[attr="class","tamaflowersscroll"] The floral mage had never agreed to the aid of the unknown male, it was an unknown factor in a forest that from what she had seen thus far wanted to kill them. She had read over the briefing several times, more so as the orders came in to be prepared were issued, none of them ever said anything about outside aid. Then again, as far as she understood their assembly point was kept a secret from everyone other than the wizard king, his advisor and the group itself so seeing Jin there had already caused her to believe there were issues in security. She didn't believe he had just happened on the exact spot and was deciding how to enter one of, if not the most dangerous place in the kingdom at current. She hadn't said anything especially as they needed the aid but she was still cautious about Jin. [break][break] The demonesses were still quiet, obviously watching to see what happened next. She believed that the pair were likely rooting for them as they wouldn't want their fun spoiled so soon. She listened as each person had their own take on the offered aid, some of them just saying yes while others stated it could be a trap but still accepted. Zaven had gone so far as accepting but giving a warning to the person. It was unnerving how he could seemingly speak to them all when there was sensory white noise, more than, while she wasn't a sensory mage she knew how communication spells worked, her eyes going down to the ring on her left ring finger. It had a communication spell on it and for it to work she needed the name of those you wanted to communicate with, this meant that the person in question knew each of their names. [break][break] "Something isn't right..." she whispered to herself so quietly no one would have heard but it was clear by the expression on her face something was bothering her. The male gave a quick quip and like that, he showed himself holding an empty spray bottle, upon activating it he took down all the enemies with ease, this surprised her as they had been having difficulty with it. He even went so far as to make a joke that he had used weedkiller to do it. It sounded like such a corny dad joke but it seemed like some of the group appreciated it. She was aware that Sol and Amaya had made their way down from the tree and had their feet firmly planted on the floor but her eyes never left the man who had come to their aid. [break][break] "Always think of the worst outcome, it will help you not get hurt." she said softly to the tall male, she knew that some things could seem like a good idea at first when in actuality they would be more of a hindrance than anything. Not only to themselves but those they are around giving them a disadvantage. Soon enough the person in question removed his mask, it was clear by the albinoism, the hair and eye colour that this person was a Delothosin like Sol. It was also clear that even Sol hadn't expected to see one of his own family within the forest. "You are still an outsider Sol, perhaps you aren't privy to that information?" she knew that he had been working hard to gain their trust but his family was one if not the most secretive family in Clover. Amaya was already scolding Sol about the damage to her clothing and how she expected him to replace it. [break][break] She brought a sleeve-covered hand to her mouth and laughed. She did take note that the man had begun to walk off stating that he had a cabin nearby that was safe and they could speak. A few more things came across her mind "Daemons are afraid of Delothosin due to some sort of knowledge they have..." she whispered only to herself "Why would they allow one to still survive in their territory?" the entire time she had a perplexed look on her face even though no one would have heard her words. "He has a cabin? How long has he been in this forest?" she asked herself quietly once more, no matter how many logical reasons she could give for herself there was still something niggling at her. Perhaps talking to him could fill in the blanks and make things seem less suspicious. [break][break] It was clear the male didn't care if they followed or not, nor if they trusted him. Zaven had made up his mind that they would follow the man. She didn't know if they were going out of the fire and into the frying pan but she did realize that standing there was going to end badly thanks to the howls from the mana beasts. Quietly she followed without fuss or even a word spoken about the situation. She did watch as Jin started to strike up a conversation with the unknown man, she couldn't tell if this was because he was actually interested or if he was just attempting to probe for answers, whatever the reason was however mattered not they needed to remain vigilant for whatever was to come.

Kikka is a town known to be the defensive foot-hold for the Clover Kingdom, it is the town that sits in the grey area of what could be considered the noble region and the common region. It is due to this that there is a diverse range of people and backgrounds that called this place home. [break][break] A young fire mage found himself getting into trouble when he decided to steal some vegetables from a garden of jewellers. The mother of the family was the one that caught him and even told the boy and his mother that they just needed to ask due to them having more than enough. It was the beginning of a new bond between the family and the fire mage. [break][break] Over time the boy grew and where he was wanting to learn the next flashy fire move from the former purple orca. She would tell him that he needed to learn how to walk before he tried to run or those he cared about would get burned by those same flames that treasured so much. Of course, being young he didn't understand what she was getting at. [break][break] The woman's husband attempted to teach the street smart and somewhat rough male his craft. He, of course, got bored real quickly because crafting jewellery was a slow process that often was very detail orientated. Still, the man tried. On the day the fire mage was scheduled to leave Kikka for the exams the man called the young mage into his workshop. [break][break] He was just finishing up a double ring set and told him to put every wish and promise he could into a single flame and release it onto the ring. Somewhat sceptical the fire mage did what he was asked and thought it was for some sort of trinket for the woman that had helped him grow. The man placed the ring into a box and handed it to the budding mage. [break][break] "Valo, we see you as our son and we are proud to see the man you've grown into. You've helped create something that is unique and special, keep it with you and give it to someone that you believe deserves what you put into it." [break][break] The now young man gave bravado with his normal attitude but took the ring. He held onto it for three years until something terrible happened. The family that he had loved so much was taken from him. The one that had seen him at his most vulnerable and had helped him through the grief was a young woman. A woman who themselves couldn't fight due to their beliefs. [break][break] He remembered the ring from all those years ago and offered it to her, telling her if she was ever in danger just to call him and he'd come running.

From the ring, a blue flame seems to emerge and move around the wearer giving the feeling of warmth and being hugged. The flames eventually dissipate and leave the person being healed with almost metallic blue flaming intertwining symbols going around their body. The flames are intricate and delicate so they could easily be mistaken as tasteful jewellery. Speaking the name of another while twisting the ring will give them the benefits of the healing. With the use of the ammo rules, additional people can be healed per trigger. This ability heals for junior rank damage, this ability will also actively attempt to cleanse those being healed by it from any debuffs, poisons, hexes, curses, venoms as per the clashing rules.

When a connection is made an identical book is created in front of that person with the casters name so they know who is contacting them. As those communicating speak the pages start to fill in with blue flaming text as if being written, this is so facts can be looked over at a later point while the spell is active. As this is only junior currently only one person may be contacted at a time. If used for reinforcements the person being asked must wait 2 rounds after the initial contact has been made before they can enter, as this ability grows stronger it will allow for contacting people in other areas, if contacting people in other areas and requesting aid they must wait 4 rounds after the initial contact has been made before they can enter.

A warm gift for Hinota Yuiee. After spending a few weeks away from the flower mage, Valo had crafted a beautiful bracelet as a gift for her. And as a symbol for his commitment, he got Warmth's Embrace made for her.[break][break]

