In this world, Magic is Everything. All people, all races, are granted with the power to perform mystical and magical feats via grimories, mystical tomes granted to each and every child on their 15th birthday. Those blessed by the mana can have their names written down in legend.

By taking this perk, your magic is able to push past the normal limits of your body's speed. When using a physical reinforcement spell that buffs your speed, you can increase it by an additional 5 m/s. At Grand rank, you can increase said spells by 10 m/s. (Note: these bonuses do not stack.)
You may apply 1 Attack Creation, Defense Creation, Physical Reinforcement, Supplementary Creation, or Transformation Spell to your golems. This spell must be cast by you or an item you own.
The user can completely mask their mana signature and presence from anyone regardless of either's sensory stat or Ki abilities. This may last up to three posts before it is faded. This can be used twice a thread.
Those with this perk will be able to make their illusions harder to see through than normal. They will now require the needed sensory to see through an illusion to increase by 2 per 10 control an illusionist has.
Those with this perk will be able to make their transformations harder to see through than normal. Instead of increasing the required sensory to see through it by 2 for every 10 in control the user has, they will now require the needed sensory to see through the transformation to increase by 2 per 5 control the user has.
These people seem to flow through the universe opting to be reborn as a similar version of their past life.
Players will keep their same tier of grimoire
They will retain 80% of their current stat pool
They will gain 75% of their current gold pool
They start with the base amount of spell points plus an addition 30. Addtionally they gain an extra +10 spell points for every rank past junior that they start out as.
After initial character creation, stat points delegated to your control stat only count for double. Such as 1 point to control equals 2 points to control.
5 times in a thread your mana Regeneration can be Tripled! This triples the effects of both the base regen and from other mana perks, but not from supplementary construct bonuses.
This Perk allows you to specialize in an additional type of magic. You're allowed to have one more Magic Specialisation than would normally be allowed for your Rank. Takes up TWO Perk Slots. This Perk may only be taken twice.
This perk can be applied to a stat that does not currently have an increase perk tied to it. The stat that this is tied to cannot benefit from prodigy gains. For every 3 points your total stat pool increases, the applied stat gains +1 stat point. A great perk for those that don’t have time to train all their stats fairly.
A quirky perk that allows your element to naturally gain a property that is not naturally associated with that element. This does not give your element any sort of advantage or weakness over another element. It will still make them 100% the same strength/weakness as before. It is purely for flavor purposes or can add a different means of dealing damage, like adding a burning feature to an element that would not normally have said feature. For example, water that burns like acid. When picking this oddity, please limit the effect to something that is in your element's grimoire tier and do not make it broken. Staff can at any point in time force you to change it. Elements oddity can be turned on or off depending on the spell being used. If a spell is going to utilize the oddity it should be made mention in the spell's creation! Platinum elements and paint cannot be picked as oddities. Your oddity is [Cosmic]
You start off completely unknown. It is harder for you to gain notoriety within the underworld. Your name will likely only pass the lips of people as murmurs or rumors. It will be as if you appeared and disappear without creating so much as creating a ripple. This of course comes with some drawbacks, since its harder to get your name out there. Those who gain this perk find it harder to become known as it completely prevents you from gaining any infamy from smaller crimes and halves your infamy for things like murder. At the beginning of the month 5 infamy gets knocked off the infamy you have gained. This perk must be taken before a person gains 41 infamy. Infamy of a crime can be negated IF they can cover their tracks to a satisfactory level
This perk will do absolutely nothing for you! You must buy before you become Grand rank. Once you do become Grand Rank and own this perk, it will automatically give you two extra perk slots! Patience really does pay off! This cannot be applied to NPCS!
For every post that a person is in combat, they will gain +3 m/s in their base speed capping at +30 m/s speed or 10 posts. If they step out of combat, their speed boost would drop by 5 m/s per post until they reach their base speed.
Those with this perk will have their total amount of mana skin increased by an extra Senior rank spell's worth. Once the player hits Grand this will increase to an extra Grand rank.
