Hapshass was the place to be right now for some good honest work. Jin had to admit it was quite refreshing taking these more public requests for some good pay, rather than his usual work that required him to have two eyes in the back of his head at all times. This was another rescue mission, he had another one lined up as well. Jin honestly had no issues with rescue missions, sometimes they even paid better than the kill order ones. But it all depended on who needed the saving, unlike his other job this one didn't come from a crime boss. But rather a simple older noble woman, who wanted her son and daughter in law back in their estate safe and sound. Jin's connect had informed him about the job, and thought it would be a good idea to prepare for the much larger mission down the line. Which Jin the rogue had agreed.
Being given the information needed, Jin already had a solid idea of what this mission would entail. The white haired rogue was walking towards the cliffs of Hapshass's shoreline, where the sounds were reportedly heard that may have lead to people's capture. Jin knew he was to rescue two individuals in particular if he wanted to receive his pay. So protecting them had to take top priority over everything else, but there was also the task of eradicating the threat responsible for these capturing acts. There was a chance that it could be a long night, even though his objective was to go in get the target and get out. So for this Jin made sure he was prepared for combat, he brand not only his two favorite daggers 'Life's Breath' and 'Karasu' but he also wrapped up the light spear 'The Dawnbringer' in a some brown coverings and rested it on his shoulder.
The rogue was looking out in the distance planning his method of approach for the slaver's camp. Did he want to go in using his stealth, or was he in the mood to go in just attacking. There was a couple of ways he could approach this, he just had to decide how. He was crouched down with his hand on his chin thinking of a plan. But he was getting the feeling of someone or more approaching the area.
Recently, people having been hearing strange music coming from the cliffs near Hapshass's shoreline, which has drawn in those that were either really drunk or really curious. It goes without saying that none of these people have made it back, leaving the civilians to wonder as to what might have happened, in turn leading relatives and friends to go out and search for them. When they also did not return, those that remained asked for help in figuring out what has happened and then dealing with this problem.

Jin had held out his hand for the other white haired male to grab if need be. He wasn't in the business of saving random lives unless he was getting paid for it, or it benefitted him someway. But with this being the rogues first dungeon it would benefit him to keep him alive, simple because he didn't know the dangers that were ahead. Maybe just maybe he needed someone to down the line, he didn't want to take the chance on doing it himself. But from what he noticed the man that got caught in the quicksand didn't need help at all, he simply grabbed one of the vines nearby and pulled himself up. Seems the one named Vile didn't really help at all.
Vile was a rather peculiar name Jin thought, and of course like always his mental guard was up. Was Vile his real actual name, or was it implying something else. Was his demeanor Vile? Or was something else like his smell. He imagined that this was a name he gave himself, and thought it was pretty cool. "I am names names Jin, and aren't we all a little bit mysterious." the rogue replied to him looking up to see another visitor coming through the front entrance. The new fellow was wearing a fancy looking suit that was not really the best for these kind of places, but everyone had their own personal tastes. So Jin didn't think much of it, it was funny to him through that now there was Vile who dressed like the complete opposite of this new guy. One was dressed rather dirty and unkempt while the other was very clean and sharp. "Some interesting people are out today." Jin said out loud.
Without wasting time though he used a mana tether and mentally commanded it to fly him onto the next floor.

Floor 2 | Room 1
Going up the stairs led to a wide spread area, showing off pretty very different land spaces. It was quite a site to see Jin had to admit, but the stench of the upcoming room caught his attention. He rested his golden spear on his shoulder and looked towards the one named Vile as he asked a question. Wanting to know what exactly brought everyone here, for Jin it was a number of things. The rumors of treasure of course, but also it was the pure curiosity he had on this place. Ancient beats and settings, peeked his interest he had admit and since he had the free time and Aeila was busy doing her own thing. Why not finally pay this place a visit. "Simple curiosity. But treasure as well." Jin answered him with a slight smirk.
But right after he answered this question weird looking snail like mushrooms started to appear around them. Each one had a singular large red eye, that made it pretty obvious on where to strike them. Vile was already in motion to go on the offensive. Valo looking around the cave saw there was about fifteen of the creatures, and with the three of them that meant it was five each. So now it was time to get to work, Jin still standing on his crow golem Zeno. Quickly aimed his spear and threw it with pin point accuracy straight at one of the snail mushroom's eye going right through it killing it instantly. And the spear itself stabbing the wall behind it.
Then with two snail like creatures in front of him about ten meters away. Jin commanded his golem to fly right towards them with both wings out. Zeno wasn't a golem that was just used for transportation, actually it's main usage was combat. The golem was quick and decently strong, so it's wings would slice right through both of the mushrooms with little effort killing another two of them rather quickly. Zeno had flew over for Jin to grab his spear back, but right as he did that another mushroom a few meters away had tried to attack the rogue with some vines. But the rogue was quick with a reaction, he separated himself from his golem by flipping to his left and Zeno flew right avoiding the attack.