Without much issue the unknown white-haired albino took out the last six enemies, he had made a joke about using weedkiller and not entering a forest without it. He informed the group that he had a cabin that was a safe area and walked off saying they could come along or not, that they could trust him or not it made no difference to him. With that, he walked back the way he came without speaking another word to anyone. The floral mage seemed to sense something was off with the little she knew about the mysterious Delothosin family but she kept her words so quiet that no one else could hear, at least for the moment. Zaven once again took the lead, he hadn't commented on Hinota issuing a challenge for his position but he knew it was something that he would need to address at some point and would be away from others.
[break][break]
Zaven issued the order that they would accept the invitation of the male, and no one argued the order so everyone followed the male off the path and deeper into the forest. Interestingly enough the two demonesses had gone completely quiet the moment that the male turned up. Hearing Zaven's order the man kept facing straight but glanced over his shoulders "You should be careful, the forest isn't acting like its normal self at current likely due to the unwanted guests it currently has." he warned the group but didn't go into further detail. This proved that he was well aware of the daemons within the forest, but then, how could he not be if he had been in there so long to have created a sanctuary for himself? He sighed and shook his head hearing Amaya speaking "If you are not wanting your clothing dirty or destroyed then you are in the wrong occupation little princess." he playfully mocked.
[break][break]
"However, if your clothing being damaged and dirty is bothersome to you then I have some clothing you can use." he said calmly his eyes turning back to the unseen path before him, the route he was taking could be seen as odd as he almost seemed like he was walking in random directions and even backtracking at times but even when he moved forward once more the forest seemed to have completely changed. He was completely silent while he walked seemingly like he was deep in thought "That's because the family do not know of my whereabouts, we do not exactly check in at regular intervals when we are investigating things." he said turning his eyes towards Sol "However, I am aware that you are one that was sent away at birth for your safety and are now newly awoken to your heritage, congratulations on achieving that." he said with a warm smile. "The young princess is correct, you are still new to the family and are not fully accepted so how we do things will be unknown to you." he said speaking about what the doll-like mage had said.
[break][break]
"I, unlike my sister am not a magic knight and so have certain freedoms that her occupation does not afford her. That being said I still answer to a higher power." he said moving to bring out a sigil of the church, no one would be close enough to see which of the four patron spirits he followed, he placed it back within the folds of his top close to his heart as he continued walking his unusual route. He stopped and turned to look at Jin and smiled "There is always that possibility now isn't there." he said with a chuckle as he brought his hand up to his chest and clicked his fingers revealing a cabin. "We can speak more freely within, please be aware if it has anything to do with family secrets I will not answer please do not be offended by this." he said opening the door and walking inside. "Please make yourselves at home." he said offering hospitality.

[attr="class","header2"]GM Notes
[break][break]
The walk to the cabin was uneventful but he did talk to the members of the group and even showed that though he wasn't a magic knight he was a member of the church and so still had a duty to the kingdom. The path he took would have seemed to have been all over the place but every time he doubled back on himself the forest seemed to be completely different. He warned that the forest wasn't acting normally due to unwanted pests, he did give some information and even playfully teased Amaya. Jin's question was answered ambiguously as he stopped and dropped a spell revealing what looked like a small marble cabin, looking closer there would be gemstone engravings on it. When they walked in the group walked in the place looked spacious and was semi lavish, the same markings were carved with gemstone into the walls. while inside the house, everyone's sensory would work perfectly, this would show it wasn't impacted by whatever was causing the sensory white noise outside so there was a good chance it was safe enough to speak freely.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] The walk was uneventful, passing through the variable heights of foliage made Zaven keep his head on a swivel, but with the mystery man seeming to not give more than a thought of the current predicament made the Golden Dawn mage focus on other things. The first thing of course was Hinota’s admittance an challenge for captaincy and he was honestly at a loss. Had he grown complacent in his time as a captain? Was he becoming like his captain before him? He stole a glance back at her as the conversations happened around him and he thought about what to say. “Thank you for the offer, but I do not se the merrit in fighting you? Grab a champion to do your fighting for you?” No…none of those are the answers he needed to give truthfully. After this was all said and done, he would have a sit down discussion with her before accepting or giving some caveat to her challenge. [break][break]
Getting to the shelter that the man was staying at made everything seem to be calm, but the missing antagonistical forces kept nipping at the back of his mind. Without bothering to miss a step as they walked into the quaint building he finally spoke up. ”The fact that there is little to no resistance is rather…tell tale that this is an illusion and or a trap. Though all is solid, but with the recon that the kingdom SHOULD have done, we should have had warning over how to overcome these issues with the white noise…much like how you have. The fact that there is nothing that prepared us, or otherwise…gives rise that we are well within our design to just flatten and use earth and world tree mages to regrow this place of power.” He trailed off a little on the last part, he was obviously angry that they were led here with little to no oversight, but yet there was someone LIVING in this fucking confusing place AND was powerful enough to hide themselves from the white noice as well as the enemies that permeated the forest. Still though he took a seat at the table and waited for the others to enter. He did not question anyone or anything further however, there were too many questions to ask or he could not compile everything in coherent trains of thought.