Some individuals are berserkers that naturally build up raw power as they fight, others are able to transfer pain into power through raw willpower or rage. Characters with this perk gain +10 to their Durability or Power for every Junior rank of damage they are currently sustaining to their health, this is capped at +15 naturally and raises to a cap of +20 at Grand.
Allows you to gain +1 advance spec perks for a certain magic spec. This is only applicable to one spec per purchase, these cannot stack. This is applicable for all ranks and will let you bypass your rank’s restriction on the number of advanced perks one may have. Sage of [Magic Spec] does not give you an advanced spec perk. You still have to use a perk slot to gain the additional advanced spec. You may buy up to 3 of these perks. Each time you purchase the cost of the perk goes up +1 slot.
You naturally learn 5 + 1 per floor in a dungeon, additional stat and spell points once they clear a dungeon, these points cannot be doubled with other perks.
Stats that are dependent on rank only or other stats, can only be changed via spells, perks. or rank up.

Jin's eyes turned away from Aelia and she had quietly taken the mana beast elsewhere, and he had already knew what she was doing. It wouldn't be the end of the world if Sol was aware of her magic element, but hiding it was ok for now. Eventually she may have to use her magic in front of him though.
"Where did I find my lantern? A small mysterious trader in Babel not to long ago in fact. To be fair he did warn me that the lantern could be...troublesome but I purchased it anyway because it was a sentient object. They are indeed very rare, so I took the opportunity to own one. And thought over time it would have my best interest at hand, and not attack me or my allies. But I was wrong sadly. Though it still claims to have my best interest at hand oddly enough. It does seem to be having quite a bit of fun though. Anyway it must be destroyed. Such a chaotic and untrustworthy tool cannot be allowed to roam around even in these lands." Jin answered Sol's question and rolled up his arm sleeve just once to give his wrists some room. His long dagger still in his hand, ready to be of use at any time.
Aelia had came back and the earlier mana beast was gone, it was most likely apart of her family now. Which had Jin thinking was the lantern giving them beasts for Aelia to add? It knew how her magic worked, it stated that fact multiple times and had constantly stated he was trying to bring out their truest potentials. Was his lantern actually telling the truth?
But it didn't matter anymore, as the threats started to appear once again. A few meters from them ghostly green and black specters were walking towards them slowly. Probably more summons from his lantern, at the very moment didn't exactly pose a threat because they were not close enough. But they would have to be dealt with soon enough.
"Mriggan?" Jin called out loud, but there was no answer in return. Jin could see the faint small eyes from his lantern deep into the dark forest. He instantly pointed his index finger outward towards the eyes of his lantern, a small red void in the shape of a sphere appeared and in the next moment a torrent of highly destructive void energy blasted outward to hit the lantern. Malphas
Jin had a annoyed look on his face, his spell did not strike his target as he intended. But what was left in place was trees and parts of the ground that were completely erased. The eyes of the lantern had moved, it was proving to be a very tricky nuisance. He was going to have make use of his rift formations on set locations to destroy the lantern. But for right now Jin's focus went back towards the ghostly enemies coming towards them. The white haired rogue with a swipe of an arm threw his dagger and it struck his target dead on, the blade piercing right through it's head. He then closed the distance and grabbed the dagger and brought the blade down slicing it's entire body in half the ghostly form simply dispersed into green and black mist. That was one of about eight in total. They weren't that difficult to deal with, but he could hear the laughs from his lantern. "Haaahaahahahahahaaaaaa. In time. I time. The truest potential will eventually show."

Jin Zhongli
Much to Jin's surprise a familiar presence had entered his sensory range, he could never confuse his siblings mana for someone else's. This was his big brother Xue, was Jin being watched again? He highly doubted it at least this time. But even with all that in his thoughts he wasn't going to break his character for tonight.
"Natural curiosity?? No no! We are here to solve the problems with this haunted and forsaken mansion. At least that is our job. That is what a exorcist does and I am the finest exorcist in the region! Me and my partner! She is a wraith who has found reason to help the living!" Jin said gesturing to Aelia. Aelia was dressed as a wraith for her costume it was fitting and the costumes worked well together.