Jin used the opening to run at the creature closing the distance and as soon as he was close enough, he swung his spear with it's razor sharp end and cut the creature's giant eye nearly in half. Jin started to spin his spear between his fingers as his deep blue eyes focused on his next target the last of his mushrooms. The same attack happened again, but the vines were cut from some quick and precise maneuvers from his golden spear. Moving in and closing the distance when the time was right, Jin jumped into the air and stabbed the last one with his spear killing it as well. With a quick pull the rogue took his spear out of it's eye and called Zeno back to his side, just in case he needed the crow for anything else. He did turn his head to see how the others made out with their enemies.

Name of Spell: Zeno Element: Void Rank: Intermediate Size: 2.1 Meters Mana Cost: Cost: 22 | Recharge Cost: 24 Type of Golem: Predator Applicable Perks: N/A Description:
Zeno is a large bird like golem, closely resembling a crow and raven Jin's favorite birds. Zeno stands at 7 feet tall from it's head to it's tail feather. The size of each of it's wings is about 7 feet as well, giving it a 4.2 meter wingspan. Because of it's wide wingspan flying for this golem is extremely easy, and following the transportation rules Zeno can carry two people at a time. While used for transportation it’s speed is 10 m/s. Zeno has some intricate designs on it's feathers and body that stem from Jin's void energy taking a light blue hue. This hue can darken though if need be. Zeno is a golem made entirely of Jin's void energy, making it a fierce attacking golem. Each part of it's body can be used as a method of attack from it's deadly sharp beak, to it's razor sharp wings and it's powerful claws. Also because of it's void like properties whatever items or mundane structures not backed by magic Zeno attacks gets destroyed completely and potentially erased from existence. If Karasu is wielded by a void user then it suffers the strengths and weaknesses of the void element. Following the ammo rules he can summon an additional one with every 30 stat points into control. The maximum number of Zeno’s Jin can summon is four only with the proper control.
The white haired rogue awaited her answers, and got met with her questioning if he trusted her. Truth be told it wasn't that he didn't trust her or anything but he simply just wanted to know what she was up to. So far they had both only been on their tasks and missions separately, which was just a little odd to him. She seemed to know more than what she lead on, on the surface she was a young women who had very little knowledge of the outside world. But from what Jin had seen this wasn't exactly the case, she had a ton of experience and knowledge especially in their field. But she was essentially trained to be an assassin like him, so maybe it made sense she had these connections. "I do trust you. I was just honestly a little curious." Jin answered her honestly.
But she didn't want to explain just what she was doing here just yet, which was fine to him. That already gave him a ton of information, she was here on a mission and not a typical one. One most likely given out by the Agents of Avarice, whom lived by their secrecy. Jin had no direct feelings about them, he didn't dislike them but he couldn't really say that he liked them either. They paid well for the jobs they put out, thats all that could be said about it. "I have. Once, twice maybe a few times."Jin answered her question about if he had been here before. But she did explain that she preferred to work at night rather than the day, which he figured. She was attached to her veil cause she needed it during the day, almost as much as her grimoire. "I know. I figured as much.” he replied with a smirk.
She then recalled the conversation they had not to long ago, about them working together and surviving together. Which made the rogue nod now that she finally understood why he followed her. "Mmmhhmm. So why don't we do this one together hmmm? We could use the practice.” he said again leaving his hands in his pocket. The duo had to eventually get to the point where they could not only work together, but be in sync with one another. He knew that sometimes their line of work usually fell into doing a job solo, at least the small stuff. But as they got the point where it was time to take bigger jobs and needed an ally they would have each other. And one could only get to the point of a perfect partnership with some good old practice.
But Aeila then began to say something worthy of allot interest. Something he also only heard slight whispers about from time to time, they started right after the Kikka incidents as well. This mentioning of Eclipse Raven. Jin had no idea what this Eclipse Raven was, or their intentions. They didn't seem to entirely linked to the Agents of Avarice as well, though he figured they probably had to work together to some capacity. Jin simply bent down as she whispered in his ear about it, and looked down obviously in a focused thought. To him this Eclipse Raven was worth keeping in mind, like everything else. Knowledge was true power especially in their world. Jin's curiosity in whatever Eclipse Raven was only grew more and more. And he would seek out answers. "Hmm. Ive heard whispers. It's worth keeping them in mind. Answers will show themselves sooner or later. And we will find some of our own.” Jin replied with a whispers of his own.
After that he would stand back up with a smile. "Well you are in charge, lead the way.” Jin said quietly speaking about the mission she was on. The assassin didn't really know what her objective was or how she planned to do it. He would listen and follow her lead first, and provide whatever she needed in support.