[attr="class","julienglass2scroll"] Sol listened to Amaya as she told him that she expected to get dirty due to this occupation but if he wanted to make it up to her for the damages he could pay for a new hanfu when they were done with made him nod with a slight smile.”i can do that and perhaps another one as well since they look well on you” he stated as they had descended, as they had greeted the newcomer Jin questioned if perhaps they were going to lead them into a trap which Sol couldnt deny could be a possibility since there had been no message or sign that the Delothosin were sending another as back up at that same time if they were leading them into a trap it felt slightly obvious, no matter the case Sol was still wary even if this appeared to be a family member but he wouldnt let it show. As he had questioned seeing the family member here in the forest Hinota brought up the valid point that he was still considered an outsider to his birth family and that they hadnt considered him worthy of such private information or channels of communication either. [break][break] The indigo eyed man explained that the family currently did not known his whereabouts due to not checking on on regular intervals when investigating something which given how secret the family they came from was it was understandable if some methods were different then the norm, Sol was still pondering such things as they had been moving and as he saw the mans eyes look towards him Sol blinked as he was informed that he did know he was sent away for his own safety and that he had only just now awoken to his heritage with a word of congratulations at the end. “Thank you its still taking some getting used to though” he admitted though though he was more used to it then he implied due to the training he had gone thru on the Yuiee estate with Elenor and the Princess which had pushed his magical abilitys to their limit at multiple points. [break][break] The Delothosin went on to state that Hinota was right that since Sol was still so new to the family and not accepted completely some things that they do would be unknown to him which made Sol sigh internally and nod in understanding since he was an outsider it made sense he wasnt completely trusted yet.he assured them that while he was not a magic knight like his sister he did answer to a higher power and revealed a sigil of the church of clover though what branch was hard to see, as he invited them into the marble cabin Sol watched warily as Zaven went in first and the world tree mage watched to see what the others would do if they followed and went inside he would join them as well but at the moment he wasnt moving since the situation was an odd one. [break][break] Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Shadow[break] Class & Type: Relic ¦ Weapon (Sword)[break] Magic Specializations: Attack Creation ¦ Sensory[break] Appearance & Lore:[break]
[break][break] An ornate katana with a twenty-four-inch (60 cm) blade. the sheath is made of what seems to be made of marble which has been carefully carved into and engraved with what looks like ruby, the base of the sheath has a gold kojiri. Just above the midway point, there seems to be a piece of onyx that has been set around the sheath, the top and bottom of the onyx seems to have the same white marble though it has been fashioned to look almost like fur or feathers. Connected to the onyx there seems to be additional ruby fastenings with ruby chains connecting one part to the next, near the top there is a ruby set in gold that leads off to three carmine red tassels. The handguard seems to be made out of gold leading into the hilt a hilt that is just under half the size of the blade that covered in lackered red marble before being surrounded in black ribbon with gold helm and small ruby beads at each crossing pattern of the ribbon. [break][break] The corrupting shadow was made using an unknown method outside of a certain noble family within Clover. This family has been shunned by many other noble houses because of their appearances and they macabre magic that they are born with so choose to remain in the forsaken region instead of the noble. Not a lot is known about this secretive family, it's hierarchy or its family mechanics and they aim to keep it that way, it allows them to continue doing what they are without too many questions being asked. One thing people will notice of this family is that when they pass their trial of adulthood they start wielding a weapon of some sort and how the dynamics of the family will change to that person. [attr="class","amascroll"] Amaya nodded with a smile as her face grew a slight bit redder from his compliments as she looked towards him " From what I know the Honoka are the family that Hania requests makes my clothing, they seem to make each one just right even with all the detail instructions and colors for each one." She added slowly picking foliage out of her hair, really really wishing she had a bath at the moment and a unstained hanfu. She really didn't care if anyone knew where she got her clothing cause why would any daemons care about her clothing or styles. [break] [break]
She turned to the delothison as she shaked her head " You might be right on not expecting my clothing to get ruined while in this occupation. I can be first to say I full well know my clothing will not come unscaved and you know what that is perfectly fine with me cause a dress is just a dress but a life is worth more in my book." She said sweetly before shaking her head to his offering of a spare set of clothing " Thankyou for the offer, I do believe I will accept your offer." She said [break] [break]
She listened to the various conversations and watched the forest they walked around in tilting her head in silent thoughts. Knowing the forest's habits? that says he has been here awhile? if he has been here awhile, how is it he seemed so at ease and at home while the forest doesn't seem to know he exists? She thought to herself with a curious expression picking at the mud in her bangs while in thought. She was not paying attention but still followed and kept up with ease. She made note his conversation with Sol and Jin as she could tell he was very much a go with the flow. he wasn't going to take charge but he wasn't going to go with whatever they wanted. It was all about their choices. She listened to him speak of his sister. She listened to his words with sol and Hinota and it seemed they are on the same page of assumption. She had no reason in inquire to much of anything cause she wasn't one to pry nor was it her time to chime in, listening was something she found was best fitted for the situation and listening she shall. [break] [break]
Her train of thought stopped at reality station when the group had stopped looking towards the marble cabin. She took in the detail making note of the gemstone engravings. Such things are not something someone randomly puts into a odd marble cabin within a wooded area. Plus if these were made anywhere, they would probably cost a fortune from what I assume. Really wish I had asked Enlil about various prices of gemstones and some of his jewelry. This is probably something up his alley. Also marble is not just something so easy to move around in a forest like this one right? I really wish I had Enlil here for at least just that. No those engravings had to be either made by magic or imbued with magic. Then again this is a delothison, Such things I think would not be past them due to their family's nature. She thought making some mental notes of observation. [break] [break]
"I am glad you get to meet one from your family Sol. I know I would be excited getting to possibly know more of another of my bloodline. Then again I have so much family members that I am going to assume half of clover is related to me" She teased with a slight joke more to herself. She had found she had two cousins she didn't know of till recently and with Kenja coming into his own into the golden dawn. She was over the moon so to speak with getting to know more members of her family even if there was one member she had slowly been working on re-getting to know due to her own reasons. She just hoped some day she would refind that connection. [break] [break]
Amaya turned her attention to Zaven as she tilted her head " Sometimes captain, We can't get all the information right. I have exhausted myself with what i could find of the forest through the guidance of my uncle and cousin and i can tell you, none of it has really helped me much other then knowing, this forest is dangerous and ever changing." Spoke Amaya gently "However, We should be kind to the help that has been offered to us whether we know what we are getting into. I still can't tell anything I can't see due to this place." She said not really caring if she was to be scolded by either Zaven or hino as she didn't like how Zaven was coming off. She understood being annoyed. She was annoyed for a completely different reason, however it was a reason no one needed to hear from her or they might not be able to hear once she was done talking their ear off. [break] [break]
She stood outside the cabin in thought of rather to trust going in or not. She thought about it before walking forward deciding it was best to just keep going forward, they already fallen for this damn forest and its trap and had to accept help taking out manabeasts. They might as well continue as she was of no use trying to know anything when it comes to what is not infront of her. She stopped at the entrance of the cabin before stepping through the door. Immediately she could feel the white noise vanish from around her within the cabin. She looked around from where she stood making note of the engraving on the inside also being made of a gemstone. She found a nice spot near the entrance of the cabin to stand and wait, leaning her staff against her shoulder as she resumed tidying herself up. Keeping her senses up along with her guard as she listened and observed [break] [break]
Aoiveae Isro is a one point Seven meter-long staff made of an unusual pale blue metal of unknown origin, with a unique ornate top making it seem almost spear-like, it is not until the owner channels mana through the staff that its true majestic form is seen. Inside of the staff, the bluish metal seems to become almost transparent and magical energy can be seen going up it, in fact, the energy is so condensed it's almost like electricity can be seen dancing up the length of the staff. From the top that was once seen as a spear tip, a circle engulfs it and from the sides, a set of wings are seen almost like an aurora.
The true origin and creator of Aoiveae Isro remains unknown, even its history to this day remains quite the mystery though it was discovered several hundred years ago. As it was found in the broken-down ruins of a temple within the Aristaeus’ Basin close to the border of the heart kingdom it is believed that it must have held some ritualistic importance. This relic was originally bought from the black market by a noble with the intention of placing it up for auction, this noble doesn't wish to be named due to the method they gained access to the relic and has every intention of giving the proceeds of the sale to the church anonymously.

Intermediate Lore:[break]
It is only through meditation and inner peace can the true power within be found. The energy feels different, it is almost like a completely different mana swirls within the weapon, it's weak but fluctuates mirroring the owner's own emotions and turmoil, there is no understanding as to what this could mean but it feels like a breakthrough is very close... although for now very much out of reach. [break] Senior Lore:[break] Inner peace and acceptance has now began to settle in to both the owner of the staff and the staff itself. A mutual understanding has been reached and so the staff itself no longer become cumbersome to it's owner almost changing its size to be perfectly fitting. It is almost as if the staff is alive with its own soul as it clearly didn't want to allow itself to be used by someone it deemed unworthy of its power. [break] Grand Lore:[break] ~Get the relic to Grand to unlock~ [break] Dive Lore:[break] With understanding and introspection the wielder can almost hear the voice within, the past memories of the one who held the staff at the very beginning of its creation. Its true potential finally reveled as the staff once belonging to a spirit user. The first memory seen was the pact that they would never part come what may as they both placed a small portion of their life's mana into the staff. An oath that has held strong even now centuries later.
Rank: Senior[break] Ability Appearance: two streaks of navy blue strands that give off a look of glitter. Her left eyes turns pure white with a glow and a wanning crescent moon in the middle of her forehead[break] Dive Activation:Slowly she spin the staff next to her left side with her left hand while continuing the spin behind her back, to the right side, infront of her then above her head before pulling it down infront with both hands stopping the spinlooks like this.[break] Time of Usage: 3[break] Spell Lock and Spirit Drain:5[break] Mana Cost: 30 | 15[break] Dive Abilities: +10 Control, Senior Rank Speed Buff, +10 Sensory[break][break]
As this is an unusual relic it comes with an equally unusual ability but it comes with a bit of work to unlock. You are required to do a thread of 6,000 words where you come to not only understand the energies within the relic but unlock its hidden secret; that it is capable of a partial spirit dive, and will allow you to have up to three small aesthetic changes while in this form. (The training must be approved like a normal partial dive) You are unable to access this dive ability before the relic reaches senior, the dive will be active for three rounds and it will be five rounds before you would be able to enter it once more, at grand it will allow you to enter the partial dive for four rounds but you will not be able to enter it again for six rounds. You are able to go to the spirit system and choose three abilities you will be able to access while in the partial daemonic dive. As with spirit dive, there are drawbacks that you will receive when the dive is on cooldown. This includes -5 m/s physical speed, -5 mana regeneration, -5 Debuff in Power, Durability , Control, Sensory and you will only be able to access intermediate or below spells. [break][break] In addition to the above abilities, they will find that their spells will have a number of boons and weaknesses to them. [break][break] Boons:[break] - Once every second round the mage may heal naturally one rank below their character rank free of charge, this increases to twice per round at grand.[break] - Able to redirect incoming attacks if the owner's control is +10 than the opposing mage's power stat, lowering to only needing +5 at grand rank, this is only applied if your spell is of equal rank or higher than the opposed one. This can only occur once every three posts. [break][break] Weaknesses:[break] - Unless within a dual specialized spell knock-back will automatically be attached to attack creation spells[break] - Spells cost 20% additional mana from the natural base amount of mana