But for Jin he wasn't just in costume, he was entirely committed to his role as an exorcist for the evening. Pretending to be someone else was one of Jin's favorite activities, his brother would probably know that well. Maybe even Aelia might have picked up on it over the year. Jin moved his large hat over his face for dramatic effect and pointed to the mansion. "Now you are free to join us in our crusade you masked avenger! You seem the capable sort! I suspect many things will wish to cause us harm once we enter! It is most imperative that we be on our guard! I shall take lead!" He said wasting no time to head towards the front doors and open them.
Once opened and fully inside, Jin was hit with a gust of wind and didn't surprise him much, his eyes and sensory taking in the complete surroundings of the first room. When everyone was inside the doors slammed shut behind the last person to enter, and the force of wind actually got rid of all the candle lights. This didn't shock Jin to much at all, he was used to dungeons being like this now. He would out his left hand out and point upwards alerting the group of the many Blood fangs that were resting on the ceiling.
Because of his high sensory abilities he was able to navigate through the room with no effort, gesturing for Aelia and Xue to stick close to him. Suddenly there was a flash of lightning and thunder from the outside, that was bright and loud it may actually wake the blood fangs above. Jin looked up to see their reaction, and luckily none of them woke up. Jin then put his index finger over his lips and looked towards the others and began to whisper. "I suspect even the slightest of noises will awake our blood thirst predators above."
Jin continued to move towards the next door, the faster they could get out of this room the better. Although he was pretty confident if a fight did break out they could take them out with little trouble, but it was always best to avoid a dangerous fight of one could. But he was sure if older sister Varia was here she wouldn't hesitate to start a fight just for the heck of it. Luckily his brother Xue wasn't like that, at times he could definitely be the scariest of all his siblings but he was always sound of mind and patience and stuck to a plan. Aelia was the same in certain ways she only resulted to violence once she truly needed to. She was not one to seek it, unless of course she took a job too even then she showed a notable restraint. But she might think about adding these bats to her family. Once Jin has thought this he looked towards and made eye contact and then looked up towards the sleeping blood fangs. "Family?" he asked her in a whisper wanting to know if that is what she wanted. If so the exorcist wasn't opposed to engaging with them if it meant strengthening her family if that is what she wanted. If not he would simply move on, there was bound to be other more noteworthy threats she could add to her family deeper in the mansion.

Jin Zhongli
Jin had grown quite fond of going through dungeons. They provided near perfect ways to train while gathering some much needed equipment and money. Especially if one were being paid to go through one. The time had come to go through another dungeon one that was brand new actually. The KABOCHA OHAKA MANSION as it has been called by the locals that were around, it left quite the creepy impression on people. And most of them wanted it gone or at least dealt with. It didn't help that the mansion like dungeon had a wide spread of dark mist that gave people the feeling they were being watched by someone or something. There are currently quite a bit of theories going on about why this dungeon formed, and the white haired rogue was determined to figure it out.
Jin approached the dungeon with his right hand rubbing his chin, formulating all kinds of thoughts and hypotheses. But what stood out about him the most was his outfit of choice, or better yet his costume. There were words that one needed to be dressed in a costume in order to be let inside. Jin looked what could be called a spiritual detective or exorcist. Wearing a wide brown wizard looking hat, a long black cape draped over a black and grey kimono. Some round beads as a necklace, and matching ones for bracelets on his wrists. Jin also had his mouth covered with a cloth, it was fair to say Jin looked pretty different than he normally did.
To add some extra flair Jin not only dressed like some kind of spirits detective, but he was committed to acting like one. He was no longer Jin Zhongli the rogue. No now he was Jin the Spirit Detective. "Hmmmmmmm dark mist about. Strange feelings creeping up ones spine, the constant feeling of being watched by someone. There are definitely some dark foul play afoot here. And we will find out won't we!" he said looking behind him where he would lay his eyes on his partner Aelia.