The job was done, rather quickly as well. There was no need to make this process any longer than it had to be. The target was a young female, and she wasn't a fighter and also far from a killer. She was really no threat to anyone, but the task had to be done. Since he and Aeila were assigned to it, if they failed it would be them on the other side of someone's blade. For more than just a moment, Jin had felt for this young girl he had no problem taking a life. But even he as coldblooded as he was sometimes, even he didn't take well to killing young women especially if they were no particular threat to anyone.
But the white haired rogue had to remind himself there was no room for softness in this world. It would get you killed. His mother had to beat this into him time and time again, till he not only understood it but till it became apart of him. There was no going back, no escaping the life of a rogue that he was born into. He had to be cold, ruthless, cunning if he was going to survive in this world. But in the back of his mind, he wasn't just chasing survival he was chasing something else entirely.
Jin with a wave of his hand and put an end to his spells, and now watched Aeila perform her magic. He had seen her use it before, although it was from a distance. This was good opportunity to see it up close and how it really worked. Her magic was linked to her grimoire as all magic was, but hers seemed to be directly more reliant on it. Jin's own grimoire always remained hidden strapped to his lower back, and his black jacket covering it. When he used his spells it only gave off a feint dark purple hue, that never really got noticed. Jin was always pretty particular on hiding his grimoire and his magic from people, unlike lots of other mages he believed it was a weakness to show off your element to everyone. There was to much power in the unknown in his opinion.
Aeila said her chant of the body of the girl dissolved and turned to sparkling particles that gently faded into her grimoire. The book was open and then it quickly closed, and Aeila said her last prayer something she tended to do when acquiring a new wraith. After that she held her grimoire tightly to her chest and stated it was time to report now. "Right." Jin replied following behind her wolves.
By taking this perk, your magic is able to push past the normal limits of your body's speed. When using a physical reinforcement spell that buffs your speed, you can increase it by an additional 5 m/s. At Grand rank, you can increase said spells by 10 m/s. (Note: these bonuses do not stack.)
The user can completely mask their mana signature and presence from anyone regardless of either's sensory stat or Ki abilities. This may last up to three posts before it is faded. This can be used twice a thread.
Description: Flauros is Jin's first illusion using the void. It is like his other beginning spells rather simple in concept, but was improved upon over time. Pressing his middle fingers and ring fingers together with both hands and utilizing void energy, Jin is able to create exact clones of himself and his allies throughout the battlefield tricking his enemies sight. That when attacked simply fade away into a dark blue mist. But he also discovered by coating himself in void energy, he can increase his speed, reactions, swiftness and velocity drastically. Having the clones act as after images to further trick the opponent. Also given his assassin and cold blooded nature, Jin can completely mask his mana signature and presence from anyone. Making it even more difficult to figure out who the real Jin is. With ammo rules, he can not only prevent his allies from being affected by the illusion but add versions of them into the illusion. Requirements to see through this illusion is 15 Sensory +2 for every 15 control the user has. Illusion's potency will naturally wane overtime, lowering the amount of sensory needed in order to see through them by 2 points per post they are sustained.

Description: Displaying more unique mastery of the void and it's energies. Jin has learned a spell that allows him to create ethereal blades for him to use in more direct combat. By swiping his arm to the side, he summons the blades. Each blade is 70 cm long resembling short swords, that are dark blue in color. Using his control he can move them with a mana tether if he so wishes or hold them in hand. Each blade is capable of dealing intermediate rank damage by cutting, slashing, and stabbing it's target. Do to the properties of Void magic, the blades can appear in a instant like manner and can completely destroy items and physical matter that are not reinforced by magic. For example using a blade to cut through a wall not reinforced my magic, said blade would easily cleave through it with no difficulty. With the use of ammo rules additional blades can be created, in accordance to his control. Also anyone holding this blade receives an increase in speed, reactions, swiftness and velocity.
The Fringe. Home to mainly large landscapes of different terrain, and lots of history. All the history in this place intrigued Jin quite a bit. It was right next to the Diamond Kingdom outskirts the main place for a massive war. The rogue found himself looking intently at all the landscapes trying to spot signs of war and battle atop of his raven golem. He heard and read about the wars and battles that took place, but he rather see the history in person and it sure was a sight to see.
Jin was also returning from a trip to the Wildlands, he ventured out to those lands a few times. It was a land without laws and rules where the true unsavory people of the world liked to live. But Jin didn't go there for that, the Wildlands was a territory with massive potential. Such large and luscious lands unclaimed and unused. Much to far for any 'heroic' faction to visit let alone keep tabs on. Jin's most recents jobs and encounters had left him wondering about many things. And maybe just maybe the Wild lands held they key to some kind of future.