Jin Zhongli
The more this stranger spoke, the more Jin observed and learned. There was some family ties with Sol Shinryu, while this probably was of big importance to the magic knight there were matters that needed to be discussed. This stranger was a member of the church, he had flashed his sigil and put it back rather quickly even with Jin's trained eyes he couldn't tell which of the four Deities he served. Jin didn't like this though, he made a mental note of it. "Always endless possibilities."
The path they took seemed all over the place, there seemed to be a series of intentional turns but it was all so random. What made it worse was the forest seemed to change as well as they continued.
Jin waited to ask more questions till he was inside, but he didn't just walk in without pacing himself first. He was unsure what kind of spell was used, to make a cabin of this size would requite time from even the most advanced construct user, so he didn't think it was that. It was another tricky spell or item he had used that caught Jin's interest. After just a few moments Jin walked in the cabin still on guard of course, but he was relaxed as always. The stranger said they could speak freely within, Jin did not fully trust that. So his first few questions would be about him specifically. He already said he wouldn't answer to many questions about his family, which Jin understood as he followed the same rules. But this did not mean he could not be questioned about himself.
Since no one yet had questioned him, Jin would be the first. "I don't think we got your name yet. May I ask what it is?" Jin asked him he would await to receive an answer and then continue. "How long have you been in the forest, and what is your goal here? I would like to assume you are here to deal with the Daemons since that is one of many responsibilities that fall upon the church. But making assumptions can be dangerous." Jin would leave it at that for now, of course he had much more questions but he didn't want to be the only one asking them. The floor was open.

[attr="class","tamaflowersscroll"] The floral mage walked silently behind the group almost seemingly deep in her own thoughts, she had noticed the turns and the doubles back now and then and how things had changed when they did. She paused for a moment and placed her left hand on her chest feeling the stirring within her her eyes closing. 'Not now...' she thought to herself. She opened her eyes after a few short seconds and noticed how the others had continued forward. This was the first time she had ever stepped into the Witches Forest, yet, it felt oddly familiar. She didn't put much stock in what she was told at the Blake estate and so never even mentioned it to her parents when she returned home, it honestly didn't matter as when she was summoned back it was due to someone wishing to be betrothed to her. It didn't end well for the potential suitor. [break][break] She kept close to the trees rather than be on the unseen path, it had only been briefly but now and then she saw a shimmer from the corner of her eye but when she turned to look at what it was all she could see was a normal tree. 'I guess it could be an illusion.' she thought to herself, 'but then if it was then why didn't anyone else see it? Is it because I remained close to the trees?' there were just too many questions going through her mind right now, it was messy and there wasn't enough information for her to come to a proper conclusion. The problem was if she asked questions then their guide or even those watching would know that she was on to something and so may see her as a bigger threat than they currently did. [break][break] She was well aware that their enemy had done research on many within the group, she knew that the two last-minute additions may have been safe from such a thing but she didn't want to assume anything right now. She listened to what their mysterious guide had to say and even noticed the sigil of the church that he showed. "Which of the four great spirits do you align yourself with?" she would finally ask, she hadn't seen it clearly enough but she could tell it wasn't Salamander or Undine the colours were off for that and the little they had seen he didn't seem like the type to follow them so that left Sylph or Gnome as options, of course, she could have been completely wrong so wanted him to answer as it took all types, magic knight squads proved that. None more prominently than the black bulls. [break][break] Eventually, they came to a stop in the middle of a small clearing, it would have been easy to walk past it if you weren't actively trying to find it. Soon enough the man answered Jin's question and the answer was ambiguous at best but then he was a Delothosin and it was quite hard to get a straight answer out of them at the best of times when they didn't want to talk about something. He clicked his fingers and before them was a marble cabin as she got closer she saw the gemstone markings "I don't know their ways of the Delothosin but I'm pretty sure some of these are protection and warding scriptures... Some of them are used in temples on my families estate and even in our palaces." she said pointing to a few of them. She was sure that Jin would understand some of them too as they were of the same homeland. [break][break] Hinota followed the others into the cabin and looked around, the same gemstone runes could be seen along the walls, if they truly were protections and wards he was serious about keeping himself safe. It wasn't like she could blame him for being in a forest where there were things attempting to kill you just because of your gender and bloodline. The place was comfortable and what would expect from a noble, it was clear this place was home to him due to it, it also meant he had been there for longer than just a few months. "Captain, remember Daemons are afraid of his bloodline and where they may have been able to take him out if he was on his own, the tide of battle changed when we met with him on both sides." she said with a tender tone as she looked out the window. [break][break] "We already know from when the two that visited your estate that at least one daemon doesn't like unknown factors and if he is the voice of reason then he would have likely kept the other's in check until he knew how they could strike with little backlash." it was only a hypothetical but it was the best explanation she could give her eyes moving over to Zaven. "Captain, please calm down." she said seeing that he was getting worked up over the entire situation "There are several reasons we could not have this information..." she began turning to look at him "The simplest being it was deemed too dangerous for anyone to enter and so no intel was collected." she continued before sighing "The second is that it is something new and so even when the recon was done this wasn't a thing and so they couldn't report on it." she finished. [break][break] "Captain, we are not razing the Witches Forest to the ground. Yes, I understand this is a time of war. Yes, I understand our task and the outcome if we fail but..." she paused for a moment royal purple specs appearing in her eyes she balled her hands so tight she pierced the skin of her own hands enough to draw blood "I REFUSE TO ALLOW THE INNOCENT LIFE HERE TO BE ENDED JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE IRRITATED WITH THIS SITUATION AND WANT A QUICK SOLUTION!" He already knew her stance on life being taken needlessly, he had been at the receiving end of it. "SO IF YOU WANT TO TRY IT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH ME FIRST AND I'M A LOT STRONGER THAN I WAS BACK WHEN I PLACED THAT CURSE ON YOU!" She was seething at the notion that he would suggest this action for a second time since entering and it was clear she meant every word she spoke to him. [break][break] She turned her eyes on the rest of the group her eyes still sharp. "I understand if you wish to stand by his words and see merit in it, but I will stand against you too and where I may not be able to withstand the bombardment of you all and may be branded as a traitor to the kingdom for my stance I would have a clear conscience." She wasn't trying to be insubordinate to Zaven but she had her morals and she wasn't about to allow a heinous war crime to be committed for any reason if she could try to be the voice of reason and stop it. The purple specs in her eyes were no longer there. She still couldn't believe that the captain of the most prestigious magic knight squad would even suggest such a thing. She then bowed to their host and the group in her usual method. "I am sorry for my outburst, I beg forgiveness." her words were once again soft although it was clear to see she was hurt by her tone.

From the ring springs, a book made with a blue flame cover but upon opening it the flames are an orangy-red as normal. Speaking the name of the person that the wielder wants to speak from creates their name at the front of the book in orangy-red flames.