Description: On the edges of the forsaken region a dark creepy mansion has appeared out of nowhere, causing concern and paranoia to show in those who come across it. From the mansion area, a heavy dark mist flows out and covers an expansive area adding to the feeling that you are being watched by some unseen force. There are those who believe old folktales that the restless spirits of the damned worked together to create this manifestation of their anger towards those who have what they no longer do. Life. With apparent dark forces at work, the haunted house known as the Kabocha Ohaka took form. But was that a fact? What was behind the door?

These bat-like creatures band together to take on enemies and would swoop down from the ceiling to attack anyone or thing that disturbs them. They attack by sinking their fangs into their enemies. While one is easy to take down, a swarm can become overwhelming. The Blood-Fangs have been known to use shadow and sound magic. They specialise in attack creation, sensory and hex and curse.
These skeleton foot soldiers stand with pride as they wait for anyone who doesn’t belong in the Kabocha Ohaka to show up. Once that happens, they move from their post and go into a state of defending the room. They will fight with their swords and shields to defeat all those who trespass. Elements they commonly use are either bone or Common metals and specialize in attack creation and defence creation.
These scarecrow defenders will stand as the last line of defense on the first floor and prefers to stay back by the door to the second floor. They are equipped with fire magic to combat any threat that stands before them. Using the attack creation, transformation and restraining, the Strawfright uses its fire to restrain its target and then they go on the offensive.

As the group enters the house, the door slams shut and all the lights go out which makes it hard to traverse forward unless an item that produces light or someone with magic that can create light is present. Every so often flashes of fork lightning will brighten the room showing a door at the other end of the room. Those with at least 45 sensory or tier 2 Ki would be able to navigate the cluttered and worn room reducing the chance of disturbing the Blood Fangs resting on the ceiling. Every round you are in this room you must roll 1d4 to see if the lightning flashes (Even if it does odd it remains dark) If the lightning flashes then you must roll 1d4 to find out if it disrupts the otherwise sleeping bats. (Even if it will disturb the bats odd it won't.) If the bats hear a noise they will attack in waves so be warned.

With an element of oil, they use attack magic, supplementary construct and physical reinforcement.
These flaming Jack O'lantern head warriors defend the Kabocha Ohaka as a precursor to the boss. They love attacking with their axes which create a flame with each swing that can burn their target. They are not ones to rush into battle and would prefer to wait until the target gets close to them. They are known to use lava or fire elements and specialize in attack creation, Physical Reinforcement and Hex and Curse.

This is just a semi hiatus, life is really busy right now. Moving, getting promoted at my job (which equals more work and less free time). I just need some time to get things in order and I barely have the time to rp this week! But I'm always around!

Jin made his way towards his little sister with a small smile on his face, he was happy to see her and in good health. But he did wonder why she wasn't in the estate, she had gotten back home after years of being away. He doubted mother would want her away from home to much now. So she was probably out here trying to get some time away, couldn't blame her. She spoke and said his fake name, and then asked about his eyes. Jin chuckled to himself, they are fine as he let her lift the blindfold up. His blue eyes were still there and as vibrant as always. "I'm just testing something is all." he replied to her, thinking about Aelia and her need for a blindfold.
She then told him about Xue, calling him Delun his own fake name. Jin smiled "I know. Looks like its time for me to go back home." he said softly. He was honestly surprised it took this long, about one year away from home. Mother wanted him back, enough time had passed probably. And just a few moments later Xue had shown up.
Xue was one of Jin's older brothers, if he were being honest. He prefered Xue bring him back over Kiro or Yungen. Varia too would have been very annoying. Kiro was just stoic and at times scary, though he would never truly hurt his younger siblings. Kiro just had a presence about him, that you didn't want to make him angry. And Yungen just liked to make things as difficult as he could.
Jin smiled at his brother Xue's comments and even laughed when he commented on his rugged appearance. "Haha. Yea I guess I do look more rugged than before. Life as a vagabond will do that to you." Jin joked about his appearance and situation. He grabbed his older brothers arm with a soft embrace and whispered. "I've missed you Xue Xue." he said honestly. Jin missed all his siblings, even the annoying ones. Not that Xue was one of the annoying ones, though he had his moments.