But today sis destination was in fact a dungeon one that was located somewhere deep in the trenches of the Fringe. Which made it an easy target for rogues to try and get their hands on some treasure. And it was way out the way for the capitol to keep an eye on. That meaning that many rogues and things alike had first access to this dungeon, and for the Capitol that was not acceptable. Rogues having first access to a dungeon did not sit well, but this didn't really matter much to Jin. The chances of him running into a magic knight way out here was pretty slim. And if he did come across one he was well prepared. The only problem was, could he find it. Jin sat up straight on his golem rubbing his chin looking around, he was pretty sure he followed the proper directions. "Mmmmm Zeno...are we lost?" he asked his large crow like golem, knowing full well he wasn't going to get an answer back, he looked down at his golem with a sense of joy in his eyes. But when the rogue looked back up his jaw dropped. A large dust storm heading straight towards him, it came out of nowhere and now it was much to late to try and escape it. He just needed to embrace it.
Jin covered his face with his free arm, trying to make sure no dust got in his eyes and mouth. He was doing his best to steer his golem in the proper directions but the strong winds and dust made that nearly impossible. He grabbed hold of his spear keeping it tucked under his left arm, his two daggers were fine being strapped behind him. He was being turned and tossed all over the place with no sense of control or direction. After a while he had no clue or idea where he was, he just wanted the storm to end and luckily enough it did.
Eventually Jin found himself still on top of his golem Zeno, but now in front of a large tower. The rogue wiped the sand from his eyes in order to clear his vision. He was now looking at a giant door covered in green vines and other things of nature. But something or someone else caught his eye and his sensory. There was someone else there too, Jin looked to that location and saw a young man about the same age as him. With dirty white hair, and even dirtier clothes. His skin was dirty as well and his eyes looked sleep deprived, and wildly unnatural. On the outside this man looked and smelled like a simple hermit without a home who probably ended up lost here because of the sandstorm. But Jin could also sense his mana, and he knew this vagabond was not to be judged solely on how he looks.
Jin using a mana tether commanded his golem to fly close to the dirty white haired male. As a rogue Jin trusted next to no one, and of course he had his doubts but maybe just maybe this man could prove useful. Jin crouched down staying on his flying golem making sure to keep a safe distance between them but their words could be heard. "You...you seem...capable. The easy guess is to say you are lost. But I don't think that's the case. I think you know exactly where you are, and you have plans to head inside and see what treasures you can find." Jin said pointing his Dawnbringer spear at the dungeons doors. Having his golem fly towards the doors, Jin would swing his long spear down with one fell stroke cutting all the vines and green lianas. "Should we venture inside together?" Jin asked the mysterious young man, but he wouldn't wait long for an answer as his golem flew into the dungeon slowly.
Floor 1 | Room 1
Jin would remain on top of his flying golem the ground was dirty and muddy, plus he also didn't fully trust this mysterious smelly stranger. He did think he looked rather interesting though. But Jin couldn't just pay attention to his stench but the stench that was also surrounded them. A smell of soil, mud, dirt and many other things filled his nose. While Jin was not a fan of such stenches, oddly enough it bothered him very little and only served to annoy him. He simply used the high collar of his black jacket to cover his nose.
If the stranger followed Jin would begin to attempt some conversation. "So...whats your name?" Jin asked him looking down at the ground. And that's where he noticed it, the muddy ground was anything but normal. It was quick sand or some kind of sinking dirt. Jin was safe because he was on his golem, but the stranger was not. Normally Jin could careless about saving the life of another, he only 'saved' people when it provided him with some pay. It was rare for him to go out of his way for things like that, but even he was surprised when his hand was out for the stranger to grab just in case he needed help getting out the quick sinking dirt. "Take my hand if you need it." he said simply. The back of his mind thinking it's best he have some kind of support going through this dungeon, rather than venture it alone.

カラス Karasu (Crow) is a rather simple looking dagger, looking rather plain in it's appearance. But it gives off a rather wicked essence. The materials used for Karasu are some rare metals that bond well with void energy, so it is rather rare. The long dagger is nine inches from tip to tip, and has a perfect light weight to it. The long blade is very thing and extremely sharp allowing for an easy use of piercing or cutting a target, it is also perfect for a long throwing knife when it needs to be.
Karasu was a prize Jin had won in his youth, for completing his tenth mission without fail. His 'mother' Jukane Zhongli had her servants go out and find the perfect metals that would work will with Jin's Void element. Knowing Jin was fond of birds, particularly ravens and crows. She had a golem specialist work with the young Jin at the time in creating his crow golem. Zeno. That would be imbued inside the dagger.
And she had it made to show how proud she was of her perfect little killer.