To show her that he cares about her, and he plans to do better by her. He never wants to spend weeks away from her again. And as a symbol for his commitment, he got Warmth's Embrace made for her.[break][break]

[break] The white-haired male walked into the cabin without a second thought allowing the others to follow if they so pleased, it made little difference to him as he knew he'd be safe. As he sat down he watched as they entered, he had heard the question that Hinota had asked outside the cabin but waited until they were unable to be heard to answer "I am aligned with the vault keeper." he said bringing out his sigil once more allowing them to inspect it properly if they so desired. "I have been since I was sixteen." there were reasons it wasn't sooner but they were reasons he would speak about to those outside of the family. "No, my home isn't an illusion, after all, if it was I'd not be sitting on a chair but the floor." he said with a chuckle [break][break] "As for it being a trap, if it was then you'd all be in trouble now wouldn't you." he said with a smile. "I can tell you that in my time being here, you are the first magic knights that I have seen, but then, this place is vast so they may have entered and explored another area. I do not know, it was only by chance I was checking to see if it was safe to venture out to forage supplies that I saw you all on my map." he informed the group "You are quite lucky if you had walked two feet into the brush you'd have came across two of them." he let them know just how close they had been to some of the threats. "Well, I'm guessing it's not so lucky but not being able to sense them would give them a huge advantage." he said finally putting away his sigil when those who wanted to look had a chance.[break][break] "I know I am insignificant in your eyes and would just be another casualty of war but I would rather you not destroy this place with me in it Lord Blake and to suggest such a thing in front of a civilian... was that really the wisest thing?" he would ask him remaining calm the entire time, he could understand the man's anger given that he was a sensory mage and the white noise would have made him less than efficient. "The cause of the sensory white noise is deeper in the forest but I've not been able to get close enough to study it to find a way to disable it." he said showing it was something that was bothering him in a severe way. It was then that he turned his attention back to the soft-spoken plant mage and saw that Zaven's hit a nerve with her "I see the rumours about you are true." he said standing and going to a cupboard. [break][break] "It is heartwarming to see someone like you within the magic knights little princess." he said starting to bring things down and placing them on a cloth "Too many take actions without thinking of the consequences or how those actions will affect others." he said moving over to her and cleaning the wounds only slightly holding onto her sleeve as he didn't want to make her uncomfortable. "This forest is home to thousands of innocent lives, not all of them witches. They don't have anything to do with this conflict so why should they perish for the actions of others?" he would ask looking to Zaven allowing Hinota to take the fabric and tend to herself. "My sister speaks of you highly and yet so far all I see is a man with a short fuse who I would mistake as a black bull with how reckless he is being." he said sitting once more. [break][break] "There's nothing to forgive little princess, please think nothing of it." he said flicking his hand dismissingly, as far as he was concerned she had done what she believed was right for the denizens that called the forest home regardless of how it would affect her. His eyes turned to Sol "I would expect so, but it seems like you are adapting well and that will work in your favour." he said leaning back thoughtfully. "You are likely wondering how I can navigate the forest, I leave markings on the trees, this allows me to know how the forest has moved and which way to go to return here. I have to admit it took longer than I expected to get the needed system into place." he said shaking his head "Where are my manners?" he finally said when Jin asked his questions. [break][break] "I am Elysi Delothosin." he answered, he didn't appear to be trying to deceive anyone in honesty he had no reason to do so. "As for how long I have called this forest home? Five years." he would answer simply. "Before you ask about the cabin, it is made with marble it has wards on both the in and outside made from protective gemstones. The supplies were sent by my family via spatial mage." he said looking to the group "I realize you're going to be surprised as to why I have remained here, the simple fact is I can't leave... I've tried. The forest simply refuses to let me go and so I've attempted to make the best of a bad situation." he said before standing and walking to a table and picking up a journal "There are eight daemons in this forest not including the witch queen herself, the two you've come across 'play' in this section of the forest and are mentally the youngest even if not physically so." he informed them. "Do you have any other questions? And as I am playing host are you in need of rest or refreshment?" he would ask, he knew Amaya had already refused his offer of clothing and so there was no need to address that.
[break][break]
[attr="class","header2"]GM Notes
[break][break]
You've entered the cabin and nothing untoward has happened, at least from your host. Zaven's suggestion of flattening the forest did however seem to rub your host but more so the peaceful floral mage up the wrong way. Your host has now introduced himself as Elysi Delothosin, he follows the great spirit Gnome and has been trapped within the forest for the last five years so had supplies delivered to him so he could survive comfortably while attempting to make this bad situation somewhat useful. He has informed the group the issue creating the white noise is deeper in the forest but he's not been able to get close enough to study it and see if he can disable it, he's also informed you that all in all there are nine daemons including Lilith herself and that the two you have been dealt with thus far are not physically the youngest but they are mentally the youngest and like to play in that part of the forest. With this out of the way, he offered refreshments and asked if there were any further questions they wanted answered.