But their reunion was cut short, a very familiar presence made itself known. So much so, that Jin's eyes widened and then settled a few seconds later. It came from outside the town itself, signaling to all them that they should head to him. It was Kiro the eldest of all the Zhongli siblings the heir to the family after their mother. He guessed Xue wasn't alone then, which made sense. He always had a hunch Kiro was watching his every move. "Looks like big brother Kiro is here too, we shouldn't keep him waiting." Jin whispered to his bother and sibling as he walked out the Inn.
Heading outside of the town towards the forest, a tall figure dressed in a all black male kimono. A Katana at his hip, with his left arm resting on it. It was Kiro Zhongli and to Jin he looked exactly the same, a single stoic expression on his face. But this time he had a slight hint of irritation. Something annoyed him. When all three showed he spoke no one was around so it was ok to use real names. "Xue, Yua...Jin." that was his way of greeting them.
Jin smiled at his eldest brother. "Kiro it's good to see you again." he said simply. He wasn't nervous in fact he expected Kiro to be the one to bring him back home. But he didn't think mother would send Xue as well. He knew neither of his brothers would hurt him, unless he tried to resist them to much and gave them no choice.
Kiro had tiny smile on his face before walking forward towards Yua, he brought up his hand slowly and stroked her hair softly. "Mother is worrying about you Yua." he said simply and that was all he said to her. Kiro was man of little words, he said what needed to be said and that was it. He then turned towards Xue and Jin and slight irritation on his face showed again.
"Jin I was sent to watch over you shortly after your...departure." he said but Jin honestly wasn't surprised by this. "Mother wanted you back two months ago, but I failed to do so." Jin looked shocked to hear Kiro say that out loud, his eldest brother didn't fail at anything. Especially when given orders by mother. "Failed?"
Kiro then looked over to Xue. "So Xue's appearance here means mother has grown impatient...even with me." Jin still looked amazed by his eldest brothers words. Kiro was looked at as the leader of all his brothers and sisters, he failed at nothing. He was the perfect heir for the family, the perfect warrior, the perfect assassin. The fact that he would willingly fail at orders given to him by mother was baffling. Kiro walked over to Jin and softly removed the blindfold from his younger brother's face and handing it to him nicely folded. "It's time to go home." he said simply.
He looked over at Xue and nodded in his direction, letting Xue know he had done well. Kiro took a few steps back and placed his hand on his sword and in a blink of eye sliced into the open air creating a spatial portal back to the Zhongli Estate with an open hand he would let his younger siblings step in the portal first.

Name of Spell: Corvus Belial Elemental Type: Void Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Attack Creation Range & Speed: 150 M | 123 M/S Mana Cost: 50 | 25 Stats Effected: + 12 Power Applicable Perks: Battle Knight, Apex Predator, Quick Shot, Elemental Oddity: Cosmic
Description: Belial "Used to characterize the wicked or worthless. No more will any worthless person pass again. In his entirety he will certainly be cut off and be gone. Completely erased." Corvus: Belial is a refinement of Void's destructive potential to completely erase anything it touches theoretically. Similar to spells before it like Saleos or Raim, Belial is solely focused on it's offensive output and maximizing that damage. Capable of dealing Grand rank damage. Creating a rift of space in front of him, by pressing his middle finger down with his thumb on his left hand. The rift is a large destructive purple orb 8 feet in height and length, that can be fired going in a single direction ripping whatever comes into it's path from existence. Jin can create this spell anywhere within a 150 meter distance, creating a literal void rift in that space. Belial can appear in an instant like manner due to the nature of void magic, the rift does take the time to form at a position based on the distance of the caster and the speed of a spell of the same rank. If he wishes Jin is able to create a invisible marker within the same range of the spell, allowing him to use the spell at a later time. When used the marker will vanish and need to be recast. The marker takes the shape of a purple star, no bigger than a human sized hand. With the use of ammo rules additional rifts can be created, in accordance to his control and he can prevent allies from being harmed by the attack. This spell can cause blindness following the blinding rules.