*Trivia - Zeno is named after a philosopher Zeno of Elea, who is known for devising complex paradoxes. Named ‘Zeno Paradoxes’ that often deal with the intricacies of space, time and motion.

Another night another assignment was given to Aeila and Jin. This time coming from a Agent of Avarice, they were a peculiar group. Not many knew allot about them. And it was clear that they liked to keep it that way. Jin didn't much mind where the work came from, as long as it was legit and the source could be trusted he didn't mind. But what did slightly bother him was the target they were assigned to kill. Jin had been raised to have no moral fetters to hold him back from being the perfect killer. He could take a life as easy as breathing as it was all just work to him. But even he had his limits, he did not like to women that were carrying a child nor did he like to kill the young and innocent. This target wasn't a child exactly, but their age was young. A bit to young for Jin's liking, but nevertheless they would get it done.
Aeila had claimed the target could in fact be a new friend for her, which was true. Anything they killed Aeila had the ability to bring them back as a wraith for her use. And the raven haired girl viewed all her wraiths as a growing family and friends, so it wasn't some cruel fate. In certain ways it was like a release. "Looks like it." Jin replied to her with a smile on his face. He wasn't his normal goofy self, but he knew if they didn't do it someone worse would see to it. So it had to be them.
In the depths of the Rogue's refuge with some search, they were able to find her general location. Aeila had summoned her wolves in order to help with the direct tracking from there. "Flauros." Jin activated his spell that increased his speed drastically and provided perfect illusionary clones of himself. He was running behind the wolves so they can track the target, but once the target was found he actually ran past them. Reaching behind him he grabbed hold of the dagger Aeila had gifted him. Life's Breath was held in his right hand with a reverse grip. His deep blue eyes locked onto the target, the information on her was correct she was young. Almost to young.
"Vephar." he activated another spell that increased his already impressive speed even further, and also summoned two ethereal blades made out of void energy that hovered in the air right beside him. The girl had a talent for sound magic as her fast foot steps made no sound, and used sound as well to increase her speed. She was but a simple thief who had stolen from the wrong people, it was a sad fate. But the same thoughts were on his mind, it was best they were assigned for the task. The Agents will not stop until the target is dead, and chances were if they sent someone else it could have been much worse. And if they failed in their task, it could also make them a target.
A hint of sadness could be seen in his eyes as he launched himself full speed towards the sound thief. He aimed one of the void blades to pierce her chest right where her heart was ending her life instantly do to the nature of his magic and the accuracy of where he aimed it, she would feel no pain as it happened. Her life would simply fade, if the blades hit. Jin would catching her body before it hit the ground would used two fingers and gently close her eyes. Then place the lifeless body on the floor gently, so Aeila could use her magic. His mind coming to the conclusion that he still very much was entangled in chains. This was not freedom.

A young Jin sitting on the floor with the rest of his 'brothers and sisters' looking up at their mother Jukane Zhongli. Most are children and even the oldest among them are no older than 15-16 years old. Jin being eleven around this time, has his deep blue eyes focused and looking at his mother. Leaving nothing to distract him from listening to her words. "By now most of you know the importance of remaining hidden yes?"
"Yes." the entire room said in unison, without fail.
"Good. Remaining hidden doesn't just mean, staying out of sight. But can you hide when all eyes are on you? Can you hide yourself when everyone around you is an enemy and they can see you clear as day. Without the use of magic?" She asked her silver eye glistening as she spoke.
The entire room remained quiet not knowing the answer to such a question, most were confused. How can one hide, when every enemy in the room can already see you? And not use magic at all. Some of the children were scratching their heads trying to figure it out, while the older kids smirked as they already knew the answer. "Anyone?"
Jin had looked reluctant to answer, as he had an idea but wasn't confident in it. Then a nudge from his brother Eno, pushed him to raise his hand. Jukane's eye glistened again looking at the young silver haired Jin. "Why yes my little Jin."
Jin gulped as he knew the punishment for getting an answer wrong, meant more intense physical training. Something he wanted to avoid. But he went ahead and gave his best answer. "Remain unknown...if...if tasks are completed efficiently and effectively then no one will know who you are. Then no one will know the unknown. Therefore in a public place, you are hidden. You...you can act and react accordingly to the situation at hand. Keep in mind that at all times your true self is hidden, when all enemy eyes are on you." Jin answered. A moment of silence was in the room, but that ended when Jukane responded. "A beautiful answer Jin, and that is absolutely correct. And now that will lead us into networking.."
-End Flashback -
Jin of course with his line of work tended to avoid being apart of big celebrations or public balls. Not that he didn't enjoy them or like them from the outside in. But being a hired assassin meant certain sacrifices had to be made to his social life. But this little sacrifice could be remedied if and only if he made the proper connections with the right people. And that's exactly what Jin was doing as of late, networking with the right people.