[attr="class","julienglass2scroll"] Sol nodded as they had entered into the small building and like Hinota he noticed the seals and assumed that they must have played some form keeping this member of his family alive and the danger of the forest away, as they stood inside and Sol leaned against a wall he smiled at Amayas words of congratulation that he had met another member of his family and also made a crack that they might have half of clover related to them given how many rumors she has head which made him chuckle a bit.”true but im sure Hania has a way to keep track of all the members of the family Amaya” he assured her as Jin would press the man for a few more answers. And Hinota would question about the gemstone seals while bringing up that they have been used around her familys grounds as well which made Sol wonder why that was. [break][break] At the Delothosins mention of how close they had been to the threats Sol was unsure if he was glad they hadnt found them yet or if it was a stroke of bad luck since they needed to clear all daemon threats in the area they had missed an opportunity, when Zaven spoke his voice holding clearly held back anger on the current situation and once again suggesting that they just flatten and bulldoze the area to find the problem before regrowing the surroundings back instantly caused a surge of fury in Sol just as it had Hinota, however before Sol could speak Hinota had already started in on her captain explained that they understood that it was a war zone and that they knew the dangers and possible fate as well before she finally snapped and outright yelled at Zaven telling him she would not allow innocent life here in the forest to be ended just because he was anger and wanted an easy solution. She went on to tell him that if she wanted to try she would need to go thru him reminding him that she was much stronger then when she had apparently cursed him. [break][break] She would turn to the rest of the group and mention that she understood if they wanted to stand by his words and see merit and that she would stand against them and be seen as a traitor if it came down it it but she would have a clean conscious. Sol nodded as he took a few steps forward and would move to be beside Hinota he understood her reasoning loud and clear and he was of the same mind he may be willing to cut down a threat but he didnt like the idea of killing needlessly.”Captain I am of the same mind as her I will not stand by with razing the forest to the ground when so many innocent creatures and people reside here we know the foes we need to deal with but you would suggest we kill those that arnt even involved?” he asked his tone held no warmth in fact it was freezing cold and you could hear an edge in his voice as his crimson eyes remain locked on Zaven with such intensity that you could have sworn they were glowing.”I refuse to cut down those that are innocent in this mission I took an oath to protect this kingdom and the people and I will not kill my morals for an easy solution Rest assured if we survive this Captain Barron will hear about your suggestion and lack of care for the surrounding inhabitants” he said tone still icy as would break the gaze before he took a deep breath in and then released it. [break][break] Sol had done that to reinforce his restraints he held inside as the anger he had felt had caused that deep and powerful malice he held in him wanted to surface and rip into their leader further but the mantis knew that now wasn't the time or the place, he glanced to Amaya for a second and made sure that she was ok since he had never spoken in such a way even when he had scolded Taiyo in a dungeon once, once he had taken one more deep breath he felt better as his family member would give him praise and explain that he seemed to be adapting well and that it would serve him well which made him smile softly.”Thank you that means alot” he said kindly, as the man now known as Elysi explained how long he had been here which had ben at least five years he explained how his home was warded and that he had gotten supplies from the family via spatial magic and that despite trying he couldn't leave as the forest wouldn't let him not matter how hard he tried. As he would inform them on the information that he knew which included that their were at least eight daemons in the forest without including Lilith herself and that so far the two they were dealing with were the youngest mentally which was both good and bad since who knows how they would react to things. “so at least nine foes and we have hardly any information on them other then the number and that our current set are mentally young” he muttered before looking to his family member as he offered rest or a something to drink and he shook his head.”I appreciate the offer but I am good I still have plenty of strength left” he admitted since it was true his mana reserves and regeneration had grown by leaps and bounds since the forming of the royals knights. [attr="class","amascroll"] Amaya listened to Jin's questions watching the delothison, who said his name was Elysi. She knew of the Gnome branch within the church, She personally more believed in undine if there was a spirit she was to follow. While she knew spirits were just that, they weren't gods cause why would Gods wish to bind themselves to a puny human that just so happened to have their element within their grimoire? She knew humans were just creatures that wished to pray to some higher power to give themselves a little faith in a better tomorrow. She was no different. She was ready to send what prayers she could to whatever deity wished to grant the group a safe return from this mission before she was called to assist them. She had tried spending what time she could with Sol when he was having to train for this mission, it was a few months ago she received word that she was to join in. She was under prepared and that was something she was open about and could feel from just being here. Out of the group she was most likely the weakest and most under prepared mentally and physically. [break] [break] She looked at the sigils before smiling at Sol " Oh I know Hania most likely knows all my family, he knew of my little unannounced trip to the archipelago without his permission or knowledge. I was grounded for quiet awhile to the forsaken region. I am sure i will be getting some lecture of how i handled myself once we returned along with possibly more tutors and mentors to further my education of being the heiress of our family."She said shaking her head with a smile returning her attention back to the sigils running her finger tips along them using what sensory she could " These are nearly the same as the ones on my family's estate. They are meant to be keeping those inside their warding same." She spoke not going into further detail as she knew the ones on her family's estate was more meant for Hania and the complications life had decided to dish to him. She only know they were there to protect from what winter had told her but she never really pushed into details like she should have. There is a lot of things she is noting she should have been doing but didn't as she should have. [break] [break] Amaya jumped nearly out of her skin at the sudden yelling of Hinota at Zaven and his suggestion. She then heard Sol chime in as she watched them both in worry. One she has never heard of a situation where Hinota was actually pissed and willing to take on anyone so willingly with determination in her voice. Then there was Sol. She knew well from her talks and being around him that he was a bit easier to anger even with the vast restraints on himself and his anger. She could understand where they both came from especially when Hinota calmed herself down and felt deep regret. Amaya knew the one time she actually yelled and felt anger or rage, it was not too long ago on the vermillion estate when she was returning a ungiven gift to Taiyo. She still felt physically Sick in acknowledgement as it didn't feel right having to raise her voice or feel that emotion towards anyone she once held so close and had once held respect for. She moved forward moving between the two and Zaven as she turned towards their captain. She was calm and relax but her face read of determination in her stead fast as her eyes were soft but unmoving in her resolve of her following words. She didn't care what was to come or the scolding of not knowing her place. She wasn't going to stand by and listen to someone of such strength be so reckless, It was going to be a cold day in hell before Amaya would allow that to happen while she was still breathing. [break] [break] " I am sorry captain but this is a team decision. Your opinion and wants are noted and known along with your feats and strengths. However, we three have morals that will not allow us to spill innocent blood because of frustration and annoyance. I do know when I return to the coral peacocks both Akarui and Hania will know of this action as your actions here are making the Daemons look just in their cause. while I am sure the two we have heard of, that were apparently a lot closer then we were able to know given the sensory issue we are having. They might not be pleased we have survived, mostly in tact, They are not throwing a fit for being unprepared and annoyed things did not go as plan. Not to mention this is in sight of a member of the church, who has superiors he will most likely have to speak to along with the showing you have allowed the citizen of our group to see an unhinged sighting of someone who is the captain of the golden dawn." She spoke [break] [break] Amaya knew this was going to get her in trouble back home but this was worth the scolding as the scolding would be worse if she didn't actually put her foot down in this standing all because one held the title of captain. " If I was you Captain, I would seriously relook at your occupation and what it means to lead as if this is how a captain is meant to lead, then I would relieve myself of the mantle I take up every morning. " She spoke turning her back towards him adjusting the staff in her hand before looking over her shoulder towards him one more time. [break] [break] "You can ring me in as insubordinate later, I will take anything that is tossed at me as this is worth the mark on my reputation. Nothing is worse then allowing the innocents that allows us to have our mantles and pride to die all due to one's unhinged tantrum." She spoke moving towards Sol wrapping her arms around him in a comforting hug before letting go heading over to Hinota. [break] [break] "I know you are not one for being touched as my cousin is very much the same way, however I know even one hug helps sometimes and I think this is a warranted one." She said quickly giving Hinota a hug, ensuring not to touch any skin as she knew such things were not allowed from her culture, plus Amaya herself wouldnt want to be randomly touched by anyone who wasn't very close to her. Her former flame found out what happened just touching any bearskin on her back without warning, a hard open palmed smack across the face. She let go quickly before clearing her throat thinking of a quick way to cut down the tension as she listened to Elysi question Zaven of his actions as well as listen to Jun's questioning which had brought up a point [break] [break] "Jun. That does remind me I been meaning to ask. What brought someone like you to this forest or be willing to put yourself in harms way along side us?" She asked in a passing conversation, trying to pull away from the tension growing in the cabin as she moved towards Elysi looking up at him as her soft gaze watched his reaction to her question. "If I may I do have a question. I know very little of the Delothison other then your family is much more secretive then my own, Given how you say they have dropped off supplies via spatial magic. May I ask why you haven't left? I understand if a mission is not completed, one wouldn't wish to leave till it is. However, Why haven't you left after all these years, if a spatial mage can get supplies dropped here then you can leave as the forest hasn't interfered with the portal? If This is true then tell me. What is it that has you stuck here? Did someone or something curse or bond you here?" She asked as something wasn't sitting right with her given she been through any spatial portals from the mages on her estate but her own former flame's servant lucia had that magic. It was a doorway and the only magic she has been told cancels it out was her own butler's Jianyu's Void magic. It was ironic the magics of the two that had to work closely. [break][break]