Name of Spell: Vela Bathym Elemental Type: Void Rank & Spell Type: Grand | Physical Reinforcement | Sensory (Illusion) Range & Speed: 110 M AOE | 123 M/S Mana Cost: 50 | 25 Stats Effected: Speed + 30 M/S (Self) | - 12 Sensory (Opponent) Applicable Perks: Full Blitz, Master Illusionist, Cold Blooded, Area of Triumph, Quick Shot, Elemental Oddity: Cosmic
Description: Vela Bathym is a much more potent upgrade from his previous spell Vassago, this time just pressing his index finger and middle finger of his right hand to the palm of his left hand can activate the spell. Vela Bathym can appear in an instant like manner due to the nature of void magic. Channeling the energy from within the void, Jin is able to create the illusion exact clones of himself and his allies throughout the battlefield tricking his enemies sight. The clones are capable of moving independently as well for further trickery. But this time instead of just effecting sight, Jin can now also manipulate the sound and mana sensory of targets also effecting their sensory of smell. Making it much more difficult to track the proper target. Using the sound to mimic speech of himself, or footsteps and things alike. And mana sensory for those solely relying on it, to choose the wrong copy. Once a copy of himself or an ally is hit, it simply fades into a cosmic purple and blue mist and gets replaced by another. By coating himself in void energy, he can increase his speed, reactions, swiftness and velocity drastically but this effect will only happen for himself not his enemies or allies. Having the clones act as after images to further trick the opponent. Also given his assassin and cold blooded nature, Jin can completely mask his mana signature and presence from anyone. Making it even more difficult to figure out who the real Jin is. With ammo rules, he can not only prevent his allies from being affected by the illusion but add versions of them into the illusion. Requirements to see through this illusion is 120 Sensory +2 for every 10 control the user has. Description: 'Split the convergence, creating divergence'. An enhanced version of one of Jin's trademark spells Raim, and Vreal. Activated by bringing his middle finger in and pressing down on it with his thumb on his right hand. Creating a rift anywhere in his visual sight with a maximum distance of 150 meters, the rift takes the shape of a thin purple line that is 9 meters tall. Amon like Vreal and Raim before it is literally cutting a space between those two points, creating a split. It cannot be used directly on a living being or inside them, but when used on physical matter not backed by magic Jin is literally able to split tall walls, tall doors, floors, objects and items in half. Because of the level of magnitude that Amon has as spell it is theoretically erase space between two points, making this an extremely deadly spell. Using his control Jin is able to move the rifts around freely to also strike a target causing grand cutting damage. Jin can create a 'split' right in front of him and fire it off at an intended target. Atila Amon can appear in an instant like manner due to the nature of this magic. If he wishes Jin is able to create a invisible marker within the same range of the spell, allowing him to use the spell at a later time. When used the marker will vanish and need to be recast. The marker takes the shape of a red star, no bigger than a human sized hand. Following ammo rules, Jin can create more rifts in accordance to his control. But this is not all Atila Amon does, when using this spell Jin's own strength is greatly increased causing grand rank damage with every strike. This spell can cause blindness following the blinding rules.

Jin Zhongli
It was clear as day at this point that the planned training for them had gone all wrong. Even though Jin had a good handle of his emotions this would be the first time in a while he had been actually angry. His own lantern had seemingly betrayed him and tried to kill not only him but Aelia as well. While also doing it in front of a magic knight, whom was bound to start asking questions. Questions that Jin didn't want to answer at the moment. And this attack seemingly triggered something in the magic knight, that happened on these very same lands. Things had gotten so far off track the white haired rogue, took a moment to breathe and rub the temples of his nose.
It's not that he wasn't equipped with the mental fortitude to handle sudden disasters like the one they are facing now. The training a Zhongli receives is extensive and thorough, its more than just physical combat or how efficient you are with magic. The most important part of a Zhongli's training is their mind. Even in the harshest of conditions, and plans completely ruined do to unavoidable outside causes can you still dissolve the situation at hand? The short answer was yes, yes they could.