Allot of the time most people thought rogues were mindless and rowdy bunch of people, who did not like to follow certain laws. Allot of people thought rogues were easy to spot, and easy to tell from anyone else. But for Jin Zhongli this wasn't the case, for his work he had break those laws and those rules. And unlike allot of rogues he wasn't so easy spot, not because he was skilled in hiding his presence. But because he was skilled in hiding his true self, or as he would put it mixing his truths with lies. But also Jin had no serious issues with civilians, magic knights or nobility not even royalty. His drive to succeed in his tasks didn't stem from anything like revenge against a certain class or job, he bares no true ill will to these other factions. To him they are all living within their purpose, following the orders given to them by the higher ups. Jin stood a few meters away looking at the ball from the outside in between some people as to not stand out to much at all. But he was watching people work, and talk and greet and eat and all the things people do in these functions. All doing as they are told, the guards will guard and the dancers will dance. All of them linked to chains. What he was chasing was to be free of the chains.
Jin was dressed up in a suit to make sure he fit in. It was rather simple as well, nothing to make him stand out to much. It was mostly all black with a red shirt inside all of it fit to his form by a tailor. He was wearing his black round shape shades though, that was more of his own personal style choice. His hands in his pockets he was people watching, but also waiting for Aeila to make her appearance. Often times he was like a caretaker for her, but he didn't see it this way. Aeila was more than capable of taking care of herself. But when it came to other things she did need a bit of help, but when he wasn't around she had her wraiths. Aeila's wraiths were very much peculiar in the fact that most of them if not all, kept their personalities in tact. Be it a human wraith or a animal one, they all had distinctive characteristics that she kept within them. There was a particular one named Frederick, who often served as her butler of sorts. The dialogue between them was odd for one, Frederick would often talk down on Aeila one moment and then completely act differently the next. But if this didn't bother Aeila to much, Jin would leave it be. Unless it was getting out of hand he would step in. These wraiths she had were like a budding family to her, as long as it didn't slow down her growth he had no issues. In fact these wraiths and their personalities would helping her growth.
But this Fredrick did have access to funds that Aeila would make use of, if she knew or not. But Aeila was smart so she probably did. So when Jin told her to meet him at the ball, he knew that she would make things work on her own end with the use of Fredrick. And not much to his surprise she did. Not only did she arrive dressed for the occasion, but she did so in carriage. Jin wasn't to fond of the idea, only because arriving in such a manner could draw unwanted attention. But luckily enough there was many people arriving in carriages, noble or not. So it was fine. Jin moving silently as always would creep up to Aeila's left and bend down a little as to bow. "Aeila you look beautiful." he said calmly. And just in case she wasn't to sure on the word beautiful he would follow it up. "Another word for wonderful, and absolutely amazing."
The rogue would then stand back up straight with a slim smile on his face, holding his hand out for her take. "Well then. Shall we enter?" he asked her.
'The capable and prepared never sleep with both eyes closed Jin.' As his mother used to lecture him time and time again. Suffice to say that it was an effective tactic that made the white haired rogue a very light sleeper. And that he slept with one eye open at all times, not physically of course but mentally. Sounds and movements a shift in mana, would cause him to awaken. One could argue this was not a guaranteed way to get a good nights rest, but when you were trained to sleep this way all your life you tend to just get used to it. As was Jin. So while he was indeed sleeping, when his raven haired partner was moving about at night he was well aware. Jin honestly had no issue with Aeila going out on her own and doing her own thing, he trusted her to make smart and proper decisions. But he would be lying if he said, he wasn't interested in what she had to do so late in the night.
So the rogue took it upon himself to follow her and see where she was going. Walking into the dining room without making a sound after she left, he noticed her drawing that she put on the table for him. A smile was on his lips as he looked at her drawing, she had the markings to look for the Black Market from what he could make out. At least she gave him the means to find her, if he needed so she wasn't trying to abandon him or anything. Her picture didn't have allot of detail, but it didn't need it. He gently folded the picture in half and slid it into the inside of his jacket pocket. Knowing she could take care of herself, Jin was tempted to leave her be. But this was to good of an opportunity.
Jin stuck to the high grounds again when it came to keeping his eye on Aeila. She lacked a traditional mages sensory, or for better words it was just rather low and she needed more practice. But she made that up with her natural skill and pure instinct, which did not need so much practice. While she was no slouch in that department, Jin specialized in hiding his presence completely from even the most skilled sensors. While he wasn't using any of those abilities currently, hiding himself was natural to him. Eventually he made his down to ground level, keeping his distance from her. But alas the little game of hide and sneak was over when she demanded whoever was following her showed themselves.
