then not now aways it just acted as a way to repeat his mistakes over and over. Yet in this moment, in this beautiful day that only happens under the correct happenings of the universe…he knew hed be calling back to this moment. Hed take it in for as long as he could. [break][break] When he was done, hed make his way to the last egg he thought might be there. Hed walk towards the location only to hear a growl. It was that of a wolf, or canine of some sorts. Yugo drew his sword without hesitation. This was the location farthest out he had seen, nearly an hour out of his way but it was also the very last portion of the property used for the egg hunt, and he knew it had to have a at least one egg within its location. When he saw the mana beast he knew hed been right, the beast was a large dog like contrust that had the egg embedded in its forehead. Hed e=engage with the dog, in a combat driven exhange where Yugo spent most of it dodging and learning how to handle this golem like beast. Yet with the same skill hed executed the wild boar with on his way to the festival hed end the golems existance and claim the egg. He felt a pride grow inside him, yet it wasn’t like a wild uncontroled pride. It was one with the message attached. “You earned this, don’t abuse it.”. hed thank the beast, even knowing it was a golem hed ended its existance and that felt…wrong to him. Hed used his darkness magic to do it, so it wouldn’t feel pain if it could feel pain. He knew it was likely on auto pilot, but even if it was being totally controlled he didn’t want to cause unneeded suffering. [break][break] Upon arriving at the booth to give his eggs, they were checked and he smiled. “I made sure to go for thoses so I did not take from anyone else. I enjoyed the view very much so.” after collecting his prizes hed walk away, the stains from hitting the tree branches made it clear hed fallen from a tree. He would quickly make his way toward the egg painting festival event. He was excited and eager to enjoy his day out getting gifts to surprise joseph with.

Kea didn't have any competitive drive in his person, not even the slightest. This was on purpose, as the child conceived as a spare. The one that was supposed to succeed was his sister and other relatives. Even in an event that had a finite amount of eggs to find, the man only wanted to enjoy it. “Are you having fun? The weather is great, it's pretty out, and I found my first egg at my first ever egg hunt! Did you find any eggs yet? I'm sure you'll eventually find her.” The man held up the egg to Sol happily before putting it back in the basket with a smile. “Reading and hearing about fake painted eggs that can open up are really different than actually seeing one. I wanna find more, see more, and find out what's inside later. Even seeing what plants are like during spring is amazing. So many things are blooming and likely! It's so colorful and pretty.” After saying that, the young man started crouching down and poking his hands around the roots of the trees. He didn't know where eggs would normally be hidden, but roots seemed like a good hiding spot to him.
While he did push an egg out, it seemed the red head missed it all together. Even while pushed out of its woody hiding spot, it was still well hidden with a yellow and green color pattern pushed into some yellow flowers. It camouflaged well and the Vermillion was not really the best at seeing through such tricks of sight yet. Thinking the spot was completely unfruitful in the root department, he quickly got back up and started stretching a bit. He was smiling the entire time with excitement, even when thinking they had failed to find a second egg. “You need to throw yourself into training? Is it the deamon thing you and Amaya mentioned before?” Expectations wasn't really something Kea ever had much practice with. Yes, he had always been expected to behave and do well, but that was different than the sort of weight Sol carried, or his own sister. She had been expected to get stronger and better, to achieve and climb ranks. This green mantises freedom was very well appreciated and loved.
The blue violet eyed individual only found joy as a magic knight, even in his mistakes. He would keep trying to do his best, but because he wanted to. A feeling of bliss came from being a magic knight, doing his best to do good, and growing. Maybe it was bad that this wasn't accompanied by fear or pressure, or maybe it was just a sign that he lacked fear. “Hm... Where should I look next?”

As he heard Kea throw question after question at him Sol chuckled before he held up a hand to calm the boy down.”slow down Kea in descending order Im enjoying myself greatly and I have found a few eggs though I sacrificed one for a child who was not having any luck with collecting eggs since no one should feel left out on a day like today” he said knowing that for such an event it was better to give someone some happiness then to hoard it all and for a child this time of year was important given the last few turn of events that have happened with the daemons and kikka. On the mention of his training and if the daemons were really that bad the taller man had to resist the urge to sigh before he spoke up.” Kea the best way I can put it is that if we fail on this what happened with kikka will likely happen on a bigger scale and with much more devastating effects need I remind you what that town dealt with for months” he said his tone showing that he had experience with the last venture.
Even to this day that battle against Sven and the others still left scars and while he had healed and adapted in his own way he still never looked at the darkness the same way again. “I need to be as strong as possible for this the future hinges on it” he explained. As Kea kept looking for another egg Sol Spotted one nearby him peaking out from a small pile of rocks and he would reach down and pull a pale blue egg from the rocks and placed it into his basket before he turned to Kea.”dont be afraid to look high they are particularly fond of hiding some of them in the high up tree branches” Sol advised since it made more sense to do so to give the adults a bigger challenge.