"Three daemons from Kikka." Jin said once he heard the words coming from Sol. He had only heard rumors of what happened in Kikka, and he tended not to believe in rumors to much. It was public knowledge that daemons were behind the attack in Kikka and they were dealt with. Jin had yet to face a daemon or anything of the like himself, that was magic knight business. In the back of his mind though, he was thinking that daemon attacks were becoming more and more frequent. It wouldn't be long before the threat my stretch beyond something the magic knights or the church could handle.
Jin would walk to small looking cabin area that wasn't so out in the open, listening to Sol talk about his time in Kikka. It was eye opening stuff, Jin had not really sought out any details of what happened in Kikka. The fact that Sol was so willing to talk about his time there, probably meant this stuff had been weighing him down. Especially considering what happened earlier. "Magic Knights have always been a funny organization." Jin replied to Sol's words after hearing he spent time in jail for disagreeing with an higher up. "Egos and positions can cloud minds very often. I've only meant a few magic knights who understand that."
Eventually Sol made it clear he wanted to ask questions, who could blame him. "Ask away. But i've got no plans on retreating and no need to catch my breath. My...lantern must be stopped, caught and dealt with before it does any real harm. It didn't beat us, it simply surprised us. Now knowing what it is truly capable of and what it is capable of doing, we should be much more prepared than before." Jin replied looking ahead. He pulled out his long dagger, and was about to summon his void golem raven for transport. But he held off for now, to answer Sol's questions.
Aelia was in his vision she seemed fine for now, he knew she would be able to handle well under pressure. But it was still refreshing to actually see it happen.

Jin could tell from Aya's body language she wanted to jump in to fight, one could only sit back and watch for long. Aya so far has been an interesting individual, a rogue a member of the Eclipse Ravens but so far only shown her healing abilities. There had to be more to her than that, more under the surface and that she hiding. One can reveal allot about themselves while in a fight, most of the time unknowingly so. She stated that she will try her best in making up for the fact that Echo and Zeus decided to bail on them. But Jin could care less about their departure, they were nothing more than a burden and an annoyance in his eyes. "No worries. Have some confidence in yourself!" he replied to her with a devilish grin on his face. Seeing the promise of another young assassin with some fire in their spirit, always brought a smile on his face.
Jin watched her in action, for starters she wasn't afraid to engage in physical close combat. That was good. And she was very quick on her feet, surprisingly so in fact. She caught her enemy off guard. What really mattered is what she did with that opening she created for herself. Could she capitalize on it? And she definitely did. She was very well trained in hand to hand combat, good use of speed, precision, balance and weight control. Taking her opponent down with swiftness and in quick succession. Finishing her opponent by stomping on him a few times to make sure the fight was over. "Ooohhhooooo. See I know a fighter when I see one." Jin said as she walked back over to him with a grin on his face.
After that the referee announced them as the winners obviously. As they had soundly defeated everyone put in their way. It seemed the fighting rounds were done for now, so Jin decided end his golem spell that he kept active all this time. There was no need for it right now, the duo headed into the next area. Which was more of a resting place, various groups of fighters and warriors were nursing their wounds and gathering themselves. "Hmm. Interesting." Jin said quietly. Like he thought before this place prized the art of fighting and competition. There was respect in that. He heard Aya's comments about Echo and Zeues leaving and he smirked. "We'll be just fine. They were getting in the way more than anything." Jin continued to walk behind Aya looking around the area.
He didn't need much rest at all, and despite facing the overwhelming numbers he had even take damage. Engaging in rigorous combat training procedures were normal for him growing up, he was ready to just move on. But why rush? Especially when Aya had found something very very interesting to do, making use of her healing abilities. There was allot of opportunity for her healing spells in this area, and from the looks of it she was going to take advantage. She instantly started to shout so the entire room could hear her, most of everyone had witnessed her healing abilities from earlier. And she was willing to heal people but of course for a fee, making Jin grin. The price was steep, as it should be. Some tried to call her out on it. But they wouldn't get far, she pointed to Jin whom simply waved with a wide smile. If anyone wanted a chance to beat him, they would need to be in tip top shape, not that it really mattered regardless though. Jin simply waved at them with a big smile on his face.