And so he did, he stepped out of the shadows from behind her on the right side with a smirk on his face. "Ok ok. You got me." he said holding his hands up, in his left hand he was holding her drawing and flipped it open using his right hand to point at it. "I really enjoyed your drawing. I just wanted to see how it measured up to the real thing." The rogue said with a smile. Then continued. "But I also wanted to see what you are doing out here. I think it's time we start completing some work together, don't you agree?" he asked placing the picture back in his inside jacket pocket, and putting his hands in his pockets awaiting her answer.
Jin was taken aback a little with Aeila's response, she immediately started to shriek in a panic when he started to approach her. He thought he proved to her so far he was no threat, but if he was being honest her not having complete trust in him was for the better. Not because he would do her harm one day, he honestly never planned to at all. But sometimes to much trust, can make one soft to soft for the world they lived in. He wanted her to think for herself, but not become to soft in the process. But perhaps this reaction she had was different, perhaps this reaction was a trigger for her when someone approached with a hand raised. Some of his siblings had the same reaction when father approached them, he knew what this was like for her. Terrifying and afraid.
After she calmed down when she realized he was no threat to her at the time, she started to explain why she got him the gift. She wanted to thank him for taking care of her. But Jin didn't see it this way, he wasn't taking care of her. He was teaching her. Not in the traditional sense, she was extremely smart and very capable on her own. What she lacked was a drive and purpose for herself. "I appreciate the gift, it will come in handy I am sure. But lets not think of this as a taking care of one another." Jin said with a comical smile with a finger waving in the air. "Let's say this a team effort, a partnership perhaps! But again I am very grateful and not unhappy."
As Jin was explaining to her what they were doing their, she kept silent for most of it. But he knew she heard and understood every word, but what was interesting was that she decided to respond when he jokingly called her little. He meant no offense by it, he knew she was more than capable when it came to dangerous situations. But he could tell by her tone, she wasn't a fan of it. But what he found most interesting was her shifting mindset on things, certain actions triggered entirely different responses. And it didn't make much sense to him, but that in itself made sense. Aeila was a far far far from a normal young women, it was sad to say she will never be one. That was taken from her, early on in life just like him. "Oh. Did I strike a nerve?" he asked her looking back with his deep blue eyes showing some concern. Just a minute ago she was scared for her life, but now she was willing strike back with such verbal force. It showed him that there was definitely a chance for her to break her chains, this was a good outcome indeed.
Jin kept walking to the location he wasn't upset with her at all, but he did have an interest in continuing the little conversation. "So not little? Understood. It won't happen again. Although I will say out of the two of us, you are definitely the shortest. Although I guess I can be called little Jin. It's what my annoying brother used to call me." Jin replied at his attempt of a harmless joke. It probably won't put a smile on her face, but it made him smirk. He opened the door to the housing they were supposed to stay at, and would let her enter first. "But tell me why? Your response was very sharp and very direct. I've only seen that from you once before, when we met that idiot light user. Which was more than justified, don't get me wrong." Jin started to look around the room getting a feel of the place, and most importantly to make sure they weren't being watched somehow. "But being called little bothers you, why?" he asked her again.
A sigh of relief poured over Jin when Aeila responded stating she was going to be patient. For a moment he thought he had lost her, and pushed to far. But luckily for him he did not, and he was able to tell her his honest plan. He was going to find out where she was from, he was going to take her back. But he was aiming for the right time for that to happen, when she had a better understanding on life and most importantly herself. So the goal was the same, help the girl think for herself, live for herself and make decisions for herself. To break the chains on her so she could be truly free. At the end of it all, that's all he was chasing. Freedom.
Aeila continued stating she was willing to stay, work, survive and do it together. The white haired rogue couldn't help but smirk and he walked over and patted her head softly. "Haha. I'm glad to hear it. I thought you were getting upset with me there, for a sec." he said in a comical tone. Now that they were beginning to learn more about each other, Jin was able to show her more of his comical laid back side at least for moments. Considering where they were, and who they were working with he still needed to be on point. But Jin had a perfect balance of mixing his humor with his work, once should never look at his humor as a sign of weakness. It is in fact used as a strength and a tool.
Oddly enough though Aeila reached into a random and odd velvet bag she had hiding behind her grimoire. She held it out for him claiming surprise. Zhongli looked at her and then the bag with a very confused face, did she really get him a gift? He thought. Jin didn't receive lots of gifts growing up, usually a lashing from his father when he underperformed was a 'gift'. If Jin truly wanted a gift of his own, he had to steal it or kill for it. Very rarely did his father actually give him a true gift, but that was so far and between it didn't really matter to the rogue. Jin took the velvet bag slowly feeling the sharp metal underneath. He pulled it out and gazed upon the ebony colored blade, it was a sharp and dangerous weapon that if not in the proper hands would easily cut themselves. With a couple of flicks and finger twirls Zhongli was spinning the black dagger expertly. It was a magnificent weapon. He looked back at Aeila with rare and honest eyes, his deep blue irises were lighter than usual. "Thank you. You didn't have to get me this..."