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] He listened to the others as he sat there, but the one that triggered his anger was not the mysterious stranger, nor was it the answers he received no it even was not as much toi anger him as the other members of the party had their own questions. Hinota, for the first time since the two had met, had made him actually truly angry and he was not going to stand for it. He wanted to instinctively snap at her as he glared over at her once and even though he felt himself start to slip into something of a rage like his father before him would have been proud of…there was a brief moment of pause as he looked at her. His azure colored eyes glowed ferociously, but he did not leap up to verbally attack her, nor did he snap back towards her physically as would have been a…traditional Blake way to interject due to anger…His mana still remained quiet as he knew from a previous experience how his aura made him look to others… [break][break]
No, on the contrary, the Shadow of Dawn knew what he said was upsetting…especially to the precious flower mage that he had personally brought into the Magic Knights himself…he had seen THEN what his actions and frivolous use of amplified anger and pride could do… but at the end of the day his intentions are to finish the job no matter the cost…he was ready to die if need be, to sacrifice what he needed to ensure the safety of the kingdom and its people but he did not want that to come at the cost of those that were already precious to him. After the mere seconds though, and the verbal lashing he had received he held up a single hand towards the flower mage in an attempt to quell the rising tensions as his glare subsided into a soft look. ”Hinota…I would like to request that… Nevermind actually…this is not the right table for a discussion with the tension I feel, you are correct however and I am letting my own shortcomings get the best of me.” He began to rebuke her but in the end backed away as he made the explanation, to show that he believed she was not the one in the wrong this time, soi he continued. ”However, my words were not pointing that I WAS going to do such a thing, if I wished to destroy something, I am not going to ASK for permission or to look for anyone’s approval, you already know the ending to such a tale. Your courage and steadfast stance on the matter has given me much to think about, even if now is not the right time to do so. I value your words and as such…” He sighed as he found himself releasing a wisp of shadowy mana from his lips as if it were steam. Hraban floated away from his partner and over to Hinota as the captain looked as if he were expelling the bad thoughts. [break][break]
”I do apologize however that my words and actions both as we arrived and up to now have brought ill will or thoughts to the table. I will excuse myself for the time being, no I do not require anything in the way of refreshment or rest at the moment, once I clear my head I will return to this meeting. Please…carry on with exchanging information in my stead…Hinota if you would be kind enough to keep an eye on everyone I will return momentarily…” He said as he stood up and moved back towards the front door as he wished to step away for a few moments to collect himself as he knew what he had said was harsh toned at least in his head, but at the same time…it needed to be said. He WAS still the captain of not only The Golden Dawn, but also for this Royal Knight squad, AND a leader of a province. He was not someone to be taken lightly, and his upbringing and pride gave him…so much in times that he really did truly come off as an asshole. As he grabbed the door he did finally speak to the man that offered them hospitality. ”Thank you for your generosity, I will see to it that we speak..in a moment or two.” He said before exiting, WITHOUT slamming the door.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll2"] TLDR I used [break][break]
[attr="class","tamaflowersscroll"] The floral mage had said her piece, she made her stance clear and cared little what it would do to her reputation as a noble or magic knight. Those things meant little to her if it meant that she would be associated with atrocities and war crimes. She had already voiced she understood his frustrations with the situation and gave reasons why they may not have the intel that he was accustomed to in such situations. She was glad that Sol and Amaya sided with her on this matter while the only non-magic knight of their party had remained silent on the situation, she could only imagine what was going through his mind about this whole ordeal. Even their current host had voiced concerns about Zaven's words and stated he hadn't any idea why his sister spoke highly of him as all he saw was a black bull with a short fuse. As Amaya hugged her she tensed and instantly backed away showing she was uncomfortable. [break][break] She had taken in the information that their host had spoken, but before she could address it Zaven seemed to interrupt, it was as if her words had hit a nerve with him, however, she noticed that his frustration was aimed at her alone for whatever reason even though Sol and Amaya said the same thing. Then again, she had been the only one to have yelled and as her curse on him was attached to her emotions so that may have played a part. She could tell that he wanted to say something but held back what was on his mind, she knew it would come to the surface most likely when they didn't have eyes of others on them. She didn't comment on it. "You have every right to be frustrated things have changed last minute and we don't have information that would have been helpful..." she began stating what she had previously. [break][break] "However, suggesting even if you have no intention of doing so committing genocide aren't words that should ever pass your lips, especially as a captain." she finished showing this is what they all had an issue with. "You don't need to ask permission or look for our approval but we have made our stance clear, if we don't think it's the correct decision we will voice it." she said calmly making direct contact with him "I can't speak for the others as I am not them, however, I am not above walking away and leaving you to the mess that you create if it comes to that. Actions have consequences and the actions you voiced don't make you sound like a captain but a rogue with little to no morals." she stated with a calm tone not breaking eye contact. [break][break] "As I previously said I know that this is a time of war, that there will be death, casualties and collateral damage and there may be a call for sacrifice..." Her hand moved to her chest as she leaned slightly forward "Part of my job as a tactician is to make sure that such things are limited if needed at all." her voice was compassionate as she spoke to him, trying to get him to understand that she didn't want to fight or argue with him, that she was a tool at his disposal and should be used for her strengths. she held out her arms as Hraban floated over to her and hugged him close as if he was a teddy. Such actions brought her comfort, it was strange to be this well-known and respected magic knight but still having the tendencies one would see within an everyday civilian girl. [break][break] She watched as Zaven excused himself to get some air "Wǒmen bù pínghéng, tuánduì de xiétóng zuòyòng xiāoshīle… xiànzài zhèyàng wǒmen zěnme shēngcún? Èmó bù xūyào zuò rènhé shìqíng, wǒmen huì zìshā." she said to herself not believing any other would understand her words. She looked at the others sheepishly "I apologise, I didn't mean to speak in my native tongue." she said smiling anxiously. She was worried that much was certain but she was trying to push that to the side. It was then she heard his name "Elysi? Elenor's younger brother?" she would comment. Elenor had been Hinota's guardian for the first six months she was allowed to leave her family's estate due to Junjie having to deal with some family matters and so got to know a little about her. "F... five years?" she seemed surprised at his words. [break][break] As Amaya had already brought up the thing about not being able to leave she saw no reason to ask, instead, she listened to the fact that the forest was home to nine daemons in total and that the two they had interacted with since entering played in this part of the forest, that they were mentally the youngest even though they weren't physically so. "Can you tell us any information on the daemons? Appearance, names and magic types would be beyond useful information for us." she asked. She didn't know if he would have any of this but there was no harm in asking at least.
We aren't balanced, the synergy of the team is off... If it is like this now how are we going to survive? The demons won't need to do anything, we'll kill off ourselves.

Jin Zhongli
Jin had come across many different kinds of magic knights in his ventures. Some he worked with others, he did not. He personally never had a deep rooted issue with any of them, some just happened to be targets or in the wrong place at the wrong time. But that went for many individuals magic knight or not. It was this fact that helped Jin come to a conclusion a long time ago, magic knights are just regular people who have flaws like anyone else. In this day and age many people around the world looked up to magic knights and out them on the pedestal. Whether they were deserving of such praise really depended on the individual, but it was rare when a entire lump sum of magic knights deserved such praise.
From Jin's perspective it wasn't so much a praise or judgement of character that he was looking at, but more so each one went about accomplishing a mission achieving their objective so to speak. A magic knights primary concern should be the protection of innocent lives and the people that live within the realm. But sometimes there was a particular few that would place things above that priority. In the end he guessed it all came down to perspective.
Jin wasn't going to insert himself in the meddling of magic knights at this moment, he wanted to remain on the goal at hand. They continued to bicker and misunderstand each other, obviously not seeing eye to eye. Even Hinota had turned to shouting in her own frustration, it was quite surprising. But considering her pacifist nature she took his words to heart, Jin was reminded that even though she had ties to the Zhongli unknowingly. She was not raised as one.
Zaven's comments had struck a nerve with the rest of the crew, but not to Jin. Reason why was because the white haired rogue didn't take his words to literally like the others had, to him it seemed to come more out of frustration than how he truly felt. He would admit hearing frustrated words like coming from the Captain of the Golden Dawn was a bit surprising. But even Zaven Blake was just a man with his own faults like everyone else in the world.
But there was more important things at hand the groups feelings about Zaven's frustrations, that is what Jin would remain focused on. This Elysi Delothosin answered Jin's questions and the others, he was proving himseld not to be a threat. Jin was absorbing everything he was saying about himself and the Daemon's. But he himself was asked a question by Amaya, about his reasoning for being here. It seemed he also wasn't completely off the questioning board himself. "Honestly speaking the Witches Forest is a very sacred place, i've seen what has happened to others regions that the Daemons have entered, I would like avoid that here. Also these Daemons have peaked my interest."
"No no I am fine thanks for the offer though, but with everything going on at the moment you missed a question that I asked. What is your goal in being here?"