Eventually some people bought in and started dropping off their coin, it truly was a sight to see. Jin was liking this Aya Von Shurke quite a bit, she was reminding him of his sisters. "I like the way you think Von Shurke." he said to the pink haired healer robbing people the blind in broad daylight.
But it seemed there a few participants whom weren't to keen on what was going on. A group of five swordsmen walked over their mainly on Jin. "Ain't no reason to fear this man boys, the other one who was willing to kill on a whim left em high and dry. I can tell just by looking at this one, he ain't willing to take any lives. And that fancy magic he's used before, he ain't used it since. He's soft." the one in front spoke while looking at Jin.
But the white haired rogue only had a small smile on his face. It wasn't rare for this to happen, for Jin. He simply stood up and placed his hands in his pockets. Many people thought his lack of killing intent, meant he didn't have one and that he was weak and incapable of killing. But the truth was he was just really good at hiding it. A true master of his craft doesn't exude their intention to kill. In fact their killing intent is invisible to everyone, so when the time came no one saw it coming. That was the true way of the assassin, his mother's teachings drilled into him just like his other siblings. Despite all the swordsman's words, everyone still seemed to have some fear for Jin. He had proven what he was capable of thus far. Jin himself looked at the swordsman, still not really showing any signs of anger or even annoyance. "Guess we'll see you out there." he said simply as the group walked away.

-Flashback-
One year ago...
Jin Zhongli absent of his usual dark circle sunglasses, and his black blindfold wearing a simple black jacket and pants with sandals walking through his families estate. His bright blue eyes had a certain level of focus to them, he only had this look when he was about to have a serious discussion with his mother. Which in fact he was on his way to do, walking towards the main counseling room.
Jin had a reputation in the family of being a little rebellious, not because he wasn't completely devoted to his family. But because he was extremely devoted to his family. He loved each member of his family with every fiber in his heart, he longed to see the Zhongli thrive and grow to unprecedented heights. The idea of betraying his family and his mother would never even enter his mind, and if it did he would take his own life. But because of his extreme devotion to his family and it's legacy and future, Jin was a young man of many ideas for that future. And this usually led to many many arguments with his mother, which is why he had the reputation of being rebellious and always in trouble and probably spent the most time in Lěnggōng.
Jin walked into the counseling room, his mother Jukane was sitting in the main chair going over some details in the future with her must trusted advisors. She could tell from the looks of his face he wanted to speak with her, and it probably going to be another one of his ideas. Jukane knew all her children very very well, and loved them she never showed or would show them a sign that their mind as well as their other talents weren't important or valued. So she would never turn Jin away no matter what. "Jin you’re joining the council meeting today?" she asked him, knowing the families future meant allot to him, she always gave him the opportunity to join the meetings and that went for any of her children.
Jin nodded walking in giving a quick glance to the advisor's, he knew them and they knew him pretty well. They didn't get along much. The white haired rogue gave them a smug look and they just rolled their eyes. "Yes if you would allow it." he answered his mother's question in earnest. "Of course Jin you know you and any of your siblings are always welcome. But something is bothering you isn't it?" she replied looking back at her plans and then back at him.
She read him like a book Jin took a moment to pause, before walking forward and stating what was on his mind. "It's time to bring Yua back home." he said blatantly leaving his mother and the advisors looking at him.
-End Flashback-
Present day...
Jin was walking into Aries Garse with his blindfold over his eyes, although Aelia wasn't beside him he still got into the habit of wearing it. Being in Aries Garse was playing it close, he wasn't that far from being home. He missed home he truly did, but he knew he was doing what was best for the future not for him but for the family. It had been over a year ago since he had left suddenly, wanting to figure things out on his own and make his own connections. But never used his real name, since being out on his own only one person knew his real full name and that was Aelia.
Jin walked into the town and his high sensory skills easily picked up the location of his little sister Yua. He started to walk in her direction, he had last seen her months ago. She finally came back home from where she was staying, Jin had wanted her back home for quite some time. He wasted no time walking in her direction not hiding his presence.