He understood her speech, and realized the dagger was made of a shadow element. A smile was on his lips looking at the dagger then back at her. Then he started to laugh a little bit, realizing she used probably the little yul she had and bought him a weapon. Instead of buying herself something, she wasn't selfish or self centered. Had she been born under different circumstances, who knew the kind of person she would have been. Probably not a killer, not a person who struggled with words, not a person whose eyes were sensitive to light. Aeila probably would have been a wonderful and giving kind of lady. And now her makers needed to pay. Jin sheathed the ornate dagger and held it with his left hand, for a flash of a second his face was deadly serious. Before going back to normal and smiling again, patting and ruffling her hair. He just made a new decision, in that one flash of a second. Everything he said had remained, he was going to help her find her home and bring her back. But now when that happened he was going to figure out who was responsible for Aeila and he was going to kill each and every single one of them.
"C'mon lets head inside now." he said with a smile, walking through the gate. They had lost their tour guide now, but he assumed they didn't really need one. He started to walk to the left housing area of the estate, that's where the guide said they would be allowed to stay. Jin started to speak to Aeila with a lower tone, so only she could hear. "Were just going to be working and training here for a little while. Until we have a safe place for our own, where we can really gather the information we need and map out our next moves from there. We will need to make connections with certain people for better or worse, like I said I know next to nothing about where your home is and neither do you. But I guarantee someone does, we just have to meet them and get that information. But that will take time." Jin stated his tone was rather serious up until this point. "So I appreciate your patience little Aeila." he said in more high pitched and light tone of voice with a smile.

Description: Seere started out as a rather simple attack spell, but it is the very first one Jin managed to learn from his grimoire. Overtime small improvements have been made to it. With the swipe of a limb, flick of the wrist, or even the snap of his finger. A thin line made of blue void energy is fired off at a intended target. Seere can appear in an instant like manner due to the nature of this magic. The attack itself is only 4 meters tall and it is intended to cut/slash things that are in it's way. The method of this spell was originally made to cut or slash literal space, creating a split. But at it's current power level it is not able to achieve this effect and cut through everything, being only able to do junior rank damage. The spell used to only travel in a straight path. But now the straight line can home in on it's target making it much harder to avoid, Jin is also able to control the path of these slashes with his control. With the use of ammo rules additional slashes can be created.

He does this by pointing two fingers upwards, and then focusing on where he wants to create the rift. Now with further practice Jin can unleash the potent energy contained within the void rift and have it literally burst causing a ten meter AOE attack dealing junior rank damage. Oriax can appear in an instant like manner due to the nature of this magic, the rift does take the time to form at a position based on the distance of the caster and the speed of a spell of the same rank. Using his sensory he is able to create a rift and have it home in on a target, Jin is also able to control the path of these rifts with his control. The white haired rogue suddenly stood up with a chuckle in his voice. "I'm sure you do, trust me I'm sure." he replied to her stating that she does use all her senses. If his thoughts were correct she was trained to be a killer like him, so she definitely used all her senses. It was just a shame her sense of sight was so sensitive. His thoughts were starting to come to light, when she not only heard his sentence but continued it in her own version. He did stop to look at her for a few moments, trying to see if she was maybe raised in the Zhongli family he just never noticed. But that was impossible Jin knew all of his brothers and sisters faces, they were etched into memory.
But he did come to the conclusion that there may have been other places like his home. People training children to use their magic abilities to kill, surely his father wasn't the only vile man in Clover. "A. I think we are very similar..." was all he said as walked into the kitchen. He assumed as much that she knew next to nothing about K, even if she did she probably wasn't going to tell a stranger. He just didn't want K showing up again causing trouble for him or her. For now he could leave that situation be.
From the kitchen he would raise his voice so she could hear him. "It's not 'What given.' The proper way to ask is. What is for dinner." he noticed her speech was entirely broken. Which was odd cause she was smart, very smart. He couldn't tell but it seemed that no one bothered to teach her proper english, which was a shame. Cause using proper english with his witty mind was one of Jin's favorite things. Perhaps he could teach her how to speak properly. "So what's for dinner is!....Soup and rice!" he said with a light jingle in his voice.
After a few he came back and placed a bowl of soup and a small bowl of rice on the dining table. Then reaching into his pocket and dropping a small pouch of coin on the table. "Ok A. I have work to do. My home is your home, eat and make yourself comfortable. You can also go and buy yourself something nice if you want from one of the markets. When I get back we'll start talking about how to get you home." he said walking towards the door. He gave her a nod and a smirk, before heading out and closing the door behind him.