[break] Elysi remained still and quiet as his guests seemed to have a heated discussion amongst themselves looking over the notes in the book he had in his hand. He took note as Sol and Amaya took a stand against their captain, it was clear to him that there was no real synergy in the group. They each had their own unique qualities that would work well together if there was harmony, the issue was that the leader didn't care to listen and showed little concern for what his subordinates thought and the subordinates didn't seem to trust or respect the one meant to lead them. He understood that people got frustrated and said things that they didn't mean, but if this had indeed been the second time he had said such a thing it was out of more than frustration. The elder Delothosin truly believed there was a seed of intent behind Zaven's words. [break][break] "Sol, all family heads would be expected to know everyone within it." he would say thoughtfully looking up from his journal to look at Sol before looking at Amaya "That includes tracking those who decide to go to foreign lands without an escort or magic." he said showing that although he had indeed been trapped within the forest for five years he was still very much informed of the goings on within the Clover Kingdom. His gaze turned towards Sol "Of course." he stated before nodding showing that he had gotten the correct number. "Only two of the children are male, the other six are female." he informed the group, given where they found themselves it would be no surprise that most of Lilith's children would be female "Only one was not born daemon from my understanding and that is the younger of her two sons." he said hoping it would be of some aid. [break][break] "The offer will always be there." he said bowing his head a little to Sol before turning his attention to Amaya "As I said, I haven't seen a magic knight the entire time I have been inside this forest so it is unlikely your esteemed cousin would know of your actions here unless you or one of your companions were to tell him." he informed her in the hopes that it would put her mind at ease, he didn't believe that the ice mage had connections within the Witch's Forest but it was still a possibility. "Hm?" he turned his attention to where Amaya was looking "They quite possibly might be given my family's expertise and specialities." he said moving over and inspecting the runes a little closer "These are for warding from the outside. It's essentially a shield with certain capabilities found within sensory mages. In this case, hiding the mana signature of the one or ones within it." he said calmly. [break][break] "There are other things within this cluster of runes so they might be different from the one seen on your estate and without seeing them personally I couldn't tell you exactly what they are meant for." he said with a warm smile. He didn't see any reason to hide what these runes done, if anything he believed it may help them find themselves at peace knowing that they were indeed safe from the daemons that were roaming the forest. He returned to his seat once more just as Zaven had finished what he had been saying to Hinota "Please remain within five meters of my cabin, it will keep you safe and will keep our whereabouts unknown." he said to the eldest of the group as he took his leave, he had no idea if Zaven had even heard a single word of what he said but from what he viewed the only person he had addressed that entire time was the young woman who had yelled. [break][break] "He has every right to be frustrated given the very real and tense situation you have all placed yourselves in, especially if you are lacking crucial information." he said looking down at the closed journal in his hand his thumb rubbing over the worn black leather. "That being said none of you will make it out of this forest alive if you don't find some sort of harmony within your group. From an outsider's perspective, you do not trust or respect him and he doesn't care for your feelings or opinions. You're going to end up destroying yourselves and these daemons will be laughing at the entertainment you are providing them." he said looking at the group. "However, I will give you a warning about your captain..." his voice had gone far more serious than the entire time he had been in their presence [break][break] "The fact he has mentioned destroying this place even in frustration... this forest will feed on that darkness and will manipulate it." he warned. "I am hoping that I am wrong this time, but, you must be prepared to end his life if he falls to that darkness if you do not he could and likely would become a newly born daemon himself and you'll be dealing with a whole new threat." he said his eyes locking onto Sol's briefly "There is a rumor our family has been keeping an eye on in regards to the Blake, I will discuss it with you before you leave." It wasn't something he was willing to discuss with someone outside of the family, then again he knew he likely shouldn't be discussing it with Sol either but he had his reasons for it. "Yes, Elenor is my elder sister as is the one who tends to Samson and Jagen." he would state seeing no reason to hide it, it was common knowledge that his family tended to the two mages. [break][break] "Oh, I did? I do apologise for that." he said listening to the white-haired mage speak his question to him once more "As I stated I am aligned with the vault keeper there was a breach and things went missing." his tone showed he wasn't going to mention what exactly had gone missing just that there were things unaccounted for. "After some investigation one of the items was found to be within this forest, Unfortunately for me, the item in question falls under my expertise and so I was sent to retrieve it." he said his tone remaining calm the entire time "But I have yet to find it as the odds are not in my favour as you can imagine given the threats outside." his family were daemon bane that much was true but even ants could take down an elephant when there was enough of them. [break][break] He then thought back to Hinota's request for information and how much he actually knew. "The two that play in this part of the forest have single elements. Selina uses plant while Lunia uses earth. As for how they specialize in their magics they both have attack and illusion magic, Selina has restraining and transformation while Lumia has defence creation and golem creations. The act like children so use that to your advantage" he said thoughtfully. "The eldest are Airila who is the female and Isto'seke the male. They both use double elements She uses Feather and Blood while he uses Dark and Void." he said looking through his notes "As before they both use attack creation and illusions just in different ways, but they also both use physical reinforcement. He has defence and restraining in addition to this. She has healing and hex and curse. I will also add they both are able to do magical traps." he informed them. [break][break] "Airila is impulsive and enjoys fighting while Isto'seke is a more cautious tactician" he finished on those two pairs "The others I don't have too much information on, I'm sorry." this meant he did have a little more information he could share if asked "I know given how much time I've been here I should know these daemons inside and out but given the numbers and they actively hunt me I attempt not to leave my cabin unless I know I am one hundred percent safe." he informed them closing his book "And before you ask why there are no other Delothosin here, well the risk assessment done was not in my favour." it stood to reason that his family would look at a situation and decide if the risk would be worth the outcome, unluckily for him it seemed that the risk wasn't worth it which he seemingly understood and accepted.

The yelling had come to an end and everyone made their stances known, Zaven himself had left the cabin to get some fresh air and would return when he felt level headed. Elysi had noticed things within the members of the group and has even voiced them to those who remained giving them two warnings. The first was that they needed to get on the same page while the other was that there was a darkness lurking within their captain and that the forest would attempt to make it stronger, potentially giving birth to a new daemon if it succeeded. He informed the group how he ended up there, how many male and female children of Lilith their were even naming four, giving their magics and the specializations of their magics. There is additional information he could give but it is clear that he will not share it willingly.

Jin Zhongli
Elysi was full of vital information on many different things it seemed like. When it came to his own family filling in Sol, and even with the Blake family. Jin cared little for the details of royal or noble families and houses, he only truly cared for his own and the Yuiee. He was a member of the Zhongli family through and through, his mother was his only mother even if weren't blood. Their connection was thicker than blood, but he would have some guesses from time to time on whom his blood family was. Jin himself liked to think that he came from no noble housing, and his family were farmers he just so happened to be blessed with a five star grimoire. Thats what he liked to tell himself.
"I've heard about Zaven's Blakes many accomplishments when it came to defending Clover. While what you say might be true, I believe the King of Shadows will prevail over whatever demons he might be dealing with. But with that being said we shall be cautious." Jin said in response to Elysi's comments about Zaven potentially turning into a demon himself. To an extant Jin did truly believe this, but of course only to a certain extant. Jin only trusted a very select few people in this world and none of them were in this room currently. But when it came down to magic knights like Zaven he didn't have to trust his character, he did trust the Shadow of the Dawn own resolve.
Upon hearing more from Elysi Jin had understood his situation now, if he was telling the truth. "So you’re stranded here basically. That is no way to live." Jin said half jokingly.
Once he finished giving out what information he had on the Daemons he encountered, Jin was tapping the pommel of his sword to his chin. "Void and darkness...that is quite the nasty combination. Encountering someone else with my element, will be interesting to say the least. That being said we should have our own open discussion on our own elements and weaknesses. So the mistake I made before won't happen again. This will also perhaps help in us working together as a team." Jin said to the group. "But we should probably best wait for Zaven to return."
Jin then looked towards Elysi again. "That bottle you used against the mana beast, what was that?" he asked him. The rogue was very curious about this item, he used it to singlehandedly take care of threat, if he had more it could definitely come in handy.
